ImageSashi hadn't much clue where she was going, The Loa were always giving her directions not destinations. They didn't know how to navigate this new world anymore then she did. At least they had memories of what it used to be. As far as Sashi knew this was the world, it was only the Loa saying now nee everything was that she learned something had change. It was quite a bit actually.

Before long, things were beginning to look more civilized, and by civilized, she might there were other people...more or less, around. "Hey, look here." called a creature, he wore a human face but the Loa told her he was a demon. Sashi merely rolled her eyes. Which of the Loa would she have to deploy in order to dispatch these creatures, she wasn't sure.
"Piss off, " was her response, before she noticed the others that surrounded her. It was a camp she stumbled on, and she was outnumbered, even with the Loa. She could only deploy one at a time, and the one she would need, didn't like to give her her body back once she was done. She'd woken up in plenty a bed, having no idea how she got there, thanks to Nibo....

His friends began to surround her and the whispering started, all of the Loa, wanting to feel flesh again or for the first time, begging her to choose them, but she wouldn't choose any of them just yet. She didn't have to deploy them if she used magic. They used her body, but that also gave her access to all of their knowledge. Too bad she didn't have the time to use any spells, a binding spell would be easy enough, or a zombifaction one, then she could have these creatures working for her.

As she was deciding, they pressed forward, reaching for her, causing her to swing. "Don't touch me!" She hissed by that just seemed to amuse them. "You smell delicious...." one said. ""Mm, She does.." Said another. " She smells almost...."" They all seem to come to the same conclusion. "Human...."

Sashi braced for an attack but before she could do anything, a man...Fae-ish according to the Loa, approached them. The Demons all stopped, turning to him. Sashi did too, just as he pulled back his hood, revealing his -rather handsome- face.
The Demons all had their attention on him, and after a verbal exchange it was over. Just like that, The man seemed to arrest the group with a touch to his chest, a glow of something, be it an mark or a artifact of magical nature, she could be sure, but it was over just like that. Sashi couldn't even process what just happened. A moment ago, she was fairly certain she was going to have to give her body over to the Loa or allow herself to be rape, neither of which were much different from the other.

These woods are particularly dangerous for those who travel alone," The man said, and Sashi shifted her weight to a leg, her arms crossed. She was grateful, sure but she wasn't an invalid, nor was she ever truly alone. "So close to the castle, the Queen's soldiers patrol these areas a lot, I've learned. And they're not the most civilized of men, as you've undoubtedly learned."

"Yea, No fake.... She murmured, as he reached out, and the energy in front of him shifted, as he reached for something from some far off place, and pulled back a map. Sashi could only watch, straightening, her hands fallen to her side, her jaw hanging like a broken door hinge. The Loa all began to kick up a fit, like angry bees buzzing around in her head, but trapped, so they banged on the walls.
He glanced at the map and then simply put it back, like it was merely sitting on a desk, not through some interdimensional wormhole. "I was just heading to a nearby village. It's very close now," he told her. "Would you allow me to escort you there?" He asked and Sashi stared at him bewildered. "Are you serious?" She asked. "Okay for starters I should say thank you, but I'm not really sure why you did that....or how? I thought portal opening was blocked....that's what---" She stopped, not wanting to say how she got that information. "That's What I've heard"She went one. "So How in the Hell did you do that....and why would you want me to go with you?"

There was a brief moment of silence in which the woman he'd saved merely stood and stared at him. She seemed surprised, and he couldn't really blame her, although he didn't know exactly why she was glaring at him like he'd just grown a second head.

"Are you serious?" she suddenly asked, and Rahmiel found himself frowning slightly at that. "Okay for starters I should say thank you, but I'm not really sure why you did that... or how? I thought portal opening was blocked, that's what-" she continued but suddenly caught herself and went silent, as if she was trying to choose her words carefully. Rahmiel didn't press the issue; he was a man who liked his own privacy and if she wished to keep certain things from him, he didn't feel it was really his business to enquire further. "That's what I've heard," she finally piped up, and he could only offer a slight nod in response. He'd have a hard time explaining that, he quickly realized, and regretted not being a bit more careful about demonstrating such abilities in the presence of others. "So how in the Hell did you do that... and why would you want me to go with you?"

Rahmiel moved very quickly to the nearest tree and stood with his back against it, his arms crossed over his chest while his eyes eventually wandered back to the woman. "Forgive me if I sound rude, but there are many things about myself and my abilities that I do not share with others," he told her after a moment's contemplation. "As for your second question... Helping people is kind of my thing nowadays," he continued, visibly relaxing some whilst talking in a more casual manner. "If you don't want my help, I understand. You don't look weak to me, I'm sure you can handle yourself well enough. But I'm heading to the village either way, so if you'd like to tag along for the rest of the way you're more than welcome to accompany me." There was a very small smile creeping its way onto his features, and after a second or two, he moved away from the tree and began walking. "Shouldn't be more than a few hours away," he added as he looked up, not stopping. He'd given her a choice, it was her decision whether or not to follow him. He'd taken care of the main problem, that was good enough for the time being. Still, he couldn't help but hope she'd see sense enough to travel with him.

Image"Forgive me if I sound rude, but there are many things about myself and my abilities that I do not share with others," He told her after a moment. Sashi couldn't say she blamed him for that bu the Loa in her mind wanted to know more. She wouldn't push the issue though. He did just save her, not from the demons though. "As for your second question... Helping people is kind of my thing nowadays," He said and arched his eyebrow. "Uh huh?" She murmured dubiously."If you don't want my help, I understand. You don't look weak to me, I'm sure you can handle yourself well enough. But I'm heading to the village either way, so if you'd like to tag along for the rest of the way you're more than welcome to accompany me." He said and started walking away. Sashi rolled her eyes. It was probably best that she didn't wander this world alone and he did save her, so if he wanted her to join him...whatever those reasons actually are because she wasn't buying that one, then fair enough. He was right, she could handle herself so if he ran out of kindness, he'd have a whole lot on his hands, more than what he would probably expect. He was getting a little further away before he spoke up again. "Shouldn't be more than a few hours away," He said and she sighed. It didn't help that the Loa wanted to be near him for some reason, so she decided... "Oh What the hell, Wait up!" She called and lightly jogged after him. Once she matched pace with him and she offered her hand. "I'm Sashi, by the way, and Thanks." She said, "Officially." She said rolling her eyes but cracking a small smirk.

" Ahhh.. I suppose you are right... "Sunday" I will submit to your word, You have convinced me." Asmos said and Sunday raised a dark eyebrow as he pulled his sword from his back and getting to his knees. The Fae that was with her hesitated but the demons all knew as well as Sunday did. He accepted her, acknowledging her as a royal and Queen, and if she didn't know any better she would have though he was pledging his loyalty...to her? But she knew better.
You are so very reminiscent of your mother, Whether you admit it or not. He spoke, this time in demon, and just to her, and she twitched. She was nothing like her mother....nothing...

