GM- Oshiva

Class(Type): (50)Priest(Staff)
HP: 2305/2305
SP: 2815/2815
EXP: 5/5
Gold: XX

<Oshiva has logged into Phantasy World>

E'dellon a castle far in it's own region surrounded by a giant waterfall and a forest beyond and build with the most beautiful and strongest materials. This was the GM's castle, rarely anyone knew of the place - Even the NPCs of the game were oblivious or had very little information of it's location but none the less this is where GM's stood and where they begin. Oshiva now logged into the phantasy world looked down the halls of her castle before walking towards the meeting room. She knew it was the first day that the GMs were going to rally up all those they sent the email to but as usual it all came down to planning without capture or suspicion of rebellion from the tyrant's army.

Outside of the world once Ami navigated her character to E'dellon's armory. She removed her visor, took the glasses from the desk in front of her and slid them onto her face. Noticing it was only 10 AM, she decided to rush to make herself a cup of coffee. In addition, she grabbed her cigarettes, lighter and a slice of cheesecake from the fridge to get prepared. This was rather normal for Ami, at least for mornings but her life isn't always so simple. Especially seeing she is a single mother who leads quite a busy life during the day. That however, doesn't impair her on doing her job. Either way none-the-less, she would never break this routine and habit.

Upon sliding the visor back onto her head once settled with her cigarette lit between two fingers, a cup of coffee next to her and her cheesecake on the other side Ami began thinking of a way to contact the users without bringing suspicion.

"I wonder if the beta-testers are on…" She said beginning to type out the GM search commands on her screen.

Koga

HP: 120/120
SP: 40/40

After a night of waiting for "Phantasy World" to install and update, It was finally ready. Koga had lifted himself from his bed exhausted but eager to try it out and how fortunate was the day for it to be complete. He didn't have work for the next couple of days and college classes were only on the weekends so he had time to go all out, given no one wants to chill with him today. He immediately raced to taking a quick shower before getting dressed in a punk like attire. He skipped over eating breakfast as usual and sat at his table with his laptop open. His eyes scanned his monitor and found the "Phantasy World" Icon. Double Click! Immediately a bright light filled his desktop with black words saying "Enter by your headset". He then slid the headset on and his suddenly before his eyes he entered the log in phase.

After typing out his information and immediately clicking enter, Koga's vision went a solid black and suddenly he appeared as though he was falling through a tube only to see at the end a light. His eyes widened as he watched in awe. As he reached the blinding light his eyes opened to an ancient arabic styled city with a variety of races around him. A tall beast man character knocked into him on accident apologizing shortly after. He, himself noticed his shining armor equipped to him. Koga seemed to walk the town exploring the districts of the city which was rather large. Eventually he decided to move back to the starting area because of this truth.

"I'll just explore it later…" He said looking the other way as he neared a "gate". As he began to select it, his character bowed righteously as he began to speak the area code yet suddenly he heard something. Near in fact, a NPC woman, getting ordered by a guard for tax and such. Koga wanted to do something but what could a lv.1 do? He examined more as the woman was thrown down by the guard. He sighed. "What the hell was with this game?" Koga said, finding that the game itself had quite a bit of mystery. Immediately the blonde haired knight teleported from the area to the level one zone.

The Ruins of Bestiavite

With a fancy flash, a female clothed in an all white attire appeared in the midst of a large ruin that lay in a thick swamp, located far in the eastern lands of the world. The ruins consisted of broken walls, rotten logs, and debris scattered about. Nature had long since claimed ownership of this man-made settlement, as each stone was overgrown with moss, the ruined houses now gave shelter to small wild-life, and grass sprouted out from the cracks between the cobblestone that was once a road for this town's inhabitants.

Bestiavite it was called. A town that was home to a few of the 'Beast' race that inhabited Phantasy World. Though they no longer do now... Crimsonia had stumbled onto this by accident, but remembered accurately that Bestiavite hadn't always been like this. “Something must've happened...” The white-haired woman muttered while she examined the rubble. Not that there was a reason to complain, it was an ever-changing realm after all. Many towns were attacked by rag-tag bands of bandits every now and then, but never like this. If this was banditry at all...

Step after step, Crimsonia's pink eyes absorbed every detail. Her conclusions turning darker with each second. Contacting a Game Master may be a wise idea, but they should not be disturbed unless necessary, and so the character carried on with an investigation of her own...

