The Basics

Full Name: Boaz Ari Priestly
Age: 20
Birthdate: January 7th
Gender: Male
Godly Parent: Hades

Appearance: Priestly stands at about 5'11" and weighs in at around 185lbs. of pure muscle. He is always very easy to pick out of a crowd to say the least. He oddly shaped lamb chop side burns along with a pincer beard. He usually has many different piercings though out his face. Where there's a place on you face you can get a piercing, Priestly has got one there. He never has them all in at once, he likes to switch it around every day or so. Priestly always seems to have a thin layer of black eyeliner on. His hair is always a different color and style every few days put his usual is a Mohawk and he always chooses between red, blue and green, He also occasionally mixes them. His normal hair color is a light brown. His eyes are a mint green and his skin is nice and bronzed.

Priestly has several tattoos scattered across his body, but none of them correlate. He has an interesting looking tribal tattoo on the left side of his neck. Down his left forearm is a number of Japanese characters, the meaning unknown. On his right forearm is a double headed spear. On his right bicep is a tattoo of Daffy Duck and on his left bicep is the head of a black bull. In an ancient looking font in an arc across his stomach is the word "Ekphora" which means funeral procession in ancient Greek. Across his right hand knuckles is the word "Love" one letter on each finger. The other hand says "RMan" as a reference to his nickname. In between his shoulder blades in the renaissance font are the words "Renaissance Man". Below that, is an incredibly large Ankh with moonlight coming from behind it. Below it is a banner that reads "Syncho̱rí̱ste me ta Archaía."

Priestly dresses very oddly. He is usually wearing two black cord bracelet's on each wrist. He wears tons of different odd graphic tees. Some saying things like "Save a Tree, Eat a Beaver." and other odd jokes and sayings. They are usually offensive on different levels. He also wears black jeans tucked into black combat boots. If he's feeling especially gun-ho, he might wear a kilt.

Priestly is....well, Priestly. There really isn't anyone else like him. He is the epitome of a smart ass and loves sarcasm to a point of constant annoyance of his "co-workers'. He is very odd and erratic, you never really know what he's going to say next. He has absolutely no social fears and it seems impossible for him to be embarrassed. He might just walk into a meeting and before he steps fully in the door, he might do a little dance. Priestly does what he wants, where he wants and when he wants to do it. Priestly is very out spoken and seems to say things bluntly and doesn't really wait to think if it might hurt somebodies feelings. No matter how tough or scary a situation gets, Priestly will not lose his smile and his ever bombarding humor. Priestly is very witty and never really turns that part of himself off.

Always the prideful creature, whether it comes to just his ideals or people that he respects he can’t see wrong in feeling the way he does about them. Priestly behaves like he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread; he carries that ego in his posture as well as in the bridge of his shoulders and is so open about it that it's become very evident. Yet, he doesn't act superior to anyone, he's just awesome and knows it. He’s no stranger to what he’s done for everyone and everything and even though the aftermath has dropped this pig headedness down a great degree, it’s still there and true. He's learned to value himself as a person despite the scorn that he has for his mistakes. Priestly has a knack for making a crude comment or sardonic joke in the midst of a tense or emotionally stressful situation. While some might contribute this to immaturity in many ways it’s a coping mechanism. Sin doesn’t have time to take every heavy psychological blow that’s thrown at him and instead of allowing it he’ll turn it into a joke to make it easier for himself to deal with. He does this fairly often, despite circumstance, and it’s gotten to be a regular part of his personality.

It's not obvious at all or ever admitted but Priestly is very insecure, not just about himself, and not about anything physical…oddly enough, but more so emotionally. Behind all the wit and sarcasm is a man who can't cope with himself. He uses humor as a defense mechanism to suppress any of his other emotions. A lot of people just think Priestly isn't afraid to be himself, when in truth, he hates himself so he dresses up as someone different so it's easier to isolate himself. When he looks in the mirror he hates what he sees. He never voices any of this and no one seems to ever pick up on it.

Outwardly, he may appear almost vainglorious in his reactions to people and things. Inwardly, this certainly isn’t the case. Sin is genuine in what he does and says despite the fact that he tries to shroud this part of himself away. It's with cocky superiority and incandescent sarcasm that he keeps the real struggle with who he is, and his trials and tribulations well hidden. He's always been good about keeping himself calm in the face of danger or distress. Throughout his experience with them he’s learned indefinitely to treat them with a placid recognition. He’s calm, smooth talking, deliberate in everything that he does in these circumstances and in many ways it helps him carry on through them. He doesn’t lose his head as easily and he’s better about accepting the ammunition that’s thrown at him when he’s involved in them. On that same note, Priestly can’t be shot down when it comes to being involved in such an issue or situation. He’s head strong, strong willed, and determined. He can’t be diverted from what he’s doing and he won’t stop with it until he’s reached his goals and the priorities he had for what he’s dealing with. It's nearly impossible to coerce Priestly away from something he’s actively participating in. He's never liked leaving things hanging.

Also, he has never told anyone what his first name is. When people ask he says, "Just call me Priestly."

Similarites to Their Godly Parent:.....None. He doesn't really share any similarities to his parent. Well, one. Both Hades and Priestly are self loathing and always feel alone and they both were masks to hide themselves. Hades's is one of a cold stare and Priestly's is one of fake self expression. In actuality, both of them are rather.......depressing.

History

(small, maybe 1-2 line paragraphs for both of the categories)

First Memory: Baba Riley blasting inside his mothers car.
Relationship with Mortal Parent: He has an insanely good relationship with his mother. She would have gone insane without him. They are each others best friends and they talk for hours on end whenever they can.

Priestly was born to a flower child of the sixties by the name of Zaneta Priestly. He was her first child, but not her last. Zaneta originally never that of having children and thought it was a vain institution of making a carbon copy of yourself. That was until she had Boaz. She named him Boaz after the controversial Renaissance writer of the same name. Boaz's father, who had stayed with his mother all the way through her pregnancy, unfortunately died the day of his sons birth. Feeling that she had been wrong about having children, she started to have many more by the time Priestly was 8. He ended up helping his mom raise 5 other kids all out of wedlock, all with guys who never stuck around.. He was always the big brother and was always responsible for making sure they were all safe and happy. He started to feel after a time like a robot so he started making an identity for himself by dressing up oddly and behaving different. His friends at school ended up nicknaming him "Renaissance Man" due to his name and the fact that he quotes the writer constantly.

