The Adventure Starts:: June 9a.m.

Asaf Avidan - One Day

So this is how it went down. School was over, a party was thrown and nothing could have been better. Drinking, smoking, dancing, laughing. There were lots of people but the ones that always stuck together were; Dillon, Chandler, Monty, Landon, Lucky and Hugo. Just a bunch of English college students or recent graduates celebrating the coming of summer. Monty and Hugo were competing over who would get what girl. Dillon and Landon were just talking with drinks in their hands while Chandler and Lucky danced crazily to the music obviously bothering the neighbors.

When most of the people started leaving the party, the six friends gathered together and started talking about a long trip to all the places they dreamed of going to. Of course one of them was crazy enough to believe that they could do it. Dillon was sure they could but she knew she couldn't say it now because no one would believe her, especially not in their drunk state. Instead, Dillon whispered into Monty's ear asking him if she could take his minibus tomorrow, drunk as he was he said yes.

The next day, Dillon appeared in front of each of their homes, apartments, whatever and after a few minutes of convincing each of them said yes. They packed a bag, stuffed it in the back and hopped in. Now they're on the open road heading to their first destination: France.

Dillon was still looking back at the night of the party. All of them laughing together and pointing out everything they wanted to do in the different places. Run up the stairs of the Eiffel Tower, run with the gazelles in Africa, learn an African dance, party in Barcelona, hug a koala in Australia. The list was endless and Dillon had seen it all come true in her mind. She didn't care about studying anymore, she cared about her friends. They had known each other since middle school and high school and ever since they'd all gone their separate ways they hadn't been spending enough time together.

Dillon hoped that this trip would not only make everyone's dreams come true but it would also be the best way to get them to be better than friends. She was loving the thought of traveling and then going back home telling everyone everything they saw. She was probably getting a little ahead of herself but she couldn't help seeing the future she dreamed of.

β€œDillon, put some music on,” said Chandler.

Dillon opened the glove box to see what CDs she had, the glove box overflowed with music CDs because everyone had brought their own personal favorite bands and albums.

β€œWhat do you want me to put?” She asked, β€œPlease pick something around-the-world-trip-like.”

Hugo could calculate wild numbers in his mind, he could recite the first book he ever read in his life, he could give you every definition in the dictionary of every word, but he could never have guessed an around the world trip was going to happen. Truth be told, he always dreamed of going to France. They have the best food and wine, he was dying to taste those. He also was glad that his friends were all hear with him. He would have been nothing without his friends.

They gave him confidence when his parents had disappointed him, they cared for him when his cousin passed away. They were the only people he could admit he cared for. He wanted to help them in anyway he could, he wished he could still take money from his parents but that was over. He relies on himself for money and since his job made him pretty rich he could help with any sort of financial need during the trip.

β€œDillon, put some music on,” said Chandler.

Dillon opened the glove box which caused an outpouring of CDs so he crawled over to the passenger seat and helped put some CDs away then saw a John Butler album. He slipped the CD in and left everyone in suspense until the song started playing.

β€œA little bit of One Way Road by John Butler Trio is always good for a trip,” Hugo smiled to Chandler and started dancing to the song.

Lucky grinned in the backseat as her friends put on some horrible music and began dancing around to it. The hipster style song was not exactly up her ally, but who was she to complain? She had decided when she stepped in the bus that she was going to leave all the negative behind. That meant that she wasn't going to complain about the music; she would just roll with the flow. Lucky smiled warmly as she watched Hugo grin at Chandler and Monty as he started dancing around in the seat. It had been so long since she'd seen everyone together like this.

She looked out the window as car after car rumbled past. This trip was going to be great for her. Away from all the paparazzi, sets, and gigs. The thought alone was enough to make her smile. Feeling like the world was at her fingertips, she slipped herself down a bit in her seat, propping her converses up on the back of the the window by the driver seat. She could see Dillon's beautiful blonde hair from her seat, and it gave her some comfort. At least someone with good driving skills was in that seat. Lucky turned back to the sketchbook in her lap, the half finished picture of France. She planned to draw each of the places they went, as well as scrapbook everything.

