Bloom

ImageBloom blinked softly as Sardoth shot down all of their suggestions, and then began tapping her chin softly as she thought outloud, "Well..I guess that's true..atleast let me carry that" Bloom said, attempting to take the backpack from Sardotha and carefully slid it onto her own shoulder. If he didn't protest, she would continue on, nodding and then following him outside of the Pokécenter. Bloom was greatful that the rain had stopped, meaning she wouldn't have to go through the process of grooming her fur again - since it was already now in perfect condition - but at the same time, the lack of rain meant she could now clearly see the ranch in the distance, perched merrily atop the hill that just hung over Celestia town.

Bloom remained silent as they all headed onto the boat, still keeping her eye over on the ranch, her heart pounding softly with the realisation of the journey she way about to takeand how she may never see her family again. Gulping away the thoughts, Bloom turned her attention to Sardotha as he played with the buttons and knobs and peeked into the doorway, watching him. Then as he told them all to find a seat, Bloom eeped and bcked herself into one of the seats around the edge of the deck. Bloom eeped again as the boat boosted into motion, pushing her back into the seat, making her cling to the strap of the backpack as she then turned her head away from the ocean spray, "V-vixy" she managed to say over the sound of the boat's engine, "Stay away from the edge so you don't get wet" she said, her ears flapping wildly in the wind. "So much for grooming" she sighed to herself as she tried to lift her head to get a view of the ocean around the now quickly moving boat.

Hama quickly bounded out of the Pokémon Center, following the group to the boat. She climbed aboard, and Sardotha warned them to take a seat or they may fall out. As the others took their seats, Hama was making her way over to sit beside Bloom when the boat lurched forward, sending her to the floor. She got up and shook herself out, but just as she found her footing, the boat stopped suddenly, sending her face first into the floor this time. She wriggled her nose to alleviate a bit of the pain from landing on it and decided to just lay upon the floor instead of getting up again. The boat pitched forward once more, but Sardotha finally figured out how to make the ride smooth. Hama crawled on her tummy and climbed up onto the seat next to Bloom.

Hama sat quietly and stared out at the vast ocean. "V-Vixy, stay away from the edge so you don't get wet," Bloom managed to say, and Hama noticed that her ears were fluttering uncontrollably in the wind. "So much for grooming," Bloom sighed, and Hama chuckled softly to herself.

Riot ambled along down a path near Lilycove City, Swindler at his side, picking up rocks and sticks from the ground. Riot rolled his eyes at the simple-minded Pokémon. Riot had woken up with his trainer, Scout, nowhere in sight, so he was forced to drag around her Zigzagoon, who had a tendency to steal anything and everything from anyone and everyone. As they continued down the path, it began to rain, which Riot was unhappy about, as he was a Fire-Type Pokémon.

Riot picked up Swindler, holding the small Pokémon above his head to shield himself from the rain a bit. The Zigzagoon couldn't have cared less about the rain, as it happened to love it. A little ways ahead of them, Riot could make out the silhouettes of two Pokémon. One seemed to be a quadruped of some sort, while the other one seemed to be on two legs. Then, the two-legged Pokémon flew up in what Riot assumed was a nearby tree. Riot walked briskly toward the two Pokémon, still holding Swindler above his head as a makeshift Pokémon umbrella.

When he finally reached the two Pokémon, he recognized the quadruped to be a Mightyena, and as he looked up into the tree, he saw a Murkrow that seemed to be in some sort of suit. "Hey," Riot said coolly. "My trainer has gone missing, and I'm looking for answers. Have your trainers gone missing too?" he inquired, realizing he was still holding the small Zigzagoon above his head. He set Swindler down, pushing him toward a rock that he figured the little Pokémon would start playing with fairly quickly. "I'm Riot, and that's Swindler," he said, pointing first to himself and then to the Zigzagoon that had, as he'd predicted, begun playing with the rock.

As I was in the middle of the conversation of Black-Fang's, along came a hot-head Blaziken and a scruffy lookin' Zigzagoon. I was honestly impatient with all the disturbances going on with the rain and my group and everythin'. I stood there, my smile still but less as bright as before. "My trainer has gone missing, and I'm looking for answers. Have your trainers gone missing too?" Were the words that came out of this birds mouth. I completely lost my smile and it went to a small scowl. These people were lookin' for answers that I didn't have and made it even more difficult for me to work in life.

