Rin and Rue aren’t your average sisters. Though they are only half siblings, they are closer than most full siblings. Their father, a famous actor (half Japanese half French), had a relationship with two women around the same time. Rin was born first, but only a couple of days before Rue. The two were raised by Rue’s mother after she was married to their father (Rin’s mother died in child birth). Due to the fact that Rin was not her child, Rue was always treated better than her sister – on the other hand, Rin was treated as if she was the bastard child. As they continued to grow, their father’s wealth grew and the attention given to the sisters grew limited. Essentially, they began to take care of themselves around the age of seven.

Rin
-the oldest-
If you wanted to physically describe her, the first word that would come to mind would be exotic, at least for a Japanese girl. Because her mother was English, her features are less Japanese than her sister’s. A set of almond-shaped icy blue eyes are set into an angled face with high cheek bones and a delicate chin. Long wavy black hair ripples down her back, ending at her tail-bone – side-swept bangs frame her face. Her olive skin is pale and soft and is often burnt on her shoulders and arms. She stands at a small 5’3’’ with a slender frame and a weight of 105 pounds.
Due to her rough treatment from her mother, Rin is rare to let people see her true self. Instead she puts on a hard outer shell to protect herself from the world. She is sharp-tongued, witty, and is rare to let others push her around. Her fiery nature is often toned down, however, as she tends to be very quiet unless being spoken to or being bothered. Truthfully, though, Rin’s feelings are easily hurt. She is shy and doesn’t want to let anybody in, scared they’ll break her heart. While she seems to be mean when dealing with other people’s problems, she is actually doing what she feels is best. So in other words, her nice, gentle actions are often seen as irresponsible and annoying.
She is not a hostess, but often hangs around.

Rue
-the youngest-
Like her sister, her mixed parentage has left her with features not common in Japan. Her mother was French, which contributes to her blonde hair and green eyes. She has similar facial features to her sister, such as the cheekbones and chin and eye-shape, but aside from these, the two don’t look alike much at all. Straight blonde hair falls to her tail-bone and blunt bangs cross her forehead, softening her strong features. She is also pale, though has peachy undertones to her skin. She stands an inch shorter than her sister and isn’t as developed body-wise; she weighs around 100 pounds.
While most would think her to be as cold as her sister, Rue is exactly the opposite. She is gentle, sweet, and an all-around nice girl. You might think of her as naïve and innocent, but she is actually very intelligent and understands much more than she leads on. She is very hard to anger or annoy, but you better watch out when you’ve pushed too far. Rue is fairly nervous around guys, which makes her appear clumsy and not that bright. If anything, the one thing that really ticks her off is when people try to mess with her sister.
She is a hostess.

So begins...

The limo pulled up just outside the front gate and rolled to a gentle stop. From the drivers door a suited man exited, walking around the front of the vehicle to open the door which faced the school. The first to emerge was a girl with luscious black hair and a set of startling blue eyes; the second a girl with blonde locks cascading down her back and emerald eyes to match. Their European heritage mixed with the common Japanese features made for two surprisingly beautiful girls.

"The school called, Ms. Rue," the driver said politely. "They wanted to inform you that you were accepted into the Host Club."

"Oh goodie!" the blonde squealed. She nudged her sister with her shoulder. "I can't wait to meet everyone!"

The dark haired sister shrugged her shoulders indifferently.

Realizing she was waiting for her message, the driver shut the door and turned to her with a slack face. "The soccer team would be glad to have you, Ms. Rin."

Nodding coldly in his direction, she grabbed her sister's hand. "Let's go," she muttered, and off they went.
---

"Kyouuuuuuya~!" Tamaki came dancing into the room, grinning from ear to ear. "Look how big the room is! Ohhh I can't wait to see all of the smiling faces!" He slung an arm around his friend's shoulders. "Just imagine how happy we can make people here. And now we have girls working as well!" He sighed and his gleeful energy seemed to quiet into a gentle happiness.

