Description:
Ace has short whitish-grey hair and gold eyes. He wears simple black clothes beneath a hooded white jacket with a black fur trim. Since he’s frequently traveling the world, Ace carries a green backpack along with him full of basic camping equipment (nothing too fancy, just the basic essentials). Ace always puts on a pair of goggles whenever he’s about to fly through the skies with his Skarmory (Lorica), and will also wear a white scarf and a leather aviator’s hat if in higher altitudes or cold weather.

Personality:
Ace is a friendly and cheerful person who likes to live life by his own rules rather than the rules of others, yet he does have a sense of honor and will never break a promise. He is rather optimistic and carefree, but isn’t afraid to speak his mind. To Ace he’s just being honest with people, but in some situations it may come out as tactless or insensitive without him realizing it.

Ace is constantly on the lookout for new and exciting things, even though his curiosity can sometimes get him into trouble. He loves to travel and explore new places, and is always happy to meet new people. While Ace can be rather enthusiastic and energetic at times, he can also be rather impatient. Ace gets incredibly bored when there’s nothing to do, so he’ll try to break free of that boredom by giving himself something to do or by meddling in other people’s affairs. Ace can be a hard-worker when it comes to things that interest him or when properly motivated, but when forced to do work that he views as boring he’ll start looking for ways to avoid it.

Ace is confident in himself and his abilities, but prefers to avoid unnecessary conflict if able. He’ll always try to find a peaceful resolution to a problem before even considering a more violent solution. When a fight is unavoidable, Ace is a resourceful tactician who likes taking advantage of the environment around him. Ace hates feeling useless in a dire situation, often getting frustrated when there is nothing he can do to help.



Pokemon:
Ace cares for the safety of his pokemon, and never wants to force them into fighting an opponent he knows they can’t handle. Ace sees his pokemon as his friends, not tools for battle. Ace trains his pokemon not for tournaments, but rather to be better prepared for fending off dangerous pokemon in the wild. Ace doesn’t really care for battling other trainers with his pokemon, but might agree if it’s a friendly sparring match intended for training.


“Chii”
(female Chinchou, level 25)
Ace started his pokemon adventure with “Chii-chan” at his side. Gullible and clumsy, Chii is a warmhearted pokemon who enjoys making new friends and mimicking others. While at home in an underwater environment, Chii is curious about the world above water and is easily distracted. She can get by on land with her stubby little legs, but she loves being carried around by people.


“Sven”
(male Furret, level 20)
Sven was one of the first pokemon Ace caught, way back when Sven was still a Sentret. Sven is often a prankster who enjoys playing around with others, but he is brave and intrepid in times of crisis. He is incredibly quick on his feet, able to quickly get in and out of danger faster than most pokemon.


“Lorica”
(female Skarmory, level 20)
Tall and daunting, Lorica is slow to trust people she doesn’t know but overly protective of those who have earned her trust. Lorica is able to carry Ace on her back while she flies through the skies, but it is difficult for her to attack wild pokemon while doing so.

History :
Ace grew up in Vermillion City, and has been fascinated by pokemon for as long as he can remember. His parents were members of the Vermillion City Pokemon Fan Club, so Ace was often surrounded by many different types of pokemon throughout his childhood. Ace won a ticket on the S.S. Aqua when he was 12, thus he set off to Johto and began his journey as a pokemon trainer. Ace spent several years exploring Johto before returning to his homeland of Kanto.

To make money during his travels, Ace began working as a courier specializing in express deliveries between cities by riding on the back of his Skarmory, Lorica. He started out mostly delivering packages between pokemon centers or to pokemon professors, but now he even makes deliveries for companies like Silph Co.
