Weapon:: Huga, the teddy bear. Although she was never taught how to use them, there is a gun safe hidden with her in the cellar.

Personality:
Before the world ended, Madi was your average little girl. She would mess around in her mothers make up, play dress up and swing on the swing set shed been given for her 5th birthday. Never having a care in the world as long as her teddy bear, Huga, was by her side. Her parents were beginning to worry about her and were making valiant attempts to pry Huga from her life but she refused to give him up, he is her best friend and she tells everything to him, and now that the world has gone to hell, he is her protector and the devil himself will not pry him from her.

Madison is still very imaginative, which is probably the reason she has survived so long when here parents had both died. Mostly thought she is terrified by how the world has changed, the monsters that "wern't real" have come out from under her bed and walk the earth. She doesn't understand how or why all of this has happened, or where her parents are, but she doesn't like the noises coming from outside.

History: Madison was a honeymoon child, conceived on the night of the marriage between Christopher Collins and his blushing bride Ericka. She was named after her Grandmother, Madison Clarke. The small family led an absolutely normal life prior to the apocalypse, her father worked and her mother stayed home to take care of her.

Her father was working the day that the world changed, her mother had taken her shopping earlier that day and the two of them had been in the back yard playing on the swings when Madi saw her first zombie. Her parents loved the tv show walking dead so they were well prepared for this kind of thing. Ericka grabbed her daughter and carried her into the house, she took her down into the basement and placed her in the food cellar they had stocked to the brim just in case, there was also a gun case int the corner that Madi was instructed not to touch. Madi was confused and scared as her mother gave her these instructions, Madi just wanted Huga like her mother promised her earlier that day while they were shopping, she told her if she was a good girl she could have Huga when they got home, and instead her mother took her outside to play on the swings. Now she was being put in a room and she wanted her bear.

Ericka consoled her daughter by saying she would bring her the bear when she got back from getting daddy if Madi was quiet. Her mother said she could eat the food when she got hungry and there was a few couch cushions there for her to sleep on if she got tired, Desperately wanting her bear Madi agreed to the conditions before she was shut into the room. Madi's mother never came back for her, when she arrived at the store her husband worked at, he was one of the infected, the disease had traveled quickly throughout his body, and he was in one of the last stages when he bit the woman he had shared his life with, and created a child with....that child was left alone in a world full of the undead, waiting for her parents who will never come.

So begins...

Madison Collins

Madi was hidden in the basement of the Collins house, so hidden, well, if you didn't know there was a door there, you never would. The room she occupied had walls lined with food, there was a gun safe off in one corner and a few scattered crates of food and water laying around as well. There was once several lights in the room, but now there was only one that still worked, providing a small amount of light to the room. Madi was curled up in a little ball, clutching one of the blankets to her frail, malnourished body. Surrounded by food, but unable to get into the cans was the torment that haunted her during her waking hours.

Madison slept strange hours due to the lack of sunlight in the room, days ran together here, but it wasn't like she could tell them apart before though. She heard the monsters during the day, but at night, her dreams dove into the pits of hell and put images to the sounds. They were truly terrifying, despite what form they took, and if Madi ever made it out of that room she would learn that her imagination held no candle to the monsters that had taken her parents from her......but that was something else she didn't know. Her parents had become the monsters themselves.

Madi heard a sound outside her sanctuary, something was in her house. She had no idea if it was more monsters or her parents coming to save her, but as a precaution she moved a crate over to the back of the door, then stacked another on top. Obviously they weren't heavy, but they'd stopped monsters before, if it were her parents returning they wouldn't have an issue moving the crates. She was shaking by the time she had finished stacking the crate on top of the other, from fear as well as exhaustion. Like she'd done many times before she crawled over to the gun safe and wrapped her dirty arms around her frail legs, placing her forehead on her knees, she began to cry......calling out for her mother and father, as well as Huga, and hoping they would have come back for her.

Zaila Korbeil

Zaila was curled up in a ball in the chair, a blanket was around her keeping her somewhat warm. Her dreams were plagued with images of amblers, cralwers, her sister, her parents. It was dreams that turned into nightmares. She awoke suddenly, a small scream escaped her throat as she saw a tall figure was standing in front of her. After a moment she noticed it was the guy from before, he was telling her that she had to go, shaking her head she stood up and stretched her arms as she listened to see if there was any movement up above.

