Theme Song: http://youtu.be/aKn2cen8c2wAnything%20But%20Oridnary

"Anything But Ordinary"

Sometimes I get so weird
I even freak myself out
I laugh myself to sleep
It's my lullaby
Sometimes I drive so fast
Just to feel the danger
I wanna scream
It makes me feel alive

Is it enough to love?
Is it enough to breathe?
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please

To walk within the lines
Would make my life so boring
I want to know that I
Have been to the extreme
So knock me off my feet
Come on now give it to me
Anything to make me feel alive

Is it enough to love?
Is it enough to breathe?
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please.

Let down your defences
Use no common sense
If you look you will see
that this world is a beautiful
accident turbulent suculent
opulent permanent, no way
I wanna taste it
Don't wanna waste it away

Sometimes I get so weird
I even freak myself out
I laugh my self to sleep
It's my lullaby

Is it enough?
Is it enough?
Is it enough to breathe?
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please

Is it enough?
Is it enough to die?
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please
I'd rather be anything but ordinary please.

So begins...

TJ nervously looked out the window, tapping on her knee like a nervous twitch. She hated airplanes with all her heart, and going to Spain on one was a little too much for her. She was going to vist one of her sister's old friends and stay at her aunt's place for about a week. TJ had been dreading the trip, but convinced herself it was worth it. Besides, wasn't air travel the safest way of traveling? She would be just fine! There was no need to worry, she told herself.

The woman next to her tapped her on the shoulder. TJ jumped back and turned around to face her. "Sorry to interrupt, but are you alright hon?" The woman had a thick country accent. TJ felt a little nervous being around all the people, but she forced a smile. "Yeah, just thinking, I have something on my mind," TJ said, brushing her bang back and assured the woman she was alright. She didn't seem entirely convinced though.

TJ reached for her old, worn blue hiking backpack. She pulled out a small, grey journal with white flowers on the front. She got out a pencil, she didn't care much for pens. TJ turned to an empty page and took a deep breath. It was her therapy journal, and she dreaded the thought of someone looking through it, she even felt uneasy when the therapist was looking through it. More recently, her therapist suggested for TJ to write a letter to her sister. TJ was almost horrified, but fought through it. Those pages had small tear marks all over them, just from her effort to scrawl out a simple letter.

Dear Celeste,
I'm flying to Spain (Dear god, please get me out of here) to see Abagail! She moved a few years back, didn't know if you knew. She's been emailing me constantly and finally set up a small assembly where I'm going to speak to kids about safety. I have this whole powerpoint and this huge presentation, and I had to learn two more languages so I can translate. Anyway, uh write to you later?

TJ

TJ struggled to make the letters that formed her beloved nickname. "This is stupid," She muttered. TJ put her journal back in her old backpack and leaned back in her chair. She closed her eyes, she was painfully tired from trying to write the whole presentation. She drifted off into her own world.

TJ woke up to yelling. People ran around, screaming. TJ panicked, not sure what to do. She slammed into the seat in front of her. "Um uh," She let out a yelp and buckled herself back in. She hugged her knees and closed her eyes. "IT's going to be ok, it's alright," She repeated. She felt a falling sensation, like the tower of terror like falling, but it didn't stop. She heard a loud splash before she felt water rise toe her eyelids. She opened them and swam upward. TJ swam over to the door and tugged. It opened and she swam to the surface. TJ grabbed a piece of floating luggage and got on top of it. "It's alright,: She whispered before she blacked out.

TJ telt sick as she gently opened her eyes. She was on a blue suitcase, bobbing along in the ocean. TJ started to move until she saw her left arm. Her right arm was bleeding, and it hurt like hell. She started to move it, and it made a loud crack. "AH!" She yelped as she reeled back in pain, falling off the suitcase. Tears fell from her eyes. TJ looked up at the sky, miserable. She clutched onto her small golden locket and opened it slowly. The picture was still in there. TJ breathed a sigh of relief. She put her pursed lips to the picture, kissing it lightly before she clamped it shut and let it fall back to her neck. With one arm and her legs, she paddled to a small shore. TJ stumbled like a drunk over to two girls about her age.

