Theme Song Lyrics:
[Neon Hitch - Chorus]
I don’t know, where you’re going
Or when you’re coming home
I left the keys under the mat to our front door
For one more chance to hold you close
I don’t know, where you’re going
Just get your ass back home

[Travie McCoy]
We both knew this type of life didn’t come with instructions
So I’m trying to do my best to make something out of nothing
And sometimes it gets downright shitty in fact
When you call and I don’t know what city I’m in at
Or what day of the week in the middle of the month
In a year I don’t recall
It’s like my life’s on repeat and the last time we spoke
I told you I wouldn’t be long,
That was last November, now December’s almost gone
I’d apologize but I don’t realize what I’m doing wrong

[Chorus]
I don’t know, where you’re going
Or when you’re coming home
I left the keys under the mat to our front door
For one more chance to hold you close
I don’t know, where you’re going
Just get your ass back home

[Travie McCoy]
And you’ve been nothing but amazing
And I never take that for granted
Half of these birds would have flew the coop
But you, you truly understand it
And the fact you stood beside me,
Every time you heard some bogusness
You deserve a standing o ‘cause they’d a just been over it
Gym Class Heroes Ass Back Home lyrics found on http://www.directlyrics.com/gym-class-h ... yrics.html

Let em talk, let em talk, let em talk, let em talk
Like we don’t hear what they saying
Let em walk, let em walk, let em walk, let em walk
We’ll just drive by and keep waving
Cause you and I above all that
Just let them wallow in it
Now they all choked up, yuck
Cause they be swallowing it

[Chorus]
I don’t know, where you’re going
Or when you’re coming home
I left the keys under the mat to our front door
For one more chance to hold you close
I don’t know, where you’re going
Just get your ass back home

No one hold me down like you do sweetheart
You keep doing that, I keep doing this
We’ll be alright in the end
Trust that
We put the us in trust, baby
Let’s go

I don’t care what you’re after
As long as I’m the one, no
I don’t care why you’re leaving
You’ll miss me when you’re gone

[Chorus]
I don’t know, where you’re going
Or when you’re coming home
I left the keys under the mat to our front door
For one more chance to hold you close
I don’t know, where you’re going
Just get your ass back home.

So begins...

Danika could hear the girl clearly, though she wasn’t sure where the voice came from. She looked around the room, first looking to the ceiling for cameras and then across the walls, the door, and then finally, her eyes came across the small window. It was the only place she could think of it coming from, but then, why was this girl talking to her? Deciding she wouldn’t get in trouble for speaking, she spoke calmly “And just
who are you?”

“It’s scary,” Danika spoke softly. She walked towards the window and looked through. It was just a tiny little thing, hardly anything at all. “The drugs,” she said. “They’re working at me too.” She took a seat underneath the window, looking up to it. She wrapped her hair around her finger, playing with it as she waited. “I don’t
I don’t know why I’m here. Do you?”

“I’m Danika,” she said. She was pretty sure that was her name, she could have sworn that was what the last person she’d seen called her, besides murderer that was. “Should we
figure this out together?” She asked. “Hmm stranger? Should we
figure out the accusations of the innocent?”

