Cady could be known as your typical girly girl. She enjoys wearing dresses, skirts, fancy looking shirts, heels, and makeup. If she doesn't feel that she looks like she just stepped off the runway, then she doesn't believe she is dressy enough. Even when she wears jeans, she doesn't look plain. Most of the time her hair is worn down. The only times her hair is put up is during dance rehearsals and while she is working out. Cady goes jogging and works out everyday when she can so that she can keep her slender figure.

Cady is a very sweet girl. Although she tends to seem as if she is a rich, spoiled brat, she really isn't. Just because she came from money she never believed she was better than everyone, never believed she deserved everything she wanted, and she always works hard for her successes in life. Cady hates it when people try to hand things to her, she feels that she doesn't deserve it if she didn't work for it herself. Cady has always been very independent and she doesn't plan on ever changing that.

Now, just because she is sweet, that doesn't mean she doesn't have a bad side to her. She is easily angered, anything could upset her at any given second. This comes from her bipolar disorder. Even though she takes her medication daily, sometimes the medication isn't able to stop her from going through one of her mental breakdowns. At these times she can be quite dangerous. Just be careful of what you do or say around her and everything she be fine.

Many things have caught her attention in life, causing her curiosity to take charge. Because of this curiosity she does tend to get in a bit of trouble. But in the end the adventure is all she ever wanted. Even though some of the trouble she has gotten into was pretty bad, she still would never go back and change anything. Cady enjoys the mysteries in life. Having new experiences, learning new things.

Unlike many kids who grew up in a wealthy family, Cady never became the snobbish type who believed she was better than everyone just because she had money. Instead she treated everyone like they deserved and always gave everyone a chance to be friends with her. Of course that always seemed to work out against her. Many people who stuck around used her just because of her money. Eventually she was able to talk her parents into allowing her to transfer to the boarding school. This place nobody knew who she was except for Jared, whom she brought along with her. Once she enrolled into the school, she promised herself she was never going to let anyone know that she is rich. She didn't want to go through everything she was going through back home. Cady wanted real friends, real enemies, a normal life.

Though just because she came from money it didn't mean she had a great life. Yes, she was happy. Yes, she was well taken care of. But her parents never spent much time with her. She slept around with guys, no matter who they were. She pretty much began to rebel all around. It wasn't until Jared sat down with her and talked to her that she began trying to change her ways. Though during those few rebellious years she ended up having an affair with a married man, whom later got her pregnant. Thankfully nobody found out about it and she kept it hidden from everyone. It ended in a miscarriage. This was something she hadn't even told Jared. Of course he knew about her affair, but not about the pregnancy and she plans to keep it that way.

Cady's older brother joined the military at the age of eighteen and has been overseas for a couple years now. She misses him a lot and worries about him so much more. But all she really can do is just wait for him to come back home and hope that he will be alive when he does. She waits for those rare phone calls, the rare skype calls, any kind of contact from her brother. As long as she hears something from him just to be sure he is alright, she eases up a little. But that never lasts very long.

Cady's life became plagued by the way her father treated her mother. Ever since she witnessed and found out about her father's abuse towards her mother, she immediately wanted nothing to do with the man. Later on she found out that he was cheating on her mother with one of his assistants at the office, but she never brought it up to her mother in fear of what her father would do her. Cady hopes beyond hope that one day she will have the guts to confront her father about this situation and even let her mother know what she found out. But as of right now, she doesn't feel that would be the time. Jared has told her countless times that it's not any of her business and that she should just stay out of it. But if Cady were in her mother's shoes, she would want her daughter to tell her if her husband had been cheating on her. Cady just isn't completely sure on how to go about it.

As of right now, Cady feels a lot better being out of a house filled with drama, a town filled with fakes, and a life where you never know if someone is using you for your money. In Paris she can be whoever she wants. Though one question persists, who will she be?

Cady couldn't believe she was actually here. She finally had a chance to be who she wanted to be without her money or family getting in the way. She had a chance to live like any other normal teenager in the world. Of course she loved her parents, regardless of all the bullshit she went through because of them, but it was nice to get away from it all.

