"'Ey! Look who it is! Whot migh'chu' be doin' out here, you bloo'y beast!" One of the inn's patrons asked with a large grin.
The heavily armored man removed his feathered helm, and looked across the few people in the inn. "Primarily, to ask how many of this town would fight in the name of the human kingdom. Zabrigo requests soldiers for his Imperial Army, and is offering grand rewards to those whom at least fight in the name of your King, and his Kingdom. Fifty gold pieces will be given to each family upon simply joining the war effort, and 25 for each month you are away from home. Your armor and weaponry will be provided, and so will be provisions that you need during the war. Most forget how wealthy we humans are." The blonde haired crusader annouced. "Get all those whom are interested in joining, and gather them here. Once I have count, we will head back to the kingdom on the 'morrow."
The crowd, almost seemed rallied by such a simple speach...just because he was the one giving it. Men and women alike talked briefly amongst themselves. Before long more people entered the inn, with friends in tow. They began to chitter amongst themselves before a man in a semi-formal suit came up to him. "Well, it seems like you've recruited quite a few of our townspeople...but we've a proposition for you, Urvant..." The short man said as he looked up at the knight.
"Speak freely around me, sir. I am not above listening to your requests." Urvant responded boldly, but with a smile.
"V-very good then. Well...you see, some of the townspeople are worried. They see a light coming from a short distance away, and are afraid that it might be a camp of bandits, or marauders! I-if you could investigate and report back we'd all be very much relieved!" He told the blonde haired giant.
"Understandable. I oblige." Was the crusader's respsonse. He donned his helmet again, and started out of the door...
He didn't get far before he saw what the mayor spoke of; a dull glow in the distance, a bonfire most likely. He started off in it's direction, keeping his pace mild and relaxed.
As he encroached the fire, he began to analyze his situation. He was in his full armor, that clanked like two bars of heavy iron smashing against each other with each step. Whatever had set up camp would surely hear him, without supernatural hearing. Then there was the issue of lighting...the moon lit the area almost vividly, which was good for him and bad for him at the same time. He could see...but in his armor, he almost literally glowed in the dark as the pale moonlight washed over his reflective steel armor. He could cover his body with his cloak, but it would still leave his head uncovered, a beacon of unstealthiness if there ever was one. Sneaking would be impossible.
He kept his hand on the pommel of his blade as the actual fire came into view...and so did it's occupants. It looked to be one man, whom was lying on a bedroll. Still armored too. Perhaps he had fallen asleep waiting for others...Urvant could never be sure. Still. He slowly approached the man, his armor making as much sound as he predicted it would in the dead silence of the night. Almost positive, this man will awaken. The crusader thought...

"Whos dares sneak up on me while I am trying to sleep. Seriously douche move!" He said looking around his camp.

She walked out slowly, on all fours, keeping herself as close to the ground as possible. She wasn't like her fellow wolves, she was bright red and easy to spot. She sneaked up.
"Slowly...," she whispered to herself, trying her hardest not to be noticed. She then made a vital mistake, she forgot to look at the ground. She stepped on a twig and winced just a little, ducking lower to the ground. He stomach growled and now, she knew that she was doomed. If he hadn't heard that, he was deaf. If not deaf, than he must have really wanted that older man dead.

Urvant didn't hesitate to draw his own blade, the steel shimmering brightly in the moonlight as it screached from it's sheath. He took a moderately offensive stance, and readied his blade, calling out to the other man. "If you value your life, boy, then put away your blade! Otherwise, I might have to end you." His voice was rock steady, and stern. It probably boomed in the remote silence of the night, echoing against the ebon curtain that shadowed the world.
He gripped his blade agressively, and spun it around his body in a whirlwind of steel and rage. The blade's impressive girth soared through the air to the weilder's exact command. This blade was his life; his legacy. He knew how to use it perfectly. And he wasn't afraid to let this man go without knowing it. He finished his small demo, by taking the blade in one hand, and holding it in front of him, the keen edge mirroring the lunar body in the sky. "And pick the wise choice, friend." He added. He noticed not what had made the twig snapping sound. He was focused on his foe.

"I don't want a fight buddy!" He said smirking. "You kinda stick out. Your huge! Just come out" Owari said sitting back down. He knew who this man was. He had heard various legends of him. He was a great warrior.

She began to think about it, it had been a long time since her last meal... After all, she hadn't seen anything edible that didn't belong to another lately.... That was her reason for wanting this boys chicken... It was just chicken...