"I don't hear any zombies upstairs, why do I have to get up" she wasn't one to usually put up an attitude but she really didn't like how this guy felt he had to watch over hee. "Look, I am fine, I have survived this long so I must be doing something right" she stood up and folded the blanket, thats when she heard a sound coming from the otherside of the basement. She looked at the guy and brought her finger to her mouth as she was telling the guy to be quiet. She took out her axe and walked ovee to the otherside of the basement where she found another door.

She tried opening it but there was something blocking the door on the otherside, she heard a muffled voice crying and saying something. "Hey were not here to hurt you" she pushed at the door and it opened up a crack. She peeked inside and tried to open up the door more "I just want to help" she took out her flashlight from her bag and flashed it inside the room. She stopped the light as she saw the tiny figure of a little girl "sweetie, its Zaila from down the street" she took out the bear from her bag and heald it out to her "is this yours?"

She looked over to the guy "hey can you open this door, theres a girl in here" it was less of a question and more of a statement. She just wanted to get this giel out of the room, she wondered how long the girl was stuck in the room.

Zalt stood for a moment looking around the basement, it has been completely ransacked. Oh well, the girl woke up with a light scream. Zalt sighed as she shook her head at him. Girls her age can be so naiive somtimes. "I don't hear any zombies upstairs, why do I have to get up" before Zalt spoke she continued, "Look, I am fine, I have survived this long so I must be doing something right". Zalt shook his head, "Listen, I'm just trying to help. This house is not close to being dfensible, there are holes in the walls and the doors can be swung open, the only way out of the basement is up. Then we can see how much right you can do with Zombies swarming you."

Before anything else he heard a cry, it came from a wall in the basement. Zalt was just about to pull out his machete, but... Zombies don't cry. He relaxed a bit. There's a little girl here?! . The irl from before went up to a door which was hidden fairly well, she tried to pry open the door but without success. Zalt chuckled a little bit "You want me to not help out yet you can't even open a door." He meant no offense, alas he was just teasing the girl. She couldn't be older then 18, typical to think that their so independent.

Zalt looked through the hole to see a terrified child, she was young, too young to be here all by herself. How long was she there for? The girl handed the child a bear which seemed to have done good. Zalt squeezed out a smile and approached the door. "Let her come down before we bust the door open." Zalt went over to the crack and leaned over. He managed to pull a goofy face so that the older girl wouldn't see, he then gave the child a warm smile. "Hey listen, were gonna get you out of there okay? Don't get scared the door might make a noise. Step back" Zalt stood and grabbed the handle. "Watch out." He grabbed the handle and at first gave it a light push, he didn't want to make much noise but he needed more power. He sighed and forced the door open. It made a fairly loud noise as it burst open, whatever was holding it snapped or flew off. He went into a crouch and tried not to be intimidating, "We won't hurt you."

Madison Collins

When the door opened up a crack, Madi looked up, fear written all over her face as anticipation of seeing her parents lit up her eyes, was it a monster? Or her parents coming back? When Zaila poked her head through the door, Madi smiled, she recognized the older girl from down the road, she was one half of the win set, but Madi liked this one better, the other one was weird sometimes. When Zizi, Madi's nickname for her, held out Huga, whatever energy was left in the small girls body ran to embrace the bear "Huga Huga Huga Huga!!!!!!!! IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII miiiiiiisssssssssseeeeedddddddddd yyyyyoooooouuuuuuuuuuuuusssssssss" The girl had raised her voice beyond what was considered safe for this day and age, but she couldn't help it. It had been months since she had held her bear, and she wasn't going to let her go again. Never Ever!!!!

Madi crawled back to her makeshift bed and hugged Huga. She wasn't sure of the man yet, but since Zizi had given her back her bear, she would follow her anywhere. When she was asked to step back, though, she did as she was told, surprised that her little rig was so strong, and after it was knocked down it revealed the girl in the full light of the flashlight. She was scrawny and malnourished, but then again, who wasn't in these times? She was covered from head to toe in dirt and dust from the dirty basement floor. Looking around the room showed shelf upon shelf of canned foods and a few water bottles, there were several wrappers lying on the ground where the girl had tried to keep herself alive and stave off the horrible pains of hunger, and in the corner was every survivors wish.....a gun safe.

