Severed Hope Asylum

Way off the coast of Pandorica situates a large remote island. On this island are various buildings but the most notable of all of them is the asylum standing menacingly above all the rest. Pandorica being a cluster of vastly different races and cultures there is bound to be a few bad apples, some more dangerous than others. It was built intentionally separate from Pandorica so any threats could be dealt with, with minimum civilian casualties. This dark and ominous asylum was created to keep the mentally unstable supernaturals in lockdown. No other prison facility could hold such a vast amount of super powered insanity, and so Severed hope was created in an attempt to remove these undesirables. The whole island is covered in an artificially created fog which greatly dampens supernatural abilities to the point where they're completely useless .

Many rumours circulate about what exactly goes on in there but only staff and the patients really know. These rumours range from torture, genetic mutation to just complete nonsense and conspiracy stories.

Those who are locked up in the asylum are rarely ever seen again. Those who do make it out are some of the very few that have escaped the grip of severed hope.A feat not easily accomplished. In fact there has only been one instance of an attempted escape after a huge riot. The warden claimed to have gotten it under control and contained all prisoners but many assume that may only be a cover
