Personality:
Scarlett always smiling and being friendly/nice to people. Scarlett believes deep down in her heart that even if you dislike someone so much, you can never let them drown in sorrow while you're okay because that just means you're as low as them. So, if you see Scarlett helping out an enemy (such as a Socialite) its because of that. Scarlett tries her best every single day to keep a smile on her face; though with all the hatred she gets she finds it harder each day to keep it. She is a really outgoing and fun person to hang out with but since she studies than go to social events her circle of friends is really small due to how much she studies. Though she prefers to keep her circle of friends, based on her observations the more friends she has the harder it is to keep up and stay out of drama/gossip. Scarlett does not want to be distracted in gossip/drama when she should be focusing on getting into a good college.

If you walked in a room and see a student doodling around her notes yet at the same time paying very closely attention to the teacher that would most likely be Scarlett. She has a knack for doodling/drawing & photography, but she never fully pursued it as a career and wanted to focus more on grades & college. If you ever do go up to her and ask about her drawings/doodles Scarlett will automatically deny it. She prefers her artsy side of her hidden and out of the shadows most of the time. Though at times you may catch her in the hallways with her drawing book or polaroid camera.

How she ended up in the nerd clique was of course, being at the top of her school (academic wise) and avoiding social events to go studying in her dorm instead. If you first approached her, you would mistake her as one of those art freaks. Most of times when she's not carrying around her drawing book or polaroid camera she would be carrying books. Lots and lots of books. Scarlett also has a huge thing for books, and visits the library very often but prefers to read outside in nature under a tree.

History:
There’s not much to tell about Scarlett. She lives an ordinary life with two siblings (one older brother in college and one younger sister in elementary school) and two happy parents. With an older brother who’s a genius going to Princeton University, her parents have extremely high expectations for her to do the same or even better. Having the weight of doing beyond amazing in school and the bullying with other classmates Scarlett still manages to stay nice and upbeat.

In middle school Scarlett had managed to graduate at the top of her classes and was sent a letter from PCA Academy offering a full ride scholarship. She immediately accepted the offer, in hopes of continuing her streak of outstanding grades at a private school. Four years later in her final senior year, Scarlett continues to be at the top of her classes but she struggles to keep it up high (though, no bad grades have showed up) with the weight of her parents pressuring her to do even harder and the increased amount of bullying towards her for being a nerd.

Aside from all the high grades, Scarlett enjoyed drawing and art from ever since she was born. She just had a natural talent for it, but with wanting to live up to her parent’s expectation of becoming a doctor Scarlett’s dreams of becoming a professional artist were abandoned. Although if you catch her at the right times, you may spot a few doodles and drawings here and there. Same goes for her knack at taking pictures and interest in photography. Her parents never thought that pursuing a career in art or photography will get Scarlett anywhere so she is pressured to be the same as her brother and be involved in Business/Financial Corporations or become a lawyer like her parents.

Anything else:
She would be considered as one of the Art Freaks but Scarlett is too focused on grades, tests, books, and college of course.

So begins...

Its been a week since school began. Some students have fully unpacked and decorated their dorms, others still have boxes littering their dorms. The first two weeks of school is supposed to be spent getting orientated with the school before classes start the following week. The first week was spent with students being dropped off throughout the week, students signing up for clubs and getting their sport gear, and roommates getting acquainted. Now its the second week. Students will be going to their clubs and sports. For now most students are either waking up and getting ready for the day, in the lounges, or eating breakfast in the quad, picnic tables, or the caf.

Donna had awoken early that morning, she yawned careful not not to wake up Arielle before slipping into their bathroom. She slipped into the shower going through her morning ritual of her body was, body scrub, facial cleanser, facial scrub, and facial moisturizer. She usually washed her hair every other day since it was so thick and she didn't want it to break off but she used her luxury vanilla scented conditioner every day. She came out thoroughly refreshed before beginning to brush out her luscious, thick, glossy brown hair. She then straightened it until it was pin straight and ended just above her back dimples. She came out the bathroom in her lacy under garments before spraying her signature custom made scent of honey suckle, which she made at a perfumery in Paris, into the air and stepping into letting it gently cover her whole body without it being over bearing. She then walked over to her mirror and applied a bit of light makeup that only made her seem a little dewy.

She glanced around the room. She added a bit of things. She up a collage of mirrors on one small wall of the room as well as a collage of her friends. She also hung up a big photo of her and Arielle that took up half a width of wall space and was placed in the middle of the wall. The picture was from the top of the wall to the bottom. She also had pictures of herself on her trips. hung up on the wall.

She walked over to the closet and picked out an outfit. Since she and Arielle practically wore the same size tops and shoes they out their clothes all together in the closet, wardrobe, and dresser.. Plus it was easy to tell their bottoms apart with Donna's shapely toned legs and Arielle's petite size. She picked out a classy yet sexy
outfit and put it on. She walked over to one of the dozens of mirrors in their room, this one a full length and checked herself out. The simple silk tank hugged her nicely sized chest well, the blazer fit snug and accentuated her tanned skin, and the lace shorts showed off her shapely toned legs; Everything was perfect.

