I called out to her but didn't her a thing I got worried and looked around even more worried and scared. Bloom

ImageInstinctively, Bloom put her arm over Hama and pulled her close, attempting to keep her safe from the raging wind and sea spray though Bloom's thoughts still rested on Vixy, she wondered how such a 'large' pokémon could escape the water. But Bloom's concern was interupted as a new member climbed aboard, "H-Hello!" the small Vulpix spoke. "Oh my!" Bloom yelped in surprise, "How did you? Poor dear! Are you wet?" Bloom rushed over to the small Vulpix that dawned the scarf in its mouth and attempted to protect it from the water.

As the boat bumped and jolted over the water, Bloom sat herself on the deck of the boat and tried to keep the Vulpix away from the water's harm by leaning herself over it. Then suddenly Bloom remembered Hama's un-easyness with the boats movement and turned to face her again, stretching out her hand to offer to Hama to allow her into the 'bubble' of warmth and protection Bloom created by wrapping her ears around the Vulpix.

Sardotha

I heard the commotion going on near the back of the boat and I glanced over my shoulder, seeing that a stowaway had gotten onto the ship. I tilted my head and then rolled my eyes towards the ocean as the Vulpix showed everyone the picture and I got back to staring at the blue water. The splashing of the ocean spray calmed me finally and I glared at the horizon, the sun reflecting off the surface of the sea. I reminded myself that we needed not to get distracted from the current mission. It would be rude to just turn around and drop off the poor child in her time of need. It warmed my heart though: thinking about such a small pokemon having such a big heart for her trainer. I hid the happiness behind my blank stare out onto the ocean.

~~~~~~~~~~~Timeskip (Ten hours later)~~~~~~~~~~
The late night drew on and I luckily kept my eyes open, the bags under my eyes not affecting my performance of driving. The moonlightImage reflected off the ocean in a different way, making my skin more of a dark black than a light blue. I viewed the horizon as I saw small sparkles of light leading to the region of Hoenn. Finally, we had almost reached our destination. Yet, the machine I was driving was acting up. We were about a feet from the shore when the boat started to loose acceleration. I stared at the control panel and noticed that there was a needle that was pointing to the letter 'E' and blinking at a medium pace. At this point, the boat had completely stopped, so close to the large body of land, yet so far. I noticed that there was quite a long rope on the far deck of the ship.
I cut the engine, sprinting over to the rope and quickly tied it around the point where railings met at the tip of the machine. I then got on top of the railing and looked at the dozing pokemon. I shouted to them, "Hey! I'm going overboard." I held the other end of the rope and saluted with the other hand as I dipped into the water, making a calm splash. I rushed through the water, the bubbles of my breath streaming passed me as I swam. Thankfully, I had reached the shore before the line had gotten some resistance from the boat's weight. I scanned around and eventually found a post to tie the other end of the rope onto. I pulled on the rope slowly, knowing that if I tried to use all of the energy I had at once, I would give out easily. Either way, the boat was nonetheless heavy. I strained against the resistance and got the hunk of metal moving. After a few minutes of pulling, I had gotten it to shore and let out a final grunt.
Everyone had gotten out of the boat and I sighed, still trying to catch my breath from the pulling.
Hama looked at Sardotha quietly as he hopped off the side of the boat. She watched him pull the boat to shore, wishing she could have helped him in some way as it looked like it'd been a lot of work. When everyone was finally off the boat, Hama nuzzled Sardotha's arm with her little nose. "Thank you for driving us here." She paused. "I guess I should let you know that Hoenn is my home Region, and I live in Fortree City." She looked to the others, thinking of what to say next.
She decided that words weren't needed right then, so she began walking down the path. Soon enough though, she could see the city before them. "I think we're at Lilycove City!" she exclaimed. "Route 121 is West from here, then we'd hit a corner and turn right onto Route 120, and at the end of that road, once we turn left, we'd be in Fortree City!" She turned around and looked to the others. "I'm not sure where you all wish to go." She heard a soft rustling in a tree near them, and she was pretty sure that she saw a Zubat flying away from them. Strange.... she thought to herself.
Vixy hoped up on the boat once more and put down the pack she had been carrying as well. She didn't want the bag to get wet so she made sure she placed it beside Sardotha and under the control panel in a safe little nook. There. Now the ocean spray wouldn't get to it. At the pokemon's mention of sitting down and holding onto something, she quickly took a seat as far away from the rails as she could. When the boat picked up speed, she found herself digging her claws into the seat and curling her tails around herself. She loved speed and it was exhilarating to be flying over the water this way, but she was afraid that going this fast would somehow make the boat flip. That would be a disaster. She did not want to land in the water and be stranded for any length of time.
