|| Personality ||
Rune comes off at first glance as the âSilent, Mysteriousâ type. He rarely speaks outside of his guild members or battle, and the only time youâll really hear anything out him is if he finds you interesting enough to bother with, or when ordering supplies. Usually his guild members speak for him when in any social encounter outside of battle when he canât be bothered with such trifles, and he simply keeps to himself when around strangers.
This fact is true because he finds interactions with insignificant players to be both unnecessary and a waste of time. However, when comfortable, he has no problem speaking his mind. Rune is strange in that way- his vocalizations depend on his mood. If irritated, he becomes fairly animated, and has no restrictions about kicking, slapping, or punching a person to get them to shut up- though this is usually done in a good-natured manner, and only around his guild members. Despite this, Rune is pretty accepting of everyoneâs personality, though when it comes to cocky weaklings, or those he decides are not worth the time, he definitely puts a gap between them and immediately gains the desire to crush them in every possible way or he outright abandons them.
Rune is a strategist, and exceptionally confident when it comes to his own skills. He started the game as a self-reliant individual, only bothering to join a guild because he figured it would be to his advantage. What he did not suspect, however, was how he would bond with the individuals in his group. Heâs loyal only to them, only truly laid back when around them, and only affectionate with them. Unless itâs one of his very tight-knit group of friends, the same applies to them, but when with them, heâs animated as well. This is because, in outside circumstances, Guild-Rune is a very different person from Friend-Rune. Guildwise, he holds himself with lazy nobility and an air that subtly portrays, âI surpass you in every wayâ.
Friendwise, he jokes around, smiles, ignores everyone and everything else other than said friend, and is laid back and easygoing even when out in public. In other words, Rune distinctly separates work and play from one another.
He does not back down from a challenge, and enjoys the thrill of victory more than anything else.
Between weak and strong players, Cooking seems to be his neutral zone. Regardless of a personâs level, personality, outlook on the game, stats, etc. Rune is always more than excited to talk about cooking. He becomes a completely different person- excited, cheerful, rambunctious, chatty- when anyone asks him for a meal or about certain ingredients and whatnot.

As a world-renown hacker, itâs obvious that Cain chose to play Eden. The hype about the game was too big, too entertaining, too promising to overlook. With time, he could make another fortune off the game in his own way. With a new goal in sight, he bought the game as soon as was possible for him to, and intended to learn the basic tricks of the game. Not only this, but the type of game it was, with new controls and mind-sync, he wanted to play it just to play it as well. However, things did not go as planned. When he first logged on and then discovered that he could not log out, a deep sense of irritation flourished within him, unlike all other players with their sense of panic.
The main source of his calmness was the fact that he did not have anywhere to be in real life, that he could surpass the requirements to obtain his log-out button, and that he liked a hard challenge. He did not expect things to take so long, though.
Rune simply wants out because he hates being a burden to others in real life, and in succumbing to Eden in Norway when visiting a close friend, he forced that friend to care for him. Asides from being a burden, Rune also detests being indebted to someone. In all truth, when he accomplishes the ability to log-out, he probably wonât abandon the game, but rather take care of things in real life and then return on his terms and time.

|| Biography ||
Initially born in Australia, Cain has done a lot of travelling in his life. Though that was never necessarily a good thing until he came to the age of 11. His parents died to natural disasters when he was young, so he bounced around the foster care quite a bit. His first home was centered in Michigan, as an American couple had come to Australia and adopted him, taking them back home with them.
The couple ended up unable to keep him, so once more he was sent through the system. The next family he was not so lucky with- they were cruel and would lash out at him any time he made too much noise. Cainâs always been a self-reliant individual, and he ended up taking care of himself more than half of the time. By his eleventh year and three more foster homes, he decided he had finally had enough.
He ran away, and with a passport in hand, and snuck onto a plane to Italy. There he was once more picked off the streets, and was introduced to his most fervent passion- cooking. He seemed to be a natural at it, and always helped during meals. At twelve, he was introduced to the world of computers, and, just as his chef talent, flourished at coding.
Eventually he gained renown throughout the world through hacking, and he prospered pretty well through it. He gained funds to further travel the world to visit gaming conventions, meet others like him, and visit friends he had made.
It was in Norway while visiting a close friend of his that he fell into the clutches of EDEN. While heâs stuck in the game, real life does not pose too many fortunes for him, and other than cooking- which he can do in game- thereâs no real point to returning. But ever since he was little, he liked winning, liked being ahead of other people and safe.
His true goal is to enjoy the game to its fullest, and he decided early on that he wanted to exit through the tournament rather than play hide and seek. That game was not his strong point other than hiding, so he decided he wouldnât even bother with it. However, heâs already found one of the Game Masters despite this, but hardly cares about it. Cielo and Arch are pretty close friends despite the obvious complications between their positions.
