Being apart of the Jock social clique at PCA it is no surprise that Brianna is an addict when it comes to her love of sports. She is into all kinds of sports from the so-called girly sports like tennis, volleyball, cheerleading, swimming and softball to the not so girly sports like basketball, field hockey, cross country as well as track & field. Since she was a little girl Brianna has always loved animals whether big or small, scaly or furry she adores them all. As an athletic being and staying in shape is a matter of great importance and one of Brianna's main priorities, for reasons outside of sports. However, for the part that sports does play in her wanting to stay in shape she doesn't see how she could do the things that she loves if she was an obese oompa loompa. She loves celebrating the holidays both the major ones such as Christmas and the minor ones like St.Patrick's day. Holidays are just a time for fun and friends and hopefully really good food. Her liking of video games and something she completely blames on her brothers and while she doesn't play them all that often due to her busy schedule of games and practices they are one of the few things that can keep her sane when she's spending hours indoors.
In truth jock fashion Brianna is a winner who loves to win. Any jock that doesn't play to win is not a true jock and they need to reexamine their life because something just isn't right there. Brianna is a silly person and she likes to be just that. She enjoys watching movies. Her favorite genres are actions and comedies or combinations of the two. The friendships that she's made at PCA mean the world to her and the people that she are the closet to are the people in her social circle. Her fellow jocks are like a second family to her. Sometimes she loves them and sometimes she can't stand them but at the end of the day she wouldn't want to lose any of them. Cooking is something that Brianna has been doing since she was little and got her first easy bake oven. She loves discovering cooking and baking and mostly eating but she still enjoys the process that leads up to eating. Do not be fooled by the flat tummy and curves because Brianna diet goes far beyond salads, rice cakes and water. If she had to say something she enjoyed doing outside of playing sports it would have to be singing. As a little girl she had also enjoyed singing and she liked performing in front of her family and friends.

While she has no issue with a regular doctor's office or a clinic Brianna does not do hospitals. As a preteen Brianna developed an eating disorder and was hospitalized and placed into a hospital. She hated ever part of it from the odd smell, to the the tiny tvs that never played anything good to the disgusting food. She understands that not every guy in the world has muscular biceps and a six-pack that you just wanna stare at for hours but when your a guy and your boobs are the same size if not bigger than hers there is a problem. She doesn't like seeing guys with tits and if your a guy with tits you are in depressed need of a good workout and a bra. Surprisingly although Brianna is a total girl when it comes to romance she doesn't like chick flicks. That just all seem so unrealistic and they make her depressed because she knows that what she's watching play out on the screen will never play out in real life. Its just unnecessary torture. While she has a passionate love for the sports that she plays she will admit that there are so boring ones out there. Bowling, Fishing and Golf are three sports they could get rid of forever and she would not care. Natural disasters like tornados, hurricanes and earthquakes scare her. Just the fact that at any giving time something like that could strike is really unsettling.
Failing in general is something that Brianna dislikes, whether that means her classes or losing a game or just failing life overall Brianna is not okay with it. Being benched is just the absolute worst thing in the world and she hates when she is forced to sit out and all she can do is watch from the sidelines. It's simply awful. That along with people who smoke. She hates it when she's outside just enjoying the fresh air and some douche-bag comes along with one of their cancer sticks and they just start polluting her air. Its even worst when she's just walking down the street and some random person in front of her starts smoking and the smoke just hits her in her face. It just makes her want to slap the shit out them because its just rude. Aside from the smokers the people who are heavy into the drugs and alcohol she isn't a fan of. Personally for her she just doesn't do it because she won't risk it effecting her performance when it comes to her games as the second she spills up she won't be going to PCA anymore. She gets that people just wanna have fun but if your popping pills to the point that you need your stomach pumped or drinking to the point that you can't even remember what happened the night before you probably need to slow down on the fun and check yourself into rehab.