She heard a commotion and looked up and over at Bloom and Hama. Her bright red eyes widened when she saw the little Vulpix on the deck. Oh! The poor thing! She was probably so scared and alone. And the ocean spray wouldn't be very comforting for the little thing. She jumped off of her seat and hurried over to the other pokemon and gave the Vulpix a little smile, feeling an instant connection since they were practically related. She had another fire pokemon with her to!
"It is okay, sweetie. We'll help you find your trainer. We are looking for our trainers to," she explained before she lay down beside the others and wrapped her long fluffy tails around all of them. Feeling the breeze and the light touch of the water spray didn't seem to bother her too much now that she was helping to protect someone else.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Vixy blinked and raised her head in a little bit of confusion when the boat came to a stop. She looked out and saw that they had made it to land finally. She gave a bright smile and slowly uncurled her warmth from around the other pokemon and gave a great big stretch, claws lightly scratching the deck beneath her. She shook of and groomed down her chest just a moment. "Wake up, sleepy heads! We have made it!" she sang. She looked down at the little Vulpix and nuzzled her to. She leaned down and took a mouthful of the young foxs' scruff in her mouth to lift her up off the floor. With the Vulpix's short legs, she knew the little thing would be hard pressed to try and keep up with everyone else's long strides. She ran to the edge of the boat and jumped. She soared through the air briefly before landing gracefully on the deck beside Hama and Sardotha. She put Flame down gently then.

"Sardotha, thank you for driving the boat," she said, repeating Hama's words. "I can't believe we finally made it. One step closer to the Sevii Islands..." Then she paused. She forgot the backpack on the boat! She scrambled back on board and managed to get the pack onto her back before she hurried down again.

Vixy smiled at Hama. "This is your home? You came a long way to Castelia and back. A well traveled pokemon," she said a bit lighthearted at their situation. "Now that we are here, where do we go?" she asked. She hadn't traveled much at all and she didn't know the direction of the Sevii Islands. Was there something else they had to go first?

Sardotha

I nodded my head at the thanks, knowing that I definitely deserved it. After taking a breather, I sat myself up on a small post that was stuck in the sea and stared at my surroundings. This was a different landscape; more oceanic than I'm used to. Of course, I couldn't get enough of the water. I knew that it would be easy for me to get off and on this island, but everyone else was other than a water-type. I stood myself up and suggested, "I think we should head for a clothing depart-" Suddenly, I flicked my head at the direction of the rustling going on in the bushes. Up, emerged a zubat that was spying on us most likely. I took my time with my hands as I formed the four-pointed shuriken. As I waited, the bat's back revealed something in moonlight: a spade symbol? It seemed pretty suspicious to me, but I wasn't going to kill the zubat because of it.

I stopped with the anxiousness and dropped the water, thinking, "I shouldn't hurt him." I got right back to the situation and continued on, saying, "We should to a clothing department and get prepared for the weather ahead. The Sevii Islands are known for their cool beaches in the summer and snow in the winter, so we need to cover up for that."Image I kept on going through thoughts in my mind and then stated, "Afterwards, we can go get more food, water... and then, I guess we can head over to Fortree. As long as we're getting farther in this journey." I gathered everyone and headed into town. The city was at a slightly smaller scale than the city before us. There were long streets stretching to various markets and other shops such as that. As I kept looking, I spotted my eyes on this one shop for clothing. A more permanent establishment.

I went straight through the doors, as yet again the power was still working and they slid open for us. There wasn't much touched and most of the small energy bars at the cashier desk were obviously snatched. I viewed around at the clothing department and continued into the deeper regions of the store.

Bloom

ImageBloom was almost asleep, happily snuggled into the warmth of Vixy's tails, and hadn't noticed Sardotha moving until he called to tell them he was going overboard and she jolted with the movement of the boat. Standing then to look over the railing, Bloom held tightly on as the Greninja began to pull at the rope, "Hey! Don't over-work yourself" she called to him, her tone struck with concern. Pulling a boat to shore didn't look easy, especially with other pokémon on board.

Once on land, Bloom hurried off the boat, ushering the smaller Pokémon off before her so she could make sure they were safe before she walked down to Sardotha and stepped close, he didn't seem one for socialising, so for a moment Bloom just stood and shuffled her feet nervously, until she decided upon something to say but was then stopped by Sardotha's words before she could even open her mouth. Bloom's ears flickered as she heard the same rustling of the bush, and turned her head to se the Zubat appear, then turned back to see Sardotha forming what seemed like a four-pointed weapon made out of water.

