Introduction

A privately owned set of islands will be used to host some of the best trainers in the world. Invitations were sent out any trainer who had the accolades to peak the interest of the massively wealthy King Threshield. The invitation read:

"To whom this may concern,
I am sending these letters out to the best Pokemon Trainers in all the regions, whether you are a champion or challenger, your accolades have peaked my interest enough for me to send you an invite. I am inviting you all to my islands, situated to the west of the small Alola region. I believe that many of you wish to meet the best each region has, as do I and see how you stack up against some of the best trainers in this wonderful world. I have watched Many of you in broadcasts of league battles, televised challenges. Each of you has impressed me to the point where I wish to meet you all in person. I do hope that you will think about accepting my invitation, I have left a map that holds my island's position for those who wish to come, there is also a card on which states the date I have planned out so all arrive at a similar time. I await all of your arrivals, Those that choose to travel to the island will be compensated for travel fees and will be able to enjoy the free housing while on the islands. You will be allowed to bring any of your Pokemon with you to use in the state of the art facilities for hosting the Pokemon. This of it more of a vacation and a networking retreat than anything.
Sincerely, King Threshield

RULES

1. Make your characters interesting, they are some of the best trainers, masters, and coordinators in the world, you can give them great egos, be very modest, or anything in between. A diverse cast of different people will be better for the RP.
2. Vulgarity is allowed, I mean I doubt many will be less than a teenager entering the Rp so it is almost expected to happen once in a while.
3. Romance is allowed as of now, this rule may be subject to change.
4. Respect me and other Roleplayers any disputes should be settled civil and character relations should stay in the RP.
5. Try to last and Give Literate post that is at least a standard paragraph on average.
6. If you wish to join the Rp but not be one of the high-end trainers, then it is okay to be one of their companions.
7.Have fun guys after all, it is just a game and the point is to enjoy yourself.
8. Certain aspects of Sun and Moon will be implemented, for now only Z moves and new Pokemon, not forms, will not be allowed.
9. Multiple Characters are allowed but I would like to limit that number to a 2 character max.
10. For those on the journey and build up their history, the League format is more similar to the anime than the game, where the E4 matches come if you win the league matches against other trainers.

POKEMON RULES
1. Pokemon will be allowed to use up seven different moves, these include HM taught moves
2. All Pokemon on hand must be registered in the RP. Though if you plan to use the box or a another method to store the excessive Pokemon there will be a section in the forums for that, and is not necessary for Character approval.
3. Certain Legendary Pokemon will be allowed.
3a. These Legendary Pokemon are Banned from Possession in the RP.
Kanto - Mewtwo, Mew
Johto - Celebi, Lugia, Ho-oh
Hoenn - Kyorge, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys
Sinnoh - Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Arceus, Azelf, Mesprit, Uxie
Unova - Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem
Kalos - Xerneas, Yvetal, Zygarde
Alola - TBD
4. A full description of your Pokemon on hand most be in your character profile of your character sheet, including gender, moves, abilities of choice, and any unique qualities.
5. Shiny Pokemon are welcomed but try not of have too many.
6. Any of the already announced Alola forms will be allowed.
7. The area for Pokemon

BATTLE GUIDELINES
1. You will not be limited to the amount of Pokemon that can mega evolve in a battle, but will only be allowed one mega evolution per battle.
2. There will be two ways to do battles:
2a. The first way will allow the participants to decide on the victor privately and write their post accordingly
2b. While the other way will have you using Pokemon Showdown to decided the winner. The actual time of battle is irrelevant though seeing as our rules are different from the games. I'd recommend a quick random battle though.
3. To make sure battles don't consume the posting area, I'd ask that most of the back and forth be done in PMs or the forums and the post be kept to a minimum for the actual battle. One or two post from each of the participants should be fine though.

Lock Everett & Sophie Valentine

Once Lock had returned to the group with Riza it seemed the party had just started to begin. The host King Threshield had finally showed himself and introduced himself to the group. Both Alex and Neve spoke up, and were quickly responded to by their host, but the important comment was why they were all here this rich man's entertainment. Lock paid little attention to the host as he rambled on and talked about Riza's accomplishments, Lock's interest were falling even after the other trainers join, Riza had told him a little about them but the comments from the second trainer, Hana Anenokoji visually bothered Lock. He gripped his fist as the girl stood behind King Threshield. His stared at the girl and his focus was solely on her, he did not hear the introductions of the other two. Who are you calling trash woman, these kids may only be second rate elites but they are still what most would consider elite trainers. Lock seemed to be a lot angrier than earlier. Hana did not even react to Lock's comment and simply continued to do what she was doing. Some titleless nobody is treating me like this. How about we have a match? I'll knock you off the high horse you sit on. Lock stared at Hana, he is eyes blazing with anger. She continued to ignore him. This just made Lock angrier but before he could spout another angry word at Hana, King decided to direct a comment at him. Bringing up his necessary need for a ranch to house his large group of Pokemon he wanted to bring along on his vacation.