Lucky went back to adding a detail here or there, trying to keep her hand light since the bumps in the road could cause her to mess up the whole picture. She shifted slightly, brushing against Landon on accident. "Does this look proportional to you?" Lucky lifted the sketch pad, not bothering to lean off of him. She was comfortable with all of her friends. "Hey Chandler, what do you say to getting a tattoo with me when we get to France? You, too, Dill. Hell, maybe we should all get one at the end of the trip. That'd be cool," she said, her voice fading into a mumble as she neared the end, focusing on her sketch.

Chandler has one arm hanging out window, her hand tapping against the side of Monty's old van, affectionately dubbed the 'Hippy Van.' Everyone is laughing and talking about the trip, herself included, and it makes it seem as though this little trip will be completely problem free. Of course, Chandler is a bit more pessimistic than that, but she keeps the idea out of her head all the same, grinning and laughing with everyone else. She suggests that they should try and fight with a Kangaroo when they reach Australia, before boasting that she can take one, no problem. Of the girls in the van, she's certainly the most athletic, although that doesn't really mean that she'd be able to take on a Kangaroo- certainly not an angry one. Still, no harm in joking about it, right? A gust of wind nearly blows her favorite hat off of Chandler's head, prompting her to have to lean out the window and catch it. "Close one," she mutters, before turning back around and leaning over the front seat to face Dillon.

"Dillon, put some music on," Chandler suggests, knowing that every good roadtrip needs a soundtrack, regardless of whether that soundtrack is fantastic or pitiful. "What do you want me to put on? Please pick something around-the-world-trip like," Dillon responds, glancing over at the overflowing amount of CDs that everyone has brought. Before Chandler can actually suggest something, though, Hugo breaks in with his own CD, popping it in before Chandler can say a word.

"Better be a work of art, Hugo," Chandler challenges him, as he had taken her chance to choose the song. As it plays, she has to admit that it is reasonably good, made only better by the dancing he starts to show off from the passenger seat. " I wouldn't suggest quitting your day job, dude," she teases him, her voice contrasting his because of her American accent. The young woman leans over towards Lucky to look at her picture, before looking back at the girl and making a face.

"Sorry, Lulu, gonna have to pass. Wouldn't want to ink up this beautiful work of god, y'know?" she jokes, flexing her bicep and kissing it for effect before grinning at Lucky and leaning back in the seat. Even though she hasn't been on the Tennis Courts for a while, she still works out regularly out of habit, and is probably in better shape than most guys her age. A lifetime as a dedicated athlete tends to leave people with healthy habits, to some extent.

"Besides, I wouldn't get anything flowery or something like that, anyway," she adds absentmindedly, pulling her hat off and pulling brown hair into its accustomed ponytail, which is useful in getting it off her neck. The bus is big, but still slightly crowded all the same, and it's hot outside. "I say our first stop should be a beach," she calls out to Dillon before placing a hat back on her head and leaning over towards Hugo.

"Alright, Bitsy, you're going to make me tired just looking at you."

β€œA little bit of One Way Road by John Butler Trio is always good for a trip,” Landon heard Hugo respond, and his eyebrows raised as he watched the guy dance around the van, clearly enjoying himself. Landon had to laugh at them. It was good to see everybody having a good time. And it was even better to just get away from everything; school, working, paying bills and such. The last thing he wanted to see was a machine that wasn't called a car and the only bill he was looking to pay was the one given to him by a bartender. Thinking about it... he could go for a shot right now. He felt Lucky lean against him and instinctively threw his arm around her, glancing at the sketch. "Yeah, yeah," he nodded,"and those tattoos better be followed by a trip to the bar," he added jokingly.

Landon leaned his head back on the seat, turning just enough so he could see out of the window and watch everything pass by. He had no clue where they were going, but the beach was a good enough guess. Chandler suggested it, and it sounded fun for a first stop. It was small compared to their other planned destinations, though; going all the way to Spain, to France, and across the ocean, to Africa. Seemed kind of hard to do in just a van, but he was ready to stop thinking and acting like the one hundred percent responsible guy and just let loose. Plus, if anyone could go around the country in a van, it'd be the six of them, he figured.

