{{APPEARANCE}}

Standing at the above average female height, Regina Viske reaches five feet and nine inches, reaching almost ten or eleven in the painful looking high heel she will sometimes don on her outings. Her hair has been the same her entire life through the decades, and centuries, pouring down her shoulders and back in straight to sometimes wavy silky strands of midnight black. Her eyes illuminate a bright, abnormal green that adds a faint glow when she is in the dark, of course her vision is quite impressive whether or not the sun is out. (Which she is not extremely happy about when it dos.) Her skin is as pale as skin can get, white like snow and extremely soft to the touch but as cold as a corpse. She has an average physique, with more muscle underneath her glowing skin and she comes with an hour glass shape and curves where they should be; definitely not categorized as a slender woman but she is happy with how she was born. And if you could see those hips dance? You'd surely be in a trance.

She adorns a different array of styles, preferring to go darker then lighter when it comes to colors and styles that the humans have created for fashion. It went from giant dresses to poodle skirts, but she finds herself quite happy with this century's clothing style more then the others. Her makeup can range from blacks and grays with heavy eyeliner, to lighter silvers and purples and reds with a lighter black touch to her eyelashes and eyelids. But she adores makeup, and will never hesitate to show it off if she finds a style she loves. Her clothes go from grunge, to gothic, to punk to sophisticated depending on her mood but she favors dressing casually in her own way, along with spiked jewelry and fancy charms and jewels. You also can never get her to take off a cute lace corset if she finds one, because if she does, she will love it forever. She has tons still left in her closet that date back to when she was born, and even if they were quite hazardous to your health back then, Regina adores the look and can't let old clothes go.

Sometimes when you cut a vampire with silver, it can leave some nasty marks. Regina has been nabbed by humans with a dislike for hunters before, and has a long red and gray scar marking the top of her right thigh as well a series of smaller ones from a silver claw crafted by the church that raked the middle of her back.

{{PERSONALITY/TRAITS }}

You'll find Regina to be a very charismatic vampire, which is probably quite odd coming from one of an Elder Bloodline. She is quite rebellious, and that is certainly part of the reason why she is so care free and under no one's authority to do anything. She is quite friendly, to almost everyone she meets as the world she is in allows the supernatural to be among the mortals, even though her run ins with some other vampires and werewolves has been a bit shady. But her overall demeanor is cheerful, calm, and willing to help out someone who she thinks deserves it. Her loyalty and dedication to family and friends is one you will find no where else, and it would be wise to become her ally instead of her enemy. Judgment rarely pierces the thick armor she has put up over herself, and you'll find yourself rarely seeing Regina when she falls into the depressive states that she sometimes get from past memories that still leave some pretty painful wounds.

Although you will also find that her temper can be quite chaotic. When she gets mad, she gets mad and she will rip someone's head off with her hands. It's not that hard to do. Although she tries to keep herself in a calm state when forced with confrontation, you could probably hire her as a bouncer and she would do a great job. She can be quite intimidating, as well as extremely sarcastic due to her dry sense of humor and dark sense of comedy that she generally only shares around people irritating her or people who will understand it and not get all flustered and offended by some sort of perverted or graphic, or offensive joke that Regina likes to spit out. She has a hard time controlling her mouth at times, but over the centuries she has worked on her people skills which is why she is a fairly good people person now a days. You'd think being a 402 year old vampire would have built some maturity in her, but really, she still acts like a rebellious young adult searching the world for her purpose. Because frankly, in her mind, she still hasn't found it.

{{PERSONAL/FAMILY HISTORY}}

Born into a family of pureblood vampires, Regina found herself raised in a loving home with many rules and discipline that did not forsake the name of family. Even though she was raised a certain way, how to use manners and how to dress and address her elders, she always had a wild side that would land her and her older brother, who loved to break the rules, into trouble time and time again. The way the Viske's did things were different, and since the bloodline continued by generation according to leader. Her great great great grandfather and mother would have started the Viske bloodline. Her mother gave birth to her brother and Regina before being turned by her father, and once her brother turned the age of 21, he was turned as well. When Regina finally reached that age, she herself was turned by her suitor; Kristoff Turov, an arrogant and selfish vampire that Regina never had much of a liking too. Her mouth was too big, and her tongue too smart for her own good, and often landed her in trouble that she could rarely get out of. The Bloodline had rules, it had customs and traditions. But Regina and her brother rarely found themselves actually agreeing with those.