She sneakily leaned over Arielle and purred "Wake up doll," Before skipping out of the room slamming the door on her way out. She walked over to the quad where the coffee stand where the coffee stand was was and Brazilian roast back coffee, that she begged her dad to stock the school up with as a surprise for Lucas when he mentioned it once, for Lucas. She headed to the cafeteria then and bought A diet coke for Arielle and a regular coke for Ashton. She also bought herself a strawberry smoothie. She also bought one of each of the twelve pastries. She quickly went back in the room and set the diet coke and a pastry on the nightstandalong with a note that said "Love you doll, going to the boy's room. Meet me there.-Bee" before heading to Ashton and Lucas's room. She had her own key and was about to open the door when she was interrupted.

A girl came out of her room, a girl clad in a pink blazer and a pink and brown plaid skirt who had bleached blonde hair and dark tanned skin. A girl Donna knew as Crystal, daughter of a widowed gold digger who married a millionaire when she was twenty one and he was seventy. "O.M.G Donna, hey!" She squealed prancing up to Donna in the summer Jimmy Choo's. She glanced at Donna's which were the early release Winter Jimmy Choo line "How.Did. You. Get. Those?!" She girl screeched. Donna resisted the urge to cover her gold hoop clad ears with her french manicured hand. "Oh I have my ways," Donna said coyly. The girl covered her hear, well more like her implant filled chest with her own crystal and plastic rose manicured hand. "I so envy you," The girl said pouting her baby pink lips. She blew Donna a kiss before retreating in her dorm making Donna roll her eyes.

Donna opened the door to Ashton and Lucas's room and set the drinks and pastries on a table. She walked over to their window and opened the curtains and blinds before commanding "Wake up!" She said sitting down in one of the chairs and crossing her legs " I brought breakfast." She said in a sing-song voice sweetly. She pulled out her phone and texted Jennifer.
To: Jenny
Morning biatch!Get your ass to Lucas and Ashton's room if you want a pastry.

She focused back on the boys and pointed her finger across the hall "What's up with barbie girl over there. This is a exclusive dorm for a reason. There's nothing classy about.." She rolled her eyes "That. She should be in Persephone." She tilted her head "No worries,I'll fix that later." She said with a coy smile. Donna's sophomore year, when Donna wasn't Queen and was dating a rebel who graduated her Junior year, Crystal decided to sleep with him. Information she found out over the summer when one of Crystals ex friends told her at a party. She was thinking of the right way to punish her and here it was. She bit into a chocolate pastry as she plotted in her head.

Arabella was an extremely heavy sleeper, the only way she could be woken up is by food and her annoying alarm clock. Food was one of her true loves, and it just so happens that at the word of food Arabella wakes up. She thinks its because every time she falls asleep with an empty stomach, so "supposedly" her stomach is just so hungry for food the next day it makes Arabella wakes up at the mention of food. Strange theory, but Arabella only means it as a joke.

Arabella had stayed up late the previous night trying to finish a book series she recently started. Ignoring the fact she had school the next day, Arabella didn't fall asleep until she finished the very last page. By the time she did finish, it was already two o'clock in the morning forgetting to set the alarm clock the previous night.

She heard someone calling out her name in her dream, and a bunch of muffled words that she couldn't understand. Assuming its just her strange dream, she snuggled closer to her pillow. A few minutes later, she heard someone say "I go food for heaven's sake!" Arabella immediately jolted up from the bed looking around saying, "Food?! Where?!" She heard a female voice laughing and saw Kennedy looking down at her. Arabella sighed, "No food?" noticing Kennedy wasn't holding any breakfast. She looked back at the clock and yelped before Kennedy could respond, "Oh dear! I didn't realize I slept in this late. Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh dear." Arabella jumped from the bed still in her pjs and rushed over to go brush her teeth. "Oh how I hate waking up late. Stupid alarm clock."

After a few minutes, Arabella changed into her clothespairing it with her lucky grey converses and put up her hair. By the time she was done with her makeup (lipstick, eye shadow, mascara, and curled her lashes. Scarlett prefers to keep it simple) she noticed the food and beverages next to her clock. "So, you did bring food?...Oops?" Arabella giggled as she turned towards Kennedy.

One of the cons of dorming alone was that she was forced to be woken up alone by her annoying alarm clock. It was bright and somewhat early in the morning when Scarlett was woken up by her alarm clock. Groaning, she gently turned off her alarm then reluctantly got up and stood up stretching. "Ugh, I hate waking up in the mornings." She muttered walking over to the sink and brushed her teeth. Then changing out of her pjs into her clothes and did her hair like this. Scarlett rarely takes a shower in the morning because she values her sleep and prefers to take a shower in the evenings.

