Introduction

Image
Seven demons that represent the sins of humans get cast out of the king of Demons, after a rebellion to take over and destroy the king failed. The seven demons escape to the human realm, but their powers sealed away in seven different humans who reside in Tokyo, Japan as they escaped. Their power lost, they lose their demonic appearance and change forms. The once powerful demons change into humans.

The demons have to find their powers once again in order to survive the hunting demons after them by order of the demon king, and also to return back to the demon realm and take over once again.

The seven humans on the other hand, has noticed something about their bodies. A symbol has shown up on the left palm of their hand. They each represent a sin's power, and soon are put into danger by other enemy demons searching for the seven who escaped. Though they do not represent each sin, they have one power similar to their respective demons.

The demons, drawn to it soon find each respective human, but are unable to obtain their power back. The only way to receive their powers back is for the humans to unlock the seal with their own blood. When the human's blood reaches the seal, the demon change back to their original forms and can fight once again for a limited time.

Demons from the realm start to increase even more, and have begun targeting these humans. The demons have no choice but to protect them, until the seal can get broken, and their powers return to them completely.

Reme

Reme ran along the paths of Tokyo, her black skirt swishing at her knees, her white blouse puffing from the chill of the Tokyo morning. As usual, it was tied by a thin red ribbon, which seemed to threaten to come loose. Underneath, a wooden rosary was bumping against her chest, in steady thumps. In the demon's hands, were 2 bags, full of food, and her face held a mischievous grin, as she leaped off the path, onto the lowest branch of the tree, rapidly making her way up, somehow impossibly doing it with her hands full. Behind her, was a scowling man, who held, was that a frying pan?! He yelled a few words, which were probably not very nice, before giving up, seeing the girl already higher than he could reach.

As he turned away, Reme blew a raspberry, puffing up her cheeks, before settling on the branch, grabbing what seemed like a bun, and tearing the packet open, scattering crumbs, and catching the bun into her mouth.

As she swallowed the bun whole, she looked down, and frowned, peeling off her white gloves from her palms and stuffing it into her pocket, before continuing to eat the buns whole, ignoring everything else

If flying imps flew at you, how would a human respond? Scream? Yell? Maybe wet themselves. He certainly didn't know, after all this body was only human. His mind was hardly anything human like.

Unless thinking of how to murder everyone in this god-damn city was a normal thought, then yes Ikari was perfectly normal.

The red flying imps were flying toward him, who had decided to take a nap on a roof top. They flew in a pack of five, circling over him like vultures over a dead body. It was their unmistakable smell of sulfur that had awoken him, and naturally he was pissed. The imps cackled loudly, as the first flew down its trident held in front to make a stab at the former demon.

What a joke.

Ikari stepped to the side at the last minute, before giving a round house kick at the demon's head, though he did wince it pain as his foot collided with the skull. The imp, let out a cry before flying backwards, leaving the silver trident stuck into the roof of the building. He grabbed it, pulling it out right before the next one came. It charged down like the former one did, and he simply held out the trident, the pointed side up.

It flew right onto the pointed spikes, causing black blood to flow out from its body.

With a smirk, he watched as the demon turned to black ashes to signal it as dead. His red eyes locked onto the last three, as they all charged at once.

Without actually thinking about strategy, Ikari threw the weapon at the closest Imp, reducing it ash before jumping aside as the other two landed with the tridents in the roof. From behind him, the first one jumped at him. Stepping to the side again, he grabbed the tail as it flew by, before using the momentum to spin and release it toward the other Imps. They collided and lost their balance and fell in a pile.

"Pieces of shit..." Ikari growled out, as he walked towards the last remaining Imps.

He ripped a trident from the ground, and skewered it right into the top Imp's body. Before driving it through the second with a bit of effort.

Curse this body's strength.

As the first two's blood began to stain the once clean roof, the last remaining one had ran away. Or attempted, until his booted foot came down on its tail. It vainly tried to pull its tail free, but couldn't has Ikari moved his foot to make it dig into the ground more. Ikari lifted the trident, and thrusted the spear into the red demon's body.

With that done, he released the silver trident, as it begun to dissolve as the imp disappeared. A string of curses came from his lips as the Wrath demon turned. He had to get out of here now. The smell of blood would attract all sorts of demon here. He walked back the way he had came; He lifted himself over the edge, before letting himself drop onto a black fire escape stairs. He walked down easily, and landed in the ally between apartment buildings, before walking back, and blending into the hustle of Tokyo.

The faster he found that trash of a human with his powers, the faster he could get the fuck out of here.

Sakimura

It wasn't such a bad thing where they had been placed in, could have gotten worst and died instead but they had fleetingly managed to escape unscathed, or that's what Sakimura would have to assume for everyone else. He was fine to say the less, though the changes in his form is unsettling and troublesome in many ways. The one thing that really troubled him was his inability to use his innate ability the Dark Glut to its full potential, only able to conjure a very minuscule amount of concentrated matter to eat away at various things that he can hold in his hand. He hasn't come across anything edible and thus resorting to material consumption at the moment. Even at that, he couldn't keep at it for a longer time period as with the new form, he was rendered useless as an actually human.

He had been observing his new environment with much care and caution, taking in details of his whereabouts and concluded that he was far off from the main striving of human population, probably near the outskirts of Tokyo. Though nice as it was out here, he needed to be where the buzzing was the loudest, a much higher chance of him finding his host or hostess to his demon.

It was hard not to be a sore thumb in a crowd, but his unfortunate transformation as a human being brought with it heights that had its advantage and disadvantage. He could see past peoples head and see further than anyone else, the only problem is that anyone could clearly see him, meaning other demonic beings could spot him easily without any hesitation.

With a sigh, Sakimura began to take narrow passage ways or shadowed areas as a means for cover up at the moment before he knows he is fairly safe from any attackers and had enough idea on what he would do in the mean time being unable to eat freely as he used to.

Staring at herself in the mirror Starr would sigh as she ran her hand over the mark that appeared on her palm not that long ago. It didn't hurt but it was an eyesore that she rather people not question her on, so after she covered her grey and black dress with a knee-length coat that matched her black boots, she'd slide a pair of black gloves over her hands.
She was looking forward to school as always, but she wasn't looking forward to running into her parents on her way out, however she couldn't wait for them to leave first - she was already late.