Justin's sleepy eyes scanned across his room before the young man's attention fell at his eggy toast. His bleak expression then turned to his alarm clock and almost combusted when he saw the time. 10:00am. "I'm really not a morning person..." He grumbled exhaustedly as he made several zombie like steps before setting his bowl down at his desk and collapsing into his seat like a ragdoll. There was a brief pause followed by a yawn as Justin blinked away the fatigue from only having just woken. He seemed to shiver involuntarily from the damp cold temperature in his room, a sensation which only seemed to aggravate his hatred of cold morning weather.

The overjoyed tweets of birds outside his bedroom window only seemed to offer jovial mockery at his current predicament as he bit into his morning breakfast. Abruptly, as if revitalised instantly by the toast, Justin's eyes perked up. "Alright! That hit the spot!" He announced loudly, seemingly taking a moment to admire the texture of the bread. There was a flicker of light as his computer finally burst into life. Staring at the visor located by his computer lazily, Justin sniffed as if in deep thought. A while back ago, he'd been assigned to investigate this game by his superior. An investigation into ongoing cybercrime the report had said.

He leaned back, enjoying the sensation of resistance provided by his chair's back support as his arms outstretched. The situation was interesting to say the least thus far. In all actuality he still couldn't tell which direction the story was going. "So i'll remain a bystander until things develop sufficiently!" He grinned widely before spinning in his seat like a child. As he came to a stop he picked up the visor and lifted it over his head, "Today should be the day...."

The only audible sound coming from her room was the rhythmic beats as Chiri tapped on a book in her lap. Lazily leaning far back in her desk chair, feet on desk, eyes closed as it fell even further back. A set of earphones clogged her ears from the outside world as she put herself in seclusion. She was often up before the rest of the house, simply sitting around listening to her music. It became more or less a daily routine for the past couple of years, and even better, she generally was not interrupted until breakfast had already been finished. However, on rare occurrences like today, "Chiri" her mother's voice rang out as the right phone was lifted.

Chiri, before responding went on ahead and took off the earphones before sitting up normally to look at her mother. "Yes mom?" Her voice held a tone of annoyance, like anyone would have once interrupted by a parent. "How about you come learn to cook breakfast with me today?", she smiled at her daughter. "Uh, no?" Her mother had tried this a few times, probably hoping that it would get her to take up more girlish things like cooking or something. She began to pull back up her earphones before pausing mid-way, remembering something of minor importance, "Hey mom, can I go to that rock concert with the guys later?". By 'with the guys' she of course meant her brothers. They often tried to sneak her out to do activities with them, however they were normally caught in the process and stopped.

"Oh please, you don't want to go to something as silly as that," Her mother responded lightly, while Chiri could only think otherwise, "How about we enroll you in dance classes hmm?". Chiri shook her head, "I'll pass on that...". Her mother frowned slightly, "Then can you at least join us for breakfast this time?". Chiri put on the earphones, not very interested in listening anymore, "I might come down later, I am not hungry at the moment." She moved to look against the wall, but kept her eyes on her mother, somewhat saddened that she was coursed away so easily. "Sorry little Derry, seems I can't go with you guys.." She muttered, thinking of her little 13 year old brother that kept talking about the concert for the past week.

"Whatever... Since that is out of the way I might as well check out that game..." Leaning forward, she grabs the visor from the top of her desk.

"Wow.." The growl-like voice broke his ears first as the buildings came to load. "Built in default voices for the races in voice chat, huh?" The deep-ish tone couldn't help but make him grin. As well, the layout of the city just from start point seemed like a great place to try and parkour. Though his mind set could not stick to the architecture for long. Characters were walking about in abundance, that or the NPCs were actually hard to figure out. A grim chuckle broke as he stared at each of them. "Just wait, after I grind for awhile, I will be back to break you all." His voice was muttered, as he began proceeding towards the starting gate.

"Now let's see how easy the little level one NPC's are to obliterate shall we?" The deep, animalistic voice could only make him feel sure of himself. A somewhat cocky, overpowering attitude took to his voice before even trying to fight the first monster.

Jack breathed inwardly as the arabian city of Gardenia came into his clearing vision, his eyes absorbing the scenes before him. The warmth and ambient sound created by the city's traffic was almost surreal. An abundance of different people, all doing different things, where going about their daily activities. This area was surprisingly active, and there was little doubt that Gardenia's first impression to many of those newcomers would be that of a chaotic mess. A wide grin appeared on the pale man's face as he tipped his hat in the direction of the sun. "Gardenia....It's been quite a while since i've spent time amongst the new characters" He commented, his view falling on many of the players before him. Curiosity took hold of him instinctively as he began to wander the streets aimlessly, his intentions unclear to those observing.

