{Full Name}
Hiwalani-Noa Mano Noelani Kapono Kealoha

{Nickname}
She often goes by just Hiwalani (E-Wuh-La-Nee) but most Haole can't pronounce it and sometimes her friends and family are just too lazy and end up calling her Noa. Nobody ever calls her Lani. She's also been called Shark Queen due to her fascination with and love for sharks.

{Birthday}
May 21st, 1993 [20 y.o.]

{Sexuality}
Demisexual

{Power}
Hiwalani has Merfolk Physiology. When her legs touch salt water they become a massive, heavy, long and colorful tail fin. She is capable of swimming at speeds surpassing 100mph and can withstand extreme underwater pressure. Her ability to withstand such pressure also allows her to be much stronger than she appears, able to lift three times her weight. She can breathe underwater as well but chlorine weakens her, so you'll never see her in or near a pool. She can communicate with water-dwelling creatures as well but she cannot command them. Her most notable ability aside from the tail thing is the legendary Mermaid's Song and Supernatural Beauty. She has a unique and innate charm that draws most people to her, of course, and she's quite obviously a conventional beauty. But she has the ability to charm and command people through singing or playing instruments. Unfortunately, said person has to be within hearing range. She can sway emotions and mental states with her music, causing others to become sleepy, angry, infatuated, etc. She is also capable of manipulating water, though she can't control its temperature. She has only recently mastered it though and has practiced healing herself with it. She can also manipulate the weather if she focuses hard enough but she often tries not to because she feels it to be somewhat wrong. Its response to her emotions (and the laid back way her parents raised her) plays a huge part in why she tends to keep her cool.

{Personality}
One look at Hiwalani-Noa has always lead most people into believing that she's little more than just a pretty face with nothing going on in her head. Having dropped out of school at the age of 15 doesn't help subside these assumptions. She actually is a lot smarter than she comes off as, though she's never been good with math. She's never really been one for labels either but she certainly has a few of her own. Adrenaline junkie is one of them. She's always been the one of her friends who was first to jump from a cliff into the water or hop on a motorcycle with no idea how to work it. She loves things that give her a rush and she's often seen running and jumping and flipping to get around. She hates sitting still for too long when she's in a good mood. She's always been very outgoing and cheerful, easily making friends in almost every circle. She's seen as Lahaina's "It Girl". When she's mad you don't have to worry about her coming after you though. She isn't exactly the type to really care. Unless you make a personal attack. But that tends to also bring her family's wrath as well. Suffice to say, most people don't bother her. One thing she hates most is being labeled as a slut like her brother Keokolo. She always wanted to be like him when she was younger because her brothers annoyed her and they were bums in her eyes. Since she generally did as he did when they were kids everyone expected her to follow suit when he began exploring his sexuality. When that happened, it pushed them apart. She's also a bit of a nature activist. Growing up in the area that she did with the people that were there she developed a healthy respect for nature and is quick to let her temper fly when someone litters or doesn't recycle. Especially in the ocean.

{History}
Life was never really hard for Hiwalani-Noa. She was never without affection and attention even though she was one of fourteen children, being part of a set of quadruplets herself. With eight brothers and five sisters among many cousins, she always had someone to play with. Her parents were undeniably the most “go with the flow” people in Lahaina. Especially for parents with so many children as well as businesses to run. It wasn't uncommon to see one of Ailani and Mano-Akeakamai's offspring roaming the beaches and streets and businesses of the city. While it was a large place, all of the natives knew a Kealoha when they saw one and they knew better than to mess with one of the young ones. Most of them were spending time with their grandpa Kona at the beach anyways. With more brothers than sisters and being very much a daddy's girl, she was no stranger to speaking her mind and often got in trouble with other people for it, though her father often found it amusing and would pat her on the back for being so brash. She was always the most adventurous of her siblings and would often get in trouble along with her brothers for going out into the jungle to explore without an adult accompanying them. Unlike their other family members, Hiwalani-Noa and her siblings weren't really exposed to the Haole as much as everyone else. Probably because they were too busy evading home for adventures. Hiwalani-Noa especially avoided them (and most others) when she turned seven and began sprouting a tail in the water. She had begun wrapping her legs in cellophane and wearing a wetsuit when she went swimming or surfing to avoid discovery. The measures she went through to keep dry legs while swimming were unbelievable. She was fifteen when she deemed school useless and dropped out. Though, it had a lot to do with one of her elder brothers -- Keokolo. The two of them were undeniably the most popular kids in all of Lahaina and everybody wanted to be around them. However, Keokolo had built up a reputation as a promiscuous young man and because the two were so close and so popular, it wasn't long before everyone assumed that she was just as easy as he was. Less and less of her peers spent time with her just for the sake of friendship and more for the hope of getting into her bed. She didn't blame Keokolo for this and didn't care how he lead his life as long as he was happy. However, when he asserted himself in the "big brother" role to keep these suitors at bay, it soon became a bit more than she could handle. He didn't trust anyone around his little sister and assumed they were all after the same thing, ridding her of nearly all males in her life that weren't related. But that wasn't his crime. His crime was bedding more than half of her female friends. She had enough when she had slumber party for her fifteenth birthday and a fight broke out between the other four girls over Keokolo, effectively ruining her night. Her parents let her leave Hawaii with her oldest sister, Lilo, and her indie band to accompany her on gigs and vacations during the summer so long as she spent the normal school year working at the studio and the restaurant. This further distanced her from Keokolo, though the rest of the family's bond with her didn't seem to slack at all. This summer, however, Lilo decided to stay home. Noa is certainly old enough to venture out on her own and had planned a trip to Greece. But her parents decided that she and Keokolo had been fighting for long enough and forced her to remain home and repair their bond as well as help with the threat of the most tourists Lahaina has seen in years, as it has been targeted as destination number one for a mass of college fraternities and sororities from the mainland.

{Happiest Memory}
She was eight years old and had been swimming really fast when she got lost. She was very deep and couldn't even see the light of the sun. She couldn't tell where the surface was. Then Pelo, an Orca, came to her rescue. Her parents were scared when they found her "tanning" further along down the beach but she had made a new friend.

{Saddest Memory}
On her fifteenth birthday, she had a slumber party and invited four of her closest female friends. When one had been caught kissing Keokolo by the other three, a fight had broken out and it was revealed that Keokolo had slept with all of them. This caused them to fight more before they eventually stopped speaking to one another. Noa has never forgiven him for this.

Hiwalani-Noa smiled her dimpled smile in her sleep, rolling over as her dream went on; Her dreams were basically reality. She dreamed often of basking in the rays of the sun on her island, Ukupanipo. She had been visiting the small island since she was a child and nobody else ever went there - With the recent exception of her cousins and Keo. -- She was going to fix that issue later. She had named it after her favorite Hawaiian God - And her father's nickname. But her dream didn't last long, being rudely awakened by her little sister (or at least just one of them) pouncing on her at the same time her alarm clock went off. “Ho`âla, kaikua'ana! Ho`âla, Hiwalani-Noa!”, Lulua‘ina screeched. The brunette groaned and rolled over, taking Lulua‘ina with her as she hit the floor.

“Waiho,” she grunted as she grabbed the little girl by her feet and dragged her out of her room, quickly running back into her room and slamming the door behind her. The small child spent a few minutes banging on the door before giving up and leaving. Noa looked over at the clock and shook her head. What eight year old was up and screaming at seven thirty during the summer?! At least she was going back home today and Noa could get some stuff done without Lulu in her way. She was in and out of the shower in a flash, slipping on her favorite black bikini and a pair of capri sweats before scanning her dresser.

Most women her age had loads of makeup scattered across their room - Not her. She hardly had any hair ties either. Her dresser was covered with pictures and piercings, of which she grabbed a few. An anchor for her navel, a light up one for her tongue, her favorite industrial barbells, and a glow in the dark pair for her shark bites. Admiring her piercings and tattoos, she ran her fingers through her hair and fluffed the knee-length locks before grabbing her Jericho backpack while sliding on her lucky bracelet and heading out, calling out to her father. “A hui hou! Aloha au la ‘oe Makuakane!” She was out the door before her father could reply, knowing he was there to pick up Lulu and was probably fixing her breakfast. The house she lived in was her grandfather's, Kona. More than likely he was already hitting the waves. She had been living there with him since she was sixteen. Since her first fight when Keo when she was fifteen, she couldn't stand to be around her brother, fearful that she'd wake up in the middle of the night and find him macking on more of her friends. Her parents encouraged her to try and work things out with him before leaving... But it didn't work and she soon moved in with her grandfather.

She grabbed the keys to the blue ATV parked in the paved driveway, soon peeling out and heading away from her home on the beach and into town. She stopped at several stalls and small shops to pick up things that were placed carefully into her backpack; a couple of apples, some sandwiches, a bottle of whiskey, and a container of cherries; It was all that she needed to start her morning. She made a few other stops to deliver a few things as well. On the days that she wasn't sleeping in, gone camping, or sleeping in the ocean she made herself useful by getting up early to help some of the vendors and shop keepers by delivering packages like groceries to some of the elderly people. She had been raised to help her community thrive and saw all of the maoli as family even if their last name wasn't Kealoha. She was beloved by her people in return and she could not help but to swell with pride when she saw their smiles.

Now? Off to Hiʻiaka Studio to have some “Noa-Time” before she decided to start her day for real. Though, her entire life seemed to just be “Noa-Time”. She was really hoping to go camping on Ukupanipo tonight after the big beach luau that her parents were throwing for the graduates their their friends. Her own last two weeks were spent babysitting her little sister and working at both the studio and her father's restaurant and she finally had free time that she intended on spending well. She parked outside, unlocking the doors and slipping inside where she headed directly for Studio Mano where she taught, beginning her yoga on the deck, facing the ocean. The scents of Hawaii filled her lungs and the salty breeze whipped around her as the sun peeked out from behind the clouds. Before summer had begun she had planned on being in Greece by now. However, Lilo was taking time off to be with family and her parents wanted Hiwalani-Noa to stay so that the whole family could spend a summer together for the first time in years. They also wanted her to make up with Keokolo, though she doubted it would happen. She didn't like to fight with her brother, having adored him in childhood. But his blatant disregard for her feelings and happiness drove her mad.

There were times when she wondered what she had done to deserve this treatment from him, feeling that maybe he was just spiting her. But she always came to the conclusion that he was just an idiot. It was always uncomfortable for everyone in the family when the two of them were placed into a room together, especially when he had a girl on his arm. Usually it was a girl that she knew and had once been friends with. It was those times that she felt as though he was definitely carrying on as he did just to spite her. Still, she hated to let him drag down her mood. It wasn't good for her. She mostly just ignored him over the past few years and went about her life. She knew that her family would stop at nothing this year to get the two of them back on friendly terms. To the Kealohas, family was everything and nothing good could ever come from the two of them fighting. She was quite certain that her parents were tired of the siblings bickering with one another and ruining previous family dinners with their snide remarks towards one another. Honestly, she didn't mind forgiving Keo. She only wanted an apology. As far as she was concerned, he ruined her life.

“You're fuming.”

She dropped her from upward dog position and turned to see Ipo-Lahela standing there with a smirk. Noa couldn't help but to give a small laugh as she rolled up her yoga mat and moved to put it back in her locker. “Stop letting Keo get under your skin. Na'u kekoa, Hiwalani-Noa. Mai poina.” The larger girl placed a hand on Noa's shoulder with sympathetic eyes and Noa gave a nod. “Maopopo ia‘u. Mahalo.” She gave a smile before looking up at the clock to see that it was barely nine. “It's really early for you. What're you doing here?” She canted her head to the side and furrowed her brow some. Ipo seemed to mentally facepalm herself as she remembered why she had come. “I got a call from Kimo. He was at work opening for the morning and said there's some haole around asking for your dad. Tall, blonde, and looks rich.” They both showed signs of uneasiness and it didn't take Noa long to bolt outside. She was on her ATV and speeding through the streets of the town as fast as she could, veering onto sidewalks and lawns as she avoided vehicles and people in the five minute drive to her father's restaurant downtown.