"Is anyone here?" came a voice from the door.

The blonde swiveled around on his heel and waved at the girl. "Yes yes, do come in!"

Tamaki was struggling to contain his excitement. How many new faces! Oh, this was exciting! He shifted from foot to foot, his grin spreading to an alarming length. "Good afternoon!" he greeted, unsure who to introduce himself to first. Instead, he decided it best to examine from afar, allowing Kyouya to speak out the names first so he could get his thoughts straight.
--

Natsu Kyoto trudged down the hallway with hands in pockets and a frown upon his face. He carerfully picked his way through the groups of students, not exactly excited to be there and but not exactly not excited to be there. College was an interesting place full of scares and wonders; he just hoped the Host Club wasn't going to be one of the scares. His mother had signed him up for the club without his consideration - not that he actually cared, but something was telling him that he wasn't going to like what he was getting himself into. He entered the room after briefly poking his head through the door. A set of identical twins had entered just before him. Fantastic. One more confusing part of college for him to handle.

"Yo," he greeted, dark eyes flickering around the room with a hazy glow.
--

"I really don't want to go to the club with you," Rin whined. Her sister had taken the lead, dragging her away from the safety of the soccer club's room and towards the other side of the school to meet the members of her club.

"Oh come on, Rin!" Rue squealed. "I can't wait! I hear there are identicle twins! I wonder if I'll be able to tell them apart." She giggled in glee, her excitement almost making her unbearable to look at without becoming blinded.

Her dark haired sister sighed with flashing blue eyes. "There's always a way to tell them apart," she muttered.

They finally reached the room, entering just after a dark haired boy. Rue announced their presence with a hearty "Hello!" while Rin remained behind her, not exactly wanting to be seen or noticed at all.

Kaoru was amazed to see that so many people had already entered the Host Club room. Tamaki was laying back, not too much like him but it was clear that he was letting Kyouya handle all of the technical stuff. It looked like Kyouya was talking to a girl with long dark hair too, before she moved over to Tamaki. He was glad to see that everyone was socializing and hoped that the host club hadn't changed much since the couple years that they had to be in high school while the others moved on to collage.

His thoughts were interrupted by his brother turning around to the two girls and dark-haired guy that had just walked in. "Hello to you to! My name's Hikaru." He said with a smile to the blonde girl who had announced their presence. Kaoru also turned around on his heels and stood beside his brother with a bright smile. "And I'm Kaoru!" He said, directing it mostly to both girls instead of just the one. "What are your names?" they both said at the same time, though not on purpose. They actually did that a lot. In fact, about 99.9% of the time they wouldn't actually mean to say things at the same time but they would end up doing it anyway.

"I'm Rue, this is my sister, Rin. She isn't in this club but she's just tagging along."

Hikaru could tell the dark-haired girl seemed to be a little, well, more than a little uninterested in the two of them, but he didn't mind it too much. She was probably just shy or something. That was all he could guess with how she was looking around the room. It was clear she didn't want to make much eye contact with the two of them. "It's great to meet you both." The twins said at the same time, both with a cheerful smile. "It's a shame though, that your sister isn't joining the host club." Kaoru said, still with a smile but a hint of sadness also in his tone. "Yea, you two are very beautiful, but it's great to know that at least one of you will be joining us!" Hikaru said just before he heard Tamaki say "Introductions! Of course!" in a rather loud tone. The brothers stopped talking and turned their heads in the direction of Tamaki.

"Collage and the boss hasn't changed at all.." Kaoru mumbled with a slight smile, only loud enough for Hikaru to hear as the two watched Tamaki practically latch onto Kyouya. Hikaru gave a small chuckle in agreement. He was at least happy to see that Tamaki was doing alright even though Haruhi wasn't around. True, the host club wouldn't really be the same again without her, but they couldn't hold her back from doing greater things. He had to admit, he really missed her too and was sad to see her go, but she wasn't going to be gone forever and someday they would see her again. Plus, they had plenty knew faces in the host club to pick on.

