Introduction

Image
It's the year 2012 on the planet Techae. Over a million years of magic-influenced evolution have created so many races that two people of the same race are rarely seen. Spells take the place of parents in a world with no rules, the city of orphans, where children grow up the dirty streets of Omega, the massive metropolis that covers all of the planet's continents. These children grow up in the magic city, infusing themselves with it's nature in one of the most time-honored ways possible.

Drugs.

Countless drugs. And they're cheap, practically free for all they take to produce. Some sewer water and a spell, and you've got about 100 hits per gallon. Or some dust. Some dog shit. Some anything. Anything is a drug, and your variety is limited only to your magic. Children can start taking these drugs as early as they're exposed, and maybe even for the better. What little science there is in Omega leans towards the assumption that the more magic you inject, snort, or eat as a child, the more you have when you're an adult.

Drugs are the key in all of this. Those taken as children are placed above food in importance, not only for their magical properties, but for the accompanying high. This high invariably leads to addiction, and the effects of eating glamorized feces aren't all positive. Most people kick the bucket around forty, fifty tops, due to regular drug consumption. But the highs... If people could remember a time before drugs killed everyone early, they would still all take drugs, the highs are so effective. Some even have magical properties spanning out into the physical world, like growths, coloration, and, for some of the expensive ones, abilities. Transmorgification, conjuration... the typical spells of adulthood. But children are limited in their ability, where adults are not. Children, with their smaller bodies, have less of a capacity for spellcasting. The highest recorded amount of abilities in a child without death was three, to an extremely overweight boy with weak, weak powers. Most are lucky to get two. After that, their small bodies can no longer support the energy of the spells, and they perish.

Morals have no place in Omega. It's the law of the jungle, and if you can kill, you do. Six-year-old girls, posing as some of the city's omnipresent prostitutes, can lure men in with their looks, take the common payment of drugs beforehand, and kill the customer for the rest of his substances before or after he can take advantage of her, depending on the girl. The prettier they are and the longer it lasts, the more magic they have when they hit puberty. That is, at least, one traditional method. Also popular are murders of the sleeping, thievery, and getting a drug-rich boyfriend. But despite the heavy reliance on the needs of the male population for their drugs, girls are rarely underestimated. Their dark and ruthless methods frighten those who are ignorant, and intimidate those who are not.

While some of these options are open to boys as well, most of them will opt for unplanned, plain and simple murder. Talismans, knives, guns, or even spells are murder weapons, if they're past puberty. Kill them, take their drugs, and only the strongest survive until puberty, where some will take a girl almost as soon as they grow their first pubic hair. There are no contraceptives in Omega, but not due to lack of material or creativity. This world can produce anything. It's just that there is no demand. Children are considered a sign of strength and beauty, for both girls and boys. In a world without currency, children become the symbol of status. The more you have, the more respected you are. However, there are no family values. A child older than two is abandoned to the streets, where they will undergo the same tests their parents did.

Omega is a city like no city on Earth. It's practically a streetless mass of buildings, with narrow corridors at some of the ground levels, and even passages underground. But the buildings themselves, they range from little five-stories to Kinghouses (skyscrapers) as big as the Empire State Building. It happens like this. People are living in a building that they made out of some crap in one of the few empty lots on Omega. Pretty soon it's full, due to the rapidly growing population, and people are so desperate they start living on the roof. Ever lived on a roof? It sucks, you get rained on and birds crap in your food. So they build a platform to cover their heads. Pretty soon there are walls too. And just like that, there's a new floor. And then it happens again. They might even knock a hole in the wall and build an extra room onto the roof of the next building, which is doing the same shit. You can always tell which buildings are the oldest, because they'll have the most floors to them. They build all this out of whatever they can get their hands on. Omega produces so much trash that you can find anything you need to build with in the street. There's rumors of a forest on the far side of the planet where all the wood floats to them from, because they never seem to run out. But nobody wants to take the risk of running out of drugs on the voyage over to see.

Ovid Ocean

Ovid Ocean by RolePlayGateway

The steel gray-water churns endlessly against all that it holds within it's embrace, a dark chill seeping into your bones. In the distance, a black line is visible on the horizon, and getting larger all the time. The Eastern and Southern coasts border this ocean, forming a partial arc around it, the enclosure completed by the nearing shore.