"Sweetheart! Come, get some milk to drink an eat real quick before you leave!" her mother would say with a fake smile as Starr walked down the staircase and then into the Kitchen.
"Don't you think the girls had enough Milk in her life already?" her male assistant would joke, causing a creepy feeling to crawl up Starr's back. However instead of scowling she'd keep her facial expression passively pleasant, for the sake of her mother.

Completely oblivious to her daughters presence her mom would continue talking to her hanger-on friend, that is until Starr pulled out a Blueberry Muffin and some Chocolate syrup.

"Oh dear, do you want to get fatter? Here, eat a wheat roll. And leave that chocolate stuff out of your milk!"

Sighing Starr would take the roll and begin to wrap it in plastic like she was going to take it, but as soon as her mother an her perverted little assistant began to head towards the door Starr would toss the roll in the trash.

"You have a lovely day dear, your father is out of town on business until next Monday by the way."
Starr would say nothing in response.

The second the door closed relief washed over her and she'd squirt several tablespoons of chocolate sauce into her milk before twisting her mug's cap on devouring the muffin.
Starr would then pull her long hair back into a thick ponytail via a scrunchie around her wrist before heading towards the front door. She'd nearly run into her friend Yoko as she opened it however, surprised to see someone standing there.

"Yoko-chan? What are you-"
"Don't tell me you forgot I was meeting you here, gosh! Come on!!"

For a friend of nearly 10 years Yoko was incredibly bossy - to the point that an outside observer might think Starr was her secretary, but the girls did have their moments that resembled normal friendship.

"Did you hear about our history Professor!?"
"No, what happened? Is he okay?"

For the entire walk to school her friend would go on an on about their professor sleeping with students to give them passing grades. Starr didn't bother to respond the whole way - not really interested in the topic, and much more focused on the evergreen trees around them blowing in the wind.

Once inside their University the girls would walk to their class together and take a seat in the front - Starr beside the window.

"What an odd looking bird" she'd think to herself as she stared at a rather large rooster-like bird on the next building.
It was far enough away that she couldn't identify it, but close enough that she could tell it wasn't like any bird she had seen before, and when two others flew beside it she couldn't help but feel weirded out by not only their wingspan but by the fact they seemed to be staring straight at her.

"Just ignore it! Class will be over in no time then you can leave!"
But no matter how much Starr tried to mentally talk herself out of staring that's all she'd do for the two an a half hours she was in class - stare out the window.

Anxious to get out the front doors of the building Starr would uncharacteristically bump into a few people, desperate to look and see the birds closer in person, however when she looked up at the adjacent building they were gone.

"Where did they go!?"
"Where did who go?" asked Yoko, before pulling out her phone. Starr would act as if it was no one important and quickly twist the conversation around to one about school, but she only had one class today while Yoko had three, so the two girls would part ways after a few minutes.

"I'm not insane, I know I saw those....things." she'd complained to herself as she walked down the sidewalk. She was several blocks from her house, an even though she knew neither of her parents would be there she still decided to divert to a nearby pond - where she'd sit on a bench and stare out at the water - occasionally throwing a ball back and forth with a young girl. However her view would suddenly become obstructed when one of those odd looking birds from earlier dropped in front of her several yards away.

"Oh God..."
The bird was much larger in person - at least half the size of a car, which caused not only Starr by the small group of people around to point and back away. However when the other two landed beside it everyone began to panic.

Tripping over her own two feet Starr almost hit the ground, however she was able to catch herself and run with the others into a nearby Ramen shop, where she'd hug closely the same girl she was once playing with.

Mei

Mei let out a sight, today had not been going well in the least bit. Still in her schools uniform, Mei walked alone though it was only for today that she would. All her friends had to stay behind for studying purposes but Mei knew better than that. They were no doubt doing random crap that had nothing to do with school and she knew Anita was with her boyfriend in one of the many classrooms in her school, alone with the door locked to deal with their “business”.

Just thinking about what they could be doing in that room, Mei’s face turned a bright red. urgh! Why do I have such friends? Why!? thinking this Mei let out a growling sound. A few stares came her way but she paid no attention to them. Mei was used to such things, although she had a rather outgoing personality that drew the girls towards her. The guys were a completely different matter considering she never sugar coated her words when she spoke to them. But then again the guys do deserve the tongue lashing from Mei since they take pleasure in reminding Mei just how short and not to mention underdeveloped in some places.

Glaring off into space, Mei laced her fingers together her head while still holding onto her school bag. She puffed her cheeks in remembering she would have to go home and make herself some sort of dinner. “what should I have for dinner exactly. Mm nah I’ll just get some ramen from that one place.” licking her lips at the idea of going to her favorite ramen shop.

At that moment as if on cue, her stomach growled and she grinned. Patting her abdomen Mei chuckled and started to run for her ramen shop. However when she got there what she saw made her quickly duck behind a corner. In front of her favorite ramen shop were three incredibly large birds about the size of cars. “Aw man, there goes dinner. But what the hell do I do now. Should I call the police or maybe help all those people. Oh maybe if I save them they’ll give me free ramen!”

Mei’s eyes sparkled and a bit of drool slipped from a corner of her mouth. But then it disappeared after a shake of her head as she began to think aloud, “Dang! But I don’t have my rifle with me, what the hell do I use now?” For a moment Mei pouted but then grinned with a determined look in her eye. Placing her school bag neatly on the ground with her school jacket folded neatly on top of it. Mei looked around for some sort of weapon and found a stick and a rusty looking piece of pipe. eh well its better then nothing, oh a ball just what I need.

Smiling, Mei picked up said ball, took a deep breath and ran out from cover. Her tongue poked out from the corner of her mouth and drew her arm back when she got within good distance from the large rooster like birds. “Hey Ugly, I wouldn’t get in the way of this girl and her ramen. Now move!” she shouted before throwing the ball right at its head. The ball hit it pretty hard and right where she wanted it. Although it wasn’t like her rifle, as long as Mei had a target she could possibly hit it and especially considering how large the bird was. There was simply no way she could have missed it but now that it hit said target, Mei began to have second thoughts.