After Tamaki had introduced himself and Kyouya, another girl with long dark hair introduced herself as Yuki Kanagawa. Costume design huh? Hikaru thought to himself as him and Kaoru both took a couple steps to the right and leaned themselves against the left wall beside the door. "Should we introduce ourselves next?" Kaoru asked, glancing over at his brother. "Nahh, we can go ahead and wait for everyone else. I wanna here everyone's names first." Hikaru replied and Kaoru gave a brief nod and a smile. "Alright me too. This is the first time we have had female hosts in the Host Club. I wonder what kind of people we have." Kaoru leaned in a little closer to his brother. "The guy with the dark hair who kind of reminds me of Mori but without Honey, is it just me or is he a little scarey?" Kaoru whispered to his brother, who just glanced over at Natsu for a moment, then turned his attention back on the others making introductions. "Not really, and anyway if he tried to hurt you, you know I'd protect you silly. So you don't have to be scared." Kaoru smiled again and leaned himself back against the wall, happy to hear that Hikaru still hasn't changed much since Haruhi left.

Sora eyed from the couch at the large crowd, she wondered if she should take part in their conversations. Tamaki Suoh introduced himself to everyone and proudly announced something about a mom and a dad? Could he be referring to himself?

She collected her thoughts and left her bag on the sofa, she now was approaching the group, hoping to join their chit chat. She smiled brightly, about to say hello when Kyoya seemed to speak up first. She puffed out her cheeks, a bit frustrated she couldn't emerge herself in some conversations. "We will try to pick out a type for each of our new Hosts so we know which clients to recommend them to. For the mean while lets take a look at what we have to work with this year." she tilted her head a bit in confusion, type? Kyoya then began to lead the group to show them around. He lead them to quite a nice area, though it didn't peek her interest too much. She then understood what he meant when he said types, 'he must have meant personality' she thought.

Spacing out a bit, her eyes traveled over to the girl with black hair. She didn't look as though she really anted to be here, was she not a host?

"This here for mailing for our young men visiting us and a few ladies. You can play video games or watch movies." she paused in almost an instant. Her eyes practically smiling themselves along with her own bright smile. She had never seen such beauty in her life, it was true that she was wealthy; but her father believed she should work on her own to provide money for personal wants. It was a kind of way of teaching her it isn't always easy peasy to get what she wanted, especially since her father used to be a simple commoner himself; he knew the hardships.

While he lead them to the other sections of the room, she stayed by the big t.v. and gazed at it. The short girl didn't care much for studying, nor a ballroom. This, this here was what amazed her most of all out of this whole room.

"So what do you guys think?"

Sora quickly turned to him with the eyes of a child getting a new toy. " It's great! I can't wait to play all these games with everyone! " she rejoined everyone " This year is going to be a great one!"

"She's not very good with people," the blonde replied to Kaoru. "Rough time at home, ya know?" Rue's face up lit up like the sun at Hikaru's comment. "You're too sweet!" she chirped quietly as a boy with blonde hair began to speak. What an interesting group of people were here. Not only were there a set of identical twins, but there was a mixture of dark and light people in the room. One in particular, a dark-haired boy in the back of the room, made her a little cautious, though at the same time something about her liked his mysterious nature. Perhaps out of nervous nature, she subconsciously moved closer to the twins as they were led around the room.

Her sister glanced lightly over Rue's shoulder at Kaoru, trying to distinguish whether or not the tone in his voice had meant anything or not. A shame? Rin flushed at Hikaru's words and snapped her head around to gaze at the two people talking. It wasn't often she was complimented, especially by someone she just met. Most people tended to shy away from her as she seemed to give off a cold shoulder to anyone and everyone around. As the group was escorted around, Rin stuck close to her sister, not exactly wanting to draw any more attention than she was already getting.