Her body jerked as she skidded to a halt in front of Mano's Place, spotting an expensive-looking car parked there as well. She gave a frown for a moment before readjusting her windblown hair and putting on her most winsome smile. “Hello,” she called out as she crossed the threshold, spotting Kimo wiping down tables. The young maoli's face lit up the moment he saw her and she gave a wink. “You interrupted my yoga, Kimo.” She approached him and threw her arms around him in a tight hug, laughing as he squeezed her tightly before they stepped back. “Oh, right. There's a haole here. Looking for Mano.” He gestured to a male sitting and looking out at the beach from one of the patio tables. She gave a nod and indicated for him to return to opening before she walked over the the haole and stood quietly next to him. “E kala mai ia‘u, but Mano's not available right now. Whatever your business is with him, you can take it up with me.” Her accent was thick as she spoke, a lilting melody hinting in the tone of her voice as her bright brown eyes looked out at the ocean.

“Yes, father. …. I know. I don't think it's going to be too difficult but I can already tell they don't like me being here. I reserved the Lani Suite but when I got here they said my reservation got lost in the system and it had been taken. Apparently the suite's being used as some sort of playroom for children.” Kick spoke into the bluetooth that clung to his left ear as he admired his reflection in the bathroom mirror, combing through his dirty blond hair. “It's not like Honolulu, that's for sure. These people are very in touch with their savage roots,” he huffed before straightening his tie.

“But, I have faith that the Lord will guide me and help us conquer this place.” He gave a smirk before glancing at the clock. “I'll speak more with you later – I've got to go scout around the place and see who I can get close to.” He hung up on his father before issuing a heavy sigh, stroking the stubble on his chin. The Texan debated on whether or not he should shave, eventually deciding against it. Women loved the stubble. Cracking his knuckles, he pulled on his jacket and fixed his cuff links before heading out with a smile on his face, winking at the maid as he passed by.

He hadn't told anyone his purpose of being in Lahaina outside his family members, but he had a sneaking suspicion that the Kealoha family and the other natives already knew, given his family name and business. They would smile at his face, but that was just being polite. He knew that they were talking about him behind his back and shooting dirty looks as he walked away. He didn't mind, feeling that he had God on his side. While the scenery was beautiful and the ladies were absolutely lovely, he knew what he had to do. His father reminded him that this trip wasn't just about having another deal, having another restaurant to add to their many; This trip, if successful, would allow them to destroy the last major obstacle in the way of Americanizing the Hawaii natives.

He'd been given a rather extensive list of all the people he needed to know about in Lahaina and as much information about them as could be gathered. His only really worries were Lilo, the eldest of Mano's fourteen children who was a liberal Green Peace hippie. And then there was Kahiau and Kamehameha, both of them having been in jail twice this year alone for disorderly conduct. Rumor was that they'd assaulted fraternity guys and broke a few arms and noses but were bailed out through family connection. Finally, there was Hikialani, Hanini, and Honi. All three of them had prior history of disorderly conduct as well and his notes said that they were proficient in Kung Fu. Like their father. That wasn't even including his worries with their cousin, Keoni, who was claimed to be the most aggressive Kealoha walking.

He sighed as he hailed a taxi and wondered how they'd react. He was positive that they were all outlaw savages who had way too many connections than was good for them. However, he wouldn't worry too much. As crazy as they all seemed, he was sure that they wouldn't attack him. The worst they could do was reject his deal. However, he could do much worse than them. He now looked at the streets and shops, the people crowded around them so early in the morning bringing a smile to his face. Ah, these women of Hawaii. They tested him and all men walking the earth as they bared their flesh to the world around them.

Temptresses... Succubi... Delicious little she-devils, he thought as he admired their bodies and imagined just what he could and would do with them. Before long, the taxi had pulled to a stop in front of a large restaurant that he had to admit was impressive. Handing over two hundreds in tens, he patted the man on his back. “God bless you, sir.” He gave a winning smile before stepping out and admiring the eatery before him. It was nicely designed, having a foreign feel to it. Though, he knew, it wasn't quite so foreign to the natives. He saw that there was a lot of space and he could see in the windows that there was a large stage for live bands and he had no doubt there was a patio out back with chairs and such for those who wanted to see the ocean.

He walked in to see first a young man, a native, bringing chairs down from the tables. Kimo paused and for a moment, there was a flicker of disgust in his eyes. However, he quickly flashed a smile. “Aloha! I'm sorry, but we're closed right now. We won't open for breakfast for another hour. Chefs aren't even here yet,” he laughed softly. Kick gave a nod as he observed the shirtless teen for a moment before holding out his hand. “Kick Masters – I'm actually here to speak with Mister... Uh... Maino... Mano... Er. Mister Kealoha.” The Texan with his drawl had completed butchered the proprietor's name, cursing himself inwardly for not paying attention when he was taught to pronounce the names by one of their PR representatives. Kimo gave a shrug.

Mano he stressed on the pronunciation of the name, saying it slowly, “--isn't here. You can speak with his daughter, though.” He pointed to Hiwalani and Kick's brow immediately shot up as he observed her. He barely acknowledged Kimo now as he walked towards Lani, a lustful gleam in his blue eyes. Legs a mile long, flawless complexion, long and silky locks... She's tattooed. More than those other savage natives... God, help me to resist this temptress... He prayed in his thoughts before moving so that he faced both Daniel and Hiwalani, taking Noa's hand and pressing his lips firmly against her knuckles in a polite gesture. Skin is so smooth, so soft. She smells like the ocean... And hibiscus. Dear, Lord. Please, help me to resist this beautiful heathen. He prayed to himself again before opening his eyes and smiling up at her.

“You must be Hiwalani-Noa; Kick Masters – I'm here to speak with your father. Any idea where I might find him?” He had a charming air about him but he could see from her gaze that she was unimpressed, likely because he butchered her name. He saw her cringe as he spoke it. “I... hope I'm not interrupting..” He could see a displeased gleam in Noa's bright brown eyes as she pulled her hand back and crossed her arms over her chest, drawing his gaze to the large mounds that she so proudly boasted in her black bikini top. He bit down on his bottom lip and took a deep breath. “One – My eyes are up here. Two – It's Ee-wuh-lah-nee, not Hih-wah-la-nigh, haole. Three – My father isn't here. You've got business with him, you can take it up with me.” Kick blinked as she spoke, slowly. Her voice... Those lips... How is it that such a Godless heathen appears to be such an angel? He pulled himself together quickly and bowed his head.

“My apologies – I had heard rumors of your beauty, but everything that I had heard was... Quite a massive understatement, Miss Kealoha. I'm afraid that the business I need to discuss with your father is a bit confidential. I'll wait, if you don't mind.” To this, Noa narrowed her eyes before looking back at the door where a load of her brothers and Keoni had come bursting in, bringing cacophony with them. “Mmm. You can take that up with my brothers.” Her attention then turned back to Daniel and she gave a more polite smile than Kick had been given. “E kala mai ia‘u, again. Now, what was it that you needed?”

The Kealoha triplets had just finished their usual morning run. It was usually how they started their day since it made them feel more awake and sharp for the day. Keokolo Kealoha had just stepped out of the shower, the steam still filling the white tiled bathroom that clung to the walls and mirrors. The sun was beaming brightly through the large window and Keokolo quickly rubbed his head dry followed by his body. Wrapping the towel around his waist, he glanced in the mirror, quickly admiring himself before combing through his hair so that it would lay flat against his head as it dried.

Keo than exited the bathroom strolling down the hallway enjoying the coolness of the air as the water evaporated from his skin. Finally inside his bedroom, he decided to throw on a baggy red tank top paired with camouflage shorts and sandals. Around his neck he wore a brown stringed necklace with a fake carnivorous tooth tied at the end. He then grabbed his red cap and sunglasses before exiting to the hallway and shouting for his brothers, "Kahiau! Kamehameha! E hele kākou!" Keo then heard laughter burst from down the stairs that could be none other than Kahiau and Kamehameha themselves.

"Kaikua`ana," Kamehameha snickered. "You're the one who's slow."

Keokolo chuckled as he ran down the steps and nudged the two in the shoulder. "Let's head out before we're late."

As usual, the trio laughed and shot insults at each other as they ran outside before hopping into Keo's yellow Jeep Wrangler. Once Keo turned the ignition on the radio automatically started to blast just as they had left it the night before. They were headed for the restaurant and the three of them usually helped out on Saturday mornings otherwise they'd never hear the end of it from their father, Mano. Keo argued to have his Saturday's free so he could spend his free time "productively" at the beach. Though Mano was not going to let his sons be a bunch of sleaze balls without at least working during the day. As they raced down the road they shouted obnoxiously singing along with the song on the radio. Keokolo rested his left arm just outside the frame of the driver's window while tapping against the door according to the beat of the drum. When they reached a red light Keokolo smirked as a group of young girls on the sidewalk started to giggle and wave at him. Such a gesture was really not out of the ordinary for Keo seeing as he's slept with about half of the island girls by now and counting.

"Aloha kakahiaka Keokolo!" one of the cuter girl's squealed. He slightly pulled his shades down as he observed the girl up and down. Her bronze, firm skin seemingly glowed in this sun and her shorts really framed her bottom nicely. Keo was biting his bottom slip and then decided to wink at the girl who flashed him a huge grin.

Kahiau who was sitting on the passenger side began to make kissing sounds at Keo who in turn decided to lightly punch his brother in the shoulder. Oh the brotherly love. Alas they had arrived at their father's restaurant and as they made their way into the restaurant, rowdy as ever, Keokolo almost immediately fell silent upon seeing a haole to his own surprise. The man wore a ravishing suit, hovering over his younger sister Noa with a smug look on his face. Distaste made itself apparent on Keo's expression as his grin quickly turned into a scowl. Unlike his brothers and sisters, Keokolo had no qualms in making it known to these haole how much he could not stand their existence. The restaurant was not even open for another hour yet this guy thought he could waltz in here as though he were entitled. Kahiau gripped onto Keokolo's shoulder as though to say, "relax". Keo shot a glance at Noa who was speaking to this dirty blonde stranger with fair skin. Although they were not exactly on speaking terms, Keokolo still did not want to see his younger sister associating with these money scrounging fiends. Taking a deep breath, he slowly approached the haole while standing tall with his muscular chest protruding forward to make himself look bigger and more aggressive.

"What's this haole doing here Noa, Kimo?" Keo asked with a growl in his voice. His accent was somewhat thick, but not nearly as bad as Noa's. He always prided himself in that. The two had always rivaled each other from the moment they could walk. Keokolo eyed this sly man up and down and almost sneered at how out of place he looked. "What's your name, haole?" The mocking tone in Keo's voice was not subtle in the slightest. He truly hoped he offended this man because he was not welcomed here.

Daniel Hilton found his eyes rolling with contempt at the dirty blonde male who went by the name of Kick Masters. Obviously the guy was here on business terms, judging by his fancy "get-up" and abnormal professionalism. Daniel already could not stand the guy. He may be able to fool others with his business antics, but not Daniel. Daniel knew how to play the game all too well. After all, he, himself was in Lahaina for a business matter. It was to acquire the Kealoha Hotel and Resort property owned by Akamu Feleti Inoke Kealoha, younger brother of Mano who owned this restaurant. Daniel knew this restaurant well enough since he's traveled to Lahaina on numerous occasions. He enjoyed the breakfast here, though for this occasion he was supposed to speak with Akamu himself. Daniel had actually just arrived in Lahaina a few hours prior and was very much feeling the jet lag from the air travel. He felt somewhat embarrassed that he did not even have enough time to change into more formal wear. Instead he wore a light blue polo paired with khaki shorts. A somewhat strong scent of cologne drifted in the air around him, considering he had just sprayed him before he stepped inside the restaurant. What was more embarrassing for Daniel was the gray luggage bags and suitcases he had stacked behind his chair right now. His flight had been delayed so he did not arrive with enough time to drop off his baggage at the hotel he was staying at.