She looked to the demons and jerked her head his direction.. and they chained his arms, chanting a small spell to seal them in place so that he could only move as far as Sunday would allow. The spell they used was one she created, infused Fae magic with Demon magic. It was something she and her Grandmother worked together on before this all began. The Thought of her Grandmother made her chest ache. So she turned, pulling her wings back and them fading in to her skin, she entered the tent. She looked at her father, a sheepish expression on her face. "Father...At the risk of sounding redundant...there is a demon wishing and audience with the two of us....He's even submitted to my chains for this assembly..." She said, hoping that she didn't upset him too much by this. He was perfectly capable of handling himself, he was the one to free her from the Demon Tower. So she wanted to return the favor as much as she could. She was stronger now, and oddly enough, she felt good about actually calling herself Queen.
Still, his disapproval was something she did not want, no matter how much she wanted to protect him.

"Oh what the hell, wait up!"

Rahmiel couldn't fight the smile that twitched at the corners of his mouth in that moment. He felt a strange sense of relief then, listening closely as her hurried footsteps became louder. By the time she caught up to him, his smile had long since vanished and was instead replaced by a rather serious expression, his eyes trained forward until her extended hand entered his vision. He turned to her, hesitating a moment before finally offering his own hand to shake hers once, after which it retreated into the long sleeve of his cloak. "I'm Sashi, by the way, and thanks," she began. "Officially."

She then smirked, and he had to take care not to mirror it. He gave a slight nod and turned his head, focusing again on where they were going. "Rahmiel," he replied simply, taking particular care with his words. "And you're very welcome, Sashi. It's a pleasure to meet you." He paused then, as if he wasn't quite sure what to say to her. He was only helping her out, he didn't feel they had to bond on any level, but the time would pass too slowly without conversation, and so after clearing his throat, he began again. "Mind if I ask what you were doing out here alone?" he asked. "No offense meant, but you don't look much like a traveller." He attempted a light tone of voice but still felt he was being a bit too intrusive, and the awkwardness showed on his expression - much that he tried to mask it. He was not - nor had he ever been - much of a conversationalist.

Simon appeared once again not far outside of the camp, rising from the ground wherever the shadows would permit it. He allowed himself a quick look at his surroundings, before a loud exhale on his behalf filled the silence. Stretching his arms out, he clicked his joints each in turn, and set off at a steady jog, moving through the dense woodland with ease. He didn't quite know where he was headed, and he didn't quite care, he just knew he needed to be away from the camp. Away from her.

The Davenports had a nasty habit of running from their problems. Anyone who spent enough time around his family would say as much. Simon had always been more like his father than he ever cared to admit.

A sound from behind disrupted his thoughts and caused him to halt suddenly; it was almost as if something had landed on the forest floor. He turned, frown heavy, and laid eyes upon his daughter. "Father... I did not mean to offend you... You are the leader... and without you this whole camp would fall to ruin," Sunday began. Had his face not been cloaked in darkness, the rolling of his eyes would have been visible. As it was, his emotions were entirely hidden. "That is why I chose to go out there, stop him, if I die, the rebellion would go on, but you, if you died... None of us will." Simon lifted his head with a hiss. On any other day he would have appreciated her attempts to keep him safe, but his distorted thoughts at that moment caused him to believe she was only calling him weak.

"I've seen the things that creature can do, and I know you're strong, that doesn't stop me from being afraid, worrying, I want to protect you just as much as you want to protect me..." she continued after a moment. He could only sigh. "I'm sorry, Father, please don't hate me, I won't do it again."

There was a long moment of silence after Sunday finished speaking; Simon hadn't moved a muscle in that time, his head was lowered, his stare directed at the ground. Finally he looked up, as if he'd just reached some new realisation. "You only came here because you can't return to Asmos without me," he concluded with a firm nod, and paused again as he straightened. "Very well. We'll return to your new pet... If he seeks the audience you promised, I'll give him that at least... For your sake." He expected, by this point, that the shadows would have relented. However, they did not, seemingly haven taken on a mind of their own. "But make no mistake, Sunday. You've dared to claim this new title, you will also claim the responsibilities that come with it."

The shadows wouldn't budge but his body language suggested he was more relaxed, for whatever reason. "I don't hate you. I can't hate you. You're my daughter," he started. His lips parted, and he went to speak again, but stopped himself. He wanted to explain that he was worried about how much she was changing... That she was suddenly a woman, and not his little girl. Instead he released an exasperated huff and started forward. Simon closed the gap between them within seconds and placed an unnaturally cold hand upon her shoulder. They were sinking then, and appeared again where he'd disappeared in the first place.

He took his hand back as soon as he was able, not for himself but because he didn't think she'd appreciate the cold, and stepped around her. "Apologies for the wait," he said without sincerity, ducking out of the tent. He looked the creature up and down, almost surprised by the sight of him. Simon's arms were clasped behind his back. "Well then, let's have done with this, Demon."

Image"Rahmiel," He spoke and Sashi nodded, though the touch of his hand sent the Loa into a frenzy. Familiar.... they hissed in her mind and she had to fight to listen to him, they were so loud. She knew him, but of course she didn't remember. There was shit she could do about it. What was she going to say? Hey, do you remember me, by any chance.
"And you're very welcome, Sashi. It's a pleasure to meet you." He said and she gave a quick nod, allowing her hand to fall to her side as they walked. Images flashed in her mind for the small silence. She saw a house, large, too big to be a house but it felt like a home. She saw figures. A man, she'd seen him in these visions before but it was like looking up though water, everything was distorted, she couldn't make out his features. She'd dreamt of this man, but she never remembered the dream. Then she saw a girl, again, same distortion but she was new. She had a lot of hair, but she could tell it was a female, but she just knew that this was a young girl, she cared for her, she just knew, just like she knew that she cared for the blurryfaced man. Then pain, That damned aching pain she felt in her stomach every time she thought of the man, but it was stronger now with the girl. Who was that girl? Why she did only appear now? After meeting Rahmiel.... It was then that she realized he was speaking. "Huh?" She muttered before his question registered. "Mind if I ask what you were doing out here alone?" he asked.b]"No offense meant, but you don't look much like a traveller." He asked and she chewed her on inner cheek. "I'm more of a wanderer, I guess...I don't really have a destination, so I just walk....eat when I can, sleep when I can, and walk." She said with a shrug before her hand went to her stomach. The pain was too much. too strong. The Loa were buzzing frantically to the point where she hissed in pain and doubled over. clutching her stomach. She panted, trying to breath through the pain, but it was no use. She felt as if she were being stabbed, over and over again. "Calm down...." She spoke but she wasn't talking to herself, but the Loa. They were fighting for dominance, but she didn't know why. She hadn't called on anyone of them, nor did was she in any danger....she hoped. Was it the vision? "Follow the white rabbit." The Loa crooned, this was one voice this time, not many, one she recognized. Ghede Linto....he knew the future. He was fighting to get her attention. Follow the white rabbit "Please, calm down...." She pleaded and it was at that moment a small child popped through the brush, and looked squarely at Rahmiel. Sashi's eyes went wide and the pain ceased almost immediately and even the Loa calmed. Sashi stood slowly, looking at the little girl. She had to be no older than 7 or 8 and....Sashi's eyes went wide. She was clutching a white rabbit in a waistcoat, "Hey, Little one...Where'd you come from?" She asked but the little girl didn't look at her, just stared intently at Rahmiel, almost she if she knew him.

