Deep within the desert sands, there lies a small hut, where large cloaked figures post guard, their gazes never seeming to stray from the desolate landscape. Their glowing eyes narrowed as a group of figures moved closer, their forms distorted by the heat haze. The tallest seemed to carry an unknown grace, their posture that of a confident warrior. But this did not deter the guards, who raised their weapons.

The two other figures stopped chasing one another and flipped their hoods down, showing that they were only small children. With that in mind, the guards moved to the largest of the three, whose mouth could be seen, drawn up in a cat-like smirk.

"Now, why would you attack your own guildmaster?" The female ask, dropping her hood. The guards relaxed instantly, seeing it was Koya, their leader and friend. She rolled her eyes and brushed a bit of her ash white hair back. "That's what I thought. Come on, we need to get inside." The guard on the left opened the door and let the three into the small hut.

Inside the hut was nothing more than a cover for a long ladder that lead downwards. Koya let the kids go down first before hopping down herself, forgoing the ladder. At the bottom, the guild was at its busiest. And everyone seemed to be waiting for her. She maneuvered her way around, kids in tow. She would stop to give new missions, accept finished ones and collect the guild's share of 40% money earnings. The guild wasn't stingy after all. Once she had pushed passed it all and stood at the door of her office she looked down at her two newest charges.

"Alright, one of you go find Astron and the other go and get back to training." Both nodded and took off, each easily running through the others. Shaking her head, she walked into her office and removed her cloak. She hung that over one of the chair and sat on her large throne like chair. Als and Krory came out from the back and nodded at the passing Mawile.

"Welcome home, leader." She bowed slightly, making Koya grin. "I believe we are almost ready to fight the three kingdoms."

"Excellent! But let's wait until Ashy gets here. This pertains to my second in command as well as my third." Koya said as Als took her spot on the left side of Koya, in a small chair, but just as grand.

"Roger that, ma'am."

Astron was far away from the guild miles above it and without a cloak, since it interfered with his current training. He flapped his giant wings creating a small wind in the air. He pulled his orange goggles down over his eyes and took a breath. "Okay Astron, you can do this." he said as his wings folded back and he faced a dummy in the shape of a man. The G-Forces were strong and he was gaining high speeds. "Focus, focus" he told himself as he was about thirty yards from the ground when he pulled his wings back out making him level as he let out a slugish punch onto the dummy, which was now without a head.

Astron looked at the dummy and let out a hearty laugh. "Yes yes yes" he cheered. He walked to a nearby tree and pulled his cloak from a dead tree and put it on just as a child came into view. He lowered his goggles back down as they dangled around his neck.

The child spoke to him. "The Guildmaster needs you." he said and Astron smiled. "Tell Koya I'll be there in a minute." he said as the kid bounced away. Astron put his cloak on and walked slowly to the hut where the guards glared at him. He lowered the hood and slipped by jumping down the hole as was most of the superiors did.

He made his way to Koya office and he pulled his cloak off smiling at the girls in the room and the monster. "Hello, hello." he said taking a seat. "So, how are we gonna do this. The only strategy I can think of is I go to HI since I know it best. Koya you could go to Doku and the rest could go to MIzu." he said smugly. "But were not doing any of that are we?"

Over the most active volcano in the whole territory was the castle where his majesty the King Garuda, sovereign of the Hi Kingdom, the volcano was called Mount Groudon following an ancient legend that told how the Lord of Land himself erected it as a symbol of the power of the kingdom and despite the infernal heat generated by it the castle itself had a very comfortable temperature for any type of pokemon, the mysteries of its construction were lost several generations before, the same with the four gateways that connected the castle with the edges of the volcano, the only way to get walking to the royal palace.

The servants were exalted, the king had disappeared and has been a long ago time since something similar had occurred not since Garuda had formally assumed sovereignty over the kingdom, the commotion didn't reach the king's ears who was many miles away from the castle sitting at a secret location, that was the place where he saw for the first time his now deceased wife and a recurrent place where he headed every time he needed to think, Is the right thing to do dragging his beloved citizens in this war?, Would this would bring the answers he seek? that was perhaps the only thing that tormented him.

The latest reports indicate a fourth force that was involved in the fight, something called Guild Fumei, the rocky ground began to melt when Garuda let out his anger before this new information, a bunch of brats playing at war ignorant of the consequences of their actions, one of the king he hated was seeing youth go to war, considering that he had a daughter that he treasured more than anything in this world but even so, if they threatened in any way to his kingdom he wouldn't show mercy and Garuda would turn them in ashes, he stood and extended his flaming wings rising majestically through the skies heading toward his residence and entered through the main balcony of the throne room.

"Your majesty! We were so worried!" Lug, an old Heatmor former adviser of his father and now his own adviser was expressing concern about the absence of the king in this critical period.
"I had things to do, how is the situation?" asked Garuda
"Yes, the situation remains the same on both fronts, there have been no major changes" Lug replied, his assistants were reporting that the king had returned to the castle.
"I see, what about the brats?"
"Brats?" asked confused the Heatmor
"The Guild I-don't-know-what" his clothes were burnt in parts so it would be best to go changed after hearing the reports.
"There has been no noteworthy movement, we don't know their objectives or if they are allies with other Kingdom, frankly I'm confused" the old man replied honestly.
"That doesn't matter, all you should worry about is if they are a threat or not, on second thought" Garuda paused a moment "I will personally deal with them if they cross the border"
"That is unwise" at gaze full of determination of the king, Lug made no further attempt to persuade him,
"I'll go to my room, don't hesitate to let me know if anything happens", he wanted to see his daughter "Tell Suzaku to come to my room", then walked through the halls of the castle greeting the servants bowed as he passed, he fell asleep at the moment he sat on his bed after entering in his chambers, it has been a couple of days since the last time he slept.

Deep in the dark blue waters at the center of the Mizu kingdom, a deep unease seemed to flow through ocean. The midday sun reflected off of the massive coral palace and the surrounding reef, exploding into dazzling colors and making the pervasive feeling seem very out of place. But the feeling persisted. From the small Basculin children peeking out nervously from their houses to the mother Blastoises and Azumarills shutting windows and closing doors, there was an aura of dread and fear. For the citizens of the water kingdom, the existence of the feeling was not hard to explain. For the first time in decades, Mizu was preparing for all out war.

The mood within the Mizu coral palace was quite different. Attendants flitted every which way, gathering papers and maps and handing them off to the royal guard and palace advisers. An immense table had been set up in the throne room displaying a highly detailed map of Mizu and the surrounding kingdoms of Hi, Kusa, and the deserts of Doku. Figurines representing battalions and strongholds were peppered across the map, often being adjusted by the surrounding Pokemon. At the head of this massive table stood the ruler of Mizu, King Finbar, stroking his beard worriedly and arguing in a loud voice with the guard members and advisers. The discussion was heated and it was clear that everyone in the room had a very strong opinion about one bit of strategy or another. One of the advisers present, a young Remoraid who had just recently attained this position, suddenly raised his voice over the general din.

"I still see no reason for us to risk open war with our neighboring kingdoms! There is far too much at risk to be closing diplomatic channels already!"

At that, Finbar stopped arguing with those next to him and shifted himself to face the Remoraid directly. As his foot fell to the ground the whole floor seemed to shiver at the force, as if he still held an immense power masked by his old age and wrinkled face. The room immediately fell to dead silence.

