History
He grew up in a well to do family, not rich, but certainly not poor. His father raised him with a lot of discipline, which was always claimed to be because that was what it was like in the real world. His mother was more on the easier side, and they had three kids, David being the oldest with two younger sisters. Once he completed high school, he went to college and studied to be an architect, and eventually found his wife there. They married a year after college ended and then had two kids of their own who are now 13 and 9.
Personality
He is very headstrong and stubborn at times. He is a pretty easy going guy, but can be offensive at times and judgemental. David can also be quite negative at times, and is a glass half empty kind of guy. David has a bit of the attitude of his father, who fought in the war and treated his kids with discipline and could be very cold at times. Though he is like his father, he is much milder than his father.
