Sylvia is the kind of leader who could recite your middle name, favorite color, worst nightmare, and most recent rules infraction off the top of her head and on the spot. What she does with all that information, however, she won't say.
Sylvia is quiet and calculating, but not entirely distant. She can be very friendly with a sarcastic and light sort of humor, though work often puts her in a darker or less communicative mood. Above all, she is locked in her work and in her complete concentration on if not complete loyalty to the Pioneer Program; Sylvia lives to challenge herself, and will work tirelessly to rise above challenges even if half the work is finding that challenge in the first place. Her personal connection has grown drastically with the program ever since she first had young scientists to mentor; watching and helping them grow only bolstered her commitment to the program's--more specifically, the pioneers'--success. Having already furthered her career to the position she desired, all of her ambition has now been channeled into the program and her protégées.
As a Head Supervisor, Sylvia has access to all of the Pioneer I at her disposal. As for her personal items in particular, she has a personal library that she will willing share with others (She Will remember, if you don't return it), a small arm PC, and a small stun baton for the sake of having a very last resort on hand. The rest is simply standards for a Head Supervisor's office and bedroom.
Sylvia, from birth, had always had a knack for detail. She could name all 114 of the United States presidents in order, and their parties, vice presidents, and wives or husbands by the age of 6, along all the elements of the periodic table and their properties. She excelled in the sciences, remembered maps and procedures, rules, names, concepts, theories, and more; in every field she could she gathered an arsenal of knowledge. As she got older, Sylvia begin to find ways to use this gift of hers. For a long while, she kept low, still absorbing information; at the same time, she was fascinated with the realm of politics and watched the workings of government like a hawk. She went to college and obtained several masters degrees with relative ease, making money on the side as a programmer until she became a full-time professor, teaching chemistry, biology and physics at basic and advanced levels. She was more than proficient at the jobs she had taken; though in truth, they lacked the satisfaction and challenge she craved. As the Second Space Race took off, she knew where she had to be. With a goal in sight, this was the time where she could exercise the full power of heightened observational and memory skills.
Right away, she already knew who to contact, their number and office hours. Getting in was easy enough. Starting as a mentor for the scientists, she adapted quickly; Sylvia knew the ships by heart, knew the names of her superiors and the janitors alike, and devoted herself to the cause, in particular, to her students. It wasn't long until her candidacy for Head Supervisor came, and it was just as swiftly put into motion.
Above all, she had wanted to embark out herself, and having achieved this, Sylvia was already over the moon in happiness. Working only harder for the Program, she now seems in constant motion, forever occupied.