I flew down to the ground, sayin', "Listen here, winged-brother, you might want to skedaddle outta here. You be mettlin' in business that you don't want to be a part of." At this point, the taller stance of the man was much more than mine, but a this time I didn't care. Suddenly, in the middle of the rain, a bright red-eyed Umbreon came from the bushes and shouted, "Boss, boss." She noticed the three pokemon she was also getting the attention of. I broke the silence and muttered, "What? What is it? Can't you see I'm givin' directions." I looked at the Umbreon and she said, "Well, boss, there's this group headed for Hoenn-" I cut her off groanin', "Give me somethin' I can use, Starla!" She stuttered nervously, "W-well... They went off lookin' for the humans boss and well... They got our stash of food in Unova." My eyes didn't widen at her in anger, but I was rather calm.

"Oh... is that all?" I asked, walkin' close to her staring her down. She looked down at the ground, tryin' not to make I contact with me. I gently brushed her chin up with my wing, raising my brow for an answer. "Y-Yes...?" She stuttered. I grasped her neck with my right talon and whispered loudly to her as she choked. "No. That's not all. You lost our lost stock in Unova! Now why don't you head on home... I deal wit' ya later." She gasped for air as I threw her to the ground, banging her head against the dirt. She wimpered and sprinted off back to the woods, frantically yelpin'. I gazed back at the Blaziken and stated normally, "Now, you can go on ahead back from where you came from... heck, you can even go with that group who stole my supplies. But, whatever ya do, don't bother us again. We don't got the answers you're lookin' for." I turned back to the road and continued walkin' with Black-Fang.

"Hey, wait!" Riot called after the Murkrow and the Mightyena. "How do you know it's business I don't want to be a part of? I'm not going to sit around and wait for a band of Pokémon," he said, standing his ground against the tiny bird-Pokémon. Riot was about six times the size of the Murkrow and wasn't even remotely afraid of it, as he was a strong, fighting Pokémon. "Looking for my trainer is one thing, but I don't think I'm going to find her any time soon. By the looks of it, I'm guessing you don't have a trainer, do you, 'boss?'" he said somewhat mockingly. He didn't appreciate the way the Murkrow was trying to just send him on his way, practically brushing Riot off of his wing like dirt.

Swindler was still off to the side of the road, playing with a rock, and Riot was getting more annoyed. "I'm a fighter. Swindler is a thief. Even though he doesn't seem that smart, he's quick and silent when snatching things from anyone, even Pokémon," he said, picking up the Zigzagoon. Swindler cooed and Riot rolled his eyes, but he realized that the Pokémon's coo was muffled a bit. He turned the Pokémon around, pulling a now wet cigar out of the little Pokémon's mouth. "See?" he said, holding up the cigar to show the bird. "He's fast, and he's quiet. I'm strong, and I don't give up. I've beaten each Elite Four alone; I'm a champion in every Region. I could be a valuable asset to you, and so could Swindler, despite his simple-minded habits."

Riot stared down the bird-Pokémon, not about to give up against such a tiny thing. He was about the same size as Swindler, so Riot didn't feel threatened by the Murkrow. "You may strike fear into others, but not me. I'm not afraid of other Pokémon, and I'm not afraid of humans either. Whatever you're 'business' is, count me in."

Flame twitches her ears as she watched the group she's been following for a while now. "Uh...Maybe if I have the guts to ask for help they could help me find Cadence!" She said happily as her scarf blew in the wind she leaped from the tree and hid behind it watching them. "Wonder what they're doing..." she said slowly to herself once more. "H-Hello..?" she said faintly.

I turned around, quite annoyed at the persistent Fire-type and I squinted my eyes at him as he talked about my trainer mockingly. "Listen... You don't know nothin' about my human... or at least what he used to be." I muttered staring at him flying forward again. I was facing him fully, as he continued on with his ranting. Riot and Swindler have great skills don't get me wrong. The way that the Zigzaroon took one of my cigars without me noticing was sure as enough shocking. And to beat the Elite Four alone... That took a lot of strength. Strength that my team needed, unlike that Umbreon.