Isidara Ocean

Isidara Ocean by RolePlayGateway

This huge, heated ocean is a primary source of fish, huge schools visible swimming beneath it's surface in huge, shimmering bodies. It's warm, salty smell drifts up to you, enveloping and powerful. The equator runs straight through it the whole way, accompanied by several strong warm currents.

The Kinghouse

The Kinghouse by RolePlayGateway

The broken, white door that is the ground floor entrance to one of the oldest buildings in Omega hangs loosely on it's hinges, inviting you in. Inviting you home.

Omega

Omega by Иanophяeak

The city of dreams, death, and drugs.

City Center

City Center by RolePlayGateway

You have arrived at the oldest part of Omega, the city center. Remains of ancient roads are still visible cutting through the ten-mile wide circle that contains what were vital government buildings, in their time. Now it is the home to the richest and most powerful of Omegan citizens, who have taken up residence among the stained statues and yellowing marble.

The Northern Coast

The Northern Coast by RolePlayGateway

Welcome to the Northern Coast. The smell of sea salt and the reek of pollution drift up from the ocean waters, the waves hissing against the cliffs that span the entire coastline. Off in the distance, a small dark line is visible on the horizon when the air is clear, but you see no boats sailing to reach it.

The Eastern Coast

The Eastern Coast by RolePlayGateway

The rough, porous stones beneath your feet are bone dry, and crumble slightly beneath your weight. Ten feet from the beach, the city begins, parts of it even spanning out to the water as docks for drug and food shipments. When it's light out, you can see a dark line on the horizon, far off in the distance. None of the ships seem to be sailing to it, though.

The Southern Coast

The Southern Coast by RolePlayGateway

A bitter wind blows constantly, and all those around you are wrapped in thick layers of fabric, to ward against the chill of this, the coldest part of Omega. Only here is it ever cold enough to snow, and snow it does. Ceaselessly, drifts are falling, managing to make even the haphazard houses of the shore look pretty. The ocean is frozen a good mile out, and it's strong enough to stand on the whole way. The South Pole of the planet is located here, somewhere among the buildings, but nobody has been able to locate it. Off in the distance, the world fades to white from the ceaseless blizzards.

The Western Coast

The Western Coast by RolePlayGateway

A sunny, sandy beach, the city stays a good fifty feet from the shoreline here, the sand being too unstable to build on. A warm ocean current runs directly along the equator and into the coast, then spreads along it, cooling as it goes north and south. This beach, due to the relatively far proximity of the city, is for the most part clean and pollution free, excepting a few dead bodies littered among the sand. Looking past these into the sea, you can see a dark line in the distance, so far away it's barely visible.

Kamachi, the Character skeleton for the roleplayed Cursed set in the same world was
Code: Select all
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Appearance: Pic or description, at LEAST two non-human parts. No nekos and shit, or I will eat every child you have.
Drugs of Choice: This is your own pocket of creation. Come up a drug or two that your character favors. It can be something from a book, real life, or from your own imagination.  Appearance, method of consumption, and effects must all be included.
Other:

However, the roleplay that Nano is intending to publicize is Omega, which works under the new Roleplay tab system. You can submit a character via the Character system right into the roleplay, instead of going through OOC as you may have done in the past. I just submitted a character without using the skeleton I just reposted, but covering all of those details.

Anyway, my submission: roleplay/omega/characters/riakk/

Re: [OOC] Omega

Can you please provide a character skeleton? I might be interested in joining.

[OOC] Omega

This is the OOC for the chat based drug and magic world of Omega. Unlike the actual roleplay based in Omega, Cursed, the rules here are much different. You can be anyone, take any venture, and, in chat, do all that Omega allows.

The rules as they exist are as follows.

Those under 17 are limited to two powers maximum from drug use. Taking multiple drugs with enhancing effects will cause ability blending, in which both powers are tainted by the other.

If you have a very special body, you can have some enhancement in line with your form, like being a good swimmer if you have fins and gills, or something like that.

It's fine to imply that sex has occured, or to describe sexually attractive features and such, but anything past that goes to PM's.