The bird who got hit with the ball squawked and turned to face her looking out through one of its eyes. The way it did so was incredibly creepy but Mei stood her ground, she held out both stick and pipe in front of her. Of course Mei was somewhat rusty in the use of weapons as her dad mainly focused on guns and hunting knives. A stick and a pipe wouldn’t do her much good for this particular situation but she had to do something. There was no way she was going to let some overgrown chickens get in the way of her ramen.

The bird then turned its entire body toward her and flapped its wings. A huge gust of wind came her way and it took all Mei had not to fall backwards and even more so to keep her skirt from flying upwards. Mei glared at it before throwing a now broken stick at its head again to draw it away from the shop. The bird followed but so did the others which was not Mei’s intent. However with the stick now considerably shorter it was almost like the days she had her hunting knife with her. damn Japan, as much as I like it I can’t believe were not allowed to carry knives or even gun parts. However with this thought it was also a distraction from the matter at hand.

Seeing this, the bird who got hit, squawked again before running at her. Mei gasped and swung the pipe when it got close and when it finally did she ducked and rolled underneath its abdomen. ‘hehe, I guess being small has it’s uses.” sadly Mei spoke to soon as with surprising flexibility and coordination, the bird turned a bit and grabbed onto her leg. Letting out a surprised yelp, Mei did her best to get the bird to let go. Hopefully someone would be close enough or maybe even the police were there to get her out of this rather sticky situation.

Haruto Katashi

A cold winter breeze, a feeling of being missed placed the idea of closing your eyes and having it all just go away. All thing Haruto Katashi felt in a single moment as the winter breeze past across his sleeping face. His eyes opened regretfully to be met by the sun shining down on his face and a tall tree providing some shade. “How strange for me.” he spoke out softly to himself as he remained motionless spread out on the grass. “When did I start sleeping here all the time? I can’t remember.” The words escaped his lips and being taken away by the breeze. He laid there for a moment just looking up at the sky before he finally moved and sat himself up using his arms as support. A small hill just next to the park the place he had found himself coming to every day the place he would lay down on the grass and drift away from reality, a peaceful place.

He was dressed in light winter coating; it was only starting to get cold so he had yet to take out any form of heavy winter jackets, just a coat or hoodie always accompanied by a pair of gloves covering his hands and the strange mark that had appeared on his hand. He was thanking full for the time of year, if it had been different he would be questioned about the gloves he wore regularly, what could he say, a bad burn? Perhaps that would work. He chuckled lightly at himself as he held up his left hand picturing the image that hide behind that fabric. “What an ugly thing.”

Haruto stood up from the grass and brushed of his back before he gave another stretch. As usual he had a pistol stashed away in his inner coat pocket, which he was reminded of as it bumped against his skin from the inside. “Old habits die hard I suppose.” He spoke out once more softly to himself. He was a bit disappointed in himself to still be carrying such a thing he just always picked it up and took it with him when he left his apartment. He gave it a shrug as he reminded himself to keep on pushing for a better life. He gave himself a reassuring smile and stared walking down the hill. He stopped half way however as he heard a girl yelling off in the distance. “The ramen shop?” he raised a brow at the idea of someone causing a problem at a place like that. He rather liked that place thinking about it, use to be a regular when he first arrived in Tokyo, how long has it been he wondered sense he last visited. Then he heard another noise. “….a chicken?”

He was curious now such an odd thing, he didn’t really have any business going to look but he was bored if anything. Better than taking a nap any way, a recent habit he would like to break soon. None the less he changed his course and headed to the source of all that commotion at one of his favorite places.

He arrived after a short while to be meeting with the sight of a girl being held by the foot by a giant… chicken? To be fair it was a rather odd looking thing… but a chicken? He didn’t make a move to help; instead he looked back and forth down the street looking for some sort of camera crew. “What a dumb movie idea.” He blurted out as he turned back to the sight in front of him confident that this was being used as a set.

Rika

Rika gazed absently into her coffee. Eventually, she knew she would have to go to work. She sighed, she really didn't want to have to deal with yet more people today. People who assumed she actually cared how their day was going.

Truth be told, she was looking foward to work even less than usual. She looked down at her hand. She had taken to wearing fingerless gloves. She had woken up and found this weird mark on her hand. So far, she had gotten away with telling the few who had asked that it was a tattoo. Her boss wouldn't be happy. Then again, he never was. 'You must look proper for the customers!'

Rika smiled wryly. Like they even cared what she looked like. So long as her clothes were clean, she doubted they actually cared. Hell, she had only taken the job so she could pay rent to her mom. So long as she got paid at the end of the day, she was happy. She practiced her plastic smile, using her coffee as a mirror. She didn't care how weird she looked. These people didn't know her and and she didn't know them.

God she was hungry. She looked at the counter. It was too early for cheesecake. But it wasn't too early for a muffin, right? Rika held her coffe in her hand and joined the queue. "Blueberry muffin please." She ordered when she was at the front. She returned to her seat, eating her muffin on the way. She sat, sipping at her coffee, hoping to delay the moment she would have to leave for work. She finally drained the last of her coffee and reluctantly left for work.

Work passed slowly. Rika would smile and greet the customers politely as she scanned their shopping through. The bakery smelled so good from here. It wasn't payday for a while. Why couldn't the bakery just breakdown once in a while? Happily, she closed her checkout, heading onto the floor to do checkstock. She liked this part. Less peolle bothered her. She went out back to the warehouse. Rika pulled her cart out and began stacking the shelves.

"What are they?" the familiar voice of her boss enquired.

Rika looked at her hands, "I uh, sprained my wrist and I figured these would look better than just a normal support bandage sir."

"Hmmm, next time, just wear the bandage please Miss Watari."

Rika bowed her head, "Yes sir." And she went back to stacking her shelves, being sure not to put anything too heavy on her left wrist to maintain her lie.