After she got all dressed up, she began with her makeup. She doesn't like caking her face on with a ton of makeup and simply just put on lipstick, eye shadow, mascara, and curled her lashes. Though, Scarlett claims she looks horrid without any make up on and musts put on some make up but not too much. She doesn't like feeling like a clown with so much make up on like some girls do.

Scarlett headed over to the cafe and doing her usual morning routine. She ordered two muffins, one orange juice, and a coffee. Afterwards, she noticed a couple students from class and waved hi to them while smiling. Then made her way towards her childhood best friend's dorm, Riven Mantra, carrying the two muffins and orange juices. She gently knocked on his door and waited patiently outside the door while eating her muffin savoring each and every bite. Hearing no movement behind the door, she decides to open the door and sees Riven laying on his bed still sleeping. Scarlett sighs and sees Louis' note for Riven. She places the muffin and cup of coffee on the table and tip toes quietly toward Riven. "Riven! Riven! Wake up! Riven wake up!!" She shakes him gently while smiling.

It was her typical morning routine like every other day unless she woke up later than usual. On those days, instead of her waking up/stopping by Riven's room it'd be Riven waking her up.

Riven Mantra
Image

Riven laid awake most of the night staring at the ceiling through narrowed eyes and listened to the silent, settle movements of Louis throughout the night. He'd always had sleeping problems for whatever reason, but he brushed them off most of the time. Oddly enough, it never seemed to dampen his one set mind. He'd finally had gotten to sleep in the wee hours of the morning. For every year he's been going to this godforsaken school he'd always get nervous to some extent. When he'd fallen asleep, he dreamt of rather childish dreams of meeting the superheroes from his comics and such. He even dreamt that he was Spiderman, though Superman was by far his favorite superhero.

After a while of sleeping, he felt someone shake him slightly and he knew exactly who it was. Scarlett Ann Rey, better known as one of his favorite childhood friends. He might even go as far to call the girl a best friend. This was a daily routine he knew far too well. Upon registration of Scarlett's words, and after blinking far too many times a minute, he slowly sat up, mumbling "I'm awake. I'm awake." Once fully sat up, revealing his usually bed wear of a plain grey tee shirt and athletic shorts that went down to his knees, he ran a hand throw his thick hair then rubbed the little sleep from his eye. If there was one thing Riven was, it wasn't a morning person. He's never been a morning person.

Once more awake than not, the smell of food hit him pleasantly and a quirky smile, the only way to really describe his smile, appeared on his face as he looked over at Scarlett. "So, what's for breakfast?" He asked, withholding any hint of a chuckle in his voice.

Cali Hawks

Just like almost everyone at PCA, Cali woke up to the buzzing of the alarm clock. It took a few buzzes to actually get to her, in which she cursed under her breath, sat up, and turned the thing off. Before doing anything, she laid back down on her back with a small groan. She really didn't want to get up, just wanted to go back to sleep and let the world go on without her. Letting out a long sigh she climbed out of bed in a very lazy fashion. Looking over at Marley tiredly, she walked over to the other girl and kneed the side of the bed slightly. "Wake up, Mar-mar." She said, more tiredly than it seemed, than gave up and went to get herself situated.

After taking the time to pick out a suitable outfit, she went into the bathroom and got ready for the day, taking care of all the necessities, which included hair and makeup. She didn't really wear much makeup, just some eye makeup and maybe some lip-gloss, but that's about it. After fixing herself up for the day, she walked out of the bathroom and walked over to pick up her phone, gum, and sketchbook. Glancing over at Marley still in bed with a cocked eyebrow for a moment, she rolled her eyes slightly. "You're going to have to wake up sometime." This was said mostly as a side note than a statement. Either way, it was the truth, in her eyes anyways.

At that, she walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her. She let out a breath as she looked down the hallway and ran her hand through her hair, her free hand holding all her stuff. After a short moment, Cali started walking down the hall while she slid her phone into her back pocket along with her gum then headed to the cafeteria. Once there, she ordered herself a coffee, not really feeling all that hungry at the moment, then sat down at a table and sipped on her coffee as she looked throw her sketches.

After a couple minutes of trying to wake Riven up, he slowly woke up taking his sweet time. He was never really a morning person, just like herself. He mumbled, "I'm awake," a couple times before sitting up completely and running his hands through his hair. Scarlett giggled at the sight and walked over to his chair taking off her blazer. Folding it neatly, then placing it on the chair knowing Louis would freak out at the sight of a wrinkled blazer resting on the chair. Scarlett leaned back on the desk yawning then glanced up at Riven. She noticed he was fully awake and smiling, with the lop-sided grin he always does, at the aroma of the food. He finally spoke up appearing to withhold any laughter, "So, what's for breakfast?"

"Well," Scarlett giggled while picking up a muffin and coffee, "Now that Sleepy Head has finally awaken, here's a muffin and cup of coffee." She walked over gently grabbing his hands and placing the muffin into his palm then the cup of coffee into the other. "Eat fast. Go change. Do your guy stuff or whatever." Then ushered him out of the bed with the muffin and coffee in his hands.

