[ NAME ]__Simon Davenport.

[ AGE ]__Approximately 4-5 decades.

[ GENDER ]__Male, in all regards.

[ SEXUALITY ]__Bisexual, bi-romantic.

[ RACE ]__A hybrid of Dryad and Wraith.

[ TITLE ]__Former Crowned Prince of the Fae Realm / Rebellion Leader.

[ ALLIANCE ]__He fights for the Fae, and is currently leader of the rebellion against Victoria's tyranny. Once intended to rule the Fae Realm, and a loyal family man, Simon's alliance is solid and unshakable.

[ REPUTATION ]__Simon was the Crowned Prince, and so naturally he was known throughout the Fae Realm before the war, most notably for the fact that he is the only fae born with the ability to speak a lie. He made his mark on the Demon Realm when he murdered its Crowned Prince of that time, Andres Montez, at the young age of eighteen. Later he was acknowledged for single-handedly slaughtering an entire clan of vampires, consisting of near a hundred members; women and fledglings as well.

[ ALIAS ]__Throughout the better part of his childhood, his friends and family knew him as Slade. Other aliases worth noting include Demon Slayer / Prince Slayer and, mostly in his own Realm, The Fae Who Can Lie.

[ STATUS ]__Widowed / Single, and wishing to remain so.

[ APPEARANCE ]__Simon is a handsome young man, standing at an approximate height of 6'0. His body is of a slender build, and while he is still toned and muscular in his own right, the fact that he favors speed over strength means he's never cared much to bulk himself up. He inherited his mother's warm skin tone, as well as her thick brown hair and eyes of the same color. Prior to his disappearance he had short hair, but has since left it to grow, though he keeps his facial hair at reasonable length - no longer than stubble.

As of late has taken to wearing less modern forms of clothing; including loose-fitting cloth shirts and bottoms, accompanied by a leather coat and boots. He also frequently wears gloves. This is a large contrast to the way he used to dress, mainly opting for hoodies, skinny jeans, sneakers. His demeanor is also quite different nowadays; he seems quieter, and more intense. He frowns way more than he smiles, and often times he has thick bags under his eyes, indicating lack of sleep, or red puffy eyes after a night of crying. There are days he seems unnaturally pale, walking around like a zombie and avoiding people as if they are the plague. Simply put, he looks miserable.

[ EQUIPMENT ]__Most of his personal belongings are kept at the camp, as opposed to on his person. However, wherever he goes, his knives go too. They remain at his hip at all times, until such a time that he needs to use them. He also has a flask of water, but has little need for other things; hunting and foraging as he goes.

[ FORMS ]__Simon had been trained by both of his parents, and he was a good student - as such, he has mastered both his Dryad and Wraith forms. A year back, he also gained a second Dryad form, but after shifting the one time, he has been unable to do so again. He's also been known to combine the two, in something he calls his Hybrid form. His first Dryad form is similar to his human glamour in appearance, with regards to facial features. It stands at an astonishing height of 8ft; in this form, his skin is a deep green, as are his eyes, and his hair reaches down to his lower back. In his Wraith form, he is the same in height and build, but his entire body is covered in writhing shadows. The Hybrid form is quite strange, and mixes the traits of both a Wraith and a Dryad. He is exceptionally taller, his bright green eyes are sharp and his ears are pointed, but his skin is black as night - he instead has a green hue to his body.

ImageSunday rarely slept through the night, always fearing that she'd awake to find Alice gone, much like her father but to her relief she was always there, curled up in a small ball in front of her, tucked beneath her clutching her favorite doll. The small thing had seen better days but Sunday couldn’t bring herself to take it from her, it wasn't like she could go and buy her a new doll. The world was torn in two, and merged into some sick parody of what it used to be.

The sky seemed to be always in an overcast, sometimes hued with an orange glow. Those were fires. There always seemed to be a fire, a large one that lit the sky ominously. At least it was a constant. That was something Sunday could only hope for nowadays. People came and went, lived and died. Her father's men were always coming back with less than when they left. If they came back at all.
Guilt clutched her heart at the thought. This was all of her fault. Maybe not directly as her father always expressly stated but she couldn't help it. She should have been able to stop him, she should have at the very least known what he was up to. Or something. She shared a bed with the monster that torn the world apart, caused the death of so many, enslaving her race, murdering others, and worse, giving the throne to her mother.... even if he did bring one life in the world even if he didn't know it, it wouldn't make up for the lives lost.
At the thought, Sunday brushed a stray hair from her sleeping daughter's face. She looked so much like her father, full pink lips, pale skin that had a warmness that Sunday herself didn't bare. She had her father's brown hair, and but Sunday's dark eyes. Sunday sighed. Sleep was a fleeting friend on a good day, and she wasn't going to be befriending it this night. So she sat up, leaned over and kissed her daughter before ducking out of their shared tent out to a wildly busy camp. She brushed her black hair straight, though it was still a rather stringy mess, she then tugged her leather jacket over her shoulders to shield her alabaster skin from the elements. She didn't dress like she used to. Now all she wore was practical, not frilly things, no lace, not dresses, she would combat boots, cargo pants, and simple tops and a leather jacket. The only thing that resembled her old style was her almost signature bow, and even then she didn't wear it all the time.

She moved through the camp, her goal was to find her fathers' as surely he was awake, as there had been a mission earlier that day, they found a demon stronghold that was far enough from the base of the castle that could push their perimeter a little bigger. It wasn't in compared to the whole world under the rule of the demons but it was a win nonetheless.

"Evening, Princess." called a soldier who had been walking with a group of others. She gave a soft smile and a simple nod as she continued on her way.

"Isn't she a demon?" She heard one whispered. "Hush, yes, but she is Simon's daughter and half fae, she's on our side." said the one that spoke to her. "Tsk, I don't trust no demon, half or not, I hear she's the daughter of the Demon Bitch."
"That's sounds like an awful lot like treason, Childress."
"It's not, I'm just saying, won't see me getting friendly with the halfling."

Sunday sighed, blocking out the rest of that conversation. If they only knew how connected she was to the opposition, if they did, neither she or her daughter would be safe. Most of the rebellion felt that way about her. Luckily, a lot of them were Fae so they couldn't lie, so she knew who trusted her and who did not. Unfortunately, that meant she knew how little in number the former was.
She reached her father's tent and smiled when she saw him, addressing a group of generals on their latest attack plan. She was one of them, but she was still his daughter and he insisted she rest, and spend time with her daughter. Neither of those things she was opposed to but only one she was capable of.

