Veilstone City

This mountainside city was heavily populated until very recently when a group of feral pokespirit wielders quite literally consumed it and everyone in it from within. As far as the rest of the word is concerned, Veilstone City is one of the most dangerous places in the region and anyone who lives there is probably insane. "We don't go there anymore," they say. "

The truth, of course, is a bit different. While the story of feral pokespirit wielders going on a cannibalistic, murderous rampage to drive everyone out of the city is very much true, the current residents aren't quite those people. The original residents have long since passed away from their illness and the city has been taken back by somewhat less volatile but no less cannibalistic residents. This small community of proud cannibals watches each other's backs. They do not eat each other, normally anyway, but outsiders are viewed as potential prey. This is the only place in Sinnoh where being "skinny" makes you stick out.

In the center of the city is the Veilstone Department Store, repurposed as the primary living quarters of Veilstone's citizens. The Game Corner is located to the south, repurposed as a meal area. Lastly, to the north lies the seldom-used Galactic Veilstone Building.

The city, like many cities in Sinnoh, is somewhat filthy and crumbling at first glance.