"Maybe we should stop at one of those Jamaican Dance Halls so Hugo can show off his dancing abilities," Landon teased, looking back at Hugo.

Well, we're doing this. We're actually doing this. Monty thought with a wide gin on his face as he sat in the minibus and headed off on, what Monty has been calling it, The Trip of a Lifetime. And where were they heading first? France. Ooh la la. Personally, Monty didn't care where they went as long as he could have a little fun with the opposite gender. He wasn't sure about agreeing to the trip though. He had a girl over at his place when Dillon came knocking at the door. He answered it and listened to what she was saying with a rather dumbfounded and blank expression on his face. He was still a little tired and hung over, but he understood what she was saying. He said okay and went to pack his bags. The whole time a girl that he had over kept asking him questions, he just gave her a smile and said "bye".

Monty began to laugh at the sight in front of him. Chandler wanting Dillon to put music on and then Hugo taking Chandlers chance to pick a song. It was a funny sight that he's seen so many times before. He let out a sigh of relief, happy that the song wasn't that bad. The beat was good and everything, but he couldn't understand a word they were saying.

"Okay, okay. That's enough of that." Monty said once the song was over and he hit Hugo slightly on the back of his head. "That was for your horrible dancing." He added then leaned over everyone who was in the way and into the front seat to pick out his own song. He found a girly looking CD and held it up for all to see. "Lets play this!" He said jokingly before laughing at his own lame joking. He then put that back and pulled out and another one and popped it in. He sat back down with a big grin on his face, putting both of his elbows on the back of the seats. He waited as On Top Of The World by Image Dragons. He leaned back over and turned it up more before busting out and singing along with the song. "β€˜Cause I’m on top of the world, eh, I’m on top of the world, eh, waiting on this for a while now, paying my dues to the dirt, I’ve been waiting to smile, eh, been holding it in for a while, eh, Take you with me if I can, Been dreaming of this since a child, I’m on top of the world!" He yelled singing with a big grin on his face as he looked at everyone and tried not to break down laughing.

Driving The Minibus

Going to the beach wasn't the first stop Dillon was planning on, but it did sound nice. Landon seemed to be eager to get into a bar and truthfully, she was too. They could go to the beach down south of England and take a ferry boat in the morning to bring the van to France. While Dillon drove attentively she hummed to the rhythm of the song that Hugo so eagerly swayed to. She felt complete and right then there was nothing better that could make her happier.

Apparently, Lucky was drawing which Dillon was so happy about. The girl was a famous actress and singer, she probably didn't have much time to herself, let alone draw. And she had so many good ideas.

β€œIf your tattoo idea is a good one I will gladly paste it on my shoulder blade” Dillon said with a grin, β€œI've been wanted to get a new one. Come on Kennedy, buff up! And get a tattoo.” She teased Chandler.

Dillon loved seeing Hugo and Monty together, if they weren't best friends or ever arguing on something then the world wouldn't be right. The only thing she didn't like was when she was brought in the middle. With Monty all over the place to get into the passenger seat, Dillon had to stick her face to the window.

β€œUgh, you have a fatter ass than I though!” Dillon laughed then Monty took out a girly CD, β€œHey don't mock that, it was my CD when I was a kid!”

When he finally put in a good song, Dillon enjoyed it, right up until he started singing. He did it on purpose obviously so Dillon begged him to stop as she laughed which didn't make her sound very convincing.

β€œLucky, please show him how it's done!” Dillon begged her.

β€œAlright, Bitsy, you're going to make me tired just looking at you,” Chandler said.

Hugo ignored her and kept on moving around. He liked making his friends complain in a good way, it made him feel like things were just more fun.

β€œMaybe we should stop at one of those Jamaican Dance Halls so Hugo can show off his dancing abilities,” Landon joked and Hugo actually liked the idea.

β€œYou'll be jealous once all the women get mesmerized by my skills,” Hugo said with a dramatic flinging of his wrist like a typical salsa dance.

When the song ended Monty interrupted Hugo's attempt in putting another song and hit him behind his head. He also stole Hugo's shotgun spot.

