Chun usually dresses casually, in a shirt and jeans, hardly seeing the point to dress overly well. There was no one he was trying to impress after all, and given the freedom he rarely wants to wear his uniform. His hero outfit is much more traditional, with Long flowing sleeves that resembles the ones worn in ancient China. It is to Bai Ze's preference, though Chun doesn't wear it often because the length of the sleeves causes them to hook onto things at times. Unlike most heroes, Chun doesn't wear a mask to hide his features. Masks hurt his head, especially his third eye in the middle of his forehead. He had tried wearing them before, to no avail. It simply felt too stuffy and uncomfortable for him.
O D D I T I E S
He has a distinct Chinese accent while he's speaking both English and Chinese, his heritage showing quite is habits. He still insists on wearing all red for Chinese New Year, and often expresses his confusion at some of the colloquial terms. Other than that, Chun has a clear Crimson mark that resembles a eye situated in the centre of his forehead, along with red markings ad the corner of his eyes, as though they were painted on with red brushstrokes. His hairstyle as it is covers those cleverly, his fringe hiding the one on his head while the tufts of his hair covered the markings on his eyes. There are six others on his body, three on either side of his torso. When he channels Bai Ze, those markings turn into actual eyes, not he one of his forehead blinking and a shade of molten gold. Horns grow on his head, and there is a ridge of protruding spines on his back. He likes to wear light and flowing clothing as a result, unrestrictive and thus wouldn't hurt his eyes.

✦ Carefree ✧ Easygoing ✦ Knowledgeable ✧ Mature ✦
The first impression one would get of Chun is that he is living life without a care in the world. Though he was from a completely different country, with a different cultural background, Chun seems to have no qualms whatsoever in integrating into his current lifestyle. He isn't the most self conscious person out there, and his accent rarely stops him from speaking up and introducing himself to others. Should an awkward silence ever fall, Chun would be the one to break it, moving the conversation along with no problem. A polite smile always dancing on his lips, there is not a moment when he feels down.
Life is too short to focus on the negatives, and all one needs to do is to keep moving forward no matter how hard it is. Nothing is completely impossible unless you don't start doing it in the first place, after all. He isn't afraid of making mistakes or being criticised for them, for that was what his life was about. Exploration and experience, the two things that was his ultimate goal in the end. Chun has been cooped up enough, and now with his newfound freedom he's ready to experience a world that he has been deprived of before.
Even as a hero, Chun arguably has no idea of what he was supposed to do. The only thing he is completely certain that they do is to help others, and that was good enough for him to take it as his definition. The things like fame or fortune doesn't factor into the Essence of what a hero ought to be. Fighting the bad guy? Who is the bad guy? Each and every one of the villains have their reasons for being one, and Chun earnestly wants to help them as well. It was only what a hero should do, after all. Yet, he doesn't make promises that he would be successful in the end. Chun hates being tied down to things like promises and rules. To be honest, he doesn't take being a hero seriously at all, seeming to treat it with the same attitude he treats most things, carelessly taking it in stride. He constantly abuses his powers, summoning minor spirits just because he can. It's not rare to see several spirits hovering around him like illusions when he is walking around school, even though he has been told not to do that because it startles a few students when the spirits float through walls.
However, despite everything, he is wise beyond his years. Perhaps it was because of Bai Ze's wisdom, but Chun is empathetic and understanding. He understands that darkness is only a part of human nature and pretty much accepted the fact, yet personally tries to overcome that fact. Calm and mature, he is able to see past and resolve most conflicts as a result.

Spirit Summon and Channeling. Chun has the ability to summon and channel spirits, mainly his hero namesake, Bai Ze. Bai Ze was fabled to have dictated to Huáng Dì a guide to the forms and habits of all 11,520 types of supernatural creatures in the world, and how to overcome their hauntings and attacks. The God of spiritual medicine, Bai Ze allows Chun the power of growing spiritual herbs and healing any given illness or wound the period of time he was channeled. Even diseases that are untreatable with modern medicine can be alleviated, though he cannot save anyone that is too close to death. The herbs take time to prepare and work of course, and as far as his abilities span he cannot revive someone from death. While channeling other spirits, their powers and abilities pass on to him as well. For example, while he is channeling a kitsune, Chun has the ability to use fox fire and create mirages, growing a tail and fox ears on his head. However, that comes at a certain risk. Should Chun accidentally relinquish control, the spirit has a chance to take over his body. Not all spirits choose to give his body back, and it takes time and energy to regain control over his conscience. As a result, Chun doesn't usually summon spirits he isn't used to, unless under Bai Ze's supervision.
Apart from healing, Chun possess Bai Ze's godlike strength and speed to a certain extent. Though weaker in a human, Bai Ze is still supernaturally stronger and faster than any human, snapping bones with ease and travelling so quickly he looks like a blur. He can fly in the air, and has a regenerative factor as well, not so much as wounds cannot be inflicted on his body, but minor wounds vanish immediately. He can regenerate an arm in mere minutes, disregarding the pain.
He can summon those spirits as well, simply by calling out their name and imagining their presence. Bai Ze has taught him the names of all 11,520 types of yokai, but as he is now he has not tried to channel or summon all of them. Not all of the yokai are peaceful spirits, and Chun doesn't want to risk it. As far as summoning goes, it is one of the easier things to do. So far Chun has not mastered the skill to allow them to have physical forms in the human world, so Bai Ze is very much only a mirage like figure. Only Chun can interact and touch them, but otherwise they are every definition of a ghost.
S T R E N G T H S
✦Memory - He can remember all the names of the yokai Bai Ze taught him, along with an expansive knowledge of herbs and oriental medicine.
✧Learning - He is a quick learning, mastering a language in days. Though one wouldn't expect such a thing from his carefree self, Chun is quite an adept scholar.
✦Patience - Possessing a patience as deep and as wide as the ocean, Chun is able to step away from conflict and take a look at the overall situation. He is hardly one to raise his voice to someone, considering it too impolite.
✧Reflexes - Even without Bai Ze, Chun had always been extremely sensitive and observant. He can sense whenever someone harbours killing intent toward him, and as a result could infer all the steps taken in a fight.
✦Endurance - As Bai Ze the hero, he does not simply fall in defeat. Even if Chun loses his grip of his conscience when he is knocked out, Bai Ze takes over his body and keeps fighting. He can regenerate from small parts of his body given time, and he doesn't seem to go down at all.
W E A K N E S S E S
✦Body - He was born with a weak body, and without Bai Ze's protection he would have perished years ago.
✧Control - There are occasions where his control over the spirit will slip, causing Bai Ze to take over sometimes should the fight go on for too Long. The spirit turns his hair a shade of glimmering silver, and the markings on his body starts to glow, eventually turning into actual eyes.
✦Concentration - Chun is distracted very easily, his mind always drifting off subject. In battle, it is very much the same case. Instead on focusing only on the villain he was fighting, he would begin to think of what he wanted to eat for lunch.
✧Naive - Having no concept about how some heros might be corrupted due to power and fame, Chun has a rather idealistic view of the world he grew up with.
✦Irresponsible - Ever since he started living on his own Chun seems to have lost all sense of responsibility. He rarely eats unless he feels like it, sometimes going on days without sleeping.

