Name: Caspian Finn Bishop

Title/Alias/Nickname*: Raptor, Cas

Age: Nineteen

Gender: Demigirl

Sexual Orientation: Homosexual

Species: Garchomp

Ability: Rough Skin - her skin is tough to the touch, and moving anything softer than steel along it can slice up and shred the object.

Moveset:
Dragon Rage- harvests Cas's energy to send out a shockwave of dragon power, able to throw back her opponents and act as a momentary shield.

Dragon Claw- Cas's long uniform sleeves become scythes identical to her Pokemon half, and slicing at an opponent sends powerful, concentrated plasma blasts that can slice through most metals.

Dual Chop- Cas's twin swords become multiple times their size but light as feathers, allowing her to deal massive damage with the swords. (The move lengthens them to roughly seven feet long.)

Dig- Cas can move the earth below her at a whim, opening holes under herself or her opponent and providing an easy way to excavate underground rooms for the Gijinka Resistance. It requires as much energy as physically excavating.

Personality:
Caspian's personality matches her draconic half- rugged, fierce, and protective of her own. She strongly values chivalry, and could be compared to a knight in her behaviors. Putting nobility and the lives of others (she deems worthy) above her own cause, Cas tends to get distracted when innocent people are at risk. For this reason she is driven to do great things as well, one such being a co-leader of the Gijinka Resistance. She has a very tough exterior, but a soft spot in her heart for the helpless and the underdogs- being one herself when she was younger. She wholeheartedly supports those she cares for, becoming rather selfless in assisting the endeavors of others. However, she does come off as rather frightening and vicious due to her heavily-armed appearance. In spite of this, she tends to be very jolly and playful outside of serious duties. But her dragon heritage isn't without its perks- she's incredibly powerful, even among true Pokemon, and her speed is nothing to laugh at. In battle, she uses the small Garchompite she wears around her neck to increase her power, and while this has perks, it also makes Cas arguably more 'feral'. Her reputation is usually because of her fearsome feats in battle- an aura of strength and respect precedes her in most Gijinka communities. She's been around a lot longer than the Resistance, and likes to think she's an essential part of fighting for freedom and equality. She's pretty much the backbone of violent resistance and discipline within the ranks, and is far too restless and battle-happy to be out in the middle of the city as much as other Gijinka. Her pride keeps her from disguising herself as a human, and as a result has had many run-ins with Hunters.

Strengths:
+ disciplined
+ powerful
+ morally strong
+ protective
+ chivalrous
Weaknesses:
- proud
- restless
- violent
- moral extremist
- hotheaded

Appearance:
Cas is a tall, slender thing with a boyish frame and a love for military garb. She has a very pale complexion from spending most of her time down in the Resistance HQ, but this doesn't mean she's any less experienced for it. Lean muscles lend her a power boasted by her many scars from fights, and her weapons are carefully maintained but obviously used. Caspian prides herself on her extensive power, mostly undetectable from a quick glance-over. She's also very proud of her Gijinka heritage, sure to dress as such- which makes it difficult for her to go on undercover missions. (see images for full clothing descriptions)

Gang/Group/Organization*: Gijinka Co-Leader

Other*: Experienced in hand-to-hand combat, long-range weapons, and swordplay. :0

Sometimes, Cas was grateful to her dragon heritage and tolerance of high heats, but now was absolutely not one of those times. Sure, she had an incredible body temperature system, but it didn't take cold weather quite too kindly and the Flaafy wool she'd bundled up in might be more helpful if it was on fire. Luckily, Cas didn't have to go very high up in the mountains, but the only people who ever had were afflicted horribly, and much better prepared than the Garchomp Gijinka. She huffed out a cloud of white particles, watching her frozen breath drift away across the jagged peaks. Leaping with inhuman agility up to a higher ledge, she steadied herself and sat, catching her breath and trying desperately to use her inner heat to warm up a little. She'd heard rumors and legends of a community of Ice-Type Gijinkas residing on one of the peaks, but as her typing was incredibly weak to ice, she hoped to not make an enemy of anything living up here in general, Pokemon or not. Watching the snow settle below, Cas noticed a blurry shape moving across the icy landscape. What else could possibly be up here? Maybe it was an Ice Gijinka, she thought excitedly. Allowing herself to slip off the ledge and land on the secure rock area below, she quietly skirted away so she wasn't downwind of the shape. Creeping closer, the cold forgotten, Cas narrowed her eyes and tried to make something out of the two. She was hesitant to call out in case the thing was a hunter, or unfriendly Pokemon. Praying to Arceus, she got as close as she dared, observing whatever was out there in the flurries of snow that were obstructing her vision.

clop,clop,clop,clop...