"Father, Generals." She said and the other greeted her, all with smiles or nods. Thankfully they trusted her, they've seen her in battle. Not many expected the small girl to be so vicious in her fighting, especially when it came ot her own kind but as the solider said, she renounced the demon half of her, and if her grandmother was still around, she would have asked her to bind it so that whatever demon power she had, would be gone and she'd only be able to access her fae half.

"I did not know you were meeting this night, I would have liked to be present for that." She said, though she could hear the exhaustion in her voice, felt it in her body, and surely it bruised the skin beneath her eyes. The other Generals looked to Simon, not wanting to over step though a few of them gave her a few apologetic smiles.

A heavy sigh broke the silence in the room.

The Generals of the Rebellion had gathered in their leader's tent that evening, upon his request, so that they might collectively discuss an attack strategy in preparation of their taking the Demon stronghold; a military camp of some sort sitting beside a civilian village, as the scouts reported it. The information they'd been given was rather vague, to say the least, but they'd estimated the encampment - with all its resources and defenses - would be worth the risk of battling their way through a decent force of Remei and Demon soldiers to get it. The village itself could also be of great use to them. The Fae Rebellion was nomadic; they seldom stayed in one place more than a few nights in a row. It always seemed safer that way, but with their numbers growing with each day, it was becoming more of a hassle than anything. The infirm were finding it particularly troubling, he'd noticed. Should they take the encampment, they would be able to stay in one place, call it their home until they could take the capital city once and for all.

Simon could feel the weight of their stares, took note of their impatience without bothering to look up, and moved a gloved hand over the map spread across the table before him. A single finger landed where the encampment was estimated to be. "The scouts say that this is supposed to be a Remei encampment, while the Demons typically patrol the civilian village," he began. "We'll send the Demons into the military camp; they may be smaller in number but they should have no trouble disposing of Remei forces. It would be too dangerous for the Fae to fight up close, we'd suffer too many losses, but we'll at least send some archers here." He looked up then, focusing on no particular individual, while his finger shifted a short distance to the left. "We'll instead send Fae soldiers to the village. They're greater in number and many of them can heal. A small team should stay hidden in the woods until the village is secured, and tend to the wounded thereafter." When he finished speaking, he pulled his hand back and returned it to his side, watching as the Generals exchanged glances.

The entrance to the tent parted suddenly, and Sunday stepped inside, smiling as she saw him though he did not readily return the favor. Instead, his lips pursed and his back straightened. "Father, Generals," she greeted them. Much like the other Generals, Simon offered a nod in return. "I did not know you were meeting this night, I would have liked to be present for that," she continued. Simon's eyes had not moved from her since the moment she entered, his stare strong and unrelenting. "And I would have liked you to continue resting, but it seems we don't all get what we want," he retorted, before waving her forward to stand with the other Generals. "Our forces, however small, will be divided into several teams," he explained again for Sunday's benefit. "However many Demons we possess will be sent to dispose of the Remei soldiers in the encampment, while archers will stay behind to pick them off from a distance. Another team will be sent to the village; combatants will claim it, healers will tend to the wounded afterwards." He paused a moment to let the information settle, then continued. "Your Fae blood means you're weakened by iron, so you'll instead lead the team that clears the village of Demon soldiers." Simon's tone indicated, as per usual, that there was no room to object. He was unwilling to risk sending his only remaining child into such an encampment. Strong though she may be, she was also the only person he had left in the new world.

"If anyone has additional comments, please speak up now. Otherwise, you're all dismissed to make preparations and rest," Simon stated calmly, shifting his attention from Sunday to the Generals that stood either side of him. "We leave at first light."

The plan was in itself as waterproof as any. If the enemy did not know of the plan then the rebellions chance for victory would almost be guaranteed. But as it is the strange nature of war, Nothing is ever guaranteed

As soon as the words of
First Light
left Simon's mouth a loud yelling erupted from the edge of camp. Certainly the camp was large and it should in no way be possible for someone to be heard from the outer edge. But the loud human screech slowly became louder, It was quickly accompanied by more yelling, These ones less panicked and more determined.
Don't let him reach the generals
He is targeting Simon!
Get him! Kill him!
The situation was quite clear, Something was approaching...

And that something was Asmos, The Beast of Battle. He had decided upon meeting the famed leader of the fae rebellion. And so, That was exaclty what he was gonna do. But certainly, His people truly do love their leader, The thirty or so soldiers screaming and chasing him witness of that. The one guard he had grabbed upon entering the camp had seemingly given up on screaming and instead is attempting to carve out Asmos eyes, Despite the helmet. But enough of the foolishness. He had reached the place of command. The several Fancy dressed Fae' s standing outside convinced him.

Asmos came to a grinding halt, His boots digging down deep into the mud. the poor guard he had picked up earlier was freed from his grip but unfortunely was then immidiently slung inside the tent, A large crash indicated he had also hit something inside. But that was not Asmos current focus, The guards were literally diving towards him.

Asmos could not afford to start slaying just yet, So he steadied himself simply grabbing the first spear being thrusted at him, Pulling the wielder towards him to then deliver a blow directly to his stomach. But his comrades were prepared for the next strike. This battle would lead nowhere. So Asmos took one step backwards before lifting his head upwards, Releasing an immensely loud screech: SIMON DAVENPORT, I WISH FOR AN AUDIENCE The screech was loud enough to give Asmos a brief respite from the Onslaught of attacks, And hopefully make someone who could prolong that respite appear.