He sat out on the back patio directly facing the ocean. The waters of Hawaii always made him feel serene. The residents here were already beginning to accumulate on the white sandy beaches. Heaving a sigh, Daniel gently rubbed his eyes that were beginning to feel strained from exhaustion. Hopefully they would offer him some coffee seeing as Akamu invited him here before the restaurant even opened. It was entirely too early to deal with drama, but with the Kealoha's it already seemed like it was starting, beginning with the entrance of Keokolo Kealoha and company. Daniel decided to ignore the ruckus and enjoy the soft sighs of the ocean waves as they pushed forward than retracted. He had to admit he did miss this place. His focus was then interrupted by the voice of a woman with a strong native accent, "E kala mai ia‘u, but Mano's not available right now. Whatever your business is with him, you can take it up with me.”

Daniel glanced up from his seat to see a beautiful young woman who stood out like the sun in this moment. Her hair was dark, full and long, falling just above her knees. Her black bikini top made her chest seem prominent teamed with her perfect curvatures that made Daniel subtly bite his lip. Such an attractive lady with a winning smile. He had to admit he felt somewhat aroused. Although Daniel was the least interested in relationships or pursuing women. It was too much hard work in his eyes that was not worth the output. Flashing the girl his charming smile, he rose from his seat while meeting her at eye level before he firmly shook her hand.

"Daniel Hilton. I was supposed to meet with Akamu Kealoha? He asked me to stop by," the name rolled perfectly off of his tongue. His gaze never fell from her eyes and he simply continued to smile out of respect. Daniel always made it a point not to mess up someone's name pronunciation. In his eyes it was somewhat, unlike that other shady character who stood inside dealing with that hot head, Keokolo. For the most part, Daniel knew the faces of most of these Kealoha characters. However, he never seemed to have met the girl he was speaking to now. He was curious as to whether or not she was part of the sibling group as well. Daniel spent a lot of summers in Lahaina so the Kealoha reputation definitely did not slip past him. He most certainly heard of their interactions with natives and tourists alike, their misdemeanors and drama that spread like wildfire on this island. It somewhat peeved him, but they were certainly successful so he respected the family for that much. "I may be somewhat early actually." Punctuality was something Daniel always stressed in his life, formally or not. He felt if someone was providing him with their time, he best not waste it by being late. Not to mention it was a trait drilled into him a very young age.

They hate me... Kick was taken aback, unprepared for the immediate hostility that was directed towards him the moment Keokolo and his brothers entered and seemed to surround him. They were all quite large and tattooed, looking like a gang. “Kick... Kick Masters. I'm here to speak with Mano, not his children.” It took a moment to gather his confidence but when he did, his words came out smoothly and he lifted his chin so that he could meet the gaze of Keokolo. The sight of Keoni coming up behind the three brothers, massive arms crossing over his chest, made him take a step back and he truly began to fear that they were going to jump him. Noa's eyes darted from Daniel for a moment to Kick, her lips curving into a smirk.

“... I'll let them handle you.” She nodded towards her brothers and Keoni for emphasis before giving Daniel's hand a squeeze. Oh... so you're Daniel.” She lifted a brow some bit as she looked up to him. Literally; He was at least a foot taller than her. She didn't give him too much regard other than a polite smile. She had heard her father on the phone with him last night while they were all out drinking and she was curious as to why Daniel was here.

She could already take a guess. Rich haole with the last name "Hilton" here looking for Akamu... Gee. I wonder what he wants. She was immediately suspicious of him, though she didn't let it show. Kick was being both creepy and an asshole so she doubted her father would mind if the boys roughed him up. Daniel seemed to have been invited and he managed to be polite. She would show him that same courtesy, motioning towards the indoors. “You look tired -- How about I make you some kope? I'm sure my father's had a fresh shipment of Kona Kope in.” Considering that Daniel was, in fact, a guest of her father's, she figured that Mano wouldn't mind if she fixed him a cup of their more expensive coffee. Her head turned to see her brothers and Keoni, avoiding looking directly at Keokolo as if to say "this smile isn't for you".

Keokolo gave a slight nod at Noa's remark. His eyes never left Kick's gaze who seemed to be feeling a tad bit intimidated. If only Kick knew how wrong it was to show weakness around Keokolo. At this point, Keo was also crossing his arms just as his brothers. He was standing uncomfortably close to Kick while slightly cocking his head up.

"Not speak with his children?" Keokolo almost burst into laughter. "What you say to Mano, you say to all of us."

At this Kamehameha decided to chime in, "That's the Kealoha way."

"Kick, huh? What kind of stupid name is that?" Keo bellowed. Shots were being fired. Kamehameha and Kahiau were now snickering in the background. "Laho kole." Keo muttered something in their language that made the triplets laugh even more.

Keoni was suddenly standing beside Keo and the two now aggressively hovered over Kick as though their glare alone would tear right through the poor guy. If anyone was more vicious than Keo, it would be his cousin Keoni. It would take an idiot not to know better than to anger both of them. "Hûpô, what's your business here?"

The four of them were absolutely grilling this stranger. Keo decided to follow Keoni's lead on this because he too wanted to know why this haole was in here hitting on his sister and demanding to speak to his father. Though Keokolo could not help but notice how Noa would look at everyone but him. It began to irk him, though first he would deal with this unwelcome guest.

Daniel could already see how uninterested Noa was in his small talk. In fact, the way she spoke his name made him frown a bit. She must have already been suspicious of him. Though she continued to smile and act in a polite mannerism. He did not let this bother him though, she was not the one he was here to see. "Yes, some kope would be great actually. Thank you," Daniel replied calmly as they walked inside. Though his eyes darted over to the brothers and Kick where things seemed to be heating up rather quickly. As Daniel passed, he noticed Keokolo shooting him a glare. Daniel supposed Keo did not notice him before. He wondered if he'd fall victim next and simply sighed. Mornings were meant to be peaceful.
"Are they always like this?" Daniel asked with somewhat of surprise as he watched the brothers gang up on Kick. Though Kick was already rubbing him the wrong way, so he was somewhat enjoying the sight.

“It's an acronym,” he muttered to himself as the beefy boys before him belittled and teased him. He stood his ground and lifted his chin, doing his best to keep a cool air. “Well, I suppose I should apologize. I'm a bit more accustomed to dealing with professionals who know how to conduct a business.” He retained his smirk, leaning his body to the side some as subtly as he could, blue eyes keen on Noa's rear end as she walked away with Daniel. Can't decide whether he's lucky or doomed, he mused within his thoughts. He was brought back to attention by Keoni stepping in the way of his view with a scowl.

“I asked what your business was here. It'd be better if you cut the entitled haole routine and give an answer -- If you know who we are then you know what we can and will do.”

At this, Kick took a step back with a look of indignation. “You wouldn't.” However, the look from the Kealoha males simply said Try us and he really didn't want to. Fearful that their aggression might shift from verbal into physical, he held his hands up in truce. “I just want to talk with Mano about a potential business prospect,” he confessed. At this, Keoni scoffed before glancing at Keokolo. “You won't get very far. Especially if you keep looking at my cousin like she's a walking pair of tits.” Keoni took a step forward and was now even closer to him than Keo was, his muscular chest pushing against the much smaller male as he asserted his dominance. He took on a mocking Urban American timbre as he sneered down at Kick. “You feel me?” Noa might not be his sister, but she and her siblings were like the siblings he never got.

"Hey my cousin here is right," Keokolo growled, his gaze not shifting from Kick. "Ain't no way I'm letting a haole touch my sister. Especially one like you."

Keoni would not step down. He simply muffled a sound in agreement with Keo's statement. For a brief moment it was awkwardly silent and the situation was very tense. "Hele pêlâ. Do you need Keokolo here to show you the door? Or all three of these brothers? They'd be more than glad to 'escort' you out."

Kamehameha and Kahiau then stepped beside Keo with mischievous grins on their faces. It was probably best not to pick a fight before their father even got there, but if this haole was not careful Keo would not even hesitate to punch him in the face. These haole thought they could just take whatever they want and act however they pleased. These brothers had another thing in mind for Kick.

Behind the ruckus, Noa had set out to help Kimo with opening while also finding that Kimo had already set on a pot of the desired coffee. “Kimo, ku`u lei! You're a life saver.” She offered the younger man a wink, causing his tan cheeks to flush bright red as he laughed hesitantly before disappearing into the kitchen. She gave a gentle smile to nobody and nothing in particular as she made a single cup of coffee and directed Daniel to a seat at the bar, setting his cup down in front of him and pushing some sugar and cream to him. For herself, she dug into her backpack and fished out her container of cherries and an apple. She decided that the whiskey could come later when she had met up with her friends at the beach.

At Daniel's question, she gave a soft laugh and popped a cherry into her mouth. Chewing and swallowing, she gave a breath and leaned her head back. “My family are the descendants of Queen Lili`uokalani,” she began. Her eyes found their way back to Daniel and she tilted her head to the side as if to study him. “You know what her credo was? `Onipa`a. It means stand firm. And that is what we do. In this culture, family is everything and everyone is family. We defend our own from any and every threat to the deepest of our abilities. Kick dug his own grave when he entered and spoke as though he were our social better and he carved his own headstone and disrespected my family when he looked upon me as a sexual object.” She gave a light shrug as she more or less confirmed that her brothers proved to be obstacles to many.

Daniel sat comfortably on a stool with both a respectful yet easy going appearance. His posture was almost perfect, though there was an easiness to him even now as he sat. His eyes lit up as Noa passed him a cup of coffee and he emptied the contents of one sugar packet into his coffee along with just enough cream to obtain a golden brown color. Lightly stirring he sipped his cup and smiled at how great the taste was. It was one of the best cups he had in awhile. Daniel listened intently as Noa explained her family's origins. He nodded with approval, "That's very admirable."

Though he could not help but feel his conscious somewhat weigh on him as he thought about why he was actually there in the first place. Heaving a sigh, he took another sip of his coffee before setting it back down on the counter. However, those thoughts were irrelevant. Daniel had set out a task for himself and he'd make sure his father would feel proud. Then, Daniel glanced over at Kick who was becoming flustered with the antagonizing Kealoha brothers. His brow furrowed as he observed Kick Masters. Who was this guy anyway? Daniel figured he should look into this. Apparently he was not the only who had set his eye out for business.

"Do you know anything about that man? Daniel asked distastefully. Any sort of competition was something he had not anticipated.

“I wouldn't really say it's admirable. It's the human thing to do.” She offered a light shrug and pushed some hair from her face as she popped a few more cherries into her mouth. “It's how our community thrives. Aloha is more than just "hello" and "goodbye". It's a feeling and a way of life.” Noa was no stranger to explaining the Hawaiian culture to haole and it was something she was always proud to do, evident by the tone of her voice and the happy twinkle in her eyes. However, that twinkle was gone as the conversation moved towards Kick. She turned her head the other way to see him being ganged up on, fear hiding beneath his gaze. “ʻAʻole au i ʻike,” she commented.

It took her a moment to realize that he likely didn't understand what she'd said. “I don't know. This is my first summer spent at home in five years...” Her nose crinkled some as she continued to intensely watch the scene fold out in front of her. “It doesn't look like they know him either. If they don't know him, he's a fresh face. Besides -- If he was a Lahaina frequent tourist, he'd know better than to act this way. Unless he's pupule...” There was a light hint of a smile as she assumed the man to be insane. Her eyes followed Kick as he quickly scrambled past her brothers and cousin, her smile growing wider. The procession of Kealoha males behind him became the focus of her gaze soon enough and she gave a soft laugh. “One down, fifty to go.”

Kick had all but lost his composure as he nearly ran for the door, pulling it wide open only to find a massive man, that was bigger than even Keoni, standing on the other side and looking down at him. His jaw clenched along with his fists as he took a step back. Noa, however, was less frightened. She gave a wave and a bright smile. “Aloha kakahiaka, makuakane!”