I glared at the Blaziken seriously and put a cigar in my mouth. I lit it, took in a puff of smoke and breathed the cloud onto him, sayin', "You got a lot of nerve." I chuckled as I turned around and kept smokin'. "I like it." I stated simply, flickin' the ashes off the cigar. "Come on wit' us." I said, motioning my hand for Black-Fang to come along too. The Mightyena cocked his head up and eventually followed. I flew up into the air and we kept our pace until we had reached the distant ruins. There was a bit of fog, but nothin' to worry about. We could still see at the bottom. I got towards the entrance, knockin' on the stone door and a slot slid open, dark eyes starin' at the unknown members behind me. "What's the pass-" The gruff voice muttered behind the door but I shouted, "Oh shut it, Clarence! It's your boss; open up! I got recruits." The stone door slid open and it revealed a Gengar wearing black shades. "Sorry, boss. Just being secure like you asked me too." The Gengar stated softly.

We entered the stone ruins revealing a wide canopy of a faded red ceiling, the columns of the area lined with red velvet banners with spade symbols on them. In the center of the dim room, scattered with candles, there was a Weavile sharpening his claws with an emery board, an Ekans wrapped around a table with one scratched out eye and an Absol sifting through a map. The temperature was rather cold and the slow leaking from the rain coming from the roof didn't make it any better. They all caught there eyes on me and greeted me. "Hey, boss... who'd you bring with you?" The Weavile asked, tilting his head. The ekans rattled his tail in caution and the Absol looked at them as well. "Settle down guys. These are the new members of our family." I explained, holding my cigar in my beak. "Riot, Black-Fang. The Ekans is Eddie. The Weavile is Scratch and the Absol is Silver." I greeted, pointing to the corresponding pokemon. Scratch waved once and everyone else got back to their business. "Oh, and this is Pete!" I stated, almost forgetting about our doorman. Pete went into one of the rooms and brought out an Umbreon, the one that met us in the forest earlier. She was restrained, her feet tied to each other and her mouth wrapped around with a bandana.

"I found Monica blazing in through her and had her restrained" Pete explained, holding her up, "What do you want me do with her, boss?" I stared at her with my full red eyes and I said, "Put her in the center of the den. I need to make an example." Pete waltzed over to the den and dropped Monica on the ground, frowning a little. I stared down at her as she struggled in her bondage. "Tsk, tsk, Monica, tsk tsk." I chuckled, walking around her. She struggled to get the bandages off her mouth, but she finally did. "What do ya want, Jak? I did all that I could!" She shouted, flailing around and stared to get angry. I paused for a few short moment and stated, "You've been at this for too long, doll... With far too little success." I took in a bit of my cigar in the pausing moment. "I don't need a ball and chain in this operation, Monica. I don't need you anymore." I said, flying upward and I prepared my talon. "Weavile, throw me gun." I commanded, looking up at him. He didn't hesitate, tossing me the silver barreled glock and I caught it. "Wait.... You're gonna shoot me?!" She cried, her eyes widening as she flailed about even more. "No, I'm not gonna shoot you." I explained, turning around and handing the weapon to Blaziken, "He is."

I looked at Riot and muttered, "Now, if you're gonna prove somethin' to me... Take her life." The Umbreon whined and shouted on the floor, "No! No!!! Please don't do what he says!!" She was in shock, her heart racing at the current situation. "You got what ya came for. If you don't shoot, then we gotta chase ya down anyways, now shoot!" I shouted to him, waiting for his response and staring at Monica. "No!" She cried, her eyes flooding with tears. "Do it!!" I commanded, raising my voice in response to the screaming. At this point, the group was staring at me and Riot, waiting to see what was to become of this.

Riot was tossed a gun by Jak, which shocked Riot at first, but he'd pretty much figured out what he was getting into when he'd told the Murkrow he wanted to join up with him. With little hesitation, blocking the Umbreon's pleas from his thoughts, he pulled the trigger, staring at Jak still, knowing his shot hadn't missed, as the pleas ceased immediately after he'd shot. He handed the gun back to Jak and turned to take a seat near the Weavile, but still managed to keep about 10 feet between them. He motioned Swindler to come to him, which the little Pokémon did without hesitation. "Got any sticks, Swindler?" he asked the small Zigazagoon. The Pokémon pulled out a load of sticks from its fur, which Riot was baffled by. "How the hell do you do it, Swindler.." he said, amazed by what the Pokémon could manage to keep on him without anyone noticing.