"I'm more of a wanderer, I guess...I don't really have a destination, so I just walk... eat when I can, sleep when I can, and walk."

There were many things that Rahmiel wanted to ask her in that moment. He liked to respect people and their privacy, but he was a curious being regardless. Before his mouth could even form the words, she was doubling over in pain. He halted immediately, watching her with a somewhat startled expression, before his eyes narrowed doubtfully. This was perhaps the worst time for his distrustful habits to kick in, and much that he wanted to walk over and help her, his feet wouldn't carry him forward. He watched as she spoke, seemingly to herself but he couldn't be sure, and he tensed as a result, preparing himself enough that if he needed to use his magic he could so at a moment's notice.

Rahmiel was so wrapped up in whatever Sashi was doing that he barely even noticed the child that appeared until Sashi began to straighten up, her wide eyes directed elsewhere. Confused by this, he attempted to follow her gaze, and that's when he spotted her. She was young, but her features were strangely familiar. He thought for a second that he might've encountered one of her parents before, maybe on his travels, but if that was the case, where were they now? She looked to be alone, but again, he could never truly know.

Her stare was unmoving; Rahmiel felt himself almost squirming beneath it for some odd reason. It felt as if he had butterflies in his stomach, and much that he tried to maintain his composure, his eyes gave him away immediately, displaying a mixture of fear and caution.

Sashi had already attempted to communicate with her, but she said nothing and continued to stare at him, so he swallowed his strange emotions and lowered himself down to one knee, his head habitually tilting to one side, as he began his own attempt. He didn't even know what he might say to the child, so he settled for the first thing that popped into his mind at that particular moment in time. "It's dangerous for you to be out here alone, kid," he said in a gentle voice, then hesitated a little. "Where are your parents? Are they around?

"It's dangerous for you to be out here alone, kid," The man said. Alice knew very well who this man was, he changed his face, his skin, his hair but she knew. She took a step toward him, Mr. White clutched in her arms. Mr. White was the one who told her where to go. How to sneak out of the camp so she could find him. Mr. White was a smart rabbit. "Where are your parents? Are they around?"

Alice opened her mouth to speak, but Mr. White looked up at her, pinkish red eyes warning her. She was the only one who could see him move....Maybe the man could? Alice looked at him, studying his face before nodding. She reached out her hand to him, Mr. White hanging on her other arm. She reached up at the man.

"I think she wants you to pick her up." said the woman. Alice finally looked at her and smiled, as if to say. Yes, you're right.

"Rahmiel...We...I have to follow her." The woman said and Alice looked at her. She was still hurting. Alice could hear the bees. Alice put her arms down and moved to the woman, who knelled down to her, though she was still weak and aching. "You want us to take you home? To your... Mommy?" She offered and Alice nodded once, and then placed a hand on the woman's face. "Shhh..." She said and the woman's eyes went wide. "How...How did you do that?" She stammered and shook her head. "How did you even know? can you hear them?"

Alice nodded again, only once before saying. "Buzz Buzz." The woman's face went white as she braced herself against a tree. Her mind was quiet for now. Alice liked the quiet. "Thank you." She said and Alice merely smiled and walked over to the man again, raising her arms to him so that he could pick her up like she wanted. "Up?"

Rahmiel watched with mild curiosity as the child stopped herself, her eyes suddenly on the doll that she held in her arms. His confused frown deepened some. It was just a doll, but she looked at it as if it was speaking to her. And if that wasn't enough, she then held her arms up to him. He was no fool, he knew exactly what she was after, and it was as this thought popped into his mind that he stood up. He wasn't good with children in the first place, he certainly didn't need to be picking up random kids he encountered in the woods. "I think she wants you to pick her up," Sashi began, and while the child smiled her agreement, Rahmiel shot her a glare sharper than steel. "Rahmiel... We... I have to follow her," she continued after a moment.

He chewed his lip thoughtfully, still looking at her. This would be problematic, he thought. He was not unwilling to allow the child to travel with them; much that he did not like children, he would never leave one to suffer alone. But to follow her? That was entirely different story, and he was much less willing.

The girl once again entered his field of vision, and he watched the interaction between the two of them with an impatient yet somehow still thoughtful frown. Upon observing the two it seemed to be that whatever the little girl had done, it had taken away Sashi's pain, whatever the cause may have been. Though he was listening very carefully to their words, and whatever capacity for placing trust in either of them was very rapidly decreasing.

It wasn't long before the child turned her attention to Rahmiel once again, arms raised as she made her way to him. "Up?" she asked, which caused Rahmiel to click his teeth and shake his head, taking a short step backwards. "You've got your own legs, kid. Use them," he snapped, not meaning it to come across quite as harsh as it did. Still, even after acknowledging his unnecessary tone, his expression softened not a bit. He didn't appreciate being in this situation, and truth be told he really just wanted to up and walk away from the two of them; let them solve their own problems out. But he promised himself he would help those who need helping, so he couldn't. "You said you want to go back to your mother, and we'll take you there, okay? But after that, should my services no longer be of use, we part ways." His eyes flickered to Sashi for a mere second, and sighed as he turned his gaze back to the girl. He half-heartedly gestured forward. "After you."

Image "You've got your own legs, kid. Use them," Alice's face fell as when he moved from her. Why was he so mean? She dropped her hands at her side and frowned at him. Not sadly, but bitterly. "Up?" She asked again but Mr. White told her to stop. "You said you want to go back to your mother, and we'll take you there, okay? But after that, should my services no longer be of use, we part ways." She huffed, before reaching up and taking his hand after he spoke to the lady again. Maybe if he thought of Mommy, then he'd pick her up. She had to take him to see Mommy, Mommy would be happy to see him. Even if he didn't have the same face anymore. Snatching his hand, she narrowed her eyes, and showed him Mommy, Mommy smiling, Mommy singing her songs, and then Mommy crying softly, in her sleep, sometimes when Mommy thought Alice was asleep.

When she was finished showing him Mommy, she dropped her hand and moved to the lady with the bees in her head. She looked up at her and smiled softly. "Up?" She asked and she smiled. "Sure." the lady said though she looked alittle scared. The lady picked her up and cradled her against her chest, Alice's head resting on her shoulder. Alice liked this lady.