Regina and her brother were both fairly new to the married life when they decided the life they were living wasn't really living at all. Regina had a strong fascination for the human world, as well as the other creatures in it, and they decided the Turov bloodline would not hold them down. tHe Turov bloodline was demanding and constantly asking for the spotlight above the Viske bloodline, and held their customs and traditions in an even stricter sense then the Viske bloodline themselves. They would hold their ties to other bloodlines and considered themselves the supreme bloodline above the others, and it was a constant battle to get them to see reason. When Regina and her brother demanded the right "divorce", her brother barely got away with his. Regina suffered for many years before she was finally able to conspire, and was able to expose Kristoff's violation of the Turov's custom when he was having sexual relations with a vampire from the common bloodline, a lower class vampire that the Turov bloodline would not stand for. Even though Turov still constantly harasses and despises Regina to this day, he is no longer a part of her life. Her brother and Regina were able to start visiting the countries, breaking the vows they made to their vampire. Although their parents were not as disappointed as the other family members, they were still shunned most of the time or being begged to come back.

For decades, they traveled the world and lived from country to country, meeting other humans and creatures. At first it was difficult, having to move because of skeptical religious peoples always having a feeling that Regina and Vladislav were more then meets the eye. That was their biggest difficulty. But they still found friends, other vampires of every status to stay with for a few years before moving on and finding another human settlement to admire. Regina and Vladislav had to adjust their diets, only taking patrons of willing nature or finding tolerable substance among the animals in the world. But having to feed off of animals meant quite a few dead bodies at a time, and even if they weren't human, this still attracted a lot of attention that forced them to continue to relocate. But they still had time to learn different cultures and languages that really pays off for Regina in the present time.

Regina had been given the gift of flight. Able to put herself into the sky and move to places with speed was a gift. If she and Vladislav needed to make a quick get away, it wasn't that hard for her to grab onto him and soar them away from the danger at hand. Of course this was always done at the darkest of hours, for the panic it would have on the human race was something they both did not want. But as the world changed, things became easier. The world somehow began to adapt to the idea of supernatural beings coming into this world, and allowed them to move more freely and be more of themselves then anything. And the donors, it was incredible. When the human race finally came to it's senses, decades of living with her brother paid off when Vladislav, still having ties to his own bank account and having them both save up over many centuries from their own bloodline's bank and the courtesy of their parents who still loved them, Vladislav decided to settle down in New York City and open a night club. Many vampires were starting this trend, but Vladislav's club was quite popular, considering a pure blood owned it and the attributes were quite intense. They decided to name it Trance, and allow different creatures to make their way inside. Only willing mortals were to be fed on, and humans were given bracelets to signify what they wanted. Green meant feed off of me, it's fine, take me home even if you want to. Yellow meant I'm not sure if I want to be fed on, talk to me first. And Red meant no feeding, just talking. It became quite popular among the humans, and Vladislav made sure that these rules were enforced. But while he decided to go off and build another company that involved more clubs as well as a security corporate, he left Regina in charge of his most popular one in New York.

Regina, in present day, lives in an elaborate apartment currently paid off by her brother, where she sleeps during the day and goes to work as the manager at 'Trance" during the night time. Her life is pretty lively and wonderful, nothing bad is currently plaguing her and she finds herself happy to finally have a life where she is free to make her own choices and live wildly. Although she still receives messages from kin questioning her return and criticizing how the world has changed, she understands their fear and hopes they will come out of their ancient castles and old traditions soon enough. Although, her parents have started to adapt. She last heard they bought a modern styled mansion in Britain, moving away from the mother-ship of the Viske clan and were starting to become more in tune to the changes of the world.

So begins...

It's New York City, both a famous and infamous place, the capital of supernatural life in the United States.

The mundane and the magic bump into each other on the busy streets and even work together, however some mundanes are so threatened and fearful of the supernatural that they don't allow supernaturals into their shops, so much so that they even coat their doors in the repellants, such as silver and iron. Although this is illegal, ever since the Act of Supernatural Rights, this doesn't stop these business owners from doing so, however these crimes only merit a fine which most businesses cannery easily pay off.

The clubs tend to be alive with the supernatural, witches and vampires even mix the drinks in these clubs, with the witches magical brewing skills and the vampires speed and senses these bartenders tend to brew the best drinks in the city. Vampires will be dancing the stages and platforms around the DJ, whilst the witches cast illusions to provide the lighting and ambience of the clubs.