Her greeting drew Mano's gaze away from Kick and to his daughter, a smile spreading on his face as he pushed past Kick to sweep her off of the barstool and into a tight hug. “Ay, ho'o kamalani! You ran out this morning. Didn't give me a kiss or anything, you brat.” She squirmed as he assaulted her with kisses like she was still his eight year old little girl. Kick watched on with a perplexed expression, one foot out of the door. How is anyone in this family so successful? They are heathens with no professionalism... He had retreated into his thoughts so much that he hadn't noticed that Mano had turned to him. “I think it's best that you leave, Kick. Just hearing about you has already pissed me off. I don't want to hear anything you've got to say.” And just like that, Kick felt the bitter taste of failure. He hadn't even had the chance to speak with the man yet... And he was being kicked out.

He knew that it would be futile to argue, retreating quietly with a brave face.

Mano turned to Daniel and offered out a hand to shake with a cordial smile. “Mr. Hilton. I know you were expecting to meet with Akamu, but I'll be speaking on business in his behalf.”

Noa debated on whether or not she should stay, straightening out her hair that her father had messed up, a smile still on her face. Curious, she decided that staying would be alright, taking a seat back on her stool and resuming the consumption of her cherries.

Daniel's hand firmly met with Mano's paired with his charming smile. "A pleasure, sir," Daniel greeted. However, Daniel felt somewhat disappointed that he could not speak directly with Akamu. But he would make do. His words had to be careful after seeing how the Kealoha brothers just chased away that Kick character. Surprisingly though, Daniel did not feel intimidated. Perhaps he should have been, but he was confident in his diplomatic approach.

"I was hoping to discuss an offer on the behalf of Hilton Hotels and Resorts," Daniel paused. He was not expecting this conversation to go over that well, but the least he could do was leave a much better impression than Kick Masters. That would be fairly easy. "It would be of greater profit to both parties involved. My company would like to propose a partnership by buying the property of the Kealoha Hotel and Resort while giving Akamu thirty percent of the profits. The name of our hotel business alone already increases the profits by trifold."

"Our uncle sell his hotel?" said a daring Keokolo who decided to intervene. Though he was not quite nearly as aggressive as he was with the other haole. At least this man showed some respect and was not regarding his younger sister as a piece of meat. He glanced down at Daniel's cup of coffee.

"Hey Noa, I wahi kope na‘u," Keo slyly grinned as he practically demanded a cup of coffee from Noa in front of their father. It would most likely piss her off which was the precise reason why he asked in the first place. Turning back to Daniel, Keo decided to speak more on Akamu's behalf. "Get out from under that rock, haole."

Keo leaned up against the counter than eyed Noa with amusement and another stupid grin of satisfaction. Daniel appeared somewhat annoyed, but kept his composure nonetheless. At least Keokole was not trying to beat him senseless. The interruption did not thwart his gaze form Mano though, who was the only person he was really interested in hearing a response from.

Noa was unsurprised by Daniel's purpose in Lahaina. However, she was surprised that he was dumb enough to think that any sort of deal would be successful. Mano quirked a light smirk at his son's response before nodding. “My son is right. Akamu would never sell his hotel or partner with haole.” He offered a shrug with his broad shoulders as if to say "sorry", but there was nothing apologetic about his expression. “Lahaina is the last major city where Hawaiian culture thrives. You can't really think that we'll sellout our heritage, our passion, and our community for money.” Mano's voice was deep and firm but far from hostile. He spoke as a professional, though everything about his demeanor was casual. He wore only a loose white tank top and khaki cargo shorts, seemingly a favored outfit for Kealoha men. His eyes cut from Daniel to Keokolo long enough to glare at his son as he addressed Noa.

Noa turned her gaze to her brother and gave a sweet smile that made Keoni and her other two brothers back away from Keokolo, not wanting to be caught in the crossfire. She opened her mouth as if to say something to him, an insult perhaps. Instead, she turned and gathered her things. For a moment, it seemed as though she were retreating, sliding her arms through the straps of her backpack. But she turned on Daniel and offered a dazzling smile. “Now that it's obvious you no longer have business in Lahaina, you should make the most of your summer here. There's a big luau tonight and I need a date. I don't suppose you'd like to accompany me...” She laid on her charm thick, her smoldering gaze boring into his as she worked her mermaid magic and enhanced the innate magnetism that drew people to her.

Keokolo's mouth dropped in protest. First he glared at Noa in disbelief, making a fist and clenching his jaw. Daniel was just as shocked, except there were no signs of anger visible from him. Daniel felt his stomach flutter nervously for some reason. In the back of his mind he knew he should say no, but something about her made him smile and want to say yes.

"Well, uh-" Daniel stammered before being cut off by an enraged Keokolo.

"Absolutely not!" Keo barked. You could almost see his face turning red with anger. "Noa go out with one of your girlfriends. Not this haole."

You would think he was Noa's father the way he spoke. His blood was boiling! How could Noa do such a thing? With a haole! Then Keokolo turned and glared Daniel in the eye, making Daniel feel slightly uncomfortable. Now he felt like he'd suffer the same fate as Kick Masters. Keoni let out another scoff and Kamehameha and Kahiau began to snicker at Keokolo. It was obvious Noa was trying to piss him off, and it definitely worked. Keo was making an angry fist before spewing words through his gritted teeth, "This is not over."

Angrily, Keokolo stomped away seeing as it was almost time to prepare for the morning shift. These haole, always causing them trouble and now they were slowing down the business. "Kokami," Keo muttered underneath his breath. He could not believe Noa did such a thing. He'd get her back for this. Maybe he'd scare the haole into not going with her. For now it'd have to wait especially since Noa was still around.

Daniel blinked in disbelief at what just happened. After Keokolo marched off, Daniel humbly added, "I'd love to go. If that's alright with you, Mano?"

Daniel was a gentleman when it came to dates. So respectfully he figured he'd ask Mano for permission first. Though Daniel received the impression these Kealohas did as they pleased with no one telling them what to do. But it was better safe than sorry.

Mano watched the ordeal with exhaustion written all over his face. “You two will be the death of me,” he sighed forlornly as Keokolo stormed away. Noa only gave an innocent shrug and a smile before returning her attention to Daniel for his answer. Her brows shot up and an expression that seemed to be a mixture of both amusement and disbelief flashed across her face. Mano held his hands up as he walked away behind the bar. “Ay, kāne. That's her decision. You trying to get me murdered?” There was a joking tone to his voice but the gaze that he gave Daniel as he walked by said more than enough. He knew his daughter could take care of herself and wouldn't do anything to put their family or community in danger. Still, he was protective over all of his kids. He was sure that the boys' display towards Kick earlier had given Daniel that message already.

Hiwalani quickly clapped her hands and smiled widely. “Pono! I'll meet you here. Same seat your things are in. Say... Around seven?” Giving a wink, she placed a hand gently against his cheek before turning to head back out to the patio. Maybe the summer spent at home wouldn't be quite as bad as she thought it would. Keokolo could never really say too much against Marcus and Cassidy even though they were haole -- The rest of the family had practically adopted them three years ago. If Keo didn't get it from Noa, someone else would jump his case for harassing them. However, she knew she could piss him off and make him uncomfortable the way he'd been doing to her for five years by spending time with a haole. But not just any haole, Daniel.

Daniel took the few last swigs of his coffee before setting the cup back down on the counter. "I'll see you then. Again it was a pleasure, Mano," He flashed Noa a half smile then a wink before tossing a few dollars on the counter top for the cup of coffee. He had almost entirely forgotten about the luggage he was carrying and heaved a sigh as he headed for the patio. Keokolo was wiping some glasses clean with a rag all the while glaring at Daniel's every movement. Daniel chose to ignore him, it was not worth getting into it with Keokolo. Grabbing his luggage, he waved goodbye to everyone before heading back outside.

Figures. He knew that conversation was not going to work out. It was going to take a lot more effort on his part. Preferably, he'd rather have spoken to Akamu. Daniel then headed for the street waiting for the next taxi that would show. It took a few minutes, but one finally came and the driver helped him load his luggage into the car's trunk. Even though Mano outright refused his offer, he did still land a date. It was strange since he has not dated anyone for a long while. Relationships were not really his thing. In his eyes, it took too much work with little chance at working. But Hiwalani was so pretty, it was hard to resist saying no. As for the deal with Akamu, he thought he should collect his thoughts first and approach the situation at a different angle. He'd have to do some research.

Keokolo angrily dried the glass and silverware he was tasked with. Now that Daniel was gone, every few moments he'd look up and stare down Hiwalani. That Noa. She thinks she can do whatever she wants! She has no idea what she's getting herself into. This is stupid, Keokolo thought as he silently raged. He wasn't even sure how he'd find the haole, but Keo always found a way as long as his mind was set to it. Anyone that knew Keokolo understood how relentless he could be. Sure he was being sarcastic, but not that sarcastic. Dating a haole was an entirely different story than demanding a cup of kope. Besides, he was only joking. Hiwalani was not. Every time he glared at Noa he scowled with disapproval. She was playing with fire now, and Keo would make sure she would get burned.

A chorus of cheers, heavy grunting of approval, and various other noises that made Kick feel like a Puritan among heathens. All around him were the natives in a variety of strange clothing. The men seemed to forget that shirts existed and the women flaunted their breasts, legs, and abdominals like beautiful savages. He watched from the back patio, doing his best to remain hidden, partially in fear that one of the Kealohas he had encountered earlier would notice him. It seemed as though the entire Kealoha family had taken the stage inside Mano's Place, or at least the children. They moved in unison as their dance flowed gracefully, beautifully. It surprised him that even the muscular males could move so beautifully. His eyes remained fixated on one person in particular: Hiwalani-Noa. He heard her voice above the others as they all cried out in their native tongue, often reaching skyward. He could only assume that they were doing some sort of prayer ritual. He found it peculiar and a bit offensive but he knew that he couldn't say as much. He watched as it ended and thought that it might be safe to venture into the crowd of maoli jostling one another as they jumped around.

But it wasn't over just yet.

Hiwalani-Noa took center stage and the atmosphere completely changed. The aggression and inspiration was tangible as she raised a fist in the air and let out what sounded like a battle cry. She was met with more fists in the air and a resounding roar from the crowd and her family behind her. Everyone seemed to be flexing like bodybuilders on steroids at this point, stomping rhythmically and slapping their hands against their chest. “Ngā kaitiaki ki te whawhai!” She cried out into the evening as she and her family engaged in an aggressive war dance that echoed across the beach. “Ngā kaitiaki ki te aroha!” Her family cried back at her and the air grew only thicker and Kick could literally feel fear in his bones but he didn't know why. It began as simply an uncomfortable feeling from such a strange surrounding. It wasn't that he'd never been exposed to the strange traditions of other cultures before. But he'd never been greeted with hatred and hostility. He felt as though all of the natives saw him as a threat now, an enemy.

Noa could feel the energy of her family, of her people, surging through her and it only served to drive her more. Passion was in her voice and she could not stop herself. She could feel it from Hikialani, Hanini, and Honi as well. The four of them allowed the strong merfolk magic that rushed through their veins emanate from their body. It pulsated around them as their emotions flowed through their chant, their voices rising. The chant was one passed down from their great grandfather, the last lover of Liliʻuokalani. It was their family ha'a and a creed to protect Hawaii, something that they lived by every day of their lives. Noa hadn't done this in years and... She missed it. Despite her face being drawn into an expression of fierceness, she was joyous. I'm home, she thought to herself.

“Tu tatou no te Hawaii!”
“Tu tatou no te Maoli!”
“Ki to tatou manawa whakamutunga whawhai tatou!”
“Ki to tatou manawa whakamutunga aroha tatou!”
“He tatou Kealohas me whakahau tatou!”
“He tatou Kealohas me he kingi tatou toto!”
“Kia arata'i ia tatou a koutou!”
“Kia tiakina ai matou e koe!”
“Whawhai tatou mo te ngakau o Hawaii!”
“Whawhai matou ki a koutou!”

