Mycah has changed a great deal since the last anyone saw him. He'd joined the war with the Demons along side his master, Thomas Vincent, who'd taken him in when he was young, and saved him from the fighting pit in the Dragon realm. It was after they lost as his master was killed that Mycah retreated into himself. He went off, once the war was lost, and focused on his training, hiding his emotions. He is quite, stand-offish, but still has a soft spot for women and children. There are moments where the old Mycah appears, in a joke or a laugh, but he's never stays long.

The enemy did not see him coming. He moved, like a shadow through the small camp that sat on the outskirts of the village that's occupied. They did not yet know that the village had been retaken by a single man, armed with other a single Kukri in the dead of night. Of course they didn't, there was no one left to tell the tale.

Here, there were demons, and fae, fae women used as sex slaves for the vanguard. They would move on Simon's camp in the days to follow.

Or so they thought.

Camouflaging his skin, he blended in with his surroundings, walking into the camp without so much as a glance in his direction. He eyed them all, counting his soon to be opponents. He would fight them all one by one.

Until he heard it. A shrill shriek, that of a woman and the guffawing of men.

He found a small band of demons, they surrounded a faery girl with white hair , her clothes had been shredded, though she clung to them as it it were life itself. She whimpered, her tears sparkled in the light. She was Seelie just like his master.

Calling forth his dragon form, the large black and red scaled beast rose into the a, flapping it's massive wings, kicking up dust and debris, knocking of tents and other things. The demons didn't know what was happening as they looked around, thinking it was a freak wind storm.
The beast landed with a hard thud in the middle of the ring of demons, half curling itself around the fae girl, then went perfectly still. The demon's looked at the Fae girl, whose own eyes could see the beast while the others could not. The beast shook it's large head, and the girls ducked.

The demon's looked among themselves before they shrugged and moved toward the poor girl. The faery knew she was safe.

The Beast then with a shift of it's dark scales revealed itself, making the demons all jump back in horror. The beast wasted no time, letting loose a blast of fire from it's giant maw, burning all of the demons that attacked the poor fae girl in a fiery rage. It didn't take long for the whole camp to come running.

The beast looked at the Fae girl, who understood his language and she ran of behind him, finding all of the fae women that were there and running east where Simon's camp was. the Fae girl would then let Simon know that the village had been reclaimed the nights prior and the camp was burnt to the ground.

While the beast looked on at his opponents. He wasn't going to fight them all, he probably could and win but he wanted to safe his strength, for the coming battle, This...was -for lack of a better term- a warm up.

His master would have laughed at the pun.
Image

The demon's through spears and fired arrows and a few stuck in between his scales while the others bounced off like a ball off a wall. Once he was sure the women were gone, the beast roared, showering the demons in flame, their tents, all of their weapons either melted or burned, along with intel they might have had Simon's movements.

They all crumpled in burned, it took the entire night, but nothing was left but ashes.

The beast was exhausted by then, with the spears and arrows in him, he couldn't returned to human form yet, so he would rest, in this form until Simon and his men arrived.

"He's this way, just up ahead," Sive informed Simon, before trotting on ahead to show them the way. He couldn't help but smile at her for it, but quickly diverted his attention to the human girl, Sashi, was standing much closer to him. He didn't mind much; she probably didn't feel as safe around the soldiers, and Simon had already vowed to protect her so it only made sense for her to hover around him a little more. While he looked down at her, however, she seemed a little more concerned with her sister's wellbeing, and as Simon's eyes found the red-haired girl, he took note of a small amount of blood on her back. He sucked his teeth quietly, and thought for a moment about insisting that she should receive medical attention, but figured he would wait until after the village was secured. The girl seemed intent on marching forward, anyhow. "It won't be long now, about a few hours walk, and you'll smell the smoke," Sive continued, and Simon nodded with a smile, despite having mixed feelings about having to walk for another few hours.

As the group walked on, Simon could occasionally feel eyes on him, and every now and then, his gentle gaze would make contact with Sashi. Almost without noticing, he slowed his pace down ever so slightly - only for a moment - in order to walk directly by her side, though the three still remained at the forefront of the group.

Just as Sive had promised, the faint smell of smoke became apparent to Simon, causing his nose to crinkle slightly. He stopped suddenly, holding up a hand, before turning to the rest of the soldiers. "Aedion, take your assigned soldiers and scout for the village, it should be close by," he ordered, before gesturing to his own four soldiers and Andrew, and continuing on. While he would understand if Sive still attempted to show him the way, Simon didn't need a whole lot of direction by that point; the smoke and heat were leading him towards the camp well enough on their own.