"Too much at risk..." he began slowly, but his voice quickly rose in volume, "...too much at risk to defend the very waters we call home from absolute devastation?" He motioned to the map. "Did you, perhaps, not see the utter ruin of our north coast as it sits bathed in sludge and toxins? The sands that looked dark as pitch from soaking up the caustic poison coating them? The ruined pieces of the kelp garden just off the coast that perished when the toxic slime slipped into the ocean and destroyed it?!"

Finbar was shouting now. "This was an attack! An attack on all that is good in our kingdom! Are you suggesting we sit and let the rest of our lands pass into toxic waste?!" He slammed the table with his fist, causing many of the figures on the table to topple over.

The Remoraid swallowed hard and spoke out bravely. "But there is no evidence that Hi or Kusa were responsible for this attack. There is no reason for them to start a war after the horror of our past conflicts."

Finbar snorted. "The King and Queen of Hi and Kusa have never shared our firm dedication to peace. Of course, you are right in that we have no evidence. I knew this, and I offered a chance to avoid this conflict. I gave them the command to extradite every last poison types in their two kingdoms to Mizu for questioning. Once we found the perpetrators, we would release all the innocents to return home. But they chose to ignore my command, to let the evil creatures who committed this atrocity run free among the poison types in their cities."

"But you must understand how difficult that would have been," interjected the adviser, " to extradite every poison type in Hi and Kusa? There must be hundreds.."

"And what would you suggest!" Roared Finbar, "no one saw the crime! No one volunteered a confession! Would you have us sit and wait until another beach head is cast into poison for decades! Would you have me patrol the entire border? All the guards in Mizu would be unable to span half of it! The only way was and is to interrogate any and every poison type in this land until the criminals are found."

The Remoraid fell silent, for he had no response to this last argument. Finbar turned to the other guard members and advisers. "We do not seek war," he said, "but if our demands are not met, if Garuda and Virizion will not give me the poison types under their rule, we have no choice if we are to defend the very existence of our kingdom. If they intend to resist us in our just cause of finding the guilty poison types, we will fight them."

The silence lingered a moment longer after Finbar finished speaking. Before long, however, it erupted again into the busy work of preparing for conflict. No one in the room doubted Finbar's logic, though perhaps they should have, but despite this, not one of them could completely swallow the terrible fear that was slowly growing inside them. The fear that only comes with war.

Suzaku

In the training rooms of Hi, people from outside, watched a bolt of flame race towards a well known flame trainer. The villagers princess was training, and it was quiet the sight to see. It reassured those who watched them, that they were in good hands. Strong hands. "Suzaku...why don't we take a break?" Kaze, a blaziken and trainer, asked calmly, eying her flared body [Flare Blitz] in worry. "We've been training for quiet a bit" The female arcanine wiped her forehead, and gave a grin despite her tattered state. "You're just worried that I'll beat you~ You little fried chicken" Kaze mocked a glare as Suzaku pressed on with the teasing, only to stop at the sound of a light cough. "Ahem.." Turning her attention towards the door, she spotted Lug, who she knew so well. Her father's adviser.
"Is there anything you need..?" Kaze asked, and Suzaku nodded in curiosity, worried if anything happened to her father and hoped for good news.
Lug bowed a bit towards the princess, and nodded in respect towards the flaming trainer. "You're father has requested your presence Suzaku." At this, her eyes flared with joy, and she couldn't restrain a smile. Glancing towards Kaze, she stuck out her tongue. "You're lucky. Fried Chicken" And with that, she quickly and swiftly left the room, leaving Lug and Kaze alone. The two males exchanged amused glances, before saying their goodbyes. The heatmor ran out of the room. "Please slow down Princess." Lug panted, trying to catch up to her speed. Though Suzaku didn't heed to the request, she missed her father too much, and wished to see him more then anything.
"I don't think you should see him like that." She stopped subtly, and looked down at herself. Her skin was dusted with ash, and her training clothes were ripped and tattered. Don't even mention the hair. "You think so Lug..?" Suzaku asked, worriedly, wondering what her father would think. Would he really care? The heatmor nodded while catching his breath. "Maybe you're right...Um where is father right now?"
"In his chambers."
Suzaku began to think for a second and nodded. "Well you may leave me now, Ill go to my father's room after I change." Lug nodded, and bowed down in response, before leaving her to be.
Watching his back disappear, she raced towards her room, dodging the servants and maids. 'What to wear, what to wear!' The arcanine panicked, scanning her large dresser. She didnt want to look like a mess in her father's presence, but at the same time, she really didn't like formal clothing.. "I guess this one will do." Picking out an outfit, she slipped it on, and saw that it was a dress. The ends reached her knees, and the material was simple and thin. The color theme was like a fire blazing, and it didn't look too bad. Nodding in satisfaction, she again raced out of the room, and slowed down near her fathers. Dusting off any ash, and soothing down her hair, she exhaled, and began to open the door slowly. "Father..?" She whispered, and entered the room. In that second, she spotted her fathers familar face, asleep on his bed, his face calm and undisturbed. A soft smile graced her lips, as she observed her father in his peaceful state. ITs been awhile since she seen him, and it was the first in awhile to see him asleep. Looking closely, she saw distinguishing signs of stress, and she frowned. "Oh father...you never sleep do you.." She sighed, and sat on the bed. Deciding not to wake him up, she laid down next to him, staring up at the ceiling. 'I guess i'll wait..'
Electra

In the crowded guild, one was seen unmoving. Electra, the jolteon, rested against a long wooden pole which held the guild's roofs up. Her hood casted a shadow over her closed eyes, as she, supposedly, slept. Though with ease, she noticed the noise level increase. Peering up, her bright yellow eyes shot through the shadows of her hood, and began to scan the crowd. There was the source. Her guild master. She has returned. A little smile casted away on her lips, as she watched the master leave. Members around her all laughed in joy, telling of the many tales of Koya. How she saved many, and how generous she was. Which was all true. Kicking off the pole, Electra let her hood fall, revealing her face. Gold, bristling hair that seem to hurt to touch and bright golden eyes that caught anyone attention, that was her. Maneuvering through the crowd, she watched the 2nd leader enter the office. 'Must be something important.' Electra tilted her head, watching the door close in a deftly shut.
Antheia

In the great, and broad forest of Kuza, it was silent, excluding the sound of the wind. Shadows from the clouds over casted the trees, showing a sign of great disturbance. The cherrubis disappeared under their leaves, while other pokemon left to find their homes and children. It was all quiet. The trees shifted eerily, while the sun was limited to its shine in the dark forest, only small patches of light were seen on the ground. This was the first sign and everyone knew it. The sign of war.
Immediately after the villagers went off, a sudden charge of pokemon jumped through the large branches, and some lopped across the grass, leaving the lightest of sounds. Some of them stopped near a gate, nodding towards some breloom who stood guard. "Who are you and what is your business here.." One asked, eying the hooded figures suspiciously while another pointed his spear as a threat. Quietly, one stepped forward, and pulled down her hood, causing eyes to widen. The queen. The two guards hastily bowed. "I apologize Queen Antheia!" The queen shook her head, and smiled lightly. "Its alright, you were only doing your job, but if we may enter, me and these patrollers all have business to get done." The two nodded, stepping aside quickly, allowing all to race inside to attend to their jobs. Leaving Antheia with the guards. "There are more of are patrollers coming so please allow them in."
"Of course."
Nodding, Antheia disappeared from her spot in a flicker, before appearing near her chambers. Her speed is what she was known for, as well as her grace and finesse. "As expected, your speed is still in tip-top shape.."
Antheia remained unfazed, and she merely spoke calmly, glancing at a shadowed corner near her windows. "What are you doing in my chambers Rafe..?" She smiled calmly, watching a roserade, her soilder's trainer and adviser, step out of the darkness, a mask adorning his face. "Just to check on you, news of your arrival has spread like a wild fire."
"I see.." It suddenly went quiet, but Rafe took it to break the silence. "Did you find anything during the patrol?"
Antheia sighed, and shook her head. "No, the boundaries have been left alone, but I'm afraid war is really coming upon us..." The roserade nodded quietly, clearly worried of this predicament. "What has the other kingdoms says about this..?" The queen bit her lip in frustration. "Nothing, we are in too much of mess to communicate without breaking out in a fight." "The guild..?"
She remained silent, and simply dropped in her chair, hoping to relax for once. It was Rafe's turn to say 'I see' before turning away to do this job. "Wait."
The roserade stopped immediately. "Yes?"
"Where is my son..?"
"Im not sure...why?"
"..I want to see him, if you see him, please ask him to see me."
"Of course." And with that, Rafe left her alone, in her dark chambers. She noticed this little change, and looked around. The windows provided no real light, seeing how it was outside, and usually the sun was their only light.. This defiantly gloomed her mood a bit. Everything in Kuza was usually so bright.. the sun warming their homes and the trees swinging in a welcoming dance. But today, the sun seem to hide from war, and the trees seem angered.
Feeling some sun light from the small round skylight abover her flicker upon her face, she closed her eyes, and relaxed on the chair in the dark room.

