Male

A strict beginning-of-the-20th century suit, worn gracefully and comfortably.

Georg Cantor is one of the best minds to grace the mathematics of the 20th century, however the most interesting part of his work (which constitutes a great part of his personality) is its philosophical implications. Though born is St. Petersburg, Cantor spent most of his life in a town called Halle and worked in its university for almost all his life. His mathematical research of infinity attracted great controversy and had very many opponents, but far too few followers, even though eventually he was proven to be in the right.

Cantor had been admitted to an asylum at several times in his life and still continued to work even in such institutions. He had several children, one of whom passed away before him, carrying with himself a great part of Cantor's passion for life.