He piled up the sticks and stood, realizing that even though Swindler had a good amount of sticks, he'd need more and bigger ones. He went outside, telling Pete to keep the door open until he returned since he wouldn't be long. He grabbed a few branches that'd managed to stay dry under the canopy of the few trees above them. He brought them back inside and piled them on top of the small pile of sticks that he'd gotten from Swindler. "Don't touch these sticks, Swindler, or I'll have your hide." At the statement, the Zigzagoon retreated into his fur, hiding from Riot.

Riot went back outside and gathered a load of rocks, and once he was back inside, Pete closed the door behind him. "Thanks, Pete," he said, nodding his regards to the Gengar. Riot set the rocks up around the pile of sticks, making a sort of makeshift fire pit. Riot used Flame Charge, but instead of cloaking his whole body in fire, he managed to cloak only his hand in the flames. He held his fire-covered hand in the pile of small sticks beneath the larger ones, using them as kindling. Fairly quickly, the fire got itself going. "Seemed a bit cold in here," he said, looking at Jak.

Bloom

ImageInstinctively, Bloom put her arm over Hama and pulled her close, attempting to keep her safe from the raging wind and sea spray though Bloom's thoughts still rested on Vixy, she wondered how such a 'large' pokémon could escape the water. But Bloom's concern was interupted as a new member climbed aboard, "H-Hello!" the small Vulpix spoke. "Oh my!" Bloom yelped in surprise, "How did you? Poor dear! Are you wet?" Bloom rushed over to the small Vulpix that dawned the scarf in its mouth and attempted to protect it from the water.

As the boat bumped and jolted over the water, Bloom sat herself on the deck of the boat and tried to keep the Vulpix away from the water's harm by leaning herself over it. Then suddenly Bloom remembered Hama's un-easyness with the boats movement and turned to face her again, stretching out her hand to offer to Hama to allow her into the 'bubble' of warmth and protection Bloom created by wrapping her ears around the Vulpix.

"T-Thank you!" Flame said surprise from the Blooms Generosity. "I'm Flame and no I didn't get wet really I used my scarf to get over here to you guys!" Flame felt safer around the Pokemon and smiled.
"I'm came here in hope you can help me I'm looking for my trainer Cadence I have a picture of her!" Flame got a picture from out of her scarf that had a tiny pocket that could hold only so little. She places the picture down gentle on the ground it showed her trainer holding Flame and her Pokeball. "That's her the sweetest girl you could ever meet!" Flame said pointing to the Trainer.