Sophie had stood and watched as all of this began to happen, she didn't want to interfere with what Lock was saying as while she was able to stand Lock attitude and thinking he was better, this Hana didn't respect the champions before her whatsoever. This girl bothered even her who was as easily irked as other people. Sophie decided she would rather not be around the girl any longer. Well then we will get going, Lock please calm down! Someone like her isn't worth your time, I won't allow the Pokemon I take care of to battle someone so disgraceful. Sophie grabbed Lock's arm and left the room. That Hana Anenokoji was someone Sophie couldn't stand. Lock may have a bad attitude but he respects the titles the others have even if he still believes he is better. I don't like that Hana girl, Lock don't battle her, please. I don't know what it is but I have a bad feeling about her. Sophie stopped and looked and Lock, but he looked as if he wasn't listening, the rage in his eyes had still not subsided. I am fine now Sophie, we will try to stay away from that woman and enjoy the vacation. Lock said this but neither him or Sophie was sure about it as he headed toward a boat with one of Kings servants waiting for them.

After King responded to her, Neve straightened out of her bow and observed the trainers that the man then introduced to the group, his "shadow elite" as he referred to them as. Riza was one of them and thinking about it the name was a little familiar, but honestly Neve couldn't remember where she might have come across it or the lady in question. 'She seems nice enough, I suppose.'

Hana was the next to be introduced and Neve frowned a little at her attitude before shrugging it off. People were entitled to their opinions she supposed, though that didn't mean she had to like it. In comparison, Jin and Kai seemed nicer. The former had an interesting looking Marowak from the Alola region apparently. 'Maybe I'll travel there for a bit after this? Maybe there are more Pokémon who look different from normal there. I wonder if their typing changes any with those forms...'

Neve barely noticed Lock snapping at Hana and his companion half dragging him from the room. Idly she figured it was a good thing, Lock seemed to have a bit of a temper and she would rather not be in the same room as him while he was annoyed.

She snapped out of her thoughts as King mentioned room assignments being soon and asking if anyone had any special requests. Neve didn't need anything in particular, but perhaps... "A desk or a table if it's not to troublesome. Or just somewhere I can write. It would be much appreciated."

Request made, Neve than sat herself next to Nanami again, scooping up Nyx as she did so. The Zorua immediately snuggled closer to her trainer, yawning cutely as she decided whether or not to nap again. Neve ran her fingers through the Pokémon's fur as she settled in to observe what would happen next. 'I think I'll be able to write that letter now.'

Once his question was finally answered Alex's mouth turned slightly downward into something of a grimace. Who even was this Thresheild guy? He seems amazingly wealthy and influencntial, yet Alex has never even heard of him. Yet somehow he sees himself as fit to bring in champions as a form of personal entertainment? It didn't sit well with Alex and it was quite obvious that he didn't trust his generous host. Yet the prospect of a vacation after working so hard, and of course after being defeated once more, spending so long after that training to get stronger couldn't be ignored. Especially not when the other guests are such renowned trainers. His Pokemon could relax for a bit and he'd get the chance to battle the best of the best. Not an opportunity he could miss.

It didn't seem King was finished surprising them as he soon brought in four other trainers who apparently were working for. Some of them he had actually heard of, and for a moment Alex was impressed by the collection of Trainers King had brought together.

The first was Riza whom they had already met. Apparently she was one of the few people capable of controlling Lock. A great fear from what little Alex has seen of the ex-Hoenn champion. She was also known as "The Harpy" a name that rang several bells. Of course Alex didn't manage to place the name to the face he has heard of the girl before.

Next was a woman named Hana Anenokoji, a native to Kalos it seemed, and apparently a trainer who has never lost a battle. The prospect of a trainer so skilled, so powerful so as not to be beaten even once both excited, and terrified the young boy. While Alex was skilled enough to be a champion, and many people knew him as an overconfident and arrogant man, but even he had enough sense to realize that his losses furthered his strength. Alex had always thought that his losses has tempered his steel so to speak. To think that she has never lost it was nearly incomprehensible. It seemed however that Hana had an attitude to match her skill. She called him and everyone else trash. He was trash now apparently. it was enough to ball his fists in a rage. Thomas shot him a look of concern and was about to speak to his trainer but Alex boiling in rage and boldness would not listen to his friend.

Alex was only half listening, drifting in and out as two other trainers were introduced. He didn't pay much attention, though through the haze the boy named Jin seemed slightly familier. Apparently he was from Unova. For a moment Alex thought he had met the boy before though no concrete memories had surfaced as of yet. The only thing of interest from the final introduction was the man's name. Kai. He chuckled slightly. Alex was sure he would much prefer his Kai, his Meinshao to this shady looking fellow. These four were his Shadow Elite and Alex could only wonder as to the implications of this. What was the point? At the moment Alex wasn't so sure.

Once everyone was done speaking he directed his attention to teh Hana woman. "First I was forgettable, then I was second rate. Now I am apparently trash. I'm beginning to think I was brought here just so you people could look down on me. Let me tell you Little Miss God Complex, if we had crossed paths during my trek through Kalos you're flawless record would have been a bit more flawed." He was as calm as ever but the fire was deep within him as he spoke.

