Basics you should know.
You’ve done something that’s so terrible it’s all that you think about. It consumes you. It makes you incapable to function. You feel as if you want to start over, and you don’t want to end your life. Either way, the DH found you, and they’re eager to help. It’s the first promising good thing you’ve heard in awhile, and as convincing as it is, you don’t find anything to doubt against it. You, along with a few others agree. Your mind is suddenly erased, but your memory is saved in our data.
There is something we call “the blank state”
This is where you are yourself. You can’t specifically remember anything, but occasionally you’ll have flashbacks to past events, or tasks, but not before the treatment. Your personality and knowledge is there, but recollection of your family, friends, and life events isn’t there. You don’t question why you are where you are, you feel as if you belong.
Another things you should know.
The reason we went out of our way to find you, was because we need you. Not necessarily you specifically, but just a body and functioning mind.
We send you on tasks, and program you to think as we want you to. We have clients that come in, requesting a certain person. We can copy someone’s living or dead personality, and put it into you. We can give you characteristics like bad eyesight, asthma, or agility. We can start from scratch, and build a new you completely - whatever it is to fit the job.
Our clients aren’t here to buy you fully, only rent you. for a set time. Usually the standard is two weeks, a month for special occasions. They can want you for various reasons, love, lust, prove justice, and fulfil a legacy..
As for living. Here you are, in the lovely, Doll House. It is your home. You are friends with the others, and whenever you are not on a task you are free to roam the house as you please. There isn’t any feeling for wanting to leave, you are content where you are. But, being in the blank state, you don’t feel much of a sex drive. Love isn’t common in the house, because your stay is temporary, and this isn’t the matchmaker. Rarely, we do have some people who feel these emotions anyway, though it is uncommon. We keep six bedrooms total, but we don’t always have that many people. Rooms are standard, and the house is kept neat. Us workers are here for your comfort, and will accommodate you as needed. The nobodies:

Guy 1: You've been working for the DH for three years now, which means two more years to go. You know your way around, and basically the newbies feel as if they can ask you questions if they aren't willing to bother the staff. (Taken by Scarlet Loup)

Guy 2: You've somewhat recently joined the DH, and feel pretty comfortable, almost finished your first year.

Girl 1: You're in your second year, and mostly you've been given the tasks of love and lust. There isn’t an emotion to be tired of this - it just is and you know it as life. (Taken by bandgeek)

Girl 2: You've just finished your first year, congrats. Your tasks so far have been interesting, mostly just the filler of a girl who wasn’t needed for love or lust. You've begun to make a name for yourself with the DH, which is good. (Taken by Kura Ravengade)

Staff:
Guy 3: You've been working here for awhile, and you aren't brainwashed. You help the nobodies with daily tasks, as well as kindly explaining to them their given jobs. You set them on their way, and help them get around the house.

Girl 3: You've been hired as the cook, you make all the meals, and generally know all the gossip in the house. You and guy 3 are friends, and often find each other swapping info on what’s been happening. (Taken by radioinvader)

Guy 4: The designer. (Programmer) He programs the nobodies, and is pretty much the "computer geek" for the DH. He runs all of that. (Taken by OrphicTrumpeter)

Girl 4: The “ring master” She runs the place, and is generally in charge of everything. (reserved for MissBrightside_)

The Rules

1. Proper grammar and spelling..I'm begging you! Sure, I understand typos, we all have them! But try, please. And if you actually don't know how to spell any advanced words use Google.

2. Your character has been made for you..FOR YOU! Consider yourself lucky for not having to fill out some huge pre made bio. And, please..Don't go changing your character unless it is fine with me.

3. Stick to the plot, please. It's not a strict plot, after all. No creating your own fantasies and throwing random drama about, pulling it from thin air. It confuses members..
If you want to make major drama, PM me first and we'll try to work it out, but don't get mad if I say no. (Ideas for things to happen in the role play are gladly welcomed though. Ask !)

4. This will be a Literate role play, but not crazy literate! I'm not expecting you to write a biography of the character, but try to put good details in it. Need help?
Put what your character feels, emotions, see through their eyes, taste whatever it may be they're tasting, hear what they hear. Anything. Also, please don't have your post be nothing but summaries of other players actions with one little something from your own character at the end. People react to things, show us that! Minimum of 300 words per post, please, and there is no maximum, but really..Don't make it extremely long, we don't wanna read a book; we get enough of that from school.
Also, I know I said detail, but as for sex- you can make out until the clothes come off, then it's *Fades to black* or something like that. There can be romance, but remember, most of the nobodies can’t really feel much of a sex drive anyway, so I doubt that would be too much of a problem. Swearing I don't mind, however, not in every other sentence, please.

6. You may either OOC or PM me to reserve a slot/role, but I can't guarantee it. If you'd rather just submit a character, that's fine too, but you cannot submit characters for any taken slots. All the characters are game..Whoever I think did the best job gets it. If you reserve a character, I do promise to wait to read your character,and even give you a chance to fix anything that I didn't like. I'm not that difficult ! But if someone else submits for your spot, I will give you a chance before.

7. If you're not accepted, I am very sorry. I'm sure you're wonderful, why not try for a different spot! I will not accept any illiterate role players!! What can I say? We don't like noobs..

8. You have to read everything. How can you understand your role if you haven't read it? Plus, I have worked my brain and ass off on this dang role play! If you've read everything put 'Time to pretend' in the 'Other' section of your Character Sheet! You WILL NOT be accepted without it!!

9. You must be able to post a minimum of three times a week. That's pretty generous. I have many rough times posting myself. Also, don't get two posts in and leave. If you're taking too long in between posts, I'll PM you. If you don't speed up, we'll be happy to creatively kill off your character and open your slot to anyone else. We love killing off players.. :)

10. NO changing things that happen in the events once they're set!