Crisp and cool mountain air bit at the doctor's face as hooves effortlessly traversed the ice and rock. Dr.Bixx rode atop her Gogoat, watching her surroundings through darkly tinted glasses. As cold as it was here, it was better than being in the institute wanting to deck someone in the face. She sighed through her face mask, gloved hands scribbling down her observations...that being jack shit at this time. She had been here for nearly two days and still nothing aside from the occasional Snowrun, swinub and abomasnow. No Gijinka like she had been told. At least none native for this climate.

She sighed and yawned, causing her Gogoat to stop and bleat with consern. "I'm alright Satyr. We can keep going if you're up for it." The gogoat baaed in response and continued it's steady stride. She hoped that her treak into this frozen landscape wouldn't be all for naught. Even then if she found something interesting like a community, that would be for her own studies. No need to disturb such a village with an onslaught of human activity

Caspian listened to the sharp clopping noises, muffled by the flurries swirling across the mountains. She leaned against a tall pine, one of the few hardy things to survive up here. Watching as a Gogoat came into view, Cas briefly wondered if they were edible raw. Shaking her head to dismiss the ridiculous idea, Cas sized up the tall human atop the goat Pokemon. The snow was blurring the image, but the duo was close enough for the Gijinka to get a pretty good idea of what they looked like. The woman had long teal hair and dark glasses, and a slender frame. She wore a lot of clothes to keep warm, but her constant scribbling in a notebook reminded Caspian of a scientist. If the gijinka had to guess, she'd say that they were both following the same rumors of the Ice Gijinka village. Observing the Gogoat's steady trot up the mountain, Caspian decided to follow- the woman seemed to have a much better idea of where she was going.

Caspian's feet dug into the snow, her body heat slowly slipping away as the sharp flakes dug into her face. She made good time, trailing the two with about ten feet to spare. Cas was honestly fed up with the freezing climate, and wished she'd chosen some other Resistance member to search. As a Co-Leader, though, she had to take responsibility and set a good example of strength. Plus, she'd gotten pretty restless sitting around and patrolling the HQ. The Gijinka, on autopilot, slipped on a icy stone and collapsed with a loud thwump into the thick snow. Unless the scientist was all kinds of distracted, there was no way she'd missed Caspian's ungraceful fall.

The climb up the mountain was starting to become fruitless. If there was any sort a village up on this arceus forsaken mountain, then it was hidden very well. Bixx sighed, an icy fog flowing from out of the cloth around her face. There was no point in making her Pokemon suffer this cold any longer. "Come on satyr. Time to hea- it was then then that her go goat turned around and bleeted loudly at the thump behind them ready to defend himself and his trainer. In the buck, Beatrix had drop her small leather book in the snow causing her to groan in irritation and climb over the saddle bags and off of her goat.

"Who's there? she called out in her normal, emotionless tone to the figure ahead of them now. With all the snow, she couldn't see exactly what or who was behind her following her. However she did have a few ideas. She knew the institute was getting tired of her sass and less than useful field notes, so it wouldn't be surprising if one of her colleagues had been following her up the mountain. At the very least they could've made themselves known to her ahead of time so they could share some of the warmth instead of her hunkering down in ice caves and abandoned abomasnow burrows.

Caspian's skin burned from the cold, gasping for air and getting snow. She spat out the freezing snow water, she groaned. Her cover was blown, very blown. Cursing, the Gijinka hauled herself up. Hopefully the scientist wasn't one who was more fond of the brutal methods that the DISC used. She assumed the snow still kept her mostly obscured from the scientist. Caspian crouched, hoping the Gogoat wasn't as fast as she, and broke into a dead sprint down the mountain, snow skidding out from under her feet, and promptly fell onto her rear, sliding down the slope a far ways before landing in a large drift. Caspian cursed her clumsiness and poor representation of Gijinka, trying (unsuccessfully) to excavate herself from the large drift.