The lady then gasped a little, and Alice could see what she saw. She saw Mommy, though she didn't know it was Mommy, her face was all blurry, but Alice knew. Alice looked her in the face. "Mommy?" She said, placing a hand on her the lady's cheek. She frowned. "Um...We're-We're gonna take you to your mommy." She told her and Alice shook her head, before rising a finger to her head and tapping, then brushed her fingers over her eyes. "No....Mommy." she said again and the lady looked at her and swallowed. "You saw? That girl....is your Mommy?" She asked and Alice was pleased, she simply laid her head on her shoulder and sighed. The lady didn't know what to do. ""Um....My name...is Sashi, What's your name?" She asked her and Alice looked at the man again, not rising her head to Sashi. "Alice." Was all she said.

Alec suddenly felt a small hand clasping his own, causing him to look down at the young girl as she scowled up at him. He fought every instinct to snatch his hand back, and had to remind himself that she was only a child. But even so, if he had chosen to act on his urges, the images that filled his mind would have stolen his focus regardless. What he saw left him stunned.

Soon enough she'd returned her attention to Sashi, but Alec hadn't moved a muscle in that time. His heart was pounding and it wasn't for the longest time that he could actually breathe. When he did, his eyes shifted to the pair, paying attention long enough to catch the tail end of their conversation.

"Um... My name... is Sashi. What's your name?"

"Alice."

It took him a moment, admittedly, but once he started to piece it together, he felt his stomach churn. She was staring at him, he knew, but his eyes were darting left and right as he searched his memories for one in specific. If he remembered correctly, he and Sunday had been sitting together in the Hotel's lobby, before she had discovered his involvement in the war... She'd said something back then, something that sent his mind reeling in the present. "I like the name Alice." She'd said. "If we have a daughter, I want to name her Alice."

For a split moment, Alec thought the idea so ridiculous he actually laughed, raising a hand to his forehead. There was no way, the child was far too old. If she was his... she'd be a baby still, surely. Though as he thought about it some more, his expression dropped quite quickly. They lived in a bizarre world, there might be many reasons why a child could age beyond expectation. And even if he wasn't sure, the girl seemed to be. He took a moment or two to look at Alice, picking out the features that most reminded him of Sunday. They shared similarities, that much could not be denied.

Eventually he just shook his head. There was no way. Releasing a loud sigh, Alec ran a hand over his hair and turned back to the both of them, regaining his composure. "Which direction are we going in, then?" he asked Alice. "The sooner we get you home, the better."

ImageAlice smiled as he flitted through his mind, trying to find the memories. She smiled bigger when he found the right one. It was Mommy's favorite. She thought it all the time, everything she read to her, and every quiet moment when she thought she was sleeping. He looked different now but he was still the same person.

He soon asked where they needed to go, and she knew that she made him uncomfortable. Sashi looked at him with a scrunched up nose but didn't say anything to him. Alice heard was she was thinking, though.
Alice looked up and she could hear the panicked thoughts before the beat of the wings. They didn't have to go anywhere but...
"Up." Alice said before Sashi had time to speak. Sashi frowned. "Sorry, sweetness but I can't fly so um, we can go forward." She offered but Alice sat up, looking toward the sky, the wind picked up and she smiled. "Mommy" She said just before the dark wings blocked the moon and she landed, her large wings kicking up wind and grass. Sashi held her tight for a moment as the wind blew against her.

"Alice!" Mommy called and Sashi let her down so Alice could walk up to her. Mommy scooped her up and held her tight, Alice hugged her back "Don't you ever scare Mommy like that, do you hear me?" She said and Alice nodded. "Yes, Mommy. Mr. White told me where to go" Alice said, shrugged with the white rabbit in her arms. She turned her head and looked to him and Sashi. Mommy looked at the man first, and then Sashi. Her eyes went wide.

"What...How....Sashi?" The woman that looked eerily similar to Sashi blinked and Sunday knew. She knew it truly was her but how? She died. She died long before the world changed. Sashi looked at Alice and then back to her. "Y-You know me?" she said and Sunday looked down at her daughter who was smiling at both her and the man behind Sashi. Sunday tried to swallow her tears. "Y-yes, yes, I do." She said and Sashi frowned and stepped forward but then she suddenly clutched her stomach. Sunday started forward but Sashi held up a hand. "I can't remember." She said and Sunday sighed. "I can help you."
"No, I mean, I can't remember, everytime I tried,..it hurts." She said and she clutched her stomach and Sunday gulped. Whatever it was, it started from where she was murdered, she clutched the area where her wretched mother plunged in her dagger. Sunday shook her head, trying to keep tears from falling.
["Alright, I might know someone who can help, if you'd like. She said and her mind went to her father. He was going to be thrilled and heart-broken the same when he saw her. He loved Sashi and held her when she died, he'd never been the same since. She didn't know what he'd do when he saw her. "I'd like that."" She said and stood up straight and then looked back at the man to whom Sunday forgot was there. She gave a tight smile. "I'm sorry, I'm Sunday, Sunday Davenport, You'll have to forgive me, I'm...a little confused, Thank you...Both, for keeping my daughter...she can be a bit odd." She confessed knowing Alice wouldn't mind. She was staring at the man with an odd, knowing look but Sunday was much too emotionally drained for her daughter's oddity. "You are welcome to my camp...Neither of you are demons so you'll be safe and If my daughter trust you to speak in front of you, then you aren't a danger to us." She nodded with a weak smile. Alice knew people in ways no one wanted to be known, she knew secrets, the very inner thoughts of a person if she felt safe enough to stay and wait for her to find her, then she knew they would be safe. "If I may ask your name, to thank you properly." She said and felt something familiar coming from this man. he'd never seen his face before but his presence, it was familiar.

Alec didn't pay either of them much mind until the sound of beating wings filled the near silence. By pure instinct he backed away, arms freeing themselves from the confines of his cloak while his hands were ready at a moment's notice to reach into his storage for a weapon, that was until he caught a glimpse of her face. Not even a second had passed before Alec cursed, still backing away until his back hit the closest tree. From then on he was still, listening to the interactions but not really taking any of it in, except for one very predominant piece of information... This child was Sunday's. But was she also of his own blood?

"I'm sorry, I'm Sunday, Sunday Davenport. You'll have to forgive me, I'm... a little confused. Thank you... both, for keeping my daughter... she can be a bit odd." Sunday explained, but he hadn't looked at her for a long time. His eyes were on Alice only, and she was also staring back at him. The facts were right there in front of him, but still he was having a hard time believing it fully; so much information was missing. He still worried, and it was this worry that made his blood run cold. "You are welcome to my camp... Neither of you are demons so you'll be safe and if my daughter trust you to speak front of you, then you aren't any danger to us." Alec finally looked up at Sunday, having gone oddly pale, but didn't give her any indication that he would accept her invitation. How could he not, though? He needed to know if Alice was truly his child.