The parks are where you would usually find the werewolf packs, outside of their bars, most of the parks within the city are actually contained within the werewolf lock in communities. However, central park is the one park off limits to all supernatural except the fae, it is one of the fae safe zones in the entire world, it also were one of the major fae portals is situated.

Regina had finally found the shop. She had searched for an hour or so before venturing out in her UV protected car, the clouds covering the sun for a short while as she sped down the narrow and busy streets of New York. She pulled her leather jacket tighter around her skin, already feeling the slight burn from even being outside... vampires were extremely sensitive, and even the best protection sometimes wasn't enough to help. She sighed as she adjusted her heel on the pedal, impatiently trying to get around some slow moving van that she quickly swerved around and proceeded to take a right onto the next street while a taxi evaded her when turning to wide. She could be a pretty rough driver.

She pulled up in front of the shop, 'Magic Muffins.' She raised an eyebrow, looking down at her ipad for a moment before she took a deep breath and grabbed her leather studded purse. Her black skinny jeans probably didn't help the cause being outside but it still protected her skin better, and she used her quick feet to blur to the door and quickly run inside, almost slamming the door behind her as the skin on her face sizzled slightly and burned for a few moments before it healed.

She cleared her throat, trying to make sure she hadn't broken the door before she looked over to see a man in front of the counter and a woman behind it, exchanging a greeting as she smiled towards them and waited. She peered around the shop, her hands fidgeting and her fingers tapping along her thigh as she bit her lip and hoped the clouds would last a little longer. Although, maybe the potion, if she had one, would work right away and she wouldn't need to worry.

Sam stepped into the warm and inviting potion shop and bakery. A beautiful brunette stepped out of the back with a smile that refused to allow Sam do do anything but the same. He smiled back as he approached the counter.

"Hey, welcome to Magic Muffins, what can I getcha? We serve most baked goods and an awful lot of potions."

Sam's eyes flicked around the potion shop at her explanation of the small, cozy business. Jars lined the walls on well maintained shelves with all manner of potions, salves and tonics. Cupboards and racks upon racks displayed the host of ingredients they offered. Then there were the baked goods that Sam could only imagine contained some measure of magic to smell that good.

"Yeah, you have a great looking place here. I was wondering if you could help me with something."

Sam said casually as he fished his shopping list out of his pocket and handed it to the young woman behind the counter.

"I'm trying to put a spell together and I was told everything on this list was what I needed. Problem is the crimson nirnroot alone is nearly impossible to find."

Sam watched as her eyes carefully scanned the page. She knew her stuff, just judging by how casually she scanned the list of rare ingredients. He wondered if she'd question him on the spell. A normal tracking spell wasn't the easiest to piece together as is but trying to find someone as powerful as the person Sam was looking for required very specific and rare ingredients. Her eyes, piercing and blue as the ocean flicked back up to meet his when she was done reading. Sam couldn't help but stare for a moment. Damn, she's gorgeous. Sam thought to himself as the door behind him opened and another patron walked in out of the mid morning sun.

Rose smiled at his comment on the shop and nodded when he mentioned her helping him, she gently took the note from him and scanned the list, such ingredients where rare and he was right about crimson nirnroot, found in the depths of abandoned dwarves caves and crimson due to the lack of sunlight so there'd be no need to chloroplasts that are used to simply absorb sunlight during photosynthesis. Rose looked up into the customers face, whilst reading the list her smile had fallen slightly but when she looked back up at him, her smile returned slight, yet with a look of worry in her eyes.

"The reason Nirnroot is so impossible for you to find, is because a lot of witches won't sell it, due to it's poisonous qualities, it damages health and stamina as well as magic, so only witches with the specific licenses can sell the ingredient itself. Sadly, you won't find any of these witches in New York, however I do know a witch who has these ingredients and can brew a variation on this tracking spell."

The door opened again and Rose looked behind Sam with a smile, "Hi, I'll be with you in a few seconds." Rose looked back up at Sam, before looking down at the list again and gathering the ingredients. "Although I have to ask, this is a pretty powerful potion, especially since it's asking for the rare variants of common herbs, so what are you looking for?" Rose set the ingredients in front of her on the counter and grabbed her mortar and pestle from underneath the counter, as well as her ritual knife and cooking utensils. She very finely cut the ingredients, exactly as the recipe was like in the grimoire, luckily a family of witches and their grimoire all have like a linked memory when it comes to spells and recipes no need for reading it or moving it unless it is absolutely necessary.

