"In the end you never can wash the blood from your hands."
-Amy Lee

Nickname:
Ell, Ellie, Els.

Elsie's eyes are a gray tone, they give a harsh chill to whoever
dares to stare upon them.

Her hair is blonde, and rather stale. It is a light color, but
appears to be dirty blonde.
Skin Tone:
Her skin is very pale, and rough.
Age:
Seventeen
FC(Face Claim):
Fanny Lindblad

Habits:
She tends to bite her lip when
something goes wrong, when
she is nervous, or when she is
'disciplining' herself.
Strengths:
Elsie is immune to insults, and
rarely cries. It takes a lot to
hurt her, both physically and
mentally. Elsie is also very bright,
it takes a lot to outsmart her.
She has good survival skills, and
has rather mastered the ability
to run.
Flaws:
Elsie is a perfectionist, and that gets in
the way very often. She also had
a rather nightmare of a past,
of which she chooses not to talk
about. If you get it out of her,
she will fall to pieces, and it will
take a long time to pull
her out of her depression.
She also is afraid of love.
Likes:
Elsie likes loneliness, and loves to
be alone. Darkness is also something
that Elsie appreciates, she fells like
it is her sanctuary. She likes to
blend into the shadows, and does
so very often.
Dislikes:
Elsie dislikes the concept of
love, she says it is idiotic.
But really, she just is
afraid of it, and like all
her other feelings, she pushes
it away. She also hates dogs,
being caught, talkative people,
crowds, and bright places.
Weaknesses
If you get on Elsie's sensitive side,
she is basically your puppet. You can
get her to do anything, and you
can blackmail her years later.
Quirks:
Elsie is a perfectionist,
and is a puppet once you
find out her past. She is
a flawed individual who
will and can never be fixed.

Elsie used to have a family. In fact, she had two twin brothers, who were four, an older sister who had gone missing, and both of her parents. They lived in a wooden house, in the middle of the forest. Her parents thought it better to live in the woods, because they would be more hidden, or so they hoped. When Elsie was younger, she used to be wonderful to have around. She would always make jokes, and her eyes even seemed to be brighter back then. But even though Elsie had a family, she seemed to be the one in charge. Her Mom was always in bed, sick as a dog. Her brothers were too young to take care of themselves, and her Dad was always taking care of her Mother, and he didn't do a very good job.
It all changed one night. It was snowing, the date was December 3rd, time was midnight. Everyone was sleeping but Elsie. She couldn't sleep, so she went outside to get some food... First, she heard a scream. She thought it was something else, because that was normal. Soon there was a yell. Then she heard a screech. Lastly, she heard a shriek, and Elsie couldn't help but worry.
That sounds familiar...
She had thought, glancing back at the direction of the shriek. Worried, Elsie dropped everything she was holding, and ran back to the house. All the lights were off. Elsie opened the door very slowly, a small creek sounding as she stepped inside. Taking small, silent steps, she crept into her brothers room. She gawked silently. She saw her brother, lying on the floor, slaughtered ever so horribly. She came into the room, to see a shadowy figure, with an arm wrapped around her other brothers waist. The figure silt the boys throat, and quickly slipped out of the window. Elsie watched it all happen, with tears dripping down from her eyes. Once she had pulled herself together, as much as she could, she ran for her parents room. As she expected, she saw their cold corpses strewn across the floor.
Elsie cried the rest of the night, she cried so much you would think she would have flooded the house. Once she grabbed ahold of herself, She started to blame herself...
"It was my fault, because I wasn't here to protect them...It was my task to keep this family safe. I've failed...I should die!"
She whispered those words over and over to herself for days, and she finally decided she wouldn't ever love, because she would fail again, and never forgive herself. Not only was it she was guilt-ridden over the situation of love, but also because she was just afraid. Now this scene has haunted her ever since, and there isn't one day it doesn't go through her head...

Elsie is a brick. She is seems cold and emotionless, and that's what she tries to be. Most would say she's pretty good at it, but some can see through it. She doesn't like to talk to people about 'feelings' but she does banter. Elsie is also an introvert, and loves to be alone. If you ask her why she likes to be alone, or how she could like darkness in such a world, this will always be her answer;
"Loneliness is my companion, Darkness my soul mate."
She won't answer any more of your questions, no matter how much you pound her. Elsie is also depressed a lot, but she tries to not show it for the curtsey of others. She also isn't one to open up to people, so good luck if you are trying to get stuff out of her. Bright lights are also a bother to her, she feels it is too revealing.