As of right now, she found herself sitting on the edge of the fountain in the center of campus, waiting to hear from Jared. He said he would catch up with her after he unpacked, but it's been about six hours since then and it never took that long to unpack two bags. "Where the hell are you?" she thought to herself as she pulled her phone out to check the time. 5:45, he had more than enough time. What was keeping him?

Cady slid her phone back into her pocket and tucked her hair behind her ears. With a sigh she stood to her feet and decided to walk around campus for a bit, maybe even try to interact with some of the other students. Of course she knew that to many of the students who have been here for a couple years would realize she was new, but at this point she honestly didn't care. She didn't mind being the talk of the campus for a bit. It was inevitable to happen.

An outrageous looking blonde who was infamous on campus for having hair the colour of platinum and dark red lips like Marilyn Monroe walked outside, exiting from the main door towards the front of school where she noticed less students were gathered now- by this point of the day everyone had dispersed again which she appreciated it because Emily wasn't the most sociable, especially when it came to students.

Distressed black jeans clutched her petite waist a drop sleeve shirt that showed off her maintained figure. Velvet rouge Dr Marten boots adorned her feet and her expression was slightly bored. As a girl with a heavy reputation, no body bothered her as she made her way past the fountain- she was a respected trouble maker and admired prank star so she was best left be. She was however, which was a rarity- smiling, deviously of course in amusement but it was an almost warm and inviting expression of humour, she made her way to the usual meeting spot the theatre block and leaned against the wall with a contended sigh.

She was scrolling through her phone to text Chloe but stopped abruptly when someone brushed past her.

      "Excuse you," She scoffed, frowning at her a little. Then she looked at the face of the girl before her and arched her brow wickedly. A newbie. How curious. "Oh I'm sorry, forgive me. You're new right?" The sudden change in her tone of voice was hard to comprehend if she felt bad or not or was being sarcastic, she was just kind of talking the whole while her intimidating demure shining through like a warning. "I'm Emily but a lot of people call me Jakob, sorry for biting," She introduced with a seemingly pleasant smile but she was just too hard too read. She continued for a moment on her phone and quickly wrote out a text to Chloe;

      To: Chloe
Hey bitch, where you at? We said quarter to six right? I thought we did but might be wrong

She'd missed Chloe over the break, she hadn't seen much of her because Jakob had been working with an agency to hopefully enhance her reputation in the drama world but she was relieved to be back in her natural habitat. Chloe though, she absolutely adored her I mean it'd taken a while for them to come around to each other but since they'd always shared their dorm together- growing to be sisterly with one another was practically inevitable. So when Jakob called her a bitch, it was far from an offensive or mean thing; people who were friends with Jakob would understand that swearing was almost her way of saying 'I love you' but then again you wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of an Emily Jakobsen rant so maybe tone was important to consider to when considering these things.

She brushed her hair out of her eyes and smiled brightly at the other girl and pondered out loud; [colror=#93E6B3]"What extracurricular do you do?"[/color] she hoped the other girl didn't expect to be in Drama. Although there wasn't really an appointed leader of Drama- practically everything was overseen by Jakob and she did have a lot of say in new members and she definitely hadn't heard of this fresh meat joining but if she was in any of the arts she might prove useful one day- Jakob loved to pick up the musicians and dancers to use in her plays so she was hardly judgemental or prejudice about these departments.

Chloe had gone home over the break. She missed her parents and her home, though she considered the boarding school to be her home that was different. Most of all she missed her piano, at the boarding school she didn't have her own so the one her parents bought her was the only one she owned and she couldn't bring it with her when she started here so she left it. She played the piano that was on campus but it wasn't the same, any musician could tell you that. If it isn't yours it doesn't feel the same. She spent most of her break playing her piano for her mother. She knew her parents had missed her playing day and night even though they always had to ask her who she was playing. They didn't seem to mind that she didn't spend much time with her but she knew they did miss her.

Now she was back, just getting back to her room to drop off her bags. She was almost late meeting Jakob. She decided there was enough time for her to change so she did. She went from jeans and a blouse to a navey blue dress and a pair of wedges. She checked her watch and smiled Perfect timing. She grabbed her phone and bag closing the door behind her. She looked at her phone and saw a text from Jakob

To: Chloe
Hey bitch, where you at? We said quarter to six right? I thought we did but might be wrong

Chloe smiled, she knew bitch didn't mean what others would think it meant, especially coming from Jakob. The two had gotten very close over the school year seeing that they shared a dorm it was bound to happen. At first things were kind of rocky for them it took Chloe forever to get comfortable enough to even call her Jakob instead of Emily but as the year went on the two had gotten closer and they began to understand each other more and more.

