[ ALIAS ]
In an attempt to shield the Princess' true identity, her travelling companion gave her the alias of "Ghost" (in reference to her species).

[ AGE ]
Twenty-two.

[ ORIENTATION ]
Pansexual, pan-romantic.

[ TITLE // ROLE ]
Formerly Crowned Princess of the Demon Realm.
Currently a wanderer/rogue.

[ PERSONALITY ]

[ SPECIES ]
Eida was born with the blood of many supernatural species, including both Shadow and Ghost Wraith, with small fractions of Dryad Fae and Human. She is, however, more Ghost Wraith than anything else. Wraiths are generally known as evil spirits, originating from the Netherworld, which drain the life energy and souls of mortals to extend their lifespan.

[ WRAITH FORM ]
Eida had a rather distinct Wraith form, being that she takes after her father (a Ghost Wraith). Much unlike regular Wraiths, whose bodies are coated in writhing shadows, Eida's skin and hair will turn a ghostly white, her eyes a shocking shade of pale blue, and there is a slight transparency to her body that would have you believing you could put a hand straight through her. To stand near her would freeze you to your core, but to touch her skin would burn the flesh straight off your fingers. Like iron to a fae, she is both cold and burning hot at the same time.

[ POWERS & ABILITIES ]
Alec and Eida have always matched each other with regards to strength and abilities, and it is generally understood that they draw from each other's power. As such, it is not known if Alec's power originated with Eida, or the other way around. But, nonetheless, they are both incredibly powerful.
Eida's powers centre more around her father and his species, as opposed to either of her parents' mental abilities.

✱ Wraith Physiology
✱ Ghost Physiology

[ SKILLS & STRENGTHS ]
Having never been trained before the war, Eida's combat skills are a little rusty, but you cannot deny talent when you see it. She picks things up quickly and has a knack for storing information/skills, such as the survival skills (crafting, hunting, hiding) that she was forced to learn in order to live in the wilderness.

[ FLAWS & WEAKNESSES ]
There is still fae in her blood, and as such she is bound to the truth, burned by iron and can be controlled by her true name. Her human side means she is not entirely immortal and can age, just slowly (1 year aged for every 100 years of time) In addition to this, common weaknesses for her kind include being weak soul manipulation, necromancy and shadow manipulation.

[ FAMILY ]
Erieda Davenport // Grandmother // Alive.
Alexander Davenport // Grandfather // Alive.
Simon Davenport // Uncle // Alive.
Symone Iris // Mother // Deceased.
Dahvie Iris // Father // Deceased.
Alec Iris // Brother // Alive.

[ BACKGROUND ]
Eida grew up in the human realm, after she and her brother had been sent to live under the guidance and protection of their grandmother, Erieda (whom she was named after). She lived a rather uneventful life, attending school and having little to do with the demons, until the war broke out. From the very beginning, Eida wanted no part of it, placing herself on neither side, despite her parent's alignment with Victoria. It wasn't until her brother was revealed to be behind the war that Eida could take no more of it all, and fled. She has been hiding ever since, concealing her identity and her former lineage.

[ NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS ]
Mycah Youngfire || Eida and Mycah met just before the war started, when he was brought to the human realm and introduced as her Great Uncle's ward. They spent a fair bit of time in each other's company and, after some prompting on Eida's part, Mycah offered to court the young princess. While they never solidified their relationship, they were known to have affectionate feelings for one another. The events of the war cut their romance short, with Eida fleeing from her family's side, but not before sharing an emotional farewell with Mycah.
Dahvie and Symone || Much unlike her brother, Eida felt no resentment towards her parents for leaving the two of them in the human realm. She saw what Alec could not; sense and reason. She was much closer with her mother, seeing her as more of a role model, but she loved both of her parents (despite their alignment) and it broke her entirely when she discovered that they had been executed.
Aurae Vhoadan || Eida and Aurae didn't meet again until months after the creation of the new realm, but they vaguely knew each other before and during the war. Aurae had travelled to the human realm to assist Erieda in whatever way she could, but the two girls had little to do with each other. They have come to rely on each other for survival, and developed an unbreakable friendship.
Alec Iris || The two siblings had once been very close with one another, despite their conflicting personalities and views towards their parents. That all changed when Alec revealed himself to be Anonymous, and even more so when she discovered that Alec had allowed Symone and Dahvie to be killed. She feels as if it is her duty to take his life, for the sake of her parents.

