Damon has a head of short black hair and a doesn't especially stand out from a crowd. He has moderate muscular definition from his active lifestyle but is no brute. Though he doesn't care what he wears, he can usually be seen wearing a black shirt and jeans, sometimes with a jacket over this. He can also be seen occasionally wearing a tracksuit.
His superhero costume is very bare, as it only includes a mask and a gauntlet over his right arm. The mask resembles a skull, almost as if it were to be Death's face, which is very unfitting for a superhero. For his arm, the gauntlet includes a sleeve that reaches to his shoulder and is darker colored, with the appearance of a demon's claw.

Damon's hands are riddled with scars, evidence of his earlier fights.

✦ Blunt ✧ Realistic ✦ Deadpan ✧ Untrusting✦
Although he has come to attend an academy for those who wish to become heros, Damon really just doesn't fit one's expectations of one. He does not appear very sympathetic and can be seen speaking with disdain to those a hero would most likely be comforting. He doesn't hide his negative opinions and seems to care very little about hurting another's feelings. Furthermore, he doesn't speak to or about heroes with any form of respect, and even seems to have an intense disliking of them.
As a person, Damon isn't particularly bad nor is he good. He simply doesn't care enough. It is rare for him to go out of his way to speak to someone, but will most likely reply when engaged by the other party. He likes his conversations to be short and to the point and doesn't reveal anything personal about himself that isn't obvious from a glance and in return doesn't ask anything personal of other people. It should be noted that he tends to expect everybody to know this about him without him telling and is fairly irritated by the kinds of people who get overly familiar for no reason. But at the worst someone who is too nosy will simply be told that they are barking up the wrong tree, albeit quite aggressively. Almost without exception, Damon saves physical arguments for the villains, though his open hostility against heroes can cause some situations with people whom are quite heated about the subject.
He is nothing special when it comes to academics. Having missed some school in the past, he has only recently caught up and likely just barely managed to make his way into the academy in that regard. One could never call him a genius, but he is quite clever in certain regards. He has street smarts and has a fairly reliable gut instinct that usually steers him the right way -- at least to him. He has since developed a knack for spotting two-faced people and will immediately, personally call them out on it (alone, however, because he simply doesn't care what they do to others with that second face). He is a person who makes his feelings known for the most part, will tell people if he particularly dislikes them, and is actually rather genuine. Rare, though possible, he will give a compliment. He absolutely respects power, after all. He does believe power comes in all forms, not simply the kind of strength he desires, and can applaud academic, mental, or physical strength. At least as long as it's not to the misfortune of others.
Damon is very capable of respecting not only those who impress or beat him, but himself. Or rather, his ability. He does not use it recklessly, as there is no room for such behavior. He realizes his Quirk could easily cause irreparable damage and thusly will either not use it at all or reserve it for defense/utility when he does not intend to kill someone. Which means that if he does decide to swing it around, it is because he has thought it through and does desire to kill someone. In some cases, perhaps, he might attempt to only disable an opponent but do so with the knowledge that he could accidentally end up killing them. In the end, he always assumes it could be fatal.