A short while later, they found the remains of what should have been the army encampment, but instead found only ruin. And in the centre of it all lay a large, black dragon. Out of surprise, Simon hesitated only for a moment, before he started forward, taking note of the spears that had been caught between his scales. He had no fear in approaching the dragon, despite his species he was still a weaker being, and would be far too injured to attack even if the intent was there. While his men surrounding the dragon and mimicked their prince, Simon assisted in the effort by wrapping both hands around one of the spears, grunting with the effort it took to remove it. Once the last spear was removed, all of the soldiers stood back, allowing the dragon some room.

"Are you well enough to shift, boy?" Simon asked, having moved around to face the dragon directly, hoping by this point that Andrew will have taken a place by his side. "Or at least talk? I'd like to know your name."

The large beast rose it's massive head as a group of men approached. It immediately recognized the fae at the head of the group and set his head down, in a bit of a huff. He didn't know him, it seemed, the beast thought it funny. Oddly, he noticed two little creatures, one was fae, without a doubt, but the other little one, she was human. She could barely take her eyes off of him, and when she did they went back to the young Prince.
Image
The beast looked at her for a moment before turning his gaze, he then noticed the Dragon Prince, The creature didn't move as his soldiers surrounded him. The Fae at the head, seized the spears between his scales and pulled. The beast growled startling the poor girl, he didn't mean to but that hurt. Soon enough the men all freed the spears, and the beast fought hard not to growl a second time.
They all then gave the beast wide berth, except the Fae Prince.

"Are you well enough to shift, boy?" The Fae Prince asked and it was then that the beast took notice of another dragon at his side "Or at least talk? I'd like to know your name." He asked and the beast rose, he towered over the group, he shook his giant head, before finally in a plume of swirling smoke, it disappeared and it's place, stood a young man, sharp eyes, olive skin and long dark hair, still dressed in his armor and at his side his weapons. He looked up at the Fae Prince.

"It is I, Mycah Youngfire, of the Youngfire Clan, First of my name and Ward of the Great Dryad Dragon Thomas of the Vincent Clan, " He said, with much less enthusiasm then he had once a lifetime ago. "You're Uncle." He told Simon. He looked to the Dragon Prince, and freed his Kukri, and presented it to him. "Forgive my failure, Prince Andrew, I should have been there with your father that day, I will avenge him, this I vow upon my blade." He said, and with his head lowered, he rose his blade in both hands. "I pledge you my blade, my life, until your enemies fall, Dragon King." He told him, and he felt something, and turned sharply.

"Forgive the breech in protocol, You're Grace, but we've company." He said and rose from his kneeling position and turned toward the village. He gripped the hilt of his blade, and it was at the moment the small red haired girl did the same. "Demons." She said and the Mycah looked at her with a curious gaze. "Aye, Can you fight, Little one."

"Watch me!" She said and the speed with which the pixie ran was hard to follow. He didn't know where the blades came from but she flung them with expert precision, each hitting their respective targets.

"Sashi, Hide!" She called back, and Mycah turned to the human girl, who looked from him, and then to Simon as if she were waiting for him to speak. Mycah himself, prepared to shift but would what for orders, unlike the Pixie, who wasted no time.

Simon, much unlike his soldiers, wassn't entirely phased by the dragon's sudden movements, even as he lifted his head and towered over them, casting a shadow down on the prince, but only for a moment before a plume of black smoke revealed a familiar young man. He had met this boy before, during the war... So much had happened in the past year that Simon could barely remember his name, let alone his story.

"It is I, Mycah Youngfire, of the Youngfire Clan, First of my name and Ward of the Great Dryad Dragon Thomas of the Vincent Clan," the boy began, and Simon stood in a state of total bewilderment. "Your uncle," Mycah added, to which the Prince replied with silence and stares. Of course... That's where he knew the boy; he had come to the human realm with Tommy just before the war truly broke out. He remembered that the young dragon had been close with his niece, Eida, before she disappeared. It was any wonder that he managed to survive the merging of the realms.

As Mycah began pledging his loyalties to Andrew, Simon stepped back a bit, allowing them some room. Andrew was technically his equal in stature, and while Simon remained the rebellion's temporary leader and later its second-in-command, the two held a decent level of respect for each other. It was not in Simon's nature to wish that every new member of the rebellion should pledge their loyalty specifically to him.

His train of thought was interrupted as Mycah spoke to him once more. "Forgive the breech in protocol, your Grace, but we've got company." Simon gave a gentle huff, and as the two newer additions to the rebellion began exchanging words, he instead turned his attention to Sashi, who was beyond helpless in such a situation. His soldiers, of which there were very few, were all more focused on battling the oncoming demons, and had left her on her own. So, as she looked up at him, he felt more of an obligation to protect her than to fight.