"And I would have liked you to continue resting, but it seems we don't all get what we want," Her Father's response. Sunday didn't dispute it, honestly, she was much too tired to. She couldn't say he was wrong for wanting her to rest but it just wasn't possible, far too much was on her mind. He waved her over and she took her place at his side. "Our forces, however small, will be divided into several teams," He explained. "However many Demons we possess will be sent to dispose of the Remei soldiers in the encampment, while archers will stay behind to pick them off from a distance. Another team will be sent to the village; combatants will claim it, healers will tend to the wounded afterwards." He said and she nodded, imagining the battle to come. She was imagined the weapons she would need, or would she just use her magic, she wasn't sure. Her magic was stronger than any weapon she had, her father was still training her in that but she much in the way of magical arts. She had her Grandmother to thank for that. Before her mind went to that dark place, her father spoke again. "Your Fae blood means you're weakened by iron, so you'll instead lead the team that clears the village of Demon soldiers." He said and Sunday looked him with wide eyes. He was sidelining her...Again. Granted she knew why, but this was getting old, telling her to sleep, eat, keeping her from most of the fights, If it weren't for small ambushes, she wouldn't have seen any battles at all. She did not want to be a princess anymore, She wanted to be a solider, didn't he know this was her fault, that her folly allowed him do blindside the entire world, did he not realized that she was his decoy, a way to toss suspicion away from him because he was with his 'girlfriend' or 'cousin' as it actually was. This was her fault, and she needed to make this right. Sunday felt the heat grow in her eyes, and the red tint that colored her annoyance, cloaked the room. She closed her eyes, so they her now red eyes would go back to their cool brown. She would talk to him about this later. It wasn't like she could argue this in front of the other Generals, Her father was leading this fight, he couldn't have his authority undermined by his whiny daughter.

"If anyone has additional comments, please speak up now. Otherwise, you're all dismissed to make preparations and rest," He said, and though she felt that last bit was directed at her. "We leave at first light." He said and no sooner than he spoke, did a commotion start up outside. Sunday stiffened, her first thought when to Alice and she started for the exit her goal was the tent, but she saw that it had nothing to do with Alice and honestly, a part of her knew that, but it didn't stop her maternal instincts from kicking in. Hers were always strong, which was odd considering her mother had seemingly none. Perhaps it was the Fae in her because her Grandmother literally did anything for her children, and so did her Aunt, even when it was foolish. It was likely why her aunt was dead. Yes, it must be the Fae in her. Before she could make it though, a solider came flying in, crashing into the tables that held the maps and other things, collapsing the wood to the ground.

. Sunday narrowed her eyes, and rose her chin, and ducked out of the tent, not waiting to hear her father's protest.
"SIMON DAVENPORT, I WISH FOR AN AUDIENCE."

"Rampaging through the camp was a poor way to get his attention." Sunday said curtly, her eyes glowing red. Though, she thought she knew of this creature, but she didn't have time to dwell on it. He was demon, that she could sense. She rolled her shoulder, and black wings sprang from her back, tearing the leather and the shirt beneath, but not enough that she had to worry about her modesty. Her obsidian wings, rose exalted, blocking the tent from view.

"If you wish to speak to my father, state your name and what you wish to discuss, Demon." She said, and she wasn't about to move until he did so, even if her father wanted her to do so. He didn't get to be the only overprotective one, she might have been all he had, but besides Alice, he was all she had.

A Demon! Asmos immediately released the guard in wich he had formed a chokehold on. Asmos had been taken by complete surprise. "If you wish to speak to my father, state your name and what you wish to discuss, Demon." Asmos stood dumbfounded staring down the young woman who had left the tent. This was ridiculous... This would mean that the leader of the Fae rebellion has a demonic daughter. That was... Ludicrous... yet amazing. Asmos regained himself taking one quick step towards Sunday. He stretched his hand forward reaching for her, there was no intention behind the gesture to actually touch her yet all the guards shuddered the moment he moved. There was something about her, Was it just her demonic heritage.. Or had he seen her before?

Asmos leaned back, Standing in a standard soldier pose stretching himself to full length while staring down the young lady. She was clearly not the warrior type, Her fine clothes had been completely destroyed by her wings. But there was a specific determination behind her, And that could be dangerous...

Asmos continued to stand completely silent for a few second then a rasped voice broke its way trough the helmet, It was nothing like the earlier screech, Surprisingly gentle when forming the words Intriguing... A Demon, What are you doing so far from home? But I do suppose that very question applies to me... I wish to meet the leader of the Rebellion! The one called Simon Davenport He would not give away his name, Asmos was no especially smart person. But he was not stupid. They could kill him, But they would want to avoid taking that risk if they can.. Asmos released a small barely hearable laugh

Tell me, Young one. Who are you? Asmos suddenly asked, He was speaking in the ancient demon tongue. An extremely formal way of speaking almost only used in the royal court. Any demon would know what he was saying, It was in their blood. Certainly it was quite straining for Asmos to speak this way, But the identity of this women had sparked his curiosity.
He wanted to know.

Sunday merely her shoulder back some, as he reached for her, unsure of what his attentions were but she held her ground. He stopped and then stood at attention before her. Sunday was by no means tall, nor was she particularly short but this demon towered over her, in a way that made those around her, that knew her, worry. Still she stood her ground.

"Intriguing... A Demon, What are you doing so far from home? But I do suppose that very question applies to me... I wish to meet the leader of the Rebellion! The one called Simon Davenport" He said and visibly flinched at begin called Demon. It was what she was even if only half, so she tried not to take offense.
She opened her mouth to speak, with the intention of demanding his name but then he spoke again, in a tongue she hoped to never hear again.

"Tell me, Young one. Who are you?" He said, and she looked away ashamed. Rarely did anyone speak in Demon anymore, even before this new world, They would speak the mortal languages, some of the sounds weren't even capable of being spoken by mortals. The way he spoke it was formal, like he knew she was Demon Princess but wanted her to say. It was even gentle in a way. It made her somewhat nostalgic. She swallowed. Sunday was always a studious girl, she had very little to do when her mother wasn't beating her or sending her off to spy. She took a breath. She knew the language well.

"I asked you first, however, I am Sunday Davenport, yea, I am demon, but i am merely half, this is my home and he is my father....You're turn, tell me who you are." She said, narrowing her eyes, though her tone was admittedly softer then she had originally intended. She really didn't want to be seen or heard speaking Demon but there was nothing she could do for it now. It arrested this creature enough to see her, and perhaps he could be an ally, the more demon allies they had, the better, even if it was an uneasy truce.

I asked you first, however, I am Sunday Davenport, yea, I am demon, but i am merely half, this is my home and he is my father....You're turn, tell me who you are

Asmos was... Shocked. He recognized the name immediately and with that, He also recognized who was standing before Him. He was visibly shuddering. Asmos could feel it himself, He could barely stand, barely keep himself from falling to his knees in an act of prostration. His stance and gaze faltered, he looked as if ready to fall into a pitiful pile. The young woman before him was Sunday Montez. Daughter of Victoria, the queen of demons. And the one person to completely hold Asmos loyalty. He had displayed terrible insolence before the daughter of his empress, This was maddening.