He made his way towards the scent as men and steel usually meant a fight was brewing. Men, such brash creatures they were. In a timely matter however, he arrived at the campsite, but quietly stood in the darkness. With his heightened eyes he saw a rather large man encased in steel, a smaller man and a chicken roasting over an open cook fire. Then he caught the scent of the other wolf again, this time closer. He then eyed the chicken and then it made sense why a wolf would brave two rough knights such as these.
He strode confidently into the middle of the camp, claws raised to show the man he meant no harm. Whether or not this work depended on the man and if he provoked first. Men were easily frightened into attacking those different from him, which Eclipse never shared. Perhaps it was him being different himself but still...
"Hello there human." He said in a polite educated, but bestial, manner. "I see that you have already have company." He said, ear twitching towards wear the other man was located. "But I was wondering if you have room for an old hound?" He asked the man. "Ah, my manners. Hello there to you too Sir Knight. What brings a grizzled knight out to the middle of nowhere, eh?" he asked. Then he stared into the darkness to where he smelled the female wolf. He let his snout curl into a smile and winked with a scarred eye.

He advanced towards the boy, whom he looked down at...making him remember how very tall he way in the first place. "A good option, comrade. You seem non-hostile..." He said with his robust voice again. "Alas, what might you be doing out here? There is an perfectly decent human town just east of here. Why did you not take of residence there for the night?" He asked, with his echoing explosion of an voice. He tried his best to be polite about it, but he was failing quite miserably.
"But the important thing is you are not hostile. You see, the townspeople of said town were afraid that this fire was one of a group of brigands. I see, though, that it is not. Furthermore-..." He stopped mid-sentence as he saw an old, battered looking wolf in a dress-like garb walk into the middle of the camp, like he owned the place. His hand dashed to his blade again, but the wolf's hands were mildly held in the air, to show he meant no harm. He generally disliked the wolf race as a whole, but he was supposed to be a crusader; chilvalrous to all. He stood upright again, and gave a small bow to the wolf-man. The furry humanoid spoke to the group.
"Hello, my weary looking friend. It is not my fire to be speaking for, so I cannot answer. But the gentleman doesn't seem to mind company, so I would assume you are welcome as any other. As for your other question, I am out gathering recruits for our Kingdom. It may seem a tad foolish, or unneeded, but Zibrigo wishes to reestasblish humans as a contender on the map. We shall not be underestimated." He said with a relitively kind voice; as kind as the old crusader could muster.
But the old wolf seemed distracted by...something, as he turned his head away. The hulking knight in armor peered over the rest of the group, trying to see what on earth it was...

The man jabbed his hand out at Urvant with a grin. The blonde haired crusader eagerly grasped the hand, and shook it firmly. "An odd question for someone whom travels alone. I could not rightly take you into the order of Pelor. It takes many years to become a paladin or crusader. I might be able to train you in the way of blade, but I've my own few questions to ask as well. Whom are you, sir? You bear steel skin, and yet it is unmarked with your belief or alignment. Your name?" He inquired, his broad face taking a more gentle, but still strong look to it. His worn face would show his age, and experience.

"However, I'll let him get a head start. It shouldn't be a problem catching up to him in a timely fashion." The wolf said as he sat heavily down on a fallen tree. "Heavy armor and what not." He explained. Eclipse also wanted to stay behind to talk with the other wolf. It's not often he runs into some of his own kin and was quite curious as to their predicament.
"Still, he is a strange one." He beast chuckled, far be it for him to call another strange

As she nibbled on the chicken she looked at the bigger man. He was clad in armor and had quite a big sword. He still seemed to dislike her kind, but she wasn't sure why she thought that. She shook off the thought and glanced at the samurai wolf that she was now beside. She swallowed the bite in her mouth and smiled a him, letting her sharp teeth show. He probably could tell she was female, but she could always just make up some sort of story about that one. She took another bite of her chicken and looked at the fire. It wasn't a fire any longer, but just smoke and ash. That made her a little sad... She would have liked to sit by a real fire... She took one last bite of the chicken before deciding to speak up.
"Name's Reks. I'm a lone male. I was hungry, so I thought I would take this guys chicken," She figured that the other wolf would question her, but didn't make another comment. She kept a slight glance on the bigger man though, just in case.

"Why yes! You can have that!" He said sarcastically walking over and snatching it out the wolfs hands. He then took a bite out of it. Then spit it back out. He then gave it back to the wolf. 'It's cold.' He said poutting.

Before the man could reply, a orange quadriped crawled forth from the shadows...it was as if it didn't know it was visable. It swiped the man's chicken...and began to eat. He turned his attention back to Eclipse. "Bushido is an honorable path that Pelor accepts as rightious. It is good that you follow some code, friend." Finally, the other furred humanoid spoke. Urvant replied. "It would've been easier to ask. It is late night, and if you wish to dine, then you should allow me to take you back to the inn. I would not mind allowing those to eat that needed it. All of you." He said. "And if anyone has word against it, they can take their issues up with myself." He would say with a boasting smile.
But he himself would stride to the fireside, or what was left of it...the wolfess looked kind of disapointed, and the boy had came back to claim his chicken...only to.... Well. Rude little brat, isn't he? His mind urged to scream.
"Reks, Eclipse, what might bright you two out here into the human lands anyhow? It is none of my business, but I am curious. Moving around as a wolf here is almost like claiming to be a vampire: Nothing but trouble." He asked lightly.