No godmodding or godmoding.

Proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization is necessary.

Gender isn't limited to male or female. Good luck coming up with new ones, but for all intents and purposes, you can also be hermaphroditic (articles are shi and hir for third person referencing), ambiguous (it), or Asexual (hym, hys)

No characters younger than 5.

If you character has been denied, it is most likely because it was not in line with one of these rules. If you still cannot find the problem and want to join, PM me for a more specific reason.

This topic is for the discussion, suggestion, and planning of the IC chat world of Omega. The following is the library of existing drugs as it has been created so far. Feel free to add more.

The Library

Nightmare
Appearing as a midnight black liquid, Nightmare is an extremely dangerous drug, only the most resilient of bodies can metabolize it for use. Injection provides the best resulting high and strongest power gift, but lesser forms of use decrease the danger of the toxic properties of it. It can be drunk, absorbed through the skin, and inhaled, if one boils it. The power it grants is a vastly heightened physical state, and occasionally you may recieve vision of the future, almost unerringly accuracy.

Terminus
This appears as a silver powder, often mistaken for metal dust. The drug is another risky substance, difficult to metabolize, causing extreme, debilitating pain if the body rejects it. It can be smoked or snorted, both providing an equal high and power gift. Terminus grants a dangerous gift, the ability to burn the atoms of a substance when in contact with it. Ironically, it is this very ability that causes the pain of rejection, for it burns at the outsides of one's organs.

Phlame
A drug somewhat like a combination of weed and speed, Phlame has small regenerative capabilities when consumed, as well as an immediate physical burst of energy combined with a calm so effective you can feel your thoughts slowing. It can be consumed by drinking it or by soaking paper in it and rolling it tightly and smoking the resulting stick.

Light

Light is a full-sensory drug, throwing a user into a world that cannot be recreated by anything else. Always injected, Light is a liquid drug that, as it's name suggests, causes a bright, pleasant state of mind. Someone using light will experience a soft, comforting buzz in their ears, a taste like the sweetest of candies, the sight of a warm, enveloping glow, and smell something like a light perfume. All of these are irrelevant, however, compared to Light's effect on touch. Light causes supersensitivity, where someone who uses it develops skin so sensitive that they can feel the air currents around them. When Light is under full effect, directly after being absorbed, these same air currents can cause a constant, body wide stimulation. A user will often go incoherent with pleasure for several minutes as their brain forms larger touch reception areas, the growth causing an immense flow of dopamine directly into the nearby pleasure receptors.

Drux*
Most commonly sold as a beautiful lavender liquid for drinking or injection, Drux is famous for its total blackout effect. Drux is the ultimate painkiller, totally shutting down every human capacity to feel, smell, see or sense anything at all. A person on a drux high is dead for all intents and purposes, their heart stopping. Being addicted to Drux requires a lot. Not to be taken lightly, any stress eight hours after your first injection will kill you, leading to a high amount of people tending to use Soma directly afterwards. After taking Drux, however, the body will compartmentalize, and soon, train itself to survive off instinct. Your heart might not pump all the time, but other organs will find away around it. Subsequent doses actually convert different parts of the body into their own organisms, each supporting the other but capable of sustaining itself. The body becomes one giant symbiotic colony of organisms. Any damage done during a Drux high will result in death for all but the most addicted. The parasitic organs which make up the body, however, can be controlled with enough training. This drug is one of the hardest available, and killing brain cells is an understatement. If the initial shock is survived, the body becomes physically schizophrenic, making the addict very hard to kill, as each separate section of the body can survive on its own, and ultimately repair the other parts. Without a steady but incredibly minuscule stream of Drux, however, the body can start to literally fall apart, and in some urban legends, sprout into a whole new person. The first stages of Drux cause intense pain, and thus more Drux is usually taken, giving the body more capacity for it, and allowing for greater separation of the body, until pain to one part will not even affect another.