He would have continued, challenged the woman to a battle right then and there until King had mentioned special requests. He turned his attention away from the irritating woman and looked back at King. "If you don't mind I'd like access to the ranch as well. I have quite a few other pokemon that would enjoy some time here. That should be all though I shouldn't require anything else. That was all he felt the need to say as he waited for the room assignments.

Jewel Gem (Felicity Ono)

Felicity crossed her legs primly, and raised an eyebrow at Threshield. They weren't toys to be played with, but on the other hand, Felicity was willing to play his game. Especially given that she had no actual competitors. No, for the others this was a chance to feel out their possible future opponents, or to see what kind of talent might be following them. All for the titillation of a wealthy loon. For Jewel Gem, this was entirely an exercise in image and networking. A vacation to such an exotic locale, at the exclusive invitation of a fabulously rich eccentric was a perfect story for her branding. With no press present, she could make up whatever she wanted people to believe about her stay, and it'd simply be her word against the other guests and Threshield. Now, Threshield himself may just have been able to--

Hang on. He'd almost called her Ono.

How in the hell did he know her real name? What connections did this man have? She schooled her face and tipped her chin up haughtily.
"Don't fret about it, I'll find... Diversions of my own." Such as finding out where Threshield had learned her real name, without a coordinator in sight. The detective seemed like the likely source, but he just raised more questions. Such as what on Earth did a rich eccentric want an information network for? Especially one so deep it required hiring ex police? And then there was the fact that Ruth worked for him. Did he know Ruth's name? Had he made the connection between them? Maybe he intended them to confront each other somehow. Maybe mend their relationship. But then, why should he care about their relationship, and that all presumed he even knew Ruth worked for him, which seemed unlikely.

"Near a beach and a view, if that's possible." She announced with clipped tones. After all, so much of her image was of a woman of the sea, and she had appearances to preserve.

Ruth Ono

"Hey, Ruth! Come and take these to the hilltop apartments, would you!" A voice called from the side of the steps. Ruth nodded and jogged over to the maintenance workers, a middle aged man whose name escaped her, and what she was pretty sure was his son. Between them, they held up a couple of stone statues of mid-sized water type pokemon, meant to go alongside the paths around and up the hills. A goldeen, a floatzell, a vaporeon and a seadra. Before Ruth could grab one though, Derek reached past her and took the goldeen and the seadra. Oracle sniffed at the stone pokemon curiously.
"I'm headed the same way, I'll walk with you." He explained, though he didn't look her in the eye as he did. Ruth smiled fondly, and gratefully. Honestly, Derek could be too kind sometimes. She grabbed the vaporeon and the floatzell, tucking the vaporeon under one arm.
"Alright, but switch with me, I think you've got the heavy ones." She said. Derek shook his head.
"Nah, these are lighter than they look." Ruth wasn't sure she believed him, but let the subject drop. She'd ask again later, when he'd lost some momentum in his decision.

King Threshield

King listened to the request of his guest, some of them were quite simple and were already standard accommodations, so nothing too special. Alex and Jewel, on the other hand, had special request both of which could be easily done. Well Ms. Bennett and Ms. Haruna those are things standard for me, You can also use any PC on these islands to access any of the Pokemon storage systems if that is what you use. As for you Mr. Rhodes and Ms. Gem, I would go catch up with Ms. Valentine and Mr. Everett as Aria is the best island to fulfill both of your requests. Our beachfront properties are be worked on after a few accidents, but Aria is full of beautiful ranches, some even have nice lakefront houses. The lake should do you well for any pictures you may want to take Ms. Jewel. King smiled at all of his guests as he began to turn around and walk back through the doors he came in from, the shadow elite following behind him. Be sure to enjoy the islands, my dear guest. The fun is just about to begin, understand one thing though that there are areas for battling all over each island, be sure to use them when the challenge each other as those battle should be broadcasted for the rest of us to enjoy. One of the maids will show you to your rooms just wait here, they will be here soon. King said as the doors closed after the shadow elite walked through as well.

The Shadow Elite and King sat in a study surrounded by books and such. I Have more guest soon, I would like that they go unseen by those we all just met. Especially Ms. Haruna she could be a problem if she caught eyes of some of them if that is okay with you Mr. Threshield. Hana will be accompanying me to the meetings, I hope that you two can keep these "elites" company while Hana and I handle the business we need to. Riza and Jin shook their heads in agreement and King smiled. All of them knew that Kai's information network often ran through the underworld sometimes, as it would be the only way to get some of the information they had. Jin you should have no problem getting your challenges I have got the gifts that you had asked for, they are in your room. King said as Jin nodded in agreement again. Kai I will assume as usual your guest will keep their outside business off the islands? Kai responded with a smile and a nod. Good then we will be starting a great and fun event. King said with smile.

Not too surprising, King agreed to all of their requests, regardless of how extravagant or odd as it may be. She expected their host to be hospitable but not "that" hospitable. He didn't even ask as to why Kei asked to access their archives. Good thing or bad thing? Kei wasn't sure yet.