"Hello, hello." he said taking a seat. "So, how are we gonna do this. The only strategy I can think of is I go to HI since I know it best. Koya you could go to Doku and the rest could go to MIzu." he said smugly. "But were not doing any of that are we?"

Koya laughed at her partner in crime. "Arceus no! That's too predictable." She leaned back in her throne chair and began throwing darts at the large map, hitting the three kingdoms with her red and electric blue darts. "I'm going in. Scopin' everything out... Seeing as we're still mostly known in Doku, we have so much wiggle room, it's crazy! So I'll be taking Electra and Atrum with me, seeing as I can't do much in Mizu and I'll need back up in Hi. We'll stay posted with the guild." She grinned and crossed her legs.

Als looked at the guildmaster with worry. "That would mean you're leaving me and Astron in charge..." Koya looked at the girl and nodded. Just then a Pichu ran into the room, grinning.

"Miss Koya! I did my first mission! All by myself!" Koya walked over to the child and scooped him into her arms. The small electric Pokemon gasped before she broke out into giggles.

"Of course, you two. Now, you, my little explorer. I need you to find Atrum the Umbreon and Electra the Jolteon. Think you can handle it?" The child nodded, hopping down and running off to find the two Eeveelutions that her guildmaster needed. Koya stayed facing the door, her hands on her hips."Besides, Astron understands how the guild works and you, Als dearest, can keep that moron in line with Krory."

Garuda Blaze

The Fire King slept peacefully, only his dreams he could escape from the cruel reality that hung over every living thing, he wasn't even sure how it began, the old Palkia accused the others kingdom of harboring a group of thieves that polluted and demanded the custody over every person of poison-type for investigation but refused to even consider the idea that someone of his own kingdom had something to do with the death of the previous King of Hi, the queen of Kusa seemed to go with the flow of war and only protected her citizens, the situation was quite confusing but if anything was clear was that the oceans would boil before Garuda send his people to be treated as criminals to satisfy an old king.

He felt a familiar presence that brought him calm and helped him to sleep placidly, he didn't know how long he continued to do so but when he opened his eyes the first thing he saw beside him was his daughter Suzaku, Garuda quickly straightened somewhat embarrassed by the fact that he fell asleep like a kid, "Sorry, I don't know what happened me, How long I was asleep?" Garuda wanted change his clothes before seeing his daughter because his outfit was dirty and burned in several places, Suzaku on the other hand was wearing a beautiful dress that matched her perfectly, many would be willing to do anything to catch her heart, Garuda remembered clearly some incident where a stupid tried to create a scene that would end up with him looking like a hero, it goes without saying that their plan failed miserably due to the intervention of the king, Garuda did everything he could to prevent Suzaku of found it but wasn't sure if worked or not, because of the war Garuda had several soldiers watching his daughter when he couldn't do it personally.

Atrum Numbra

The books were piled next to a Umbreon, Atrum was reading nonstop for some time to ease concern over the absence of the leader, she was too reckless at times, especially if there was no one to stop her and this time wasn't accompanied anyone who could do it, so he was worried.

The overall mood of the place improved considerably out of nowhere, Atrum was sensitive to those kinds of things but wondered why the sudden change, the answer came from the hand of a small Pichu who was quite cheerful "I found you" he said giggling, "Do you need my help, little one?" asked putting aside the book he held in his hands and standing. "Miss Koya returned!, She sent me to get you!", Kid was quite proud to have done his job, Atrum instead quite was relieved that the leader arrived safely but he was unaware of the reason for having called him, he put his hand on the head of the Pichu and said "Good job, I'll go see her right away."

He walked toward the leader's office where the guild superiors gather to discuss important issues and the Umbreon walked through the door, the first thing he saw was the leader Koya standing near the entrance and sighed in relief, there was also the Astron and Alsdair with Krory the next in the line of authority, "it's an honor to be in your presence again, What I can do for you?".

Kaleesh was standing guard in the treetops near the Queen's residence. Flitting rapidly and silently from perch to perch, even an observer who knew he was there would have great trouble finding him among the leaves. He had been there since the sunrise and seen nothing unusual, but some small movements on the forest floor now caught his attention. Hooded figures approached the gate swiftly and gracefully. "The Queen!" thought Kaleesh. Taking one more look around to be sure there was no one following them, he zipped over the gates towards the Queen's chambers. Much had been on his mind recently, and he needed to seek the Queen's audience as soon as he could.

Soon in the hallway leading the Queen's residence, he saw Rafe exiting the royal chambers ahead of him. Kaleesh bowed politely as the Roserade passed. Rafe had taught him many valuable battle techniques as the trainer of Kusa's military, and Kaleesh would always be indebted to his knowledge and prowess. The ninjask then made his way in to see Antheia himself. He kneeled as soon as he saw the Queen in her chair. "Your majesty, forgive my intrusion but I have urgent matters to discuss."

Kaleesh kept his head bowed as he spoke, the respect he had for Antheia very apparent in his posture and voice. "As Rafe has no doubt already informed you, a guild has risen up in the former kingdom of Doku. I do not know what numbers their ranks hold or the purpose of their organization, but the sparse information I have collected suggests that they plan to involve themselves some way in the approaching conflict. As you know, I was born in Doku. I know there exist many honorable Pokemon who would never harm our kingdom, but I have also seen the darker side of its people, Pokemon with no honor who gain joy from preying on the innocent. To protect our people, I humbly request to journey to Doku and uncover what information I can on this guild and their ambitions. I will move swiftly and silently, harm no one, and return in a few days time with my discoveries."