Eliminate
Through the use of his Quirk, Damon is capable of outright erasing things from the universe by touching it to the palm of his right hand. Should there be space erased by the Quirk, the voided space will be filled and "stitched up" by adjacent space and objects, effectively removing any traces of the removed objects ever existing. When space is erased, objects in the surrounding place are pulled towards the center of the deleted space until it is repaired. Currently, he is incapable of manifesting the power in anyplace other than his right palm.
S T R E N G T H S
✦Versatile-ish Power - His Quirk bypasses any sort of defense, meaning that blocking it is out of the question. And it isn't just useful as an attack -- he can use it to remove debris or obstacles as well and if timed well, he can block with it too. To a limited degree, he can also drag people towards him or drag himself towards them by removing the space between them.
✧Improvised CQC - Rather than being formally trained, Damon learned how to defend himself after his first fight. While he was not able to learn the technique a martial art would provide, he can take a hit and dish out a stronger one in return, and isn't afraid to get hurt to land a decisive blow.
✦Objective - Damon is almost always frank, with very few exceptions. He does not butter things up nor does he let anything cloud his judgement when making important decisions, even if his goals may be emotionally-driven. This allows him to acknowledge when something is too much for him or even give good advice on a situation, if an objective viewpoint would benefit one.
✧True Vision - A positive trait of having little trust in anybody (and mostly being free from bias) is being able to see through two-faced people. He is very keen on spotting people putting on a charade, whether it be because they have ulterior motives or because they're attempting to hide how they feel. Of course, as this is merely a mix between gut feelings and being able to pick up on habits such types have, he usually only identify that someone is wearing a mask, not what they are beneath.
✦Fighting Dirty- He doesn't care about how he wins, as long as he does in a fight. Damon will throw sand, abuse any information about his opponent, and even kick someone in the groin.
W E A K N E S S E S
✦Unsympathetic - He has a hard time relating to other people and can unintentionally downplay people's problems. He tends to rely on logic over emotion and this can lead to conflict.
✧Situational Quirk- Damon's Quirk has the potential to be very strong, but can also be pitifully weak. Normally, any form of cell you put him in would be pointless as he could simply destroy it, but restrain his hands? He can't use his ability. In fact, forcing his hand closed would make him no different than a Quirkless human. His right hand is currently the only way he can manifest his Quirk, which means taking it out of the fight will render him normal.
✦Defiant - He does not take orders from people, merely suggestions.
✧Streetfighter - Lack of martial arts training means that he can struggle against someone who is both trained and experienced in actual fighting. In these cases, he would likely attempt to bait mistakes from his opponent, but he'd still be at a disadvantage in the fight.
✦Deadpan Snarker - Has a very bad habit of making witty comments, at least once he's closer to people.

✦Working Out - "Physical health is important, after all."
✧Gaming/Comics/Manga/Anime - "I have my hobbies."
✦Listening to Music - "Who doesn't?"
H A B I T S
✧Quirk - He is known to repeatedly close his right hand and open it when he is feeling nervous, embarrassed, or thinking deeply.
✦Humming - "Hmm? Oh, you heard that...?" He is usually humming the last song he listened to, and does so quite often when he believes he is alone.
✧"Tsch" - His oddest habit would be that he makes a "tsch" noise to grab someone's attention, something he hasn't be able to drop (That, or he simply doesn't want to).
L I K E S
✦Animals - Dogs and cats most of all. He speaks rather softly and kindly to them, and enjoys giving them attention. Loves petting their ears.
✧Spicy Food - Nothing insane, though. He enjoys it when food has a small kick to it, such as jalapenos on nachos, or spicy chicken. He is also known to eat at fast food joints often.
✦Music - Not limited to one genre, though he mostly dislikes rap and hop. He is known to listen to older rock/metal, country, and even enjoys music from anime, and instrumental music as well.
✧Long Nights - Tends to favor nocturnal situations due to them being quieter. He is known to pull the occasional all-nighter, doing nothing but playing games and reading comics.
✦Strawberries - Like is an understatement. Trauma? from his childhood has given him a very dangerous liking of strawberries, and could even be used to bribe him for a favor, maybe.
D I S L I K E S
✧Abuse of Power - "If you're strong, why do you lower yourself to preying on the weak?"
✦Sweets - "It is more of a general dislike, but exceptions exist."
✧Heroes - "Where were the real heroes when I needed them?"
✦Villains - "Occupation description - 'Be an unlikeable prick'"
✧Idealism - "Ideally, you wouldn't be so delusional."
G O A L S
✦Become Stronger - As long as there's someone stronger than him, there's a chance he'll be helpless again. He absolutely won't let that happen.
✧Prove "Them" Wrong - "Them" meaning everybody in his life, prior to the tragedy. His Parents. Bullies. That "Hero". He can do anything a "Hero" can and more, and that's partially why he's joined the academy.
✦... - "...what then?"
F E A R S
✧Collateral Damage - Manslaughter caused by his Quirk.
✦Failure - "I won't. I simply cannot fail."
✧Being Powerless - "I could never let that happen again; I won't break that promise to myself."