By the time he hit high school, he didn't really feel like he was alive. He couldn't even hang out with people after school or during the weekends. He would always have to come home and take care of the kids. He had no social life and very little actual friends. A lot of people knew him and liked him, but never really hung out with him outside of school. He was always just that cool weird guy that everybody liked. The kids could only really rely on him, sure his mom was a great friend, but an absolutely shitty mom. Sometimes the kids would fight right in front of her but she wouldn't do anything, so Priestly is the one who raised his siblings.

One day, their dog Bonnie got hit by a car. All of his siblings were crying and Priestly knew he had to get her out of there for the sake of the kids. So he grabbed a tarp from inside and wrapped her with it. He petted her one last time, and he felt an odd spike of emotion happen. The next moment, Bonnie had fought her way out of the tarp and was jumping around like nothing had ever happened. Needless to say the kids were ecstatic but his mother and him were horrified. Neither of them had any idea what was going on. He dropped out of school because of mental exhaustion and just stayed home until he could figure out what was going on.

A week later, a man came to the door. Priestly recognized the man from his mothers photos, it was his father. But, he was supposed to be dead. He explained that he had faked his death because he couldn't come to tell his mother the truth about who he was. He told him that he was Hades and that Priestly was a demi-god. His father told him of Olympus Academy and that they could help him there. Hades used his influence to make sure a nanny visited his house 5 times a week to help his mom with the kids and then, he was off. He entered Olympus Academy when he was 17 years old.[/center]

Malcolm Murdock

Malcolm was crouched down in some brush, looking at tracks in the dirt. He examined them closer, then started following them, remembering to keep low. Gregis followed closely behind, in a dog crouching position. He had been following these tracks for awhile, he had actually caught a brace of rabbits which he had hanging from his belt while trying to find the bigger game. It had been a few hours since he had been woken up by Gregis' alarm tongue. Every morning without fail, that dog gets him up at the same time, no matter the method. Malcolm was musing over this in his head, when he realized the tracks had stopped at a tree. "What the hell...?" How in the world could something as big as he was tracking disappear up a tree. He then looked at the tree. The sides of it had been whittled down to it's inner rings. It was marking it's territory. Calydonian boars were very dangerous and it was bad having one this close to the academy. He looked closer at the ground to see if he could find any more tracks, but then noticed something odd. The dirt had been shifted apart, almost like something had been dragged. He followed the dragged marks until he came upon the corpse of a gored stag. "The boar must have caught the sag on it's tusk without realizing it. Poor guy." He said silently to himself. He then noticed the tracks starting to pick up. He looked over at Gregis and they nodded at each other.

He had followed the tracks for another fifteen minutes before he noticed all of the trees around the perimeter had been marked. This was now it's territory. Malcolm stopped and thought for a moment, he then looked over to Gregis. "Well, we now know were it is and it's far away enough from the academy to not cause any trouble, let's go back, eh boy?" Gregis simply gave an agreeing bark.

It took him another hour to get back to the school grounds through the forest. He had been up since 5 hunting and it seems the sun was up and shining now. As he walked back on campus, he gave himself a smell. "Whoa." was all he said. He looked down at his outfit. It was a simple white undershirt and camo pants with hiking boots. Not to mention three rabbits strapped to his belt. He looked and smelled odd. He looked over to his dog with a glint in his eye. "Hey, let's cool off. Race you to the lake!" Malcolm said, quickly turning his spear around so he wouldn't gore anyone while running. Gregis smiled a dog smile and ran after him.

It didn't take long for Gregis to pass Malcolm and gallop way ahead of him. He got to the lake minutes before Malcolm. As he came upon the lake he saw Chloe and Chance. He then jumped into the water, dog paddling up to Chloe and Chance, a massive dog grin on his face.

Malcolm was there about a minute later. He jogged up to the trio, not even remotely out of breath. He stopped at the shore and stuck his spear into the ground and hung his rabbits on it. "Surprise, surprise. You beat me again buddy." Malcolm said with a smile on his face. The dog simply barked in agreement. He then looked to the three and greeted. "Hey, morning Chance! Good morning Chloe!" He said with his usual chipper attitude. He then took off his shoes and socks, then his shirt. He then ran and dove into the water. He then resurfaced a few moments later, tossing his hair about. "Damn! That feels good." He then turned to the twp. "So, how you guys doing?" he asked sincerely.

Boaz Priestly

It was dark. Really dark. Blackout curtains had been nailed into the wall completely covering the only window in the small dorm room. On the bed, lay a 19 year old man with wild green and brown hair. He lay there only in a pair of Led Zeppelin boxer-briefs, eyes wide open. He had been awake for about forty five minutes now and he had not felt like moving. He felt like skipping class today. No one would care. No one at this school wanted him there, not even the teachers. It seemed like almost the entire school hated him and shunned him without even getting to know him. Most were scared of him. Maybe he would give them a day of relief and just not show up. Everyone hated him and he did not know why......nor did he care. "Wow.......getting hit hard with morning apathy today." said his voice ringing out into the darkness. He always got like this during the morning.....or when he was hungry. He then heard a noise come from his stomach. "Yeah, definitely hungry." He said to himself. He still had some food in his room.....so that didn't help his case for going to class. He looked over at his bed side table and grasped at the darkness for his phone. He checked it, no messages. He simply sighed.

His eyes then perked up for a moment. He remembered there was someone he could text. He checked the time. Actually, class hadn't started for her yet, he would call her. Normally he would feel awkward calling her, but morning apathy had got him bad today. He sifted through his short contact list and found Rhea's number. He pressed send and heard it beginning to ring. He then heard it pick up. "Hey, It's Priestly. Are you in Keating's class yet? And if you are, on a scale of G.I.R. to Scrooge, how grumpy is he today?"