As it came to an end, she flexed with her family, their eyes wide and crazy. Their tongues were extended far out of their mouth to the point that it almost hurt -- as they were taught -- and it only added to the ferocity of their appearance, as if the dark paint designs on their face didn't do the trick already. They were met with more calls and cries before they took their bows and exited the stage. Noa had quickly separated from her family to head for the bathroom to change. She re-emerged donning a floral print bikini, her makeup all washed away so that she sported only her permanent ink now, her dark curls dangling around her knees. She looked around, unable to find her friends, assuming that they were either gorging themselves at the buffet or dancing down in the sand. Shrugging, she sought out her date, pushing her way through the crowd with a smile until she had come to the patio table where she'd first met Daniel, her head leaning back when she'd taken her seat.

Kick had eventually mustered up the courage to mingle, swiping a cup of beer from someone passing by. Smirking, he quickly regained his confidence now that he couldn't find a Kealoha in sight, having quickly dodged the view of Noa. Chugging his drink, he threw the cup onto the ground and looked around to see that more “haole”, as the natives called them, began to join the party. He suspected that they weren't quite welcome to join in the natives' heathen ritual. He was definitely more comfortable now, moving his body with the music, thankful that at least that was modern. There were dancers on stage, one of which he recognized as Lilo Kealoha. He ducked so that she might not see him, bumping into a blonde that burgeoned right past him and practically threw him into a redhead. “My apologies, darlin'. I'm not exactly accustomed to such raging parties... These people certainly get out of hand, don't they?” He immediately recovered struck up conversation and put on the charm, his blue eyes twinkling in the firelight of the tiki torches and the golden glow of the setting sun that peeked through the windows. He stood out like a sore thumb, much like the other haole. He reached out and let his hands gently latch onto the pale female so that he might steady her from the bump.

The blonde who'd bumped into him smirked broadly as she continued to bumble around as though wasted already. Curses and laughter followed her as many told her to go home. However, she thought she had made out pretty well from her excursion. She shambled her way to her car and threw her bag into it before heading back towards the loud gathering. Ophelia hadn't come just to steal. The thing that she loved about Hawaii was that there seemed to be a neverending supply of parties – or “luaus”, as they called them – and with that came free food and free drinks. She was running low on cash since purchasing a new fake identification card as well as a cheap car to get around. By far, Hawaii seemed the easiest place to survive. She'd kill to have a roof over her head though. Still, she couldn't complain so long as she went to bed every night filled with pork and mai tais. The young Brit danced her way past a group of girls that looked as though they were in desperate need of some sun and made her way towards the native islanders. She found that they were usually more interesting. Grinning wide, she found herself assimilated into a group of guys and girls, moving her hips in time with the rhythm.

It was about five minutes to seven and Daniel anxiously entered Mano's Place for the second time that day. He was supposed to meet Hiwalani here. As he stepped through the door frame, the music blared in his ears and there was so many people dancing, laughing and drinking he initially felt slightly overwhelmed. He even almost felt guilty for spending time at a Kealoha party. After all, he was after their hotel. With a heavy sigh, he decided to shake those thoughts from his mind and focus on the night. He had changed into an off white broadcloth with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows with a pair of jeans. The music was endearing to his ears and the dancing made him feel excited. He headed towards the back for the patio where Noa said she would meet him.

As Daniel walked onto the patio he immediately noticed Noa and could not help but feel slightly mesmerized by her beauty. There was just something about her smile that was so enchanting to him. Though it did not damage his demeanor or ease. Seeing Noa, he waved with a smile before heading over, ”You look stunning, Hiwalani.” The way he spoke her name so effortlessly you'd think he at least knew how to speak some Hawaiian. He was practically a natural. Taking a seat next to her he gave a half smile while he somewhat slouched back into the chair.

”What an amazing party. Your family sure does know how to run the show. It's been a long time since I last came to a luau,” Daniel said with a light-hearted chuckle. It was almost as though he were in disbelief he was there. His body had the faint smell of cologne and his hair was neatly gelled, with a smooth cowlick at the front of his hairline. On his left wrist he wore a silver rolex watch. He was looking quite fashionable as ever. ”May I buy you a drink?” He lightly tapped on the arms of the chair while biting on his lower lip in synchronization with the music. He never tore his eyes away from Noa's. Daniel always found it inappropriate to stare down your date like a piece of meat.

Meanwhile, Keokolo who had already fancied himself three beers had noticed Daniel strutting towards the back. He was shirtless, only wearing a pair of green shorts along with his necklace. Typical Keokolo. He took another swig of his beer now distracted from the group of friends he was speaking to. He excused himself as he walked away feeling somewhat tipsy already. Though the party just started, he was not even close to being finished until he was passed out butt naked on the floor somewhere. It was his usual routine at a luau. Keo had the full intention of embarrassing Noa tonight, but he decided against starting with it now. He'd wait until later when the moment was prime. Suddenly, Keo noticed a haole mingling with the maoli. She had beautiful blonde curls and a provocative body shape. Would he go for it? She was haole after all, but way too attractive to pass up. It was decided. Keokolo smoothly shoved through the crowd while taking a few more gulps of his beer bottle. As he neared the girl he began to bounce up and down, dancing to the music while flexing his muscles hoping to impress the girl.

”Hey babe, I have a question,” Keokolo said smoothly with unwavering confidence. He glanced at the girl, trying his best not to stare at her chest while briefly sucking in his teeth. ”You see, I plan on going for a long walk soon so I was wondering if you could hold this?” Keo then extended his hand gesturing for the pretty lady to grab his, ”That is, after we dance of course.”

Keokolo winked with a smile, revealing some of his almost perfectly white teeth. This babe was drop dead gorgeous, and he'd be damned to pass up this opportunity. His body rocked side to side, ready to seriously get into his party groove. Keo always had a method with women, he'd start with some smooth pick up line, buy them a few drinks on the house, then take the 'lucky' lady somewhere private to have some more fun. Plus, if he failed with this one there were plenty of other women dying to be with him at this party. He had saw Noa's friend Ipo-Lahela Mahelona eying him from the bar, but he was up for a challenge that night. Ipo-Lahela friend was a bit too easy for him.

Kick smiled a bit wider when Ursula agreed with him on the insanity of the party being held. His eyes could not contain the gleam of lust as he watched her purposefully poured out the rest of her drink only to ask that he buy her another. The tone of her already silky voice caused something in him to stir and he couldn't help but to lick his lips a bit too quickly. “Well, then. Allow me, my darling.” He took on his own seductive tone as he gently took her arm and guided her through the party goes, careful not to shove any of the natives but more than willing to push some of the tourists out of the way as they headed for the bar. He didn't recognize anybody behind the bar as a Kealoha, feeling a bit safe in that aspect.

“Apple martini for the lady. I'll have a bourbon on the rocks.” He immediately flagged down the nearest bartender before reaching into his pocket, searching for his wallet. A look of dread crossed his features as he realized it wasn't there. “That little bitch,” he muttered angrily to himself as he recalled the “drunken” blonde that'd bumped into him and threw him into Ursula. She must have picked his pocket. “I swear – These people are the most lawless heathens... They're worse than Mexicans,” he exclaimed to Ursula under his breath.

The bartender came around with their drinks but remained, staring down the young man as he waited for payment. “Can I help you?” He lifted a brow and played it off cool as he took his drink and offered the martini to Ursula before looking back to the young woman behind the bar. “Yeah – That's gonna be seven dollars.” There was spite in her voice, her accent thick. Kick only lifted a brow as if surprised. “Huh... I thought this was an open bar.”

He pointed down the way and indicated a number of locals being handed drinks without offering payment, giving the bartender a smug smile now. She returned it with one of her own, lifting her voice above the music. “Locals only!” Ah, and that's where he had her. Kick gave a shrug and sighed as he leaned forward. “It seems to me that around here locals only means whites excluded. That's called racism, dear. It's actually a punishable offense, that sort of discrimination.” He gave her a hard stare until her resolve crumbled and she was sent stomping away.

Victorious, he turned and raised his glass towards Ursula. “Just got to show 'em who's boss. Now then...” He offered out a hand to Ursula while sipping on his drink before setting the drink down. “Kick Masters, son of Greg Masters.” By his tone, it was easy to tell that he assumed that she would know who he was by his name and that of his father's if she hadn't already pegged him by face. I wonder what this lovely angel with locks of flame is doing here in this den of savages... She's smart, that much is obvious. College student, no doubt. Her face looks familiar... Her name... He gave a soft laugh before shaking his head. “Your mother wouldn't happen to be Amelia Yancey, by chance?”

Hiwalani-Noa wasn't kept waiting for long, her eyes soon set on Daniel and her smile grew a bit. “You don't look half bad yourself, Daniel.” She took note of his excellent pronunciation and wondered just how often he visited Hawaii. Or perhaps he took some of the scarce classes that offered learning Hawaii's language. She assumed that he was just a frequent visitor. Along with his impeccable timbre, she took in his appearance and gave a light nod of approval. He was a lean thing, hardly bursting with muscles. Still, she could see that he at least worked out and she commended him for that. “I appreciate the offer, but it's an open bar.”

She gave a soft giggle and stood up, glancing to see her clique headed over, their bodies bobbing with the music as they called out to her in a chorus. “C'mon, Mano Wahine!” Cassidy, decked out in leis that Kona had helped her make, flaunted a pink bikini with a black sarong as she reached out and took Noa's hands. “Lilo's the DJ and I've got her playing all of our songs tonight! We'll totally rock the luau!” Noa laughed a bit more and took note that Cassidy was speaking with a heavy Hawaiian timbre. She and her brother had been doing their best to learn about and immerse themselves within the culture since they'd first arrived. Noa appreciated that about them.

Marcus, however, seemed a bit perturbed. He tried his best not to show it. “Who's new guy?” The muscular male stood alongside and equally irate Kimo, both of them flexing a bit as if to assert dominance. It was Alamea who spoke up, stepping forward past the two older guys that were wearing only black shorts so that they could show off their plethora of tattoos.

Alamea seemed to be the only one of their group that lacked in the body ink department, sporting only a small tribal tattoo that was a symbol of her family on her upper left forearm. It was obvious that she was “the shy and innocent” one of the group from her demeanor and plain pink one-piece bathing suit. “Daniel Hilton – Heir to the Hilton throne. He visits in the summer... You guys usually leave in summer, right?” She twirled her dark brown hair as she uncomfortably spoke louder than usual to beat the loud noise. This seemed to only further irritate Marcus and Kimo. The girls simply rolled their eyes. Noa pulled herself up with Cassidy's help before taking Daniel's hands and shimmying her way to the crowd to dance with him in tow.

“Let's work up a decent sweat before I take you up on that drink.”

She gave him her most dazzling smile as her friends joined her, Cassidy and Alamea keeping Marcus and Kimo entertained while Noa twirled and twerked, shuffled and swayed in time to the music and the heavy drums. She moved in close proximity to him, nearly every part of her body brushing against him. Her arms extended as her hands moved across him, caressing gently as she pulled him closer with laughter. Her movements were precise and fluid, moving with unearthly grace as she let the music fill her from head to toe and command her body.

She laughed some more when the song ended before feeling herself being pulled away by Alamea and Cassidy as Beyoncé's Upgrade U came over the speakers. The trio took a triangle formation before launching into a choreographed dance, their movements seductive and urban. The crowd formed a circle and cheered them on as they moved in sync with one another. They eventually dispersed into a one-by-one freestyle before moving into the crowd to give others the chance to show off. Noa clapped and cheered with her back against Daniel as she enjoyed the show. She turned her body just a bit, pressed tightly against him as she leaned up. “Enjoying yourself so far?”

Ophelia had been blindly enjoying herself, sharing drinks with anyone who offered. She wasn't at all worried about being drugged, having been around Lahaina and its parties long enough to know that the natives weren't like that. That, and she was pretty sure that they hadn't built up a tolerance to roofies. She had passed a cup of strawberry daiquiri back to one of the guys she was dancing with before she found herself faced with Keokolo. The blonde's eyebrows shot up as he asked her to take his hand and go for a walk with him. Was he serious?

He seemed pretty serious.