Simon moved forward swiftly, lifting his arms with his hands held out, fingers splayed. With a hiss of effort, Simon drew the darkness of the forests around them, and by rotating his wrists, he wrapped it around the human girl, forming a protective cocoon wide enough that she wouldn't have to touch the shadows, but she couldn't exactly go for a wander. The shadows were thick enough that they could protect her from harm, but not so thick that she was completely blind within them. He stepped closer to the bubble, placing his hand over it so that he could talk directly to her. "Do not panic, you're safe in here," he informed her, before promptly turning, his attention now on the demons.

Simon's eyes found Mycah, who appeared to be awaiting orders. None of his other soldiers had done the same; he didn't think he had to tell them when they should fight, especially when a demonic horde was threatening their lives. "Mycah," he called, "do something!" It was in this moment that one of his soldiers slumped to the floor, dead, and Simon's jaw clenched, his feet carrying him forward before he even had a chance to think about what he would die.

Placing himself in the dead centre of the action, Simon drew his sword, and dealt with each opponent as they came. He reflected on how well his training had paid off as she slashed, stabbed and otherwise bludgeoned any demon that came before him. He fought mostly with his word, but when that wasn't working quick enough, he dropped it and instead focused on the manipulation of shadows; they were fastered, and more effective in slicing through his opponents. Although such talents required more arm and leg movements, and subsequently more effort, on his part. It was perhaps most comparable to a form of martial arts, but he seldom came into contact with his enemies directly. He required his entire body to twist and shape the darkness to his will, and while his movements were rather smooth, the shadows were viscious and unrelenting.

He became so wrapped up in fighting that he hadn't thought to look up and check if Sashi was still protected by her cocoon of shadows, and with that thought came the sudden urge to do so. In that brief moment that he looked up, his eyes meeting the shadowy bubble, he diverted his focus enough for an approaching demon to gain an advantage on him. He suddenly felt a cold arm slipped around his throat, pulling him backwards, but before the foul creature could apply a choke, Slade shifted his weight, turning and slamming an elbow into its face, sending it sideways only for a moment; it was quick to recover. Simon had dropped his blade long ago, and had used up a lot of his energy manipulating the shadows as he had, but still he fought on, this time with his fists. As the demon came at him again, Simon ducked down, pressing a shoulder into its stomach whilst his hands gripped the back of the knees, using his weight to flip the demon onto its back, by which point he slipped a smaller knife from his hip and plunged it into the creature's throat.

Simon sat like that for a moment, a little out of breath, as his eyes shifted around. Three of his four soldiers still stood, as well as Mycah and Sive, whom had both fought incredibly well. As far as he could tell, that was the last of the demons, and after exhaling deeply, Simon stood. He moved instantly towards Sashi, his arm extending outwards which caused the shadows to disappear. He allowed himself a moment to look her over, as if checking that he had not attempted to touch the shadows, and once he was satisfied that she was okay, he turned his attention back to the others. "Catch your breath now," he said, "because we're leaving to check the village shortly."

[center][font=Cambria]Aphylla, much to her word, kept a far distance from the group, she could still her them and had fireflies follow them and lead her as if they were breadcrumbs. Whilst the forest was dangerous at night, Aphylla knew it pretty well and was fairly certain none of the creatures in it would harm her. She simply followed along, picking many herbs, fungi and even a couple of flowers, all of which would prove beneficial for Sarani. She released a sigh as it began to feel like she'd been walking forever but then the fireflies all sped away, dimming their lights as if to hide from something. Aphylla quickly closed the space between her back and a nearby tree, removing her glamour she blended in with the bark of the tree, it was then she heard Simon calling for her to help but as she tried her best to hide, a group of Demons walked past her, armed to the teeth and stinking of sulphur. Aphylla could feel herself trembling, causing her to clench closer against the tree.

They seemed to be trailing Simon and the others, scouting what they were doing, as they crept on, Aphylla climbed the tree, up into the canopy above it and started to follow the demons, the branches acting as walkways for her. She managed to keep a low profile in the trees above the demons until they came to the edge of the village and turned to walk away, she knew they were going back to inform somebody of the fae so she grabbed a pouch of salt from her bag and sprinkled it in a circular motion, entrapping the demons in a circle of salt so small they wouldn't even be able to see why they wouldn't move. Aphylla then dropped down from the canopy of leaves and teased the demons by blowing a kiss at them, before manipulating the roots of the surrounding trees to form a cage around the demons. With the demons encased in 2 layers of imprisonment she ran off in the direction of the village, she'd have to warn Aedion and the others.

Running into the village, she called for him and the rest of the men, "Guys!" She whisper shouted. "We've been followed, there's demons just on the outskirts of the village." She spotted a steel sword lying on the ground next to her and she promptly picked it up, whilst she was no fighter, she could at least look as of she was ready to fight back.