β€œMy dancing is perfect thank you, might I point out I dance better in a car than you on an open dance floor,” Hugo teased.

Monty put in his song. Hugo wished he could have clear differences with Monty but the thing is, they were quite similar in their mentality, their likings, their dislikes and their spirit. Hugo couldn't be angry with Monty because he knew why he did stuff, he couldn't not like the guy because they are basically twins. He couldn't even complain about the song because he liked it, so instead he just went on dancing again and bothering everyone.

"Sorry, Lulu, gonna have to pass. Wouldn't want to ink up this beautiful work of god, y'know? Besides, I wouldn't get anything flowery or something like that, anyway,"Kennedy was saying in response to her tattoo idea. Lucky wrinkled her nose at the word 'flowery'. "'Flowery'? I think you have me confused with someone, Chan," she giggled, shaking her head and nuzzling closer into Landon as he placed his arm around her. β€œIf your tattoo idea is a good one I will gladly paste it on my shoulder blade,” Dillon chimed in from the driver seat, β€œI've been wanted to get a new one. Come on Kennedy, buff up! And get a tattoo.” "Yeah, yeah," he nodded,"and those tattoos better be followed by a trip to the bar," Landon added in with a grin, causing Lucky to laugh a little. "I think we should hit the bar, before we go get needles stuck in us."

"I say our first stop should be a beach," Kennedy put in from the very back seat. "Now there's an idea..." Lucky glanced to the front seat, where Hugo was wiggling around as though he had ants in his pants. "Alright, Bitsy, you're going to make me tired just looking at you," Kennedy sighed, speaking aloud what Lucky had been thinking. "Maybe we should stop at one of those Jamaican Dance Halls so Hugo can show off his dancing abilities," Landon added, teasing Hugo. β€œYou'll be jealous once all the women get mesmerized by my skills,” Hugo shot back, still dancing around; his mood impossible to shoot down. β€œMy dancing is perfect thank you, might I point out I dance better in a car than you on an open dance floor,” Hugo added, cocky and silly as ever.

"Okay, okay. That's enough of that." shot from the backseat, coming from Monty. At first Lucky thought he was trying to break up the mock argument between Landon, Hugo and Kennedy, but then he added, "Lets play this!" as he threw his body over Landon's shoulder, and only Lucky's head. She let out a squeak as he nearly crushed her in his attempt to get to the front seat. Busting into laughter, Lucky remained squished against Landon, stuck under Monty for a moment as he talked with Dillon. β€œHey don't mock that, it was my CD when I was a kid,” she heard Dillon say, unable to see what was going on because of Monty's body.

When he finally moved into the front with Dillon, Lucky was able to catch her breath from laughing so hard. "β€˜Cause I’m on top of the world, eh, I’m on top of the world, eh, waiting on this for a while now, paying my dues to the dirt, I’ve been waiting to smile, eh, been holding it in for a while, eh, Take you with me if I can, Been dreaming of this since a child, I’m on top of the world," was sung, off key and beat from the front. Dillon groaned, laughing a little as she called into the back seat for Lucky to show him how it's done. "I'm afraid he's a lost cause," Lucky called to the front with a grin.

Lucky's grin slowly faded into a smile as she got comfortable against Landon's side and returned to her sketch. The beach would be pretty cool, but in comparison to everywhere else they were going to go it kinda seemed a little boring. How could she compare a beach to the ruins of Rome or the Sydney Opera House? Excitement vibrated through her as she glanced out of the window, trying to enjoy the song through Monty's singing. She loved her friends, and there was no way this trip was not going to be amazing. "Where are we stopping first, anyway, Dill," she called over the music. It was a legit question, since they hadn't really planned anything out and none of them had exactly thought this trip through. In honesty, she didn't really care where they went or how they got there; as long as they were together.

Going To The Beach

ImageImage

β€œYou hear that, even she knows I'm better than you,” said Hugo when Lucky admitted to Monty being a lost cause.

There was always a way Hugo could make himself feel superior but at the moment he was stuffed at the very back of the van with Chandler. There was nothing superior in being kicked out of the passenger seat, having to crawl past Lucky and Landon because they were taking all the room, and ending up in the back. Instead he looked at Chandler and smiled.

