Serna Sparrow's Story

Serna opened her eyes, standing before the biggest and most famous bar. The name she didn't care about, she was only caring about the rumors she had heard inside the bar. Apperantly, a man was telling pirates about a treasure, and she wanted it. She walked in, walking just like her father. She talked to the man, got a map and walked back out smiling. A rum bottle in her hand, she was content. Now only the lazy crew from there buts and to work.

Bartholomew yawned. "How long has it been since Serna left?" He muttered, pulling a watch out. "Half an hour? Mmmkay..." He muttered, sitting up and adjusting his hat so that nobody could see his eyes. "Alright, guess i'll just wait for her to get back. What about you guys?" He said, turning and facing at the few members of crew that stuck with him.

"Garh, I don't have a crew anymore, all of em is old and as rusty as the ship," Gangplank said, as he heard the rumor of the treasure. Truly, Gangplank's crew is full of old men, men in their 50s and 40s, most suffering from unknown diseases and ailments. He took his coat, and left the bar with it on his shoulder. His hands were in his pockets as he walked looking down thinking about the treasure and how rich could it make him be.

He heard a familiar foot step. He looked up and saw Serna, who was holding a map. He quickly grinned and thought, "So the Lassy is going on an adventure". He quickly turned around and headed to his house. It was nothing to boast, but nothing to be ashamed of. Being a pirate of his kind, he didn't have anybody, he lives alone. Usually his friends visit him, or he visits his friends. He has a boring life ever since the Rusty Roger was broken beyond repair.

"This could be my break, an adventure away from this boring life," he said as he pulled out an old Arabic scimitar. "Argh, Yes! This will do!" he said with joy as he pulled it up.

"Hmm? Oh, hey, Barbossa. Serna thinks that there is some Treasure or something. I'll just wait for her to give me the map so i can see if it's true or false or whatever." Bartholomew grunted, "And besides, i'd prefer it if you called me either Bartholomew or Jolly Roger. Even Jolly or Roger would suffice. Or i'll start calling you Joe, Joey, Joesephine - Oh, that's a good one." He continued, leaning against the side of the boat.

"Most people think that when i refer to myself as Roger, it's just my name. Heheh." Bartholomew laughed, "It's more of a title, really."

He knew Joeseph and he were just having banter, but people always seemed to listen in, like they were genuinely interested when he spoke of Jolly Roger. Ah, Bartholomew thought to himself, I do miss Grandpa. I loved his tales of his life as a Pirate. Maybe i could live up to the title of Jolly Roger...

Bartholomew watched Serna come onto the boat. He stood up, and started to call out to the crew. "Hey! Boys! Get back to work! Captains orders!" He yelled, smiling at Serna. He followed her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Captain, not hiding the map again are we?" He laughed, grinning at her now. "Come on, don't hide it. You can trust the Jolly Roger, right?"

Gangplank walked onto the ship. It was obviously bigger than his, but he handled bigger ones back when he was just a kid. "Or maybe cause I was smaller that's why those were bigger?" he said with a grin. He walked proud and looked at the crew, his pirate grin aimed at the ship's crew. "Aye, boy'o here is my Luggage," he said putting a large bag on a 20 year old lad.

With his body free from his luggage he quickly walked up to the steering wheel. Both hands on the helm, he looked at the crew from above. He took a deep breath smelling the salty air. "Oy! Lassy!" he yelled at the Captain from above, " I mean, Captain! When are we leaving?". The Captain didn't notice him. "Damn it," he muttered and shrugged.

He sat on one of the barrels beside the Helm and looked at the sky. "Is it getting dark?" he ask himself, but thought of something else, wondering what could be the treasure.

Serna looked at Joe and walked towards him. ''And who might this old-sea dog be?'' she questioned, looking at the man. She narrowed her eyes, not sure wether to trust him now.

''Wait.. I know you. You're the one I saw in Tortuga, when I was walking to my ship with the map.'' She looked at him and a smile played across her lips. ''Welcome aboard of the Black Pearl.'' She looked at Joe and then at the sea. ''Right, Port Royal, we'll be there in a few days. Stay on the ship when we're there, I need to handle something for my father.'' She sighed and took a sip of her rum. She couldn't live without the rum.

''Let him be at the wheel for a while Joe. See if we can trust him.'' She layd her hand on his shoulder and whispered, ''Keep an eye on 'em will ya?'' She looked at him seriously and then at Gangplank. ''You can be at the wheel, for a while.''

''Should be fine.'' Serna nodded at Joe and turned around, taking a sip from her drink. Though she barely knew her father, she had heard a lot about him and that she was almost exact like him. She sighed, wondering what they meant with looking like him.

"aye thank ye mate." said racker just as serna was walking out of the captains cabin "serna, serna!" shouted racker "i have something i want to show you." he said catching up to her

Serna looked around before her eyes fell on Nathaniel. She got her bottle of rum, took a sip and walked towards him in just the way her father used to walk. ''Who might you be?'' she asked him, looking at him with narrowed eyes. She was a bit suspicious because anyone of the Marine could dress them selves as a pirate and come aboard. She only wanted pirates and no one else.

Nathaniel whirled around quickly eyes landing on the girl in front of him. He half smirked at the bottle of rum in her hand "Little young for that aren't you?" "By the way im Nathaniel but you can call me smog or Nathaniel i dont care really. Im just looking to get out here see the world.."

Serna took another sip from the bottle. ''No I'm not. I'm Captain Serna Jack Sparrow. Daughter of Jack Sparrow.'' She looked at him and took a sip from the bottle of rum again. She was in many ways just like her father. Always drunk, doing stupid things but always,being alright in the end. A real pirate.