Bloom eeped and rushed back over to the other Pokémon, trying to protect them incase a fight broke out. But fortunately, Sardotha dissolved his weapon-thing and continued on with his words. Nodding then, Bloom stepped away from the others and began to follow Sardotha to the clothing store he had mentioned. Once there, Bloom seemed to forget how tired she was as her face and eyes lit up in a big smile, "Oh my gosh! Look how cute all these accesories are!" Bloom bounded off the the Pokémon winter section and began trying on various hats and scarfs, wondering why Megan had not come here sooner before entering her into contests - with this kind of style, she would have won by a mile and a half!

Vixy hadn't noticed the rustling of leaves at first, but she was well aware of the tension that had suddenly arisen around her by her companions. She looked up to catch a glimpse of the Zubat that had caught everyones attention. She tilted her head to the side, her shiny silver fur bristling. If anything, maybe she could protect the little Vulpix beside her. Fortunately, the Zubat flew away and everyone relaxed. They were safe again. She wondered what was up with this Zubat and the Umbreon from before. Was there some type of connection? Were they being watched? Why? They hadn't done anything extraordinary. She shook off her anger and turned to the little fox beside her then.

"My name is Vixy. And yours?" she asked as she followed her companions towards the clothing store.

Once in the store, her eyes widened. There really were so many cute things! She almost wished she walked on two legs. Most of the really cute clothes were for Pokemon that walked around on two feet. And it must be so easy for them to change clothes! They could use their hands to unbutton things after all. She wagged her tails behind her as she watched Bloom bounce around and sifting through the racks of clothes in the winder aisle. Her energy was beginning to rub off on her. She wanted to try on all these things to! It made her ache. She wished Daisuke was here with her. They could pick out clothes together and she missed his funny faces when he thought something didn't look quite right. He was her best friend. She shook her head to bring herself back to the current situation and let the excitement fill her again.

Vixy hurried to the section that sported clothes for quadrupeds and sifted through them with her snout. Finally she found a nice blue one that she thought might fit her well. She tugged at it with her teeth until it came off the rack and she went jogging to where Bloom was. "Boom!" she called with the article of clothing still in her mouth.

"He'p meh puf on?" she asked and sat down on her rump. She finally dropped the coat and licked her lips. "You picked some really cute outfits! You are so lucky you can use your paws. Getting dressed must be so easy for you."

Sardotha

Searching through the store I found multiple items. Leather coats, graphic tees, a multitude of hats and more but the clothing either didn't fit me or felt discomforting and left the clothes a lumpy, soggy, mucus coated mess. I sighed at the difficulty of my predicament, trying to fit on a hat but then soon noticed a section specifically made for the Frokie evolutionary line. I calmly walked over to the small shelves and spotted a lot of different looking forms of fashion due to my body-type.

I began with the section of bottoms, a certain pair of pants intriguing me so I took that one and slipped it on. It was a little tight at first, but as my body soaked into the fabric it started to feel like my own skin. It took me by surprise but I eventually got use to the feeling. The knee guards on my body then shifted upwards on my thighs and were replaced by metal edges on the ends of the pants. I paused for a few moments before grabbing the matching gloves that went along with the pants. My skin soaked in the fabric just as it did before and my webbed hands were unaffected in anyway. However, near the ends of my wrists, the gloves wrist strap extended out to a point and made another bubble on my forearm like my knee guards once were. I then grasped onto a package labeled 'bubble anklets' and I ripped them out of the package.

I strapped them on as well, the effect not showing up immediately. But afterwards, a white foam started forming around my heels and then extruded behind me, creating a cloudy effect on my ankles. The clouds moved along with my stride as well, shifting around as I paced up and down the aisle. I stopped with the strutting and tried to find one thing that would tie the outfit all together. In due course, I spotted a variety of cans labeled 'tongue paint'. This article of clothing confused me. Use paint as a form of clothing? I read on the back description of the product and it said, "Adjusts temperature of tongue based on the climate around wearer." I furrowed my brow, but eventually opened the can of white tongue paint. I glared at the blank liquid, glanced at my tongue and then back at the paint. I took grasp of my tongue, hesitant at first but I shoved my scarf into the paint. My body shivered at the horrific taste as I had to stand there for a few seconds.