"Thank you." She replied with a nod as a gesture of gratitude. It seems the rest of the requests has been satisfied as well. For a moment, her mind wandered over to the Shadow Elite, particularly the one King introduced as the "detective". Eventually, she decided against it as it is too much trouble to think about. She was still a little tired from the day's events plus, she wanted to see what the island was like. Their host told them about battling areas scattered all over the place. Pretty elaborate for just a vacation setup.

She heard King mention about the ranch being on a separate portion of the island. She wondered just how much of these lands belong to him. Looking around the place didn't seem like it was going to be easy either.

"Hmm... I don't think I'll be able to look into all this just by myself." Kei thought of asking the other Trainers to keep an eye out but...most of them don't really look the type who'll listen to her. Lock, Sophie, Alex and the coordinator Jewel Gem were departing for Aria so they were out. That leaves only Neve and Nanami who, fortunately, looked friendly enough.

"Ms. Bennett and Ms. Sadamatsu, care to take a walk around the island with me? We could check out these recreational facilities our host prepared for us." Kei asks the two remaining girls as she walked on over to their place, after she took off the black coat and tie she wore and stuffed them in her bag. "After you have brought your luggage over to your rooms of course."

"Be sure to enjoy the islands, my dear guest. The fun is just about to begin, understand one thing though that there are areas for battling all over each island, be sure to use them when the challenge each other as those battle should be broadcasted for the rest of us to enjoy. One of the maids will show you to your rooms just wait here, they will be here soon."
Nanami stretched a bit- careful not to hit anything beside her, except Ayato of course- and pinched the Feraligatr's snout again. Ayato let out a protesting groan, his tail swishing behind him. It seemed like a lot of people wanted to use the ranch- Alex and Mr. Rabid Feraligatr Man were among some of them. Not like Nanami needed it- the Pokemon in her PC Box would be better off in the box rather than roaming the wild. Especially not the two rowdy Forces of Nature. She had restricted them once, she wasn't quite willing to restrict them again...yet.

Still, seems like everywhere on the island could be a potential battle area, and what's more, the battles would be broadcasted! That would have been a good thing, unless you were battling just to settle a very tiny argument, like who gets the last slice of pizza or something. Nanami knew she was most likely to challenge someone just for that kind of thing, but right now her Pokemon were tired and Ayato looked like he was almost going to fall asleep on her lap. She smiled a bit and returned the dozing Feraligatr to his Pokeball. "You can go take a nap when we get to our rooms, you dumb chomper." She murmured to the Pokeball half-heartedly and tucked it into her coat again.

"Wonder who else would want a stroll? Maybe I should let them rest today." Walking around without a Pokemon by her side was something Nanami had grown accustomed to, but there were still times where she missed the familiar figure of a Feraligatr or a Blaziken walking alongside her or behind her whenever she went pretty much everywhere. Having participated in Professor Elm's walking Pokemon research, she had grown used to the sight. To take her mind off the strange feeling, she decided she would just think of what she would do the moment she got to her room.

Obviously, taking off her coat was one thing. It may have provided a good blanket of sorts for the earlier journey, but if the sun grew hot later on it would be hard to explore. Maybe she should call Magenta and ask her for ideas. Due to the Dual Champion being lost in her thoughts, she didn't even see the most unexpected figure come around until she heard the voice.
"Ms. Bennett and Ms. Sadamatsu, care to take a walk around the island with me? We could check out these recreational facilities our host prepared for us."
Nanami looked up with a jolt- it was none other than Keiko Haruna, possibly the most unknown out of all of them. Seems like Nanami wasn't the first to not know her immediately- Mr. Rabid Feraligatr Man and Alex, again, did not seem to recognize her. The pink-haired girl kind of expected to be approached by others, but by the most mysterious person so far?

"After you have brought your luggage over to your rooms of course."
Nanami paused for a moment, then grinned. "Sure, I'm in! I don't think I got anything better to do." She added a sheepish laugh- true enough, she had nothing better to do. After all, exploration would do her good, too. She could see which were the best battlefields that would benefit the overwhelming power and physical prowess of her beloved team. If there was one lesson her friends had always drilled into her head, it was the environmental advantage clause. Plus if Neve agreed, she'd get to hang out with not only one but two mysterious, beautiful ladies! It was a winning situation overall for the Dual Champion and there was absolutely no reason to turn the offer down.

None of their requests seemed to be anything that King couldn't handle and without any hesitation he agreed to each one. Not surprising considering the amount of wealth this man possessed. Alex doubted that there was any request that wasn't in King's power to provide. The boy cast a suspicious eye at King, it still didn't make any sense to Alex, but for the moment he put it to the back of his mind. He was tired and could use a rest besides it be good to see the rest of his pokemon. Giest and Ronin he was sure would especially enjoy the island, though he was a tad bit concerned about his rowdy Cofagirus.

As he walked to the exit he remembered that Lock and Sophie were also headed to Aria, he was sure he could catch up to them but still kept his pace neutral. Spending time with the ex-Honen champion along with his champion attitude didn't not seem like a pleasant experience. So it was best to just deal with it on the island if it came to that.