Rhea Xior

Rhea cracked her neck for a moment, realizing that her desk had been placed in a corner for whatever Keating had been preparing for, "I take it that you're planning on ravishing the ball tonight, then? All decked out in a lavish gown, birds flittering by your sides and placing a tiara on your head? Everything hot pink, no less." she chuckled at the comment, taking it as Keating's normal type of sarcasm. She put her hands on her hips, as if imitating a worrisome mother. "Now Keating, you know that not even someone like you can go to the dance without a date." she winked at him for a second. "I see how you look at Ms.McCarty, Keat. So...when are you gon-" just in the nick of time Amarie herself appeared, Rhea hadn't had much of a problem with her, and she felt Keat would hate her if she did, though its not as if they were on the best of terms, when it came to Rhea, who was? She mumbled a 'Hello' to Amarie when she greeted her, and left the teachers to talking, she was surprised at the lack of students in the room, and the bewilderness she felt standing there, watching Amarie and Keat, kissing each others asses. She shuddered for a moment, hoping that she wouldn't be like that when she was older. Not even minutes passed by, and Fion, the gym teacher came busting in, torturing Boone and his social abilities, despite his arrival scaring the hell out of Rhea, she laughed. The morning had certainly brought along it excitement. Amarie had started to complain of Fion's presence and so did Boone, she started with her haughty-taughty way of speach which always annoyed Rhea. and Fion reveling in the short simple moments of life like he always was, he had a thing for being on the edge, Rhea admired that. In the middle of staring at the professors, her phone had started to ring, she answered it, already knowing who was going to be on the receiving end. "Morning Preist..." she said, her tone of voice loving, instead of the clever, and superficial tone she took with everyone else. "Hey, It's Priestly. Are you in Keating's class yet? And if you are, on a scale of G.I.R. to Scrooge, how grumpy is he today?"

She giggled before answering him. 'I'd say Scrooge, now that Fion walked in..." she took note of the situation as Amarie left to do her Amarie business, 'Hey, you heard about the dance, right? So who do you plan on going with?..."

Ezekiel Row

Zeke swished the spoon he had in his mouth, trying get as much cinnamon as he could off of the spoon from the oatmeal, that he had quickly devoured, he looked down for a moment, and found Everlie standing in front of him, he nearly chocked on the very spoon he was licking on. Ever since that day in Power Control class, talking to Everlie had become a problem, now that he was afraid of hurting her, even though the last time he hadn't purposefully done it. "H-hey!..." he turned back into his usual charming self, not letting the past get in the way of what was happening at this very moment. "I was just so, so hungry, that I didn't even think about sitting down..." he pointed to his stomach overexagerating the gesture of hunger, by folding over and then laughing as he did so. 'You look really nice today, Everlie, I mean really..I woke up this morning not even knowing where I was..." he smiled warmly at her, then the nagging feeling of the dance seemed to skip across his mind, his eyes suddenly brightened up, it was perfect to ask Everlie, I mean...as friends at least, he had to try something. "Um...Everlie....would you...would you...um..."

"C'mon Zeke grow some balls, I've done more dangerous stuff than this..." The little hamster wheel in his brain had suddenly stopped working, as he stared at Everlie, trying to find the words to perfectly grasp the situation. He closed his eyes and calmed himself. "It'd be really great if we went to the dance together...I mean- just as friends! Or unless someone already asked you, I mean there are many guys who would love to go with you I'm sure, just try to take it into consideration...and-" Zeke began to ramble on, unable to stop due to the thoughts and embarrasment leaking from his mind. Simply put, asking Everlie to go to the dance was almost unreal.

Cale Anderson

Taking a few slow steps towards his door, Cale pointed his bushel of dark hair out into the hallway, he could tell he was late for History, but he hoped that Hensleigh would understand, it was his way of doing things. He stepped out of his room fulled dressed, and prepared to go to his next class, he propped his bookbag over his shoulder, and then made his way across the corridor, he stopped near Lukas's room with his door slightly open, as far as Cale knew Lukas had been depressed ever since Cale first came here, something about a girlfriend, Cale could never understand that type of attachment, honestly, he tried to sympathize, but he could not inherit Lukas's emotions, it was something he was going to need to get over one way or another. He walked ahead, not even taking the time to peer in, he needed to get to class quickly as he walked in a fast pace down the hallway. His walk slowed as he came across Mr.Vincent's classroom, he hadn't even walked in, and he was already blushing like mad. He stepped slowly towards the door, as to bring any attention to his presence. He was too nervous to actually say anything, and what could he say? "Hey I'm Cale Anderson, and I like you..." he shook his head in denial, and took the courage just to greet him. "H-hey..um good morning ...." he said quietly, he leaned on the door with his bookbag now clutched to his chest.

Malcolm Murdock

Malcolm floated peacefully in the water, rather content with the world at the moment. He dunked his head under water and rubbed his hair for a bit to make it clean. He then back up to the smiling faces of Chance and Chloe. Chloe said good morning to him, but she seemed quieter than usual. He might have thought something wrong, but she had a massive grin on her face. Chance then responded to his previous question. "Good morning Malcolm, I'm mighty fine after Chloe here helped me out." Chance responded in his usual way. "Glad to hear it, Chance." He then turned to Chloe. "That sounds just like you Chloe, always helping out a friend in need." Chance then spoke again. "How are you doing Malcolm? I heard about Emilee leaving." The question echoed in his head for a moment. His expression seemed to darken for a few moments. He had tried not to think about it. They had been best friends so long, they had spent almost every waking moment together. They always pushed each other to their very best in everything. He trusted her completely and could tell her anything. And she had left him.....but hen he remembered why she had left. A smile soon grew on his face. "I'm doing alright. I'm sad that she left and all but......she left for a good reason. She's out in the world using her gifts for great things and she's going to help a lot of people. I am so........impossibly proud to say that I am her friend. Soon everyone will see her like I see her....and she deserves that more than anyone else." he said with sincerity in his voice. he then dove under the water again and swam up to the shore.

He walked on the bank then plopped down on the grass, allowing the sun to dry him. Gregis followed in suit and trotted onto the shore, then shook himself dry, splashing everyone in a 30 ft. radius. "Nice, boy. Now I'm going to smell like wet dog for the rest of the day." Malcolm said to his dog, smile still on his face. Gregis then walked over to him and licked his face. "Hahaha! I love you too, boy." Malcolm patted his best friend on his head and rubbed his face. He then turned towards towards Chance and Chloe. They had always reminded Malcolm of him and Emilee. Two best friends standing side by side against the world. Accepting each others flaws with a smile on their faces and love in their hearts. He couldn't help but smile when he looked at them. It got him thinking about Emilee....which then reminded him what today was. He called out to Chance and Chloe. "So, what are you guys going to do about the Ball tonight? I don't know about you guys, but with Emilee gone, I'm screwed. We'd always go together, but now I have to find someone desperate enough to go with me." he halved laughed at himself about the last part. Normally, he just wouldn't go, but Emilee always told him he should go to these things. So he would keep a stiff upper lip......but he still had no idea what he was going to do. He'd ask Chloe to go with him as friends, but she's probably already going with Chance or someone else. He'd ask Everlie to go as friends if it wasn't for Zeke's big crush on her. He'd never do that to his little brother. He was in a pickle.