Zalt looked at the girl who seemed to be battered up, but his mind retracted to something else. In the corner there was a safe, full of weapons and ammo, everything a scavenger could ever wish for. Since the girl kept on being stubborn Zalt gave up. "Alright, I won't escort you if you are so sure of yourself. The safe can be parted between us. He was off, a weird feeling crept up on him. What if the two girls die on their way home? Zalt shrugged. "Never mind that, Once you are off my hands my mind can be cleared, so Ill take you guys home anyway." Zalt shook his head. Why am I like this?... Zalt couldve just taken the weapons and ran, but he would never do that. The safe was locked and he was sure the girl knew the combination. He crouched next to her once more, "Hey you think you can open that safe?"

Zaila Korbeil
Zaila was getting impatient, the young girl was not talking and she had to get home. Looking to the guy then to the gun cabinet "I think my dad used to have a pair of bolt cutters in our garage, you wait here and ill go get them. My house is just down the street, not that far away. Ill be back in less then a half hour okay? Just watch her" she motioned to the girl. She then got up and headed upstaira before the guy could protest. She knew he was just trying to look out for them but Maddi was more important then her.

She walked out of the house and headed back to her house, she crossed the street then took a left down her road. It was getting dark, they didn't have much time left in the day to get too much more done. She should of just took Maddi back to her house then dealt with the other things tomorrow but it was too late now. She wondered how Addi was doing and if she got any good fish too cook up.

Zaila wasn't paying attention as she got lost in thought, she was right hear her house when she felt something bite in her leg. She let out a scream, looking down to see that a crawlwr has bitten her. She scrambled to get her axe but it dropped as another set of hands grabbed onto her "No..no.no...Help!" She yelled but it was no use, the only thing her yelling did was attract more of the zombies. She felt herself falling, she needed Addi, she punched out at one of the Amblers head just as she hit the ground.

Reaching for the walkie from her belt she spoke quickly "Addi, I need help, in front of the house. Im bitten.." She was going to say more but another ambler bit down on her arm. She was being swarmed but the dead and soon she would be one of them, she didn't even know she was yelling. The pain was just too much, she closed her eyes hoping this would all go away. They were scratching and biting at her, taking more of her flesh away. Then everything just faded to black.

Adelaide Korbeil
Adelaide looked over to Levy who was now laying on a boulder near the water, she couldn't help but watch as the older girl reached down and picked out a fish like it was the easiest thing in the world "holy shit, think you could teach me that sometime?". She grinned then looked down at the stream, fish were swimming around her legs and at the right might moment she struck down her sharp stick. When she brough the stick up a good size fish, looking over to Levy she saw the girl stab the fish she caught.

"I used to be a vegetarian" she heard Levy say, it made her think of the things she used to do before everything went to shit "all the things we used to be or do, it all doesn't matter anymore huh? Nothing matters really except having to fight each day to stay alive". Shrugging her shoulders she went back to catching fish.

A half hour later Adelaide caught eight fish, all of them lying on the bank near the stream. She was sweaty and hot, looking up past the trees she saw that it was getting darker out "we should think about heading back soon, won't be good to stay out in the dark" she said looking over to Levy. "I think we have enough fish to last us a few days".

She walked over to to the bank, stepping out of the water she sat down on the ground and put her boots back on "your definately going to have to teach me that catching fish thing, you have very quick hands" she laughed, finishing tying up her boots. As she gathered the fish she heard her walkie go off, she took it out and turned it up just a bite. It was crackly and hard to decipher what was being said but she could understand a few things Addie.....house...help... that was all that was said. "Fuck Zaila".

Adelaide quickly got the fish in her bag, looking over to Levy "I think my sisters in trouble, I have to go see if I can help her. I understand if you may want to stay behind. Who knows what Ill be walking into but I made a pact with my sister. If one of us were to be bitten or anything we promised to end it for each other. I know I would want to be killed if I was going to be changed into one of those monsters and she agrees. She wouldn't want to harm anyone". She stood up, looking at Levy "but if you do come I would appreciate it, you don't even know".

Whatever answer Levy gave her she supported and headed back towards her house, she ran most of the way hoping she would get there in time but she had a really bad feeling inside her gut that this night wasn't going to go according to plan. As she got closer to her street she was afraid to go around the corner, she could hear the noises of the dead and it made her feal sick to her stomach that Zaila may be in the middle of a horde. But she had to do it, she had to for her twin.

As she went around the corner she saw about seven of the amblers crouched down, feeding. Her eyes went wide at what she saw, she couldn't help the rage she was feeling as she ran towards the dead. She pulled her hitam out, one of the amblers lookwd right at her when she sliced through its neck. She went wild as she continued to slice and dice through the zombies that were feeding off her sister, she didn't even notice that she was crying. It was over for her sister, she no longer had any family left.