But suddenly a thought struck Asmos, She was here. Working with the Fae rebellion, Taking the name of Davenport. Yes, Sunday had betrayed their queen, just like him. She was no longer his liege. He would not submit to her, and she held no power over him... Princess... You are so far from home, Does your beloved mother know that you are here? No certainly she does not, Then this place would have already been set ablaze. Especially now that you have taken the name.. Davenport... Asmos had regained his courage, And with it his posture

The situation had changed, this had become important perhaps even more important than the Fae leader. Well then, my dear princess, Consider this a favor between us Demons. My name is Asmos, My title is The Beast of Battle. And I wish to speak with you and your... Father..

Sunday took a step back as the beast crumbled in to a sloppy parody of a bow. He didn't know who she was before, but now, now he did. Why was he bowing to her or rather seeming to want to? Who was he?

Suddenly, he righted himself, seeming to have had an epiphany of sorts, and "Princess... You are so far from home, Does your beloved mother know that you are here? No certainly she does not, Then this place would have already been set ablaze. Especially now that you have taken the name.. Davenport.."

Sunday hissed, her eyes glowing, her wings shifting. They were aching for flight and she wanted so to knock this demon on his ass for even mentioning her mother in such a manner.

Well then, my dear princess, Consider this a favor between us Demons. My name is Asmos, My title is The Beast of Battle. And I wish to speak with you and your... Father.." He said and it was Sunday's turn for shock.

"Beloved is hardly the word I'd use for her...." She said in Common Tongue. "I know you... and I need no favors....That demonic cunt knows where I am, and is probably counting the days until I hold her still beating heart in my hand...." She turned her head, tossing a glance over her shoulder and wing. "Generals, " A few had already come to watch and stood at her side. "Yes, Ma'am?" said one, who eyed Asmos in the same manner as she, with malice and intent to kill. "This...creature, is the Demon Queen's most loyal dog, Asmos, I've seen his aftermath, get him in chains, magic laced." She said and her eyes going back to Asmos as the General gave a nod and took off. "I am not your Princess, do not address me as such, if you've something to say to me and my father, you shall do it in chains, bound by demon magic, if you mean us no harm, then you should be find with this arrangement. You will not see my father otherwise."
She said, eyes red eyes narrowed, her chin high, oddly enough, she looked much like her mother then, not that she would ever admit it.

Yes, The princess had not responded in any kind matter from Asmos words, just as he expected. He had always remembered the many rumors among the demons, How much their queen was hated by her own daughter. And she displayed that very diligently. Honestly she was for a moment what you could call
terrifying.
Asmos could see out of the corner of his eyes how the guards turned unsteady. For a moment it almost seemed like they would turn their weapons on her instead. Ahhh, how far the hatred for us had seeped. Before it was a simple matter of war between two kinds of people. Why yes, we hated each other. But not with this kind of hate, the hate burning in their eyes was.. Personal.

"Beloved is hardly the word I'd use for her.... I know you... and I need no favors....That demonic cunt knows where I am, and is probably counting the days until I hold her still beating heart in my hand...."

Hmh, she truly did hate her, Asmos felt no disbelief or disdain from her words. He held her name high, he required no one else to do it for him. At least not in this situation... She then turned to one of her many generals, and ohh, the hate was burning inside him. He would tear Asmos apart if he only could..

"This...creature, is the Demon Queen's most loyal dog, Asmos, I've seen his aftermath, get him in chains, magic laced."
"I am not your Princess, do not address me as such, if you've something to say to me and my father, you shall do it in chains, bound by demon magic, if you mean us no harm, then you should be find with this arrangement. You will not see my father otherwise."

This was a much more serious turn of events, Asmos hated the thought of being chained. To become powerless and submissive. Asmos would do anything to avoid this situation. If your Fae pets touch me with your chains then he will be slaughtered Asmos kept speaking in the ancient tongue. This was a negotiation, and it would most definitely turn bad if the common soldiers would hear his words. Thusly Asmos accent had turned dark, This was the way to show dominance in the royal court. I care not if you have discarded your name and heritage. We will not stop considering you the princess or the rightful heir, That is our, and your way. As for the chains, If I had meant for any harm to befall your father then I would not arrive in this matter. This is nothing other than degrading, With this... Asmos stretched both his arms to his side, gesturing towards the guards surrounding him ...Would damnable chains truly be necessary against one lonely Demon?

" If your Fae pets touch me with your chains then he will be slaughtered Asmos said, still speaking Demon. Sunday was losing her calm, and quickly, she could see he was trying to keep things between them, but that made her more nervous. What was his angle? He speaks as if he is still loyal to her mother, yet he wants to speak to her and her father. What was he playing at? " I care not if you have discarded your name and heritage. We will not stop considering you the princess or the rightful heir, That is our, and your way. As for the chains, If I had meant for any harm to befall your father then I would not arrive in this matter. This is nothing other than degrading, With this... He gestured to the men already prepared with the chains. ...Would damnable chains truly be necessary against one lonely Demon?"

"Yes, It would. She said, speaking Common, she wouldn't give him the benefit of secrets. "You touch my men, any chance you had of speaking to my father will vanish, I know your reputation, Asmos,I know where your loyalties lie, at any moment, you could attack my father under the guise of peace, without those chains...so yes, they would be entirely necessary against one lonely Demon...." She said, her eyes never leaving him. "But you are right about one thing, the Demon Throne, is mine, I am the rightful heir, and I shall have it, but I have not discarded my heritage,, I am Demon, but I am also Fae....those loyal to that wench, will not be part of my reign....You will not be apart of my reign, so no I am not your Princess, Yours specifically...in fact, even to the demons that have join us, I'm not their Princess either....I'm their Queen." She said and with a nod of her head, demons approached from the camp and stood next to the Fae, almost in union, and the Fae handed the chains to them, the Fae wearing special gloves to avoid the burn of the iron and the demons approached Asmos. "I would suggest not fighting it...The more you struggle the worse it'll be for you..."

You touch my men, any chance you had of speaking to my father will vanish, I know your reputation, Asmos,I know where your loyalties lie, at any moment, you could attack my father under the guise of peace, without those chains...so yes, they would be entirely necessary against one lonely Demon...