As a child Brianna went through a period of serious obesity and it was just a horrible experience. She was picked on like crazy and because of that she became really guarded and depressed. That lead to her becoming bulimic and let's just say its been a long hard fought road to get to where she is today. One of reasons that she gained so much weight as a child is because she loved food and she still loves food and she hates bad food. If you can not cook or you think you can cook yet your food is coming out burnt or raw or just tasteless just please when Brianna comes over either let her bring the food or order takeout. Brianna hates fake people she doesn't see the point in being fake because you can only fake who you really are for so long before your true colors surface. Brianna also hates conceited people. She is all for people having confidence in themselves but conceited people just rub her the wrong way and are all types of annoying. Like really get over yourself because I've been over you since the moment you opened your mouth. As far as bullies go her own personal experience with bullies has giving her a great distain for people who bully other people.
~ Relapsing - After everything she been through to finally now be in a happy and healthy place she is afraid of relapsing. It has taken her years to overcome her eating disorder and now she is just trying to stay focus on school and sports.
~ Losing her Scholarship - Unlike some of the other students at PCA Brianna parents couldn't afford to send her here. She's at the school on a scholarship and she is fears losing it as without a scholarship she can't attend PCA.
~ Failing - Brianna doesn't come from a family of money and if she can't keep her scholarship and receive one that will take her to college she doesn't know what she will do. Sports is her ticket to better life not only for her but for her entire family. The pressure of failing for her is real because she doesn't have a real plan B.
Brianna doesn't like drama, she doesn't start drama and she doesn't want to be apart of anyone's drama. Drama for her leads to stress and stress just leads down a road of bad things which she rather not deal with. This is why Brianna is so carefree about everything and she just wants to have a good time and be silly and free and not care. She enjoys being herself and just being random at times. One minute she could be talking to you the next she is just dancing for no reason without any music or anything. She likes just being around her friends having a good time.
Brianna is crazy competitive and really ambitious when it comes to things she is passionate about. She is very self-critical and an overachiever who pushes herself to do and be better at everything that she does. The pressure she puts on herself can really do a number on her self-esteem but she doesn't allow other people to see when she is going through things. Brianna is the type of person who holds it all together when in public but the moment she by herself she'll have an emotional break down before ultimately picking herself up and pushing forward. Brianna triggers all of her emotions of anger, sadness or whatever she is feeling into her games. It allows her to get it out of herself without having to talk about it. Brianna has many insercuties bottled up within herself that stem from junior high school experiences. She chooses not to talk about them and just hides it behind her smile.
Brianna is all about her friends and family. Brianna is that friend that will be there for you when you and your roommates get into a really bad fight and you need a place to crash or she'll be there to throw ice water on you to get you out of bed when you don't want because your feeling depressed or lazy. She is bluntly honest with everyone but especially her friends not because she's a bitch but because she cares. She'll do anything for the people that she loves so if you have her love hold on to it tight because if you do you will have a friend for life.
Finally having the daughter that she had wanted her mother was elated that she could now do things with her daughter that she couldn't make her sons do with her. Being the only girl she was the apple of her mother's eye and daddy's little girl so its no surprise that she was spoiled by both of her parents. As a little girl her mother always dressed her in the most girly clothes she could find and she enrolled Brianna into things like ballet and gymnastics. Her mother also brought Brianna her own special toys so while the boys had there video games, action figures and balls Brianna was given barbies and baby dolls, kitchen and tea sets along with stuffed animals.
While Brianna's mother did what she could to try and mode Brianna into a perfect little lady things didn't go as plan. While Brianna tried her best to be the sweet young lady her mother was trying to raise her to be living in a house with five older rowdy brothers made that really hard. Whether it was jealously, boredom or just boys being boys her brothers always seemed to have the most fun when torturing their baby sister. They would dismember her baby dolls, melt her barbies and just drove her crazy. When she was really young she would just cry but as she got older she started holding her ground and fighting back.