"If I may ask your name, to thank you properly." At this, Alec shifted his weight so that he was no longer resting against the tree, but he didn't make any attempt to move closer, and his awkwardness most definitely showed. He was quiet for a few moments as he tried to figure out how to word it without going against his limitations as a fae. "Many know me as Rahmiel nowadays," he finally answered, drawing his cloak back over himself, now more than sure he would not have to jump into combat any second. "But, uh... There's no need for any kind of thanks. I pretty much just stood here and talked," he admitted, combatting the urge to smile awkwardly; instead his eyes moved to Alice once more. "I will accompany you to your camp, however, if it's not too much trouble," he continued, not shifting his gaze even a little bit. "Perhaps I could even assist in your efforts, should my assistance be needed in any way."

Alec didn't know where he was headed with this. In any other circumstance he would have said no, sent Sashi on her merry way and then left them all behind him. But he needed to find out more, and if that meant spending more time around Sunday, then that was just the way of it.

"Many know me as Rahmiel nowadays," He said and Sunday nodded, with a small, weak smile.
"But, uh... There's no need for any kind of thanks. I pretty much just stood here and talked," He said and she frowned a little, hugging her daughter as his eyes drifted to Alice. Whatever Alice was doing to him, made Sunday uncomfortable. Alice had power too much like her father, she could make a person do anything, even if they didn't want to. "I will accompany you to your camp, however, if it's not too much trouble," he continued, still eying Alice. "Perhaps I could even assist in your efforts, should my assistance be needed in any way." He said and she nodded. "We could use all the assistance we can get, Thank you." She said. "And I know it doesn't seem like much, standing and talking but in this world, That is the kindness thing a person can be expected to do." She told him. Alice could do much, but there was always the fear she had to losing her that made her think the worst. What if a darker being, a sicker being had found her? What if he mother found her?

Shaking the thought, Sunday nodded. "it is not far, a few minutes walk from here." She said before Alice shifted, shimming down so Sunday could let her walk. She let her down and she walked over to Rahmiel and grabbed his hand. Sunday swallowed but didn't stop her. Alice was being sociable which was new, and perhaps a good thing. She would go days without talking so this was a bit of a relief. Why this man, though?

Sashi walked beside her and Sunday' thought drifted to her. how did she return? She didn't want to say survived, the life left Sashi's body, she knew because even Alexis had tried to revive her but she was long gone so how was she here now. why couldn't she remember? "You really know me?" She asked and Sunday nodded. "How well?"
Sunday smiled. She thought back to when she first met Sashi and she couldn't believe it hadn't been very long. "Wel enough to miss you." She said and Sashi looked at her. She wanted to ay more but whatever it was that hindered her memories gave her pause. She nodded. "I'm sorry."
Sunday frowned. "For what?
"I don't know...dying, I guess."
"You know you died."
"Yeah, I don't know how, but I woke up in a spirit world, they told me I died."
"They?"
Sashi went quite. and Sunday shook her head. "It doesn't matter, I'm just glad to see you again, I'd hug you but..."
Sashi smiled but it didn't reach her eyes. "Yeah." was all she said.

It didn't take long as promised, to reach the camp and Sunday asked them to wait there, taking Alice's hand, she as glad Alie didn't make a fuss and went along with her. She made her way to her father's tent, and didn't bother with announcing herself nor did she care what she might have been interrupting. "Father," She said. "I found Alice." She said and smiled, Alice smiled up at him and Asmos before looking up at Sunday again. Sunday swallowed. "Father, there is something...someone outside, You need to see, it's improtant...but...just....brace yourself," She warned him as best she could without giving too much away in front of Asmos. She wasn't sure his intentions yet and he needed to know, no weakness. "this way, Please." She asked and stepped aside to pick up Alice the small girl watched Asmos with quiet fascination before waving at him.

"We could use all the assistance we can get. Thank you." Sunday continued. Alec nodded but thereafter shifted uncomfortably, finding it strange to be having such a conversation with her after such a long time, after all their history and the questions that remained unanswered. And on top of that, she had no idea who he truly was. But Alice did. "And I know it doesn't seem like much, standing and talking but in this world, that is the kindest thing a person can be expected to do." At this, he finally turned his gaze as his head and offered only a murmured agreement in response, as if he was ashamed of something. Again he was only reminded of the fact that this was the world he created, intentionally or otherwise, and it had brought everyone so much suffering.

"It is not far, a few minutes walk from here."

Her words broke Alec from his thoughts, which was a relief, and he finally lifted his head with a brief nod, more than prepared to resume travelling once more. But before he could take his first step, Alice was approaching him once more, reaching for his hand. This time there was no urge to take his own hand back, but he was very aware of Sunday watching the interaction between the two of them. Alec's fingers curled around her tiny hand, and he looked down at her with a subtle smile.

Before long they were off, making their way into the camp within a very short amount of time. Alec hadn't spoken at all during that time, nor did he pay too much attention to the conversation between Sashi and Sunday. That was their business, not his. Besides, his attention was instead placed on trying to piece together the past. His priority was not helping the rebellion, nor reconciling with Sunday or any of his family for that matter; his priority was as finding out whether he'd had a child he never knew about.

Much to his dismay upon arrival at the camp, Alice was being escorted away from him. Of course he couldn't put up too much of a fuss, such would be a strange display considering his current position. And so he merely watched her go, avoiding eye contact with anyone and everyone that passed by until the tent's entrance shifted and an all too familiar figure emerged, along with Sunday and Alice.

After his daughter fled the camp in search of her daughter, Simon was left alone with the Demon, much to his dismay. Something about this situation was clearly amusing the creature. The Prince felt his fingers curling into his palms, and he stood tense until the laughter faded, then trying to force his anger to subside while it continued speaking, at long last.

"I will give you a small relief Simon, I came here to give you aid. I suppose you have not heard of me, but I'm sure your 'daughter' knows. And I can promise you, my aid is something that you seem to painfully need." Simon didn't take exactly take well to Asmos' words, mostly because the Demon seemed all to confident for his liking but also because in his own mind, the Rebellion's ability to handle themselves was being underestimated. Simon would happily die before he let his anger show. "I do think you have some things to deal with, so allow me to give you one thing: Do not attack that stronghold. It will be the end of you." Simon raised a single brow, scoffing quietly at the 'advice' that was offered to him.

"Now if you don't mind, my little charge here was quite tiring. So I would gladly be placed in the arrest until we can resume this little meeting, hopefully then it will be a little more... secluded."