ImageThe slight delay with the pixie and the human was short lived. They had obviously been looking for Simon and now that they had found them, they felt as though they were in his debt. Andrew thought it was interesting how formal they were once they figured out he was the long lost prince. Sive even decided to fight by his side. The human has also vowed her life to him. It made sense though. Simon had saved Sashi’s life. But to walk into battle with them was not a smart idea. She was more fragile than the others. The siblings fought about the idea for a moment and it was clear that Sashi had won that battle.

The group trudged on with two new editions. It was not long before Andrew could smell smoke. Sive continued to lead them, but their was no need. The smoke was now visible and had a strong scent. "Aedion, take your assigned soldiers and scout for the village, it should be close by," Andrew followed his cousin into the encampment. He took in his surroundings, astonished by the how destroyed this once safe haven was. Andrew finally took notice of the giant dragon in the middle of the village. He recognized him immediately. Each dragon has their own distinct shape and this was Mycah.

The dragon shifted into his human form and Andrew took a step up from behind Simon. "Forgive my failure, Prince Andrew, I should have been there with your father that day, I will avenge him, this I vow upon my blade." Andrew dropped his head a little at the thought of his deceased father. He was going to tell him that everything was fine and there was no need for formalities. Like his cousin, he did not enjoy it. But Mycah dropped to his knee and raised his weapon. "I pledge you my blade, my life, until your enemies fall, Dragon King." King? That was new. Andrew was going to say something but he got a strange feeling.

"Forgive the breech in protocol, You're Grace, but we've company." Andrew grabbed the hilt of his sword, ready to fight whoever was about to attack. "Demons." That was going to be fun. Everyone started fighting and Andrew pulled his sword from his belt. He swung left and right, trying to keep the demons from getting a hand on him. They managed to get rid of the enemies that were an immediate threat.

"Catch your breath now because we're leaving to check the village shortly." Andrew nodded and returned the sword to his hip.

ImageMycah had been awaiting orders from his new King but instead, he received them from the leader of the rebellion. "Mycah," he called, Mycah turned as the demons came closer. "do something!" He ordered and Mycah sighed. A prince was still a prince, he figured and an order was an order. Taking a running start, he headed straight for the biggest one he could find, a large purple skinned demon, with a maw like a horse, and black tongue of a snake. He launched himself from the ground like an arrow, feet first. His heels struck true, knocking the demon down flat on his back. Mycah wasted no time, twirling his Kurki in his hand, and slammed it down hard in the chest of the beast. The demon roared, before knocking Mycah from his chest. Mycah recovered on a knee, his eyes went straight to the blade in the beasts chest so he darted forward again, the demon lunging at him, only for Mycah to leap up and over the beast, landing on a foot and sending the other into it's back, one after another, a flurry of kicks, knocked the beast forward before the final kick spun him around. Light speed, Mycah reached, grabbed the hilt of his blade and pulling it free, black blood spinning around him in obsidian ribbons. The beast roared, and Mycah moved in against, stabbing backhanded into the beasts chest, one two three fours times before spinning front and sending his blade two fisted up and into the creatures jaw and through to it's skull. The beast crumbled down to it's knees and and falling forward. Mycah crouched down to free his kurki and there was the unmistakable sound of a blade flying close to his head, and hitting a target behind him. He looked up to see the red headed pixie, grinning proudly at the falling demon behind him, a small blade in it's eye. Mycah nodded and the pixie giggled before taking off.
Mycah freed his dagger before moving to kill the other demons that thought them an easy target. Soon enough the battle was decided and the rebellion was the victory.

"Catch your breath now,"Prince Simon said, "because we're leaving to check the village shortly." Mycah nodded and cleaned his blade on his leg.

He looked around the soldiers then, apart of him had hoped that she was with them but the other part was relived. It pained him to think but perhaps she perished, resting peacefully with the Four. The War worried her more than most, with any luck she never saw it. He hoped it was swift her end. He'd been searching for her, before Lord Thomas' death, and had just resumed his search. He had to admit that losing Lord Thomas put him in a dark place, a place he dare not lead her so he stopped looking. He didn't want her to see him so weak, so sad, and broken. The guilt weigh on him still.

"You were amazing." the pixie said, coming up to him with a wide grin. Mycah merely nodded." You fought well, Little one."

"Sive."

"Mycah."

"Thanks, for ya'know saving me and my sister." She looked back at the wide eyed girl, being helped by the Prince.

"No need," he said and paused. "You are with the rebellion?" He asked and Sive smiled proudly. "Yep!"

"Do you know of a woman named Eida?"