"See anything?" Lemlihr called out, working to wipe his blade clean of blood.

Eida sat atop a tree branch, watching the smoke as it rose into the sky. Whatever the source of it was, it had been burning near enough all night.

"Nothing new," she replied, plucking a single leaf from one of the thinner branches beside her and inspecting it for a moment, before allowing it to float down to the ground. She released a sigh, before shifting her gaze downwards, catching a small glimpse of Lemlihr as he stood and moved away. Picking herself up, she stepped down each branch individually, taking caution where necessary, before dropping herself from a height of three or four meters. She landed softly on her feet.

Lemlihr was crouching by this point, staring down at their most recent victim. Eida shook her head a little, before going to retrieve their bags. They weren't going to stay around long, anyway. And if they were going to get the items they needed for the following week's survival, they were going to have to do a lot of looting.

Eida turned around to see Lemlihr slipping off the man's boots, which were of decent make. "Oh, for goodness sake, Tai... You're seriously taking his shoes?" she snapped, causing Lemlihr to look up at her with an incredulous expression. "Well, fucking excuse me," he replied, "you didn't see me complaining when you stole that one girl's bra. At least shoes have a real purpose."

For what felt like the tenth time that morning, Eida sighed and rolled her eyes. While Lemlihr stayed behind to swap his shoes, Eida began walking, away from the direction of the smoke. Both travellers knew better than to investigate such things. They aimed to avoid civilisation at all costs, except for when they were looting, but that was only because the people they encountered rarely lived to tell the tale. Eida was too easy to identify.

A few minutes after she set off, Lemlihr fell into place by her side, huffing quietly. "Where next, then?" he asked, slipping his knife into its holster. "I'm getting sick of seeing trees... So many fucking trees. We could go back and try the city. They might have some better resources," he mused, and when Eida stopped walking suddenly, he knew to shut up before he pissed her off. "Right, it's probably best not to repeat last time. Got it."

After a good while of walking, a strange sound caught the attention of both travellers, causing them both to crouch. Slowly and cautiously, Eida inched forward for what felt like the longest time, before coming to a clearing. She hid behind a tree, leaning to the side for a brief second in order to catch a glimpse of whatever the sound might've been.

"That tree must've really pissed you off," Lemlihr called, strolling past Eida through the clearing without a care in the world.

Eida rolled her eyes, yet again, and drew the sword from her back as she stepped from behind the cover of the trees. As she approached, she caught sight of a figure, stood next to a rather battered looking tree. He must've been practicing.

"That's a nice sword you have," Lemlihr continued, drawing his lips back in a snarl and challenging the unknown male with his unrelenting stare.

"He's Fae," Eida stated, causing Lemlihr to pause, before backing down. Any previous displays of aggression were long gone. The leadership between the two travellers had been established long ago. Lemlihr knew where he stood when Eida gave or even suggested an order. She was busy looking the boy over, picking out his traits. "What's your name, Elf?" she asked.

ALAIONX SARFAREN

LOCATION:X THEX FOREST

Alabaster hands clutched at a beautiful wooden hilt, with ancient runes carved into it. Alaion was stood in the forest, assuming the position he'd been taught by Delaquis before the man had disappeared. He'd been hacking at the tree for hours, trying to fine tune his swordsmanship skills. The blade was slowly hacking into the bark, leaving slash marks everywhere, like some kind of art. His grunts were getting ever louder, now, but he kept swinging his sword at the tree, with mild surprise that the blade hadn't received any damage yet. That was, until, he heard a voice from behind him. "That tree must've really pissed you off." The Dark Elf turned around to face the stranger, hands still gripping onto the sword, as he listened to what the man had to say.

The hostilities offered by said stranger were well met as Alaion readied his sword, but his attitude completely changed when the woman (who Alaion could only assume was his companion) spoke. "He's Fae." Her eyes seemed to be looking the Dark Elf up and down, before she asked, "What's your name, Elf?"