Once finishing the potion, Rose grabbed an empty vial and carefully poured the contents of the cauldron into it, careful not to spill any down the side or directly between the two. "Now, that potion you will need to drip onto a map of whoever you are looking for and with each drip, you'll have to utter their name and truly think about them. Once it starts to move don't stop uttering the name or thinking about someone else or it will fail and the drips will scatter to several different places, making it near impossible to find them, I mean a few of these will fall off the map and find another map to pinpoint on. Only stop once the potion has completely honed in on a position dried in, after awhile the stain will spell out where they are or it is."

Rose's smile dipped a little, he didn't sound like a local and seemed to be searching for someone, she had a deep feeling she wouldn't see him again, not since she gave him what she wanted and he was now going to find this person, probably some girl he was already seeing, who he wanted to surprise, but Rose mentally slapped herself and smiled again, before watching him leave. Leaving just Rose and Regina,

"Hi, welcome to Magic Muffins, how may I help you?" Service with a smile and polite greeting goes along way, especially when an elder vampire enters your store, Rose could feel the energy pulsing from her, it was quite powerful.

Regina watched patiently, glancing down at one of her rashes on her knuckles and scratched violently at it while the witch helped the other customer. She then would scurry up to the counter, flipping her black hair from her back as she offered a sweet smile towards the woman. "I'm looking for a potion that will help protect me from the sun in midday. I normally wouldn't venture out at all, but my job requires some day activity that I just can't get away from. So if you have a potion like this in large quantities..." She trailed off, smiling, sure the woman got the gist as she set her purse up onto the counter before looking back up at her. "I also have been looking for a witch here in New York. I've heard she is supposed to enchant rings to help vampires in the sun, but I haven't been able to locate her. Apparently, she buries herself pretty far under the radar, although I can't imagine why." Regina rambled on, rummaging through her purse to pull out her wallet.

Regina pulled out a couple hundred dollar bills from her wallet. Of course she made quite a bit of money from being a manager to one of the most popular clubs in New York, let alone the United States. She looked up at the witch again, offering a smile as she waited for some sort of response to her request and her question, and starting itching her rash again violently. "And if you have any... potions for sun rashes..." she added, wincing as she went all out, ripping into her own skin a bit as she gritted her teeth and continued to scratch, growing increasingly frustrated with the idea of the sun. Blast it and it's properties, stupid star.

Rose smiled with a nod to the vampire, "I can imagine that being a bother, especially for the manager of one of the most popular clubs." Rose hummed a little laugh as a slight look a surprise flashed over her face for a few seconds. "Yeah, I know who you are. We make it a job to recognise and know most, if not all the vampires we share a city with. Some are easier than others, you run a popular club, you were easier than most.

Rose rolled her eyes with a smile to Regina lifting her purse onto the counter, she moved over to the simple potions rack, she had to keep simple potions for the vampires due to their inability to eat food. She lifted down a vial with a liquid that seemed to swirl with three colours, yellow, black and red, after inspecting it carefully, she nodded and went into the back for a second. Taking a key, with several inscriptions and runes carved into it, from her pocket and used it to opened a small vault in the back with small selection of enchanted objects.

Rose sucked through her teeth, as she searched for an enchanted decanter and clicked her tongue when she found it, she inspected the decanter for any cracks or damages to it as she walked back into the shop. "This may be a bit pricey, but I don't have the resources to make that kind of order. This is a vial, enchanted to replicated any liquid that is dripped into it, a single drop will do. However, it's a very rare enchantment and my mother won't allow us to share it, but she will sell it for a high price of… of $7,500."

Rose flinched slightly when Regina mentioned the enchanter, she was pretty close to Rose and the witch was on the run ever since she created a ring infused with the powers of a necromancer, allowing anyone to use the powers of the death mages, she only granted her location and services to a select few. "She's in a spot of danger, so long as you vow not to hurt her, tell or lead anyone to where she is."

