Generations of rulers have had affable relationships, save for the dark times, and the two peoples generally work well with each other. Keeping true to custom, though the reasons may possibly be more personal, Amalia somewhat surprises Darcy with a letter of her visiting, or with a straight up visit to his kingdom out of the blue. Being the workaholic that he is, Darcy doesn't visit Amalia's kingdom nearly as often, but he tries his best to attend to their events when invited. While the kingdoms are a distance away for an entirely direct relationship, they've usually been on agreeable terms, including trade.
The Caprians offer their resources found in their alps, including lumber, oil, coal, and special ores and minerals. In exchange, the Virians give their greenery, meats, medicine, and other Virian exclusives. Most trade is done overseas. Along with the exchange of imports and exports, they are each other's support, the Caprians benefitting from data from the Virian's military personnel, and the Virians aided by the Caprians tributes. Information is exchanged between the two lands regularly, and they enjoy their cooperative relationship.
Although, with the war splitting the two into separate sides, there is much confusion on how to treat the other. The general consensus seems to be that either side wishes not to be caught in each other's crossfire.