She kept her mouth closed, giving herself a mysterious and somewhat cold air as she pretended to ignore him, continuing to dance with almost everyone but him. She'd noticed him eying her earlier and she couldn't blame him. The buxom beauty sported a stylish one-piece that squeezed comfortably against her figure and accented the shape and size of her breasts and butt. The barefooted British beauty put her hands in the air as she swerved her body teasingly, taunting him with her rump as she lowered to the ground, earning cheers, and came back up.

She spun around to face Keokolo before taking a few closer steps until her breasts were pushed against him while she leaned up to his ear, her London accent coming out smooth and seductive with a playful tone. “You think you're quite charming, ay, mate?” She gave a soft giggle before pulling back, winking at him. She knew exactly who he was and who his family was. Most girls would be flattered and excited that Keo took notice in them, though Ophelia wasn't. She had picked up on his reputation rather quickly and knew that he'd fuck practically any female that offered. She was drunk enough that she'd probably end up making out with him, but the look in his eyes (and his rep) said that he wanted more. And she'd prefer that he worked for it. Plus, the native girl at the bar killing Ophelia a thousand times over with her gaze said that there'd be some drama if she decided to get buckwild with the handsome young prince.

She disappeared into the crowd, caring little whether he followed her or not. She twirled about and made her way to the buffet that they had laid out, piling food onto a plate before carrying herself down to the beach where the waves caressed the shore. She stood so that the waves chilled her feet, her toes curling into the soft, brown mud. She ate the delicious plate on her food and contemplated staying in Hawaii longer. She wondered if all the towns and cities were like this one, a smile on her face as she thought about it. She could spend the rest of her life hopping around and living off of the parties and picked pockets. It was a nice idea, that was for sure. The view was definitely worth it, finding herself constantly in awe of the scenery. It seemed that tonight was an exceptional night; The stars littered the sky and shone brightly, the orange moon full as the blue ocean reflected it hanging in the velvet sky.

Daniel was seemingly untroubled by Noa's friend's agitated expression and flexing of the muscles. It seemed like aggression was just a normal trait all these Hawaiians had. At this point he was starting to get used to it. Though the shy girl of the group spoke on his behalf which won her a smile from him as a sign of thanks. Suddenly he was being dragged away by Noa to go dance in the crowd. Her movements were mesmerizing as her body brushed past him and gently touched his body. His own hips swaying back and forth smoothly with the blaring music with his arms lifted in the air in response to Noa. He laughed with her as they enjoyed themselves. Occasionally Daniel would slip his hands into hers and they would lift then drop like a wave in the music, his shoulders moving back and forth along with his feet. At one point he was just bouncing up and down thrusting his fist into the air.

Suddenly a new song began to play and Daniel recognized it to be by Beyonce, though he was not exactly familiar with the tune. Noa was quickly pulled away by her friends who then performed a choreographed dance in a triangle formation. Daniel had to admit he was quite impressed, he felt intoxicated even. This girl definitely knew how to have a great time. Everyone cheered, including Daniel and once the three broke away from the spotlight Noa was pressing up against him again with her back. “Enjoying yourself so far?" she asked.

Daniel could not help but laugh as he briefly wrapped his arms around her to speak in her ear, ”You're amazing Hiwalani. It's refreshing to meet someone with such energy. I'm very impressed.”

At that note, he grabbed her hands and twirled her around to face him again, a smile painted across his face. A new song began to play and Daniel felt quite excited by the atmosphere. He released her hands, his knees bending at a fair pace towards the beat. His dancing skills were not nearly on Noa's level, but they were decent enough. As the beat dropped he found himself throwing his fist into the air again and strobe lights began to flicker quickly as though their own reality was skipping frames. The party was just getting started and the night was young.

"For my first night back in Hawaii, this was definitely not what I was expecting," Daniel shouted above the music. "Shall we get some drinks? Let's take things up a notch!"

As Kick passed her a new apple martini, she quickly took a few gulps at the fresh taste. This drink was one of her favorites. She could not help but smirk at Kick's remark about the people here. The comment seemed to be more of a short rant and she did not care to question him why. Ursula had to admit she felt quite aroused by the man's ability to handle himself. He managed to get them free drinks for the rest of the night. Now that was something.

“Kick Masters, son of Greg Masters,” Kick introduced himself. Ursula's eyes widened slightly as she did recognize his name which resulted in a sly grin as she took another sip of her drink. “Your mother wouldn't happen to be Amelia Yancey, by chance?"

This won Kick another smirk. Her eyes were approving. This man obviously had some class and intelligence. He was quite articulate, and if he was who he said he was... she could use this opportunity to her advantage. Her eyes glanced up at Kick seductively, mischievously even, ”Oh? Seems like someone knows all about me. Congratulations.” Her eyes rolled a bit at before returning to her sly grin.

”Well, I know plenty about yours and your father's... schemes. Bartender!” Ursula shouted after gulping down the last few sips of her glass and slamming her glass on the counter. ”Bring us a couple of shots, will 'ya?” She winked at the bartender who was scowling at her and Kick and angrily brought them their shots, the small glasses clanking loudly against the counter.

”Excuse me, but, are we going to have a problem here, miss? ” Ursula barked with spite. ”Because I really don't like when I'm provided with shitty service. Maybe I'll take it up with your manager and announce to the public just how much Mano's Place discriminates against it's customers.”

The bartender glared at her, her expression hardened before her lips turned back up into a happy smile, "Let me know if you need anything else." Ursula mockingly waved goodbye to the bartender before her focus reverted back to Kick. Her brow was slightly arched as she eyed him carefully, feeling the buzz starting to wash over her. She could not help but giggle as she set down the empty glass then stood up from her chair and began to shake her hips and scrunch her hair biting down on her lip. ”Do you dance, Kick?”

Keokolo was quite taken aback with the babe's response. She completely ignored him, seemed annoyed even than had the audacity to tease him! He licked his lips and rubbed his chin with frustration as he longingly watched her dance with almost everyone but him. It was a bit humiliating for Keo, he hardly ever had a challenge. Then she was in front of him, her backside dropping towards the floor before coming back up and it took every nerve in his body not to grab her behind. He was breathless, watching how her breasts bounced in her one piece and she continued to teasingly flaunt her flawless body.

“You think you're quite charming, ay, mate?” she said sarcastically with a wink.

This killed Keokolo. Her British accent made him feel even more turned on. His expression said it all, mixed with disbelief and lust as he glanced her over again in the worst of ways. Suddenly she was gone, disappearing into the crowd. Keokolo shouted after her but she ignored him. Rejection stung and resonated in him and he angrily took a few more swigs of his beer, no longer dancing nor enjoying the music. He headed towards the bar grumpily, keeping an eye out for the dazzling blonde who got away from his sight. He then saw her at the buffet but he needed some time to recover from the sting she left him. He leaned up against the bar, quickly catching the glance of the bartender so he rose his beer bottle in the air and she nodded before bringing him another one.

”Mahalo,” Keo shouted above the music and loud drunken voices. He took a few more sips, not quite tipsy yet but felt himself getting there. Keokolo considered himself a 'professional' drinker as though it were something to be proud of. It was then that he caught the eye of Kick Masters and a fiery redhead beside him sitting at the bar. As though things could not possibly go 'worse' for Keo. What the hell was this haole doing back here? Then, across the room he saw Hiwalani dancing with the other haole from before! A scowl planted itself across his face and suddenly Keokolo was no longer enjoying this luau. Angrily he decided to approach Kick and his woman who he suddenly recognized to be that nasty Ursula Yancey he always hated. He never saw much of the girl, but the few times he did was enough to get underneath his skin. He then thought twice about what he was going to say to Kick since he felt quite suspicious that Ursula was even at a luau they were hosting. He never saw her at their parties, this was a first.

Keokolo then gripped Kick by the shoulder, his alcoholic breath meeting Kick's ear, ”Was the message earlier not clear enough for you, haole? Okole Puka! What the hell are you doing here?”

Keokolo had been drinking, which means he would not hesitate to be more aggressive than usual. He then caught the redhead's eye who was watching him curiously and with entirely too much excitement. It made Keokolo somewhat uncomfortable. He quickly straightened up deciding against starting a fight right then and there.

”I'm watching you, Kick,” Keo spat, gesturing two fingers at his eyes before pointing them back at Kick. It was the first time he said the blonde's name and he said it in a very mocking tone. He somewhat sloppily walked away, glaring directly at Noa and her friend Daniel. ”It's payback time, Hiwalani!” he muttered under his breath before chugging his beer bottle and tossing it in a nearby trash can. He'd get back Noa then go after that bodacious babe just one more time.

“Schemes? You make it all sound... evil,” he laughed softly as he took another sip of his drink. “It's all just business.” He gave a shrug and watched with eyes of desire as she blackmailed the bartender, finding himself to be aroused by the sweetness of her voice despite being so harsh. Even her bark is like a drop of honey... He bit down on his bottom lip and lifted his chin some, watching as the bartender tried to adopt a kinder charade while pouring their shots. He downed the remainder of his liqueur before taking the shot poured for him, downing it just as quickly as she had. His eyes followed her, hungrily so, as she made her way to the floor with her enticing dance. While there were many other women dancing about, most of them far more scantily clad than she, his attention was focused solely on her.

He was about to slide from his seat to join her before he was met by an angry, and apparently drunken, Keokolo Kealoha. He lifted a brow as the young native threatened him. He wasn't afraid this time, lifting his chin defiantly with a smirk as Keo made the universal signal for “I'm watching you” while also saying it before walking away. He was positive that the royal brat wouldn't dare to so much as raise a fist to him in such a public setting, inebriated as he might be. Shaking his head, he watched Keokolo turn his attention to his sister and Daniel. At the sight of Hiwalani-Noa out of her tribal gear and fierce paint, he could not help but to gawk. Her face was lit up with a smile and the bikini she wore... Oh, how it so tightly hugged her curves, as abundant as they were. Her flesh seemed to glow in the flickering firelight and that of the strobe lights. His eyes were drawn again to her breasts as they bounced with her body. Such a beautiful savage...

It seemed as though Keokolo was looking to pick a fight with the two of them and Kick was immediately sure that he didn't want a part of it. Instead, he looked over to see that the bartender had poured them another round of shots. Tearing his gaze from Hiwalani, he grabbed the two shot glasses and handed one to Ursula, watching the way she swayed her hips and bit down on her lip. He swayed with her in a much less graceful manner, finding it a bit strange. He wasn't much of a dancing guy and could just barely imitate the sort of random movements that he's seen Ian Somerhalder do as Damon Salvatore in Vampire Diaries, managing to muck that up a bit. “Actually, I do. But my preferred style is best done on a bed. Or beach. Backseat of a car.” He smirk suggestively as he dropped none-too-subtle hints about his intentions while he circled her after taking his shot and tossing the glass into a nearby trashbin.

Hiwalani-Noa found herself thoroughly in a most enjoyable mood as she closed her eyes and danced with Daniel, her smile never leaving her face. She fist pumped with him, bouncing around as she watched Kimo and Marcus engage in a danceoff. “Oh, you haven't seen anything yet; You should see my house parties.” She laughed some more, seeming to be just bubbling over with giggles as the infectious music and Daniel's smiled moved her. Cassidy gave her a knowing look that made her just roll her eyes. She easily kept her energy flowing, having a copious amount of stamina to spend. Still, her tan body was glistening with sweat and her hair was beginning to stick to her as she whipped her neck around, a few people laughing as they got hit with the locks.

At the suggestion of drinks, she gave a bob of her head and yelled over the music. “Definitely!” She took his hands once more, noticing how soft they were, and tugged him through the crowd of sweaty maoli and haole jumping around and grinding against one another. It was definitely a great way to start off the summer, partying all night long with the people she grew up with. She could see her brothers around, only the older ones and the other three halves of her set. This luau was certainly not for any children – The others were at home with Mano and Ailani. Akamu was supervising, along with Lilo and Keoni since they were the oldest and Malie couldn't come. It certainly wouldn't look good on her aunt Malie at this point if she was caught doing a keg stand with a bunch of frat boys chanting “chug” around her.