As he walked he glanced at the coordinator Jewel Gem who was also on her way to the island Aria. Despite his total lack of disinterest in contests he actually had heard of the girl walking to the island. Even still he was content to walk to the dock in silence illicitaing a stern glare from Thomas as he walked alongside his trainer. Thomas had always been aware that Alex was not much of a people person. Even still this was meant to be a vacation, he should try to break out of his shell a little. "Perhaps you should talk to her on the way to the dock, or anyone else on the island really. Without being rude. Couldn't hurt to try and make some friends here." Alex could merely utter an audible sigh as he silently responded. I'd rather not, you know I'm better at talking to you and the others. Besides I have plenty of friends." Thomas could only sigh at this, or at least the best sigh that an Alakasam could give. It took him a moment to tell his friend that its important to forge relationships with people and pokemon. Or at the very least it couldn't hurt to try.

Looking over at Thomas he didn't even bother to respond psychically to tired for even that. "You know I hate it when your right.Regardless maybe I'l do it later. After we've had some rest and all." Thomas didn't say anything in response, the boy was at times far to stubborn to deal with, and besides theyd be spending plenty of time on the island. Plenty of chances for Alex to fix his attitude. As such the two of them contunyed onwards toward the dock not saying a word.

Lock Everett & Sophie Valentine

Lock and Sophie stood at the dock waiting for the whoever was to bring them to Aria. Lock had finally calmed down, he reached for his belt and grabbed two Pokeballs. Throwing into the air Azure and Aura came out and looked at Lock. I'm sorry Sophie but I am going to challenge that Hana girl. It has nothing to do with what she said though. I sat here and thought about it she may be the challenge I have been looking for. Aura and Azure I am going to be switching you two off the team, I need to bring the best team I can muster if I am going to be the first to end that woman's winning streak. I am going to leave Phanna there as well Sophie. Lock looked at Sophie with a serious look.

She could tell that he was serious and not angry like he was before she had never seen this side of him. It felt strange Lock had quit because of the lack of competition he had, but whoever this girl was has spurred his competitive spirit. You don't need to versus her though, there is an apprentice of an Elite Four member, a past champion of the Unova region, and the current champion of both Kanto and Johto. There are plenty of high-caliber opponents here, and even if you don't consider any of the other guests why not other members of this Shadow Elite. Ms. Blackwell is someone you consider a rival, you the person who think he is the best in the world. I have a bad feeling about her Lock, someone with her credentials should be known to the world but I have never seen her name or her face anywhere. While I believe you trust in Ms. Blackwell's choice in employer we know nothing about who this King Threshield is and if he has any ulterior motives for you all coming here. Sophie was looking at Lock she obviously bothered by the idea of Lock battling Hana, but before she could add more she could see Alex and Jewel were slowly approaching them, It seems like we won't be the only people on the island. Be nice to them, also I don't really get why you seem to dislike people like Mr. Rhodes and Ms. Sadamatsu aren't they exactly like you when you were younger. I mean even if you are better than them I would assume you helping them get better may make them at least competition in the future, not that any of them would want to learn from you after the entrance you had. Sophie said to Lock as she began to walk toward the other guests coming down the road. She waved to the others as they got a little close. Why hello you two, I guess you are heading to the same island as us. Sophie greeted the two with a smile Aura now standing next to her. Hopefully we can all learn to get along. I know my boss can be a little unruly let's not let that ruin this vacation time Sophie said as Aura sat next to her, while Azure flew next to Lock who was not paying attention to the others while sitting at the dock.

Ruth Ono

Ruth stopped at the top of the hill, and turned to look back. Sure enough, there was Derek, struggling a few steps behind her. She deposited her stautes, and went back to join him.
"You can't say I didn't warn you." She said with a smile. She grabbed the goldeen staue from where he'd momentarily set it aside. Her eyes widened. She gave Derek a side eyed look as she tested the weight of the statue.
"Lighter than they look huh?" She echoed.
"Ahhh wait no..." He said, between breaths. Ruth ignored him. Oracle fidgeted around the pair's legs. She set aside the goldeen for a moment and tested the seadra's weight as well. It too was exactly as heavy as it looked. Even Ruth was dubious about trying to carry both for any length of time.

"I mean, I appreciate the gesture, but you really didn't have to go to this much trouble." Ruth said. His breath returning, Derek waved off her concern.
"Nah, it wasn't a problem, Ru." As he said it, Ruth looked down at the pokeballs on her hip. She could maybe get Dug to help her with one of these. She glanced over at Derek out of the corner of her eye. He'd already come all this way, she didn't want to make him feel bad for not getting the whole way.
"I can't even carry both of these. And mine are already at the top, so... You take one and I'll take one?" She suggested. Derek seemed to brighten up considerably.
"Sure." He nodded and reached for the seadra. Thankfully this time, at least, he'd gone for the lighter option.

Jewel Gem (Felicity Ono)

So, on to the vacation, apparently. Or 'vacation' as the case may be, between the lack of calm from the trainers and Felicity's half-formed plan regarding Ruth. It had been a long time, and while they might never get to be anywhere near close, after everything, Felicity still wanted to at least know a little about how her sister's life was going. Felicity reached down and pulled the long handle out of her wheeled suitcase. As she and Pearl rose to leave, something niggled at her. That Akenokoji girl, and her bad attitude. It was one thing to be known for being ruthless, and act haughty to put those around you off balance. But that Akenokoji clearly bought into her own branding, which was a rookie's mistake if Felicity had ever seen one. Maybe not a combat rookie, but certainly a branding rookie.