"C-c-could you help me?" TJ's teeth chattered. She clutched onto her hurt arm, putting pressure on it. She stood still for a moment, remembering the tapes, and how the man had broken Celeste's arm. TJ had only been twelve, and a package arrived at the door. Celeste had been missing for a week, and her parents were hanging up posters. Curious, she had opened it up and found a VCR tape. She pulled out the old VCR and dusted it off. TJ had stuck the disc in and watched it. It was one of the worst sights she had ever seen. Her sister had laid on the ground, crying. The man hit her with a knife, slashing her check before he kicked her in the stomach. He had grabbed her by the arm, twisted it around. It made a terrible crack. Just as that happened, TJ had turned off the TV in horror. It was one of her worst memories.

Caitlin heard someone call out for help looking over fast she saw the girl with a bleeding arm and was hurt badly. She quickly made her way over to help her. Once there she ripped the fabric from her shirt to make as a cloth to stop the bleeding. "This may sting and i'm sorry if it does." She tightly wrapped the cloth over the wound to stop the bleeding . She looked at the girl she was very sick she could tell and in lots of pain. She moved her to the rock where she had her sit next to Brooke. She looked at the girl and than at brooke. They were hurt bad, and needed help. She looked around. seeing no one in sight so she had to take action. She quickly went over to the tree grabbing 2 long pieces of part that would act as a brace for brookes ankle. Ripping another piece of her white white she wrapped it around her ankle to support it so it heals faster. She looked at them both and nodded signaling that it would be okay for now.

She signed, things were going to involve a lot of teamwork for sure. She just hopes there are more people than the three of them. She looked around still no one in sight; sadly. She looked at the two and knew they were lucky to be alive like she is. She just prays they find help and not have to live there forever, jeez would that be tiring, and hard considering no food no fresh water and no shelter.

Brooke looked at the girl as she turned around. Brooke took a small step back and looked at the girl that was a little older than her, she smiled and then looked away. Brooke looked back at the girl when she said, '' Hi, My names Caitlin. Do you need help? Were you on the plane that crashed as well?'' Brooke looked at her and nodded, she was relieved that she wasn't alone anymore. She did like to be alone, but knowing that there was someone, anyone close by that could protect her, made Brooke feel better. Brooke took a deep breath and shrugged when she asked if she needed help, Brooke was hurt, but she could manage on her own, she always managed hr pain and wounds on her own.

When River didn't help with her wounds and bruises, she would take care of them herself, but her brother was usually there for her. Speaking of her brother, where was he? Brooke got nervous since she hadn't seen him, yet. She didn't even see him before she blacked out, did he die, or is he on the island? Brooke just hoped he was alive, and if so she hoped he wasn't hurt or alone.

Brooke looked back at Caitlin when she said, '' Do you know if anyone else survived by any chance?'' Brooke shook her head as she was kindly assisted to the near by rock by Caitlin. At first she was a little scared, since she was abused by other girls for four years, but seeing that she was the only person she saw right now, she trusted her for now. Brooke didn't know if anyone else did, she hoped so, she didn't like to think of all the other passengers and plane workers dead.

That just made her feel guilty that she lived and they died, she wrapped her arms around herself and sighed. Brooke looked at Caitlin as she leaned against the tree in the shade, Brooke gave her a very, small and slight smile and looked away, the pain in her leg started to come back and she tried to ignore it by looking at things and thinking.

Brook's thinking was then inteupted when she heard a girl's voice yell '' C-c-could you help me?'' Brooke looked away from the water and at the girl, she was younger than Brooke, and her arm was bleeding, really bad. Brooke was about to go and help until she saw Caitlin spring into action. She ran to the girl, ripped part of her shirt off and tied it around her arm. Brooke was shocked, she didn't know that Caitlin could do that, she then moved over as she saw Caitlin bring the girl next to her. Brooke then looked at Caitlin as she looked at Brooke's ankle, Brooke blinked, she tried to figure out what she was thinking. Caitlin walked over to the tree, grabbed to big, strong leaves, ripped off another part of her shirt and wrapped it around Brooke's ankle. When Caitlin did so, Brooke moaned softly at first, then calmed down as the pain quickly left.