"No. nO I'm okay. This is starting to get annoying! You know what they say two's a party three's a crowd." He said laughing. "And no thanks gramps!" He said throwing up a peace sign behind his back walking away. "This is my story. If you want to be a side character your welcome to it!" He said walking off in a stride.

"Didn't someone teach you to respect your elders kid? That could end up with you dead and bleeding with some older guy laughing over your body," She took a last bite of the chicken and swallowed it hastely. She looked to the bigger man once more and smiled at him.
"I'm here because I don't really have much a taste for my old pack. We got attacked when I was younger, and I can understand why now. My pack killed for fun, and that I don't enjoy." She snorted a little and leaned back against the old log. "If you're really offering food then I'll gladly accept. I'm hungry. After all, I haven't seen much I would kill and eat lately. Expect maybe that boy," She gave a slight tilt of the head toward Owari, "But I think he would be a bit to chewy. So food sounds nice. Thanks for the offer!" She smiled once again and glance to the samurai. He should come too. She lifted a foot and scratched her ear for a moment, then noticed she had no names.
"Ah... I may have been stalking you to get the chicken, but I never caught names. I know this wolf here is Eclipse, just from listening just now, but who are you friend? I would feel rude to call you something that isn't your name." She twitched her ears and looked around a little. Half of her still wanted to jump on Owari, but she resisted the temptation and gave a laugh to attempt knocking away the anger.

"As for me being out here... Well, being trained by a human doesn't exactly help my standing within our packs. They see it as betrayal as my pack was slain by humans. I've learned to accept that fate and forgive so I wander the land. Perhaps one day I'll settle down with a pack of my own. But that is far off." He said
Then Owari said one of his outbursts, this time enticing them to join them. Eclipse scratched the side of his head with his claws. "This one is going to get himself killed... Sadly I can not let that happened." He said. Then Eclipse stood up. "I'll go, if only just to save the people of Raix. Bushido compels me. As for making me a legend, boy. I believe I can handle that just fine on my own. After all, a samurai doesn't look to serve himself, but those around him." Eclipse said.

"I must be going back, though. Adventure would be pleasant, but I've got a job to do before I can enjoy myself. " He said. He walked over to the one that called himself Reks, the ground quaking as he entered the man's close proximity. "And yes, my friend. You may come to the village with me. I will make sure you have a plesant stay here." He said with a grin. "And it's Urvant." He would add.
"Well, Eclipse, and Owari, may the light protect your travels. And I hope that our paths cross again." He would say, as most holy fighters were bound to say to comrades. He motioned for Reks to come along, putting his helm back upon his head, and walking towards the town he had came from.

It was late and she was getting tired, she'd hardly slept due to the vastness of the souvenirs she'd seen and bought. It was all she could think of. She made her way to the little tavern/inn they had there. Each time she'd entered, there was a strong aroma of men, men and beer. She quickly make her way through to the stairs and into her room, trying not to get into any trouble. It worked each time, except this. Behind her she heard, "What a pretty little elf we have here. Hey elf! why don't you come and have a seat with us and have a drink?" He held up his mug, making a friendly gesture to have a drink. Lunqa didn't want to seem rude, but she didn't want to be in this room any longer, she was getting a serious headache. She turned around and politely said, "I'm sorry, but I must get to bed." The man stood up and got angry, "Oh I see it, you fancy creatures just hate us humans, huh? Tis one human you didn't want to get upset!" He drew a giant sword out from his side, half the size of him, and he was nearly seven feet. Lunqa was shocked at the size of the sword and the man. Confidently, she drew her rapier. The whole room burst with laughter, laughing at the size of their blades compared. To the average man, the bigger sword always wins. To an elf, the greatest speed and accuracy wins. She had the upper hand, since the man was drinking and he looked disoriented.
The man took a bow and said, "I am Gort, and you shall die." He swing the sword over his head and charged in, screaming. Lunqa smirked and said, "You left yourself open." With elf like speed, she ran forward catching the mans chest with her blade. She sliced his chest and blood splattered everywhere. Wiping the blade off she said, "Don't try to move, I severed several organs that can be healed if you do it quick enough. Moving would only make it worse." Walking past him on the ground, he was panting hard. "Get a healer in here!" A few men ran out the door. Lunqa just made her way to her room, and laid down on her bed. "Men, so worthless."

"Good bye Eclipse. Hope to see you again," She spoke in her usual voice. She didn't care to cover up the fact she was female at this point. He probably didn't care. She slowly followed behind Urvant. He was tall, at least for a human. She looked at him for a moment, looking for a way to start a conversation. She then noticed something that was more that obvious.
"Sir Urvant, why is it that you wear all that heavy armor? I can understand wearing some to protect yourself, but that is an awful lot. It takes away your ability to be stealthy, because it's so heavy and all." She knew it wasn't really her place to comment. She just wanted to start up a conversation. She scratched her ear with her hand and looked ahead.