"That's only a breakfast snack. We still haven't had our full breakfast with all the nutritional value we need. We'll head back down to the cafe to go get a REAL full breakfast that provides all the grains, fruit, and etc after you're done. Hurry." She ranted while slipping out out of light pale pink flats with bows. Scarlett laid down on Riven's bed wrapping herself with the blankets yawning, "I'm gonna sleep!" Scarlett rest her head down on the pillow and shuffled around getting comfortable. "I always have to wake up ten minutes earlier than you." She yawned once more, "I want to sleep the ten extra minutes you got." Then closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep.

Riven Mantra
Image

Ooh, a muffin. Riven thought happily as Scarlett placed the muffin in his hand and the coffee in the other. Coffee. If coffee was a person, it would be Riven's very best friend. He could not live without coffee. Now, he's not a coffee-holic, but he does need a very good amount of coffee in the morning before he starts the day. Without it, he'd probably have a hard time tolerating most people.

Riven already had the muffin half eaten before Scarlett started ushering him to get dressed and all so they could go get some real breakfast, which sounding awfully pleasant to Riven. As long as he's not bothered that is. He sat the coffee down on the table, after taking a sip of it, then ate the rest of the muffin as he searched for some clothes. Upon finding an outfit and putting it on, feeling thankful for the fact that Scarlett was laying down trying to catch some more shut eye, he sat down in the chair by the desk and looked at the small stack of books he had on it. He's made a habit of carrying a book around everyday to read on. He had also brought a box full of his first addition Marvel and DC comics, most of them being Superman, Batman, Spiderman, and X Men. See, unlike most guys who refer to their car or truck or bike their 'baby', Riven's comics were like his babies. His first-addition in mint-condition babies that every collector wants.

Anyways, Riven read the title of the books upon is desk. 'Life Expectancy' By Dean Koontz. 'An American Tragedy' by
Theodore Dreiser. 'IT' by Stephan King. 'Gone With The Wind' by Margaret Mitchell. 'I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings' by Maya Angelou. 'Invisible Cities' by Italo Calvino.
Riven read each title, thinking about which would be a good book for the day. Out of everything, he decided to go with an all time favorite. 'IT' by Stephan King. Though, Riven is terrified of the movie, he thinks the book has a certain...taste about it that he finds amusing. Holding the book close to his side and sipping on his coffee, he walked over and looked at Scarlett in his bed and shook his head slightly. "Alright, Scarlett, let's go get some real food now, shall we?" He said, poking her slightly with the hand that held the book.

Scarlett felt a poke on her shoulder sharply waking her up. She sighed with her eyes still closed, "You're done already?" She sat up straight rubbing her eyes slightly adjusting to the light. When her eyes fully adjusted, she finally noticed the cover picture realizing it was Riven's book with the scary clown on it. "How do you like that book?" She sighed shaking her head, "It gives me the creeps just by looking at it."

She shifted over to the edge of the bed, and slipped her ballet flats on sighing. Scarlett looked up from her shoes, seeing her hair in a mess on mirror directly across from her. "Ugh, no. My hair." She groaned using her fingers to brush out her hair and clipping the bow back in her hair. Turning her head slightly checking to see if she messed up or not, no errors. Satisfied with her head, she walked over to the chair and slipped her red blazer on with ease. Then grabbed her half finished muffin and orange juice in each hand, began a mental check list.

Noticing she had everything she needed, Scarlett begin walking toward the door doing another mental check list to check again to be a 100% positive she had everything. Scarlett hates forgetting things and then having to run all the way back to get it when she should've double checked. While taking small bites from the muffin, she thought to herself. Blazer? Check. Shoes? Check. Hair? Check. Food? Check. Everything seems to be here. Looking back and seeing Riven hadn't followed her and mumbled with bits of food in her mouth making it sound like, "Let gur'. Break Fat'. Her' we come.' " Then swallowed all the food with an annoyed look and then yelling again this time, "Let's goooooo. Breakfast! Here we come!"

Riven Mantra

Riven watched as Scarlett sat up and rubbed her eyes, trying to come back to reality from her short sleep. When she asked about the book, Riven just shrugged. He wasn't all too sure what to say. "I just find it interesting I guess." He mumbled. Always mumbling, what a bad habit of his. But, I guess when you're a person like him then you just mumble. He finds himself actually wishing he was less quiet sometimes, or at least that he talked more. But then he pushes those thoughts right back out of his mind, reminding himself that he needs to focus on school and getting his work done more so than thinking about wanting to talk to people.

When Scarlett began to fix her hair, Riven became intrigued with the ceiling. Staring at it as if it was a new species of animal. His brown cocked one way then the other as he just stared at the ceiling, thinking to himself. He wasn't really thinking about anything, just staring. Waiting for Scarlett to stop messing with her hair like a girl. Hearing her mumble something from the door, Riven spun around and looked at her, his brow forward slightly as he was confused. Hearing her second attempt at speaking, he nodded and walk out the door.