Suzaku

Suzaku watched time fly by, as memories flashed through her eyes. Some made her smile and some made her stifle a giggle. Like the time her father try to impress her with fire only to burn down her bed room...and they tried to calm it down only for the fire to spread to the next room- 'ah..What good memories...' She smiled to herself, but quickly focused on a light groan. Turning her head, she noticed her father shifting awake from his dreams or maybe nightmare. Though even so, he was waking to reality. Anywho IT was rather amusing watching him look around and finally noticing her, his expressions obviously showing his embarrassment. She knew her father too well.
"Sorry, I don't know what happened me, How long I was asleep?"
"Not long." Suzaku lied. It actually been an hour or so..but she didnt want to make her father feel bad. "And its alright, you're tired thats all..." Sitting up, she observed her father's state, noting every burn and cut on his body. 'I'll have to get some healers..' She told herself, before turning her attention back at Garuda. Remaining quiet, something snapped within her, and she felt a bit different. Her eyes felt moist, and she almost felt her lips quiver. and Suddenly, her body acted on its own, and tackled her father in a huge hug. "I missed you..." Suzaku murmured, trying to be light against his wound, but was too pleased with her fathers forgotten warmth. "Why does a war have to start.." She whispered as if it was a whine, and she immediately regretted it as it slipped through her lips. Suzaku was trying to be an adult, but at times she forgets about maturity and has her whining moments.
Electra

Watching the crowd, she felt dazed and unfocused, until a little pat on her back awoke her.
Electra blinked a bit, and looked over her shoulder to find the source. The pichu member. She smiled a bit, and turned around, before kneeling in front of him. "Yes?" She asked kindly, her signature cool smile gracing her lips.
The pichu giggled, and jumped a bit. "Ms.Koya has arrived and gave me a mission to find you Electra!" The jolteon smiled inwardly at her leader's ways with kids, before nodding acting as if the mission was a great importance. "Oh I see~ Well arent you a brave one." She stood up, and patted the child on the head. "Thank you for telling me this~" Placing a finger on the child's cheek, she sent a little jolt of lightening, causing his hair to spike up. The pichu jumped in shock before giggling happily at the recharge. "hehe bye Electra~!" Then within seconds, the child ran off in bundles of energy which jolteon gave. Her shocks are known to have 100,000 watts, so of course the pichu will probably be more energized then ever. Chuckling a bit, she head toward the office, noticing the umbreon entering as well. The other Eeveelutions. Quickening her steps, she stood next to Atrum, hearing his question.
"Yes What can we do for you leader?"
Antheia

Antheia opened her eyes slightly, as she felt a new presence in the room. It took awhile to notice, as the steps were light and deaf.
Hopefully, This must be one of her soldiers or maybe her knight, and if so, she was pleased with the results of training. Looking downward, she noticed the one kneeling immediately. Her knight, Kaleesh.
A kind and happy smile graced her lips, as she observed the Ninjask. "Your majesty, forgive my intrusion but I have urgent matters to discuss."
Antheia studied his way of speaking, and his posture with great care, noticing the obvious amount of respect that was given to her. This made her feel happy, and her eyes gleamed with satfication, but as she thought so, she allowed her ears to open to listen to her great knight.
"Its far Alright Knight, what is it that you need to discuss..?"
As she listened to his request, her pleased eyes filed with two other emotions. Pride and Worry. The thought of a knight, sacrificing himself for his kingdom and yet vowed to harm no one during a war, made her heart flutter with happiness and respect. Though at the same time, she was worried, has he have nothing else to ask for? Clearing her throat, she allowed her smile to soften greatly. "I, Antheia, grant you permission to go to Doku and collect as much information as you can... I shall suit you up with necessary supplies for this journey.." She exhaled and continued. "Though if you have any other request to ask for, please do tell.." She shifted on her chair a bit, and gave this whole idea a thought. Should she follow this quest? The other kingdoms, and defiantly the guild, should know her appearance within seconds of seeing her.. So that was defiantly a no-no. Maybe her son should attend this... to learn to survive in the outside world..
[Sorry its really choppy, i had to type this 2 times over >.< stupid computar D:<]

Koya laughed at Atrum and shook her head. "I'm just another guild member, Atrum. Just the same as you and the others who are out there..." She responded, her usual retort to praise, titles or anything of the sort. She didn't hate it, she actually liked it. but the others did more than she did. She didn't truly deserve it. "But enough about that." She said, messing with the closest dart on the wall, the one pointing to Kusa. "You and I, Atrum, will be heading through the kingdoms, more sightseeing and scouting than anything else. Electra, you my dear, will be tending to the training and overseeing the guild building while Astron and Als begin to rebuild the castle of Doku and the surrounding areas with the rest of the guild." She turned to the others, the dart now in her hand.

"Then, when we, the lowly guild of Fumei, the unlikely underdogs, have stopped the worst war in history, we can properly rule, bringing our once fertile and rich lands back to its full potential!" She exclaimed, her eyes passionate, the emotion making her already electric blue shine and glow. But they also, deep in their depths, promised unimaginable pain for those who wanted to stop her. "We can care for the orphans, who lost parents in the small skirmishes that have already started... Doku will become a sancuary for those who do not wish to fight, a safe haven. That is what we were... And that is what we will return to." She muttered softly, looking down at the similarly colored dart. She gripped it in one hand and looked at all of her most trusted advisers, friends and even family.

Als shook her head fondly at her guildmaster. She too understood the want, no the need, to return their lands, after the other three kingdoms tore it down as they did. Krory's mouth was grinning, signifying that Als was pleased, happy, maybe even excited. She would be in battle with the neon angel of Doku, her most beloved guildmaster. And Astron, the desert spirit, the protector of the dunes. The fact that two very powerful Pokemon wanted her as their third in command always made her proud and stressed. She had to be the best to keep up with them, even when Koya told her she didn't have to be. She wanted to prove her worth, no matter what. "Of course, guildmaster. Krory and I are behind you 100%." She bowed lightly while Krory began to happy dance.

Astron Der Jenko

"Besides, Astron understands how the guild works and you, Als dearest, can keep that moron in line with Krory." Astron rolled his eyes. "Moron, I find your insults bland and over used dear Koya." he said with a cocky smirk. He was much more talk than anything and he was the kind of guy who didn't think of much anything too seriously, but when he did you had to look out. "You and I, Atrum, will be heading through the kingdoms, more sightseeing and scouting than anything else. Electra, you my dear, will be tending to the training and overseeing the guild building while Astron and Als begin to rebuild the castle of Doku and the surrounding areas with the rest of the guild. "Yippee I get to rebuild a castle." he said with immense sarcasm as he felt back into his chair. "Exactly how are we gonna do it we'd need some pretty sturdy bricks and a team, not two people and a demon, no offense. " he said somewhat afraid of Krory.

He believed just as strong in Koya's dream almost as much as she did but he thought more of what would actually happen. He knew that it would be harder than she thought to take down three armies and end a war but they might be able to pull it off if they could act correctly. Koya was doing the right thing now but for the time being she was taking Atrum which he would never do but it was a good move. The boy was a strange one defiantly and Astron thought of him as slightly suicidal. No one knew where he came from but he knew that he was more of a guardian than a fighter making him somewhat of a tank and considering that maybe Koya expected them to be attacked so that he could take the hits without much harm.

Kaleesh

"I, Antheia, grant you permission to go to Doku and collect as much information as you can... I shall suit you up with necessary supplies for this journey.." She exhaled and continued. "Though if you have any other request to ask for, please do tell.."

Kaleesh was taken aback at the generosity of his Queen, even though he he had seen it expressed many times to the people of Kusa. "No, your majesty," he replied. "I could not dream of asking you for any more than you have so graciously granted." As the Ninjask stood, a mournful sigh escaped his lips. "To tell you the truth, your majesty, I also seek this mission for personal reasons. Though it was a hard childhood, Doku was my home. In my heart I would love to see it rebuilt, to be led by noble Pokemon seeking the common good of others. Yet, I cannot simply assume that this guild will be such a leader to Doku. I must know if it intends for good or ill, and make sure it is stopped if it truly seeks to gain fortune off of conflict."