Akem

The bed was soft and warm. The left side of his body sinking into the soft mattress while the right side was covered by the loose cover made of a soft and cuddly fabric. Here was Akem. In another house, in another bed, taken in by another random stranger he meant on the street. Akem may be the demon of the sin of sloth, but he has standards to where he chooses to sleep.

This random stranger just so happened to be a stoner. That's right, a stoner. A female stoner. Akem woke up to the smell of weed. He lazily pulled the cover down, looking around. He was in an apartment. It was rather small, which didn't surprise him. There was a big California King bed up against the wall. At the foot of the bed was a small couch right in front of a little box TV on a little table. To the right of the bed was a side table then the wall with the window. The rest of the floor on that side of the room was filled with bean-bag chairs. To the left of the bed was another bed side table, right next to that was a door to the bathroom that only had a shower, sink, and toilet. Then, about a foot or two away, was the end wall of the apartment that had the door to the hallway of the building. On the left side of the door - from the POV that you are coming into the apartment - was a small kitchen with a sink, a counter, and a microwave oven.

Yeah, the apartment was small, but the bed was amazing. Slowly sitting yup, Akem looked around before seeing the stoner with a joint between her index and middle fingers, her eyes closed as she slowly swayed to the sound of some music playing inside her head. She was in the zone. High as a flying pig in the sky. And Akem just looked at this as participating in sin. And he loved it.

He almost sat up straight, but being him he didn't. His shoulders dropped forward slightly, his back arching into a slouch, and his neck angled inwardly. His head tilted to the left, his hair looking like he just woke up, and he looked at her, just staring for a moment until she noticed him. "Yooo, duuuuude. How's it..." She pauses and takes a puff of her joint. "Haaaaannnggin'" She let's the smoke out as she says the word, the smoke coming toward Akem in a long stream. He just lazily and - obviously - unamused swatts it away with his hand, leaning over on the other arm that still lays palm flat on the bed.

"You're high." He says bluntly, easing his way off the bed. He doesn't stretch, rather embracing his tiredness, as he stands. He then gives the stoner a lazy and almost evil smirk. "I like that." Right now, Akem is dressed in a loose fitting thin long sleeve shirt, baggy grey sweat pants, and thick fuzzy grey with purple polka-dot socks. And frankly, he has no plan on changing.

He walks up to the stoner. She offers him the joint. He bends at his waist, his neck still bent as his head swings over like it has it's own gravity. He grabs the joint between his index finger and his thumb then puts it to his lips, inhaling the toxic smoke into his lunges until it starts to burn. He them stands straight up, bending back slightly, and his head swinging up as he lets the smoke blow out, the streams coming out like the flames of a fire.

After all that was done, Akem left the stoner to her joint and walked out of the building. He was still wearing just a loose long sleeve shirt, baggy grey sweat pants, and thick fuzzy grey with purple polka-dots socks. He just now had on a thick army-green jacket over the shirt. He felt good. He honestly didn't even understand why he didn't just stay with Hippy-J, as he decided to call her, and sleep. But he left. As he walked lazily down the side walk, looking as tired as can be, he passed by a sight of something he didn't understand. But walked passed like he saw nothing before realizing it was an odd sight. He took a few steps backwards to see if he could see it again. He was right. A small girl and a giant chicken. He grinned at the sight and let out a chuckle. It was that funny. Akem thought he might as well play along. "Hey, girl playing with the chicken! You need help?" He said, his voice sounding tired and his eyes looking tired, but a large grin across his face.

Mei

Mei squirmed in the birds grip trying to get free. But nothing she did was working and the blood was beginning to rush to her head from moving around so much. And for that Mei started seeing colors and had mistaken a figure not to far from her and the chicken for said dots of color that clouded her vision.

Thankfully they faded after a while and se realized those dots or one dot in particular was actually a person. And a guy at that, who merely stood there, watching her and the chicken. Letting out a growl of sorts, Mei suddenly blushed at the remembrance of her skirt. Pushing her skirt back down Mei let loose a string of curses of course it was all in Russian.

After her words faded in the air, Mei did her best to turn to face the figure from before. And now that she looked at them it was a guy of all things and blushed again before her expression of embarrassment was exchanged for one of anger. "Hey you! Yeah you! Are you stupid or something get your ugly ass on over here and help with this damn chicken!" She glared at the guy then noticed another guy did the same.

Once again Mei turned red but this time it wasn’t because of her embarrassment. No this time it was by the fact that a hobo offered to help her while a college guy only watched her like a dumbass. “I would think so you damn hobo! At least you got some manners and doesn’t stand like a dumbass!” her last words were for the first guy who had shown up.

After voicing her thoughts, Mei used her one free hand and stabbed at the chicken’s foot that kept her up in the air. The sharp end of the stick didn’t do much in harming the bird but after a while Mei grinned when she saw a bit of blood. Or she thought it was, the chicken’s blood was an odd color not necessarily red like a humans but more pinkish in color. “You’re not a normal chicken are you?” she asked more so to the chicken than anything else.

Reme

Reme had long finished eating the buns, and her stomach growled hungrily for more food. She thought for a moment, sitting still on the tree, yawning. "Need.. more... food.." She mumbled, half-heartedly. She missed her place in the demon world, where she had gotten all the food she had wanted. Now why on earth did she betray the demon King again? Well one thing was for sure. He wasn't going to have her back. Not after the ordeal. She sighed again, then swore to herself.

As she began walking to another store, she saw a demon she knew, and ... were they humans? She felt her own eyebrows raise, for reasons unknown, and she stifled another sigh. Was there something wrong with the body? It felt like it couldn't move. Like it had no energy. Reme ignored the feeling, and continued to walk towards the demon.

She stopped in the middle of the path, her heel stopping their rhythm. Were those chickens... She licked her lips, and ignored the demon, feeling a lick of power nearby. Someone was greedy.... She shook her head inwardly, and ignored the feeling, as her stomach rumbled again.

She glared at the chicken, realizing it was looking at someone else, and averted her eyes, annoyed. Then she turned to the girl, and began unknowingly to glare at her.