His avatar rounded a corner, entering an empty alleyway whose sole source of light was a single dimly lit lightpost. He scanned the area before him, clearly checking to ensure he was alone, before his shadow began to grow abruptly. Like an insidious monster out of a horror novel, Jack's shadow seemed to enlarge behind him. Its figure then distorted, mutating and thrusting wildly before finally calming after several final stutters. Suddenly, someone stepped out of the shadow like a magician. A tall, ambiguous figure in simple leather armor carrying a sword and shield, an entirely different person in apperance. This clone would be his doll, his eyes and ears while he worked from behind the scenes.

This was his odd habit. Using his shadow clone to interact with others that is. He'd been doing so almost since when he'd first started this game as a beta tester and as a result, few people knew him well. He emerged again from the alleyway to join the main street, but this time it was only his clone. Just then, a random comment caught his clones attention. He walked closer to discover a beast man fully clad in armor, his two handed sword immediately identifying him as a warrior. Sighing heavily, his clone stepped forwards and tapped the warrior on his shoulder casually.

"Good day fair sir! You're a new player right?" His clone smiled in a jokingly fashion, "I'm sorry to interrupt but, i just wanted to ask something. You wouldn't have happened to have recieved any messages from a GM lately would you? Something along the lines of...taking back this world?"

Varin grinned widely as he approached the gate, knowingly full well that no game started until it's first fight. He was going to finally take the first step in becoming the ultimate warrior. "Tha-", a tap came to his shoulder, interrupting his own train of thought. Partially annoyed he slowly turned around to glare at the man. It seemed to be one of the higher level players greeting him, in a rather peculiar way. He was not even intent on listening until word of a message came from the man's lips, a message of taking back this world. Varin now stared awkwardly at this man, partially confused as to why a GM would even need to take back a world.

"Are you making fun of me?" He growled, seeing this as some kind of joke. Whether it be this guy was mocking the fact that some new players might not know how to check their in game messages, or testing their knowledge on what the game is even about. There was always a player or two that liked picking on new players, so it was very plausible that this was one of them. "If only I could crush them right now.. Stupid level difference.." Varin could not help but think of grinding this 'kid' to dust. "I have no time for jokes..." He tries to brush off what they said, however it only kept coming back and plaguing his thoughts.

Glory, wouldn't that be the prize that would come from helping GMs? Let alone, if he could do it by himself, then he could prove to be the single strongest player. The thoughts of self-glorification were to great, he started dumping the idea of it being a simple prank. "Now listen here, with the power I am to grow, I would be the first to know, and last to join. Why? Because I will one day prove I am mightier than any player including the GMs. Even if I am lacking in level for now, I shall one day rise above all others." His laughter rang out as he turned away. "Just sit back and watch the show of my power."

GM- Vivi
"E'dellon Castle"
Class: Lvl.50 Bandit
HP: 2550/2550
SP: 1530/1530
EXP: 5/5
Gold: 2

From sunset, to sunrise, Vivi was used to the lack of players walking this world. It was within that time, she generally walked around the area to interact with the various NPC. However, this time she simply spent the entire night sitting on the walls of E'dellon Castle, looking out into the world with her blind eyes. She quietly waited, listening to the different sounds of the night within Phantasy World. For the other GMs this place may have been like their second home, however to Vivi is was practically her only home. A world that had changed far too much in the short time she walked upon it. Changed to the point, that her and the others needed to stand against an NPC. This is what echoed in her mind throughout the night, the fact they were going to take it all back.

Morning came far quicker than she had expected for both worlds. She could sense the drastic change of players logging into the world to continue their simple 'game'. The wind was blowing now, the gentle breeze every now and again comforting Vivi as she sat in wait. And when a familiar scent took to the air, she would finally stand, blankly looking down into the castle courtyard. "Oshiva has logged into Phantasy World" She muttered, almost acting like an ambience to the normal greeting of the game. When she first entered this world, it scared her. Player's scents would randomly disappear, and after a while, she learned they were simply logging off. Something she could not do.

Vivi had learned the layout of this castle quite well, so much infact, that even though she was blind she could walk about without any errors in direction. Drawing in one last breath, Vivi fell back off the wall, falling towards the courtyard. Her breath softly pushed out, as her mind counted the seconds. She pushed herself into position with her feet brushing the wall, twisting herself around to face towards the ground. The archway's curved edge portruding from the wall quickly approached. Sliding down, she pushed off just before the edge, tucking into a roll before hitting the ground. Forcefully she tried to stop herself, and once she did she extended out her hand, touching the wall. "Minor miscalculation in landing range... Reduce preparation for roll by .27 seconds. " The way she talked, indeed seemed like something robotic. Perhaps this was simply because she didn't need the useless scraps of a sentence when she was communicating .