He was one of the few people who knew all about Chandler's special past and difficulties. So he quietly asked, β€œHow are you doing?” It wasn't a questions he would casually ask anyone, because his tone held care and affection. He loved Chandler very much and hated to know that she was suffering deep down. For his friends he would do anything, he couldn't help needing to assist them in their time of need.

Dillon was still laughing at Lucky's truth speaking about Monty. She also couldn't look as Monty's grumpy face without giggling. He clearly just had his ego broken and Hugo never helped with that. Dillon reached over to Monty and ruffled his hair.

β€œBy the way I never thanked you for the minibus,” Dillon took her eyes off the road for a second and whispered a thank you to Monty then answered Lucky's question, β€œWell, we are going to Porthcurno beach which will be only one or two hours from Plymouth where we will get a ferry to France. That's as far as my plan goes.”

Porthcurno was at the very tip of the bottom left side of England which meant that the road trip would be long since they were leaving from London. Dillon let Monty take care of the music and everyone else did what they did. For Hugo, sleeping what what he did. He wasn't all that good at long trips he always found sleeping was the best way to get through it. Since Dillon was driving she tried to take in everything she was seeing. She was planning on writing a journal of their trip.

After the long drive they arrived at Porthcurno Beach, it was around 3p.m. So there was plenty of time to set camp and swim in the cold ocean water. Dillon parked the minibus at the first spot she could find. There were quite a lot of people at the beach because all students, especially college students had no more class. It was summer time and some cold water as a gift.

"I assure you, my dear lady, it is not a case of needing to buff up," Chandler shoots back with a grin, leaning back in her seat and crossing her arms to form a cushion for her head, looking perfectly relaxed and exceedingly arrogant. That is probably the young woman's favorite way to appear- confident to a fault, as though she has the world at her feet and is absolutely aware of it. Acting in such a manner is a lot more fun than actually being open about her insecurities, or shriveling up like a raisin faced with the sun. "I don't know, Lulu. You nearly rival Dillon for the girliest in the group," she responds to Lucky's comment about flowery tattoos, stroking her chin as though there is a beard there while she pretends to ponder her own statement for a moment before grinning once more, incapable of keeping up the solemn expression for too long.

"I am all for a trip to the bar, on the other hand," she says with approval to the newest idea to be introduced. To be honest, up until the last year or two, Chandler never really drank. Alcohol wasn't her thing and to this day, she isn't actually particularly fond of it. Yet, she's been drinking more and more frequently, no longer demonstrating the same strict rules that she once held to in order to keep herself in top physical condition at all times. It was a slow and steady change, but now she just bites her tongue for the first few beers until she has grown tipsy enough to not care anymore, at which point she proceeds to get roaring drunk. She takes alcohol well, usually, having a high tolerance, but once she's finally reached the point of complete drunkenness, it's all over, and those around her are subjected to a more exaggerated version of herself, the emphasis on goofiness.

"You two should be a professional duo- you'd be a great slapstick act," Chandler muses, addressing Landon and Hugo with this comment. Monty is the next act in what is beginning to seem like a three ring circus, as he pushes his way to the front seat and begins belting out a tune by Imagine Dragons, grinning as he sings. Chandler laughs at the scene, and begins singing with him at the top of her lungs, dancing along with those who are doing so, though her dancing makes a point to be silly looking, because Chandler doesn't really dance- not in a serious way, that is.

A little bit more serious is when Hugo looks over at her and, in a strangely soft voice, asks if she's okay. Chandler is visibly surprised for a moment, not expecting the question, though it is a perfectly normal one. Instantly she appears uncomfortable, because she knows perfectly well what he is referring to and, to be honest, doesn't really like to talk about things like that with other people, unless she's really drunk. In all other situations, she can be rather defensive, unfortunately. "Why wouldn't I be?" she asks him, her expression darkened for a second, a frown pulling down at what once had been a smile. "I'm perfectly fine," she adds, still frowning, almost daring him to challenge this fact. Not wanting to stay on this topic, she turns back to the other seats and joins back in with the laughter and such, pushing seriousness away. In reality, she hasn't eaten in three days.