Macy rocked back and forth on her heels listening to Sapphire converse. So Danika was a fresh newbie to the prison. Yes this made a lot of sense. She jumped up and did a little skip about her room, sitting for a moment on the dresser and thinking to herself. What they were talking about, crimes and memory flashes and family. Michigan huh? Macy had no memory of ever being in the state of Michigan, but then again she didn't really have the memory of a lot of things. It was very possible she had been born and raised in the state of Michigan, but it didn't feel quite right to her. No, she was fairly certain her state didn't start with an M. Hm, very curious indeed. Sapphire's voice sounded louder as she turned in Macy's direction, so she quickly stood up and skipped to where she would be better able to hear, her loose blonde hair flowing behind her with the subtle movement. "What was that? Oh, what did I do to get here? Hm." Macy thought for a moment, placing her finger on her cheek and thumb under her jaw. What had she done to get here? She remembered hearing the guards talking, talking about all the prisoners and the horrid crimes committed. She remembered the faint look in the guards eye, the look of fear and revulsion as he looked at her. Then it hit her again, fresh, like a slap across the face, witchcraft. Macy shuddered where she stood, whipping her face back and forth quickly trying to erase the memory and the nightmares that were sure to accompany it, like they had countless times before. Maybe if she didn't talk about it, then she wouldn't have to face the nightmares? And who was to say that she was even remembering it correctly, her memory itself could have been a nightmare. In any case, she decided to keep it to herself for now. No need to possibly frighten off one of the only friends she had and possibly scare away a potential new friend. "I... I'm not sure" she finished her response with a wavering voice. "I thought I might have known, but I don't know for sure." She closed her eyes for a couple short moments, trying to pull herself together. She finished off in a cheerful tone "I would rather not speculate until I have good solid evidence." With that she skipped to one of the two beds in the room and plopped down onto it. She could still hear the voices should they ask her anything in addition, but her mind began to wonder back to the nightmares and she absentmindedly ran her hands down her bare arms in irritation and fear.

Danika listened carefully, so all the prisoners talked frequently it seemed. “Nice to meet you stranger, what is it
that I might call you?” She asked Macy. She laid down in the dirt, trying to think about everything, anything. If S got flashes of memories, would Danika? Could Danika eventually remember. “I don’t understand this,” she spoke after a long while. “Why is it that none of us can remember? What is the point of these drugs?” She held onto herself, she would attempt to refuse the drugs as much as possible.

Sapphire nodded at Macy's reply. " That makes 3 of us." She tried at a smile, but her lips wouldn't cooperate. Flipping a strand of long, black hair over her shoulder, she pulled the bright pink stool- ironic coloring for a prison- over from the bathroom and sat on it, still facing the windows. Her prison room was extra nice because the prison guards, mostly the male ones, had taken to her beauty and gave her special attention. She kind of knew why, sort of understood why they were so attracted to her. She had a thin but shapely figure, with lean legs, medium sized hips, and a full chest. Her face was small and pretty, with her full pink lips, green-blue eyes, and thick lashes. Normally she would dress in tight clothes, tunics, blouses, jeans, sometimes a dress. But sometimes, when she was feeling especially depressed, she would let her beauty be wasted, and would dress in baggy sweatpants and sweatshirts, and she would not bathe, which caused her food to be a little less good, for the guards could see her through the window on her door, yet she could never see them, just an outline, and she could also never read the large plaque above the door in which she was sure it stated her name. Sometimes, at night, she would go to the door and peer through the thick glass, turning her body in all directions, trying to get a glance at the name plaque. But alas, it was not to be.

“They don’t make me feel horrible,” she said. “I’m just tired all the time, I don’t remember much
.I’m like a blank slate.” She got up from the ground and moved towards the bed. The girl may have been good looking, but there would be little to no special treatment for her. In the guards eyes she was a filthy murderer, that’s what they kept calling her. “They call me murderer,” she whispered to herself. She didn’t have it in her though, someone like her would never be able to end another’s life.

Food steps echoed in the hallway, the guards coming back. They seemed to be struggling with something, or someone for that matter. They came down the corridor, Danika creeping towards the door. She could see nothing but shadows through the blurred window, five figures, one of them obviously a patient. She continued to watch carefully as they placed the figure into a room. “Try and escape again and we’ll send ya straight to the gallows,” one laughed as he threatened Jennifer.

Danika held her breath, watching as they started to pass by. One stopped in front of hers. “Sorry, I’ll be there in a second, it’s time to give this one her meds,” he said and unlocked the door. Danika bolted across the room towards her bed. She’d just sat down when the guard came.

“I don’t want it,” she spoke clearly.