Keoni watched from his perch near the stage, keeping a close eye on his family and making sure that there wasn't too much trouble. He sucked in his cheeks at the sight of Noa seeming to enjoy herself with Daniel. He didn't approve but he knew that he had no place to tell her what she could and couldn't do; The Kealoha family had always placed a high value on personal freedom. However, he would be watching the two of them until the end of the summer, suspicious of Daniel's intentions. He didn't want Hiwalani-Noa hurt and he certainly didn't want his family hurt because of it. He was more than aware of her desire for relationships but inability due to Keokolo. Part of him said that it wasn't his business while the other half assured him that it was completely his business. Such was a terrible situation to be stuck in. His eyes narrowed as she laughed her way into the restaurant, bumping into Keo. Noa turned to see her drunk brother a lifted a brow but took a step to go around him, still intent on ignoring him.

She was followed and she didn't mind that quite so much. She was allowed to enjoy her food in peace, wading a bit further out into the water until it lapped at her legs. She looked around for a trash bin, but was unable to find one. Sighing, she headed to leave the water and made her way back to the party. She couldn't help but to smile a bit at how happy everyone was, though she had to dodge a bit to keep random sorority girls and frat boys from pulling her into a selfie. The last thing she needed was for the authorities to find her photograph online only to track her down and haul her off to prison. She was way too pretty for prison.

She found her way to the center of a dance circle and bust out a few of her own moves, earning her own cheers as she made a show of mambo mixed with shuffling along with a backflip, ending with the splits. She had to get up quickly to avoid getting sand into places that it shouldn't exist in, deciding that she'd go and find Keokolo to tease him a bit more. She didn't see any harm in it and, with perhaps a few bad judgment calls on her end, she might end with a fling by the end of the night. Unless she decided to string him along for a while and make him really work for it. She hadn't decided quite yet, trying to decide if she really wanted sex that badly.

She had found him eventually, after pushing through enough people, watching him angrily staring off with a girl and her date. She assumed that it might be an ex that broke his heart, but moving around so that she could see the girl's face allowed her to see that she was his sister. Ophelia knew of Hiwalani-Noa but, she was unaware of the feud between the two. Curious as to what would go down, she quickly grabbed a drink and a stool, taking a front row seat while she watched in a less than subtle manner.

Ursula's eyes quickly lit up upon seeing Keokolo Kealoha. Interestingly enough, it seemed as though he and Kick knew each other but not on friendly terms. This made her smirk in a sly manner. In fact, while Ursula was simply enjoying the night she was also calculating. This Kick guy could prove to be useful later on. He began to dance with her though she could quickly notice it was not exactly his thing. He then answered her question with, “Actually, I do. But my preferred style is best done on a bed. Or beach. Backseat of a car.” Ursula then began to press herself against him, her flat stomach doing a sort of belly dance. She then waved the bartender over for another round of shots.

”I thought you'd never ask,” Ursula grinned playfully. Their shots were brought over a few moments later and Ursula gulped the second one down as quickly as the last round. She was feeling really loose at this point, giddy, playful, somewhat tingly, maybe even wobbly. She then grabbed onto Kick's hands, seductively licking her lips as she pulled him away from the bar. It was probably best to do this in her car since it was a roomy SUV. Leading him outside towards the parking lot, she pointed towards her black shaded Lexus NX 200t. She stumbled a bit in her footsteps before finally standing before the vehicle dangling her car keys as she unlocked the doors. She slung her arms around his neck and began to plant gentle pecks on his neck, which eventually led to his face, then left her firmly pressing her lips against Kick's.

Daniel raised a brow at Noa saying this party was simply 'nothing.' He could only imagine what her house parties were like. He could not help but grin as Hiwalani dragged him off towards the bar. She was such a beautiful girl, independent and free. Those were qualities he truly admired. Her smile almost lit up the room in his eyes. Daniel did not mind a beer or two, but nothing more. He did not exactly find it tasteful to get hammered at a party. He had to hold onto some sense of dignity. Happily the two were almost at the bar when Noa bumped into Keokolo who did not appear happy in the slightest. His arms were crossed as he furiously glared at Noa before his eyes narrowed onto Daniel. Noa seemed to ignore Keo though and Daniel could not help but notice she's been ignoring her brother all this time. He was somewhat puzzled.

Keokolo on the other hand, was not going to let this fly. As Noa passed, he gripped onto Daniel's arm who returned his furious gaze with alarm. Keo was now the one ignoring Noa and he leaned in close to Daniel so that the man could hear every word he had to say, "First you go after my uncle's hotel. That doesn't work out for you, so now you're trying to win your way with my sister for some clout? You sick bastard.”

Daniel tore away from Keo's grasp, his lips pressed tightly together. He let go of Hiwalani's hand and simply glared back at Keokolo who was now starting to irk him. This guy did not know how to relax, he was so uptight. Were all the Kealoha men this way? How bothersome.

"My professional life and private life are two completely different matters. No, I'm not trying to gain anything by befriending your sister. I'm not a worthless scum,” Daniel retorted as he glanced Keo over as if to hint at something. He could not help but smell the scent of alcohol reeking all over Keokolo's breath. "I think you had too much to drink tonight, buddy.”

Big mistake. Keokolo was now standing between Daniel and Noa. His chest just barely touching Daniel's while his lips took the form of a pout, "What was that, haole? Are you calling me a scumbag?”

"I did not call you anything. But I won't deny thinking so,” Daniel scoffed with disgust, his temper starting to flare. He took a deep breath in an attempt to compose himself before he said something he did not mean.

Keo pushed Daniel back a bit. "You better stay away from my sister. Kealoha's don't welcome any haole in our home.”

"I think Noa can decided for herself what she wants to do,” Daniel said sarcastically. The tension was beginning to stifle and the two were eye to eye, either ready to fight at any second. Though physical violence was not exactly what Daniel had in mind.

"Why don't you ask Noa why she even asked you here tonight? You really think she's going to settle for a haole? Go ahead Hiwalani. Tell him. I dare you,” Keo shouted angrily. He was speaking rather quickly and sharp. Some people who surrounded them stopped dancing to watch but the party continued to carry on for the most part. They were not bringing too much attention to themselves just yet.

Kick smirked as she took on another shot and witnessed her quickly begin to become more comfortable, wicked thoughts forming in his mind. His hands were all over her body, groping and caressing, before he downed his own shot and dropped the glass on the floor. He allowed her to tow him outside, his eyes undressing her in the lights that were growing ever dim the further away from the restaurant that they went. Kick wasn't the least bit surprised that she was so quick to give herself over to him. If he could seduce the preacher's daughter in church and get her to hook up with him in the bathroom during Sunday's sermon, he could certainly win over a politician's tipsy daughter at a beach party. It served only to further boost his already inflated ego and arouse him further, though he'd almost hoped that it would be a bit more of a challenge. He certainly wasn't complaining about it, though. While she didn't have that exotic flair that the island girls had, his father would certainly approve of this choice.

He pressed her against her Lexus, mentally approving her choice of vehicle. It was immediately obvious that he was the type who preferred to possess all the control, grabbing at her waist and pulling her tighter against him the moment their lips locked. His hand drifted away only to reach out and open the back passenger side door with precision and ease that said that this wasn't his first time. He picked her up and pulled her legs around him before walking her to the car and scrambling in, using his foot to pull the door to a close. He paused a moment to look down at Ursula, admiring the way her fiery locks splayed out on the seat and tumbled to the floor, complimenting her porcelain flesh while bringing attention to her pink lips and blue eyes. It seemed that everything about her complimented every other feature to perfection.

He pulled her shirt over her head and her shorts had come off soon after. He left his clothes on, only unzipping his pants, before descending upon her like a lion onto a gazelle. Kick was none too gentle in his show of affection, his tight grip leaving marks against her flesh as he grunted and groaned, thrusting into her and rocking the vehicle. He hadn't really expected the night to end this way, though he had planned on it. He was near his climax and he could tell she was, as well. However, the flash of red and blue lights forced him to stop, simply out of curiosity. It was the rapping of metal against the glass window that got him frustrated. “We're gonna need the both of you to come out – With your clothes on. We've received a number of complaints concerning your lewd activities and you're being taken in for indecent exposure.” Kick growled as he zipped himself up and punched the back of the seat. He had no doubt that the bartender who'd been feeding them such strong shots was the one behind this. “Are you fucking kidding me?!”

“Daniel... He's not worth it,” Noa started. However, it seemed that the two were intent on exchanging words. It wasn't too long before Keo had moved to stand between she and her date, getting her fuming. She could feel herself loosing her grip on her emotions, her hands clenching into fists. It wasn't until Keokolo finally addressed her that she had all but lost it, letting anger seep into her. Wind blew from outside, whipping into a frenzy and tossing hair about, blowing empty cups off of tables and making the decorations flail about wildly. The fire of the tiki torches went out and she could hear the angry waves crashing outside. There were murmurs around her about the “strange” and sudden shift of weather but she knew that her family members would soon be closing in on she and Keokolo to prevent them from doing something stupid. And she wasn't wrong. Keoni made the scene first and went straight for Keo while Hanini, Honi, and Hikialani did their best to combat against her will, though it didn't do much. She was stronger than them.

Keoni grabbed his drunken cousin by the elbow and began to drag him behind the bar and into the kitchen. Noa watched with daggers in her eyes until she could no longer see her elder brother, her fists slowly unfurling and the weather calming down as she did in kind. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath, shrugging her shoulders to rid herself of her brothers' hands. Once she had found herself feeling better, she moved towards Daniel. “Please... Don't listen to him; He's drunk. I'm really sorry about the drama. I figured he'd be the one to start something.... But I don't regret bringing you here. I really have been having an amazing time. But I understand if you want to go now. I might be heading out soon, too.” While Noa wasn't head over heels or even so much as crushing on Daniel, she was having a fun time with him. Yes, she wanted to invoke Keokolo's ire and show him what it felt like to have her private life bother him, but he didn't seem to get it. At this point, she kind of just wanted to get away from the rest of the party so she wouldn't have to be around Keo. Her hand had slipped into Daniel's, giving it a squeeze as she waited for his answer.

Ursula was feeling all but too exhilarated by Kick's overpowering dominance. It was such a thrill as they made their way into the backseat as Kick practically off her shirt and shorts. He was rough, and she thoroughly enjoyed every second of it as her own nails dug into his skin as they both neared their climax. However, the fun was cut short when an officer was suddenly tapping on the window demanding they exit the vehicle for indecent exposure.

"Shit,” she gasped angrily as she quickly dressed herself while a knot began to form in the pit of her stomach. She would never hear the end of this from her mother, Amelia Yancey. If word of this got out, it would hurt her mother's campaign. Suddenly she was far from interested in Kick and if anything felt annoyed by his somewhat violent reaction in punching the back of the seat. Rolling her eyes, she exited the vehicle and glared at the small group of people surrounding the scene. How am I going to fix this one?

"Ma'am I'm afraid I'm going to have to place you and your friend here under arrest," the officer stated with annoyance. "I'm going to need you two to put your hands up in the air and face the vehicle."

"He's not my friend,” Ursula snapped with protest before she hesitantly faced the car with her hands in the air. The officer grabbed her hands with little force before twisting them behind her back and cuffing them. "This is ridiculous, officer.”

A second officer began to detain Kick as well and all Ursula could manage to do was scowl. Even if she was slightly drunk, she was a law student after all. She was aware that anything she said now could be held against her later on even with the public if word were to spread. The officer then began to recite to her the Miranda Rights, "You have the right to remain silent and to refuse to answer questions. Anything you do or say may be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to consult an attorney before speaking to the police and to have an attorney present during questioning now or in the future. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you before any questioning if you wish. If you decide to answer questions now without an attorney present, you will still have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to an attorney."

Ursula only scoffed as she was dragged away and placed into the officer's vehicle. She knew her mother would come pay her bail, though it would not be a pleasant experience. Now she was acting as though she never interacted with Kick at all and that none of this had even occurred.