Brooke looked at Caitlin and tried to figure out why she would be so nice to a complete stranger and fix her leg. Brooke just looked at Caitlin and said , '' T-t-than-ank y-y-you.'' Brooke quickly looked away and wrapped her arms around her again. She didn't want to talk again, but the words just came out to quickly. Brooke just couldn't just let someone do something nice and not say thank you, it was something she didn't like.

After caitlin was done with that she heard brook say '' T-t-than-ank y-y-you.' Looking over to her she smiled and said to her "No problem, we all have to stick together if we want to survive anyway.. Caitlin said as she went to lean against the tree she was leaning on earlier. As she looked over to the water, she saw the earth curve which signaled they were out pretty far, and no one of contacting anyone with smoke at this time right now, but maybe a ship will see if we can either make or find something useful. She honestly was okay with this right now, she always wanted to go to the beach and this made it easy since she was on one but she'd like to go somewhere she knows they can sleep in a comfy bed, eat and ya know i regular place to go to the beach. She sighed, she wished more people will show up soon, she hopes there are more, but if there's not the three of them could probably work with what they can find, do and build. They are capable, but brooke's ankle would need to heal and the other girls arm needs tending too. Hopefully Caitlin can find something better to fix it with soon, hopefully.

She looked at the other girl and studied her, she was younger by the shape and features of her face, often she liked being somewhat the oldest, but not as often as she'd like too. She was happy there was someone Younger than her, being with someone of a Lower age of her made her feel slightly like a leader. Looking down at the sand caitlin just wanted to think, so she did. It wasn't the perfect time to think but, hey there was really nothing else to do but wait and see if others would find them if not, she'd start on making a shelter for the three of them to sleep in and be safe, dry and comfortable. Well, they probably won't be very comfy but hey we get what we get, in a situation like this.

TJ stayed silent, looking up at the sky. She suddenly started to cough badly. TJ fumbled around in her pocket, looking for something. "Where is it-" She asked, but was cut off by another horrible coughing fit. She coughed up blood. She weakly ran towards the ocean and basically puked up blood before she laid down.

TJ felt terrible. Her arm was probably either broken or dislocated. She needed her pills to stop coughing up the blood, but she must have lost them. She rubbed her temple, her heart pounding loudly. She hoped that everything would wear off soon. TJ tried to remember the ingredients used in the pills. They were for post-head trauma, as her mother dropped her on her head when she was little. The damage never went away.

TJ crouched so her face was inches from the ocean. She hacked some more before she finally stopped. TJ took a deep breath.

Caitlin looked over at TJ as she starting coughing badly. In the blink of an eye she saw her running towards the ocean as she coughed up blood. As she leaned over the ocean she stopped. She ran over to her location and kneed down and asked her "Do you need anything from you bag?" Caitlin said as she pointed to it. She could tell she needed much help and fast. She didn't want anyone dying so soon, she wants to help everyone stay alive for as long as they can take it no matter what happens, she looked at her suitcase and quickly left her side to go get it so she was prepared to get it if she needed anything. Once she got the suitcase over to her side again, she opened it, And looked for some kind of medication she may need to take. She had trouble finding it, than she saw a orange oval and digged for it. Taking it out she looked at it, she didn't know what it was for but she showed it to her, maybe thats what she needed but she honestly didn't know.

Caitlin looked back at Brooke, she looked fine and not needed assistance right now which was a good thing. she looked back at TJ she knew her name since it was on the bottle. She wouldn't have a medication unless it was her's so she knew her name now which was a good thing. As closed her suitcase zipping it back up and setting it aside, to help TJ with anything she may need. She just prayed she would be alright it would be a shame for someone to die so soon. She put her hand on her shoulder and looked in her eye's you could clearly see she was very sick just by her eye's and face. She honestly needed help really bad, if she didn't get help possibly soon she may die and caitlin doesn't want that.