---

When they finally reach the beach and park, Chandler is one of the first to get out of the minivan, climbing over the others and falling out into the sand. She rolls over and springs herself up, putting her hands on her hips and stretching her back out. "Yes! This is what I'm talkin' about!" she says with a wide smile.

Landon didn't even have time to move over before Monty climbed over and around him, Lucky, and whoever else was in his way on his journey to the front of the van. "β€˜Cause I’m on top of the world, eh, I’m on top of the world, eh, waiting on this for a while now, paying my dues to the dirt, I’ve been waiting to smile, eh, been holding it in for a while, eh, Take you with me if I can, Been dreaming of this since a child, I’m on top of the world!" Landon ran a hand through his hair, remembering Hugo's earlier comment about his 'perfect' dance. "I still say you couldn't hold a candlestick to the Jamaicans," he shrugged, watching people move from seat to seat. Landon looked over at Lucky to find her still laughing like it was the most hilarious thing, and he couldn't help but laugh at her. "I'm afraid he's a lost cause," she finally said, responding to Dillon from the front seat. If all of this was happening just on the van, he could only imagine what would happen once they were off.

As things settled down, Hugo found a space in the back with Chandler, and Landon alternated between watching Lucky's sketch and watching the changing scenery outside the window. "Well, we are going to Porthcurno beach which will be only one or two hours from Plymouth where we will get a ferry to France. That's as far as my plan goes.” So the beach was, for sure, they're first stop, then to France. Landon was pretty excited for France; accents. Then again, most places he hadn't been to had some sort of accent. Some might say he and the gang had an accent. Landon did kind of want to try the snails and the fancy bread, though. After all, once you've seen the tower, isn't that what you did in France? Looking out the window, he smirked at the thought. He was sure there was more to do than that, but you never really heard much about France other than snails and accents, you know.

Finally they arrived at the beach, and Chandler was the first to climb over everyone and tip out onto the sand. "Yes! This is what I'm talkin' about!". Landon laughed, climbing out of the van after her. It was about time they got somewhere. It couldn't of been late, judging by how bright it was, and the beach was crawling with young people; college kids getting a break from work. "Finally something to see other than the back of everyone's head," Landon laughed, looking around the beach. "c'mon everybody!"

Lucky wasn't sure how much time had passed, but the next thing she knew, Landon was sliding out from under her, causing her to slump against the seat. She had fallen asleep at some point. She smiled as the smell of the ocean instantly filled the car. "Yes! This is what I'm talkin' about!" Kennedy was nearly chirping causing a sleepy smile to bring Lucky out of her dream state. She rubbed her eyes and stretched out her body, much like a cat. Landon had just gotten out of the car, the cause of her awakening, and he was saying "Finally something to see other than the back of everyone's head, c'mon everybody!"

Lucky took her time with putting up her sketch so that Hugo would have time to climb out if he wanted to. The beach smelled wonderful, and she was mentally cussing her bikini which was still hiding away in her bags. After Hugo had gotten out of the van, Lucky shimmied her way into the very back to dig through her bag for her bikini. There was no way she was going to miss this chance to get in the water! She grabbed her bag to put her clothes in and headed to the bathroom hut to change. "I'm getting in my bikini, Dill, you coming," she called over her shoulder. She waited for a moment for Dillon to catch up or deny her and then went back to her trek up the hill to the hut.

After she had changed, she made a b-line for the van to drop off her bag, and then redirected herself straight for the water. Her bikini was a simple all black, which contrasted starkly against her pale skin. Because the sun was well in the sky, since it was 3pm, she decided to put on her sunglasses. Lucky giggled as she jogged down the beach towards the water. "Last one in is buying the first round!" Knowing that everyone would be bolting for the water now, and also aware that she would never beat Kennedy, she made it her goal to outrun at least Dillon.

Lucky squealed as she ran as fast as she could, trying not to trip over herself in the sand. The water was freezing, but it felt amazing against the heat of the English day. Her momentum was quickly killed by the water, but she didn't stop until she was chest deep in the water.