Sardotha

I heard the commotion going on near the back of the boat and I glanced over my shoulder, seeing that a stowaway had gotten onto the ship. I tilted my head and then rolled my eyes towards the ocean as the Vulpix showed everyone the picture and I got back to staring at the blue water. The splashing of the ocean spray calmed me finally and I glared at the horizon, the sun reflecting off the surface of the sea. I reminded myself that we needed not to get distracted from the current mission. It would be rude to just turn around and drop off the poor child in her time of need. It warmed my heart though: thinking about such a small pokemon having such a big heart for her trainer. I hid the happiness behind my blank stare out onto the ocean.

~~~~~~~~~~~Timeskip (Ten hours later)~~~~~~~~~~
The late night drew on and I luckily kept my eyes open, the bags under my eyes not affecting my performance of driving. The moonlightImage reflected off the ocean in a different way, making my skin more of a dark black than a light blue. I viewed the horizon as I saw small sparkles of light leading to the region of Hoenn. Finally, we had almost reached our destination. Yet, the machine I was driving was acting up. We were about a feet from the shore when the boat started to loose acceleration. I stared at the control panel and noticed that there was a needle that was pointing to the letter 'E' and blinking at a medium pace. At this point, the boat had completely stopped, so close to the large body of land, yet so far. I noticed that there was quite a long rope on the far deck of the ship.
I cut the engine, sprinting over to the rope and quickly tied it around the point where railings met at the tip of the machine. I then got on top of the railing and looked at the dozing pokemon. I shouted to them, "Hey! I'm going overboard." I held the other end of the rope and saluted with the other hand as I dipped into the water, making a calm splash. I rushed through the water, the bubbles of my breath streaming passed me as I swam. Thankfully, I had reached the shore before the line had gotten some resistance from the boat's weight. I scanned around and eventually found a post to tie the other end of the rope onto. I pulled on the rope slowly, knowing that if I tried to use all of the energy I had at once, I would give out easily. Either way, the boat was nonetheless heavy. I strained against the resistance and got the hunk of metal moving. After a few minutes of pulling, I had gotten it to shore and let out a final grunt.
Everyone had gotten out of the boat and I sighed, still trying to catch my breath from the pulling.
The gunfire was shot and Silver had jumped slightly, most likely thinking that Riot wouldn't really do it. Eddie slithered up onto the table beside me and hissed in appreciation, almost like it was applause for the commitment of Riot's actions. Scratch kept filing away at his nails, making them sharp and then testing them on the mirror he was beside. "Well done, Riot." I said, still flying and I flapped my way up to the stone beams connected to the columns.
As the Blaziken and his small friend built the fire, I stated, "Thanks for makin' the fire." I dove down towards the flames and landed next to the inferno, drying my wings. Scratched sneered and continuing to examine his claws. "So, what are we gonna do about that other group, boss?" Pete asked, walkin' up to me. I turned to him and then smiled slyly. "Well, they're goin' after the same thing we're goin' after: the humans. They are heading to Hoenn... so, why don't we pay them a visit?" I suggested, lookin' at everyone. Scratch stated with his scratchy voice, "Sure thing... just one question. Who says they're gonna be there once we're there?" "And if they are there... who ssayss they are a threat, bossss?" Eddie questioned, snaking around the room and staring at me.
I scratched the tip of my beak with my wing and then got an idea. I set off a few high-pitched tweets and a zubat come from the shadows near the top of the ceiling. "Yes boss?" His whiny and whispery voice came from his lips. I said simply, "Go to Hoenn and look for this group of pokemon that are travelin' together. Figure out what they're up to and report back to me." "Yes boss." He hissed back, flying swiftly at one of the open cracks in the ruins.
Flame looked up at the ocean and smiled at a old memory.
~Memory~
"Flame were going everywhere that's possible!" Cadence said picking up the vulplix and placing her on her shoulders "It will be amazing seeing new sites and places unlocked in the shadows and secrets!" "Vulplix!" The small Pokemon cheered
"We will see the world and probably get cute outfits along the way!" Cadence said
Flame started to smile and played with her trainer the rest of the day above the ocean.
~End of memory~
"I promise I'll find you Cadence.." Flame said as the wind blowed on her she then noticed the new Pokemon aboard and smiled. "The more people the more to ask about Cadence!" she said to herself and yawned. "But first I need some sleep~" Flame curled up in a ball and sighed heavily. "Goodnight Cadence" Flame said as she went to sleep.
Hama looked at Sardotha quietly as he hopped off the side of the boat. She watched him pull the boat to shore, wishing she could have helped him in some way as it looked like it'd been a lot of work. When everyone was finally off the boat, Hama nuzzled Sardotha's arm with her little nose. "Thank you for driving us here." She paused. "I guess I should let you know that Hoenn is my home Region, and I live in Fortree City." She looked to the others, thinking of what to say next.