To this, Alaion twirled the sword in his hand, breathing in and out. He had to be ready for anything - who knew what these two were capable of? His sword, being made of iron, could deal with the Fae man, if he truly was Fae, but what about the girl? God knows what she could do. Just tell them your name, and deal with it as it comes, he thought, giving a big exhale. "Alaion Sarfaren. Dark Elf." He said, digging his blade into the ground and leaning on his sword's handle in and attempt to hide his shaking. A confrontation in the woods is not something he wanted to experience in his lifetime. Gripping his sword a little more, he summoned all the courage available to him, before adding, "I can ask the same of you, strangers."

While Eida gazed at the Elf boy with a subtle fascination in her eyes, Lemlihr instead watched on with amusement as he turned the sword around in his grip.

There seemed to be a long pause between Eida's question and the boy's response. "Alaion Sarfaren. Dark Elf," he finally spoke, and Lemlihr released a snort. Daren't make that mistake again, he thought, his hand still hovering over the blade hanging from his hip. His eyes were drawn to the rather large sword now sticking into the ground. He was not intimidated by the presence of such a weapon; merely curious about the runes engraved in it. He wondered briefly where it was wrong, or even what it would be worth to the right buyer.

"I can ask the same of you, strangers." Alaion continued, and Lemlihr shifted his stare back to Eida, who was smiling coyly. She could not be honest about her identity, being a notable member of the Fae, Demon and Wraith royal families, but neither could she tell a lie. She was fae, through and through. Lemlihr stepped forward at this point, clearing his throat as if to catch the male's attention. "Lemlihr Vantairus," he replied, gesturing to himself. "And that's Ghost. We're little more than travellers nowadays... I'm assuming you are too."

As Lemlihr began with introductions, Eida sheathed her own weapon. She did not recognise Alaion's name, nor his face, but he was Fae regardless. She rarely encountered those of her own race, and those she did encounter, she refrained from harming. Useful as his weaponry and equipment might have been to the two travellers, she had no intention of trying to take possession of them.

Eida moved closer to the Dark Elf, keeping herself a respectable distance away from him, just in case he did decide to pull his sword from the ground and attack. Lemlihr was moving closer too, presumably out of an instinctual need to protect his companion. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Alaion," she finally said, which was accompanied by a rather unconvincing grunt of agreement from Lemlihr. "It's not often we come across free Fae on our travels..." As she looked up at him, she almost wished she could ask him how he managed to escape being imprisoned, but remembered that she should refrain from prying into people's pasts; they often expected the same from her.

"Are you travelling with anyone?" Lemlihr piped up, having slipped his hands into his pockets by this point.

ALAIONX SARFAREN

LOCATION:X THEX FOREST

Alaion had decided to take up a more comfortable position, leaning against his tree with his other hand near his sword and ready to fight if the time should arise. The strangers' sudden change in mood were unnerving him slightly, thus fuelling a wariness of them. Regardless, they were talking to him, so social convention dictated that he be polite and listen, as well as respond. The snort that met his introduction was a little unexpected, but he still maintained a casual stature, trying not to let his timidness, or fear, show. He did notice the man's eyeing of his sword, however, as he examined the two closely, which definitely put him a little on edge.

Speaking of examining the two, he then noticed a coy smile playing at the woman's lips, who had interestingly grown silent upon Alaion's questioning of the travellers. He thought of it as nothing, however, and turned his attention to the male traveller, who cleared his throat, before he introduced them. "Lemlihr Vantairus," Lemlihr then gestured to himself. "And that's Ghost. We're little more than travellers nowadays... I'm assuming you are too." Hm. Alaion hadn't really thought of himself as a traveller up until that point, in fact, he didn't know what he was. The man's simple assumption turned itself into a complicated thought-provoking phrase, which really got the Dark Elf stumped, and he knew it probably showed on his face. What brought him out of this little phase was a small sound, which came from Ghost, who was sheathing her sword. That relieved Alaion more than he thought it would. His paranoia instantly spiked again, however, as she approached him slightly, along with Lemlihr, though they kept their distance. Ghost finally spoke, after a prolonged moment of surprisingly calm silence, despite the tension in the air.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Alaion," the man, Lemlihr, grunted at this, "It's not often we come across free Fae on our travels..." This sparked a soft smile to come across Alaion's face. He'd never allowed himself to think of himself as Fae - the thought of being a fugitive was too much of a load for him to bear. It was one of many things he punished himself for letting get on his mind, the passing of his mother being amongst them. He preferred to keep his mind clean of things like that, even if he did know that it was damaging him more than it was helping him. He shook the thoughts out of his head, however, and continued listening. "Are you travelling with anyone?" Lemlihr piped up. Yeah, the voice in my head, Alaion thought, tempted to even say it, but decided otherwise. "No, unfortunately. Just me, myself and I. It does get a little lonely, I'll admit, but I've survived for this long, so why change now?" He said, before realising that last part may have made all further conversation both a bit awkward and pointless. "Not that I'm opposed to the idea," he quickly added. He wouldn't admit it; but the prospect of having Lemlihr and Ghost join him was comforting - they gave off a strong aura of strength in numbers, and seemed experienced.