TRFMD
TRFMD, usually just called "Tralf" is a dirty drug, a tar like paste which one swipes under the eyelids. It's sometimes marked as "4-D" because when the drug is taken, the world will feel like an intense 4D movie, with various senses being stimulated by that which isn't there. This drug causes the brain to self-stimulate, picking a memory completely at random and essentially playing it back for the user. Extreme doses can cause an overload where the user can remember more than one event at one time, and the most focused druggies can make themselves remember a certain event. The drug of nostalgic fools and philosophers who just can't figure it out, given mostly as a cheap alternative to Light, half the price, none of the effects. The body can't remember certain sensations, and will simply make up most of the memory, meaning with each subsequent use, a memory can become much sweeter than it actually was.

Feline
(Also known as Cat's Grace)
A powdered drug that is best when snorted or absorbed in the erogenous zones. Like it's name implies, the drug can give you almost cat-like grace and balance. It can make even the largest person nimble and quick on their feet. It can be quite addictive and is a pale green colour.

XTC
This drug is best in a tablet form and swallowed, it causes a sense of acceptance and loving. A cheap party drug.

FQ
The Drug of choice for adults and nymphomaniacs, it acts as the ultimate male enhancement. A rose colored liquid that requires intense amount of effort to produce, drinking this stuff can turn the most insignificant worm into a sexual god, think love potion mixed with intense endurance enhancement. Usually used for mass insemination or for a wild weekend for a few lucky, now dead individuals, FQ is a drug with few side effects, and which does not create pleasure, but rather acts as a medium for it.

Soma
One of the more famous drugs, it's effects are simple. Take a holiday. Go into a corner, swallow the pill, and just have a holiday. Not as dramatically numbing as Drux, not as wonderful as Light, not as fun as XTC, the perfect bartering pill. One pill, one hour away, not really describable, just causes you to go away. Easily traded and easily distinguished by its bright cyan color and powdery texture, but doesn't mix well with other drugs, in fact, taking with virtually any other drug creates an absolutely rampant, feral state, in which you're hardly accountable for your actions, and usually results in being murdered by someone out of self defense, or waking up to find your fingers raw from clawing and your teeth sore from clenching on a few bones. Another Soma will clear that right up, though.

PalX
The sort of thing you should always have on hand, especially with drugs which cause a stupor but not debilitation, this drug rapidly cleans out your system of any high-causing drugs, and can be easily absorbed through the skin. A clear liquid with a taste like very, very bad cough syrup, and a smell like fake cherry and tar. It can be applied by someone else to snap a friend out of a coma, and used in combination with all drugs but Soma and Cat's Grace. Taking this effectively detoxes you, and can give a distinct resilience to the user. The bad side is, it makes any highs that occur while it lingers in your system (for about four days) absolutely miserable, but makes your physical dependency on a drug much, much higher. A drug of escape, not much else, and no easily used to trick others because of its distinctive smell. Can be dried and made into a powder with the same smell.

Mercury
A silvery liquid that can be drank or injected. It tastes bitter and metallic, and not long after you take it, your senses are numbed and you get a tingly feeling that races through your limbs, followed by a slight burning sensation. It sends metal into your blood stream, but eventually is dissolves. It's harmless in small doses, but taking it often and in large doses may be fatal because it changes your blood, but the risk is worth it , because in return you can get a very interesting high. An acute sense of clarity, where everything is new and vibrant, colors jump out, all sounds are music, and even things far away are sharp and defined.

Rust
A coppery-red substance that comes in either flakes or powder form, it can be eaten, chewed, or smoked. It tastes like molasses, but not as sweet, and very dry. It doesn't get you high, but it does have a certain punch that is very addicting, like the exhilarating feeling of lifting something heavy. In effect, it gives high blood pressure and causes cells to multiply at a faster rate. But the reason why people smoke it is mainly because is strengthens your muscles and bones and causes many other effects, depending on the person.

Therapy
A highly addictive fight drug, commonly distilled from the blood of others, that metabolizes emotion into raw power while makes the user feel emotion much more intensely. Therapy is a dark red liquid absorbed through the skin in small doses, typically in time-release patches or treated clothing. Users can demonstrate superhuman feats of physical acumen during states of heightened emotion such as fear or surprise, though usually this effect is expressed during rage. Users sometimes also take bestial attributes during this period similar to a "werewolf" transformation. The range of effects varies from person to person, but typically are prone to wild mood swings and feats of ridiculous strength. Can cause psychotic or berserk behavior if taken in large doses, however the most common side effect of overdose is a rather incurable case of death due to massive brain hemorrhaging, or internal bleeding caused by muscles snapping once pushed too far. Users can become addicted after only one use, and tend to suffer a debilitating detox and crushing depression if the user misses his fix. One time released patch usually lasts for a couple days.

