"...But, if we're going to travel together...he might not really do anything to you. I mean...unless you manage to really piss him off..." She shrugged, glancing off to the side. "In any case...I suppose more protection is better than none. But, umm...it's not fair...for you to take the form of an animal...so that we don't know what you're really supposed to look at. You've seen all of us, and we don't have any different forms..."

Sage quicly stood up, and held his halbred at the ready after hearing the sound of something being smashed against a tree trunk. He followed the direction of the sound. After a few minutes, Sage came across a fight breaking up, and what appeared to be a cat talking to someone or something. He wasn't able to make out what it was saying or to whom. The young warrior walked closer, keeping his guard up, and pulling his hood over his head. It didn't take long for the warrior to be standing only a few yards from Samhain and Waterlily. He stood up straight and took a deep breathe and let it out slowly.

"There you go," Samhain spoke opening his shirt and revealing his slim though increadibly well formed body, like a dancer or a gymnast. As the sun shone directly down on him the condensed black upon his body faded under its direct touch, making him look much more human. But it revealed the symbols cut by knife. Scars which embuned over his entire body, interweaving astrological patterns and written script. It would have taken almost years to have carved the lot of it in.
"This, is me, the true me, the am that i am, the peace de' resistance, And I am pleased to meet you all, truly. Including the one in the basket who is VERY, very fast." He smiled Looking back to the fight that happened behind him. Realising why he probably chose this side. He was scary. Killing him might actually take some effort on Samhain's part. Though it would probably be the Elf who got him. Samhain was VERY efficiant against those who focused on melee combat. But arrows. Well. Arrows could be a pain. The thought of arrows made him shudder. It was a good thing he couldn't use a bow.
"Look, I don't know who you are or what you want, but you better make it fast. I've better things to do with my time than stand around here talking to some...stranger all day." He had to make sure he didn't lose the group, or at least that he learned their footprints so he could track them. And that had to be done before the wind or rain ruined the tracks. He folded his arms across his chest and watched the stranger carefully. "So? What do you want?"
She turned away to walk to Darin, seeing that the human and other elf had left. She hesitated before saying anything to him; he did seem to be rather upset, though she couldn't tell if it was the human who had tried to push past him, or the arrival of a being that was very similar to shadows...or just shrouded in them. "We really should be moving...we've been here in the forest for longer than we had intended. We do have a journey to finish..." She fidgeted slightly, lightly tugging at the uncomfortable tunic Darin had lent her. She wished she didn't need it, but they were supposed to be dealing with humans, after all. "Can't we just...get this whole thing over with?"

Sage wasn't sure what to expect, his hand gripped the pole of his halbred tighter, and he continued to keep his guard up. He eyes wandered between each and every warrior that stood before him. Don't return until the Magisprit are safe, those words kept running through his mind, those were his orders, to leave the swamp, find the Magisprit and protect them, until all threats were dealt with, and not to return until then.
Mr Destiny frowned and pulled his hand back, moving it back towards the Heart-shaped Watch and closing his hand around it. ''What I want isn't really important is it?'' he questioned, taking a step back and looking at Aaren. ''It's what you want, Aaren Eroth. Everyone has a destiny you know, some have great; others have... not too great. From what I've seen, you have a great destiny,'' he said, his eyes fixed on Aaren. The friendly smile turning into a rather twisted smile as he worked his plan out to help this creature.
''See, I am not just some stranger, as you said it. Time is nice to mess with,'' he said, looking up at the sky, then looking down at the ground. ''Whatever destiny people have, I will always be able to change it. I will always get what I want,'' he said, opening his hand. Every time he talked, the Heart-shaped watch seemed to stop ticking and every time he stopped talking, it started ticking again. ''So, Aaren Eroth, what do you want most?''
"...What I want most...right now is to be able to best that dinlander. However, I suppose getting rid of the magisprits, keeping them from controlling people, is the overall goal." They couldn't be allowed free to control other people. He had to stop them before they caused too much harm to the other races. Doing that might just make him a hero of some sort. And all the glory that might come along with it...who was going to stop him? Not a dinlander, not if he was confident and persistent. "And you are here to help me accomplish that?"
Mr Destiny watched him, fiddling with his Heart-shaped Watch, watching it tick, and tick, the time passing without him actually noticing. For Mr Destiny, time was nothing at all. He could mess with it, change it, go back in time or go further in time, or just stay. It didn't matter what would happen to others, as long as he got what he wanted, and he would always get what he wanted, even if he had to bent the ruled a bit. He didn't like to bent the rules, but he did if it was necessarily. ''Yes, I've seen the future so many times. In fact, I just returned,'' he answered the Dinlander. He looked at Aaren.
Mr Destiny smirked and turned around, fiddling with his Watch again, watching and hearing it tick. ''I can help you accomplish it, but who says I would?'' he said, turning back around to face the Dinlander. ''The Magispirts are strange, powerful yet weak creatures Aaren. I can go back in time and mess with it, changing them, however, I do like the result as they are now. But, I guess I can help you,'' he said, as he closed his hand around the Watch and as he looked into the eyes of Aaren. ''But, for that, we need to travel through time, a few years ahead. Would you?''