Her brothers brought a revengeful and mischievous side out of Brianna and whenever they broke her things she would get back at them by doing worse things to get back at them. This created world war 3 in her house most days and somehow through all the fighting with her brothers she ended up having a really close bond with each of them. A respect was established between the siblings and the war slowly drew to an end. Although at there ages the opposite sex had all types of cooties they risked the possible exposure and instead of it always being the boys doing one thing and Brianna doing another they all began to hang out and play together.
With her being the only girl its no surprise that she was always out voted when it came to time to pick the games to play. Instead of playing pretend with her baby dolls or opening up a fake restaurant with her kitchen set Brianna started playing basketball and touch football with her brothers and the other little boys in her neighborhood. Dolls and dress up became a thing of the past and Brianna started getting involved in sports and started beating the crap out her brothers whenever they played wrestling. She enjoyed doing the things that her brothers did and although her mother was thrilled about it she didn't push when she saw her daughter turning into one of the boys.
Her freshman year of junior high school was when things started becoming complicated in her life. She started going through puberty and she was an early developer in that realm of things. This drew attention to her from guys who were being driven by their sudden hormone boost and girls who envied her. Brianna wasn't use to hate that was thrown her way and junior high girls could be some real bitches. They teased her and called her names and they just made her life hell because of things she couldn't control. Her friends became her enemies and Brianna sought comfort from her family as well as from food.
When she started packing on the pounds it just gave the girls who hated her more ammo and things just got worst. Brianna became really depressed and began starving herself and exercising like crazy as she became desperate to get the weight off. When the weight started coming off Brianna was the only one oblivious to the fact that she was losing weight. She became paranoid about her weight loss obsessing and freaking out anytime she gained ounce of weight. Her doctor was concerned about Brianna's eating habits and he had questioned her about whether or not she had been eating and of course she had lied and said that she was. The doctor hadn't believed her and asked that her family observe her to make sure she eating.
Not being able to avoid eating with her family watching her hawks she did began eating again at that time. However, she never allowed for the food to stay in her system. She started binging and purging every time after she ate and while her family thought she was getting better she was only getting worst. Things quickly deteriorated from there and before long Brianna was lying in a hospital bed, which was anything but a fun experience. She was hospitalized for a couple of weeks and immediately after being discharged her parents went into full recovery mode. Although her family couldn't really afford it they managed to get her a counselor, a nutritionist and had her placed in a support group from young girls who also suffered with eating disorders.
When it was time for her to return to school things hadn't change but instead of letting it get to her Brianna just threw all her energy into playing different sports. She had never had a particular favorite and she was talented at many and she just started joining different teams in her school. Becoming part of a team did gain her some friends she never really trusted them because of pass events. During her last year of junior high she was offered a scholarship to PCA. Wanting to get as far away from the people that she went to school with she accepted the scholarship.
~ Her Jeep: Although sophomores aren't allowed to have cars Brianna has a beautiful silver and blue ’08 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that she keeps at her family's house in the garage. Brianna has recently just gotten her learners permit so when every she can squeeze it into her hectic schedule she goes out for driving lessons during the weekend. When she first got the car it was far from in mint condition but with the help of her parents money and her brothers grease monkey skills the jeep is really coming together. So far she has managed to replace the engine and do so much needed work on the interior and she is hoping by the time she becomes a senior her car will be ready to come with her to PCA.
~ Eating Disorder: The last time Brianna had a relapse was at the start of her freshman year at PCA. Everything was new to her, she was missing her family and trying to adapt to the boarding way of life was stressful for her. Plus the fact that such beautiful girls went to PCA did nothing for her already troubled self-esteem. Fortunately for herself she was able to pull herself together and turn things around before it got really serious and since then she has been fine. The pressure to stay in shape combined with her self-esteem issues and stress is what usually causes her to slip back into her old ways.
~ Bilingual: Brianna has a Mexican father and a Filipina mother. She knows both English and Spanish and can speak them both fluently. She mainly only talks in Spanish when she's talking with her parents as that is their native tongue and its easier to communicate with them that way. As far as with her brothers and friends she usually only speaks English. At times she'll go from speaking one language to other without noticing it just because she's so comfortable with both.