Her words did Honor Asmos to a certain degree. The fact that she did not dare to allow him anywhere near their leader made him feel quite proud.

"But you are right about one thing, the Demon Throne, is mine, I am the rightful heir, and I shall have it, but I have not discarded my heritage,, I am Demon, but I am also Fae....those loyal to that wench, will not be part of my reign....You will not be apart of my reign, so no I am not your Princess, Yours specifically...in fact, even to the demons that have join us, I'm not their Princess either....I'm their Queen. I would suggest not fighting it...The more you struggle the worse it'll be for you..."

As she slowly exclaimed Asmos noticed the several Demons joining in with the Fae surrounding him. It did not please Asmos, But he was in no position to hold anything against them, he was after all, About to commit the same act. Her words did ring true, He could not deny the things she had said, As they all responded to his way of believing.. And It made him feel quite amusing, Speaking in common, With a loud voice making sure that all the guards would hear him: Ahhh.. I suppose you are right... "Sunday" I will submit to your word, You have convinced me. He did not require anything more to be said, The message behind the words would be made clear soon.

Asmos slowly moved his arm around his back reaching for the large sword strapped to him. Taking it in his one hand he sat down onto his knees. It was no simple surrender, It was a deep bow towards Sunday. And a final faint whisper in the old tongue You are so very reminiscent of your mother, Wether you admit it or not. Asmos then lowered his head, Allowing him to be chained without making a single response.

Image"Forgive me if I sound rude, but there are many things about myself and my abilities that I do not share with others," He told her after a moment. Sashi couldn't say she blamed him for that bu the Loa in her mind wanted to know more. She wouldn't push the issue though. He did just save her, not from the demons though. "As for your second question... Helping people is kind of my thing nowadays," He said and arched his eyebrow. "Uh huh?" She murmured dubiously."If you don't want my help, I understand. You don't look weak to me, I'm sure you can handle yourself well enough. But I'm heading to the village either way, so if you'd like to tag along for the rest of the way you're more than welcome to accompany me." He said and started walking away. Sashi rolled her eyes. It was probably best that she didn't wander this world alone and he did save her, so if he wanted her to join him...whatever those reasons actually are because she wasn't buying that one, then fair enough. He was right, she could handle herself so if he ran out of kindness, he'd have a whole lot on his hands, more than what he would probably expect. He was getting a little further away before he spoke up again. "Shouldn't be more than a few hours away," He said and she sighed. It didn't help that the Loa wanted to be near him for some reason, so she decided... "Oh What the hell, Wait up!" She called and lightly jogged after him. Once she matched pace with him and she offered her hand. "I'm Sashi, by the way, and Thanks." She said, "Officially." She said rolling her eyes but cracking a small smirk.

" Ahhh.. I suppose you are right... "Sunday" I will submit to your word, You have convinced me." Asmos said and Sunday raised a dark eyebrow as he pulled his sword from his back and getting to his knees. The Fae that was with her hesitated but the demons all knew as well as Sunday did. He accepted her, acknowledging her as a royal and Queen, and if she didn't know any better she would have though he was pledging his loyalty...to her? But she knew better.
You are so very reminiscent of your mother, Whether you admit it or not. He spoke, this time in demon, and just to her, and she twitched. She was nothing like her mother....nothing...

She looked to the demons and jerked her head his direction.. and they chained his arms, chanting a small spell to seal them in place so that he could only move as far as Sunday would allow. The spell they used was one she created, infused Fae magic with Demon magic. It was something she and her Grandmother worked together on before this all began. The Thought of her Grandmother made her chest ache. So she turned, pulling her wings back and them fading in to her skin, she entered the tent. She looked at her father, a sheepish expression on her face. "Father...At the risk of sounding redundant...there is a demon wishing and audience with the two of us....He's even submitted to my chains for this assembly..." She said, hoping that she didn't upset him too much by this. He was perfectly capable of handling himself, he was the one to free her from the Demon Tower. So she wanted to return the favor as much as she could. She was stronger now, and oddly enough, she felt good about actually calling herself Queen.
Still, his disapproval was something she did not want, no matter how much she wanted to protect him.

Simon couldn't say exactly what had possessed him to stay inside the tent as his daughter presumed to take control of a situation that should have been his to handle. He'd made a promise once that he would never lift a finger to harm her; perhaps that was it. Although nothing in that moment would have given him more satisfaction than shoving her to one side and showing not only the Demon, but the camp, who was in charge.

Still, he stood with his weight against the fallen table, arms crossed over his chest, eyes trained on the tent's entrance until at long last his daughter stepped through. He watched her with a cold, unmoving stare, as if analysing her features. "Father... At the risk of sounding redundant... there is a demon wishing an audience with the two of us... He's even submitted to my chains for this assembly..." she explained. Simon clicked his teeth loudly and pushed his weight off the table, arms still crossed, stare still strong. "Do not treat me as if I am deaf, Sunday," he snapped back, almost spitting her name as though it held a sour taste against his tongue. He'd only ever spoken one other person's name with such anger and resentment.

The person before him may have spoken in his daughter's voice, even worn her face, but she was something else entirely. It was this thought alone that began to trigger the shift; he felt the darkness crawling over his skin, peeking through the collar of his shirt and making a slow ascent to his jaw, but for some reason stopping short of it. He was irritated, sure, but still he was a man of his word. "Tell me, Sunday, do you think that I am weak? That I'm a child? That I cannot fight my own battles?" he asked, his voice now - unbeknownst to himself - shifting into something less than human. With each question he stepped just a little bit closer, until he was within arm's length of her. "How do you think it looks when you pull this shit like this, huh? I'm supposed to be leading this rebellion but here I am, hiding in a tent while a child protects me from harm... Or do you go by 'her royal majesty' now?" He smiled then, but it was cruel and mocking.

There was a moment of almost dangerous silence, before Simon's eyes finally shifted, now focusing once again on the entrance. "Tell you what," he began, looking down at Sunday. "Since you apparently think me unfit to lead this rebellion, and you have now claimed your brilliant new title, why don't you go ahead and see to the Demon alone? He wants to speak to the leader," he said, gesturing towards Sunday with both arms extended outwards, "he can speak to the leader." He stepped back quite far then and bowed rather dramatically; as he straightened again, it could be seen that the darkness had swallowed his features whole. "Now if you'll excuse me, your Majesty, I do have other business to attend to." And just like that he was sinking into the shadow that the table cast over the ground, gone within mere seconds.

