A lumbering child of the bear, renoun for his gladitorial prowess. He currently seeks a ship to take him around the world. His reason is unknown.
Reave's personality seems...out of place. He's a man of solitude; serenity. Though his form is monsterous, it betrays whom he really is outside of combat. He enjoys the sound of the ocean, and the winds of the mountain, the hot desert under his calloused feet. He doesn't talk much, even to his friends, and it's actually rare when he says more than a few words. Granted, he's not completely silent, as almost feral growls can be heard when adgitated, and he roars as a beast in battle. On the topic of battle, the man is actually what he appears; a brute. He's strong, and he knows how to control. Even though there is pure fury found in his battle-style, it is all under unbelievable control.
Reave's Reaver - A monsterous double-bit battle-axe, said to weigh almost seventy pounds. This massive cleaver has enough weight behind it when swung to smash stone, and with it's keen edge, comparable to that of a machete. One could shave with this weapon...granted they could control it. It also has a reinforced steel handle, allowing the shaft of the weapon to be used for parrying and blocking.
Reave's Right - A steel covered arm is more of armor, and a parrying tool, but least to say getting punched with this hand is more of a battering ram smashing into you. The knuckle ridges make his knucked assaults even more deadly.
Money Pouch with ten iron, twenty four bronze, and a handful of copper.
Reave grew up a normal life of a Child of the Bear. His family was one of the warrior's blood, and his destiny was foretold before he could form words in his mouth. A tribal guardian was to be his life. He would defend the tribe from all danger, and hazard. By age six, a weapon was already in his hands, and was practicing with his father, and the other tribesmembers whom were guardian. He grew attached to them all. But he didn't like his predetermined life. Fighting was pointless, if everything could be solved without violence. In his mind, if words could clash instead of weapons, this would be a much better place to live.
While training, those of the tribe soon began to learn that through Reave's rituals and practices, his abnormally blessed might. He could do what most adults in the camp could do just as he was very young. And this also came with immaculate size. The boy had girth and height to spare at his age. But his skill with a weapon was also as proficent. He could wield an axe with great prowess for his age, though he was stil bested by the more skilled warriors of the tribe, he came to respect this, and understood while he was strong, skill could go farther than strength alone.
When he had learnt everything that the village's most powerful warrior, Akaram, at the age of about twenty-nine, he was a true guardian. The tribe recognized him as their most endurant, hardest to stop fighter. His will was iron, and his body was steel. He kept this title for another four years, before deciding that he wanted to further his skills even more. He would leave the village in the care of Akaram, and the other guardians as he set out. He traveled for a year, before settling down in the city of Skale. While he traveled, though, he soon learned his love for the high mountain peaks and clifftops. The city would give him the oprotunity to visit the mountains he so loved.
However, after only a few days in Skale, Reave soon realized that he had no income. And having no job skills, he didn't know how to make money...untill he set eyes upon the arena. The Skale arena was popular. Famous in fact. Brutal games were held there every year. Skale got combatants from around the world that came and gambled their lives away in the arena. Reave quickly joined the ranks. He was a natural fighter, having spent a good portion of his life already defending the ones he loved and cared about. The money he won in the arena was more than enough to support him threefold. But after two years of arena-ing, Reave would face his toughest foe yet: Love. A woman named Louise fell for Reave, and he cherished her. Their love was beyond words.
After another six months, they were married, and soon had a house together in the mountains. Louise was an artist, as well as a part-time marksman. And even though Reave fought in the arena maybe every week, they still grew closer every day. It wasn't long before the Reave household had more than two residents. A sweet girl was born, and named Igrene after Reave's own mother. Reave turned out to be an exelent father, and husband. He grew very attached to his family. This life went on like this, as routine set in. Fighting became normal for Reave. It was just part of his life, no matter how he looked at it.
However, twelve years later, Reave decided it had been too long since he had seen his tribe. He and his family would travel down to the Ursa tribes, and they would greet him, and his family with open arms, particularly his own mentor, Akaram. He was proud of Reave, as he and almost the rest of the world had heard of the "Blonde haired beast from the Bear tribes, whom bested two and three foes at a time." He would spend about two weeks with his tribe, before going back toe Skale for a year. And this process would repeat for six years. And about that time, whenever Reave came for a visit, Akaram would always have a boy with him. Lian was his name. The outsider was Akaram's new student. It made him rather glad to see the old mentor still had it to make a man out of a boy.
Yet another six years had passed by. And during that time, Reave would only gain more renoun. His most impresive feat was fighting a lion with his bare hands, and winning(though gaining some nasty scars on his back). He would begin to consider retirement from the arena, having it's most impressive record of no losses and over 1,300 victories. However, his daughter left home two years ago, and he hadn't heard from her for a year, a great shocker due to her almost weekly letters. Her last letter was something about a pirate crew. Reave knew that his daughter could take care of herself...but he and Louise still worried their heads off. Finally, Reave got tired of waiting, and leaving his wife with almost all of his arena funding, his his word that he'd return with their daughter. He didn't know where to start, but figured there were only so many pirates in the sea. Trading his beloved peaks for cresting waves, Reave set out to find a pirate crew. He'd find his daughter....no matter what it took.