✦Death - "Bai Ze knows what the end feels like, he told me about my place in the spirit world. Yet... I can't help but feel afraid."
✧Regret - "Is that not the worst feeling? Having lived life like you're never about to die, and die before you have even started. I cannot stand the weight of regret, of things that I should have done but didn't."

Where's their hometown?
H I S T O R Y
Chun was born in and named after the springtime, fragile and weak since birth. Both his parents didn't see the need to face the risks and trials of being a hero, despite having interesting quirks. 赤羽, his Father, had the skill to bestow life briefly into anything he creates. He sold Chinese paper cuts and origami on the streets, the pieces of paper fluttering to life in the hands of curious and eager children. His Mother 晓翠 had the quirk of spiritual possession. Acting as a well known spirit medium, she often helped spirits complete their last wishes. An exorcist of sorts, she could easily see spirits and allow them to possess her, allowing the deceased to complete their final regrets or speak with those alive so they can pass on in peace.
Chun turned out to take after his Mother, though his ability span to a greater extent. Due to his poor health, he was not allowed to play outside as all the other children did because of his anxious parents, but it never bothered him. His Father often made paper animals for him to play with on his bed, roaring little tigers and chirping birds, so many that his bed turned into a paper menagerie. It was at the age of three did he begin to show signs of his developing powers. His Mother walked in on him one day to find her Son playing with tiny spirits, his small hands hugging and petting them, but when she reached out to touch the phantoms herself her hand went straight through. It was the first showing of his powers, and his parents couldn't be prouder of his skill. Communicating with spirits was something his Mother trained him in after that, quizzing him on what they said and wished for. She taught him with the patience of a Mother how to speak to them gently, that the dead was nothing to be afraid of. They were just regretful and sometimes angry, resentful and misunderstood. His parents taught him to only use his abilities to make people happy, and never to hurt.
Despite the initial peace and content in his life, his health didn't last for Long before his body gave out. When he was eight, Chun fell ill with an abnormally high fever, and despite doing everything they could it was near incurable. His parents wept, preparing for the worst when they ran everywhere trying to find a remedy that will save their only Son. Chun was close to death when, in a feverish daze, he first met Bai Ze.
The spirit was huge, but his eight year old mind didn't know such things as fear when he was this close to death. The God only asked him one question "Do you want to live?" It goes without saying that his answer was a firm yes. It was the time his powers manifested once again, allowing the legendary spirit to possess his body. When his parents came in to check on him again, they were in for a shock. Chun sat on the bed, alive and well, calmly gazing at his parents with all three eyes, his hair a complete shade of silver. At his feet grew a circle of herbs no one had ever seen before. With a steady yet authoritative tone, Bai Ze instructed his surprised parents to use those as medicine, before leaving Chun's body in a gust of wind.
His hair eventually turned back into its shade of black with time, but the markings were there since, the red marking forming an eye that was the one found on his forehead. Since then, his illnesses came and left quickly, and his body was significantly stronger. When he turned eleven was the day Bai Ze reappeared before him, teaching the boy all he had to know about his powers and the spirit world. With the god's help, Chun was able to call on and embody several spirits to help him in his tasks, including summoning them for their wisdom. The main one he stuck to was Bai Ze, the most powerful of them all and possibly the wisest. It was after he had more or less mastered his skill set did Chun aspire to be a hero, one that could help more people and save them from illnesses with Bai Ze's help. It was a task that could help most people, and at the same time allow him to explore places he had never been to, the outside world.
Of course, a hero had to start somewhere. Chun heard Rumours about the hero academy in America, and thus decided to set out for there to have a start to his dream. He had little idea of what heroes are supposed to be or do apart from helping others, but he is bright and ready to learn, having passed the entrance exams.