Keokolo felt himself feel absolutely outraged by Noa's livid reaction. As the wind began to pick up in speed, causing the flames of the torches to die out and send cups tumbling off of the tables, Keo's own body severely tensed as though there was fire in his eyes. The gusts of wind piling into the restaurant became exceedingly stronger, managing to even push some people and cause them to lose their footing before whipping around Noa. You could hear some gasps and shouts amongst the crowd. It was starting to become dangerous. Then suddenly Keo felt his focus break as Keoni tightly gripped his elbow and dragged him away. The wind died down and the storm calmed shortly after as Keo was forced into the kitchen.

"Kokami Keokolo oe kanapapiki!" Keoni cursed furiously throwing his hands in the air. "Are you stupid!? Are you literally this stupid?"

"E kala mai ia‘u,” Keokolo grunted his apologies though he did not appear sorry in the slightest. "Besides, she's the one who was instigating.”

"'Ai Kae, Keo. You need to learn when to keep your mouth shut. I don't trust that haole either but it's her decision. You have to lighten up," Keoni groaned with disbelief at Keo's display of arrogance.

"That is exactly the problem!” Keo exclaimed slurring his words a bit in his drunken state. He was somewhat wobbly standing on his own so he tried to lower himself to the floor which ended up with him slightly falling back into the wall. He looked miserable and grouchy, the skin of his back slightly sticking to the wall from the humidity. "No one ever wants to say anything, so I have to do it.”

Watching the drunken Keokolo be dragged away and after experiencing that strange shift in weather, Daniel was visibly annoyed. It was for reasons exactly like this that he hardly ever came to luaus. He could not exactly explain what had him so on edge, but it was nothing personally against Hiwalani. Noa broke his thoughts as she interjected her own. Though Daniel gave her a cold shoulder, not even responding aside from shaking his head in disapproval. Tucking his hands into his pockets, he walked away scoffing feeling the need to collect his thoughts. He was aware he was being particularly cold in this instant, but this ordeal was ridiculous. He was supposed to be focused on his task here in Hawaii, not befriending the very people he was trying to take down. He exited Mano's Place not even bothering to glance back.

Fortunately, Daniel did manage to rent pick up the rental car the company purchased for him. It was an Infiniti Q60 Coupe, something the company picked. His father loved luxurious things though Daniel did not particularly care for them. While he trudged through the lot he could not help but notice Kick Masters and a redhead being arrested in front of a vehicle. This slightly picked up his mood and he could not help but chuckle as he approached his car. Finally sitting inside, he heaved a heavy sigh of frustration while gripping the steering wheel with both hands and allowing his forehead to rest on top. He did not start the car yet, for now he just wanted to sit and think. Certainly this was no time to really involve himself with women. He kept his distance from women and relationships for quite some time. It was not that he hard a time dating, he was just never interested and most definitely should not be now. What he was here to do in Lahaina was much too important and he refused to let his father down.

Saturday had marked the beginning of summer and it was supposed to go off without a hitch. However, after Daniel had left without even saying goodbye, an upset Noa found herself heading down the beach with her friends and her three merman brothers so that they could escape the party. They had all swam out to her island – though her friends had to catch rides with some sharks – and spent the rest of the night there with their own little luau that ended with her making out with Marcus after everyone else had passed out. Once he had passed out, she had gone out for another swim before tiring and passing out in the ocean.

She woke now to see trickles of sunlight that danced off of the water as she floated a good ten feet below the surface. She inhaled deeply, feeling the water exit the gills that resided on either side of her neck while she took in the oxygen. Sighing, she gave herself a massive push with her fin and broke the water's surface. She didn't hide herself, floating happily with her fin flopping about as she looked around. She knew that nobody was around and even if there were someone, they'd just think they were going crazy. Or everyone else would think they were crazy. She sighed and spit out some water before deciding to head back to Lahaina so she could prepare for the day. Cassidy had suggested a beach day that was free of drama and Keokolo. Noa insisted that her irritating brother was just going to stalk her to make her miserable but her friends talked her into it and she had her other brothers, Hikialani and the bunch, agree to making sure that Keo left her alone.

She dove back beneath the surface, her fin flopping against the water's surface before she jetted through the liquid and headed home. It was lucky for her that her grandfather didn't just own his home, but the surrounding beach area. He'd had haole arrested for coming onto his beach before and nobody ever came back without permission or being close to him. He had bought the beach specifically for Hiwalani-Noa, Hikialani, Hanini, and Honi when their powers had developed, allowing them to splash about and learn how to use and control their abilities as well as swim freely without fear of nets or random passersby. She resurfaced near the beach and found her cousin, Roselani, waiting for her. “Aloha, Noa.” The tall girl lifted a brow and smirked, helping Noa out of the water, tugging her onto the sand.

“Aloha, Rose!” She lay down as her cousin used her powers to apply a generous, but non-dangerous, amount of heat to her tail. As the water dried, her scales began to sink back into her flesh and disappear, her legs taking shape. “I'll see you later – I've got a group to show around the jungle in twenty. Aloha au ia 'oe.” Rose was gone soon after, leaving Noa to rush away from the waves before they could lap back up to her legs. The naked young native to rush into her home up the hill. Whether her grandfather was in or not didn't matter – He used to change her diapers so it wasn't anything he hadn't already seen. Though, he wasn't there. Instead, Cassidy and Marcus were emerging from their rooms just as she made it to the hallway. Marcus came to a complete halt, his lips curving into a goofy grin at the sight of her naked. She and Cassidy both rolled their eyes as she moved past them to her room. “So, you guys go start packing some stuff and we can head down to the beach. Maybe we'll take out the boat!”

“Yeah... Alright.” Marcus was slow to walk away, not fulling turning around until Noa had disappeared into her room. She didn't bother scrubbing off the salt water, knowing that it wouldn't make too much of a difference. She merely spritzed herself with some perfume and put on a pink bikini and a sarong before grabbing her usual bag and bolting downstairs, jumping down the last three. She found her friends in the kitchen packing their own bags. “There's a lot of tourists down on the beach acting like donkeys' asses,” Cassidy warned as she neatly placed some sandwiches into her backpack. Marcus only laughed, grabbing drinks along with sushi, waving it at Noa. “Grandad made this before he left this morning!” Noa smiled at her friends as she packed fruit. “I'm sure a very special song will make them rethink their actions.” There was a gleam of mischief in her eyes as she and her two friends headed out the door and loaded themselves onto their ATVs, taking off to the beach area for their daily dose of social interaction.

It didn't take long to get there and Cassidy was definitely right about the high number of tourists and their deplorable behavior. Noa rolled her eyes as they joined the rest of their friends along with three of her brothers and set up their area. They smiled and laughed with one another as they shared lunch after the volleyball net was set up, Hiwalani-Noa lying back on her towel and tanning while listening to Lilo talk to Alamea about her many travels. “How do you guys feel about diving later? We can get a fresh catch for a big bonfire 'aina ahiahi tonight and maybe some things to make some jewelry and stuff?” She nudged Ipo as the others smiled, her brothers high-fiving one another. “Yeah, we haven't done that since we were itty bitty,” Hanini laughed while the others agreed.

Ophelia's night had gone on and she didn't see Keokolo after that. She had made her way to more dancing before taking her small car and heading a few towns over, finding some seedy pawn shops to get rid of some things she had picked from pockets before ditching the wallets she had found. She had picked up enough money to get a cheap room on the second floor of the Kealoha hotel, deciding that it was a good investment. She loved that even the cheapest rooms were extremely nice and the staff was just as amazing. She crawled into bed in the wee hours of the morning, reeking of alcohol – She had gone back to the party for a while after spending her money and walked to the hotel. Keoni had been taking a shift that night, his father taking his post at the luau, and found her nearly passed out in the bushes. He helped her inside and even tucked her in. She was glad that she didn't embarrass herself by throwing herself at him. She didn't have time for that – She was too busy snoring.

She woke up to sunlight blinding her, wincing at the headache that worsened with the rays. Groaning, she stumbled out of bed and stripped off her clothes before heading for the shower to clear her head. She spent an hour under the water, staying there until it went completely cold. She was a bit surprised that nobody seemed fazed about her walking around in a silk robe as she went out to her car to get an outfit for the day.

After a good breakfast and about seven cups of coffee, five of them decaf, she was ready to tackle the day. She headed for the beach, walking at a leisurely pace with a smile. She was glad that she had chosen Hawaii, soaking up the atmosphere. Looking around, she got the simple feeling that everywhere was home. Everyone dressed so casually and greeted everyone with a smile. It gave her a nice feeling and only made her want to stay longer. She was offered some fruit by a few vendors and had racked up a nice little lunch by the time she reached the beach. She looked around and spotted a good amount of Kealohas, though she wasn't looking for any one of them in particular. Instead, she set up her towel near the shoreline, just out of reach of the waves. Her picnic was small, but she enjoyed the sandwiches and fruit.

Ursula had hardly even slept last night. The night was hazy in her mind, her head throbbing with a hangover. She felt too tired to try to string together what even happened. What she did remember was her body rubbing against Kick Masters and feeling him thrust fiercely inside her in the backseat of her Lexus. That was followed by an officer knocking on the window and arresting the two of them for indecent exposure shortly after. It was safe to say Amelia Yancey was not very happy to receive a phone call from the police station explaining that her daughter had been arrested. As though she were in a crazed frenzy, Amelia Yancey rushed to the station and paid her daughter's bail as soon as she could. Oh did Ursula certainly get an earful from her mother. Not only for getting in trouble, but because it could possibly hurt her mother's campaign in her running for mayor. The press did not waste a second in writing the story, for it was already in the morning paper.

So Ursula was what she sarcastically called on "probation" with her mother. Amelia Yancey would remain furious with her daughter for awhile, unless she was to redeem herself that is... Her mother decided for her that she would go to the beach today to spy on the Kealoha's who would all be there for the most part. Ursula humbly agreed, guilty for her actions. Though she had a much more sinister plot stirring in her mind. She assumed the Kealoha's had played a part in her arrest last night, specifically the bartenders and that Keoni who seemed to had been running the bar. Her mother also demanded her to forget about that Kick character. Ursula just rolled her eyes at this but agreed. Though that may have been a lie. See, Kick Masters could be of later use to her. But she had to admit she wasn't even sure she liked him while sober and did not really want to deal with him. His ego was annoying huge, and he was way in over his head. After a few cups of coffee with her mother who was giving her the silent treatment, she quickly dressed in a pair of shorts that were ripped at the hemming as a style and an emerald green bikini. She let her hair hang loose, the beach waves of her hair flowing just past her shoulders and very little makeup. Puckering her lips as she admired herself in her vanity mirror, she decided to take off. It wasn't long before she had pulled up at the beach and made her way towards the shore. Plenty of people were starting to gather and the place was infested with Kealoha's. Ugh, how many of them are there? Did each Kealoha have about five illegitimate kids or something? Jeez. Her lips curled into a scowl as she removed her flip flops to walk more easily against the sand with a tote bag hanging around her shoulder.

Stopping a few feet away from a rather exquisite looking blonde, she set up her own beach towel then quickly rubbed sun tanning lotion on herself. Her pale skin burned rather easily so she had to be careful. Again she glanced at the blonde girl curiously as she leaned back, propped slightly against her elbows so she could observe her surroundings. Ursula automatically felt as though she would not like this female, though she could not help but feel some sort of lust towards her. Obviously she wasn't a native islander, but her lips were so plump looking that she craved to nibble on them. It had been some time since she last been with another girl. She was fairly certain she saw the girl at the luau last night too, but could not confirm this so the thought quickly left her mind. Regardless, it was best she avoid any more lewd encounters for awhile. She did not stare for long though, her attention quickly stolen by a few loud mouths laying on beach towels around a volleyball net. She quickly recognized two of them to be Hiwalani-Noa Kealoha and Lilo Kealoha. How perfect. The rest of them must be friends of theirs. She could hear a decent amount of their conversations as well which made her life easier. So she continued to act casual and rest against her towel, enjoying the heat and occasional breeze that came from the ocean.