Walking down the hallway, Riven looked down at his book. He flipped through the pages a few times and was second guessing his choice of reading material. Shrugging to himself, he realized he really didn't care. It was a book nonetheless. And as long as he had something to read, he'd have something to do when he needed to occupy his mind. "What to do today. What to do today." He mumbled, to himself mostly as him and Scarlett walked along the hall, heading to the cafeteria. That's when he started wondering who was going to be there. He just hoped they wouldn't run into any trouble. Trouble is just so annoying.

"Obviously," Kennedy replied while rolling her eyes, her eyes trailing down to the cover of the book Arabella was holding. "Ooh! You're going to love that book! It's great. So sad, but great. it was hard for me to put it down. You're going to love Hazel Grace and Augustus," She exclaimed before stopping herself from spoiling the book. Arabella giggled at her response, "Well, I can't wait to start it! I'm guessing I'll be needing tissues after I'm done reading this book?" Arabella followed Kennedy out the door slightly closing it. Arabella hated the sound of a wooden door slamming. It made her feel like a child walking into the principal's office to be scold after they closed the door from the rest of the world. The thought of getting her in trouble gave her shivers, she wouldn't be able to stand a chance as a rebel.

"So exactly where are we headed to now? More food, or the library?" A voice interrupted her thoughts, looking up to see Kennedy smiling in the middle of the hall. Kennedy started heading the most obvious direction she would have picked, the library. "The library!! Can't wait to start this book now thanks to you!" Arabella exclaimed while walking have a slight hop to it showing her happiness at the moment. If it weren't for Arabella's good listening ears, she wouldn't have been able to catch Kennedy calling Arabella by her middle name catching Arabella a bit off guard by a new nickname. Her voice began trailing off into mumbles about burning the hat.

Arabella sighed smiling having slight hesitation of what to respond. "We can uh," She spoke quietly looking down at the floor while trying to get into footsteps of Kennedy. "We can burn my fedora hat together if it makes you happy. You are the fashionista.. It was a christmas present from my ex-friend. I don't know why I still have it." Arabella spoke softly sighing. The thoughts of her ex best friend tore her apart. It's what kept her from meeting new people and trusting people too much. She thought a moment to herself feeling even more sad, maybe burning that hat will help me get better.

Whilst walking down the hallway next to Riven, Scarlett was lost in her own thoughts. Her fingers began tapping on the thigh, tapping a random song she heard on the radio yesterday. It was a habit Scarlett always did when she was deep into her thoughts. It wasn't just for any particular thought, it was just all of them in general basically. She wasn't thinking about anything crazily important at the moment. Just random things from schoolwork, photography, to finishing up her last drawing soon. Thinking was another habit she had, though she tends to over think at times.

She was so heavily into her thoughts, Scarlett didn't notice a small edge on the floor where the carpet ends and a new carpet starts. Before she knew it, Scarlett stumbled a bit while cursing herself inwardly. She caught her balance halfway and gotten her footing on the ground. So, the floor wasn't getting a hug from her that day. Scarlett is always clumsy like this, it was just a random thing that all the members in her family had. They each had clumsiness, a bit of a coincidence she might say. Luckily Riven was a feet ahead of her, to her hope he didn't know she tripped.

After she finished inwardly cursing herself, thankful to still see Riven still a feet in front of her. Scarlett blew a breath of relief thinking that Riven hadn't noticed her lagging behind because of the trip. She jogged softly up next to him, and then walking casually trying to meet his strides. He was a couple inches taller than her, but boy did those inches matter. Annoyed by the fact she had to practically jog to meet his strides she finally asked, "May you walk just a bit slower? I may or may not be... I don't know. Too short to meet your strides!" Looking next to her Riven was mumbling at the time, he had an odd habit of doing that. Scarlett laughed shaking her head, but still shaken up by the fall.

They later approached the cafe, Scarlett was once again lost in her thoughts. But if you paid closely attention to her face expression, you could tell she was starving since the muffin wasn't enough to satisfy her. "Yes! Breakfast!" Scarlett exclaimed laughing as they approached the door.

Riven Mantra
Image

Upon hearing Scarlett basically asking him to slow down his walking speed, Riven instinctively walked slightly slower without complaint. He'd even admit he walked a bit fast, he was just used to it. Though he didn't really seem like it, Riven felt like he was always on the run. His mind just kept going on and on about almost nothing really. He hadn't even noticed Scarlett tripping. What a nice friend he is. He shrugged himself from the thoughts about seemingly nothing and looked forward, wondering about what he may eat for breakfast.

Riven jumped slightly, looking at Scarlett with slightly wide eyes as she yelled and laughed. At first, Riven narrowed his eyes and drew his brows in slightly, unaware of why she became excited. It was a moment before her words registered and clarity as to why she decided to be oh so loud washed in. He smiled slightly at the thought of more food as they drew closer to the cafeteria. He walked forward and opened the door, stepping aside to let Scarlett enter first. "After you." He ushered with his quirky smile and waited for Scarlett to enter before he stepped in after her.