(Yaru)

Yaru walked down the walk, a few people staring at her as she walked. It was true, she didn't fit in normally, but she didn't stick out all that much either. If she was a human, she'd probably been seen as a "goth" or whatever other word they could think of. With pale white skin and wearing nearly all black, she honestly felt good. That was until she realized she envied so many people as she walked past them. It would either flash in her head how much prettier they were than her, how much friendlier they seemed, how successful they looked, how good that arm candy walking with them looked. She could go on, but it'd just end up subsiding anyways.

Yaru wasn't one of the seven. She was a follower. And at the moment she was looking for at least one of the seven to show up. Until then, she walked. A look in her eye that could only suggest her being angry as her eyes looked cold, her jaw was set, and her brow was drawn in slightly. She walked with confidence and pushed passed those whom stood in her path. Some guy yelled at her, throwing his fist up in the air. "Hey! Watch where you're going, you dumb girl!" Yaru almost turned around to yell at the guy but decided he wasn't worth her time. On she went.

Yaru eventually ended up in a place where she could hear people talking. Her eyes narrowed as she looked around and saw two of the seven demons she envied so. A fake smirk crossed over her face as she strutted up to the two, standing by two other humans she didn't feel the bother to care about. Looking around at the others she said in an almost jealous sounding voice covered with mock excitement "And what are we doing here? I didn't miss anything I hope." She ended with an evil, mock smile.

Haruto Katashi

He blinked a bit at the situation that had unraveled itself before him. it wasn’t a movie the chicken wasn’t fake and the girl was actually in trouble, and there was apparently homeless people coming to investigate. He couldn’t help but thing she was rather rude to call him names then demand that he helped her. Maybe this is just a dream, maybe he is still laying down under that tree sleeping away the troubles of the world. “Let’s just go with that.” The words slipped from his lips in a whisper. A dream that was the only explanation he had for such a strange occurrence to happen in an otherwise ordinary place.

He let out a sigh as those thoughts ran threw his head and he reached into his coat. “Ok ok I’m helping.” he spoke out rather half heartily; it was just a dream after all no reason to stress. From his coat he pulled out the pistol that was ever so snugly tucked away in his pocket the cold steal of it felt strange to him. Sure he had held it often but it had been years since he had planned to actually fire the thing, the knowledge that in a few minutes a life would be gone, it got his heart pumping and adrenaline going, something he had not felt in years. “Now just hold still it’s been a while.” He spoke with a grin coming across his face as he aimed it towards the bird holding her.

His eyes got a glimpse of the crowd that was gathering though he could not hear their words from where he was. They didn’t look homeless, but then again this girl was rather rude two of looked rather unremarkable from as far as he had time to actually notice, but there reaction to the whole situation seemed less than worried. Thinking about it he wasn’t so different, a dream he didn’t care so why should the people that resided in his own mind? Of course they weren’t worried.

He took it into both his hand quickly the memory of it returning to him as though it was second nature. The barrel pointed right at its head as it moved around, target was different but the concept was still the same aim where it was going to thrash to, a quick twitch of his finger and that would be the end of it. well that was the idea, the reality of it was he was a bit rusty and he knew it. “Just try not to move.” He yelled out to her as he sticks out his tongue lightly and closed one eye acting as though he had never actually shot a gun before. It was just a dream, why not have a little fun, this was what he thought. He pulled back his index finger and the sound of a bullet tearing through the air rang out as it went right towards the chickens head. He was rusty, but this was a big enough target and he had been doing things like this for a long time, this he remembered.

Akem

Akem raised an eyebrow at the girl as she called him a hobo, then he realized how he looked and nodded twice in understatement. He, honestly, didn't want to go help this girl for more than one reason. One; she was a human and - though Akem admired the life of humans as it's so peaceful and lazy - humans were beneath him for obvious reasons. Letting out a sigh, he was about to go and help the girl, but then a familiar face showed up.

"Is that greed I smell?" Akem said with a lazy smirk, but dropped it when he noticed she obviously wasn't paying attention and was just glaring at the girl. A short moment later, a very greedy and envious follower showed up and obviously voiced her jealously. "Well," He started, bouncing on his toes slightly before leaning her way. He's always leaning toward people when he talks to them. "Let's see. Oh! It looks like we have giant chickens from hell terrorizing the damned city. Is that not obvious? It doesn't really make a difference, seeing as all the people these beast may be killing are going to die eventually, but this is really ruining my peace of mind."

Akem paused as he saw the guy walking toward the girl and the giant chicken. The Girl and the Giant Chicken. The thought came to mind so randomly, so out of place, but for whatever odd reason - be it the huff of the joint from the stoner or the fact that he had a good nights sleep earlier - Akem thought that The Girl and the Giant Chicken would be a cool movie. Like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Or some other movie with a weird and confusing title. Like Jack and the Bean Stock. Akem had no idea that was about a boy and an actual bean stock. He though it was going to be about something completely different. Clearly, he was wrong.

Anyways, Akem paused speaking when he saw the guy walking toward the girl and the chicken. "Now, if you excuse me, I need to go catch a girl being dropped by a giant chicken." He gave a smirk and a bow before strolling over. He just walked, in no hurry, and somehow or another made it to the chicken just in time for the guy to shoot it in the head and the girl to land in his arms. As soon as the girl touched his arms, Akem sat her up right on the ground. Once shot, through the head, the giant chicken was freaking out. It was up to Akem now.

He pushed the girl away and jumped on the chicken. It was hard at first, the beast flapping it's wings and running around. It really is true that a chicken without a head will dance. Though, this chicken has it's head, it's not intact. Now, picture this. A 5 foot 9 inch skinny guy who looks homeless and has no shoes on jumps on a giant chicken over 10 times the size of a normal hen. This guy's not really strong, but he's tactical. He knows what he's doing. This is Akem. He jumped on the flailing chicken and wrapped his arms around its neck making a hushed coeing sound trying to calm the monster down. It calms the thing down slightly, but not enough. Akem has to take action. He tugs the chicken down as much as he can, but it doesn't really do anything. He climbs his way up to straddle the chicken like a rider to his horse.

