Coars frowns as he looks to the thump, but doesn't hesitate as he keeps moving. They needed that sunlight for any plants to have a chance, and any food made there would let them all have a better chance at surviving than anything else. He kept pressing forward, aware of the scent that would have caused the place to go up in smoke if he should even breathe too much.

As soon as Coars rounded the final corner before the secondary stairwell, a ghoul emerged from an open doorway between him and his goal. It had yet to notice him.

Coars wouldn' be so easily disuaded from his goal, moving for the path up as he glares at the ghoul, fully intent on getting through and toward the roof of the building.

The beast is tough, showing such as it slides back, catching itself on it's claws and growling hard, heading for Mik again.
The other cat is trying to jump aside from the axe, biting at Koh.
Tabi moves under the strike and growls at the cat, circling it as it lashes it's icey tail, seperating her from the garden.