She quietly walked along the halls, the open doorway allowing the wind to enter in a small breeze. She continued following the scent, searching for Oshiva, knowing that by the strength of it, she had in fact logged on. "Oshiva?" She spoke out, turning the last corner in the hall. "I wonder if the beta-testers are on…", a voice almost silent broke. Either her voice was further away from her microphone, or perhaps she was still a little ways away. Either way, as Vivi closed in closer to the scent, she poked her head into a room. "Oshiva?" She called again before entering, almost sure that she was looking directly at her.

"The plan becomes started today, right?" Vivi tried to smile, her speech pattern somewhat awkward as she tried to fill in the the sentence with uneeded words like most other players. "Anything I can perhaps be of use doing?" Again, her speech pattern was structured awkwardly. However, she knew that she could not simply send messages to other players so easily. The fact that she was blind kept her from written subjects, and since she could not have access to the outside world at will, she couldn't even type. In other words, it was impossible for Vivi to work as a normal player. Her own way, was to track down players by scent, if she can even catch wind of it.

The Ruins of Bestiavite

Out of the darkness, a shimmering light brightened Crimsonia's thoughts just a tad. Well, not an actual light, but the figure of something hiding behind the few brick walls that were still standing was certainly a welcoming sight, if the figure wasn't hostile that is. The mage approached carefully, as even non-hostile NPCs had the tendency to be savage when they wanted to be. Even more so if it was one of those Beasts types.

No, no... It wasn't a Beast. It certainly looked like one, but they were more akin to humans with animal additions, like ears and tails. Feline, to be more precise. How did Phantasy World call them... Gecko... Hecko... Whacky-Gizmos... Ne-Neko! That's it! Those stupid creatures who sew cat parts onto their own body. Okay, not really, but Crimsonia's owner thought them to be quite silly looking.

Approaching the frightened cat-dressed boy, the mage spoke calmly, attempting to soothe the scaredy-cat and revealing herself as a friend, rather than a possible killing-machine. “What are you doing here, kiddo? This is no place for a young boy like yourself...” No response, only more weeping and sobbing.

“Can you tell me what happened here?” Crimsonia dropped herself on her knees, trying to make eye contact with the frightened boy's eyes. “I am not here to hurt you... Honestly.”

They Neko finally looked up to the white-haired mage, muttering a few lines about the mess they sat in before speaking up. “Bad people... I-invaded... D-did... B-bad things.” The boy cowered, crouching away from his supposed saviour. “P-people l-like... You.” Like her? Players? No, they wouldn't be able to do more than scorch one innocent person before having the ban-hammer strike them down. Mages, perhaps? Likely, or was this kiddo referring to those- No, divine pansies wouldn't be able to lift one inch of their finger.

Unless they were Cultist, maybe. But those were probably more akin to mages than anything else. “It's all right, I am here to help...” Those words were uttered with slight boredom and annoyance. Oh how Lillian hated to make persuasive gestures. She, nor Crimsonia, had time for such things, there were better things to do.

“Are they, gone? T-the Cloaked men?” Crimsonia nodded, there was no sign of any other presence, not now anyway.

“They are gone, here, it is best if we leave for a safer area.” The mage stretched out her hand, dragging the Neko out of his hiding place. Gardenia wasn't too far from here, they would go there...

Jack's clone frowned at Varin's odd reaction as the warrior turned to walk away. First the warrior had suspected him, then he pronouced his strength as if he where the hero from a prophecy. Abruptly, the clone burst out into laughter, as if the absurdity of the warrior's speech had only just sunk in. "You're a stupidly bold person to say that" the clone giggled in short spurts at first before the hysteria took hold of him in full. In truth, the warrior's reaction had been so unexpected that his reponse had threw him. The clone covered his mouth before regaining its composure and stepping back alongside Varin. Its eyes seemed to gaze away from Varin for the moment, as if another simple glance could cause another episode of hysterics. Suddenly, with a smile crawling across the clones face, Jack strode around Varin casually, looking the warrior up and down as if he where performing some sort of inspection. Tapping the bottom of his chin, the clone came up face to face with Varin before his grin opened up fully into a smile.

"Just then you thought something like, 'I'll grind this stupid kid into the dust', right?" his clone teased, wagging a corrective a finger, "It was written pretty obviously on your face, but you know, i didn't mean to insult you or anything..."

His clone sniffed suddenly as his emotions where flipped around like a coin. "What a terrifying person, to think that you can't even ask a question without being suspected by the youth of today" He sobbed, feigning sadness. His clone staggered infront of Varin several steps before its cheeky grin seemed to return. "You don't know much about the situation of this world though do you? So heres a free tip for being so funny. If you value your gaming experience here, stay away from the king" The shadow clone bowed before disappearing amidst the crowd.