"Tilly-hoe!!" Akem says in a joking matter before going semi-serious again. If only he could find a way to smash it's head or break it's neck. That put the thing down in a heartbeat. "Find a way to break it's neck or smash it's head!" Akem calls out to those who are near to come up with a plan as he rides it like a giant doggy.

Starr tried to console the girl but her words were falling on deaf ears, all the girl could do was cry into her jacket.

"Where's your mom?" Starr would ask, while frantically looking around the crowded Ramen Shop. The girl would finally clue her in on the fact that her Mother was at work, and she disobeyed her babysitter by going to the park by herself.
"This is my punishment for being bad, I'm so sorry!!! I'm really so sorry, I'll never do it again I promise!" the girl said through her tears.
"No it's fine, you're not being punished!"

As Starr stroked the girls hair she'd see a teenager out the window pick up a stick and begin to taunt the birds - distracting them, which gave her an idea.

"Follow me!" she'd say to the young girl, before grabbing her hand and pushing their way to the back of the Ramen shop and towards the back exit. By the time she opened the door everyone else in the shop noticed what she was doing and followed her out into the back alley - dispersing randomly.
"Come on, lets get out of here!"

Running for a little less than a mile Starr would escort the girl home and tell her to stay inside indefinitely until her parents get back home, before backtracking to her own house.......however just as she turned down her street she'd be cut off by one of the same creatures she had just fled from minutes before.

"No no no!" she whispered to herself while unconsciously taking steps backwards as the bird took steps towards her.
It wasn't simply the fact that the creature was nearly the size of a car that was scaring her straight, but the fact that it seemed extremely focused on her - like it wanted something that she had.

"This is who his power is trapped within? A target as weak an easy as yourself, this must be my lucky day." the bird spoke threw a demented grin, which caused Starr's eyes to widen in shock.

"It...talks? Oh god I'm dreaming, wake up! WAKE UP!!"
She'd begin to pinch herself but to no avail, she wasn't "waking up" and the creature before her eyes wasn't budging. In fact it appeared to be growing agitated with her.

"Worthless girl! Stand still so I can end this quickly!"

The bird would slowly lift itself off the ground only to propel itself towards her so fast she was barely able to jump out of the way.
As it shot past her Starr would instinctively run towards her front door, where she'd make it safely inside her house and lock the deadbolt - even though in reality she knew a deadbolt wasn't capable of stopping the creature outside on her street.
Sure enough she'd only take a few steps away from the entry way before the double doors she had just walked threw shot open, one coming completely off it's hinges and slamming into her - sending Starr straight to the ground.

As a small trail of blood began to run down the side of her face courtesy of a small gash under her hairline she'd grasp either side of the door that had knocked her off her feet - desperately trying to hide underneath it as she heard the birds clawed feet approaching.
"I'm gonna die! I'm really going to die!" Starr kept thinking to herself, as she clenched her eyes shut in fear and began to cry.

Reme

Red hair whipped from behind the bird, and then a chuckle was heard. It wasn't a particularly nice chuckle, in fact, it was one of crazy amusement, followed by a loud protest of a demon's stomach. "Hahaha... Itadakimasu!" came a loud yell, before blood began to splatter on the wall.

The chicken gave a loud and shrill scream, and Reme winced, her dark-ish red hair changing to match the blood which flowed with each strand. She looked from behind the chicken blood smearing her mouth, dripping onto her clothes, and onto the floor with a plop. She looked slightly surprised and embarrassed at the same time, as she saw the two girls, staring at her, one with dried tears on her cheeks.

Reme let loose a loud giggle, and wiped the blood away with her sleeve, trying not to scare them. "Uh... Can i borrow some clothes?" She asked, to no one in general, before turning back around to frown at the writhing chicken, who sadly was not dead.

She frowned, small crinkles creasing in between her eyebrows, and then leaned down, forgetting about the humans as she bit into the chicken, decorating the walls in a splatter of blood. This time, she did not stop, allowing full view of her face as she bit into the raw chicken hungrily, loud crunches heard as she bit into the bone.

"Ouch!"

She seemed to remember she was in someone's house, biting into a large raw chicken, with blood dripping down her mouth. She also seemed to suddenly remember, that she was the one who had somehow splattered the walls in blood.

"Whoops..."

A tense and awkward silence hung into the air, then came Reme's stomach again.

"Growl"

She blushed a deep crimson red, matching her bloody hair, and scratched her head awkwardly.

"Do you have any food?"

Mei

The guy she had called a dumbass walked on over to her with a half hearted reply. His reply earned him a glare from Mei as she puffed her cheeks. Green eyes blinked a few times before widening at the fact that by the way the guy was holding the gun he seemed very much rusty. Once again Mei let loose a string of curses as she did her best at staying still

Though it was a lot harder than you would expect especially with the crowd that was forming. One girl from the crowd who had the most unbelievable pale skin and was dressed all in black walked over to the hobo guy and started to talk to him. This irriated Mei considerably, a growl escaped her throat and then a suprised yelp as the shot was fired. Although it didn't kill the monster chicken it did however let go of her. Mei felt the grip on her leg loosen then it was gone completely and it was then that she remembered. Crap! I was upsidedown and now I'm falling!

For a moment a sense of panic came over her and it surprised her considerably when the hobo guy caught her. When did he get here? Thankfully he set her down standing and pushed her aside. Something Mei did not appreciate having done to her. Now that the chicken was shot through the head it was going hysterical and Mei couldn't help but burst out laughing at the way the hobo decided to handle the chicken.

Mei watched as he climbed up onto the back of the chicken almost like riding a horse and tried camling it down. Which worked to a certain point but now all they had to do was kill it for good. Mei then remembered the other guy with the gun. Heading over to him Mei suddenly felt a funny feeling in her gut that was telling her to go the other way. Ignoring her gut feeling, Mei reached the other guy and shoved her hand outwards. "Hey give me your gun so I can kill the chicken. I don't trust you enough to not kill the hobo guy."

Mei said it quite bluntly as it was odd coming from a school girl so much shorter than you. A grin appeared on her face at the idea of being able to hold a gun in her hands. However the guy would probably mistake her grin for something else. But then again it was entirely up to the guy as to whether or not he'd give her the gun. In Mei's own opinion she thought the gun would be put to better use than if it were with him. Of course she'd give it back but that would depend on whether or not she would be giving it back if he gave it to her.