Looking over the place, he saw people here and there. Some getting food and walking away. Some getting food and taking a seat. And some already sitting around chatting and such. "Well, off to get some food, I reckon." Riven said, sounding ever so country using a phrase his grandparents would use often. Normally, he would use precise and well thought out words, but being around someone he's known since childhood puts him less off the preciseness of his speech. He began to the line to get some food, the smell of it making him ever so hungry. He took a glance around to see the familiar sight of Cali sitting over by herself with just a coffee and her sketchbook. Looking away from the sight and over to Scarlett, he shrugged slightly. "I have no idea what to get." He said, almost sounding like a normal human being be still with the slight mumble, as always.

9:00 Thursday, PCA Campus
The students are enjoying their morning breakfast and fellowship as a voice crackles through the intercom, travelling through the many speakers around the campus. "Welcome students to your second week at Pacific Coast Academy I hope you are enjoying yourselves. Today students will be reporting to the following clubs: Cheerleading with Coach Moralla on the football practice field, Girls Lacrosse with Coach Kain on the left lacrosse field, Boys lacrosse with Coach Henry on the right field and Soccer with Coach Mathews, " There's a brief pause before he continues " Now for our clubs: Students in the Art club please report to room 215 in the Art wing with Miss Miyuki, that's by the viewing room. Students in the Debate Team report to room 105 in the English wing with Mr. Mathews, All of our E-Magaziners report to the Fashion design and Journalism room in room 210 in the Art wing." The principal chuckles to himself "And your in for a treat because my darling wife is the teacher," He clears his throat before continuing again " Our Musically gifted students report to the Music Theater where our newest teacher and retired grande pianist Mr. Ford is waiting. All of our Seniors not in these activities you have a free period please remember to sign out if you choose to go off campus. Now we have Miss Craig, our resident event planner" A couple of students cheer. Miss Craig is big deal at PCA since she's actually a party planner for celebrities but since she's a close friend of the principal she also does elaborate dances and events envied by school's all over the country.

"Students guess what is happening tomorrow!" She pauses "Homecoming Dance!" Her peppy voice resonates "Anyway as you know last week you all got to vote for a theme and the winner is...Drum Roll please" She pauses and you can vaguely hear her banging on the table "Oooh I like this Old Hollywood glam. That means bring your dapper suits with your ascots for the boys and your fit tight just right glam cocktail dresses. Oooh I love it! Anyway I also have your homecoming court, how exciting!" You hear her ruffle through some papers "For the Boys we have Blake Everett, Ashton Chambers, Nate Hoffman and Lucas Azevedo Yay! For the girls we have Belladonna Ricci, Kathrine Locke, Arielle Lui, and Marley Livingston. Ok guys that's it for now!" She says as the intercom goes dead. Student start to go to their clubs and sports with homecoming ideas and dates filling their heads.

Arabella was still absent-mindedly staring towards the floor and was smiling after hearing Kennedy's rambling. Kennedy spoke again clearly, "You probably kept the hat for a reason." Which caught Arabella's attention and made her look up from the ground towards Kennedy with a confused expression Why though. Why did I keep it. Why. What's the reason though? Those thoughts floating around and around in her head. She realized her heart would soon start aching and her head wold begin hurting if she thought about her ex-best friend for too long. Arabella finally came to a conclusion and shrugged her shoulders in response, "I honestly...don't know why I kept it after all these years. It isn't much of a fashion statement in your words....Oh well, the hat is history. I agree, it would be best at the back of my closet in a box." Feeling a bit of awkward tension in the air, the two just continued walking along the hallway silently. Although Arabella wanted break the silence didn't have the heart at the moment to speak up and change the topic.

Kennedy seemed to notice the awkward silence and decided to be the who changed the topic, "Hey, I think I asked you this before, but what clubs did you sign up for?" Arabella sighed with relief at the change of topic internally. "Hmm," Arabella paused placing a finger on her lips showing a stereotypical thinking position, "I joined Debate Team and Quiz Bowl! You?" Arabella had glanced up towards the wall but soon found herself admiring all the posters and artwork for a while. Another habit Arabella had, staring off into random space or admiring silly little things. "Oh!" Kennedy smiled, "Is it alright if I call you Arabella Lynn, or just Lynn? I like the names together, or by themselves." Arabella had been busy admiring all the posters along the wall; the sudden “Oh!” from Kennedy caught her off guard. After a couple seconds of realizing what Kennedy had said, Arabella spoke while laughing, “I honestly don’t mind at all. I’m pretty flexible with nicknames. As long as they’re not mean or anything.”