I swirled around the paint a little and then pulled out my scarf. The paint dripped from my tongue for a few short moments but my tongue had stopped receiving the terrible taste and the paint had done its work. I swung my scarf a little and then nodded at the new me, taking in every moment. I got back to the front of the store and leaned up against the wall, waiting for the arrival of all the rest of my party. I'm sure they've got their tastes, but... if one of them comes back with nothing but pink, I was sure going to regret it for the rest of my life.

I heard the shifting of clothing that Bloom went through and her excited giggling. I rolled my eyes at the excited remarks and I looked out of the glass window into the moonlight and went about my thoughts. There was definitely something wrong with the zubat I let go earlier. I don't know, but I felt like if I had captured it, that decision would have bitten me back somehow. There was only one question though. Who says that it won't be coming back with more pokemon. I furrowed my brow uneasily and hummed out softly. I walked over to the commotion in the winter section and leaned up against one of the shelves walls, looking to see what everyone had picked out.

Bloom

ImageThe happy Lopunny was half way through trying on a large red bow around her neck when Vixy approached her excitedly and passed over the coat, at first Bloom fixated on Vixy's excitement, and giggled meerily at the happy Ninetails that sat infront of her, but as she then looked down to the coat infront of her Bloom shreiked, "Oh no!" Bloom's eyes widened as she read the tag, "Only 20% cotton?! And it's not fireproof! This colour doesn't even compliment you!" Bloom threw down the coat as if it were garbage to be disposed of and wondered ambitiously to the isle where Vixy had emerged from, "Now, we need to find you something that matches the blue on your tails, now THAT would be wonderful" Bloom searched through the racks of coat-like things, checking the tags first before then holding out to sample the colour match.

After long prevail, Bloom finally found a colour that matched, "There!" Bloom cried triumphantly, wasting no time to bend and loop the coat over Vixy's neck, fastening the buckle at her neck and then reaching to fasten another buckle on the underside of her stomach. Bloom stood and smiled proudly, "Well? Go look in a mirror, do you like it? It's fireproof and waterproof, I checked." Bloom chimed before hopping off, wanting to find the others so she could dress them too.

As the group came upon a clothing department, Bloom just about exploded with excitement over all of the clothes and accessories. Hama quietly made her way around the store, looking for anything she might be able to wear. She disliked coats and hats crushed her ears, so as she was looking around, she noticed green quadruped booties and a brown scarf. She pulled them from their hangers and slipped the booties on using her teeth. She swung the scarf around her neck and looked around for Bloom. When she finally saw her, she had just finished helping Vixy. "Bloom! Can you help me tie my scarf?" Hama called out, galloping after Bloom, the scarf almost falling from around her neck.

Once Bloom had helped her, Hama skipped about the store, looking at all of the wonderful things it had. Hama preferred to keep things simple when it came to clothing, as she didn't particularly enjoy wearing it, and she liked more neutral colours, as they were similar to her own fur's colours. She saw Sardotha standing near the Winter Section as well, seemingly annoyed that he'd gotten stuck with a bunch of girls. "You don't look like you're having much fun,' Hama said, sitting next to him, wiggling one of her booties to fix its position.

She stayed next to Sardotha, keeping him some company until the rest of the group had their clothes and things. "I'm not one for clothes or accessories," Hama admitted to Sardotha. "Seems mostly like a waste of time and money to me." She let out a small sigh, still waiting for the group, hoping they would hurry things along. Girls will be girls, I guess.... Hama thought to herself, even though she wasn't following in the girls' steps by getting excited over clothes.

Sardotha

I took a double take and I looked down towards the leafeon and paused for a few moments. I crossed my arms and stated with my smooth voice, "I just want to get moving. The longer we stay here the more of a chance that we aren't on our mission."While I was standing there, I felt on my cheeks a slightly warming sensation as the paint began to work its magic in the cool interior of the abandoned store. I listened to Hama's statement and chuckled slightly. "At least you don't have paint on your tongue." I explained flicking my now half coated scarf in front of my face. The tongue went back down and I sighed, "But I'm kind of grateful for the clothes. Cold temperatures don't mix well with pokemon that are 70% water."

My anklets flowed behind me as I trailed on around the store, looking for evidence that could lead us to our owners. I hopped over the cashier's counter and looked at the shelves behind it. In one of the personal drawers of whoever used this, there was a bill from the same location as my owner: The Sevii Islands. I slipped it under my tongue with the other bill and continued to search. Suddenly, something caught my eye and I picked up these odd machines. They had different exterior designs and a screen that displayed, "Press TM switch." There was also a small blinking green that resided under each screen. I stared for a couple seconds before saying, "Technical Machines... What a grab."