At The Beach

Hugo was glad to see Chandler was feeling better so he just shrugged and smiled at her question response. He always kept a watching eye on every one of his friends so seeing that Chandler was ready to hit the bar was a great sign. Dillon was still giggling at herself about Chandler's comment before about Lucky basically competing with Dillon for the girliest position in the group. Dillon really didn't care how Kennedy saw her, it was true that Dillon had some girlish likes for example her favorite movie is Tinker Bell and he Fairy Friends. Why was it her favorite movie? Because there is nothing bad, no bad guys, nothing, just happy.

β€œYes! This is what I'm talkin' about!”

β€œEasy Texas gal,” Dillon tried to take on a southern accent mixed in with her British tone.

Hugo had just woken up from his long road trip nap and remembered what Landon had said earlier about him not being able to beat a Jamaican, β€œWell you know Jamaicans, they have contortionist hips which makes them unbeatable. . .” Hugo's attempt in explaining himself went into thin air when Landon ran off to the beach telling everyone to follow behind.

Lucky was still sitting in the minibus so Hugo took the opportunity to check out her drawing. He let his head rest on the seat and then said, β€œIt's very beautiful, I can't wait to see more of them.”

He then nudged his was out of the minibus and stretched his legs. β€œI'm getting in my bikini, Dill, you coming?” Hugo's ears perked when he heard the word 'bikini'. There was nothing better than girls in a bathing suit and he wasn't talking about Lucky and Dillon. He unbuttoned his shirt and started walking toward the woman filled, sandy, warm shore. He was going to love this beach.

β€œI'm coming!” Dillon grabbed her bikini after locking the doors to the minibus when everyone was out, she had her towel and her bikini filling her hands so she put the keys in her mouth.

Once she had changed, everyone was on the beach and Lucky declared that the last one in the water was buying the first round so Dillon dashed toward the water. She pushed Monty aside and was so close to beating Chandler but only made it third in the water.

Having planned on pestering Dillon to stop at the beach from the get-go, Chandler doesn't need to change into her bathing suit. She's wearing board shorts as pants, and beneath her simple T-shirt is a bathing suit top, of course. The young woman grins over at Dillon when the girl makes a comment about Chandler's American accent, which still comes out through her acquired British one now and again. "We can't all be perfect British Ladies- right Lulu?" The athletic young woman addresses Lucky, who is just now coming out with her bikini on. Lucky, like Chandler, comes originally from the states. Of course, she's a West Coast girl, whereas Chandler comes from Texas, a state known for being big and, more often than not, diehard Republican. Of course, she had been raised by a British father, to be fair, and so her accent had been a lot slighter than other people, because her parents didn't have the strong accents.

"I dunno, Landon- you guys have pretty attractive head backs," Chandler comments, her smile cracking back through the feigned solemn expression once more. The young woman interweaves her fingers behind her head, rolling her neck because it has grown stiff from being in the car for far too long. While this road trip is going to be interesting, if nothing else, she does hope that they won't spend too much time in the car, or else she may just stiffen up like an old tree or something. If it comes down to it, Chandler is perfectly willing to try her chances at laying on the roof, gripping madly to the railings on each side. Actually, to be honest, that doesn't sound like too bad of an idea. She's done it before, although that was on a country back road, and it was fun, if a bit dangerous and a bit hard at times.

Lucky doesn't even have to finish her challenge before Chandler's expression has lit up at the sound of competition. Before she's even named the stakes, only having said 'last one in', the young woman is darting forward, pushing past everyone else on her way to the ocean. For a bit of foul play, she pulls off her shirt while running and tosses it into Lucky's face. "You're on, twinkle toes," Chandler says, accepting the challenge a bit late, as she has already run into the water and dived straight into an oncoming wave, coming up with soaking hair and a grin on her face. "First!" she declares proudly as Lucky splashes in after her.

"You stick to singing, Lulu- I'll stick to athletics," Chandler says with a grin, almost ironic because she hasn't really stuck to her sports- only to keeping herself in shape and occasionally playing around. Having won the race, Chandler comes out of the water, pushing hair out of her face with her hand and looking around at the beach and beach goers. She rolls her shoulders back and turns back towards Dillon and Lucky.

"Come on, losers!"