Jason nodded his head when the other male introduced himself. "Alright, Sam it is then." The handshake ended shortly after and Samuel got a bag that had been by the tree. Jason figured it was his, but any bag that could be salvaged from the wreck could be useful. Whatever Jason was to come across, he would definitely pick up and try to make the best of it. He looked around and remembered his parachute. He walked over to it, picked it up, and cradled it in his right arm as if it were a baby.

Samuel spoke up and Jason looked at him. "I don't suppose you saw anyone else on this island did you? I haven't got a clue how long ago...it...all happened, or how long I was in that tree. You've the only other living thing I've seen so far though. Aside from a parrot flying by." He chuckled and shook his head. "No, I haven't. You're the only one I've seen, but I suppose we should go look for the others, if there are any, that is." As he spoke the last words he looked up at the sky again. The sun was still shining, but it seemed the only had a few more hours until nightfall. "We better get going," he spoke as he averted his eyes and focused back on Sam. "we only have a few hours before nightfall and building a shelter is essential, same with a fire. Plus, there may be others that are injured and need to be attended to." Jason spoke with confidence like always, giving orders but doing it so in a nice way. He couldn't stand when others who were in charge snapped at the people who looked up to them. It was ridiculous. Jason made sure he never was one of those leaders. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he was.

He started walking towards the shore line figuring if anyone had landed in the water and were injured, they would only be able to stumble or crawl a short distance. Jason hoped no one was severely injured, but the possibility of them not was extremely slim. In a plane wreck like that it, many people must have been hurt pretty badly. How many and to what extent, he didn't know. Maybe an arm was missing, or a leg. It was highly possible. If one was to be missing a limb, Jason would aid them the best he could, but he didn't know how well that could be. He knew of a few plants that could heal, like Jewelweed. It had many uses. It went from healing poison ivy to burn marks. It's a common backyard plant, so he heard, but out here could it be found? His mind kept wondering around, thinking of what had happened, what may happen, how long they may be on the island for, how many survivors there were - if there were more - and lastly, how long would they be on the island for? Lastly, he thought of all the people that didn't make it. Those poor souls that would never get to see the next day. The young kids that were on that plane would never get to have a family of their own, or get a job. Those older people would never get to see their loved ones again.

The thoughts were too depressing, and they were bringing Jason back to a place he never wanted to revisit. He pushed them away quickly and kept walking. He hadn't realized how slow he was going, but he picked up his pace and scanned the shore lines. His vision was going back and forth between blurry and clear, and his head was still throbbing. He brought his hand up to his head wound and applied soft pressure. The wound was tender and once he brought his hand back to his side he winced. Jason looked at Samuel who seemed to be fine, however he did see him face plant when he was getting out of the tree. "Oh hey, are you alright by the way? You didn't break your face or anything, did you?" Jason smirked and looked out again. His vision was clear as day right now and he planned to take advantage of it. The land before them was calm. He didn't see anyone. No voice were heard. No signs of life anywhere, besides them of course, and the creatures and critters on this island.

They kept walking for about ten or twenty minutes. By now his vision was blurred beyond belief. Jason could barely tell the sky from the ocean, both of them being blue and empty. He couldn't see his own hand in front of him, let alone 10 feet ahead. However, three spots of color, extremely far away, caught his attention. He put his hand out for Samuel to stop and pointed ahead. "Sam, tell me, are those people?" The spots were moving and two were near the water, while the third was near a rock. He squinted his eyes but nothing happened. His vision remained the same. What his eyes lacked, his ears made up for. In the distance, he heard someone cry out for help. He turned around. It seemed to be coming from the opposite side of the island, but not too far away. He couldn't see anything, but he could definitely hear it. "Sam, you go and help those people. I think I hear someone else. I'll catch up when I can." Jason picked up his feet and started off in the direction of the cries for help. He couldn't leave someone alone like that, especially if they needed help.

TJ looked through the bag frantically. "It's not in here!" She panicked. SHe picked up the bottle that Caitlin was looking at. "Nope, allergy medication," SHe muttered. TJ searched through it some more with her one good arm. "Ugh, where is it?" She exclaimed, frustrated. TJ picked up her therapy journal. She stared at it before chucking it into the ocean, sneering at it. She then went back to looking for her pills.