"Do not treat me as if I am deaf, Sunday," Her father spat and Sunday jumped, standing straight. She thought he'd be a litte annoyed, maybe even upset but this anger- no rage she did not expect. Her mouth fell open, wanting to say something but all she could do was stare wide eyed. He was never this short with her. Ever. What was this?
"Tell me, Sunday, do you think that I am weak? That I'm a child? That I cannot fight my own battles?"] He asked and she felt fear shoot through her, shadows crawled up his skin, she never seen him use his shadows before. From what she understood, he took after her Grandmother, not her Grandfather. She didn't answer his question, she just trembled, as he came closer, tears already forming. Did he think she thought him weak? How could he think that at all. She just wanted to do the protecting, she didn't mean to offend him by it. She opened her mouth to speak but it snapped shut when he began again, and he was closer now. It took all she had not to scramble back against the tent wall. "How do you think it looks when you pull this shit like this, huh? I'm supposed to be leading this rebellion but here I am, hiding in a tent while a child protects me from harm... Or do you go by 'her royal majesty' now?" He snapped and she closed her eyes, trying not to imagine herself back in the Demon tower, and her mother's voice, snapping at her for an innocent mistake. "Father please..." She whimpered, barely audible over his own ranting. She wanted to close her ears too but she didn't. She was so afraid he might hit her ifs he did, and while he never laid a finger on her, not once, he'd never been this angry at her before either. What got into him? Was he angry thy she called herself Demon Queen, none of her words were lies, he knew that, but that couldn't have upset him so what was it? Why was he being so cruel? "Tell you what," He said and scowled down at her, and she shrank under his gaze. "Since you apparently think me unfit to lead this rebellion, and you have now claimed your brilliant new title, why don't you go ahead and see to the Demon alone? He wants to speak to the leader," He said and she saw his arms move and she closed her eyes bracing herself for a strike but none came, only more words "he can speak to the leader." He said and she opened her eyes, confusion was mixed in with the fear now. Darkness swallowed him, making him all the more wraith. "Now if you'll excuse me, your Majesty, I do have other business to attend to."[b/] He said and was gone.

Sunday could barely keep herself up right. She was shaking, hard, her teeth were chatting, her pale hands quaking, she'd never been so afraid of her father before . He always protected her, he was her harbor, her safe haven, the only things that kept her from ending her life after Alec's betrayal, where was her real father, the Fae, not the Wraith.

She wrapped her arms around herself to keep from shaking and was about to go to the door when she froze. She couldn't press any further, all she could do was move back. Each time she tried, she was stopped by some invisible force. Then she remembered. She gave her word that Asmos would have his audience with her father, not the leader but she didn't want to see him. Her father scared her, she didn't want to see him like that...but she was bound by her words. She had to.

This was the first time in her entire life she resented her Fae heritage. She closed her eyes, took a few deep breathes and searched for him. Reaching out with her mind and her magic to find where he slithered off to. It was a little trick her Grandmother taught her, knowing the members of the Davenport family liked to disappear when times got hard. It was only Alexis who could truly hide and it was Erieda who could always find anyone of them. Sunday was nearly as strong but her father had just been there so that made things easier.

Sunday then allow her body to fall away, and break into small black feathers, and float toward him as if they'd been carried on the wind. Once she found him, though she couldn't see him, she could feel him and she landed a safe distance.

"Father....I did not mean to offend you....You are the leader...and without you this whole camp would fall to ruin." She said, softly as she took to human form. "That is why I chose to go out there, stop him, if I die, the rebellion would go on, but you, if you died....None of us will." She said and looked down at the floor, she never once rose her gaze to him or his general direction. "I've seen the things that creature can do, and I know your strong, that doesn't stop me from being afraid, worrying, I want to protect you just as much as you want to protect me....She said and while she wanted to address his rage and how sudden if not unnecessary that it was but she was much too afraid, she was almost certain her mere presence was angering him and didn't want to make it worse by drawing attention it to. [color#9932CC] "I'm sorry, Father, Please don't hate me, I won't do it again."

The entire situation was a bizarre mixture of amusement and fear. Asmos had been chained, this was his one way to get his words across. He watched as his princess entered the tent. "Father... At the risk of sounding redundant... there is a demon wishing an audience with the two of us... He's even submitted to my chains for this assembly..." It seems the princess at least kept her word like a nice Fae. Then a storm erupted inside the tent. The words were spoken in an harsh angered tone, Asmos could hear that this was not the way the man spoke normally. The horrified expressions that the surrounding guards displayed only further supported his theory. As a veteran of war Asmos was used to way more terrifying shouts. Yet these ones made him shutter, there was power behind them, he was afraid, yet a small part of him was amused..

"Tell me, Sunday, do you think that I am weak? That I'm a child? That I cannot fight my own battles?"
"How do you think it looks when you pull this shit like this, huh? I'm supposed to be leading this rebellion but here I am, hiding in a tent while a child protects me from harm... Or do you go by 'her royal majesty' now?"
"Since you apparently think me unfit to lead this rebellion, and you have now claimed your brilliant new title, why don't you go ahead and see to the Demon alone? He wants to speak to the leader,"

The onslaught raged. Asmos could almost feel bad for the princess, and if it weren't for the chains then he would have probably entered the tent just to be a part of the verbal battle, well it was no battle, it was a slaughter.

"Now if you'll excuse me, your Majesty, I do have other business to attend to." and with that he seemed to have left. The guards surrounding Asmos looked like they had been shot, their faces pale white and mortified. This Simon seemed to be well respected and honored. But to act that way before his subordinates. Asmos could not help but to for a fleeting moment think about his queen, was that his new Lord?

Then several short bursts of magic gently escaped the tent, Asmos only barely noticed it. This was no significant ability of his. Simply his many years of fighting paying their role. A small shift in the air, barely noticeable. Was The leader of the rebellion truly about to vanish out of his own camp out of silly rage. Certainly Asmos was no one to blame someone for their rage, but a leader should not allow himself such actions, This is at least what Asmos thought. Now to wait and see how the situation evolved.

"Oh what the hell, wait up!"