Sive frowned,. "Sorry, no." She told him. "I just joined a little bit ago," She admitted and he sighed. "That's fine." He said and put it out of his mind. They had the village to check, and surely there were more than that.

"Prince Simon, I shall scout ahead." He yelled and gestured for Sive to back away some. He took dragon form and lifted high into the sky, his mind on Eida, her smile, the way she felt riding on his back, petting his scales. What he wouldn't give to see her again, what he would do if he did.

Sashi wasn't prepared for a battle, she didn't see the demons coming, and suddenly they were on them. She wasn't sure what to do, Sive told her to hide, but she had no where to go, there was nothing but the forest and she knew better than to run into there, with the creatures that dwell within. She looked over at the Prince, his blade free, prepared to slay the demons, but then his eyes found hers, and concerned darkened them. He waved his hand, and suddenly darkness swirled around her, encasing her inside like a music box. She didn't know what was happening and she felt her breathing quicken. She looked up at him, the world slightly darker around her as he approached and placed a hand to the shadow box.

"Do not panic, you're safe in here," She heard his voice loud and clear, so she nodded before he dashed off. Sashi's eyes never left his, as he moved around the battle, graceful and dangerous, like a sword dancer, black blood spun in the air from his blade and all she could do was stare.

Soon the battle was over, and with a wave of his hand, the shadows slide away, and she was able to see in full color once again. His eyes scanned her, checking for injury and when he was satisfied he went gave his orders again. She moved over to him. "Are you injured at all, my lord?" She asked, with a frown creasing her brow. He'd been so worried for her, but he could have just as easily been injured himself. "Need ye water? or or..." She stopped, She felt useless, Sive was right, she was just in the way. It was in that moment that the dragon, called Mycah shouted that he'd be scouting ahead and Sashi sighed.

"Did you see that, Sash?" Sive cried as she came running over and wrapping her arms around her. Sashi looked at her with wide eyes. "I fought demons, I killed them." She said. "And even saved a Dragon." She said, putting her hands on her hips and raising her head proudly. "Well done, Sister, You fought well." She said but her smile didn't reach her eyes. At least Sive was making good on her word, what good was her life to the Prince if she was useless?

"Are you injured at all, my lord?" Sashi piped up, causing Simon to turn his attention back to her once again, a soft smile settling on his lips at her concern for his wellbeing. There was a frown weighin on her features but it was endearing. "Need ye' water? Or, or..." she continued, but seemed to stop herself, presumably out of frustration. Simon knew exactly what was wrong; the young human felt useless, surrounded by individuals who all had a purpose while she could not find hers. It was in this moment that Mycah called over. "Prince Simon, I shall scout ahead." Simon held up a hand and nodded, as if gesturing that he understood and approved of such actions. He called back a 'thank you' before Mycah shifted and took flight.

Simon could still feel Sashi's presence by his side. He felt sympathetic for her, because even he could think of nothing for her to do. Part of him thought it might make her feel better if he took a drink of water, but before he could ask for it, her elder sister approached from behind and began a conversation. Simon could barely take his eyes off Sashi, but stepped back regardless to allow them some room. Sive fought well, he knew, and had every reason to be happy, but Sashi seemed dejected. Still, he gave congratulations where congratulations were due.

"Well done, Sive," he said, smiling. "You took down more of them than I did, I think I've got some competition here." It was then that he placed a hand on Sashi's shoulder briefly, smiling down at her as if to reassure her that he did not share her thoughts of herself. She may not have a purpose just yet, but she had been a member of the rebellion for all of five minutes, and she would find one soon enough. She was neither useless nor a hindrance in his mind. "You could check if the other soldiers need water, if you'd like. I'm sure they'd appreciate it."

Image"Is that so?"Daoine cocked her head, a wolfish grin spreading across her face. His sexual aura spiked and it filled her quickly. "You have business here?" He asked and she cut her eyes in the direction of the bedroom he'd seemed to exit from. "The Queen is... indecent, as it were." To that, Daoine snorted. "If she wasn't such a cunt that would be interest me, but alas." She said and rose her hands, as if she shrugged. "You however," She said and looked him up and down, unabashed. "I'd take you on." She said, before straightening her head some. "But no, I don't have business here, I'm just bored, I've killed all the demon, I gather I was supposed to train or train me, I don't know. "She said, rolling her eyes. "Whatever excuse she gave to have me killed." She said, and twirled her sais, "I don't think she likes me much." She said with a giggle.