Ooc//Anyone can play the guards as well. Feel free to take over :P

"Macy!" She replied in response to Danika's question, raising her voice slightly above the level that was wise so that she wouldn't have to move from her position on the bed. Thankfully the question stopped her nervous scratching before she could do any more damage to her already damaged arms. Cursing under her breath she stood up and walked to the sink religiously cleaning underneath her fingernails until all the skin was gone and then scrubbing at her arms until they shined. She walked over to the dresser and pulled out a baggy black sweatshirt to hide her new scratches and plopped herself down on the wall next to the window. The voices were clear and easy to understand once again. "S, how are we to know that we are innocent of whatever crimes we are placed in here for, if we cannot remember who we are, who our families are, or how we even got here? Who is to say that we didn't commit some horrible crime and are being punished justly for it?" It was a question that she used to keep herself awake at night before the nightmares began. She wished she could see S's name for her, desperately in fact. It had to be horrible that she didn't even know her own identity. Macy wasn't sure her name was truly hers, she had been able to catch a glance at her door as they were leading her in, the thick plaque had said Macy Collins. The drugs had, unbeknownst to the guards, not been enough to keep her comatose until she was inside the room, and thanks to there slip up she knew the identity to that was given to and half the battle was the knowing.

The guards visited the cells, each of them entering a cell. “It’s time for medication,” each of them spoke. Jennifer, Danika, Macy, and Sapphire each had one enter their room with the same phrase.

“I don’t want it,” Danika repeated. She watched the guard walk towards her. “I said I don’t want it,” she said, standing up on her bed. The guard still pressed further, yanking her down off the bed. Danika fought with him, only to find herself slammed down against the floor. The male straddled her, holding her throat as he attempted to force the medication into her mouth. Danika’s eyes watered, her hands flailing, attacking the guard to stop him.

“I need help in here,” the guard called. He couldn’t believe how much trouble she was being. As far as he was concerned, the medication made them forget. Didn’t she want to forget about murdering her mom?

Danika had been forced down to the ground, one guard holding her hands above her head, the other yanking open her mouth and forcing it down her throat. It burned, it made her entire body burn. She choked on it multiple times, unable to keep the full contents in her mouth. She’d hardly taken any of it before they shoved a double dose in. They wanted to make sure she got more than enough. It made her head spin and the next thing she knew she was alone in the room, covered in sweat with someone whispering.

“Macy! Danika! I had another memory flashback!” She could hear someone say. She groaned, unable to pick herself off the ground. It still burned. She whimpered, her neck burning the most. The guard had held her down by her throat until she’d settled down enough for the other guard to pin her down.
Did they do this to them too? “Is stranger okay?” She asked. “Was it
did it help?” She asked, referring to the memory.

Danika felt uneasy in the new room. The names the guards kept calling her were ringing in her head, over and over. “Murderer!” She kept her distance from the two girls, freezing when they tried to hug her. She was terrified of what she might do. If she really was a murderer like the guards said, what would stop her from harming the two girls before her.

Danika sighed, taking a seat in the corner. The mark of a hand print was slowly becoming visible as a bruise on her neck. The guard had held her down with more than enough force. “Sapphire,” she spoke quietly. “I don’t think this was a good idea,” she said, drawing patterns on the floor. If the guards knew they were trying to prove their innocence through each other, wouldn’t the separate them? Wouldn’t they take them all away?

Danika wiped the tear away “Sorry, I guess I’m just having an off day,” she stated. She shouldn’t have said anything, she shouldn’t have told them what she was. Of course they wouldn’t believe her, they didn’t know the circumstances that Danika did. They didn’t know that her mother had tried killing her first. “Did I really kill her,” she thought. She watched the two carefully. “Witchcraft really isn’t so bad,” she reassured her. “What bad can you really do with that if you have a kind heart like yours?” She stated. She looked away from Macy and towards Sapphire “I’m sure, we’ll all gain our memories so enough,” she stated.