There were 5 machines; just enough for the party. I leaped back over the counter. I pressed one of the switches with my finger and a thin needle sprung out through the top. I squinted my eyes and though I knew how to use the machine, but I doubted that the party was going to like the injection. I took it upon myself to assign everyone a specific TM. Bloom received No. 24, Hama got No. 53, I gave Flame No. 43, Vixy received No. 61 and I got machine No. 55. I found a wall to lean up against and quickly pressed the needle into my right outer thigh. I clinched my eyes closed and then blinked a few moments, my eyes reflecting off a green hue. I breathed out and jerked out the needle, my eyes still stirring with green. I stared at the screen and I said, "Extreme Speed." I got to my feet and suggested, "Hama, I'll help you with yours... if I may?" I held out my hand for permission.

I took the machine and plunged it into the front right thigh of Hama. She winced and whined a little but she soon got over the pain and her eyes reflected off a green hue as well. I thought that must be normal for the machines. I slid out the needle and the screen stated the words "Energy Ball". I tilted my head and thought about how effective this move could be. I glanced at Hama again. "You got Energy Ball, Hama" I finally said, placing the, now used, machine to the side. I watched over to the rest of the group to see their reaction.

Bloom

ImageBloom obliged happily to Hama and tied the scarf neatly, admiring her work before Hama then scambered off and sat by Sardotha. Bloom started rummaging until she found a red cape-cardigan which draped over her shoulders and cut off half way down her upper arms which she wrapped merrily around her neck and a pair of gloves and booties to match. Once clothed and happy with her appearance, Bloom walked over to Hama and Sardotha and twirled happily to show off her outfit, and then lifted her brow when she saw Sardotha fiddling with something,

"Are those TMs? I saw Megan use something like that before.." Bloom gulped slightly at the looks of the needle, wondering how much it would hurt, "Is there one for all of us?.." Bloom wondered closer and saw Sardotha inject on into Hama, watching her whine slightly, which made Bloom even more nervous. Eventually though, Bloom figured if she did it quick enough, it wouldn't hurt bad, and so picked up the one she assumed was for her and repeated the process she saw Sardotha doing - stabbing the needle into her thigh, leaving it there for a moment before retracting it with a slight wince of pain.

Hama winced a tad as Sardotha stuck the TM in her leg. "You got Energy Ball, Hama," he said. Hama cocked her head a bit, unsure of exactly what her new move would do. "Thanks, Sardotha!" Hama said, smiling. Hama watched as Bloom used her own TM on herself, seeing her eyes flash green quickly from the machine. She winced a tad once she removed the TM from her. "What Technical Machine did you get, Bloom?" Hama inquired, curious, honestly, as to what everyone would get.

She sat down beside Sardotha, watching the rest of the group. She looked at Bloom's outfit and smiled. "I like your outfit, Bloom. The colours suit you!" she said shyly, unsure if the colours really did suit her or not. Hama had never been good at knowing that type of thing. She took a deep breath and sighed.

"What about that Zubat, Sardotha? What do you think that could have been??" Hama asked, slightly worried of what the Zubat could have meant.

Seeing that Bloom had pierced the TM into her, her eyes reflecting off a green hue, I walked over and stared at her TM. I tilted my head to the side and rested my hands on my knees as I squatted a bit closer to the ground. "Bloom, you got Thunderbolt." I stated, gazing up at her eyes that were now were returning to their pink color. That was strange, more than anything else, but I'm sure that the TM's don't lie. Either way, that move might become useful to us in the future. I leaned over to the side and stated subtly, "I'm sure we'll need any surprises in our favor."

I listened to Hama and her frantic questioning and sighed, closing my eyes to think over a few things. I opened my eyes and looked to her, saying, "It's alright to have a bit of concern, but don't lose your sanity over it." I rubbed my chin and continued, "That marking on the Zubat's back though... I think that symbol means danger somehow. We can't be too comfortable; I'm sure that we'll see that symbol again. I viewed around the store and saw that everyone had gotten their items and there was nothing useful left for us to take. I got to the front door and stared out of the glass at the moon's glare. "We need to find a place to sleep... the forest seems good enough, but I need to sleep close to a water source.", I stated, turning to the rest of the group, "I caught a glimpse of a cove on the edge of the island as we sailed in... I'm sure that could work." I gazed back over to the waves and the white sand of the beach.