As Eida awaited a response from Alaion, she couldn't help but shift her gaze towards the surrounding forest. It was not in her nature to worry about things, but she hoped for Alaion's sake that any companions he might've had wouldn't try anything too stupid. They would not survive such an encounter. "No, unfortunately. Just me, myself and I. It does get a little lonely, I'll admit, but I've survived for this long, so why change now?" he replied after a moment, and Eida nodded, though she did not return her focus to him until he spoke again. "Not that I'm opposed to the idea."

Eida gave him a tight-lipped smile, which only lasted a moment. "I understand," she promptly added. "It's likely that you wouldn't enjoy our company, even if I did offer it to you." For some odd reason, she found herself glancing towards Lemlihr, who stood with a deep frown weighing on his brows. He refused to move his glare from Alaion, so he didn't notice, but that brief moment of silence following Eida's words made his jaw clench. She knew he would not welcome the idea of allowing Alaion to tag along, but neither would he oppose her; she did not like forcing such inner conflicts on him, but Alaion might have his uses.

Turning her attention back to the Dark Elf, she continued on. "I'll leave you to your training," she said, "but, should you wish to accompany us now, you're welcome to." If the boy had any sense at all, he'd take that chance while it had been offered to him on a silver platter. He would not receive another one, should they come across each other again, and she made sure that was evident, not only in her stare but in her voice. Eida needed no verbal response; if he wanted to join, he could follow. And so, with that being said, she carried on, moving towards the edge of the clearing. Lemlihr followed behind her, having been made to collect their bags beforehand.

Eida and Lemlihr knew not where they planned to go next, only that they needed to keep moving before night fell. They were still tasked with finding food and whatnot. Eida could go days without eating, being mostly Wraith, but Lemlihr's hunger was insatiable. Besides, she would prefer to find some shelter... The creatures of the forest were pesky to deal with, especially for someone like Lemlihr.

ALAIONX SARFAREN

LOCATION:X THEX FOREST

Alaion was glad his more comfortable position wasn't exploited by the two as Ghost responded, the short, tight-lipped smile she gave him sparking a soft sympathy inside him, for some reason. He was glad she understood, but her little quip about their company was disheartening, even though the Dark Elf had experience the unpleasantness of Lemlihr for himself. As for the unpleasant man, his gaze was fixed onto Alaion like he were the man's prey, which did begin to put him on edge again. He sat up a little, burying a black-booted heel into the ground as he did so.

The Dark Elf almost let out a sigh of relief when Ghost spoke again, glad to have another distraction, and it was about to get better. "I'll leave you to your training, but, should you wish to accompany us now, you're welcome to." The options began to weigh in Alaion's mind, sparked by the woman's look and tone of voice - they carried a sort of "if you know what's good for you, come with us" demeanour to them, and the man knew that was the implication. He was relieved he was being offered the chance, but who knows how long he'd travel with them - for all he knew they'd play him like an instrument, then leave him for dead somewhere, or murder him in his sleep. Paranoia began to creep in as the negatives started to overwhelm the positives, every single tiny detail being multiplied in his mind, in big, red letters.