"Well done, Sive," Prince Simon said and Sashi looked at her sister. "You took down more of them than I did, I think I've got some competition here." He said and Sive nudged her with a proud grin. Sashi smiled at her sister, she was proud of her, she was but she wished she felt as useless, even without her wings, Sive could assist. The Prince set his hand on her shoulder, with a smile, as if he read her thoughts. "You could check if the other soldiers need water, if you'd like. I'm sure they'd appreciate it." He said and she smiled. "Aye, You're Grace." She said, and found herself wondering where she'd find some water, but Sive had a pouch at her side, so after she handed it to her, and Sashi made her way around, offering water to the others. She smiled as she brought the water to them all, a few took it, a few didn't, so when finally, she made her way back to the Prince, she offered him some only to find there wasn't any more "I'm sorry, You're Grace, we haven't anymore...." She said, dropping her head. She felt so useless. "Is there something else, I could do, I thought I heard water in the woods, I could clean the weapons, I know how to do that." She told him, a little more eager then she would have liked. "Anything I could do to help."

Mycah flew high in the sky, his keen eyes and ears, watching and listening to the ground below him. He could hear Demon's skittering about, but in short groups, hiding in the woods. Image
It wasn't an army or an attack force so he didn't worry. It was then that his mind wondered, as it always had when he was flying this high. He saw her face, her smile, the way her hands felt brushing softly against his scales. Where he was ashamed on his dragon form once, she saw beauty in it, she didn't fear it, she didn't fear him and he loved her for it. He loved her for so many this.

His mind then drifted to the faithful day where he had to choose, between her and his master. His master made his choice for him in all honesty.

He and Lord Thomas stood at the edge of the mountain in the demon realm, over looking the large citadel with which the Demon Queen and her ilk were held up.Ash fell down like snow, the wind whipping the smell of burning bodies around them. Mycah looked at his lord, he could see it in his eyes that the chances of them surviving this were slim. "Mycah, I'm going to need you to do something for me."
"Anything, My Lord." Image
"I need you to find Eida for me..."
Mycah frowned. He knew what this was. A Final Request. "My Lord, You needn't bite your tongue, You are going to survive this, we both are. I stood by you this whole time, I can not leave you now" He told him, and Lord Thomas looked at him, a smirk on his face. "Mycah, Do you love her."
That gave Mycah paused, why was he doing this now? "Yes, but--"
"Then find her, she's out there somewhere, alone and---"
"Please, do not say scared, she would kill us both."
"Without family." Lord Thomas corrected and Mycah swallowed. "Bring her to hotel, where we'll all be waiting for her and you." Lord Thomas gave a smile and Mycah looked down at his feet, he felt tears for the firs time in his life, pressure behind his eyes. "A-As you wish, My lord." he said, his voice breaking and before he knew it, he felt firm arms around him. Mycah forced himself not to cry, but it was hard, he felt himself raising his arms around his master, and holding tight. He was the only father he ever known, he taught him how to become a man, a good one, he owed his very sense of self to Lord Thomas.

"You're a good kid, Mycah, a good man, I am so proud of you...don't ever forget that..." Lord Thomas whispered, against the top his head, and Mycah found with his bottom lip. "Please, Let me go with you." Mycah chocked, feeling much like a child then, looking up at his father, tears glossing his dark eyes, as Lord Thomas pulled away, his hands on his shoulders.

Thomas touched his face with a smirk. "Find Eida for me. Please." He said, and Mycah dropped his head, before after a long moment, he nodded. "I will find her, and bring her to you." He said. "But you must promise--you'll be there waiting for us." He said, sniffing every so often. "I'll try, my word as a Fae." He said and it crushed Mycah that he could not promise him that, for the fact that he knew it would be a lie.

Mycah started walking, with the intention of not looking back, but he did, he cast a single glance back the man that had been like his father and he turned back, ran to him and embraced him tightly. Lord Thomas chuckled softly, hugging him once again. "I love you too, Kiddo." He said, knowing Mycah couldn't bring himself to say but the embrace did it for him.

With that, Mycah nodded, only once, before taking off in the other direction, keeping his thoughts on Eida, so not to lose his resolve, knowing full well, it was likely the last time he was ever going to see him again.

Thankfully, Mycah couldn't cry in Dragon form, it was the only time he even allowed himself those thoughts. It was then that he caught an all too familiar scent.

Impossible He thought, as his eyes scanned the forest, He turned, circling the forest, the canopy of trees could not allow for him to see, so he listened, there were two others, with a sweet voice, there was a smile in the tone, he knew it well, he'd tried his damnedest to put one there. "I hope you can forgive his behaviour, and understand that he's only looking out for me... He doesn't trust you yet."

Mycah found a clearing for him to land, unable to land in front of them for the forest. Surely he'd been seen, or so he hoped, as he shifted into his human form, warpaint and armored, he knew he'd be recognized regardless. His heart raced, as he navigated through the forest for the voice, it didn't take him long to find them.