Sanguine
A sickly green liquid. The strongest reaction is attained by injection, though the drug can be taken almost any way the user desires. It's very nearly a poison in anything greater than a miniscule, and can make people with weaker constitution deathly ill. Those who can stomach it can develop powers over blood: most notably the power to use the magical energy in blood for spellcasting through other abilities, turning a few drops of blood into a potent energy source. The most common side effects aside from illness are blood obsession, "vampiric" behavior, and self mutilation.

Maw
A cheap drug used to tide one over until their next fix of something stronger, maw is a caramel flavored pouch twisted up and stuck in the mouth, under the upper or lower lip, under the tongue, next to the cheek, just stuffed there and allowed to steep. No high, just a soothing addiction, and a flavor which becomes progressively more foul, shifting from a flavor like burnt sugar to burnt hair, then dirty skin, then rancid meat, and on and on in a cylce of horrible flavors so one can never really be numb to it. The effects of this drug is the incredible sharpening of the teeth, and the ultimate elongation of the jaw. True Maw addicts will have long snouts with multiple rows of teeth, human teeth, that they usually have to file if they intend on using them as a weapon. Maw is a malicious drug, and often a jealous customer will try and kill a young streetwalker's career by forcing her to partake of huge doses of Maw, usually resulting in cleft lip and freakish deformities, ruining their ability to seduce men out of their drugs.

Goom
The Goom is a rather funny drug, you put a giant wad of the white stuff in your mouth, and you start to chew. The rock hard substance will ultimately soften to a gummy consistency, and the user can't help but smack their lips. Goom is a drug famed for its stickiness. Chewing a bit of that sparkling white rock will turn a person's saliva into a powerful healing balm, and using the wad of gummy mess, soaked in enhanced saliva, to dab on a wound is an effective way to anesthetize any cuts and triple scab production. Lovely side effects include hideous herpes like boils and slimy scabs all over the face, and a bloated sense of self-worth, as these druggies, though as hooked on Goom as any other drug, enjoy charging huge sums for their services, as hard Goom, the unchewed, dry product, is hugely rare, and virtually all Goom today was broken off of three larger batches, and been passed from disease filled mouth to disease filled mouth.

Harpsand
A drug for the more sophisticated druggie. Harpsand can really only be utilized by people with powerful tongues, as the sour brown sand has to be held directly on the tongue, allowed to form a rubbery slime, and then slowly released down the throat. Increased use of this drug will cause a person's tongue to become incredibly strong and regenerative, as well as stretching to as much as three feet, allowed to dangle out of the mouth, usually wrapped around some Harpsand. Beyond this, Harpsand causes a person's body to become incredibly immune to acids, and the user will probably have a strange desire for Citrus. Acid will simply seem to stop working, and a true addict can actually dissolve through some materials with their highly acidic saliva.

Nailbiter
Aptly named, this blue liquid stings the nostrils of anyone near, no matter how numbed or immune. To "enjoy" this masterpiece, one actually has to devise a mechanism to shoot it down your throat. It is so abhorrent to the human body that it must be forced down the throat to be ingested, usually wrapped in wax to slow the release. When it's in the system, the results are incredible. Anyone under the expensive effects of Nailbiter has eyes on the back of their head, as a stinging sensation will be applied to the parts of their body nearest another person, the drug trying to attack the other person's system, already imbued in the user's. The nice thing about Nailbiter, it's not even addictive, though it does wear off, and the enhanced alertness may be worth the blood you'll cough up, or the fact that keeping an eye closed for too long can cause it to scab over the night.

Phorm
Some say that a good night's sleep is all you can ask for. Some phorm might help. A shimmering black drug physically resonating with moonlight, Phorm will cause any other drug in your system to align with its vibrations, meaning moonlight will practically double the high, and sunlight will negate it. To a druggie, Phorm will deprive their body of drugs in sunlight, which might as well be death. Some figure that Omega is a dark enough place to enjoy the few hours of intense highs enhanced by form, but running into a phorm user during the day will usually mean death. They have a temper. Who wouldn't if you went from flying high to a debilitating normalcy? When you drink or inject Phorm, you are sacrificing daylight for a much better nightlife, but this does create a very blatant weakness.