The two were just were just a couple more turns in the hallway from being greeted by the library. As they passed one familiar turn Arabella always walked by to get to the library, a gigantic smile flashed on her face showing her excitement. Her walk began to have a slight hop to it, saying she was excited would be an understatement. They were just soon mere inches from stepping into the library, and Arabella was getting ready to push the door open when the announcements came on. Arabella groaned out loud staring through the doors of the library with a pout when she found out she had to go to room 105. She turned around to Kennedy with a slight pout on her face, “So, I gotta go to Room 105. How about you? Also homecoming's coming up?! Ugh, greeaaat.”

Scarlett was looking at the menu she had gotten from the shelf next to the tables. After a few moments deciding, Scarlett finally decided on strawberry banana pancakes with a bit of whipped cream on top drizzled with syrup on the sides. When Riven mumbled with a bored hungry expression on his face, "I have no idea what to get." Scarlett looked up from the menu just about ready to order, but paused looking over to see Riven and his clueless bored expression. She brought up the menu next to him and asked politely, "Well, they have pancakes, cereal, bacon, eggs, toast, etc. What do you have in mind that you want? I'm gonna go order ahead while you still decide."

Right when Scarlett had ordered her pancakes and gotten her pancakes the announcements went off. Scarlett walked up to Riven holding the plates with a slight pout. "Soo.. you didn't join any clubs did you? I joined Debate Team and Art Club. Quiz bowl isn't having a meeting right now though." Scarlett looked down at her pancakes with a sigh, she was still a bit hungry and wanted to enjoy her actual nutritional breakfast. "Homecoming is coming up too. I'm probably not going..." Scarlett spoke while staring at her pancakes hungrily. "I wonder if I can still finish my pancakes in time. You know what. Just have my pancakes. I gotta goooo." Scarlett rushed out before turning around to go to Art Club.

After a few minutes of walking away from Riven holding the pancakes, Scarlett made a slight change of mind turning around to yell with a grin on her face, "Save me some later!" Then turning back to go to her dorm to get her sketch book and pencils. After grabbing them, she started heading over to Art Club.

Riven nodded slightly at Scarlett as she named off some of the stuff on the menu. He was starting not to even feel hungry anymore. He waited behind Scarlett as she ordered her food, slightly rocking on his heels and looking around. Once she got her food, the announcements started and Riven had noticed that he wasn't even in anything. Shrugging slightly at the announcements, he stepped forward and bought himself an apple before standing back by Scarlett. He vaguely listened to the announcements as he bit his apple. Then, like always, after hearing 'Homecoming Dance!' he started choking.

Luckily, Riven was able to save himself by ponding on his chest. If he hadn't, he could have choked to death! After the announcements ended and Scarlett started talking again, Riven looked over to her, a bit shaken up by his near death experience. Hearing question on if he'd joined any clubs, Riven shook his head slightly. Of course he hadn't. He didn't want to bother himself with needing to go to clubs and such. So he just hadn't signed up for anything. Hearing Scarlett say homecoming, his eyes widened slightly and he looked at her, a bit confused. Weren't girls suppose to want to go to homecoming? He thought for a moment. No, not all girls want to. Look at yourself, putting Scarlett into the category of all girls! Shame on you! The annoying voice of his conscience, or at least he thought it was his conscience, spoke critically.

Pulled from his mental battle by Scarlett handing him her pancakes and running off, Riven stood there amount, watched her scurry off, looked down at the pancakes, then back up the way Scarlett was going. The whole time, a fog of confusion wiped his face. He was about to set them down and leave them before he heard Scarlett yell back to save it. So, he asked the lady at the counter for it to go and she put it in a box and Riven headed back to the dorm to go work on some stuff.

After drinking her coffee and getting lost in her sketches, the announcements came on. Cali continued looking through her sketches as she listened to every word and was quiet pleased to hear the Art Club would be meeting. It was the only thing she signed up for. It was one of the only things she cared about. When she heard homecoming, it came with mixed emotions. On one hand, it's a party so she wants to go. But on the other hand, who's she suppose to go with? She sure as hell isn't going alone. Ready to go to Art Club, she stood up and grabbed her sketch book, throwing her coffee out on the way.

She sighed to herself as she walked, not to sure what she was going to do when she got there. Probably just show off her sketches then end up just talking. Yeah, that's usually what happens when you put a few teenagers into a room together. Shaking her head slightly, her eyes drifted across the hallway and she let out another sigh. "I'm really in the sighing mood, ain't I." Cali said to herself rather sarcastically as she went into the room and sat down. She put her sketch book in front of her and put her elbows in the table and looked at the door and waited for someone, anyone, to come through the door so she can at least talk to someone.

As Kennedy says her good-byes, she adds in last minute, "By the way, we have Quiz Bowl together! We'll discuss Homecoming after our clubs?" Before Arabella could reply, Kennedy had just disappeared around the corner already heading over to her club. Oh, Homecoming. My awkward turtle’s nightmare. Arabella isn’t exactly what you describe a social butterfly, in fact, she’s the exact opposite. So, social events such as dances (including Prom) terrify her immensely. Arabella also hates the fact that she would have to dress up in a dress, heels, and have that big pressure to have a date. The social semiformal dance held at the beginning of every year in high school and it would be her first time going (if she does decide to go) since she disappears off to the library during this time the previous two years.