As Asmos finished speaking, Simon could do nothing at first but sigh deeply, lifting a gloved hand to his forehead to rub his temples. The Generals that surrounded them were suddenly looking to him, perhaps for a command of some description. Simon didn't look at a single one of them. When he lifted his head, his stare was directed solely at Asmos. Words were not his speciality, but he wanted to at least get his point across. "Listen here, De-... Asmos.. I wholeheartedly believe the men and women of this rebellion are more than capable of taking down a few Remei soldiers to claim one small village," Simon began, fighting to keep the anger out of his voice, though his tone was still firm. He might not have been enraged but the simple fact that he was not happy could not be denied. "Now I will respect your wishes and we will speak in privacy later to discuss why you think we are not capable of such a task, but let us be clear on one thing, okay?" he asked rhetorically, then paused a moment. "You have no place nor right to storm your way into my camp and demand things of me." As he spoke, Simon felt the shadows recoiling, revealing his hardened expression and warm olive complexion.

"Not only are you an unwanted intruder and a potential threat to my people, but one that actually served for many years the tyrant we're fighting against right now. I have no reason to trust you nor the advice you offer, aside from your word alone, and you'll have to forgive me but we don't take much stock in words when it comes to your kind," Simon continued, speaking only the truth. He crossed his arms over his chest, and nodded to the nearest General, who proceeded to take a hold of Asmos' chains. "As I said, we will speak more about this later. For now you will pass the time in one of our tents. Should you exit at any time without my word to do so, my Generals will not hesitate to attack." He lifted one hand and gestured for the General to remove the demon from his presence, but before anyone could shift another inch, Sunday was entering. Simon blinked a couple of times, surprised by how quickly she returned with her daughter in her arms. He was relieved, of course, but far too worked up to show it all that much.

"Father," she began. "I found Alice." Simon tried his best to return their smiles each in turn, before he released a huff. He opened his mouth to speak but Sunday seemed to find something to say in that time. "Father, there is something... someone outside. You need to see, it's important... but... just... brace yourself," she warned, eliciting only a confused murmur from him for the moment. "This way, please." And just like that she was exiting again. Simon stood there for a little while, once again gesturing for the General to escort Asmos away, before joining his daughter and their newfound 'guest' he had yet to meet.

It took him a good few moments to process what he was seeing, and even then he felt nothing but a dull pain in his chest. He'd suffered far too much false hope in his life to see the woman before him as anything but a delusional image of his past. There was a very long, very chilling period of silence, before Simon let his arms fall to his side and his eyes were on Sunday; they held the same sort of look they had when Sashi was first taken from him, like they had no life in them at all. "What is the meaning of this?" he asked, his tone almost accusatory.

ImageSashi stood silent as Sunday walked off with her daughter into a large tent. She rubbed her arms a little. Sunday knew er. Hell, the little girl, Alice, knew her but she knew nothing. It was so unfair. The look in Sunday's eyes when she saw her. There were confusion, relief, and grief all at once and there wasn't a damn thing Sashi could do about it. She said nothing Rahmiel, just sat in silence. Something she didn't get often because of the Loa, but that's to Alice and her strange abilities, her mind was silent. Hell, maybe she'd be able to sleep. Maybe he dreams will be clearer without the extra white noise that cluttered her every moment.

Before long, Sunday and Alice stepped out with a name that gave Sashi pause. She was struck by the sight of him and it was clear it was the same for him. She dreamt of him. All too often, nothing was clear, not even his face but she knew this man standing before her was what she saw in her dreams. She could say what went on in those dreams but she knew him.

"What is the meaning of this."

Clearly, he knew her and he was accusing Sunday of some trick by his tone. Before Sunday had time to speak, Sashi stepped forward. "You know me?" She asked him, not wanting to jump to conclusions but it was a pretty safe bet. "I have no memories, I just know my name. Everything else is a blur. I just know I died." She said and looked at him, not realizing that her feet were carrying her forward. She wanted to reach for him, an image flashed in her mind and she gripped her stomach. She sucked in a breath, grunting against the pain. Someone was holding her, tears were hitting her cheeks, they were hot. She looked up. They were his.
"Ugh, You held me when ugh!..." She grunted, trying to call forth more memories but the pain was nearly unbearable.
"Sashi stop! we'll figure it out, just stop your hurting yourslf!" Sunday called but Sashi shook her head. "I want to remember, I know him!" She looked at the man, pain blurring her vision, she trembled, dropping to her knees, holding her stomach. She felt something hot on her hands and looked down at them. Blood covered her fingers. With a blink, it was gone and her hands were dry. "Sashi, Please!" Sunday cried, coming toward her after setting down the girl.

"Sleep now." called the small girl and before Sashi knew it, the world went dark.

Sunday was in a near panic as she started for Sashi but with a couple of words from Alie, Sashi dropped limply to the floor. "Alice, what did you do?" Sunday cried, fearing the worst. "The bees were stinging her, she was letting them, I had to make them stop." She sid and Sunday looked back at Sashi then back to Alice. "Bees, What bees."
Alice shrugged. "Buzzy bees, they talk to her, in her head, they are really loud, and they hurt her, I don't want them hurt, I like her," Alice said simply and Sunday looked at her father, fearing what he might make of this whole thing. "She dreams of Grandfather now, she always dreams of Grandfather, Like you dream of Daddy. Only she just doesn't it know, his face is all blurry." Alice said and Sunday sucked in a breath. She didn't want anyone to know she still thought of Alec, especially not her father, but one couldn't control their dreams.

Alice walked over to Rahmiel and took his hand again. "You can wake her up, Grandfather, I'll keep the bees quiet." she aid to her Father before smiling up at Rahmiel, singing his hand. Sunday held her head, unsure of what t do next.

Simon almost flinched as Sashi stepped forward, his eyes watching her without moving. "You know me?" she asked, a question to which he did not provide an answer. "I have no memories, I just know my name. Everything else is a blur. I just know I died." At this, Simon frowned, not quite believing her words but taking them in nonetheless. As she moved closer, he fought to keep himself grounded, so that he wouldn't back away. It had been so long, he had not yet made his peace with her death but he was beginning to.

Suddenly she was doubling over and in a great amount of pain. "Ugh, you held me when- ugh!" she persisted, trying to get her words out despite whatever pain she was experiencing. Simon was frozen in place, merely watching her. He didn't attempt to step forward, almost as if making contact with her would cause her to disappear into a cloud of smoke. All the while her words hit him like a ton of bricks. His features twisted in a sneer, as he thought about what kind of evil creature would play such a trick on him, playing with his mind like this.

"Sashi stop! We'll figure it out, just stop, you're hurting yourself!" called his daughter's voice. "I want to remember, I know him!" Sashi responded, before making eye contact with him once more. Simon watched her fall to her knees and still didn't move. Sunday cried something out, by this point Simon wasn't paying any mind to anyone else. It wasn't until she fell unconscious that he turned his head to look at his daughter, while she questioned Alice. His eyes found Sashi again and he released a deep exhale.