SND
"Sand" can refer to Harpsand or SND, the former causing the body to become highly acidic, and the latter causing a unique dreamy state. SND can actually be injected into the bloodstream for an absolutely miserable, searing pain as a solid object is forced into your veins, but it always immediately dissolves in blood. The result will be a sudden dreaminess, where being pinched will be your last wish. Not unlike a Soma holiday, SND is unique in that it can grant a powerful contact high, and is usually used in groups or between two people wanting to spice up their intimate times. Under an SND high, two people can communicate with each other through a dreamlike state, and in some ways gather important information. The darling of the lady of the night who can't get the drugs without giving out the goods, SND can allow her to tap into her sleeping victim and find out where the good stuff is.

MvM
Usually used to cut powdered drugs, MvM's actually provide a wonderful weightless effect, in fact, though once you start taking it, you must increase your dose by half your previous one with each subsequent dose, some say it's worth it. MvM doesn't give a high, what it does is actually convert bonemarrow to pumping out enzymes that mess with balance and release a few endorphins. The result is a dizziness and a lightness, as well as the slow hollowing of your bones. This drug is a killer, but some people have been able to couple it with other drugs to survive the effects and reap the benefits. Taking enough MvM will actually cause incredible weightlessness, enough to make climbing and jumping seem much much easier, as while your strength isn't decreasing, your bone mass is. Bone marrow is still producing blood, and if you take it slow, the body will adapt itself, but missing even a single correctly increased dose or increasing the dose too much can cause disastrous side effects. Snort with caution.

TLD**
A clear drug you apply to the eyes like eyedrops, TLD has some severe side effects. Uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea, and the sudden accumulation of ice cold sweat. That side effect is actually the benefit, besides a soothing and somewhat erotic high, TLD will make a person immune to Hypothermia, and those heavily intoxicated by it can even suck heat out of the air. Once you get past the first few miserable doses, the results may be worth it, as you draw all the heat out of a person's body to steal their drugs, leaving them struggling for warmth in a room already caked with ice.

Fang
Prick your skin just enough to let the dye ooze just under the surface, and feel the joy. Fang causes a high characterized by uncontrollable laughing, and all the joy it entails. Inserting the needle to far causes death, and injecting too much causes the heart to stop from the laughter. A drug for the severely depressed, usually resulting in a few odd effects. Increased exposure will cause spines to grow out of the body, usually at the injection sight, rooted just under the skin, even torn out painlessly due to their numbing of the surrounding area. The best part? These spikes or "Fangs" actually form from the used fang being deposited along with huge amounts of excess minerals. Usually these are torn out and used to inject more fang, but some think of it as a mark of distinction and will seed their body with fangs, creating a hard, spiked shell in certain areas or their whole body. Fangs will deflect most slashing weapons, and injecting the fang correctly can created curved spikes, protecting against stab wounds. Bruising done under a fang shell will cause Fang to leak into the body, causing death, however. Use at own risk.

Albs

A highly hallucinogenic, refined form of Soma tablets boiled in TRFMD (tralf), famed because it always gives everyone the same high. A popular drug for larger groups as no matter where you are, you're in the marmalade forest, between the make believe trees, and anyone you meet is a wonderfully beautiful person with nothing to talk about but how wonderful this wonderful world is wonderful at being wonderfully wonderful in just the most wonderful way. Provides one of the worst hangovers, but isn't addictive (due to the Soma reaction). Drink this and enjoy the unchanging world, favored by those with mid-life-crises and those who hate how the world has changed, giving them an absolutely consistent place to hide. Taking enough Albs will actually cause the user to become both invisible and a vegetable, with no real bartering on that end. If you trip over nothing, it could be the ghostly remains of an Albs addict.