He suddenly realized he had said far more than he had intended. Antheia just seemed so understanding the words spilled out without Kaleesh realizing it. He quickly bowed his head. "I apologize, my Queen. I did not mean to trouble you with my past." He was about to turn and go, when he noticed the Queen appeared to be deep in thought. He decided to wait a little longer standing at attention, to see if she would speak.

Finbar

It had been a long day of preparations and strategizing for Finbar, and he was visibly worn out. The war room had cleared out, leaving an empty table strewn with flags and figurines, along with stacks of papers cluttering the floor and benches. Finbar slowly collapsed on the ancient throne of Mizu, letting out a loud groan. The only other Pokemon in the room was a late-middle aged Octillery, the most decorated general serving in the old royal guard but now retired. "What a horrible mess, Bumble," Finbar moaned to the Octillery, "I had forgotten how terrible a business war really is. And it hasn't even started yet."

Bumble slowly walked over to the throne and sat down by his old friend. "Aye, Finbar, that it is. But I believe in ya, as do the rest o the folks in Mizu, even if they seem a wee bit scared right now."

"We shall see about that." Muttered Finbar. "But in the meantime, what do you think of the plans so far?"

"I cannae say it's the best position I've ever fought out of, but it'll have to do fer now," replied Bumble. "A full assault on just Kusa or Hi would leave our borders too unprotected from tha other kingdom. Our only real option is ta divide our forces to assault both at once. It'll be tough, aye, for sure, but if we play our cards right we just might get through with casualties to a minimum."

Finbar ran his fingers purposefully on the extravagant coral finishes of the throne. "You may be right. Garuda and Antheia are far too inexperienced to be proper leaders. Garuda is a hothead who only knows how to stir up a fight, and Antheia shows promise but is far too young to fully understand the responsibilities of leading an entire kingdom. Further, their royal guards suffered greatly under the wars of the past generation, much of the military leadership is new blood that has not yet been properly hardened on the battlefield. If we can use our experience against them, we could catch them unprepared."

Bumble grinned, slyly. "I don't mean ta brag, your majesty, but I'd wager Mizu still has tha finest artillery divisions in all o' Yoso. I've made sure o' that."

Finbar permitted himself a small smile. "Ha, I know you have, Bumble. There never was a commander as demanding as you are on the sharpshooter recruits." Finbar paused a moment, seemingly lost deep in thought. "I won't keep you any longer, Bumble. But thank you for your insights, and for making today as bearable as it could be." Bumble nodded and, never losing his grin, made his way out of the throne room. Finbar suddenly sat up straight on his throne. The time for rest was not quite in grasp for him. There was still the matter of the young twins. Closing his eyes and meditating deeply, Finbar reached out to Taobi and Fedui telepathically, sending a simple message. Come to me, my children, there is something I must briefly discuss with you. He sighed again and leaned back against elegantly carved stone. He did not want his children to be involved in this conflict, but as the only heirs of the throne it was their duty to be present in the fights of Mizu. He could only hope that they came to no harm and would someday forgive him for being unable to avoid this war.

Garuda Blaze

That was a heartbreaking moment, been a few days since he saw his daughter or spent time alone with her so he also missed her. Garuda couldn't help but feel the weight of war once again as he hugged his daughter and thought about the many children who would ask exactly the same question to their parents: "Why does a war have to start..", no matter how many reasons he could think nothing was worth the amount of lives that would be lost in the fray of the Three Kingdoms, the world will never be the same no matter who wins, Garuda knew perfectly well his own destructive force so he was sure that a direct confrontation with another ruler will change forever the landscape.

"Forgive me, is partly my fault" he answered truthfully caressing the hair of Suzaku "It seems that this world is ruled by fools, I'm seeking answers, the old man of Mizu want prisoners and the woman of Kusa refuses to hand both things, in the end we were unable to reach an agreement", the main conflict was between Mizo and Hi, Garuda completely rejected even think about the possibility of sending his people and the elderly seemed to distrust the Fire King when he offered to personally investigate the allegations of the Palkia.

"Now all I can do is defend my people and especially you," the towns and villages near the border were evacuated and moved near Mount Groudon and a few of the fastest border patrols watched the for changes and the troops awaited inland the infantry of Hi was particularly powerful thanks to the Spartan training of the Commander Dosi, a Rhyperior who earned his name and position in the Time of Garuda's father, "I will not let anything happen to you" the King repeated softly.

Atrum Numbra

Electra the Jolteon entered slightly later than Atrum to the office, apparently she had also been called by Koya, Atrum had an affinity with her although most likely that has to do with the fact that both were the same pokemon in the past.
"You and I, Atrum, will be heading through the kingdoms, more sightseeing and scouting than anything else. Electra, you my dear, will be tending to the training and overseeing the guild building while Astron and Als begin to rebuild the castle of Doku and the surrounding areas with the rest of the guild."

Those were the orders, Atrum was honored for the trust the leader put in him the by request to accompany her directly into enemy territory in a period of a senseless war, Atrum hated everything that had to do with violence that's why he was so fascinated to hear the ideals proclaimed by Koya, she was a very important existence right now and the mission of the Umbreon was to ensure that nothing happens no matter the price.

"I'm ready to go" Atrum said quietly, it would be safer for the leader go first to Kusa but one could never be sure with Koya so Atrum had to mentally prepare for any possible scenario.

"Yippee I get to rebuild a castle." "Exactly how are we gonna do it we'd need some pretty sturdy bricks and a team, not two people and a demon, no offense. "

He could not help but notice the sarcastic tone of the second in command, "Astron, I believe that the leader left in your charge to all guild members so you will not have trouble finding labor to help with the reconstruction"

Taobi Havelock

Taobi was up hours ago training on a practice dummy in the garden. His sister had set it up for him on the agreement he not touch any of the plants she kept in the garden, which he reluctantly agreed too considering they were almost everywhere. He had found a clearing luckily and His armor clanked as he slashed at the dummy with his sword, the silver rocks inside fell out. "Yes!!!" he cheered then fell over from the weight of the armor. He growled as he stood up and heard his sister's laughing. "Shut up." he said growling before he heard his father.

Fedui Havelock

Fedui was in her personal garden humming, a yellow ring coming out of her mouth. It was her super sonic but luckily no one was near enough to get hit by it. She could hear her brother so she peered through the kelpsy berries and saw her brother fall on the ground. She let out a large laugh and almost fell back in humor. She knew her brother was extremely egotistical (and so did everyone who had ever talked to him) but she was one of the few who knew how insecure he was about himself. She took advantage of it at times but didn't like to do it other than the few times he did something she hated.

Come to me, my children, there is something I must briefly discuss with you.

Both Spoke at the same time as they would often do when they got telekinetic messages.

"Yes Father."

"Yes Father."

They both rushed to their rooms quickly looking for a change of clothes. Fedui picked herself out a stunning green dress, the color of Wepear berries she has desperately tried to grow. While Taobi grabbed a simple vest and pants considered for royal occasions. They both rushed down to their father. Taobi made it seconds before his sister then bowed as Fedui curtsied.

" What do you need father? "

"Yes Father what is it?"

"Exactly how are we gonna do it we'd need some pretty sturdy bricks and a team, not two people and a demon, no offense."

"Astron, I believe that the leader left in your charge to all guild members so you will not have trouble finding labor to help with the reconstruction"

"Ast! Atrum is right! You have the entire guild! Use their powers to your advantage! And don't call me leader, Atrum! It's Koya! Ko-Ya." She grinned and ran over to her desk, rooting around in it until she pulled out a heavily marked on map of the castle. She brought it over and opened it. "Alright, look." She pointed to a large section that wasn't overly marked on. "These are mostly armories, ballrooms, unneeded things for war." Her hand moved to a smaller section that seemed to be made of small rooms. "These are where you need to focus. We need rooms. Rooms for orphans, injured and the ones who don't want to fight. There are also blacksmiths and kitchens in this area, which are also important."

