| History |

Kieran honestly doesn't have that much interesting history behind him. He was born as the middle child, already with two older brothers. It was only a few years later when his mother had another child, this time, a girl. He grew up in a loud household, and since both of his parents were some very important members in and oil company, they didn't really have time to teach any one of their children basic manners, or how to deal with people. They basically fended for themselves, and while most days consisted of trying to avoid his cruel older brothers, he found that he had a duty to protect his younger sister from their schemes. As he grew older, he began to pick up his older siblings habits.

In school, he was quite the troublemaker, and though he got average grades, he found himself ending up in the Principal's office much more than he wanted to. His parents were called into school way too many times, and he got dozens of notes from his teachers to bring home. His brothers eventually started planning for their senior year prank, and Kieran was called in to help. It was the final straw for him, and after they poured oil all over the floors, switched around the locks on all the lockers, and wiped information from the computers, he was expelled.

He had to finish his last year at another school. After watching his brothers complete High School, and end up in low jobs with no colleges willing to accept them, he figured that he better start working a bit harder. He would have grown up just like his brothers, if all for one thing. He wanted to set a good example for his sister, and constantly hassled her to study and work hard even though he didn't himself. His protectiveness over her changed who he was. No other school would accept him because of his history, and his parents eventually resorted to money to solve their problems, like it had done for most of their life. Kieran is sure to work a bit harder here, however that doesn't mean he won't cause any trouble.

| Personality |

If it hadn't been for his protectiveness over his younger sister in his life, he would have ended up just like his brothers. They had a large circle of friends, of course these were only people that enjoyed their trickery and immature attitude. They never really held on like real friends later in life. Kieran has a lot of their traits, however mostly toned down so he's at least bearable. Of course, some people still can't stand to be near him. His attitude reflects that of a child. He's usually impatient and can't seem to keep his mouth shut, no matter what people say. From years of enduring teasing from his older brothers, he's become nearly immune to all insults, and anything people say to him. However because of this, he jokes around way too much, and mocks people constantly. To those who are easily affected by words, he can come off as a very rude person, even though most of what he says isn't true. On more than one occasion he's had to deal with people being angry at what he's said, and because of this, he finds himself resenting those who take everything too seriously, and can't deal with a joke every once in a while.

When he's not talking, he's doing something competitive, such as sports or other games. From years of competing with his brothers, he has grown to be very competitive, and cannot stand to lose anything. With his siblings hogging the video-games all the time when he was younger, he was forced to resort to their old-fashioned jigsaw puzzles they had. After doing these so often, and for many years, he grew to be very good at them, learning various methods and tricks to solve them quickly. During these various ways of competing is the only time when he'll be serious, and this is an extreme attitude change from his usual self. He's grown to believe that if you lose or fail, then you're nearly worthless, and he actually has a huge fear of losing at anything.

Due to this fear, he's extremely hard-working, and he tries his best at nearly all things, except those that he deems worthless. Such as Math. Kieran is more a creative person than a rule follower, and finds himself identifying with the art students and people geared more towards that then the geniuses. He's a natural people person, and a great communicator, hardly finding himself stressed or with any troubles at all. He's carefree, and usually happy, which seems to attract certain people. Though he can be a bit outspoken, and often speaks before he thinks, he has good intentions.

Alex sat in the back of her step-father's car next to Derek. Derek was staring out the window. Alex wondered what was on his mind right now. What kind of things did he think about? Alex fixes the headphones in her ear as her iPhone played a different song. Her small pale hand went through her messenger bag for the fourteenth time. Alex only knew that because Derek would always announce it every time she did so.

"Fourteen." Derek said without having to look at her. 'Right on time.' Alex thought to herself as her hand went over her fathers old camera, her camera, and her video camera. As well as flash for her camera in case she needed it. Alex couldn't contain her excitement so she took out her video camera and taped her family in the car. Derek made an effort to cover his face and her mother made weird faces causing Alex, and her step-father, to laugh. Alex put the video camera away and her mother motioned for her to take her earphones out. Alex proceeded to do so as her mother turned around to speak to both Alex and Derek.

"Now Derek, I need you to help Alex around the school. She doesn't know it as well as you do an it'd be of great help." Her mother said with a kind smile.

"Whatever." Derek responded still lookin out the window.

"He doesn't have to. I'm sure I can find someone nice enough to help out." Alex said and looked at Derek. He refused to look at her for a bit. When he final did, the look on his face was like he didn't want her there at all. This hurt Alex a bit but she didn't let it bother her. After all, they were family.

The car came to a stop in front of the entrance of the school. Derek and Alex got out of the car and grabbed her bags. Their parents didn't come and neither of them cared. They went to see what rooms they'd be in and who would be their roommates. Alex read the name of her roommate out loud. "Erin Springs. Who's that?"

"She's the music prodigy." Derek grunted before leaving to his room. Alex rolled her eyes and went to her room as well. She placed her bags on her bed and left. She had her camera in her hands as she went to where she came in and took pictures of the different students. Alex would run up to someone and snap the picture. Sometimes she's skip and giggle while doing. She didn't care if people thought it was weird. It's just how Alex was. Alex saw a girl with beautiful blue eyes and fumbled for her camera and quickly took a picture before she left.

Derek Peterson

Derek picked a bed and started to unpack his things. His roommate hasn't arrived yet which was good for Derek. He didn't want any distractions while he was organizing his things. Derek unpacked his few clothes he brought with him. One outit for each day of the week to wear with his brown jacket. Derek puts his clothes in a draw of the dresser then proceeded to the other items he brought with him. It wasn't much but it was fine for Derek. He placed his things exactly where he had to have them and set his alarm to go off at 6:56 am everyday.

Derek took out his notebook, pencil, and calculator and began workin on a problem he wrote last year. He did this every year. Derek would write various math equations at the end of the year so he had something to work on the next. It was away for him to challenge his own thinking and become better. The one he had been working on was completed in a matter of minutes. It was much easier than the others he had written. Derek set his notebook and pencil neatly on his nightstand and his calculator under his pillow. He did this for good luck. A weird habit Derek had developed.

He walked down stairs to see if he could find a classroom that was opened. Derek wanted a board to write on. As he reached the end of the steps he saw more students walking in. Derek lowered his head and played his hands in his jacket pocket. He looked up for a brief moment and caught Alex taking pictures of the students. She even managed to get a pictures of him. Derek scowled at her but her attention had been diverted to someone else. Derek watched as she nervously fumbled with her camera, something she rarely ever did. Then she snapped a pictures of someone and smiled as she looked at the result. Derek didn't feel like seeing who it was and turned to storm off down a random hallway. He didn't care if he got lost as long as he was away from that blue streaked freak of a step sister.