Boaz Priestly

"Hey Priest." Damn it was good to hear her voice. He couldn't ask for anything more first waking up in the morning. He wished he had Keating's class at the same time she did. But alas, the universe was a cruel......genderless form of authority. He laughed when he heard what she said next. "I'd say Scrooge, now that Fion walked in..." He could hear his bellowing voice all the way through the phone. "Uh-oh. It sounds like Atreus is in the same mood he's always been in. I bet he came out of his mom's uterus with a beard and spanked the doctor on the ass and said 'Good delivery, my friend!'" he chuckled a bit at himself. His voice still sounded a little quiet since he had just woken up, but there was still his usual energy in it. He stopped laughing when Rhea spoke. "Hey, you heard about the dance, right? So who do you plan on going with?..." Fuck. She actually wanted to go to the dance? He thought they would use the opportunity of everyone at one place to sneak off and have some fun. But she wanted go......which meant he was fucked. He had a tux and all but....then they would be in public. Essentially telling the world they were dating. Which, he didn't mind at all, but he worried about Rhea.......and Cadence. What was he thinking? Like Cadence would ever go to the dance. Still, there was the whole thing of the school kind of either hating him or being afraid of him. But, Rhea was a girl and shit like dances meant a lot to them.

There was a pause before he answered. "I was thinking about going with my Union Jack electric guitar, the one that Pete Townshend signed. I have more love for that than any of my other inanimate objects. Heheheh." he gave a small laugh at the end of his sentence, just so she knew he was joking. Another pause. "Honestly, I wasn't planning on going and I didn't think you wanted to go." Another pause. He thought long and hard. "Give me an hour." Was all he said and then he hung up. He sat up in the darkness of his room and looked around. He fumbled his way to his laptop and grabbed his acoustic as well. He then began browsing the internet for chords and lyrics.

Amarie McCarty

Whilst fingering around with the last bit of the festive decor, Amarie heard a voice infiltrating her ears. When moved her head to peer over a shoulder, she wasn't really all that surprised to see who that question belonged to. "So, going to the ball tonight?" he had asked, and take it how you will, maybe the woman was far too daft to tell anything from his carless play of words. She merely thought it to be nothing more than friendly conversation, and was completely oblivious to just why Boone seemed to hate him. In school, she had always though Brendon surely had a handsome face, but he wasn't really her type of man. A man, yes he was, to the coils of muscle and everything, but not like Boone. He was all of that and more than just all surface work, unlike Myers who only had his physical looks to appeal to any person of the fairer sex. There was just something about Boone that had her swooning all over him like some typical teenager - an easiness about him, even though he was, more often than not, such a turbulant man. She hadn't amde her affections known to soon, though, even after she was given a teaching position. At one point, she came to know his disdain for Aphrodite women, so she hadn't known that he may have had an inkling of a feeling for her. It did not matter, though, for when she came up to him one day and spilled it all, he was a nervous wreck. It was totally cute. With Brendon, she would be little more than a trophy prize. Amarie did not want to collect dust upon a shelf after the romance weathered a little.

"Why, yes I am. All of us will be. It's called baby-sitting, yes?" It sounded like a snarky reply, but her tone was affable and warm. There was nothing, as far as she could tell, that warranted nastiness. "Hopefully I can get some alone time with Boone, seeing as I haven't been around him much these last few days. He doesn't seem to be having the best of time lately. Not that it is anything of surprise to me."

Turning around fully, once she completed her own little piece to help out with the ball, she gave the son of Zeus the attention that he wanted from her, "How about you? Taking anyone special?" It was just conversation, and something that she could use right now from a good friend of hers. Placing a hand on her hip, she waited patiently for his answer. She did not expect much of one, but she thought she would ask anyway.

There was just one thing that she couldn't help but notice, and that was the fact that he was always around her when Boone was not, and only when Boone was absent. Shaking her head quickly, she did not think it possible that a friend would do something so terribly vile. It was just hard to believe in something like that. With her mind stressing over her father, she really couldn't be able to pick up the signs that there may be more than one person trying to ruin this chance for her. Chloe was probably plotting in her room about how many different ways she could rip the teacher away from Keating. It was natural, she supposed, for people to just be intolerable. Chloe was just a brat, too.

Cadence Rockwell

Honestly, Cadence wouldn't care if Rhea was after Priestly. All the more power to her, and she liked the girl. If anyone was good enough for an offspring of Hades, it would be Rhea. She might be the only female that could tolerate his blatant uniqueness. Whatever, though, Cadence didn't really know for sure. Suspicious maybe, but who was she to dapple in someone else's love life? Exactly. If the two were madly in love, which was a disgusting thought (love she means), then she was perfectly okay with it.

Then in walked her half-sister, Niamh Sanders, who was basically more like another personality similar to her own. They would certainly have their fun times. When she uttered her snarky remark to Peter, "Is there a problem, Mahony? Just that I couldn’t help but notice a look of distain directed towards my sis Cadence as I came in.” Cadence turned her head and flashed Niamh that classic devious grin that she was so fond of. That usually meant that she was going to be up to no good. Well, most of the time.

With a smile, and that unrelenting swagger of a badass bitch, she switched desks. This time, she let her bottom fall on a chair right next to Peter. Scooting her chair even closer to him, her eyes moving to witness the expression that lit his face, she furthered her sister's statement, "Yes, Peter, is there something wrong, you devil you?" Cadence ensured that she would incite discomfort in her closeness, bringing herself to nearly mush him. She would allow him to get up if he wanted to move, but for now, she could at least have a little bit of fun with the son of Hermes. He was, without a doubt, cute in his own little....... cute way. "What's wrong, Peter, you don't like me?" she frowned slightly, not really knowing the truth about what he thought of her.

Nor did she care. Out of the corner of her eyes, she would allow Niamh to help gang up on the poor boy if she so wished. There was one thing to be said about one Hade's daughter picking on you, but it was a totally different story with two.

