Gender: Female
Personality: Lia is relatively reserved and shy. She is in love with First mutant's perfect match, and is upset that he doesn't even realize that Lia is in love with him. This has lead her to want to kill the first mutant, but because she is so afraid that it could ruin her relation ship with him, she hasn't. She also has a little crush on the Second mutant, but is sad and shy around him, seeing as he wants her and her family dead. Because she is so reserved, she doesn't really talk to anybody, but her family, and even then, she is quiet. Lia is also blind, making it hard to to what she is good at, writing and drawing. But because she is blind, she has better senses than most of the other characters. She is also athletically talented, and loves to run and play sports, where she is very competitive.
When you get to know Lia, she is a very upbeat, happy, and doesn't stop talking. She likes to play pranks that get her in trouble with the scientists. She is also very protective of her family, and will do anything to make them all happy, even if that means letting the first mutant be with her perfect match so that the first mutant's perfect match is happy. Lia is often alone, too, because while everyone is trying to be with the people they love, she just sits in the corner, and draws or writes, because she doesn't want to mess anything up, or try and be with the first mutant's perfect match, because he rarely notices her, so what is the point?
Brief description: Lia has a lean build, despite her small appearance (she is only 5 ft, 2in), and usually wears a pair of jeans and a tank top.
Skills/Abilities: Since Lia is blind, her senses are much more powerful than normal humans, and mutants alike. Her hearing is advanced (hear anything within 200 ft) and she often relies on it to sense where everything is, so she doesn't walk into walls, which she still does when she is thinking about something else, and doesn't notice the wall. Her sense of smell and taste are more advanced, as well, but don't do very much to help her. Lia's sense of touch is the most advanced sense yet, seeing as she can feel the most minutiae bump and shape, so she can still read a normal book, with her hands. She also has a sixth sense type thing, where she can kinda tell emotions and the like from the sounds and vibrations people make.
Likes: Reading, writing, drawing, running, sports, her family, small spaces, listening to music
Dislikes: Fighting-although she'll do it to protect her family, mean people, the first mutant, loud noises, cheaters
Phobias: Thunder storms, bad smelling things, blood
Wishes: To leave this place, to be with the first mutant's perfect match, for all of this to play out nicely (which will never happen-sigh), and to be able to see.
History: Lia grew up in the lab, watching the second mutant behind a wall of glass. She always felt bad about that, though, because she felt like it was an invasion of his privacy. She could tell that he was in love with the first mutant for years, and felt even worse, like she was being a bad perfect match, since the person she loves, and the person she's suppose to love are both in love with the same person, and that's not her. And when she fell in love with the first mutant's perfect match, Lia became the reserved person she is today, not wanting to inter fear with his happiness. Since she learned that that second mutant wanted her and her family dead, she began to dislike him a little, even though she still had the smallest crush on him. She puts her family in front of everything, even her "love." She also thinks that she doesn't deserve love, since no one loves her more than a like a sister.
Crush: First mutant's perfect match
Other: She always has her I pod and a book or too with her
Theme Song: Missing by Flyleaf
Lyrics:
I saw the queen
Swam out below her star on sea beneath
Though I lifted up my hands to her
She never lifted me
Oh, something's missing in me
I felt it deep within me
As lovers left me to bleed alone
Found something sweet
On the island with the daughters of eve
But through thick and thin they've gone away
And only left their grief
Oh, something's missing in me
I felt it deep within me
As lovers left me to bleed alone
Something's missing in me
I felt it deep within me
As lovers left me to bleed alone
Something's missing in me
Something's missing in me
Down here, love wasn't meant to be
It wasn't meant to be for me
Down here, love wasn't meant to be
It wasn't meant to be for me
(all is vanity, underneath the sun, all is vanity)
Oh, something's missing in me
I felt it deep within me
As lovers left me to bleed alone
Something's missing in me
I felt it deep within me
As lovers left me to bleed alone
Something's missing in me
Something's missing in me
Something's missing in me
Something's missing in me