He slammed a fist into the tree, his eyes widening but his voice refusing to let him express his pain. It was then he noticed the travellers had already started walking away, and he hurriedly jumped up, pulling his sword out of the ground whilst also attempting to console his painful fist. He ended up just shaking it about as though he were trying to rid it of water, as he jogged after the two. Sure, his paranoia would probably try to keep telling him that they'd leave him dying in a ditch somewhere, but their instinctive nature and strength in numbers definitely comforted him more than the prospect of them killing him disheartened him. For all he knew, this would finally be his chance to discover some bigger picture that he might become a part of, rather than being a useless waste of space running around, lost.

Alaion shook the debate in his mind away as he caught up to Ghost and Lemlihr, letting out a heavy exhale. "I thought I was starting to go insane out there. Thank you," he said, deciding he should at least express his gratitude, though held off from trying to make any small talk for the time being. He would take it up if either of them offered it, however.

A gentle smiled settled on Eida's lips as she heard rushed footsteps approaching from behind, but it slipped away almost instantly as Alaion stepped into place beside them. "I thought I was starting to go insane out there. Thank you," the dark elf spoke, causing Eida to turn her head in his direction, her eyes looking him up and down before she nodded. "I suppose you're welcome," she responded after a moment, before she looked ahead once more. Lemlihr, throughout all of this, was picking up his pace and marching on ahead, seemingly unwilling to be near their new companion. This struck Eida as normal behaviour on Lem's part, but also quite worrying. She didn't want them to begin fighting for any reason, and with Lemlihr's temper flaring more than unusual, this was looking like it might actually happen.

Eida remained, for the most part, by Alaion's side, though she instinctively took the lead. "Don't mind him," she said, her voice quiet as her eyes remained on Lemlihr. "It will take him a while to warm up to you, but Lemlihr is a good person..." She paused for a moment, tapping her fingers against her right leg almost absentmindedly. "He once fought as part of the Remei, you know, but he defected because he didn't agree with their treatment of the fae. He wanted no part of their enslavement... I've heard that they call him the Kindly Demon, though that may be hard to believe with him being so extraordinarily miserable today." She wore a smile now, and looked up at Alaion. "I hope you can forgive his behaviour, and understand that he's only looking out for me... He doesn't trust you yet."

ImageImageImageImage

Alexander felt... regretful, mostly. He had yet again been unfaithful, though he had already considered the idea that his marriage to Erieda was no longer valid. There were doubts in his mind that had only come into play as soon as he allowed Victoria to have her way with him. It was one hell of an experience, he had to admit, but nothing when compared to a fae queen. He should have expected it, really.

He did not plan on sticking around for long, but neither could he up and leave straight away. And so, as he slipped his arms back into his shirt, he found himself looking up at Victoria. He lifted his hands to begin buttoning his shirt, and with a huff, he began to speak. "This was a mistake, Victoria... It cannot happen again," he said, almost surprising himself; he had meant to ask her which tasks she would have him carry out for the morning, but what came out instead was something else entirely, and he wasn't quite sure if his words were genuine or not, whether he wanted to see Victoria in this way again or maintain a professional relationship with the woman. Not that he probably had any real choice.

Deciding it would be easier to change the subject than to hear a response, Alex cleared his throat lightly. "As you are presumably aware, there is an issue which requires your attention today, my Queen," he said, his eyes shifting towards the door. "A matter which concerns the Siren, Brooklyn." With his hands clasped together behind his back, Alex patiently awaited an answer and/or command.

Mycah flew high in the sky, his keen eyes and ears, watching and listening to the ground below him. He could hear Demon's skittering about, but in short groups, hiding in the woods. Image
It wasn't an army or an attack force so he didn't worry. It was then that his mind wondered, as it always had when he was flying this high. He saw her face, her smile, the way her hands felt brushing softly against his scales. Where he was ashamed on his dragon form once, she saw beauty in it, she didn't fear it, she didn't fear him and he loved her for it. He loved her for so many this.

His mind then drifted to the faithful day where he had to choose, between her and his master. His master made his choice for him in all honesty.