There were two males, one was an Elf, his ears the giveaway, and a demon, but his eyes and mind were only on the female, the one who'd encompassed every thought, every breath, the one who gave him a reason to keep living after losing the only other person that gave his life purpose. He finally found her, nearly year, he finally found her, his morning sun, his moon and stars, his demon princess, his Day girl, His...

"Eida..."

Before she could continue talking, or even await a response from the Dark Elf she had only just been conversing with, a large mass in the sky cast shadows over them for only a moment, causing Eida and Lemlihr to stop, their eyes shifting upwards to the sky. What she saw could have damn near knocked the wind straight out of her, and she stood almost perfectly still until it disappeared beyond the cover of the trees. "A dragon..." she whispered, her eyes finding Lemlihr, who had pulled his daggers away from his hips as if he thought he could actually take the creature on with them. Eida merely stood in complete wonderment for the longest time, a sadness in her eyes as she recalled memories of Mycah... She loved his dragon form so much, he was powerful and handsome and, most importantly, hers. As she began walking forward, she swallowed the memories and drew back the tears that threatened to fall, her fingers curling into her palms.

After only a short while, Eida saw a dark figure moving through the woods, towards them. With one hand hovering over her blade and Lemlihr falling to her side, she strode with confidence, up until the male's features became more visible to her. She traced them with her pale eyes, her feet unwilling to carry her any further as she came to a sudden halt. She took note of his long brown hair, his olive complexion... those dark eyes that seemed all to familiar to her, and the dark paint that surrounded them. He seemed to be observing her too, and suddenly, it was if Lemlihr and Alaion weren't with her. It was only herself and this boy, this strangely familiar boy that seemed so taken aback by her presence.

"Eida..." he said suddenly, and in response, her eyes widened. It was as if something finally clicked within her mind and she recognised him for who he was; her dragon, her love... her Mycah. She was trembling suddenly as a million different thoughts ran through her head, all fighting for the chance to be at the forefront of her focus. She thought he was dead, that he had lost his life in the war along with the larger majority of the fae. No one had told her otherwise, simply because she had left before the war ended, before the realms were merged and the fae were enslaved. After that horrible night... she couldn't even bring herself to shudder at the memory, because she was too busy staring in silence at her love. Then came the most horrible thought of them all... Is he real? A ghost? A figment of my imagination?

Eida stepped forward slowly, almost cautiously as if she thought he might blow away in the wind, and made her way over to Mycah. If this was truly him, it would have been a year since she felt his skin beneath her fingers, his lips upon hers and the heat of his body pressing against her own. She had managed to supress her cravings for Lemlihr's sake but if he was real, she wouldn't have to. She could hold him again, and she would never let him go as she had done a year ago... She hesitantly lifted a hand to his jaw, brushing against his skin and releasing a shaky breath as her fingers touched solid flesh, her light eyes finding his dark ones. "It's truly you," she whispered, "My love... My Mycah." She took a moment to look him over, before her free hand shot up to his torso, grabbing hold of the fabric of his shirt and pulling her to him, her lips slamming against his and her jaw instantly trying to work for a deep and desperate kiss.

As she approached, this vision, this apparition sent from the Four torment him, Mycah could only watch. She looked much the same though she wore paint too, much like he had. He remembered once, long ago, how he explained his paint, why he wore it, and what it meant. Everything about him seemed to amuse her when those very things once caused him shame. She wore paint too. Was it in memory of him? Had she thought he died. He could honestly say he thought the same. He hadn't been himself since Lord Thomas died, and where it not for his mission he would have taken his own life. She was the only thing keeping him attached to this world.

....If this was really her. How he would lay awake, his thoughts swirling with images of her, what she could be doing now, what would have happened had they stayed on that mountain that day instead of returning home like he'd insisted, what became of her, if her death was swift and painless. She came to him, and all he could do was stare, waiting for the image to blow away like he had so many times in his most vivid dreams, instead, her hand rose up, and touched his face, and Mycah visibly flinched. "It's truly you," she whispered, taking his thoughts from his lips. His hand rose, shaking, with the intention of taking hers to make sure she was real. "My love... My Mycah." His own name caused him to blink. His name on her tongue. She was here, she was truly alive, stronger for it, and he failed her....He should have searched harder, he'd nearly given up hope, killing demons and when he could asking around for her, but not actively searching. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came, as her hand gripped the collar of his armor and pulled him down to her, slamming her lips against his in a way that only his Eida would. They'd never made it far in their love, nothing but a kiss, soft and sweet...This kiss, was different, this kiss was fueled by relief, as it was passion.