--

Tamaki smiled broadly at Kyouya as if he'd done a good dead. He removed himself from his friend's side and gave him some space to allow him to start the tour. His excitement was building as they were led around the room. The reactions on their faces were great and they filled him with an odd sort of joy. When they finally stopped by the courtyard window, he weaved through the group to stand beside Kyouya. "Don't worry if you aren't comfortable right now," he said seriously. "I promise we will make this a family. You won't feel comfortable anywhere else once we all get to know each other." He returned almost immediately to a boyish grin, glee written all across his face. "I can't wait to see all the pretty ladies!"

"How exactly are you funding this place?" Natsu called out from the back of the group. His dark eyes flickered around the room.

The blonde host opened his mouth and closed it several times before looking to Kyouya for assistance.

"Wow, this place is a lot bigger than I expected." Koaru said, his eyes moving around the room as Kyouya showed them around, though him and his brother weren't really paying much attention to what Kyouya was saying. Well, the little bits where he would mention something about expenses was expected. Seemed to Kaoru that not even Kyouya had changed much since Haruhi left. It wasn't a bad thing, but it made him a little sad in a way. Hopefully the new people in the host club would help fill up the empty whole at least a little bit.

"It's kind of bigger, but really it just has more stuff. It'll be kind of weird having girl hosts but who knows, might be fun too." Hikaru said in reply to Kaoru, who just smiled. "The video games might be fun!" Kaoru said with an excited tone of voice. "Yea! we'll get to show off our awesome skills! Right Koaru?" Hikaru asked his brother as the short tour came to an end. Kaoru just laughed and gave his brother a thumbs up. "Right!"

"I can't wait to see all the pretty ladies!"

The twins little conversation was interrupted by Tamaki's loud voice. Yep..hasn't changed at all", Kaoru thought to himself with a smile. There were a lot of pretty girls joining the club, particularly the two girls in front of them that they were talking to before. Then again, he hadn't really had much of a chance to talk to the other few girls in the room. One of them who had stopped at the video game room and said that she couldn't wait to play games actually caught Hikaru's eye for a moment.

"How exactly are you funding this place?"

A voice called out from the back of the group and the two turned their heads and looked at the dark-haired boy who just spoke. "Ohh, he talked!" Kaoru whispered to Hiakru with a surprised looked on his face, though he had a joking tone of voice. Hikaru looked back to see what Tamaki's answer was but, as expected, he left the question for Kyouya. Where is this guy from? He thought to himself, then looked back at Natsu. Hikaru couldn't recall ever seeing this person before but he wasn't really all that interested anyway. Kaoru on the other had, although he did get a bit of an eerie feeling from him, he couldn't help but feel curious about Natsu and wondered if maybe later the two of them should try and talk to him, but he decided he'd go ahead and let Hikaru make the final decision.

The doors flew open and giggling filled the room, "Heeyyyyy sorry were late," Honey cheers from Mori's shoulders, "I dropped Usa-Chan in some water! So Takashi ran the rest of the way so he could dry!"
Waving the pink bunny in the air he said, "OOoooh there are so many people in here! Hi Ladies!!!" he waved.
"Hello." Mori stated as he walked into the room, Honey happily bouncing on his shoulders. He stopped next to Kyouya and set Honey down.
"Sorry were late," he apologized blankly as he took a seat. Spinning the dessert tray on the table he places a piece of strawberry cake across from him and rested his head on hids hand to watch Honey run about the room.

Honey ran through the room with Usa-chan and began greeting everyone starting with the Hitachiin twins, "Hi Kaoru, Hi Hikaru! Hi Tamaki!
Seeing all the newcomers he waved cheerfully, "Hello everyone! My name is Mitsukuni but you can call me Honey!" Hugging Usa-chan he plopped at the table across from Takashi and began munching on the strawberry cake at the table. With a full mouth he said, "Kyouya this cake is sooo good! You should have a piece!"