She removed her sunglasses.
"Oh, and Mr Threshield, would you mind passing a message for me?" She leaned down to his eye level. "Tell miss Anenokoji that a good battle record only matters if one cares about anything so crass as battles, but a lack of appeal shows no matter who you are." And with a condescending pat on Threshield's shoulder, Felicity strutted out of the room. She straightened and perched her sunglasses back on her nose. She could practically feel Tigereye and Sapphire's judgement, even though they were within their pokeballs, but this was the way of Jewel Gem. The upper hand was a valuable thing worth keeping.

She caught up with the other trainers headed to Aria fairly quickly. She shook off her cold demeanour, and held her head high. Pearl followed her lead, raising her own head up to a proud height. She strode through, until she reached the dock. The breeze picked up again, and she reached up a hand to hold her sunhat on her head.

Neve nodded as King responded to her request. At least there would be somewhere she could write, she had a couple of ideas she wanted to get down onto paper while she could still remember them. Absently, she tugged a notebook out as King and his shadow elite left, her gaze tracking their movements until the door closed before she turned her attention to scribbling down her thoughts. She wanted to at least start on the letter to her brother, though she didn't expect to make much progress since King had mentioned that someone would be along shortly to show them to their rooms. Still, anything was better than nothing.

Brother,

I think this will be a nice change of pace. You probably remember the invitation I got, well I'm there now and it seems like it will be an interesting stay, even if not exactly as relaxing as I had thought it might be.

"Ms. Bennett and Ms. Sadamatsu, care to take a walk around the island with me? We could check out these recreational facilities our host prepared for us." Neve paused in her writing, blinking a couple of times as she looked up at the person who had spoken. Silver hair and yellow eyes certainly made for an interesting appearance, though her own appearance could be considered unusual as well.

'King referred to her as Ms. Haruna, right? Though given that he used my last name that is probably hers as well...' Neve barely caught her next comment about taking the walk after they had brought their luggage to their rooms and a quick glance around showed that whoever was supposed to take them there had yet to appear. Still, a walk seemed like a good idea.

After hearing Nanami's quick agreement, Neve inclined her head slightly with a smile. "A walk to learn the layout of this place could be useful, it would certainly prevent us from getting lost in the future. Or as lost as we may get at least." And some fresh air before she settled in for a writing session would probably do her some good, otherwise she may end up in her room without break for hours.

Briefly she glanced down at the start of her letter and cringed slightly, already wanting to rewrite the whole thing. Drawing a line through the lot, she put the notebook and pen away again before scooping up Nyx and hugging her. "Anything in particular either of you are wanting to find or are we just going to see where we end up?"

By the time they had reached the docks, Jewel was left slightly behind them, Alex's insistence on keeping his socializing down to a minimum spurred his legs to move quickly. It didn't take Alex long to reach the dock, and unsurprisingly there stood Lock Everret and his assistant Sophie. Alex took the time to admire the creature flying around Lock. It seemed magnificent, and was obviously a rare pokemon of Legend. He knew of it as a Latios, having read about them in books, though he had never imagined he'd see one. With an obvious grimace he walked closer to the docks, and unfortunately closer to the other pair. Clearly Lock's attitude was deserved, he was The legend Hunter, it showed, and though being around such an accomplished, though pompous individual gnawed away at the boy's pride, there was a small amount of awe stuck between the irritation, and anger inevitably drawn out by the man's very presence.

Upon noticing his approach Sophie had come to greet them, Alex however didn't bother with much of a greeting of his own. Though he did manage a small non-committal wave. Thomas however simply stood by watching, casting an occasional glance at the Lucario standing beside Sophie"Unruly is one word to describe him, though I could think of a few more."Alex would not admit that some of these were words such as "powerful", "legendary", and "The perfect obstacle to overcome."

He eyed Thomas for a moment, not exactly interested in a psychic reprimand looked back at Sophie and continued to speak, albeit with a drawn out sigh."But I'll keep those to myself in order to keep things quiet. With that he decided not to say anything more, and merely waited where he stood waiting for the boat to arrive and take him to Aria.

Lock Everett & Sophie Valentine

Lock sat on the dock looking out to the water, Azure rested beside him drooping his head near the water. I'm sorry old friend but I can't bring you to a battle with that girl. I need to bring a team that will have options, and having both you and Scarlet on my team will be a big mistake. I will make a promise to you now Azure, once we leave these islands I will find Latiosite for you. Lock pet Azure's head and Azure lifted it up from the water You are just as strong as Scarlet is Azure, you may even be stronger that her at sometimes, I won't allow you to mope because I found something to boost your sister's strength. You have always been one of my most loyal and powerful companions, and I will make sure you feel that you are once this vacation ends. As Lock comforted Azure a large yacht with a rather old man pulled up, the old man smiled at the group.