He and Lord Thomas stood at the edge of the mountain in the demon realm, over looking the large citadel with which the Demon Queen and her ilk were held up.Ash fell down like snow, the wind whipping the smell of burning bodies around them. Mycah looked at his lord, he could see it in his eyes that the chances of them surviving this were slim. "Mycah, I'm going to need you to do something for me."
"Anything, My Lord." Image
"I need you to find Eida for me..."
Mycah frowned. He knew what this was. A Final Request. "My Lord, You needn't bite your tongue, You are going to survive this, we both are. I stood by you this whole time, I can not leave you now" He told him, and Lord Thomas looked at him, a smirk on his face. "Mycah, Do you love her."
That gave Mycah paused, why was he doing this now? "Yes, but--"
"Then find her, she's out there somewhere, alone and---"
"Please, do not say scared, she would kill us both."
"Without family." Lord Thomas corrected and Mycah swallowed. "Bring her to hotel, where we'll all be waiting for her and you." Lord Thomas gave a smile and Mycah looked down at his feet, he felt tears for the firs time in his life, pressure behind his eyes. "A-As you wish, My lord." he said, his voice breaking and before he knew it, he felt firm arms around him. Mycah forced himself not to cry, but it was hard, he felt himself raising his arms around his master, and holding tight. He was the only father he ever known, he taught him how to become a man, a good one, he owed his very sense of self to Lord Thomas.

"You're a good kid, Mycah, a good man, I am so proud of you...don't ever forget that..." Lord Thomas whispered, against the top his head, and Mycah found with his bottom lip. "Please, Let me go with you." Mycah chocked, feeling much like a child then, looking up at his father, tears glossing his dark eyes, as Lord Thomas pulled away, his hands on his shoulders.

Thomas touched his face with a smirk. "Find Eida for me. Please." He said, and Mycah dropped his head, before after a long moment, he nodded. "I will find her, and bring her to you." He said. "But you must promise--you'll be there waiting for us." He said, sniffing every so often. "I'll try, my word as a Fae." He said and it crushed Mycah that he could not promise him that, for the fact that he knew it would be a lie.

Mycah started walking, with the intention of not looking back, but he did, he cast a single glance back the man that had been like his father and he turned back, ran to him and embraced him tightly. Lord Thomas chuckled softly, hugging him once again. "I love you too, Kiddo." He said, knowing Mycah couldn't bring himself to say but the embrace did it for him.

With that, Mycah nodded, only once, before taking off in the other direction, keeping his thoughts on Eida, so not to lose his resolve, knowing full well, it was likely the last time he was ever going to see him again.

Thankfully, Mycah couldn't cry in Dragon form, it was the only time he even allowed himself those thoughts. It was then that he caught an all too familiar scent.

Impossible He thought, as his eyes scanned the forest, He turned, circling the forest, the canopy of trees could not allow for him to see, so he listened, there were two others, with a sweet voice, there was a smile in the tone, he knew it well, he'd tried his damnedest to put one there. "I hope you can forgive his behaviour, and understand that he's only looking out for me... He doesn't trust you yet."

Mycah found a clearing for him to land, unable to land in front of them for the forest. Surely he'd been seen, or so he hoped, as he shifted into his human form, warpaint and armored, he knew he'd be recognized regardless. His heart raced, as he navigated through the forest for the voice, it didn't take him long to find them.

There were two males, one was an Elf, his ears the giveaway, and a demon, but his eyes and mind were only on the female, the one who'd encompassed every thought, every breath, the one who gave him a reason to keep living after losing the only other person that gave his life purpose. He finally found her, nearly year, he finally found her, his morning sun, his moon and stars, his demon princess, his Day girl, His...

"Eida..."

Before she could continue talking, or even await a response from the Dark Elf she had only just been conversing with, a large mass in the sky cast shadows over them for only a moment, causing Eida and Lemlihr to stop, their eyes shifting upwards to the sky. What she saw could have damn near knocked the wind straight out of her, and she stood almost perfectly still until it disappeared beyond the cover of the trees. "A dragon..." she whispered, her eyes finding Lemlihr, who had pulled his daggers away from his hips as if he thought he could actually take the creature on with them. Eida merely stood in complete wonderment for the longest time, a sadness in her eyes as she recalled memories of Mycah... She loved his dragon form so much, he was powerful and handsome and, most importantly, hers. As she began walking forward, she swallowed the memories and drew back the tears that threatened to fall, her fingers curling into her palms.