To Jakob:
On my way. I just got back to campus and had to change.

She'd missed Jakob more than she though she would. Jakob was a trouble maker but Chloe didn't see her that way. She was only being herself and it didn't bother Chloe one bit. Campus was very quiet, most likely because kids had gotten used to sleeping in they just hadn't gotten up yet or other students were just not even back on campus.

She made her way to the fountain, where they had planned to meet. She could see the fountain halfway there and saw Jakob with a girl she'd never seen before, Must be new. With a smile on her face she quickened her steps, the closer she got the bigger her smile became without her even thinking. "Jakob!" She squealed and threw her arms around her friend and squeezed.

Cady was so focused on everything that was going through her head that she hadn't even realized she brushed by someone until they spoke to her. "Excuse you," She scoffed, frowning at her a little. Then she looked at Cady with an arch of her brow wickedly. From what Cady picked up on, this girl seemed to be in thought and she wasn't so sure on if it were a good or a bad thing. "Oh I'm sorry, forgive me. You're new right?" From the sudden change of tone, she wasn't too sure about her. She seemed just like some of the other stuck up girls back at home, but she wasn't going to put judgement on her until she got to know her a bit more. "Um, yeah, I'm new," she responded. "I'm Emily but a lot of people call me Jakob, sorry for biting," She introduced with a seemingly pleasant smile but she was just too hard to read. She continued for a moment on her phone. "Cady," she responded.

A couple seconds went by and just as Cady was beginning to step away the girl shot another question at her.
"What extra curricular do you do?"
Cady stopped in her tracks and returned her attention to the platinum blonde who did nothing more than remind her of a barbie doll. She looked almost perfect. But she knew better, nobody was perfect no matter how hard someone tried to be. This girl really was beginning to annoy her. Though she had a feeling the reason for this annoyance was because of Emily's demeanor. She put off a sense of cockiness that Cady knew all too well. "Dance," she answered as she noticed a brunette bouncing her way over to Emily.

The two seemed quite close, kind of like she was with Jared. As Emily and the brunette shared a hug, she was relieved to be saved from this awkward annoyance when she heard a familiar voice. "Hey, Cady Cat! There you are," Jared exclaimed as he wrapped his arms around Cady in a hug. There was no way Cady was able to explain how relieved she was to have someone she knew here. Cady wrapped her arms around him returning the hug and pulled away with a smile. "I see you're making some new friends," Jared added as he turned his attention to the females. "Yeah, I guess so," she answered with an unsure tone and tucked her blonde strands behind her ear. "I'm Jared," he introduced.

Jared went straight to unpacking when he got to the school. He figured he mind as well get it out of the way so he told Cady he would meet up with her in a couple hours. But as he was making his way out of his dorm, he spotted a couple females and just couldn't help himself from sticking around and flirting a bit. After all, Jared loved the ladies and he was never afraid to admit it. The next thing he knew it was almost six o'clock. "Damn it, I'm late," he mumbled to himself as he departed from the females without a word and continued on his way towards the fountain.

As he began to approach, he spotted Cady speaking to a platinum blonde and a brunette. The two were quite gorgeous in his opinion. "Hey, Cady Cat! There you are," Jared exclaimed as he wrapped his arms around Cady in a hug. As he embraced her, he could sense that she seemed a bit tense but just thought it was because of a new atmosphere. After a brief moment of waiting on the others to introduce themselves he added, "Sorry to cut this short, but do either of you know where I could find Jasper Callow?" he questioned.

Jared met Jasper during orientation and the two of them seemed to become good friends just from those couple of hours they spent together. It would be nice to catch up with him again and also introduce him to Cady. Ever since he told her about him she has been offering to meet his new friend.

Jasper had arrived fairly early considering all things. He’d already had most of his stuff unpacked and moved in before his roomie Jared seemed to get a chance to do his. He was kind of bummed he’d missed out on seeing him. They’d got along pretty okay at orientation, but he figured he’s have enough chances of seeing the guy considering he lived with him now.