Als seemed to be taking notes but she was really watching the guildmaster. Se seemed to be in thought over something. Krory's mouth morphed into a deep frown, making Als look away, so Krory would stop. She began to go through the list of guild members, sorting into piles of brick makers, layers and room designers. It would keep her from watching Koya's skin become clammy.

She handed the map to her second in command and turned to Atrum. "Atrum, come on, we need to prepare..." She said, walking out the door, one hand grasping at the Umbreon's tightly. She had to talk to the other in private, that not even Als or Ast could hear. She tugged him into the large armory, her usually tan skin pale. "Atrum... If I'm captured... Do not, under any circumstances, rescue me. Astron will know what to do if I am, just leave me. Okay?" She turned to him with pleading eyes. "I can live with being caught but not seeing you get captured because of me..." She reluctantly released his hand, but not before squeezing it slightly. "Please... Promise me that..."

Keita had fallen asleep late and tried to be up for his mother but he did not feel like waking on this day. He rolled over in his bed just to have the sun shine right on his face. He quickly throw his blanket over his head and grumbles. "Why on earth did I stay out so late?" he ask himself and threw the blanket off of him. He then kicked the bed laying down and sat up scratching his head. He then ran his hands through his hair and got out of the bed and searched for his clothing of the day. After getting what he needed he opened the door to his room and left it open behind him. He really did not care much for closing it. Frankly it made is easy to sneak back in to it if he stayed out late. He was down the call when he stopped and yell. "Mom?! Where are you?"

Finbar looked over his children with loving eyes. They truly were his biggest joy in his old age. But swallowing back his emotion, he forced himself to relay the serious orders. "My children, you have grown strong and honorable and I am very proud of you both. I had hoped to spare you from battle while I was still alive, at least, but fate has forced my hand. We are going to war against Hi and Kusa, and I need the two of you to be commanders of the Mizu forces."

Rising from the throne, Finbar walked towards the two and pulled them into a strong embrace. He looked his son in the eye. "Taobi, you have a strong will and strength to match. I am putting you in charge of Mizu's soldiers on the Kusa front. I will be taking the artillery and aerial platoons to lead an attack against Hi, so I want you to choose from our soldiers Pokemon who can navigate the grass and forests of Hi capably. Choose the most agile, for I foresee Antheia using guerrilla tactics in her territory. Make sure to bring soldiers who can fight back against grass types. I know you have not always been fully dedicated to your training, so if you have trouble deciding, seek counsel from Bumble. He will keep it a secret so your pride is not injured."

Finbar then turned to Fedui. "And you, Fedui, have brought much joy and aid to our people with your skills as a healer. I want you to accompany your brother to Kusa and command the nurses who will care for the wounded. There will be much sorrow and loss, war is a horrible business, but with your talents you can bring life out of the battlefield where others would leave only death."

Sensing he was about to get tears in his eyes, Finbar turned away from the twins and walked back to the throne. "Please, look out for each other. Do not let any harm befall either of you. And Taobi! The battlefield is no place for pride. Do not risk lives for glory or to prove your strength against the enemy. Seek to hurt as few as possible, and remember our objective. We do not want to overthrow Kusa, only to bring poison types into custody. And Fedui, I pray you will never have to use them, but do not forget that even a nurse can use her powers to inflict harm if she comes under attack. Do not hesitate to defend yourself and your brother, should the need arise. Now go get some rest. Preparations begin tomorrow."

She always knew this..or had an idea that this mission had something more personal behind it... though she never guess that Kaleesh would be so open about it. Honestly, it made her feel happy, warm, and felt like a good queen. Her knights seem to trust her.
I apologize, my Queen. I did not mean to trouble you with my past." She smiles. "Its alright...I'm glad that you're so open to me.."
Antheia watched him go but noticed Kaleesh stop, and she assumed he knew that she was about to say something. 'Observant..' She nodded, and was pleased to hear her son's voice calling for her. "Mom?! Where are you?"
"Here my son.." She called back, and smiled at Kaleesh. A soft glint shown in her eyes, and she spoke in a soft voice. "Kaleesh, please do a favor for me...and take my son with you to Doku." She looked at her nearby book case, as if she was trying to distract herself. "I want him to experience things... and if I wait, it may get too dangerous for him to leave... and if something..bad happens to me, I may not be able to let him experience things before he becomes the heir and experiences the burden of the crown." She stood up from the chair, and stepped near the knight. "If you accept this favor, protect Keita..and teach him?" She always worried for her son, seeing how he always stayed in the sun and not play around as a kid should. IT may be something he enjoys to do, but she can't help but worry. "But.. I'll have to talk to him first.. so Kaleesh go visit Rafe in the armory and he should have the necessary supplies to give you. Just tell him that your going to Doku. He'll understand"

She turned to the others, the dart now in her hand. She nodded slowly, pleased at the job. Something she enjoyed to do, train. "It'll be my pleasure too Koya." She replied slowly, making sure to use "Koya" instead of "Leader" But as she said that, she decided to stay quiet. She wasent the one to talk, no she rarely talked at all. So instead she listened to the conversations, her ears twitching at any word that caught..her ears. "I wish you luck Koya, Atrum." Electra nodded towards the both of them, genuinely hoping for their safety.

Suzaku

Suzaku felt her father's arms wrap around her in a warm embrace, which fufilled many of her desires... Oh how she missed the feeling. Her aching muscles stopped pulsing and seemed to heal against the heat of Garuda.

"Forgive me, is partly my fault" Her hair was then gently caressed by her father, the flaming red and orange locks slipping between his fingers. Though dispite this wonderful feeling, she listened in closing, knowing what her father was going to say.. "It seems that this world is ruled by fools, I'm seeking answers, the old man of Mizu want prisoners and the woman of Kusa refuses to hand both things, in the end we were unable to reach an agreement", Suzaku nodded silently in response against her fathers chest, as she took in his ashy yet comforting scent. Her mind was at ease, no thoughts of training, and the tightness of her mind just vanished... His next words made her smile softly.

"Now all I can do is defend my people and especially you,""I will not let anything happen to you" the King repeated softly.

"I know that father.." She pulled her head back a bit, and looked up at him, her eyes twinking with genuine happiness and trust. "Your the strongest man here and in the rest of the land, because your my father!" Suzaku added on thoughtfully, but then her eyes shined softly. "But please, stay safe..nevertheless." Suzaku tilted her head a bit, as she dusted off some ashe from her father's cheek.

Taobi and Fedui Havelock

Both of the twins listened to their father each with their own separate expressions. Taobi was ecstatic he was going to lead a battle. He was celebrating on the inside but stood calm, cool, and confident. He would be able to gain the glory and fame he deserved from the people and come back as a hero when he captured the poison types responsible. Fedui was, less than happy about it. Okay, devastated. She stood her ground smiling and nodding to her father's questions.

When they were dismissed Taobi rushed to his room and tried to fall asleep but found himself too giddy about the battle tomorrow. Fedui however didn't even change before she jumped into her bed, something she never did. She turned on a music box her mother had given her as a girl and cried into her pillow, the box concealing her wails. She hated the idea of fighting in the very little bit and they didn't even know if the culprits were in Kusa or not. It didn't matter if they were or not she didn't want to fight. She looked up and saw several servants looking concerned as they approached her and she simply used confusion on one of them who ran out the rest following them. She then sat up with tears in her eyes. S sorry." she said before she put her head on her pillow as gasped to sleep.