Rahmiel couldn't fight the smile that twitched at the corners of his mouth in that moment. He felt a strange sense of relief then, listening closely as her hurried footsteps became louder. By the time she caught up to him, his smile had long since vanished and was instead replaced by a rather serious expression, his eyes trained forward until her extended hand entered his vision. He turned to her, hesitating a moment before finally offering his own hand to shake hers once, after which it retreated into the long sleeve of his cloak. "I'm Sashi, by the way, and thanks," she began. "Officially."

She then smirked, and he had to take care not to mirror it. He gave a slight nod and turned his head, focusing again on where they were going. "Rahmiel," he replied simply, taking particular care with his words. "And you're very welcome, Sashi. It's a pleasure to meet you." He paused then, as if he wasn't quite sure what to say to her. He was only helping her out, he didn't feel they had to bond on any level, but the time would pass too slowly without conversation, and so after clearing his throat, he began again. "Mind if I ask what you were doing out here alone?" he asked. "No offense meant, but you don't look much like a traveller." He attempted a light tone of voice but still felt he was being a bit too intrusive, and the awkwardness showed on his expression - much that he tried to mask it. He was not - nor had he ever been - much of a conversationalist.

Simon appeared once again not far outside of the camp, rising from the ground wherever the shadows would permit it. He allowed himself a quick look at his surroundings, before a loud exhale on his behalf filled the silence. Stretching his arms out, he clicked his joints each in turn, and set off at a steady jog, moving through the dense woodland with ease. He didn't quite know where he was headed, and he didn't quite care, he just knew he needed to be away from the camp. Away from her.

The Davenports had a nasty habit of running from their problems. Anyone who spent enough time around his family would say as much. Simon had always been more like his father than he ever cared to admit.

A sound from behind disrupted his thoughts and caused him to halt suddenly; it was almost as if something had landed on the forest floor. He turned, frown heavy, and laid eyes upon his daughter. "Father... I did not mean to offend you... You are the leader... and without you this whole camp would fall to ruin," Sunday began. Had his face not been cloaked in darkness, the rolling of his eyes would have been visible. As it was, his emotions were entirely hidden. "That is why I chose to go out there, stop him, if I die, the rebellion would go on, but you, if you died... None of us will." Simon lifted his head with a hiss. On any other day he would have appreciated her attempts to keep him safe, but his distorted thoughts at that moment caused him to believe she was only calling him weak.

"I've seen the things that creature can do, and I know you're strong, that doesn't stop me from being afraid, worrying, I want to protect you just as much as you want to protect me..." she continued after a moment. He could only sigh. "I'm sorry, Father, please don't hate me, I won't do it again."

There was a long moment of silence after Sunday finished speaking; Simon hadn't moved a muscle in that time, his head was lowered, his stare directed at the ground. Finally he looked up, as if he'd just reached some new realisation. "You only came here because you can't return to Asmos without me," he concluded with a firm nod, and paused again as he straightened. "Very well. We'll return to your new pet... If he seeks the audience you promised, I'll give him that at least... For your sake." He expected, by this point, that the shadows would have relented. However, they did not, seemingly haven taken on a mind of their own. "But make no mistake, Sunday. You've dared to claim this new title, you will also claim the responsibilities that come with it."

The shadows wouldn't budge but his body language suggested he was more relaxed, for whatever reason. "I don't hate you. I can't hate you. You're my daughter," he started. His lips parted, and he went to speak again, but stopped himself. He wanted to explain that he was worried about how much she was changing... That she was suddenly a woman, and not his little girl. Instead he released an exasperated huff and started forward. Simon closed the gap between them within seconds and placed an unnaturally cold hand upon her shoulder. They were sinking then, and appeared again where he'd disappeared in the first place.

He took his hand back as soon as he was able, not for himself but because he didn't think she'd appreciate the cold, and stepped around her. "Apologies for the wait," he said without sincerity, ducking out of the tent. He looked the creature up and down, almost surprised by the sight of him. Simon's arms were clasped behind his back. "Well then, let's have done with this, Demon."

Image"Rahmiel," He spoke and Sashi nodded, though the touch of his hand sent the Loa into a frenzy. Familiar.... they hissed in her mind and she had to fight to listen to him, they were so loud. She knew him, but of course she didn't remember. There was shit she could do about it. What was she going to say? Hey, do you remember me, by any chance.
"And you're very welcome, Sashi. It's a pleasure to meet you." He said and she gave a quick nod, allowing her hand to fall to her side as they walked. Images flashed in her mind for the small silence. She saw a house, large, too big to be a house but it felt like a home. She saw figures. A man, she'd seen him in these visions before but it was like looking up though water, everything was distorted, she couldn't make out his features. She'd dreamt of this man, but she never remembered the dream. Then she saw a girl, again, same distortion but she was new. She had a lot of hair, but she could tell it was a female, but she just knew that this was a young girl, she cared for her, she just knew, just like she knew that she cared for the blurryfaced man. Then pain, That damned aching pain she felt in her stomach every time she thought of the man, but it was stronger now with the girl. Who was that girl? Why she did only appear now? After meeting Rahmiel.... It was then that she realized he was speaking. "Huh?" She muttered before his question registered. "Mind if I ask what you were doing out here alone?" he asked.b]"No offense meant, but you don't look much like a traveller." He asked and she chewed her on inner cheek. "I'm more of a wanderer, I guess...I don't really have a destination, so I just walk....eat when I can, sleep when I can, and walk." She said with a shrug before her hand went to her stomach. The pain was too much. too strong. The Loa were buzzing frantically to the point where she hissed in pain and doubled over. clutching her stomach. She panted, trying to breath through the pain, but it was no use. She felt as if she were being stabbed, over and over again. "Calm down...." She spoke but she wasn't talking to herself, but the Loa. They were fighting for dominance, but she didn't know why. She hadn't called on anyone of them, nor did was she in any danger....she hoped. Was it the vision? "Follow the white rabbit." The Loa crooned, this was one voice this time, not many, one she recognized. Ghede Linto....he knew the future. He was fighting to get her attention. Follow the white rabbit "Please, calm down...." She pleaded and it was at that moment a small child popped through the brush, and looked squarely at Rahmiel. Sashi's eyes went wide and the pain ceased almost immediately and even the Loa calmed. Sashi stood slowly, looking at the little girl. She had to be no older than 7 or 8 and....Sashi's eyes went wide. She was clutching a white rabbit in a waistcoat, "Hey, Little one...Where'd you come from?" She asked but the little girl didn't look at her, just stared intently at Rahmiel, almost she if she knew him.