After only a short while, Eida saw a dark figure moving through the woods, towards them. With one hand hovering over her blade and Lemlihr falling to her side, she strode with confidence, up until the male's features became more visible to her. She traced them with her pale eyes, her feet unwilling to carry her any further as she came to a sudden halt. She took note of his long brown hair, his olive complexion... those dark eyes that seemed all to familiar to her, and the dark paint that surrounded them. He seemed to be observing her too, and suddenly, it was if Lemlihr and Alaion weren't with her. It was only herself and this boy, this strangely familiar boy that seemed so taken aback by her presence.

"Eida..." he said suddenly, and in response, her eyes widened. It was as if something finally clicked within her mind and she recognised him for who he was; her dragon, her love... her Mycah. She was trembling suddenly as a million different thoughts ran through her head, all fighting for the chance to be at the forefront of her focus. She thought he was dead, that he had lost his life in the war along with the larger majority of the fae. No one had told her otherwise, simply because she had left before the war ended, before the realms were merged and the fae were enslaved. After that horrible night... she couldn't even bring herself to shudder at the memory, because she was too busy staring in silence at her love. Then came the most horrible thought of them all... Is he real? A ghost? A figment of my imagination?

Eida stepped forward slowly, almost cautiously as if she thought he might blow away in the wind, and made her way over to Mycah. If this was truly him, it would have been a year since she felt his skin beneath her fingers, his lips upon hers and the heat of his body pressing against her own. She had managed to supress her cravings for Lemlihr's sake but if he was real, she wouldn't have to. She could hold him again, and she would never let him go as she had done a year ago... She hesitantly lifted a hand to his jaw, brushing against his skin and releasing a shaky breath as her fingers touched solid flesh, her light eyes finding his dark ones. "It's truly you," she whispered, "My love... My Mycah." She took a moment to look him over, before her free hand shot up to his torso, grabbing hold of the fabric of his shirt and pulling her to him, her lips slamming against his and her jaw instantly trying to work for a deep and desperate kiss.

As she approached, this vision, this apparition sent from the Four torment him, Mycah could only watch. She looked much the same though she wore paint too, much like he had. He remembered once, long ago, how he explained his paint, why he wore it, and what it meant. Everything about him seemed to amuse her when those very things once caused him shame. She wore paint too. Was it in memory of him? Had she thought he died. He could honestly say he thought the same. He hadn't been himself since Lord Thomas died, and where it not for his mission he would have taken his own life. She was the only thing keeping him attached to this world.

....If this was really her. How he would lay awake, his thoughts swirling with images of her, what she could be doing now, what would have happened had they stayed on that mountain that day instead of returning home like he'd insisted, what became of her, if her death was swift and painless. She came to him, and all he could do was stare, waiting for the image to blow away like he had so many times in his most vivid dreams, instead, her hand rose up, and touched his face, and Mycah visibly flinched. "It's truly you," she whispered, taking his thoughts from his lips. His hand rose, shaking, with the intention of taking hers to make sure she was real. "My love... My Mycah." His own name caused him to blink. His name on her tongue. She was here, she was truly alive, stronger for it, and he failed her....He should have searched harder, he'd nearly given up hope, killing demons and when he could asking around for her, but not actively searching. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came, as her hand gripped the collar of his armor and pulled him down to her, slamming her lips against his in a way that only his Eida would. They'd never made it far in their love, nothing but a kiss, soft and sweet...This kiss, was different, this kiss was fueled by relief, as it was passion.

Without another thought, He wrapped his arms around her, lifting her from the ground in a tight embrace, as he kissed her with the same vehemence as she had. It was all he could not to lay her in the grass right then and there, but he wouldn't, couldn't for many reasons, one of them being they weren't alone, even if the world seemed to fall away. He broke the kiss, though he still held her in his arms, her feet dangling. "It is truly me, Day Girl, as it is truly you." he said, wonder in his voice, before he set her down. "I searched for you, I found nothing, I should searched harder....Forgive me." He told her, looking into her paint smeared eyes. He knew the denial of the apology was coming so he waited for it with a soft smile. She never liked his formalities, but she seemed to find it as charming as it had been annoying. "You've taken to paint, My Day Girl..." He chuckled softly, brushing a hair from her face to get a better look "By the Four, I missed you...".