Haruto Katashi

He hit where he wanted and a light smile crossed his face. He could still aim although if this was good thing was still hard for him the grasp. His faced dropped however as she dropped from the birds mouth, hadn’t thought that part through all the way, she would be fine right? As he thought that the hobo suddenly appeared and caught her, he was fast for a homeless person. He gave a puzzled look to the scene in front of him as the hobo started to ride the chicken, what exactly was the goal of this? He shook the thought from his mind; it was just a dream after all wasn’t it?

The girl approached him and made a rather odd demand of him. She wanted the gun to go kill the chicken? Sure he would be pissed if that had happened to him but this was a school girl a short one at that. His face broke into a broken chuckle as he tried to hold back from laughing. “That’s adorable.” He places his left hand on her head and rubbed it messing up her hair like that of a child’s. “You know I hit him right?” he spoke out a moment after in response to her criticism as he removed his hand from the top of her head.

Thinking about it as he looked back to the chicken, the idea of a short school girl being a super bad ass sounded rather awesome, hell it was just a dream right why not try to make it better. Normally he would of never handed the gun over to anyone but this was just a dream right? He flied the gun around so that the barrel was in his hand and the grip was pointed towards her. “Go nuts just give it back when you’re done, things aren’t cheap.” After giving it to her he took a step back and was just going to watch with his hands in his coat pocket. If anything he just wanted to see where this dream of his was actually going before he woke up.

The thought suddenly crossed his mind, what if this wasn't a dream? What if this was all actually happening? the cold steal of the gun sure felt real, the sound of it ripping threw the air sounded real, the girl who's head he had patted felt real. The breeze in the air the sun beating down on him, these were details that were not normally in his dreams. he looked away from the action for only a moment as he pulled off his left glove and looked at the mark on his hand. This wasn't a dream was it? He quickly put it back on and began to regret the decision to give this girl a weapon. He watched intently at was that was happening while in his mind he tried to place together what it was that was actually happening and how it would all play out in the end.

Mei

Mei took his gun and was glad that he at least knew how to hand it to her. She chose to ignore his earlier comment. Mei was well aware he hit the target but there’s a difference in hitting the target as a whole and getting bull’s-eye. "Don’t worry; I'll take good care of it." A small smile appeared on her lips at finally holding a gun in her hand.

Mei turned on her heel to face the giant chicken and the hobo guy who miraculously was still on its back. Raising the gun to eye level, Mei pointed the end point of the gun at a certain point in the chicken’s neck. The jugular vein or where she assumed it was, I mean it may look like a chicken but considering it had tried to eat her not too long ago and the fact that it wasn’t the normal size of chicken.

The tip of her tongue pocked out of the corner of her mouth as she concentrated. Mei was more used to using her anti-tank rifle which was pretty big compared to this guy’s pistol. But it would have to do besides her dad didn’t just teach her how to use any specific type of gun; Mei just liked the anti-tank rifle more so than the smaller guns.

Focusing on her target Mei pulled the trigger and a shot rang out. The bullet went right through its neck but by the looks of it she had missed the jugular vein. “Damn missed but now I know where exactly to aim for.” Mei grinned as the familiar rush of adrenaline coursed through her body. However her joy was soon doused by the fact that the chicken wasn’t so joyful and let out a shriek before going crazy again. It ran towards Mei who in turn ran away from it and rushed to its side for a closer shot.

As she neared the chicken, Mei brought the gun up again and shot twice the second bullet was just in case the first one didn’t do the job right. The chicken stumbled on its feet as pain coursed through its body. Soon enough it was on the ground bleeding out and twitching as it slowly died. Feeling some pity for the monster chicken, Mei walked over and shot the chicken point blank in the center of its head. With a final twitch the chicken lay still and was no more.

Thoughts of her past as well as the most absurd things, such as her mom being mad at finding her blood on the floor, where all running through Starr's head as she kept her eyes clenched shut.

"I believe there are two sides to the phenomenon known as death, this side where we live, and the other side where we shall continue to live. Eternity does not start with death, we are in eternity now."
She would repetitively think of a quote she had remembered from an old Sunday morning show on one of the many American channels in Tokyo. Its tone struck a cord with her and she had hoped it would give her comfort in a dire situation if ever need be - though she could never of predicted such a situation like the one she was in now.

After several repetitions it would hit her - the door was still covering her body and she hadn't been attacked.
"It's...quiet?" she questionably muttered to herself, wondering where the creature had gone, but before she could do or say another thing she'd suddenly hear a woman's voice.
"Whoops....do you have any food!?"

The feminine voice caused her to slowly stick her head out from under the door covering her, and there she'd glimpse a young woman - who appeared no older than 20 - standing in front of the creature that had busted into her family home moments earlier. It was now dead, and the young woman before it was covered in blood......a sight that caused Starr to cautiously push the door off of her, however when she noticed her cellphone on the ground she'd quickly, and clumsily, make her way to her feet, grab the device, and frantically run into the first floor bathroom - locking the door behind her and sliding to the ground hard.
"119, 119!!*" she whispered while dialing the police - blood smearing all over her touch screen.
When the operator finally picked up Starr couldn't help but be inconsolable to the point of making little sense.
"Police, send the police, ambulances, help me please! There's blood, it's dead, she's bleeding all over, my head is bleeding, please, help me, call my mom!!"
"Ma'am can you calm down, please, give me your address then repeat what's wrong!"
"It's dead!!!! It tried to kill me!!"

Starr would continue to lose it for the next 60 seconds before the woman on the other end of the line calmed her down enough that she was able to give her address. When she did the operator's tone would change.
"Ohhhh, you're in that neighborhood. Don't worry, we've gotten a number of calls - police are heading there through traffic as we speak, give it another ten minutes okay? Do you want me to stay on the phone with you while-"

Before the woman could finish Starr would drop her phone then bring her knees up to her chest.
"Ten minutes? Why so long.....why so long!"
As she hugged her knees she told herself she wasn't going to move until she heard sirens. The amount of blood she saw on the girl outside in her living room was unnerving and she just assumed the girl was beyond her help now, since any human being would go straight into shock or pass out with so much blood loss.