She decided that words weren't needed right then, so she began walking down the path. Soon enough though, she could see the city before them. "I think we're at Lilycove City!" she exclaimed. "Route 121 is West from here, then we'd hit a corner and turn right onto Route 120, and at the end of that road, once we turn left, we'd be in Fortree City!" She turned around and looked to the others. "I'm not sure where you all wish to go." She heard a soft rustling in a tree near them, and she was pretty sure that she saw a Zubat flying away from them. Strange.... she thought to herself.
Vixy hoped up on the boat once more and put down the pack she had been carrying as well. She didn't want the bag to get wet so she made sure she placed it beside Sardotha and under the control panel in a safe little nook. There. Now the ocean spray wouldn't get to it. At the pokemon's mention of sitting down and holding onto something, she quickly took a seat as far away from the rails as she could. When the boat picked up speed, she found herself digging her claws into the seat and curling her tails around herself. She loved speed and it was exhilarating to be flying over the water this way, but she was afraid that going this fast would somehow make the boat flip. That would be a disaster. She did not want to land in the water and be stranded for any length of time.
She heard a commotion and looked up and over at Bloom and Hama. Her bright red eyes widened when she saw the little Vulpix on the deck. Oh! The poor thing! She was probably so scared and alone. And the ocean spray wouldn't be very comforting for the little thing. She jumped off of her seat and hurried over to the other pokemon and gave the Vulpix a little smile, feeling an instant connection since they were practically related. She had another fire pokemon with her to!
"It is okay, sweetie. We'll help you find your trainer. We are looking for our trainers to," she explained before she lay down beside the others and wrapped her long fluffy tails around all of them. Feeling the breeze and the light touch of the water spray didn't seem to bother her too much now that she was helping to protect someone else.
Vixy blinked and raised her head in a little bit of confusion when the boat came to a stop. She looked out and saw that they had made it to land finally. She gave a bright smile and slowly uncurled her warmth from around the other pokemon and gave a great big stretch, claws lightly scratching the deck beneath her. She shook of and groomed down her chest just a moment. "Wake up, sleepy heads! We have made it!" she sang. She looked down at the little Vulpix and nuzzled her to. She leaned down and took a mouthful of the young foxs' scruff in her mouth to lift her up off the floor. With the Vulpix's short legs, she knew the little thing would be hard pressed to try and keep up with everyone else's long strides. She ran to the edge of the boat and jumped. She soared through the air briefly before landing gracefully on the deck beside Hama and Sardotha. She put Flame down gently then.
"Sardotha, thank you for driving the boat," she said, repeating Hama's words. "I can't believe we finally made it. One step closer to the Sevii Islands..." Then she paused. She forgot the backpack on the boat! She scrambled back on board and managed to get the pack onto her back before she hurried down again.
Vixy smiled at Hama. "This is your home? You came a long way to Castelia and back. A well traveled pokemon," she said a bit lighthearted at their situation. "Now that we are here, where do we go?" she asked. She hadn't traveled much at all and she didn't know the direction of the Sevii Islands. Was there something else they had to go first?
Sardotha
I nodded my head at the thanks, knowing that I definitely deserved it. After taking a breather, I sat myself up on a small post that was stuck in the sea and stared at my surroundings. This was a different landscape; more oceanic than I'm used to. Of course, I couldn't get enough of the water. I knew that it would be easy for me to get off and on this island, but everyone else was other than a water-type. I stood myself up and suggested, "I think we should head for a clothing depart-" Suddenly, I flicked my head at the direction of the rustling going on in the bushes. Up, emerged a zubat that was spying on us most likely. I took my time with my hands as I formed the four-pointed shuriken. As I waited, the bat's back revealed something in moonlight: a spade symbol? It seemed pretty suspicious to me, but I wasn't going to kill the zubat because of it.
I stopped with the anxiousness and dropped the water, thinking, "I shouldn't hurt him." I got right back to the situation and continued on, saying, "We should to a clothing department and get prepared for the weather ahead. The Sevii Islands are known for their cool beaches in the summer and snow in the winter, so we need to cover up for that."Image I kept on going through thoughts in my mind and then stated, "Afterwards, we can go get more food, water... and then, I guess we can head over to Fortree. As long as we're getting farther in this journey." I gathered everyone and headed into town. The city was at a slightly smaller scale than the city before us. There were long streets stretching to various markets and other shops such as that. As I kept looking, I spotted my eyes on this one shop for clothing. A more permanent establishment.
I went straight through the doors, as yet again the power was still working and they slid open for us. There wasn't much touched and most of the small energy bars at the cashier desk were obviously snatched. I viewed around at the clothing department and continued into the deeper regions of the store.
Bloom