"She dreams of Grandfather now, she always dreams of Grandfather, like you dream of Daddy. Only she just doesn't it know, his face is all blurry," Alice explained. Sunday seemed to react in some small way and it only took Simon a second to realise why; she still dreamt of Alec. She must've thought he would think badly of that, but he didn't, not really. He despised the boy with every fibre of his being, but Sunday had loved him once, even had a child with him. It wasn't strange for him to still appear in her dreams. Hell, he even dreamed of Tanya every once in a while. And so, after discarding that small piece of information, lest his daughter feel all the more awkward, Simon instead focused on what Alice was telling them. Only Rahmiel shifted uncomfortably.

"You can wake her up, Grandfather, I'll keep the bees quiet," Alice began again. Simon watched as she took the unfamiliar man's hand and thought it a little strange, naturally, but Sunday said not a word so it was certainly not his place to comment. Simon was still furious, but by this point he was far too tired to protest, and so he merely nodded. "Thank you, Alice," he said, his tone far more gentle than his expression. He appreciated her help, of course, but there was always something unsettling about that child he couldn't quite put his finger on. After that he made brief eye contact with the man whose hand she held so comfortably, and quickly turned his attention back to Sashi, who was still slumped over on the ground.

Part of him didn't want to go near here, perhaps because he didn't want to believe she was real, but he fought every instinct in his body that told him to walk away from them all. Instead he stepped closer, dropping to his knees and working his arms under her to hoist her up. When he was standing again, he turned to Sunday, and also gave her a nod. "I'll... She can stay in my tent until she wakes up," he told her, his voice quieter than normal. "I'm trusting you to be able to handle things here while I try to wake her..." Simon would have placed a hand on her shoulder, had he a hand to spare, so after a small pause he just walked in the direction of his tent.

Once inside, he gave an exasperated huff, and shook his head at the situation he'd been forced into. At the furthest corner of the room there was a small pile of pelts and bedding; he didn't get the opportunity to sleep often so it was seldom used, but it would be comfortable enough for an unconscious woman, he reckoned. He set her down as gently as he could, despite the circumstances, and remained on his knees beside her even as she slumped once again. At this point he really didn't have any choice but to believe that she was real. After everything he'd learned since he first saw her, things were starting to piece together. He couldn't enjoy the moment, however, and instead of feeling happy he only felt sorry. She'd been alive this entire time... on her own. And he hadn't known a thing.

Before Simon could even stop himself, he was reaching for her, brushing some hair off her face while his eyes tracing her features. I should wake her, he thought with a nod. He didn't quite know what he would say when he did, but the fact remained. "Sashi?" he called quietly, his hand moving to her shoulder. After receiving no response, he sighed, and began to shake her by the shoulder. "Sashi," he called again, a little rougher this time. After a second, he simply sat back, looking at her like she was a puzzle he didn't quite know how to solve. Short of slapping her around the face, how was he supposed to wake her? Before long his gaze dropped to his hands and another sigh filled the silence.

"I'm sorry..."

ImageSashi watched the man with the blurry face again. It wasn't the first time she'd dreamt of him. She'd dreamt of him every night since she 'woke up'.
They were always the same three dreams. One where they were walking together, the other, watching him as he fiddled with something. Breakfast? She could smell cooking food but she couldn't see it, and the one that happened the most was the one she watched now. He was holding her, looking over her, cradling her against him. The entire place was red but he shone against it. Like he had a light coming from his body. She was saying something to him, but then the dream stopped, she died.

How? Why? When?

She knew nothing but these vague images. It was only recently that she got this much.

Linto appeared beside her, an ethereal hand on her shoulder. She couldn't see him, he, like all the others, weren't physical beings, their presence, though, was palpable. "Why wouldn't you let me remember?" She asked him, not looking at him. "It's not me," He told her and Sashi turned to him, a formless black mass, a dark glare in her eyes. "You know what I mean."
"The Loa don't want to give you up, so rare a vessel you are. You've been able to hold us all."
"You possessed me."
"You allowed it,"
"I didn't want to die!" She shouted at him and then turned. "It was a trick, you tricked me." She said and Linto sighed. "Nibo...Yes, such is his way."
"He used me."
"Uses you still."
"Stop him."
"He's stronger than the rest of us, you know this."
"He keeps me from remembering. He makes it hurt."
"Yes, but he's quiet now, thanks to the little one."
Sashi looked at him again. Right, Alice. She shut him up.
"I would stick by her if I were you."
"You are me..."
Linto laughed. "Wait...How are you speaking to me now?"
"I wasn't the one holding you back, I've been guiding you, I lead you to the girl and now the rest is up to you."
"You know what's going to happen, don't you?"
"Of course I do, but that's not for me to tell you. I can only give you hints."
Sashi shook her head. "Nothing is ever simple with the Loa, is it?"
"Not even a little."
"Can you tell me one thing?"
Linto considered this. "Yes."
"What's his name?"
"You won't remember when you wake up."
"Anything is better than nothing...He loves me...I could see it in his eyes."
Linto considered this too. "His name is..."

"Simon...."
Sashi's eyes opened, and she gasped for air. She didn't know why but she knew she had been inspirited again but everything was quiet. She started to sit up but she noticed she was not alone. IT was him again.
"Oh..." She bit her lip. If she could only remember her dreams, this was him but she had no context, no clues as to who exactly he was. He was looking over her, much like the dream only she wasn't in her arms. She wanted to be. Was that weird? Yes, yes, it was weird, she knew that. This all was seven different kinds of weird.

"Sorry." She said softly. "I'm...This is..all very strange." She said and sat up slowly. Taking a quick look around. They were in a large tent, and she was laying on a soft pallet. Her head ached but her mind was her own for the time being. Her head only ached when she was inspirited. She looked at him. "This is probably going to add to my strangeness but...Did I say something just now, I mean before I woke up?" She asked, trying not to make it sound as awkward as it felt to ask. They were in a world of demons and faeries and creepy cute kids with mental powers. He had to have some modicum of experience with strange. "I'm possessed so I do things sometimes but, it's not really me...I'm me now, though...That was weird, as that weird, yeah, no, wow, that was a really weird thing to say, I'm sorry, you don’t have to answer any of those things and I'm gonna stop talking now." She nodded before snapping her mouth shut.

"Simon..."

Suddenly there was a loud gasp, and as Simon looked up he saw that she was in fact waking up. He leaned forward a little, one arm outstretched but merely hovering over her, hesitating to make contact. Before long she was starting to sit up, so he sat back again, his startled expression not shifting for a good while. "Oh..." she spoke, causing Simon to tilt his head to one side, his hands now in his lap. There was a short moment of silence where Simon sifted through his thoughts, trying to find something to say.

"Sorry..." she began again, catching his attention. "I'm... This is... all very strange." Without thinking he released an amused huff, and nodded as if nothing could be truer than that. "This is probably going to add to my strangeness but... Did I say something just now, I mean before I woke up?" she asked him, to which he initially responded with a frown. He shrugged his shoulders a little, but before he could find the words to say, she was speaking again. His eyes were trained on the ground. "I'm possessed so I do things sometimes but, it's not really me... I'm me now, though... That was weird, was that weird, yeah, no, wow, that was a really weird thing to say, I'm sorry, you don't have to answer any of those things and I'm gonna stop talking now." And just like that she fell quiet again.