She had completely forgotten the words the girl had uttered, but she'd remember the blood on her clothing as she dropped her head in between her knee caps and sighed - tapping her feet unconsciously.

*They use 119(or 110 for less serious things) over there, not 911. =)

Reme

Reme looked surprised. In fact, she did more than LOOK surprise, she FELT surprised too. It was clearly shown in her face, the widened purple eyes, and the rising eyebrows. Her lips set slightly apart, revealing more blood, and sharper than an average human canines. Although, the blood clearly did nothing for the surprised features on her face, instead changing the surprised look to... one of a crazy psycho murderers.

Technically, she was a murderer. She wasn't crazy though, or a psycho. She had only killed a giant... chicken? What was it anyway... Well what it was wasn't important. What WAS important, was the fact that Reme was NOT a crazy psycho murderer.

She remembered the chicken again... and forgot the girl. She forgot that the girl had seen her with a waterfall of blood, or that she had just completely splattered the girl's wall in blood. She forgot everything. Except for the fact that she was hungry, and that the giant chicken was disgusting . Utterly, Utterly Disgusting.

Her stomach let out a loud growl, and she moved her hand to pat her stomach, eyeing her hand for a few moments, as some blood dripped off, and some blood dried onto her fingernails. "Are you serious...." She lost her trademark playful smile, and she scowled, rubbing her hand into her stained blouse, before remembering her hunger again.

"I wonder what humans eat..." She mumbled, heading off towards where she smelled food. Or something she hoped was food.

I actually have almost no idea what to write about, so please forgive me on a bad paragraph of writing

His walk was seemingly interuptted, when out of the corner of his eye he spotted to large birds flying through the sky. Their stench easily showed they weren't normal birds in this realm. His body tensed, until he narrowed his red eyes as they flew out of sight. They seem to be focusing on something else, perhaps another one of the seven.

Or were those shit-heads in one place?

A scowl deepened back on his face, as he let out a canine growl to himself. They better not be flocking together like the weak ones did. If they all got killed, it would lead him stuck here, with no probable hope of getting back to the other realm.

With a scoff, he started to follow on of them. Unlike the other imps that he had killed earlier, it would be harder to kill these things since they carried no weapon, and were massive in size compared to him. Perhaps just to observe for now, he decided in his mind. With an inward growl once again, he jogged to keep up with the birds, losing them a few times but then finding them based on scent.

And the giant feathers that fell down.

"This is who his power is trapped within? A target as weak an easy as yourself, this must be my lucky day.

Came a gravely voice. His head shot toward the direction of the voice. If it was talking, then the human must be close by.

"Worthless girl! Stand still so I can end this quickly!"

That scum of a human better not die until he get there. Not exactly sure what he could do yet, his eyes narrowed and he picked up speed...until he heard crazy laughter echo throughout the wind. He slowed down, until he paused. That voice was unmistakenbly loud and obnoxious, so it had to be Reme.

Looks like that shit head was doing his job for now.

As he reached the house, he could smell the scent of demonic blood splattered on the floors. The heat of the sun only made it worse. He could hear the retreating steps of the female demon, and the muttering of food.

Simple minded people sometimes had it easy it seems, since the girl was not searching for her human.

Ikari blinked, before wandering near the entrance of the house. The bird demon had turned to black ash, and it littered in the pools of blood. Well, at least she killed it. His eyes spotted a woman, human it seemed burying her head into her knees. Why though? Why did humans do that? Then again, he never really understood these creatures in the first place. This woman had just stepped into a world of demons it seems.

Then again, it was their fault.

He walked in, looking at the blood that now decorated the walls of this human habitat. Ikari walked toward the purple-headed woman, standing over her before speaking.

"Oi, Woman. I suppose your the one the bird tried to kill." It was more of a statement then question, as it was quite obvious of went on in here before he arrived.

Continuously checking her phone's clock Starr would grow frustrated as time felt like it was creeping by. She figured the girl in her living room was out cold by now due to the amount of blood loss she saw on the front of her shirt, but Starr was too frozen with fear to open the bathroom door and see. However when a male voice suddenly spoke up she'd quickly scurry across the floor - slamming into the tub.
"Oi, Woman. I suppose you're the one the bird tried to kill."

"H-how did he know I was in here?" she'd think to herself, before staring down at the opening at the base of the door - assuming that was what gave her away.
There had been no sound of sirens and there were no other voices in her living room, which made her doubt this man was an officer, but she wanted to beleive he was.

"Maybe he IS a cop, maybe......just maybe they're stretched thin?"
Her mumbled words were laced with uncertainty, but she was growing tired and frustrated of being locked in a room waiting. So slowly she made her way to her feet and towards the door, which she'd open after a couple deep breathes.

A small shriek would escape her mouth as she jumped back from the doorway and nearly fell into the tub.
"Y-you're not a cop! Who are you?" she'd yelled, while grabbing the first object she could get her hands on to defender herself with - a wooden plunger.

Sakimura

Having no concept of time, Sakimura took his time finding his way into the heart of the city even if it was days or miles away. It didn't take him long to find issues though, seeing as their sudden appearance in the human realm had caused quite an imbalance of unnatural energy in the earths atmosphere. An easy yet limited way to track the refugees.

He looked around him to make sure there won't be any sudden attack or ambush before making his way towards the slightly chaotic scene by the road, his eyes caught sight of the thing that caused the mess. Probably dead. May still be alive but unconscious. Sakimura looked around the rim of the strange scene, crowds were beginning to pile up and knew that it will cause a much unwanted attention alerted by what happened here. He quickly made his way towards the main actor and actress of the scene, giving a formal greeting before speaking his thoughts.

"I see that the two of you had handled well with this...avian, but it seems I need to take it with me before questions of its existence arises," he spoke in a fast pace before turning around to face the flying predator, undecided on how he should go about removing it off the streets without relying on his weak ability.