Satyr bleated as Beatrix tried to get a clearer view of what or who was following them. She had been in these mountains many a time and wasn't going to have some rookie freeze to death in the snow. And if she could get a hold of him, she would so give this rookie an earful for interrupting her field study. Even if she was at a dead end at this point.

"Hey! HEY! DON'T RUN AWAY FROM ME ROOKIE!" she yelled as the figure sprinted hard away from them. She knew some of her colleagues were athletes in their own right but even she could tell that was a bit too fast. "Let's go save him before they slip off the side." The gogoat huffed as she got back in the saddle. In this weather, her steed wasn't the fastest, but it was better than subjecting her scolipede to this kind of cold. Yes, she was a strudy bug. A hardy one at that, but like all of her kind one would know when she didn't like something and the cold was very much something she didn't like.

The chase was a short one, shorted than she really expected but with a better outcome than she really could have anticipated. A gijinka had eaten snow and she and her goat had skidded upon the situation. At least they hadn't tumbled to their doom off the side. "Heyo...Didn't mean to frighten you. Thought your vere one of me co-vorkers." she said, her tone a bit warmer and her accent coming through a bit. "Vat's a Garchomp have gallop in this snow? You'd be at a sefere disadfantage ven it really kicks up. The Gogoat baaed a greeting before shivering from the cold. The teal haired scientist dug into one of her saddle bags and pulled out a thick woven cloth and tossed it over the Gijinka. "Iv you need a ride off zhe mountain, I know some short cuts."

Caspian shivered in the snow, pulling herself out of the snow as the Gogoat approached. Shaking snow out of her ears, the Garchomp Gijinka heard a voice touched with an accent she didn't recognize. Sighing at the friendly tone, Cas nodded at the scientist's observation. "Chasing rumors, it seems. You?" Cas wrapped the cloth tight around herself, trying to regain body heat. "I think I will; there's been no sign of the village I'm after. Is that what you're looking for too?" Cas somehow trusted the scientist already. The woman seemed nice enough; she hadn't tried to capture or kill her yet. Briefly wondering if she was known by the DISR, Cas decided to accept the offer of a ride off the mountain- she'd die trying to get down alone.

Beatrix snickered. "Nah. If there is a village up here, zey do not want to be bosered, und rightfully so. She said as satyr started to shiver a bit. The snow was starting to pick up as the sun's light started to dim. It was only a matter of time until the real cold set in at night. "Hop on. If we head down now, we can probably make it down by nightfall if not sooner. I'd rather not leave a child without the knowledge that their mother is stuck up here." Satyr bleated, stepping in place to get some warmth in him too and looking quite ready to get off this arceus banished mountain. Bixx herself shivvered under her many layers of clothing. This cold was unforgiving enough, right now she would rather be at home with some hot cocoa or at lapas beach soaking up some sun than in this cold.

Caspian smiled as the other woman snickered, deciding that her identity was probably safe. Watching the Gogoat shiver, Cas climbed on obligingly and wrapped the blanket tighter around her shoulders. She felt warmer as her legs brushed against the Pokemon, and realized that the Scientist hadn't made any moves toward her, based on her Gijinka identity. Puffing out a warm breath and watching it swirl away into the snowstorm, she cleared her throat. "Thank you for the ride. I appreciate your help." She decided to stay quiet as to not waste any warmth as they bounded down the mountain. Caspian, with the disappointment of being unable to find the hidden village, pondered what the next move for the Resistance would be.

The Gogoat bounded off the mountain in precise and practiced steps as Bix shurgged every now and again in her gear. Making quick use of every passageway and ice tube to make their way down the mountain quickly. All the while, the doctor took notes of the pokemon life that she could spot up here. A pair of glaceon and a small herd of pilowswine with swinubs. While she didn't find the village she sought, a gijinka looking for a ride down was at least some sort of plus. "You're fery velcome, Dragons don't stay long up here in my experience. she hummed as they trotted through one last tunnel before starting to trot on frosted grass.

"Vee vill soon be heading into Oneta, Garchomp. From here I have a straight shot to zeh institute and I doubt you'd vant to return there vith me. Satyr bleated as it stopped to shake the snow out of his fur. "Don't vorry. I won't tell them that I gave you a ride, but if you go a bit east from here you can go through Merrima and into Cobrapeak without harm." Bix turned to the gijinka behind her, letting her gogoat lower itself the ground and take a breather for a short bit.