ImageBloom was almost asleep, happily snuggled into the warmth of Vixy's tails, and hadn't noticed Sardotha moving until he called to tell them he was going overboard and she jolted with the movement of the boat. Standing then to look over the railing, Bloom held tightly on as the Greninja began to pull at the rope, "Hey! Don't over-work yourself" she called to him, her tone struck with concern. Pulling a boat to shore didn't look easy, especially with other pokémon on board.
Once on land, Bloom hurried off the boat, ushering the smaller Pokémon off before her so she could make sure they were safe before she walked down to Sardotha and stepped close, he didn't seem one for socialising, so for a moment Bloom just stood and shuffled her feet nervously, until she decided upon something to say but was then stopped by Sardotha's words before she could even open her mouth. Bloom's ears flickered as she heard the same rustling of the bush, and turned her head to se the Zubat appear, then turned back to see Sardotha forming what seemed like a four-pointed weapon made out of water.
Bloom eeped and rushed back over to the other Pokémon, trying to protect them incase a fight broke out. But fortunately, Sardotha dissolved his weapon-thing and continued on with his words. Nodding then, Bloom stepped away from the others and began to follow Sardotha to the clothing store he had mentioned. Once there, Bloom seemed to forget how tired she was as her face and eyes lit up in a big smile, "Oh my gosh! Look how cute all these accesories are!" Bloom bounded off the the Pokémon winter section and began trying on various hats and scarfs, wondering why Megan had not come here sooner before entering her into contests - with this kind of style, she would have won by a mile and a half!
Vixy hadn't noticed the rustling of leaves at first, but she was well aware of the tension that had suddenly arisen around her by her companions. She looked up to catch a glimpse of the Zubat that had caught everyones attention. She tilted her head to the side, her shiny silver fur bristling. If anything, maybe she could protect the little Vulpix beside her. Fortunately, the Zubat flew away and everyone relaxed. They were safe again. She wondered what was up with this Zubat and the Umbreon from before. Was there some type of connection? Were they being watched? Why? They hadn't done anything extraordinary. She shook off her anger and turned to the little fox beside her then.
"My name is Vixy. And yours?" she asked as she followed her companions towards the clothing store.
Once in the store, her eyes widened. There really were so many cute things! She almost wished she walked on two legs. Most of the really cute clothes were for Pokemon that walked around on two feet. And it must be so easy for them to change clothes! They could use their hands to unbutton things after all. She wagged her tails behind her as she watched Bloom bounce around and sifting through the racks of clothes in the winder aisle. Her energy was beginning to rub off on her. She wanted to try on all these things to! It made her ache. She wished Daisuke was here with her. They could pick out clothes together and she missed his funny faces when he thought something didn't look quite right. He was her best friend. She shook her head to bring herself back to the current situation and let the excitement fill her again.
Vixy hurried to the section that sported clothes for quadrupeds and sifted through them with her snout. Finally she found a nice blue one that she thought might fit her well. She tugged at it with her teeth until it came off the rack and she went jogging to where Bloom was. "Boom!" she called with the article of clothing still in her mouth.
"He'p meh puf on?" she asked and sat down on her rump. She finally dropped the coat and licked her lips. "You picked some really cute outfits! You are so lucky you can use your paws. Getting dressed must be so easy for you."
Sardotha
Searching through the store I found multiple items. Leather coats, graphic tees, a multitude of hats and more but the clothing either didn't fit me or felt discomforting and left the clothes a lumpy, soggy, mucus coated mess. I sighed at the difficulty of my predicament, trying to fit on a hat but then soon noticed a section specifically made for the Frokie evolutionary line. I calmly walked over to the small shelves and spotted a lot of different looking forms of fashion due to my body-type.
I began with the section of bottoms, a certain pair of pants intriguing me so I took that one and slipped it on. It was a little tight at first, but as my body soaked into the fabric it started to feel like my own skin. It took me by surprise but I eventually got use to the feeling. The knee guards on my body then shifted upwards on my thighs and were replaced by metal edges on the ends of the pants. I paused for a few moments before grabbing the matching gloves that went along with the pants. My skin soaked in the fabric just as it did before and my webbed hands were unaffected in anyway. However, near the ends of my wrists, the gloves wrist strap extended out to a point and made another bubble on my forearm like my knee guards once were. I then grasped onto a package labeled 'bubble anklets' and I ripped them out of the package.
I strapped them on as well, the effect not showing up immediately. But afterwards, a white foam started forming around my heels and then extruded behind me, creating a cloudy effect on my ankles. The clouds moved along with my stride as well, shifting around as I paced up and down the aisle. I stopped with the strutting and tried to find one thing that would tie the outfit all together. In due course, I spotted a variety of cans labeled 'tongue paint'. This article of clothing confused me. Use paint as a form of clothing? I read on the back description of the product and it said, "Adjusts temperature of tongue based on the climate around wearer." I furrowed my brow, but eventually opened the can of white tongue paint. I glared at the blank liquid, glanced at my tongue and then back at the paint. I took grasp of my tongue, hesitant at first but I shoved my scarf into the paint. My body shivered at the horrific taste as I had to stand there for a few seconds.
