Dear gravity, you held me down in this starless city
They say they only want the best wishes for me

The brunette is a very private person, but is not averse to conversation or entertaining the press. He simply has a greater preference towards spending time with his Pokémon, choreographing a fresh routine in his head as he answers interview questions. He's someone who will breed his own Pokémon or catch them himself, seeing trading as a way to cheat himself out of a challenge. Having grown up around Pokemon as the child of the Daycare Center couple, Anton knows firsthand the struggles of training them from the ground up. He'd never give that sense of accomplishment to anyone else.
With the way he's engineered, Anton is an incredibly self-centered person. That's not an entirely bad thing as it means he has a healthy dose of self-confidence, but it does mean that he will care little about others and the situation around him. The world could be crashing down around him and Antonio's first instinct would be to save himself and his Pokémon, disregarding the safety of those he might leave behind. Anton is simply too self-involved to bring anything to the table. Shameful as it is, he's not sure if he'll jump to help if he sees a crime unfold in front of his eyes.
Despite that, when he does care, he cares deeply. His Pokémon are proof of that, all tended and cared for with a loving hand that would make a pampered baby seem manhandled. His way of expressing his affection towards humans may be awkward, but those that have gotten used to his rhythms acknowledge his almost motherly tendencies. Just don't expect to reach his friendship easily; one must mount a wall as high as the Versuch Mountain Range to get over his self-involvement.