Rhea Xior

Preistly, always had a way with avoiding uncomfortable topics, but hell, Rhea had her ways too. She just wanted to see if he was attending at all, and he would be stuck worrying way too much, about taking her, she couldn't care less if they went skinny dipping in the lakw during the dance. Just the thought of being close to somebody tonight, made everything alright. She would tell Preistly that in an hour, she found herself blushing at the small Blackberry. "Would Priestly be crazy enough to go skinny dipping with her?.." the complexities of the relationship was built on the fact that both of them were people, your parents warned you about, and were told to stay away from. Purely outcasts. Rhea wasn't admitted that they were totally made out for each other, after all if they were afraid to take the next step and tell her peers, then maybe they weren't, though the Academy would seem so mundane without him, seeing as Rhea had nothing to actually get back to, Priestly was basically keeping her emotional net up, an she hoped she was doing the same for him. She thought about texting him back again, but feared having her cellphone being taken away by Keating, who was fuming this morning. It was pretty obvious he had those awkward social problems, which was replaced by his usual snarkiness, Rhea found herself laughing at the situation, "How in the world does he operate like this?.." she thought to herself. She turned back to the students, and Boones who had finally straightened the mess his classroom had just been, so much had happened that Rhea hadn't even noticed the people who strolled in. While closing down her phone, she waved a hello to Peter, who was probably busy ,making Candence swoon, he wasn't known for subtle flirtation. She put her phone back into one of the smaller pockets on her book bag, sighed, crossed her arm, and waited for Boone to do some flips. Then Meyers showed up to mock him, or maybe Boone liked to imagine that he was. His reply, wasn't exactly a polite reaction. "Fuck you!" Rhea was expecting Boone to show out for all the stress the other teachers put on him, his social life needed a spark anyway, but she knew there was an obvious tension between him and Meyers. Rhea usually didn't absorb the feelings of others, but Meyers wasn't a teacher that she liked, and maybe, just maybe it had something to do with the way he fucked with Boone's head. As far as Rhea could tell, Amarie seemed like Boone's ladder, and Meyer did everything in his power to stop him from climbing, if anyone could understand the example. That in turn, made her loathe his presence and see him as a idiot. Someone to be avoided, Rhea may have disliked most people she met, but she couldn't stand people whose main goal was to make living worse for others.

She looked over at Boone her eyes filled with worry, walking towards him she meant to see if he was stable, no one wants an angry teacher at the beginning of class. "Hey, are you okay? Don't worry about him, he doesn't have anything on you, I'm pretty sure whatever is going on between the both of you can be settled. " it was one of the few moments that Rhea decided to be tender instead of cold and distant.

Ezekiel Row

Free as a bird, and letting the depressing thoughts escape his mind, Zeke would have fall into a trap if he wasn't so stuck in the last few moments. "Well lets just go there right now.." Zeke had a tendency to get the hiccups whenever he was excited for something major, he could feel his chest bursting. He led Everlie by her hand, her single, soft hand, he had memorized its texture, considered his were more calloused from the years of rough housing. He led her into the main corridor where most of the classes were, and Boones, just around the corner. He peeked in with one eye, seeing now that Keating was probably starting his first lesson, he opened the door, letting Everlie walk in before him, as gentlemanly as he could.

(Yeah this is pretty much the whole post, Zeke doesn't have much to say >.<)

Cale put down the cookie he was eating, when he saw Phoebe, depressed. "That's not right he thought to himself. "Phoebe what's wrong?" that was the first time Cale had actually heard the srong part of his voice, most of the time it was meek, and barely audible, almost as if he was whispering to himself, but this time the fact that Phobe had seemed deflated in her mood so quickly, propelled him. "Did someone do something?.." he peered over at Gabe who seemed to have the same thoughts, by his expressions. [i]"What is wrong with Phoebe? Of all the powers I could have had, why did it have to be intelligence?."[/b]

Malcolm Murdock

Malcolm regained his smile when Chloe got out of the water and sat down next to him. Something was off about her, though. She seemed to move through the water like it was sludge, like she didn't belong in it. That was definitely a first for Malcolm. Still, she looked a little sad when she sat next to him. She stretched herself out on the bank. Malcolm laid back a bit on his hands and looked at her. She spoke, "No, that really happened. A blonde Emilee just hugged you, spoke to you, and ran off." Malcolm chuckled a bit. "Good, I thought I was going nuts for a second." She then looked over to him. "She didn't stick around long though, did she? Are you two going to catch up at the ball tonight? I mean, you always go together." Malcolm smiled at Chloe. "She left to go find her brother. She told me to save her a dance, but she wants me to ask someone to the dance. She's always trying to push me into things like that.......she's a good friend." He said with a smile on his face. He leaned back and put his hands behind his head and looked up at the beautiful blue sky. Not even Emilee wanted to go to the dance with him. Well, it was more she wanted him to be more outgoing with girls, but he was never sure where to begin.

He then heard Emilee's words echoing in his head. He looked over at Chloe, and realized how beautiful she looked against the blue background that was the sky. Well.....Chloe is a good friend of his and a girl. She's probably already going to the dance with Chance.......but he had to start somewhere. Besides, if she agreed, he knew they would have a great time. he sat up fully and turned to fully face her. "Hey Chloe........I was wondering." Why was it so hot out? "Feel free to say no to this.....but um.." Why is this so hard!? Focus, you've talked to her a million times about weirder things. Man up, it's just a dance! Malcolm took a deep breath. "Would you like to go to the dance with me?" A weight lifted off of his shoulders the minute he said it. His eyes seemed brighter and his smile warmer.

Boaz Priestly

Priestly looked over the chords he had written and along with the lyrics. "Fuck........this is kinda cheesy......yet awesome. Like me." He smiled and then looked up and saw his reflection in his bathroom mirror. The light of his laptop did not do him any good, he looked like shit. It was about time he got ready for the day. He walked over to the wall.....well, more like stumbled blindly, and then hit the light switch. His reaction to the sudden flood of stimulation to his retinas was akin to a vampire's reaction to the sun. "HAAAKKKHHHHH!!!!!" He kept his eyes closed and steadied himself. He squinted and attempted to maneuver his way to the bathroom. After about a minute, he finally made it to the door which was about 3 seconds from where he was standing. His eyes seemed to have finally adjusted to the artificial light and he could properly see now. He took a quick shower which washed off the green from his hair. He then hoped out of the shower and dried himself off. Priestly then grabbed a handful of red hair gel and went to work.