Astron Der Jenko

Astron listened to Koya with content and nobility. "Alright, look. These are mostly armories, ballrooms, unneeded things for war. These are where you need to focus. We need rooms. Rooms for orphans, injured and the ones who don't want to fight. There are also blacksmiths and kitchens in this area, which are also important." Astron nodded. "Yes of course." he watched her exit with Atrum and sighed then looked at Alsdiar and Krory. "Als,Krory when you get a chance meet me near the plateau and bring some of the heavy lifters and anyone with sharp claws I have a plan." he said before running out the map in hand.

He grabbed his bag and cloak off the table stuffed the parchment in the bag. He Put the cloak in too considering he liked the heat and was built for it unlike most. He got outside and beat his large wings going faster than most of his stature could. He made it to the plateau which was a good mile and a half from the guild but he made it only in a few minutes. He quickly flew over head and began to chant. He feel heavy as he drifted to the top and stomped hard on the ground causing even the guild to feel vibrations from his earthquake. Large slabs fell off the rock and looked sturdy enough. He picked up one and tried to fit it together with incinerate while he waited for the others.

Atrum Numbra

The Umbreon heard the orders that leader Koya gave to the second in command Astron after confirming Atrum's reasoning about that the Flygon had at his disposal all the members of the Guild Fumei, the lead-Koya led him by the hand in silence towards an armory, perhaps to give some secret order though Atrum couldn't even think there was something for her to hide from the highest ranking members of the guild.

That was completely unexpected but the Umbreon managed to remain calm in front of such a request, Atrum looked at his hand she just released and took his time to choose his words wisely by remembering its warmth, it wasn't a decision that could be taken lightly or leave to the instinct, "Koya... if that's what you really want..." he paused somewhat disturbed "I will do what you ask me, but not without doing everything in my power prevent you from being caught" he bowed to the leader without the slightest twinge of conscience for the lie he just said, there was no way that he would leave her if she was captured.

When Atrum said that, Koya felt the large weight on her chest lift, making her shake her head. She tapped the top of his head with her knuckle and huffed. "No bowin' Atrum! Rule number one!" She grinned and walked over to her weapon case. Pulling out her dirks, she turned to the Umbreon. "We'll leave in two days time, just enough to help the others some, with planning and everything. You'll pack for two, plus any stragglers we may pick up around." She sliced at the air a few times, moving through half a set before she stopped in front of Atrum, the left dirk at his throat, the right at his side. They didn't touch him at all, she knew the poison on them. Withdrawing, she sheathed her beloved weapons.

"Look, there's another layer to this journey." She held three fingers up "Recon is the topmost. Everyone knows this... Exploration is the mid layer. The higher ups know this too. But the last... The last is to save. Meaning you and me. I've heard from my scouts in Mizu that they're going to target Poison types... Those are my kin... So we're going to get as many out as possible..." She pulled out the report that the scout, a Chincou, wrote up and handed it to him. She was one of the children that she had returned with, along with the Kusa scout, who didn't have much to report on. Which worried her. What would the Grass queen be up to...? Unluckily the Fire king was also preparing for war. Meaning both males were serious. She began to pace, a serious look on her face.

"Als,Krory when you get a chance meet me near the plateau and bring some of the heavy lifters and anyone with sharp claws I have a plan."

"Roger that." She quickly called her own team and two others, each specialized. That was their system. Speedsters go with other scout like Pokemon, so on and so forth. But that wasn't important now. With the others in tow, she made it to the buildsite. Astron had already begun. Als looked up at Krory and nodded, making the steel shadow move with the others. "Give 'em the orders, Ast. They're your beginning workers." she tossed him the comm device that all three carried. "And you left this. Koya paid in blood for these things. Let's not waste 'em." She began to make the long journey back to the guild building, running at top speeds.

Astron watched the workers Alsdair brought in and nodded. He saw them all and held out one of the pile bricks he had sculpted. "Okay you four we will need as many of these as possible. Their dimensions are of two, by three, by five, so try and get them as close to that. Use the ones of light color and make them smooth." he said taking his and putting it next to another and used incarcerate trying to weld them together.

He figured once he had more they could take them to the castle and put them on there. But then again he could always use mud or something else to cement them together. He wasn't the smartest when it came to architecture, and considering his first home besides the temple was a hole he wasn't too picky of one either. His definition of a good nights sleep was five hours in someplace relatively cool place. He got lost in thought as he tried to get the bricks to come together.

(Not sure who has the coms so can someone (Winged) clear that up for me?)

Kaleesh

The ninjask had been correct, and the queen had one last thing to say. "Kaleesh, please do a favor for me...and take my son with you to Doku." He froze, caught completely off guard by the request. He had intended to go alone, to seek answers about his former homeland. He could move faster than any other scout or guard in Kusa and had the training to be silent and deadly, but the Queen's son....did not have such honed skills in the field. Or at all.

"Your majesty, I, uh...well," Kaleesh began to stutter. Bringing Keita was certainly going to throw his original plans for a loop. But suddenly he stopped his doubts. Her royal highness was making a request, one that was for the good of the royal family and therefore for Kusa. Who was he to go against the desires of Antheia? "Of course." Kaleesh finally replied, regaining his composure. "It would be an honor to aid the prince in learning survival and experience on a mission like this." While his voice did not betray his emotions, his mind still swirled with questions and problems of what to do now that he had to essentially babysit the awkward prince Keita. It would be difficult. Kaleesh was unsure what the young sceptile knew, if anything, of reconnaissance or battle or basic survival outside the forest. He also feared Keita would stick out like a sore thumb if they had to pass themselves off as visitors to the locals. Nevertheless, he resolved to find a way no matter the odds, for it was the will of his queen that he should go. So go, Keita would, and Kaleesh would make sure he came back without a scratch.

Finbar

After seeing his children run off to make ready for bed and preparations, Finbar retired to his room as well. It had been a long day, and he was exhausted, but he couldn't stop his mind from racing between detail and detail for the upcoming conflict. He was proud of his young ones for being able to step up and take responsibility. Taobi would love it, he was sure, but even though Fedui had been the picture of a happy and obedient daughter a few moments ago, Finbar knew she loathed war and would take her sentence very harshly. It could not be helped, he needed them if the war effort was to be a success. Taobi he knew had more resolve than any other general he could have sent to the Kusa front, if he could just avoid being rash it would all be well. And Fedui was without a doubt among the most skilled healers, if not the most, in all of his kingdom. She would be the backup to Taobi's recklessness, keeping the troops safe.

At any rate, it wasn't the Kusa front that was worrying him. As he rolled over in his bed, Finbar imagined the upcoming battle with that hothead, Garuda. The king of Hi was not one to be lightly trifled with. Even with Mizu's elemental advantage over fire, Garuda and his father before him had demonstrated that type advantage was not the deciding factor in a fight. He would have to try to start the assault on Hi through the cover of darkness, when the sun wasn't boosting the power of Hi's armies. Garuda would undoubtedly fight back with his ability to intensify the sunlight during the day, so Finbar would have to think of something to counteract that, as well. But what could... Finbar sat straight up in bed. "Of course!" He thought. "I will have to get aid from the tribe of Politoed." Their ancient rain dancing techniques were capable of summoning huge storms with pouring rain. With their help, Finbar could be assured that at least half of the battlefield would be covered in water, even if the other half was scorching and dry as a bone.