Sapphire jumped. She whirled around, stopping to face Macy. She had been thinking of her mother, of where she had lived before, to try and trigger more memory flashbacks. " Oh, I sleep well, and yourself?" Her full lips tugged up into a little half smile at the thought of her roommates, her new- and possibly permanent- roommates. She continued to watch Macy, but out of the corner of her eye she looked out the door window, where the hallway lights were just turning on and the prisoner's cries were starting. Her hands threatened to cover her ears, the cries were that depressing, but she refrained from seeming rude and then turned her body a few inches so that she was facing the small chisled wall window that showcased the now empty cells of a certain Macy and Danika. Sapphire beamed.

Sapphire blinked. Suddenly she wasn't in the cell anymore, and with in the first four seconds, she knew what was happening. A memory, something in the back of her mind whispered. She was having a memory flashback. So, impatiently, Sapphire looked around at her surroundings. She was in a large meadow, a thin gurgling stream running through the middle. Some flowers were trampled by the surface of the water, and when Sapphire's vision finally cleared, she could see that by the squashed flowers, a set of footprints, deep in the mud, were there. The meadow was peaceful, but something was wrong. Sapphire had something to do, she just couldn't remember what. Her eyes then settled on the rope in her hands, the thick coarse twine digging into her skin and making her bleed. She was wearing a worn down dress and thin wooden sandals, and when she reached up to touch her hair, she felt only short, whispy strands, and looking into the stream, she could see that her hair had been cut. But why? Her mind whispered urgently, and she found her feet moving forward, towards the set of footsteps that led away into a thin cluster of trees. Her sister, shaking and cold, dripping with water from what Sapphire thought was the stream, stood on a stool at the foot of a tree. Sapphire staggered forwards, and watched as her shaking hands put the looped rope around her sister's neck, tied the rest to the thick oak's top branch, and gently pushed her sister- her sister! off of the stool. Melonie started to choke and gurgle, her face turning bluer and bluer until finally, finally her chest stopped moving, her head bent over, and Sapphire's mother- Sapphire had not seen her arrive- took the rope off of Melonie's neck and checked for a pulse. Mrs. Johnson didn't seem even slightly disturbed by the sight of her dead daughter, which Sapphire, in her subconscious mind, though disgusting. So that was the truth. I hung my sister. But why? Once more she asked the question, as she felt herself drift back into the present. She tried to smile, but she burst into tears and fell to the ground, the memory to horrible, to painful, to bear. (( Okay, so this was just part of the twist, the rest comes later. Be patient, and all will be resolved. :D))

She hadn’t allowed them to obtain the knowledge of her sleepless night. She kept quiet while staring at the wall, listening as the two rustled around in the early morning. She didn’t feel like being “awake”, so she simply closed her eyes and listened. No matter what the girls spoke of, nothing she could think of could make her want to supposedly “wake up”, not that she’d actually slept.

Deep sobs racked the room, the sniffles and cries as Sapphire broke down in the room. This was something that would certainly get Danika to get up out of her stupor, her depression in the dark abyss. She bolted up right, moving towards the door. She didn’t care if Sapphire hated her for calling the guards, breaking down like she was; she was in no condition to object. “We need help,” she yelled. “There’s something wrong!” She called loudly, waiting for a few moments before the jingling of keys was present through the hallways.

* John Jackson *

He heard a voice, a female voice, that jarred him out of his deep sleep and rose him to his feet. " Help! There's something wrong!" The voice shouted, although part of the sentence was cut off by a deep sob. Looking around for any more experienced guards, as he was the rookie, and had no idea what to do in a situation such as that, but finding no other guard in the dark corridoor, he found his feet slapping the concrete floor as John made his way to Sapphire's cell, the cell in which he had been the following night, switching the girls from the other cells into that one. John thought that maybe the girls had gotten into a fight, the kind he had always seen on those prison outbreak t.v shows he used to watch back home, but when he peered through the window, he found Sapphire on the ground, sobbing uncontrollably, a girl with blonde hair- Macy, he remembered, and the third girl, still calling for help. Danika. He was satisfied with knowing all of their names, and unlocked the door quickly, so if the girls were only acting, they would not try and escape. Opening it just wide enough to slip through, John asked, " What's the matter?"