The white dots that made up Asmos eyes started shining brightly the moment they saw Simon. They were practically glowing. This was an intense moment for Asmos. He had stood in hundreds of battles, yet there was an interesting pressure placed upon him. The man standing before him was the last one to be called: "Leader of the Fae". Asmos was almost a little disappointed, he was expecting someone clad in full war gear. But it was at least clear, this man could fight, in more than one way.

With the chains constricted his arms and the spell which was so meticulously cast upon it that would not allow him to move, He was completely incapable of running or struggling, Not like that is what he thought about doing. He was being granted his audience. But before that, he wanted to judge his character.

Asmos rose from the kneeling position he had taken. Asmos was big, Even for a Demon. The chains did not take away from his intimidating stature rather, almost enhancing it. His eyes were intensely staring directly at Simon. A strange heat emitting from his gaze Yes... You are the one who slayed my prince. Do forgive me but I was suspecting more. Well not to say that hearing the mighty Demon Slayer throw a tantrum wasn't an interesting experience.

Asmos words were insulting. He was challenging Simon. It was clear how annoyed the Fae currently was. Asmos hoped to play on that. Normally no one would blame the leader for punishing Asmos, especially since he was the enemy. But this was no normal case. Asmos had surrendered and allowed himself to be tied up. Asmos was of course gambling his life, much thanks to his own foolhardiness. The reason behind the gamble was simple, He wanted to see if Simon was a leader.

Simon watched on with caution as the Demon picked himself up off the ground and stood at full height. There was a small smirk of amusement twitching at the corner of his lips, though it could not be seen behind the shadows that shifted calmly over his skin, as if they were alive. As of late, the Prince feared very little, least of all physical threats, and this creature was not one of the few exceptions. He stood tall, wore menacing armor, and was generally quite an intimidating individual. Even then, Simon was not outmatched.

"Yes... You are the one who slayed my prince. Do forgive me but I was suspecting more. Well not to say that hearing the mighty Demon Slayer throw a tantrum wasn't an interesting experience."

Simon set his jaw, his teeth audibly gritting together. He was, and always had been, a very proud man. Surrounded by his followers, men and women alike, there was nothing he wouldn't give to put this Demon in his place. But Simon was still smart enough to know when someone was trying to push his buttons; the creature was testing him. It was this realization that kept his feet firmly planted on the ground, his arms still clasped behind his back, his composure overall intact. The shadows continued to writhe as they always did, if not a little more violently against his skin. There were some things he couldn't hide.

"You requested an audience," he began, his voice having returned to normal at this point though he spoke sternly. "I have granted you this... Now, if you mean to stand there and mock me, I would happily have you escorted out of this camp and you can freely return from whence you came," he continued, "or, you can tell me why you came here demanding my presence and we can both be on our way. I really do have other affairs that also require my attention." This, of course, was true. He had to make preparations for the attack, much like the other Generals, among many other things. It always seemed to be the way of things that when he was at his busiest, that was when other people decided to start being problematic. "Believe it or not, you are at the very bottom of my list of priorities right now. So make your choice, Demon, and as I said before, let us have done with this."

Sunday couldn't say what she made of her father's attitude. Sure she did have to speak with him in order to keep her word, and she probably wouldn't have giving the mood he was in and the way he barked at her, but there was still so much more she wanted to say. He was upset that she took the title of Queen. It was her birthright and sh was Fae is wasn't untrue. Why did that bother him so much? Was that what he thought she wanted? It wasn't. Not in the least. She didn't want to be Queen, she didn't want to be princess. She wanted..well, she didn't know what she wanted, not entirely. She wanted her Grandmother. She always had the answers for everything. She could talk to her when her Father was being impossible like he was now. Sunday wondered if it was the pressure of leading. Grandmother had told her once that she'd been grooming him to lead, but that didn't mean he was ready for it. Maybe that was it? Maybe the pressure was too much, along with a good percentage of his family was either dead, missing or captured. His twin was gone, both of the loves her had were killed, all by the same woman.

It finally clicked. He was seeing her mother...in her. That's why he was so angry with her. It had to be. He was seeing glimpses of her mother in her. Perhaps he thought power would corrupt her too, make her into that wretched woman.

She would not allow that. She couldn't allow her father to see her that way. That woman has been the bane of his existence and she would not allow herself to be a constant reminder of her.

All of this was what Sunday was thinking when her father spoke to Asmos. She snapped out of it just in time to hear him insult him. "Yes... You are the one who slayed my prince. Do forgive me but I was suspecting more. Well not to say that hearing the mighty Demon Slayer throw a tantrum wasn't an interesting experience." Asmos said and Sunday shot him a glare. She wouldn't speak on her father's behalf anymore, she promised she wouldn't, but by the gods she wanted to say something. All she could do was glare at him as her father went on. His shadows slithered angrily, ready to lash out at Asmos.

"You requested an audience," Her father said and Sunday just watched, her arms folded, leaning some, against the tent wall. Suddenly, Sunday felt a cold panic wash over her. Like being dosed with ice water. She sat up, her arms falling to her side. She didn't know what it was, but she grew more and more panicked. She didn't hear anything her father said, until her said. "Believe it or not, you are at the very bottom of my list of priorities right now. So make your choice, Demon, and as I said before, let us have done with this." He went on and Sunday looked around, wrapping her arms around herself. What was this?

Then images flashed in her mind, her memories, none of it made sense it was as if she was watching herself through someone else's eyes. Her eyes went wide. She was...it was someone small, and someone with the the ability to manipulate the mind.

"Alice." Sunday breathed before stumbling toward the her and Alice's tent in a hurry. She pulled back the tarp, nearly taken the whole thing down, as she ducked inside and shuffled through the blankets. Of course she was not there. She knew she wasn't, but where in all Hells was she. Sunday tore out of the tent, and back to her father, not really caring for Asmos at the moment. "Alice is missing" She said, tears glossing her eyes. "I'm gong to find her." She said, It was not a request, or her asking permission. She was just letting him know. Without waiting for a response, Sunday took a few steps away from anyone, and spread her wings. She looked up, before jumping, pumping her wings, getting airborne and took off with a loud whoosh
"Mommy's coming, Alice, Mommy's coming."