You kids must be Mr. Threshields guests, You all heading to Aria I assume seeing as the other to aren't really suited for fancy guest like yourself. Well, hop on let's get going while we got the chance. These seas like to act weird with all the weird weather stuff on the Islands. Lock got up and Azure flew over to Sophie who was greeting the other guests. Azure nudged Sophie to get her attention to see that their ride had shown up. Oh! It seems like our ride is here, well I hope things can be kept calm on the island. Sophie began to run back with Aura before quickly turning around and running over to Alex and whispering, You know that you and Lock are more similar than you two would agree on. There is no fault in getting help from a much more experienced trainer. He may be rough around the edge but Lock is still one of the best trainers Hoenn and potentially the world has ever seen. Sophie began to run toward Lock, Azure, and Aura. The group of four got on the rather large yacht. Wow! All this for four people and some Pokemon, I can't wait to see what the ranches look like. The old man laughed as he tugged the horn to signal the other guest to get on the boat.

"Sure, I'm in! I don't think I got anything better to do."

The Johto regional champion agreed to accompany her around the island. Kei nodded and extended a hand to her as a friendly gesture. "Thank you Ms. Sadamatsu. I've heard about your exploits by the way and I must say, I am rather impressed."

"A walk to learn the layout of this place could be useful, it would certainly prevent us from getting lost in the future. Or as lost as we may get at least."

Likewise, Neve Bennett agreed to the excursion too so Kei also extended her hand to greet the other girl. "You make a fair point Ms. Bennett. Pleasure to meet you as well. I don't know several people who can pull off a monotype offensive barring the regional Elite Fours and leaders the way you can."

Somehow, she was able to form an entourage of her own consisting of those who stayed behind on the mansion. The ranch on the island King called Aria seemed interesting though. They might need to check it out soon as well, assuming there's a route they can take on foot. The boat's probably left at that point plus, with over half of the visitors there, the place is rather crowded right now.

"Anything in particular either of you are wanting to find or are we just going to see where we end up?"

"Well, I don't have any place I want to go to for the sole reason that I do not know anything about this place yet. That's what I want to see though. And I want to see just how "private" these islands are." Kei answered back. "Maybe they've prepared special sites just for Trainer battles and contests. It might be a good idea to check them out. For you guys at least."

"Well, I guess I'll see you down here after a while? We should get our stuff up in our rooms before we leave. Later." Kei gave the two a slight bow as she exited, following an assistant up to her room.

"Even if it's just the standard accommodations...this is on a whole different level." Kei was legitimately surprised upon seeing the room she was assigned to. The furniture all looked expensive and it seems she was lucky enough to get a room with a balcony with a nice view of the ocean. As requested, she should be able to get some good signal in that area.

"Thank you. I'll let you know if there's anything else." Kei thanks the person who assisted her before she proceeded to sort out the things she carried, which isn't much. Apart from clothes and toiletries, all Kei brought with her were some reading materials and her laptop. After sorting out the clothes in their respective drawers, she took her laptop out to check the island's signal strength.

"Guess King stayed true to his word--hmm?" Immediately upon checking her e-mails, there was one that came from the office just a few minutes after she had arrived on the island. Before she can even open it though, her notifications went off, informing her of an incoming video call which she immediately opened.

"Having fun on your little escapade? Don't worry, you're not in any trouble. I just want to know why you did not tell me about this beforehand." The stoic visage and almost expressionless voice of her employer greeted her upon boot up.

"Huh? I was certain I filed a vacation leave before I left...Maybe it hadn't been entered in the system yet? Do you mind checking on your end?" Kei found the little detail odd while she lifted the laptop and took it out on the balcony where she continued the conversation.

"Hmm...that might be the case. Maybe I should stroll down to the station myself."

"Yeah, you do that then. By the way Arius?"

"What?"

"Do you know anybody from the IPO? Detectives, undercover agents and stuff? Particularly ones that have been involved in any of the major cases we've worked on in the past couple of years?"

"Why do you want to know about that?" Arius asks, his cold expression never breaking for just a single moment.

"Nothing. I just met someone."

"Hmm...well, I do not know anyone by name. Couldn't really care either way. But sure. I'll look into it--when I feel like it."

"Thanks. Oh, and one other thing. Do you mind if I borrow some assets?"

"What for? It's not like you have a case to work on right now."

"I'm in an island with some of the best Trainers around the world. Let's just leave it at that. Besides, they're still technically my assets."

"Fine with me. It might take a while to clear this though."

"Thanks. Well, I have to go. Got some people waiting for me downstairs." Knowing Arius is just the type who shuts off his PC after something like that, Kei didn't bother bidding him a proper goodbye as she walked back inside the room. Seeing that it might be a long walk, she changed into something more comfortable before heading out, taking three of her Pokemon with her.

She waited down at the lobby where she asked to meet up with the two. She decided to re-read the invitation and a small tabloid she found on the side while she waited, trying to kill time while learning more things about the island as far as the information made public was concerned.

Nanami Sadamatsu
"Time to go exploring!"

"Thank you Ms. Sadamatsu. I've heard about your exploits by the way and I must say, I am rather impressed."