Jack had been observing from afar and started as the shadow clone returned to him. "Nothing yet, so we'll keep searching"

A rather disheveled Ryan looked at himself in the mirror, his eyes were red from sleeping with his contacts on. His hair was iconic of someone just woken up. He sighed and drew a brush through it, sorting out the mess. He'd already had breakfast. The advantage of having a break from studying; he could take the time to cook up some bacon and eggs rather then the uninspiring cereal that was usual fare. Not to mention it was sometime around late morning, he'd had the chance to lie in. Despite the apparent freedom he still felt bad about lazing around so much. True he spent a reasonable time last night doing a large amount of study so he could have today free. He'd put off playing Phantasy World mostly because of all the talk about how addicting it could be. He didn't want to find out it was while still having work to do, possibly once he started it would be difficult to stop. Cleaned up as much as he could bothered, seeing as he wasn't going to leave his room in soon, he settled in front of his computer. It seemed his dual monitors weren't going to be much use here. He wondered how a visor game would actually feel to play as he set the device on his head.

<Arkanis has logged into Phantasy World>

Arkanis
Gardenia
Bandit: Level 1
HP: 100/100
SP: 60/60
EXP: 1/5
Gold:

After a relatively long load, considering the speed of Ryan's PC, Arkanis stepped through the brilliantly rendered streets of the spawn zone. The avatar was just as impressive as the surroundings. Just as he was meant to appear, mysteriously white hair but with adorned pitch black attire and a head scarf to hide the hair if he wanted. That was the advantage of the virtual world, you could make a human as exotic as any other race. Although looking around Arkanis couldn't help but feel that perhaps another race could've been more interesting. It was too late now anyway, he would stick with his race and class. Most other players were probably all the fancy races. However he could certainly feel individual. Having unique skills was certainly something. At least he wouldn't have to compare with others, seeing as he was in essence a one off class construction. Enough about his character though. He turned his attention to all the other denizens of the beginner's city. It was a boiling pot for sure, everyone was so different and unique. Except for a few obvious figures he couldn't tell who was an NPC and who was a player.

Regardless, he wouldn't get anything done hanging around here. The bandit tried to orientate himself towards the walls of the city. Moving away from the center to find a route out. Supposing the Gardenia was where the low levels congregated the surrounding area would no doubt be reasonably safe. He could level up, get some gold and maybe find a quest or two. The world was an interesting place to explore, even just inside the city. There was a sense of realism around. Passing through back alleys and the slums of the city there was a sense of despair and poverty. It was odd seeing the NPC's begging and living in their own filth. He may have even fallen to donating to some if he had coinage to spare. He supposed there needed to be some disparity in the population, to simulate a real economy and such. Still, was this many poor and homeless reasonable?

Oshiva turned to Vivi and observed her character for a moment. Its not that she was surprised by Vivi's coming but rather each time, interested in how she designed her character. She walked over to her and took Vivi's hand leading her to a chair. Oshiva knew she was capable of moving the E'dellon's walls herself but felt like it was good to at least help, hoping Vivi didn't take it the wrong way. As she walked her to the chair Oshiva spoke.

"Indeed, Today is the day. We're actually going to go amongst the players again. Did you get my letter through the mail? basically explaining who we need? I want to remind you searching for players shan't be your job. Since I'm sure you would at least need to see the person once correct?"

Oshiva sat her in carefully and then walked gracefully to hers. She then coughed a little before taking a drag of her cigarette with her leg's crossed, obviously the same for her character since that is what her mind was thinking as well. She then took a slice of her cheesecake and spoke once more. She tried not to make too much sounds as she placed the fork back down bound to talk again.

"It shouldn't be too hard to find these characters but what will be the difficulty is rather finding convincing them. Even beta-testers may find this silly yet in truth its rather serious. Perhaps you may know or have thought of this but if this game is taking over and it is ran among a powerful server. Things may not be looking too good for the whole virtual network our world has going today. Not only that but medical problems may occur and such. There is much more risk then just getting beat down by a tyrant or such then we know and some reason - I feel that guy is the least of our worries…" Oshiva said as her voice grew worrisome. It was a little silly of a topic yet quite dangerous seeing the world ran by this whole network now. Had it been years ago such a topic would've been laughed upon but its not. The priestess folded her arms looking towards Vivi but wondering more so where the other GM was. It was definitely now that Oshiva said the meeting would be but in a positive note - It gives all the normal players time to experience the game first hand.