His power had always been the bane of his existence when he was younger. Ever since it had manifested, Damon was hated because of the scary nature of his Quirk, a power that could destroy anything it touched. It caused a lot of accidental property damage which forced a burden on his parents, and they soon started treating him poorly. School was no different. He wasn't able to manage the area in which it manifested itself, so his entire hand would spontaneously become destructive and broke desks, among other things. The other kids didn't want to play with someone who might break their toys and parents warned their children away from him. They begun bullying him later on when they realized he wouldn't do anything, even if insulted due to him fearing his own hand. A while passed where he felt he was useless, and that he should've never been born, even. That was until he met her.
He met a girl when he was but ten years old, a girl with a Quirk that gave her the qualities of a cat. She didn't seem to heed any of the "warnings" that the other students gave her when she transferred in, and she decided to talk to him. At first, he feared she was attempting to do something mean to him and tried to push her away, ignore her, or otherwise not interact with her. After all, everybody else hated him, why wouldn't she? But that didn't stop her. No, she was far too tenacious, and eventually, he caved in. The girl and him became quick friends. Though everybody else treated him poorly, she was a kind light in the dark abyss, she listened to what he had to say, she didn't seem scared of what he might do, and she always played with him. She encouraged him to stand up for himself so that others wouldn't take advantage of him, and this got him into quite a bit of fights from that point onwards.
A few years passed.
The girl expressed but one single desire to him. "I want to become a hero!" it was a stupidly simple wish. After all, most people did, didn't they? Damon couldn't think of a dumber wish in the world, honestly. Not because of how common or boring it was, but because it was one she had already accomplished. She was already his hero, giving him a helping hand when he needed it most. That's what superheroes did, after all. And so, he too decided what he wanted from life: To become a hero just like her.
As more time passed, they would hang out at different places, and not always legally. The Girl was always a mischievous person. She would invade his personal space and make him blush, tease him about small things, and, sometimes, convince him to trespass. He hadn't paid much thought to it, though. She would have him make a hole in a building every now and then so they could mess around, perhaps for the thrill of it, and then they would leave. What was the harm in that, aside from the holes he was making? These were his thoughts until he started seeing reports on the news about robberies -- in the very same buildings they had played in! He was reluctant to face it at first, believing it only a mere coincidence, but it soon became apparent that it was not. So he confronted the girl at her house -- a place he had never gone to until this point. "My parents are strict. It wouldn't be fun there. Don't worry about it." She had always wished to stray away from her house when they hung out, and he assumed that she was estranged from her parents, like he.
When he knocked on the door to her house, she answered with noticeable confusion on her face, but let him in regardless. He did not waste anytime in questioning her, because he knew she would say that she didn't know anything about it, and that it must be some silly coincidence. Unfortunately, she did just that... but she seemed to be unable to meet his gaze as she did so. A girl who, quite frequently, would bite his ear and make perverted jokes just to get a reaction out of him, couldn't even look him in the eye. He had never felt so sad in his life, not even when he felt like he was alone. And the look on his face was bad enough that she apparently couldn't keep the truth in any longer. She confessed that she was told to befriend him by her father. The man was apparently a Hero, but only to the public. In secret, he would act as the very opposite thing -- a villain. As luck would have it, right as she had gotten to the end of her confession, the man himself walked into the room, realizing what had just occurred. Presumably because he had spent so long building up the alias of a hero, and because he did not want to be arrested, the man did the only sensible thing he could in that situation ---
Damon just barely dodged the set of razor-sharp claws that swiped at the area his head had been at just moments before. Much to his horror and the girl's surprise, the father intended to kill him to keep the truth from getting out. By this point, Damon was relatively used to fighting and as such, managed to avoid quite a few attacks. But the man was very quick and much stronger than him, not only because of his size but because of his Quirk, and so it was only a matter of time before Damon was backed into a corner. The man bore no mercy on his face as he drew closer, and so Damon only had one option left. He turned from prey into predator and attacked with the intent to kill using the power of his Quirk, leaving only two people left in the room.
The father did not seem to be even remotely sad at what happened, rather looking at the spot his daughter used to be with contempt. She had jumped in front of him to block the blow she knew couldn't be, and paid for it with her life, and all he did was look down on the act.
Damon became berserk.
He suffered deep cuts and many injuries, but swung his arm at the man as fast and strong as he could. The fight dragged on with Damon suffering many wounds while inflicting none, but he would not let up. Eventually, that tenacity proved fruitful, as it only took but one blow to kill that "man". But what was he left with? He had just killed two people and lost his only friend.
No, wait, she was never his friend, was she?
Damon lost his trust in everybody and everything at that point, realizing that he could only ever trust himself. He grew to resent many things. Heroes, for having somebody like him in their ranks, himself for being so weak and foolish to be tricked, and that girl for being the one to trick him in the first place. He promised himself that he would become as strong as possible, the strongest he could be. He decided to join an academy to become a hero because that would be the easiest way to gain strength.
But really, that isn't the reason. The reason was because of her.