It really didn’t even seem like Jasper had been in the place unless you looked closely enough. He didn’t have a lot of material possessions other then clothes and other necessities. The only things that showed Jasper truly lived there would be his books and the occasional photograph he’d set up; one of his mother, one of his adoptive parents, and one with the old gang, Esme, Eva, Ben, and Calla. Everyone was smiling and laughing the three different photographs. He hadn’t been present in any of them, considering he didn’t like his picture taken , but he gained more from looking at the ones he loved within the photographs then being it with them. They were the one’s who were most important.

After changing into new clothes, which simply consisted of a white tee-shirt and dark jeans, topped with his self entitled ‘lucky leather jacket’, Jasper sat on the edge of his bed contemplating what to do. He knew Esme was probably just getting to the school now after her long flight back from Spain, and he wanted to give her time to unpack and take care of things before he bombarded her. Then again, he could just show up anyways without texting her and carry out the whole surprise tactic he wanted to throw on her at the orientation, but it wouldn’t be the same.

He was pretty disappointed he never got to surprise her after all, but who knew if it would be as good as a thing in her mind for him to be there as it was for him to have her there. The reason he had transferred to this boarding school was solely to be around Esme. Ever since she abruptly left after getting released from the hospital, Jasper had been completely thrown off his everyday life. He had become so attached to her, more so than he already was in past years. They saw each other in their weakest moments and dealt with shit no childhood friends should have to deal with. When she left, it pretty much threw all his counselling and stuff away; He was in a bad place again. It was him who finally suggested he left the suburban town in New York to be with her again and after a lot of convincing, his adoptive parents let him go. There was no one who understood the trauma, the pills, the pain, but her.. He was just glad she didn’t remember every little detail like he had.

Getting up from the bed, he decided to wander around the campus for awhile, trying to maneuver and find his way. It didn’t last too long, however. He was already pretty bored and itching to see his friend, so finally he shot her a text saying “ “Let’s meet by the fountains. I think I can manage to find those at least. Want to grab food? - Jasper”  Barley even thirty seconds passed before he got a reply back.

Yeah, of course! Be down there in a minute!

So with a smile, Jasper walked off to go meet his friend.

It didn’t take too long for him to get in the vicinity of the water fountains he’d intended for their meeting place, but before he could get into it’s immediate proximity, a small girl with tumbling locks of brunette hair ran right into him. Looking down, he was startled at first, but relief and happiness washed over him as he looked at the familiar face. Shooting her a lazy grin as he caught her from falling down, he teased, “I know most girls fall head over heels for me, but never this literally.” She tried her best to give some sort of sour face, but he knew it wouldn’t last long. He had barley braced himself enough as she launched herself into his arms in a massive hug. Picking her up, he squeezed her back hard enough that was was afraid he was going do some serious damage.

Come on! That’s the first thing you say to me in months?” she exclaimed as he set her down gently, and he gave a scoffed noised pretending to be hurt. He sort of hated himself a little bit for the comment he said to her. Where he should have said something sweet and kind like he had originally intended to, there he went again, teasing her.

Well, I was planning on a whole surprise, remember? I had everything planned out; I was going to tap you on the shoulder once I spotted you, you would turn around after letting out a small scream cause I scared you, you would get all huffy, but then you would cry and disregard the fact I scared you cause, well, It’s me. I’m pretty damn great,” he commented, trying to keep with the same schtick he’d been going with. He saw a glimmer in her eyes that was all too familiar. Wow, she really was about to cry. He himself felt something in his throat like something had been caught in it, but he’d never admit that, even to her. Smiling widely at her comment, he went to go say something more before the chattering of the people a bit away from them caught his attention. He managed to make out the figure of one familiar face, Jared.

Hey, Jared, is that you man?” Jasper called out, before looking back down at Esme and quickly wiping away the one tear that had escaped her with his thumb. He couldn’t help but feel a little happy to see she had missed him like he had her. She seemed to gather herself, and he knew no more tears would come. Grabbing her wrist, he quickly dragged her behind him over to the group, explaining to Esme, “I think that’s my roommate over there, c’mon.