I swirled around the paint a little and then pulled out my scarf. The paint dripped from my tongue for a few short moments but my tongue had stopped receiving the terrible taste and the paint had done its work. I swung my scarf a little and then nodded at the new me, taking in every moment. I got back to the front of the store and leaned up against the wall, waiting for the arrival of all the rest of my party. I'm sure they've got their tastes, but... if one of them comes back with nothing but pink, I was sure going to regret it for the rest of my life.
I heard the shifting of clothing that Bloom went through and her excited giggling. I rolled my eyes at the excited remarks and I looked out of the glass window into the moonlight and went about my thoughts. There was definitely something wrong with the zubat I let go earlier. I don't know, but I felt like if I had captured it, that decision would have bitten me back somehow. There was only one question though. Who says that it won't be coming back with more pokemon. I furrowed my brow uneasily and hummed out softly. I walked over to the commotion in the winter section and leaned up against one of the shelves walls, looking to see what everyone had picked out.
Bloom
ImageThe happy Lopunny was half way through trying on a large red bow around her neck when Vixy approached her excitedly and passed over the coat, at first Bloom fixated on Vixy's excitement, and giggled meerily at the happy Ninetails that sat infront of her, but as she then looked down to the coat infront of her Bloom shreiked, "Oh no!" Bloom's eyes widened as she read the tag, "Only 20% cotton?! And it's not fireproof! This colour doesn't even compliment you!" Bloom threw down the coat as if it were garbage to be disposed of and wondered ambitiously to the isle where Vixy had emerged from, "Now, we need to find you something that matches the blue on your tails, now THAT would be wonderful" Bloom searched through the racks of coat-like things, checking the tags first before then holding out to sample the colour match.
After long prevail, Bloom finally found a colour that matched, "There!" Bloom cried triumphantly, wasting no time to bend and loop the coat over Vixy's neck, fastening the buckle at her neck and then reaching to fasten another buckle on the underside of her stomach. Bloom stood and smiled proudly, "Well? Go look in a mirror, do you like it? It's fireproof and waterproof, I checked." Bloom chimed before hopping off, wanting to find the others so she could dress them too.
As the group came upon a clothing department, Bloom just about exploded with excitement over all of the clothes and accessories. Hama quietly made her way around the store, looking for anything she might be able to wear. She disliked coats and hats crushed her ears, so as she was looking around, she noticed green quadruped booties and a brown scarf. She pulled them from their hangers and slipped the booties on using her teeth. She swung the scarf around her neck and looked around for Bloom. When she finally saw her, she had just finished helping Vixy. "Bloom! Can you help me tie my scarf?" Hama called out, galloping after Bloom, the scarf almost falling from around her neck.
Once Bloom had helped her, Hama skipped about the store, looking at all of the wonderful things it had. Hama preferred to keep things simple when it came to clothing, as she didn't particularly enjoy wearing it, and she liked more neutral colours, as they were similar to her own fur's colours. She saw Sardotha standing near the Winter Section as well, seemingly annoyed that he'd gotten stuck with a bunch of girls. "You don't look like you're having much fun,' Hama said, sitting next to him, wiggling one of her booties to fix its position.
She stayed next to Sardotha, keeping him some company until the rest of the group had their clothes and things. "I'm not one for clothes or accessories," Hama admitted to Sardotha. "Seems mostly like a waste of time and money to me." She let out a small sigh, still waiting for the group, hoping they would hurry things along. Girls will be girls, I guess.... Hama thought to herself, even though she wasn't following in the girls' steps by getting excited over clothes.
Riot looked at Jak as he sent a Zubat off to find the group of Pokémon that Riot assumed was the same group that Jak had attempted to pawn him off on. "C'mere, Swindler," Riot called to the little Pokémon that was still hiding in his own fur. He sat down beside the fire, holding Swindler close to it, moving him around to get the poor Pokémon dry. "Sorry I used you as an umbrella," Riot apologized to the Zigzagoon. "Zig-Zigzag!" Swindler cooed. "Oh, by the way, Jak. Swindler, for whatever reason, can't speak in Pokélanguage. It's probably because he's simple-minded. Even though I never have any idea what he's saying, he's a good listener and does what he's told." Riot looked to Jak.
Riot sighed, setting Swindler down on the ground in front of him, where the Zigzagoon curled up beside the fire and fell asleep due to the warmth. Riot shook his head at the little thief. "He's useful even though he's simple," Riot explained to Jak, hoping that the Murkrow wouldn't be cold-hearted enough to throw Swindler out on his own, or even worse, have the poor little Pokémon killed.