"The fault was mine. I have a tendency to take people by surprise." The dark haired woman said, she looked at him oddly and made Charlie feel a bit uncomfortable, as if he didn't have enough to worry about. [color=darkblue] "If you'll excuse me, I have an errand to attend to.." She said and sort sidestepped him, as if avoiding touching him or turning her back to him. "Ookay, well...um, yeah..." He said before walking passed her, shoving his hands in his pockets and decided, he was gonna check out some stores. He noticed one called Magic Muffins and snickered. He shrugged and stepped inside. The bell rang, alerting his entrance. He looked around idly, and shrugged, he had been considering getting a job since his folks died, and this place, looked like just the quiet, not much work-but enough work to get him out of the house type of job he was looking for. It had potions and baked goods. He didn't really know much by the way of supernaturals, but he read alot, and he was a quick study, He decided to ask the lovely woman at the counter for a job.

He cleared his throat, to get her attention away from the people she was talking to. "Excuse me, Um, Ma'am?"He said, rubbing the back of his neck, uncomfortably.

Rose gave a nervous smile to Regina, she could feel the irritation at the price of the decanter but it was a very rare and valuable artifact, the runes were ones no normal enchantress could even think to copy the runes. Rose clicked her tongue when Regina agreed not to hurt her friend and even offered to help protect her.

”Oh, you won’t need to worry about protecting her, once you leave her house you won’t even remember what you were there for and who was even in it. She has runes surrounding the house, you won’t even get near if you wanna hurt her."

As Rose was about to start the incantation and then tell Regina of the witch’s address but then the bell above the door jingled and Rose looked over Regina’s shoulder, a teen with shaggy brown hair and deep brown eyes stood there

"Excuse me, Um, Ma'am?" , she slightly recognized the boys face but what she remembered was a photo from years ago. Rose looked back to Regina and shrugged.

”Sorry, this shouldn’t take too long and I can’t perform the vow or tell you about Wilma’s address unless we’re alone.” Rose stepped out from behind the counter and went up to the teen. ”Hey, Michaelson? Isn’t it? You don’t know me, but I know your gran… well my mother knows her and your mum. I’ve seen a few photos of you when they visited. But as far as jobs go, I’m sure I can find you something to do, around here, it is only me and it can get quite busy sometimes.”

Charlie was thoroughly confused. She knows of him? His grandmother and mother? That was odd, he didn't know her, she was really pretty he was fairly certain he'd remember her, stranger still, she knew what he was going to ask, and said yes. He smirked.

When she knew random things, it was cool, when his grandmother did it, it was just plain creepy.

"Uh, Alright, cool." He said rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm Charles--er Charlie, call me Charlie, Thanks for the um, job?" He said and removed his jacket and tied the sleeves around his waist. "What do you need to me to do, I'm good with like restocking supplies.." he said and finally took a look at what this store actually was. It was one of those witchy places with all the herbs and potions and stuff, his mother used to come to places like this, he's used to tag along....maybe that's how she knew him. He frowned a bit and shook away the thoughts as the dark feeling began to grow again. He turned his attention, or at least half of his attention to the woman, and held out his hand for her to shake.

"Uh, Alright, cool. I'm Charles--er Charlie, call me Charlie, Thanks for the um, job? What do you need to me to do, I'm good with like restocking supplies.." Rose smiled at Charlie, she found it refreshing he wanted to work,but it made her left eyebrow lift curiously and her to smile to spread.

”You're eager to work, aren't you?" She chuckled slightly, before looking over at Regina. ”Well, I just need to finish up with this customer and then I can give you an actual task, besides just bringing some ingredients out to the front and putting them on the shelves."

Rose smiled at Charlie, she hadn't even realised she'd picked up on his reason for being there and when she finally did, it caused a slight blush to form over her cheeks, a lot of people hated it when a witch pried into their mind and Rose hated doing it too.

”Sorry, I know some people hate the telepathy, it's one of our passive senses, some of us don't really notice we're doing it."

”You're eager to work, aren't you?" She said and Charlie shrugged. He was trying his best to avoid school, and his grandmother, and distract himself from whatever was following him so yes, he really was.
”Well, I just need to finish up with this customer and then I can give you an actual task, besides just bringing some ingredients out to the front and putting them on the shelves."

"Alright, I can do that." He said with a simple shrug.

”Sorry, I know some people hate the telepathy, it's one of our passive senses, some of us don't really notice we're doing it." She said after blushing and Charlie cleared his throat. "It's cool, my grandmother does it all the time....It's less creepy when you do it, like a lot less," He said and smirked, with a small blush of his own.
He rubbed his nose and pointed to the back. "Just tell me what you need, Boss, I'm assuming everything's back there?" He said changing the subject as he started toward the back.