KJ2X
**
Take some Rust, rub it into the Albs with a dab of Goom and soak it in PalX and you have one of the most useful drugs in Omega.
The powerful combination of drugs refined in the presence of PalX acts to strengthen, refine, and manipulate seemingly contradictory effects into one whole new, synergistic creation. KJX can't be found by the biggest drug dealers, it's very privately produced by the richest people in Omega, those so rich they can afford whole towers and pay off a thousand people just to keep quiet. KJ2X is brewed carefully in the darkest reaches, and it's effects are intense. Controlled invisibility, and the ability bend light around the user are the usual result. 1 in 18,000 can survive contact with a single grain of KJ2X, and that one who survives will enjoy the week long process of having their skin slough off. Their body will, however, produce a hideous bulbous sack to cover itself with, which bends the light around itself, allowing for the aforementioned invisibility, and this film can be extended at will after a few more doses and intense training. A mythical drug for a mythical druggie.

Goldust
A simple drug, applied to any mucous membrane, the green fluid will rapidly dissolve, and put the user into a haze. The user's body will begin to excrete various minerals, and the drug, out of the skin in a thin golden powder. When the gossamer cocoon of sparkling gold has finished, removing it causes an intense reaction of pleasure, as the skin comes in contact with air. A drug for those luxurious nights or to impress a particularly powerful client.

Gobstop
A horrible marble of a thing, stuffed into the side of the cheek and allowed to slowly, slowly dissolve. This is a very sophisticated two part drug, as once the orb has finally dissolved enough, it will violently crack open, sometimes ripping out of a person's cheek, and the small creatures inside the egg will fight for survival. That is when you light the orb on fire, making sure to harness and breath in as much of the burning carcass as possible. Side effects include permanent blindness and loss of limbs, as well as the ability of the body to require less oxygen, and even move oxygen around in the air. Around an open flame, this can be incredibly useful, and it can also extend a creature with gills ability to live on land and under water to an indefinite span. Not really addictive, but can cause some serious trouble breathing, and when you spend a few months waiting for a huge ball to dissolve in your cheek, it becomes very difficult to talk when it's not there.

Evon
A tasteless and sometimes sour drug that allows the user to adapt to their surroundings quickly. Useful to have, because it heighten's the user's senses. In the dark, you'll be able to see more. Depending on your situation, it'll help you adapt to it. If you don't get much water, for example, it'll make your need for water less great. If you're constantly wounded, it'll multiply your immune system. It'll basically improve the place that needs the most improvement, or the place that would be most useful. If you constantly take Evon to improve something, it'll become permanant. But say if you take Evon to improve night vision, and now your day vision is awful. Evon won't help get back your day vision. In fact, it'll only make it worse. Evon will improve a select few things, and won't improve everything. Evon also comes with a price. And though Evon improves some things, it'll take away things from qualities. Hence the day and night vision example. Evon isn't perfect either. It has some major downsides. Much to the dislike of men and women, it greatly reduses insemination and hormones. It's a pain in the ass to make or find, because you have to make it out of Phlame, TRFMD, Sanguine, sea salt, four drops of O-type blood, and a small wad of clay, then let it sit in a damp area for a week, and finally grind it into powder. It results in a pale yellow powder and can be eaten, chewed, or snorted.

Mackash
Sold in a cluster, these strands of hair-like substance taste like cotton candy, and provide a hallucinogenic experience that's one of the most popular of it's kind in Omega. These hallucinations, by the way they work, bring the risk of multiple personalities with continued use, and the certainty of it with addiction. Users of this drug are easily recognizable by the fireproof fur that the drug causes to sprout on their body, the color of which always matches the color of any hair on their body prior to use.

Masher
A small blue pill, taken as a suppository (anally), this medium-quality drug is much like Light in it's enhancement of sensations, but still a lower quality due to that sensations must be created, and are not automatically generated by the drug itself. Any feeling or touch felt under the effects of this drug will increase tenfold, including pain, pressure, hot, cold, pleasure, and any other sensation. Side effects include and are certainly limited to: A desire and ability to eat (and digest) rotting flesh.

Death*
A dark, slippery, viscous liquid that performs one task, gives one ability, and one high.
Take a sip, a shot, rub it on yourself, touch it, sniff it, use it for lube, dry it and snort it.
Any contact with this substance will cause the most permanent escape you can get.

* This drug cannot be used in RP.