"THanks, but I don't think they're here," TJ apologized, as if it was her fault. She limped slightly towards the forest. "THere were some ingredients I can remember, though, maybe we could replicate it," TJ suggested, pointing towards the forest.

Brooke was just sitting there in silence until she heard and saw the new girl starting to cough. Brooke shrugged it off at first, she just thought that she was just coughing like some one would normally. But, Brooke then got worried when she saw the girl begining to cough up blood. Brooke sat up and was going to ask her if she was okay, but the girl got up and shot to the water like a rocket. She then continued to throw up blood, Brooke felt bad and at the same time, felt sick. Brooke got sick around blood, so she turned her head and looked away. Brooke then looked at Caitlin as she ran after the girl, Brooke smiled and looked around. She then saw Caitlin run up to her and look through the bag that the girl had with her, Brooke stared at her in confusion but was fine when she saw her run back with a pill in her hand.

Brooke tried to best not to wince in pain, as she slowly slid off the rock she was on. Brooke slid off a little too fast and she winced in pain as she landed on the sand and her ankle started to hurt again, and she didn't like it. Brooke straightened up and dusted the sand off, she looked around and slowly started to hobble towards the girls when she heard two guy voices coming a little ways over to her right. Brooke stopped and looked to her right, she saw one guy running down to the other side of the beach, and the other coming towards her at a very slow pace. Brooke noticed that he wasn't walking right, and he seemed to be in slight pain, like her. Brooke looked back at the girls and sighed, she looked back at the guy and began to slowly hobble towards him. Her throat was getting a little dry and she was getting pretty nervous since she didn't want to talk, but she knew she would have to. But what would she say? She couldn't think of anything, plus she didn't want to stutter as she spoke, so as she slowly walked up to him, she tried to think of something to say.

Sylvester would of been seated next to a old married couple, he would be siting at the end at the walking path on the plane he'd put his fingers on the edge of his hat and bow it as he nodded to the couple with a charming smile and they would smile back to him warmly. Despite his loud appearance, dark colours, piercings and tattoos he always had a charm to him that bypassed his appearance and just made him likable, some even envied him and others would be in awe in his presence then there was the people that were homophobic and loved to throw punches at him, he'd hit back of course he was no coward.

He would see the old woman about to talk and he once instantly become attentive, he respected elders and loved to learn about their life so he cupped one hand over the other and smiled.

''Oh, dearie, what happened to your eye? It is awfully bruised.'' Her concern true and he saw the husband turn and look at him with wonder also about to ask the question again but Sylvester cut through.

''Nahh... It is nothin, it was just a guy at a bar acting all tough and well, I respectfully put him in his place is all, thank you for your concern but it is not needed, I am well.'' He would reassure the couple only as he was doing this his thought was...*Well when I say put him in his place it was more beat his head against a wall in a alleyway, dump him at the side of the club for others to see and a ambulance to take care of him.*

He would then sigh then look up at the ceiling of the plane and continue. ''But I do feel bad but sometimes it can't be helped.'' He would look back at them with a sweet smile and they'd seemingly coo and he'd grin sheepishly. ''Oh dearie, you were probably in the right, defending yourself and all, I wouldn't worry about it.'' The old woman would say while wiping her nose in a tissue.

Sylvester would nod at this but all the same his thoughts ran rampaged. *Deserved it? Fucking yes but do I feel bad? Fuck no!*

He would then take his hat off his head then start to settle, resting his head back and closing his eyes, putting his hat on his face and started to drift off into a light sleep as he listened to the air conditioning system above him...

Suddenly what seems like minutes but was about a hour into the flight the smell of smoke filled his lungs despite his hat covering his face and he would feel rough air resistance. He'd frown at this at first, trying to go back to sleep then as he hears screams his eyes open up and he grabs his hat from his face only to see the old couple were no longer there and there is a missing part of the plane and his sleepy eyes would widen. ''What the!? What the hell is happening!?'' He'd shout in a short lived panic as he put on his thinking hat and frowned in determination. ''No shitting way am I dying.'' He'd vow.