Before he could even stop himself, a smile pulled at the corners of his lips. "You haven't changed a bit," he joked with a quiet laugh, before looking up at her once more. His eyes were moist, as if tears might fall at any moment, despite the humour in his tone. More than anything else, even if she didn't remember him, he was just glad to have her back. He was also glad that after everything that had happened, she was still herself in some small ways.

"But no, not really," he continued after a moment. "Well, I mean, you said my name... But that's about it, really." With a casual shrug, he shifted a bit so that he was sitting properly and not on his knees, still peering at her. There was so much he wanted to ask, so many questioned he needed answers to, but it had already been made apparent that she remembered nothing of their past together. He sighed quietly. "Look... I know this is a really confusing situation, and admittedly it's not much clearer on my end... But I'll say this. If you have any questions at all, if there's anything you feel you need to know, feel free to ask and I'll answer them honestly," he offered. "But in return, I would appreciate it if you could tell me more about what's going on inside that head of yours... Maybe then I can figure out a way to help you."

Image"You haven't changed a bit," He said, there was a smile on his lips but tears in his eyes. He knew her, apparently well enough that she hadn't changed. She was glad to know that but she wished she knew him. She wanted so to reach up and touch his face but she stayed her hand. Oddly enough, she recognized his scent, he had a fresh scent, pine trees, and leather. This was all familiar but she didn't even know the man's name. "But no, not really," He said after a moment, "Well, I mean, you said my name... But that's about it, really." He said with a shrug before seating comfortably. Sashi merely frowned. She didn't know his name....that just meant she was in spirited but by who?

It took her but a moment. Linto. He was kind, the only kind one, but he was cryptic. "Look... I know this is a really confusing situation, and admittedly it's not much clearer on my end... But I'll say this. If you have any questions at all, if there's anything you feel you need to know, feel free to ask and I'll answer them honestly," He said and she watched his face. "But in return, I would appreciate it if you could tell me more about what's going on inside that head of yours... Maybe then I can figure out a way to help you." He said and Sashi smiled softly. "Okay." She said softly before taking a breath. Every time she tried to remember on her own, the pain came. "I have a lot of questions...but I guess, I'll go first, um." She stopped and thought. "They are called the Ghede- Loa, the bees the baby was talking about." She smiled a little. "They are different kinds of Loa but mine, The Ghede, They are like spirits that exist outside of the realm of the living, so when the world changed, they weren't affected because they belong to the land of the dead." She said and swallowed "I've been possessed by them...all of them...according to them, as I was dying, or rather when I died and I was passing through their world, one of them, called Ghede Nibo asked me if I wanted to die, apparently I told him, no, and a deal was made, I don't remember it, but obviously, I'm still honoring it, because they take over my body, they cal it 'in-spirited- but it's a full blown possession, like demons only less head turn-y." She said and then frowned. How did she know that? She shook her head and moved on. "It was a while before I had control of my body again, but I don't have my memories, not all of them anyway, I have a few, they're in my dreams but I can't..." She shook her leg, pursing her lips, trying to find the right words. "It's like having something no the tip of your tongue, like a word, or something, it's right there, you know it is but it just doesn't happen...I can't remember my dreams, and when I'm awake, if I try to remember, my stomach...it's like I'm being stabbed over and over again, and I can't remember....God, I feel like I say that a lot." She said rolling her eyes. She sighed. "Little stuff comes to me, though, one of the Ghede, Linto, he keeps them in a sort of check, I guess, or at least he looks out for me, He tries to feed me memories in my dreams, but when I wake up, they're gone." she said shaking her head before looking up at him
"I guess, he had me speak your name, He's nice but frustratingly cryptic" she said and shrugged before going quiet again, looking at her feet. she wanted to ask him so much, who was he? what is he to her? Who is she to him? How did she die? So much but all she had the courage to ask was...

"What is your name?'

Simon watched her smile, and matched it with one of his own. It had been a fair while since he'd seen that smile, it had almost caught him off guard how much it warmed him. However, he decided to don a more serious expression as thereafter came an onslaught of information, none of which made too much sense to him. Despite this he accepted the pieces of information as they came, each more confusing than the last, and he tried his best to store it all. Truthfully he did not know how to help her; he was fae but had been raised in the mortal realm, and despite being trained from a young age, there was very little Simon understood about the supernatural. But he knew someone who would be able to help Sashi. Unfortunately that person was locked away and far out of anyone's reach.

"What is your name?" she asked after a moment's silence. He lifted his arm and used a gloved hand to brush his long hair back off his face, huffing as he did so. Of all the questions she could have asked, that was the first? Of course he couldn't say that to her. "My name is Simon... Simon Davenport," he answered, a little sooner than he expected. Shortly after he outstretched his other arm and placed that hand on her arm, as if trying to comfort her. "I'm sorry that happened to you... I had no idea," he explained. "We were... preparing you for your funeral. Sunday had her back turned for a minute and suddenly you were gone. Nobody knew where you'd gone, and I searched for you for so long... It was like you vanished into thin air." Simon looked down at the ground, as if merely recalling the memory was bringing back all the emotions he felt that day. The panic, the pain, but mostly the anger. He let his hand drop, and it very quickly returned to his lap. He paused a moment before even trying to continue.

"I suppose you might want an explanation of how you know me," he began again, glancing up at her. "We only knew each other for a short time. A few days, at most... You worked at the high school in our home town, as a counsellor of some sort. Sunday had just come into my life and I was trying to give her some semblance of a normal childhood, so enrolling her in a school seemed like a good idea. We met when I brought her in for the interview, and to be shown around," he began to explain, taking a breath. "Long story short, we both realised that she wouldn't do well in a school environment, so you offered to teach her at home. We ended up spending more time around each other... One thing led to another and I ended up taking you out on... I guess you could call it a date, but we wouldn't have called it such... That was until later that night, when we..." he stopped himself suddenly, clearing his throat awkwardly. "Y'know." At long last he finally looked up at her, trying to meet her gaze.

"Like I said, it was only a short time, but we fell for each other regardless," Simon continued after a moment, trying to move away from the awkwardness as quickly as possible. "But you see... There's one woman... Sunday's mother, in fact... Our families had a long history with one another. She's since made it her personal mission to make us all miserable. And as it would seem, I'm her favourite target, since she only bloody takes away what I love," he growled, before sighing and shaking his head. When he visibly calmed himself, he proceeded to tell the story. "She managed to get to you, somehow... She baited me to the Demon Realm, and murdered you right in front of me... Stabbed you multiple times in the stomach, with an iron blade so I couldn't heal you." After all that he took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry... I let you down that day. I wasn't fast enough to save you."