Sighing, Arabella glanced up at the library one last time with a sad expression, then turns around heading over to Room 105 in the English wing. After a couple minutes, Arabella barely glanced down at her watch to make sure she wouldn't be late. But in return, she is greeted by shock after looking at the time and realizes she was going to be late if she kept walking at the same pace. Clutching her book tightly in one hand, and Arabella begins running through the halls stopping every few seconds to catch her breath. A couple minutes later, she slows down to a speed walk when she notices the classroom in eyesight. Arabella pauses in front of the door bracing herself for what comes next. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. It's gonna be alright. Then puts on a smile and walks in greeting Mr. Mathews politely, forgetting about her whole Homecoming situation.

As she surveys around the classroom for a seat she recognizes a familiar face, Louis. Although Arabella is an awkward turtle, she is only like that around unfamiliar people and strangers. If seeing a close friend she is completely willing to go up to that person and start the conversation first; though there are a few exceptions to this. This time isn't one. "Hey Louis. I didn't know you were in the Debate Team!" She smiles playfully before sliding into the seat next to him. Although people have a hard time understanding Louis since his vocabulary is extremely complex, Arabella likes learning new complex words to add into her vocabulary. Arabella gets comfortable in the seat then prepares herself for his lengthy complex response with her ears alert and her eyes on him.

On her way to Art Club Scarlett began tapping on her sketchbook with her pencil with her mind wandering off. Homecoming, it’s almost as bad as Prom. It’s my senior year though, I should be spending/living it to the fullest. Going the extra mile, all that senior junk. But. Schoolwork. Gahh, what am I thinking? College is just around the corner. But. It’s my last year of high school. But. I don’t even have a date. Scarlett’s thoughts went back and forth like this before finally deciding on going only if she had date. Which she highly doubts she would even be able to get one, which shouldn’t be a problem since she’s not completely positive if she wants to go.

By the time Scarlett made up her mind, she was already right in front of room 215. Snapping out of her thoughts before she ran into the door, she took a deep breath. Then clutching her sketchbook tightly against her chest with the cover hidden. Scarlett didn’t want to make it extremely oblivious she had a sketchbook and her passion for drawing. Few people knew about it, so she figured joining the art club wouldn’t hurt. Then slowly walked in the classroom feeling a bit hesitant about if she should had joined Art Club or not.

“Hello Miss Miyuki!” greeting the teacher then looked around for a seat. Art club hadn’t begun yet so there were hushed tones of chitter chatter among the students. Choosing one by the window, she strolled up to her seat slowly. Window seats were the best in her opinion. You’d had something to look at besides the same old boring posters they always had on walls. Placing her sketchbook and pencils neatly on the desk she slid into the chair with ease getting comfortable of where she's sitting. She propped her elbow against the desk and rested her head on her hand. Scarlett glanced around the classroom with a bored expression looking for any friends while tapping on her sketchbook with her other free hand.

Her eyes stopped on the only other familiar face she knew, Cali Hawks. Scarlett had two choices, to be a loner in Art Club or hang out with at least one other person. She chose the later, picking up all her things and slid right into the seat next to Cali. “Hey Cali. So I guess we’re both in the Art Club together.” Scarlett smiled stating the obvious in attempt to start a conversation between the two. “What other clubs did you sign up for?” She asked while neatly arranging her sketchbook and pencils on the corner of her desk.

Cali Hawks

Cali had sat there in the art room staring at the door and watching people come in the door. Most of them, she watched as they walked past her and went to sit down. But after awhile of this, she let out a sigh and looked down at the desk and opened her sketch book. The pages were filled of tens of thousands of little sketching. Most of the sketches were in plan black and white by pen for the outline and pencil for the shading. The sketches ranged from little random simple shapes like stars and hearts all the way to highly detailed caricatures. Just her style, I guess.

After a moment, she heard a familiar voice beside her say "Hey Cali. So I guess we’re both in the Art Club together." Cali looked over with a smile and slightly raised eyebrow at Scarlett's statement of the obvious. "Yeah." She said with a small laugh and a smile. After a moment, Scarlett asked "What other clubs did you sign up for?" To which Cali replied with a slight shrug. "This is actually the only club I joined." She said in her normal 'not-a-big-deal' nonchalant way and her eyes glancing down to Scarlett's obvious sketchbook and pencils she was arranging. A small smirky-looking smile made it's way across Cali's fast as an eyebrow cocked slightly and she looked back at Scarlett, trying to make eye contact like she usually does. "You got any sketches?" She asked with a blink and a smile as her curiosity boiled up. Art and sketches is one of the many things that Cali has interest in, so it was obvious she was going to be interested in anything anyone drew.