After a few minutes he felt that his hair was in an appropriate style, he reapplied his eyeliner, he believed this one belonged to Niamh. He would have to return it to her some day.....or not. He then got dressed one of his many facetious t-shirts and his red pants. He then looked over the lyrics one more time and grabbed his acoustic guitar and was out the door.

He had the guitar slung over his back as he walked through the campus on his way to Keating's class. He....was so......nervous. He wasn't entirely sure if Rhea was going to hate it or love it. He just....really wanted to prove to her that he cared you know. He had never......really felt this way about anyone before. She was so unique and she is always herself and doesn't care to be anyone else.....and that's really fucking sexy! He wanted to do something special for her.......so why not the day of the dance. It's special to people and shit, and there's magic in the air and crap like that. He would be fine.....he could do this. He rounded a corner and saw Keatings classroom. He saw Rhea sitting by the open window......fuck she was beautiful. He started to walk towards the classroom, then stopped. He was shaking a bit. Many thoughts rushed through his head. What if I embarrass her and she hates me? What if everyone calls her a freak for being with me? What if.....Priestly shook his head and got his game face on. Fuck that and fuck them! I love Rhea and show her I don't care who knows we're dating. The whole world can go down in flames for all I care, as long as I'm with Rhea....nothing else matters........I sound like a pussy. Fuck it, then I guess I'm a pussy. He took a deep breath and made a b-line for the classroom.

He stopped about 15 feet from the window Rhea was at and took another deep breath. He swung his guitar around and put his finger and thumb into his mouth and gave a sharp whistle. Once he saw he got her attention, he gave her a Priestly smile and little salute. He then noticed that he had gotten the rst of the class's attention....but he didn't care anymore. As far as he was concerned, they were eaves dropping. He placed his hands on his guitar and started to play.

1st VERSE - G B7 Em D
My heart is beating, my pulse is rushing
It's been in my head, I'm losing focus
There's just been something on my mind

The chance arrives, but my mind clouds up
The words escape me, I'm all choked up
I just never thought I'd be enough

PRECHORUS - C G D x2; C D G B7 Em; C D
So as you can see, I can be a little bit awkward, a little bit shy
I just, get so nervous every time
One thing, one question, that I've been meaning to ask you
So please, could you give it a try?

CHORUS - G B7 Em C D
So what do you say, you and I,
Let's put our lives, our work, our feelings aside,
And dance, just dance the night away
Yeah, just one night, I'll try, my best to make it worth your while
And so, on the count of three,
(One, two) will you go to the Ball with me?

2nd VERSE - G B7 Em D
Just take my hand, we'll dance like there's no tomorrow,
All dressed up, like we're ready to go so,
Say yes and leave it all to chance,

Our hearts will sing to the beat of the drums,
We'll scream the chorus to every song,
Come with me and we'll make each moment last,

PRECHORUS

CHORUS

BRIDGE - Am D Em x2; Am D G B7 Em C D
If you say no things will be alright,
In the end it was worth a try,

But as you can see, I'd rather have you standing next to me,
I couldn't ask for anything better,
So what's it gonna be?

He then began to play and sing softer.

G B7 Em C D
So what do you say, you and I,
Let's put our lives, our work, our feelings aside,
And dance, just dance the night away
Yeah, just one night, I'll try, my best to make it worth your while
And so, on the count of three,
Rhea......will you go to the Ball with me?

He hit the final chord and then swung his guitar onto his back. Priestly then gave her one of those looks and hand gestures that sort of said,'I don't know' as if he was a bit embarassed. His smile never left his face and he sort of just stood there, waiting for her to say something.

Cadence Rockwell

Cadence stole a glance at Peter as he probably wished his life was a little more easy with other people. All the while, her eyes were narrowed as if constantly daring him to go ahead and try something else. It was so hard not to welcome an opportunity that would end up more in her favor. It wasn't that she hated Peter, it was just the simple fact that these public displays of affections soiled her reputation. Thus, his own move of 'romance' would have to be balanced by her own gesture of violence. It was really easy to figure out. Each display of emotion, either by herself or someone else, had its consequences. It was just to save her face. Unfortunately, Peter's own would be momentarily damaged in the process. Have fun going to the ball with that eye, idiot, she thought inwardly as she adjusted herself in the seat. Looking to her sister, she gave her a little wink, and suddenly she was a little more than excited to be in class to day.

Silly, right?

Then the worse came. Priestly, that Hades duplicate through and through. Cadence was a little different from a Hades child, mostly because she denied it. Of course, she had her little similarities; music, the choice of clothing, etc. However, who was to say that would make her an unfortunate spawn of Hades? People dressed like she did everyday; skirts too short, tops too tight, tights and garters. She wasn't that much different from a typical rebellious adolescent. Niamh was basically the same way, only she was a little more tasteful in the fashion industry. Her half-brother, though? Oh, the lord, what a great sin. It was both love and hate at the very same time.

Today she hated him. For this moment, she's rather be a Zeus prodigy than Hades.

The whistle filtered into the classroom, and when those eyes peered beyond the class of the open window, she wanted to die. Just die completely. Was it not enough that his mere presence embarrassed her already? Then his inner Apollo came out as he proceeded to make Cadence want to throw herself into her desk.

"Rhea......will you go to the Ball with me?" That is when the platinum-haired girl just started to laugh her little ass off. Looking over to Niamh, "Yup, a child of Hades. Most definitely not an Apollo kid. That was terrible." Maybe she should punch her brother in the face, too. Oh, wait - he had eye-liner, it really wouldn't show. Then she flitted her eyes over to Rhea, "Please say 'yes' so that I don't have to hear him sing about his broken heart like some emo dweeb. Please..." She put her hands together in a praying manner, almost pleading sarcastically...

Niamh Kaia Sanders

Well, that sure is typical of Peter. Just sit down, without a word to anybody and pretend like the past couple of minutes hadn’t happened. The only thing that passed through his lips was a small chuckle. That is one weirdo child… Niamh thought to herself. Why did he have to be so darn hard to figure out?In the corner of her eye she saw a wink from her sister so she slowly tore her attention away from the boy and smiled in return to the wink, because she knew all too well that a lot of teasing could be done throughout the time period that he will have a black eye. Before she had time to start the little snipes at Peter, something that completely baffled Niamh had taken place. Priestley had entered the classroom, with an acoustic guitar on his back with nothing else on his face but a look of determination.