Without another thought, He wrapped his arms around her, lifting her from the ground in a tight embrace, as he kissed her with the same vehemence as she had. It was all he could not to lay her in the grass right then and there, but he wouldn't, couldn't for many reasons, one of them being they weren't alone, even if the world seemed to fall away. He broke the kiss, though he still held her in his arms, her feet dangling. "It is truly me, Day Girl, as it is truly you." he said, wonder in his voice, before he set her down. "I searched for you, I found nothing, I should searched harder....Forgive me." He told her, looking into her paint smeared eyes. He knew the denial of the apology was coming so he waited for it with a soft smile. She never liked his formalities, but she seemed to find it as charming as it had been annoying. "You've taken to paint, My Day Girl..." He chuckled softly, brushing a hair from her face to get a better look "By the Four, I missed you...".

Eida felt a deep heat settle on her cheeks as Mycah's arms slipped around her body, hoisting her up so that she was pressed harder against his armour. She'd been waiting so long to feel his embrace and the overwhelming warmth that he gave off, and perhaps even longer to feel his lips and taste his kiss. Nothing else mattered to her in that moment; not the state of the world they found themselves in, the people that surrounded them as they embraced each other with such passion, and most certainly not the boundaries that had once prevented them from exploring their relationship further than gentle kisses and soft touches. And as Mycah pulled away, she felt herself wanting to pull him back towards her. She was not ready to be done with this embrace, and was grateful that he had not set her down just yet. She felt secure against him, even as he feet dangled off the ground. "It is truly me, Day Girl, as it is truly you," he spoke, and she didn't protest too much as she felt the hard ground against her boots simply because being called 'Day Girl' after so long made her heart melt.

"I searched for you, I found nothing, I should have searched harder... Forgive me," Mycah continued, and despite herself she suddenly felt guilty, though there was a soft smile on her lips. She reached a hand forward and brushed a thumb against his jaw before cupping his cheek. "You've taken to paint, My Day Girl..." he continued, and her eyes closed as she felt stray hairs being brushed from her face, only to meet his gaze once more. "By the Four, I missed you..." Eida's smile widened considerably, and she let her hands fall to his armoured chest. She knew he felt bad, as if it was his own fault that he could not find her, when in fact she had intentionally made herself impossible to find. No doubt her family had learned of her power shortly after she fled, and she feared that - if any of them survived long enough to find her - they might attempt to take advantage of those powers as a way to battle her brother. She intended to kill him regardless, but she didn't wish to feel that she was being made to. If she killed Alec... When she killed Alec, she wanted it to be of her own free will.

"You needn't apologise to me, my Mycah," she finally replied, her voice firm despite the soft expression she wore. "I'm just glad that you're here now, holding me in your arms, and this time I will not leave you behind..." She seemingly shuddered at the memory of the time she had chosen to leave Parkwood, and subsequently Mycah. It was too difficult for her to live with those people she once considered her family. Her brother betrayed her in ways she never imagined he would, her parents were fighting the rest of the family, and then there was the Incubi... The memory made her feel sick, and she was sure it showed on her expression, if only for a moment before strength and determination took over. She was no longer a weak young girl, she was a seasoned warrior... A survivor. "Mycah, tell me... Are you travelling with anyone else? What do you know of my family?" she asked.

"You needn't apologise to me, my Mycah," she told him, and he could only smile tight lipped."I'm just glad that you're here now, holding me in your arms, and this time I will not leave you behind..." she told him and he looked away. She seemed to think she left him. He left her to fight with Lord Thomas, to seek vengeance on the wretch that took hurt his Day Girl, ravaged her body in way that boiled his blood to think about even now. It all was for naught. Mycah saw the shivers that shook her body, and his rose his hands to her shoulders, as if to say he was here and she was safe. That she would be. He'd die before he let anything happened to her now. Her face screwed up a bit, as if something foul crossed her thoughts but she seemed to shake it. Turning her gaze to him. "Mycah, tell me... Are you travelling with anyone else? What do you know of my family?" She asked and Mycah swallowed.

"I know of very little, I know not what came of the Fae Queen, not truly, though I've heard rumors that she yet live, her brother...your great uncle....my master....He did not survive...." He said, and it hurt to say, even now, it hurt. "But, Your uncle, the Prince, he yet lives, he leads an attack force, to reclaim a village inhabited by demons, your cousin ,the new Dragon King, he lives as well, he accompanies the Fae Prince as we speak. I will take you to them." He said and he wished he had more good news but he was only just reunited with the group so he really didn't know what became of the others. He'd heard the Faery Queen's screams for her brother, and that was when he took off. He was a coward then, he should have burned with him, that was what a squire and ward was supposed to do, where it not for his mission to find Eida, he would have or at least he hoped he would have. "I've only just met with them, I was on my own for quite some time, the winds were in my favor this day it seems." He said with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.