Stumbling upon this new piece of strategy gave Finbar the peace of mind he needed to drift off to sleep. The next day would be very busy indeed.

Garuda Blaze

"Your the strongest man here and in the rest of the land, because your my father!"
The words of his daughter calmed him and dispersed the hint of doubt that clouded his judgment, if there was no way to avoid war now then the foolish king who dragged his people into a personal conflict can only ensure that those who fight do so with the best advantage and that those who don't do it don't suffer the consequences of war, "Well if my daughter thinks I'm the strongest then I have no choice but to be" the King smiled at his daughter as her hand gently brushed his cheek.
"But please, stay safe..nevertheless."
"Suzaku worry not, I am Garuda The King Moltres of the Kingdom Hi my fire will not be quenched". Mizu troops will be a problem because the inherent elemental weakness of most of his soldiers, even if thanks to the training the effects aren't so great such things can't be overcome completely, on the other hand despite having the advantage against Kusa didn't mean that the victory would be easy, in fact the Grass-Soldiers are quite crafty and that could harm his troops greatly.
He spent a few moments embracing Suzaku, moments that seemed like an eternity and took a few step back "I need a change of clothes for the meeting, can you wait outside?", It was time to get the latest reports and adjust the strategy according to the information coming, that was the job of the King and Garuda was proud of his job, "Do you want to come too?", sooner of later Suzaku will be the Queen and although he didn't wanted to involve her this could prove to be very useful for the uncertain future.

Atrum Numbra

"We'll leave in two days time, just enough to help the others some, with planning and everything. You'll pack for two, plus any stragglers we may pick up around."

Atrum was unfazed by the threat of attack by Koya, partly because he wouldn't defend of an attack made by his leader but mainly because Koya isn't the type of person who would attack her friends, She told him that they'll be leaving in two days, more than enough time for the Umbreon prepare everything necessary for the trip, since he had no doubt about his orders Atrum said nothing and just nodded silently while Koya sheathed her Dirks.

So we're going to get as many out as possible..."

The hidden agenda of his mission was a little surprising, while Koya left the place departing Atrum stayed to read the report, the reason of the King Palkia for the war had to do with contamination of his territory, apparently Finbar blamed the poison type pokemon and started his crusade to catch them, of course it wasn't something that Koya could allow considering that she was directly affected, the situation was much more dangerous for the leader than he thought, Atrum went to the storage to prepare provisions, everything he could carry and waited for the day of departure.

The dawn rose over the kingdom of Mizu, the light reflecting and refracting off the water in a myriad of glorious colors. Pokemon began to stir, but Finbar had been up several hours before the sun peeked its head over the horizon. His strike against the other kingdoms had to be quick, before they could entrench their defenses, and Finbar had much yet to do. The old Palkia went over his battle plans for what seemed like the hundredth time, his army officers observing as he painted an imaginary picture on the grand table in the throne room.

"We will lead with our ground battalions. I want all of our best Gastrodon, Seismitoad and Quagsire soldiers on the Hi front. Their affinity to the ground makes them the ideal siege engineers, and we will need them, for Garuda's mountain palace is heavily fortified. Put the Lanturn battalion directly behind them, and I want Poliwrath battalions on both sides who can run in and defend or flank if need be."

The officers murmured among themselves while Finbar scratched his long beard. He pointed at several hills close to Mount Groudon. "Our first primary objective is to take these hills. Once we have established ourselves there we can set up our artillery divisions, Blastoise and Octillery and Kingdra and Seadra. They will be able to bombard the battlefield with hydro pumps at will."

"Won't Garuda just move his troops up or behind the mountain?" asked one of the officers, "Why would he engage in the line of fire of our artillery?"

Finbar pointed at the base of Mount Groudon. "We will force his hand. If he does not engage, our ground battalions will break down the entire mountain. He can try to position his ranged fighters on top of the mountain, but our artillery can provide covering fire to hinder their efforts." Finbar raised his hand as a rumble of shock and disapproval started to surface. "I assure you, I understand the dangers of assaulting an active volcano. We will have all the strongest ice types on hand to control the lava flow on top of our ground types who can shake and structure the earth to build walls against it. Our assault will not relent until we have taken Mount Groudon. We will take the hills during the night, and launch the attack as soon as the artillery is in position. Even when the scorching sun rises, we will have protection against it. Now go and assemble the troops, we march to the borders of Mizu by nightfall!"

The officers saluted and dashed off to get the troops and supplies they would need for such an enormous attack. Finbar surveyed the massive table a moment longer, before turning away himself. The pieces were so small, he thought, and yet they represented dozens, nay, hundreds of lives. Lives that could be snuffed away in an instant. He sat down on his throne in disgust. What absolute evil a war was. Even to save his homeland, Finbar would almost rather abandon the ocean altogether instead of risking his people in another world conflict. But abandoning Mizu was out of the question. He was its protector as much he was the protector of Mizu's pokemon. And he had a job to do. Finbar leaned back into his throne and brought his hands to his head, focusing intensely. At that moment, Bumble suddenly burst into the room, and Finbar nearly fell over in his seat at the noise.

"Hate ta be a bother, yer majesty," said the elderly Octillery, in a tone that Finbar couldn't tell was apologetic or sarcastic, "but I got ya some info I thinks ya should hear, and hear quick." Bumble paused and adjusted his ragged cap, which had been jostled when he had slammed open the doors to the throne room. "I've been talking ta our agents on the ground, reportin' from all the kingdoms. Looks like we got some kinda guild or band a' pirates or somethin' livin' over in the ruins of Doku. Our spy leaders say it ain't nothin' but a bunch of snot-nosed kids running around tryin' ta fell important 'n all, but I got a bad feelin' bout the whole thing."

Finbar gazed curiously at Bumble. "How so?"

"Well, our folks are sayin' that those Fumei folks, that's the guild ya see, wanna try ta intervene somehow in the conflict. I think they might be tryin' ta pull some terrorist kinda business. They don't claim no borders yet, and they're led by some young gal, a Scolipede by our agents' reckonin'."

Finbar frowned deeply. "A poison type." This new information may indeed cloud issues even further. Was this guild somehow implicated in the heinous acts against Mizu? It would make sense. A small group not linked to the three kingdoms could make its way around at will, and perhaps even commit crimes. But the devastation on Mizu's coast wreaked of an organized plot that only one of the other leaders could have arranged. Still, Fumei could have played a role. He needed more information.

"Thank you, Bumble." Finbar said as he finally stirred from his thoughts. "This news does indeed trouble me. Tell our spies to search for whatever information they can bring back on this guild. We will most likely have to nip it in the bud before it can become even more troublesome. But it does not change our plans for the present. Please go, if you would, and assist Taobi as he gathers his own troops."

Bumble nodded and moseyed back out of the throne room. Finbar sighed and shook his head. If only he could focus on what was bad enough already, without complicating matters constantly arising. No matter, he knew what needed to be done here and now, and that was a start. He closed his eyes and sent a quick telepathic message to his two children. "Prepare yourselves, I leave tonight and you both will leave on your own journey as soon as you are ready." Sitting back, he once again brought his hands to his head. Grasping all the focus he could muster, Finbar reached out with his mind far from the royal palace and into a deep cave situated on a nearby island. His thoughts swirled ethereally, suddenly wrapping around a single being as he found his target.

"Elder, it has been some time. I require your assistance. I believe you know what it is that I seek."

"Finbar! It HAS been a long time. I can sense the unrest in your very thoughts. Let us talk of the arrangement which you have in mind."