As soon as he began to sing, Niamh couldn’t help but groan in annoyance at the brother that she seemed to be losing respect for. She didn’t care if it was Rhea that he was singing to… it was the fact he was singing, period. Full the whole of the performance her head was buried in her arms, waiting for this shameful performance to end. This was giving her time to think about what to think about the whole thing. Sure, she wasn’t exactly fond of Rhea but hey, better than most of the other girls at the school, who are frightened of Priestley. Although she hated to admit it, she had to give credit to Priestley for being ‘courageous’ and being carefree of all the prying eyes in the classroom, but that was not the way she had hoped for him to ask any girl out to the ball, so she didn’t know where he stood.
When Priestley finished, Cadence started to comment and looked at Niamh for backing up, but surprisingly Niamh made her hand gesture for Cadence to stop for a moment and had said,

“We wait until she has answered so then we can know the full extent of the situation and so I can know how mean and abusive I can be towards him.”
After this she smiled at Cadence and returned a glance at the couple and motioned for them to continue and then looked away as this would most likely end in an emotional scene, no matter what Rhea’s answer would be and after Cadence and Peter, Niamh didn’t feel as though she had the stomach left for it. However, there was one thing she did know, she probably won’t be turning up for any other lessons today.

Rhea Xior

She could just feel the anger pouring from Keating which made her back away slowly, not even wanting him to answer the question, he'd probably been too focused to do, she backed away slowly, slightly afraid that a little Aries would come out of him, she looked out a that room, which was bubbling. Well, at least Rhea would call it that, Peter with a black eye, Candence mad, people talking, might as well call it a normal day. "Peter must have done something out of bounds again...' she thought to herself, while moving her book bag off her desk, and sitting back down. She looked as most of the students were being thrown into their own little conversations, which Rhea had no interest in listening to when there was nothing to say. She looked over at the door, finding herself more bored than she was earlier. and then Priestly walked in.

It was...definitely unexpected, Priestly wasn't an early bird in any sense, he waited rather long to get out of bed, she was expecting to see him at lunch at best, but here he was, maybe he seemed a little cranky to her, or maybe he just didn't want to actually be in the classroom. She couldn't blame him" His face showed a little more than just a general annoyance of the elements around him, "Is that....determination, I see?.." She thought to herself, she smiled lightly at him. and looked over at his half sisters, who were already shaking their heads in either disbelief or shame, she couldn't tell what it was exactly, but considering their general view on most things, it was probably shame. She scratched her head for a moment, and turned her whole body in his direction, her feet hanging out the side of her seat, her legs crossed, and arms folded in anticipation. Her eyebrows furowed with worry. "He's obviously going to sing." Seeing as he was about to ready his guitar, Rhea braced herself, she had never heard Preistly's singing voice, which was probably as hidden as most of the emotions she could observe from him, throughout the months they had actually been dating, Rhea had tried to get him to open up a little, but found it difficult, since it meant she might have to open up herself.

Surprisingly, Priestly's voice was soothing, she listened to the song, smiling at some parts, but mostly her face was neutral in expression. That was until Priestly came to the last line

And so, on the count of three,
Rhea......will you go to the Ball with me?

She had a goofish grin on her face, which suddenly turned into a burst of laughter, the fact that he did it in such a cheesy, romantic way made the whole thing so remarkable. She struggled to hold back her laughter, which was actually a way to ward off the nervousness she felt in accepting his invitation. 'Y-Yeah....I'd be glad to go with you.." she looked back at his sisters, who were; as expected dying on the insides of the embarrassment. "You might want to sit down somewhere before your sisters start attacking you..." she looked back to the both of them, the smile she had wasn't what she wanted to show, but it was hard to ward it off. She stood, walking towards Priestly and grasped his hand in hers, and hugged him, her mouth inches away from his ear, and her whisper barely audible by no one other then Priestly himself. "I would have kissed you if this were more intimate...

"I'm really not good with emotions.Good thing Mr.Vincent is here, I would look like a total jackass trying to console Phoebe.' there was no one else that had that close of a bond to Phoebe than Gabe, who was basically another mother/father figure to her, "Its difficult finding people who care about you like that." he leaned his arm on the table, the worry still evident, 'What could Phoebe possibly be sad about?.. he asked himself. “Gabey… no one has-“He listened, really wanting to explore her problems, until the both of them noticed Chance walking into the room, Cale gave him a lazy wave, he barely said anything to Chance on occasion, yet he liked him, for his charm. "How great. he thought to himself. “Hey Chancey,” for a moment Phoebe's voice was quiet when she addressed Chance. Chance was considerably happier than everyone else in the room, but that was no surprise to Cale."Hey Phoebe. I was wondering if you wanted to come to the ball with me. I think it'd be fun and we'd be able to dance and you know perhaps tell our stuffy friends later about how much fun we had dancing and laughing together. Phoebe clearly brightened up after he asked. "Wouldn't Chance usually ask Chloe or something?" as soon as Cale had though this, his face had went from curiousity, to confusion. And then came the surprising twist of jealousy. Something Cale rarely ever felt, he realized he hadn't asked anyone to the Ball, perhaps he didn't even plan to attend, or if he was lucky he could just stay somewhere where he wouldn't bother anyone, but the whole point of formal Balls, were to be a pinpoint of social interaction, the jealousy he felt was attributed to the fact that he couldn't get a date, more so,the fact that he actually liked Chance, but he wouldn't have any of the courage himself, to ask Chance, the whole idea of it inane. As crazy as Chance was, Cale could assume that he would be quick to reject his feelings since he liked Chloe, Cale did like Chloe as a person, but he couldn't really declare them 'friends' he was maybe friendly towards a handful of people.

Either way he smiled, setting the implications beside, he wanted Phoebe to be happy, Olympus just wouldn't be the same without her energy.
“You’re sweet, Cale.Thank you for caring.” he looked back to Phoebe. "Your welcome." he stood up, looking back at both Chance and Mr.Vincent. "I have to go prepare for the Ball later, if you'll excuse me." he said this quietly and walked out of the classroom, he stood against the outside of the door, letting out a deep sigh. 'Well so much for the morning..."

He walked back towards the dormitories trying to find something to occupy his time.