Almost instantaneously the answer to his question came from the lips of the person he was looking for, “Hey, Jared, is that you man?” Jared turned around towards the area the voice came from and spotted Jasper. The male gave a small wave and noticed he was dragging a gorgeous brunette along behind him. Apparently the two of them were pretty close from how willingly the female seemed to travel behind him. Must be Esme, he thought to himself. Jasper told him about how he wanted to surprise Esme when he met Jasper at the orientation. He thought that was pretty cool and wished he thought about that when he came here with Cady.

Once Jasper made it over to the small group, Cady seemed to immediately go silent as everyone seemed to be talking with each other. "Hey man! Good to see ya," he stated with his Southern accent. He gave him a bro-hug and glanced over to the petite blonde that stood beside him. "This is Cady, my best friend," he introduced with a soft smile. "And Cady, this is Jasper. I met him during orientation and he is my roommate." Cady gave a soft smile before folding her arms across her chest just as she always does when she is unsure about someone she had just met.

With everyone crowding around the small area Jared began feeling a bit claustrophobic so he stepped to the side a bit a little more out of the crowd so he didn't feel so closed in. "Did you guys have any plans for lunch? Cady and I were thinking about going out somewhere to eat if you and Esme wanted to tag along," he requested and hoped that Jasper and his friend would be interested in joining them. It would be nice to get to know Esme and hang out with Jasper a bit. It would also give him a chance to get to know his roommate a bit more without immediately jumping into things and figure out the way he thinks of things, etc. just by living with him. It would relieve many different arguments in the future.

A grin lit up Jakob's expression when she noticed her friend and she was just as quick to envelope the other girl in an embrace. "Chloe honey, how are you?" She greeted excitedly when she eventually let go of the taller girl but for someone so petite you had to admit she gave strong hugs. "I was just bonding with a newbie," She chimed smiling at Cady ad Chloe with an energetic expression.

"Dance? Better than track I guess. Good luck with your first day though," She chimed softly and it genuinely came across as something caring and kind, which bizarrely was something she was occasionally capable of. She noticed a guy wander over and she smiled politely but her grunge look didn't help make her look less intimidating or out of place. "Jakob and no, I don't sorry. Haven't seen him," She replied with a slight sigh to her voice. "See you around Cady, good luck! She chimed before walking a few steps away so she could talk to Chloe properly.

She was relived when the groups split because really she just wanted to chat with her best friend properly, she'd barely spoken her over the summer partially because she barely spent a day sober and when she was sober, she'd been working but now they were 'reunited' if she was being dramatic, she was genuinely thrilled to see her again.

"So, I want to hear everything about your summer and oh my god, next year; we're spending summer together because I forgot how boring people are back home," She laughed jokingly smiling brightly. It was quite funny how dramatically her attitude changed depending on her company but she believed most people behaved the same way. It was easier to be relaxed and friendly with people she actually liked being around and although everyone credited Jakob as an outstanding actress, she wasn't very good at being fake with people or pretending to like them which might be way she had a slightly...tainted reputation. What most people tend to disregard though is that a person is more than their reputation, so she'd stopped being offended by people who hated her from the get go.

Chloe turned to the new girl "Hi, I'm Chloe. You will love it here." She said giving the girl a smile. She wasn't much for meeting new people she was never good at it. It always seemed awkward to her so she just gave up but normally people approached her anyway. She didn't involve herself in the conversation. Apparently the fountain was a mutual meeting place for almost everyone because more and more people started to show up. Thankfully the group gravitated away from the two of them and Jakob pulled her a few feet away.

"So, I want to hear everything about your summer and oh my god, next year; we're spending summer together because I forgot how boring people are back home." Chloe laughed "Nothing much happened. I played my piano mostly, wrote some new music," Jakob was the only one who knew she even wrote music, but even with her best friend she was still afraid to play it for her. "I didn't get to see my sister though, I guess she didn't have time to come home for the summer. She said with a shrug. She and her sister hadn't seen each other since Chloe was sent to the boarding school. Soon after she found out her sister got into Yale. They write frequently but they rarely see each other. She was excited to go home that summer since she'd heard from her parents that her sister would be coming home as well but things changed.

"Next summer I go home with you and the summer after you will go home with me! Perfect, You can meet my parents and I can meet yours! She was getting excited just thinking about it. Her parents would love Jakob and not just because she was Chloe's best friend. "Come on, I'm starving.