Eida felt a deep heat settle on her cheeks as Mycah's arms slipped around her body, hoisting her up so that she was pressed harder against his armour. She'd been waiting so long to feel his embrace and the overwhelming warmth that he gave off, and perhaps even longer to feel his lips and taste his kiss. Nothing else mattered to her in that moment; not the state of the world they found themselves in, the people that surrounded them as they embraced each other with such passion, and most certainly not the boundaries that had once prevented them from exploring their relationship further than gentle kisses and soft touches. And as Mycah pulled away, she felt herself wanting to pull him back towards her. She was not ready to be done with this embrace, and was grateful that he had not set her down just yet. She felt secure against him, even as he feet dangled off the ground. "It is truly me, Day Girl, as it is truly you," he spoke, and she didn't protest too much as she felt the hard ground against her boots simply because being called 'Day Girl' after so long made her heart melt.

"I searched for you, I found nothing, I should have searched harder... Forgive me," Mycah continued, and despite herself she suddenly felt guilty, though there was a soft smile on her lips. She reached a hand forward and brushed a thumb against his jaw before cupping his cheek. "You've taken to paint, My Day Girl..." he continued, and her eyes closed as she felt stray hairs being brushed from her face, only to meet his gaze once more. "By the Four, I missed you..." Eida's smile widened considerably, and she let her hands fall to his armoured chest. She knew he felt bad, as if it was his own fault that he could not find her, when in fact she had intentionally made herself impossible to find. No doubt her family had learned of her power shortly after she fled, and she feared that - if any of them survived long enough to find her - they might attempt to take advantage of those powers as a way to battle her brother. She intended to kill him regardless, but she didn't wish to feel that she was being made to. If she killed Alec... When she killed Alec, she wanted it to be of her own free will.

"You needn't apologise to me, my Mycah," she finally replied, her voice firm despite the soft expression she wore. "I'm just glad that you're here now, holding me in your arms, and this time I will not leave you behind..." She seemingly shuddered at the memory of the time she had chosen to leave Parkwood, and subsequently Mycah. It was too difficult for her to live with those people she once considered her family. Her brother betrayed her in ways she never imagined he would, her parents were fighting the rest of the family, and then there was the Incubi... The memory made her feel sick, and she was sure it showed on her expression, if only for a moment before strength and determination took over. She was no longer a weak young girl, she was a seasoned warrior... A survivor. "Mycah, tell me... Are you travelling with anyone else? What do you know of my family?" she asked.

"You needn't apologise to me, my Mycah," she told him, and he could only smile tight lipped."I'm just glad that you're here now, holding me in your arms, and this time I will not leave you behind..." she told him and he looked away. She seemed to think she left him. He left her to fight with Lord Thomas, to seek vengeance on the wretch that took hurt his Day Girl, ravaged her body in way that boiled his blood to think about even now. It all was for naught. Mycah saw the shivers that shook her body, and his rose his hands to her shoulders, as if to say he was here and she was safe. That she would be. He'd die before he let anything happened to her now. Her face screwed up a bit, as if something foul crossed her thoughts but she seemed to shake it. Turning her gaze to him. "Mycah, tell me... Are you travelling with anyone else? What do you know of my family?" She asked and Mycah swallowed.

"I know of very little, I know not what came of the Fae Queen, not truly, though I've heard rumors that she yet live, her brother...your great uncle....my master....He did not survive...." He said, and it hurt to say, even now, it hurt. "But, Your uncle, the Prince, he yet lives, he leads an attack force, to reclaim a village inhabited by demons, your cousin ,the new Dragon King, he lives as well, he accompanies the Fae Prince as we speak. I will take you to them." He said and he wished he had more good news but he was only just reunited with the group so he really didn't know what became of the others. He'd heard the Faery Queen's screams for her brother, and that was when he took off. He was a coward then, he should have burned with him, that was what a squire and ward was supposed to do, where it not for his mission to find Eida, he would have or at least he hoped he would have. "I've only just met with them, I was on my own for quite some time, the winds were in my favor this day it seems." He said with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.