Rhea Xior

Rhea's heels tapped slowly on the floor, she wasn't waiting, but she wasn't exactly ready for anything, she had the heels on to make sure she was okay when walking in them, and more importantly if she needed to dance. The heels needed to feel just right, she doubted dancing would be on Preistly mind, much less her own, she stood up for a second, and then sat back down on her matress, tapping her heels again on the floor of her room. The tiny black dress on her bed was calling her, and she just took a shower. she looked back at it, lamenting the fact that she hadn't gone shopping any time before the Ball, honestly it came as a surprise, which was slightly exciting, to the point where she just forgot to buy something decent. She took off her heels, and laid them apart from the sneakers she wore earlier today, standing up, she took in a good view of the dress, it was a bit sultry, but nonetheless classy, she took off the tank top, and shorts she had on, quickly replacing it with the small dress, which fit quite nicely on her body, it was soft, and formed into her curves. So far she was loving it, though the heels, she knew would be a pain, and she couldn't fit any sneakers into the little purse she was bringing with her.

"Damn it..." she whispered, 'Just another thing to ruin my night.." she clutched them, choosing to walk barefoot, until they finally had to enter the Main Hall. She picked up her BlackBerry fixing her hair while she did and began to text message Priestly.

"You okay? How's everything on your side of the woods?"

Messy blond curls intermingled with the multitude of black ties on the comforters, wet, teenage boy, with a towel on, freaking out about teenage Ball. Lets call this a bit of melodrama for Zeke, all worried about the next few hours, still trying to wrap his head around the idea of Everlie actually going to the dance with him, wait...not a dance, a Ball. He sat for a moment, taking in a few shorts breaths, and breathing the cool air from his air conditioner, which was actually freezing him into a Zeke popsicle. The liquid was drying off, and the ties he had so haphazardly thrown onto his bed were wet from all the frolicking he did on the mattress to celebrate Everlie's acceptance, once he got into his room an hour ago to prepare, now he was drenced in not just only shower water, but frustration. Every frustrating worry that could ever occur to anyone going to a Ball ran through his head, he blew some air out of his mouth to ward one of the curls which was desperately close to his left eye. Wet hair=Soggy Curls, he crawled to one of the drawers in the room, seaching for anything that could dry his hair, really it was blowdryer in particular, which he actually had for instances like this, something his mother said would always help him, his hair was always sort of problem, but it also defined him, and he only trimmed it every few months to keep it from growing into a thicket of curls. He plugged it into the wall and let the warm air blow his curls which was such a distraction from the cold air flowing in. He grasped the dress shirt which was buried under the ties on his comforter, and began to put it on with one hand, then came his boxers, each pair of clothing becoming more difficult to put on, Zeke tried to keep a steady hand on everything, but the blow dryer came dangerously close to his scalp, causing him to lose concentration while putting on his pants, which ended with him tripping over, and falling on his drawer and knocking his shin and lip on the wooden frame. So there he was, laying on the floor, slightly angry, slightly frustrated, looking up at the ceiling, brow furrowed, he grabbed the sheets with his hands, nearly ripping them from the mattress, and his face a little red.

He looked down on his knee which was bruised, and a little vertical red line on his lip, he sighed, throwing the blow dryer on the floor, breaking it. He put on the next part of his apparel angrily, nearly snapping his shoelaces apart when he tied them. He scrtached his head trying to see how dry it was, which luckily only the small tiny curls in the back were wet. So they could dry off pretty quickly with no problems, He ignored his knee, which was burning with pain. Without even looking back, he turned off the lamp in his room, and walked out into the hallway. He didn't want to ruin the surprise of seeing Everlie before the aforementioned Ball, so he was careful at doors, which were opening and closing on the fly. He needed a walk to cool out from all the anger he could feel from just staying in his mess of a room. He began to pace around, doing nothing in particular.

Cale had already prepared himself, his dress was less than impressive compared to others, it had a more casual approach, than the formal, but they were comfy, and good for a lazy soul like him, instead of sitting in his room sulking, he wanted to find something to do, and so he ventured out of his room, and into the corridor, looking for Fen, or Nova, essentially anybody he could caryy a conversation with. He looked over at the door that led into Bailey's room, and saw Blitz, talking with Quinn, she was probably his date to the dance. "What a lucky girl." he thought to himself. He walked closer to the two of them. "Hey!"

Cadence Rockwell

“To a night of recklessness, fun and mischievousness. A night we probably won’t remember,” Niamh cheered before chugging. “There are so many things to my dear, we still have today to make fun of Boaz for his wimpy performance in Keating’s class today. And if we are lucky enough, we might get another flash of his inner Apollo.” Cadence laughed loudly while the bottle was being passed back to her, "It is our sisterly obligation to make fun of Boaz." Which would be very easy, seeing as her and Priestly had this love/hate relationship. It worked out swimmingly because she could be mean to him, he could be mean to her, but in the end, they were what they were - kind of like a sick and twisted family.

Rhea would not be safe from this, either. What makes it worse was that Cadence was her roommate. Of course, she liked Rhea, so she wouldn't get it as harsh as Priestly will. For a second, the Hades' prodigy attempted to come up with reasons why Rhea would go to the ball with Priestly. Well, it was obvious that he liked her, and she liked him. There was no song needed to take a friend to a dance. Maybe because he had an inner Apollo? AH, maybe it was the excessive use of eye-liner. Girls drool over boys in make-up. Not cadence, though. No - she vomited on them. Just because she was her own bubble of individuality didn't mean she adored the abnormal man from that hard metal band, growling, screaming, wearing leather boots, black spiked jacket, and all of that other mess. They were so foul! Believe it or not, she liked that 'normal' man.

Whatever that means.

“Plus, you could always get another kiss upon your lips from the Pete Mahony… ‘cause that seemed like fun for you.” Niamh said, with a laugh. “I wonder if he’s still got that shiner… I hope so, might give me something to tease him about.” Cadence shook her head, "Nah, Niamh - people don't hate me entirely because I don't ever beat anyone completely up. Mentally or physically. Besides, I think Peter took a good punch. A lot braver than I would have thought of a Herme's whelp." Taking a swig of the golden grain, she handed it back over to her sister, "No more kissing, though. I think next time I will just puke in his mouth instead."

Shaking her head all quick like, she flitted here eyes across the room. Holly hell, it was spinning like some nightmarish Disney World ride. "Oh, yes, this is going to be a good night." Golden Grain was almost like pure freakin' alcohol. Nasty, too. It was the easiest way to get completely intoxicated without having to drink a lot. Ta-da! Like magic.

She needed to get some Aphrodite children drunk. "I hope someone spiked the punch bowl."