He'd strap his parachute on just in time to buckle it as his chair breaks away from the plane. He'd grit is teeth trying to keep calm only to realize his sister was no where to be seen and he'd gasp in air as he unbuckled himself from his seat and started to fall faster and he'd blink looking up frantically for his sister...''Sister!!!'' He'd should as he is suddenly struck with a sharp piece of metal which slices through his right shoulder then exits down his back then parts from him, taking his hat with it and he screams in pain but adrenaline starts bumping and he pulled the parachute's cord with his left hand and it opened and he holds is large injury, panting in pain, he sees his blood flying up and splashing against himself and he only grits his teeth and closes his eyes..

Then everything goes silence and black...

Image
He flinches at the sounds of birds, russling of trees and odd yelps of animals far from his location. He shakes his head at the shifting light that hits then leaves his eyes continuously as the leaves swayed from short breezes in the humid air. He'd feel something wet running down his arm and back, his eyes open quickly and he pants looking down at his blood runs down his arm and drops to the forest floor below from the tips of his right hand fingers.

He only continues to look at it for a moment as the pain shot back and he screams in pain, holding back tears. He'd look around only to see that he was still....airborne but swinging slightly on trees, his right arm hurt too much to move and he didn't even want to think about his back. He would look down at his buckles and hang his head back for a moment. ''Fuck me...'' He'd sigh out with a small sniff as he still held the tears in.

He would look down and reluctantly unbuckle himself and grit his teeth bracing for impact as he fell, not only hard from the height but on his badly sliced up right arm and that was when he screamed out in tears and pain, rolling to the other side only for his back to burn in pain, making even more tears to fall and whines of pain come from him as he held his arm. ''D-Damn it...'' He'd groan out in tears.

He would lie there for a moment for five minutes or more, at this time he didn't care and he would finally slowly force himself up, with many failures as expected for someone in his current condition and which he loathed as he kept falling onto his back that was just as badly injured as his arm and after probably half an hour for failures and small tears he got up and stayed up just barely.

He would be weak, the blood loss affecting his balance and energy levels but at least it slowed a bit which meant to his knowledge, that no major arteries were severed and he sighed in relief from this and the fact that he was on his feet though as he started to walk he started to feel a overwhelmed feeling to sit down and sleep though he knew would be bad idea and so he started to shout out to others if anyone...''Hello!? Anybody!? I need help!? I!...I'm no feeling so hot here!? Anybody!?'' He'd continue to scream this as hard as he could only to fall against a tree, a small trail of blood behind him and a swipe of blood on the tree as he slowly started to sink to his knees, resting against the tree holding his arm. ''Anybody!? I... need...help..'' He would blink a couple of times as his vision distorting and he only struggled to keep them open then nothing...

His eyes would close and he would slide against the tree and onto the forest floor with a sigh as he went into unconsciousness..

Brooke looked around and swallowed hard. She was about five feet away from the guy walking towards them, when she saw the other leave a girl and went into the woods. Brooke took a deep breath and hobbled towards the girl lying down. Brooke sighed and stepped near her, she said in a soft voice, '' Y-y-you'll b-be o-okay.'' Brooke smiled and stood next to her. She winced as the pain shot up her leg, Brooke took a deep breath and said, '' M-my na-ames Br-bro-ooke. Y-you ar-are?'' Brooke took a small step back and waited for the girl to reply. Brooke took her dry hoodie and put it back on, for some reason she was getting cold, she just hoped her leg wasn't getting infected. If it was, she would have to loose it, something she didn't want.

Brooke looked back at Caitlin and T.J. They were still by the water, Brooke smiled and looked back at the girl. Brook was nervous as heck, so many girls and she hasn't seen her brother yet. She was just hoping that he survived and he would come and get her. Brooke wasn't used to being around so many people, since the beating and abuse she went through. And the sad thing is, her parents never knew, they might never know because of what happened. Brooke just wants to let her parents and family know that she's still alive, for no. And what happened to her over the years.