"Flattery? Aww, she shouldn't have!" Glad to see that Neve decided to tag along as well, Nanami stood and instinctively brushed at her skirt- though it wasn't necessary, considering Ayato didn't have fur. Seems like they'd most likely be just wandering around for the time being- not like any of them have been here before, and Kei's offer to check out the specialized Pokemon battle areas was something Nanami appreciated a lot.

"Well, I guess I'll see you down here after a while? We should get our stuff up in our rooms before we leave. Later."
As Kei made her exit, Nanami stretched a bit. "Well, I should also be going. Unpacking all the stuff I have is gonna take some serious work!" Moving away to follow another assistant to her room, Nanami tossed a small wave over her shoulder as she left.

"Whoa--!" She knew this place was going to be high-class, but she didn't expect it to be this high-class. At least, to a commoner like herself. Once the assistant had gone, Nanami sighed, eyed her luggage and then looked towards the belt where all of her Pokemon were. Removing her scarf and the choker that held her Key Stone, she picked off a Pokeball from her belt and pressed the button.
"Yamato! Help me out!"
When the light had cleared, a tall, orange Pokemon stood. Nanami grinned at her Blaziken as it met her gaze, and with a faint motion of her hand the Fighting-type immediately got to work, moving to help out with the luggage.

Yamato certainly wasn't a Machoke or anything but it did get the work done relatively easily. By the time Nanami had gotten halfway through the stuff she was doing, the Blaziken had already been sitting nearby, observing her. She laughed a bit. "Guess I'm getting rusty, huh, boy?" She tossed a treat Yamato's way- the Blaziken easily caught it in its beak, and Nanami resumed her work. "Do you want to tag along with me or do you just want to sleep?" Hearing a tired grunt from the Blaziken- okay now she may have had a few fights back on that ship...-, Nanami laughed. "Guess not, huh? Fine." She returned her Blaziken to its ball and stretched, looking at her work. "...I'll just finish up later or something."

The Dual Champion returned to the lobby, finding Kei already waiting there. She gave a friendly wave, approaching. "Hey there! Sorry if I took some time, but at least I managed to find out that Blazikens help a lot with moving stuff around."

Kai Kisaragi & Hana Anenokoji

Kai and Hana began to leave the study where they had been discussing the plans, Mr. Threshield, I would like to make a request. You allow those young masters and that rabid animal Lock Everett to know the strength of Hana here. I couldn't be the only one to sense to hostility from that group with her refusal to acknowledge them. I say we have a tournament with the four us, Ms. Bennett, Ms. Sadamatsu, and Mr. Everett. People like them won't relax anyway whether they battle each or use our archives to assist them, none of them will be on a true vacation. King sat in his chair looking at the others, I like the idea. I will think about a tournament, but Hana my dear I will need you to take each of your matches seriously if we good through will this. Hana nodded in agreement as her and Kai began to walk down the hallway, Let's leave through one of the side doors to avoid any noisy guest Lady Anenokoji, and let me apologize for my familiar speech when with Mr. Threshield we must keep up appearances that we have only just met on the islands. Hana paid Kai no mind as the walked out the side door and down to a small private dock. As they got on the small motor boat and Kai started it up, she covered her ears. I apologized for the loud sound, but we can't take one of the yachts if we wish to remain unseen.

The boat began to move with Kai steering it toward Onna, the snow covered island to the north of Haven. Will we be meeting my father or my sister on Onna, or one of the others? Hana stared at Kai as she asked him the question. I don't know my Lady Hana looked toward the island as Kai answered her. She was barely paying attention to him now as they pulled up on the island. She looked out toward the tree and mountains and could see the myriad of ice Pokemon that populated the island. This was until one of the workers on the island came up to them, Ms. Anenokoji and Mr. Kisaragi your guest is waiting in the house over there, Master Threshield asked that I give you privacy in the meantime. I will return to Haven for an hour hopefully that will give you enough time to handle your business. They said as they got on a small speed boat and headed off toward Haven.

The two walked into the house and almost instantly upon entering Hana was consumed in the arms of the woman before them. Oh how I have missed you my sweet little Hana. Is Mr. Kisaragi watching over you? The Girl looks over at Kai. I hope you understand what my father will do if she answers negatively? Hana quickly spoke. No need to threaten him, Mr. Threshield and Kisaragi have treated me with nothing but respect. Mr. Threshield still doesn't seem to realize who we are and as long as Kisaragi controls the Threshield network we will be fine. Now Yuki why did you call us? Mr. Threshield has guests right now and these meetings may get the attention of a few of them if they see us coming and going from the island. Hana looked at Yuki, her long black hair tied in twin-tails as usual. Well then I guess there isn't a problem. Kai, you are to start the first phase of the plan, and it must be done within the coming weeks as Father is becoming impatient on waiting for you to do what you promised him you could achieve. Hana I shouldn't have to warn you on what would happen if you fail or disobey father again, and as for you Kai he will send you back to the same rat hole he found you in. Yuki looked at the two. Well I will be on my way now, make sure not to anger Father any more than you two already have, I am the one who has to deal with him. Yuki walked out of the house and began to walk to the other side of the island.

Well then Lady Hana, it seems we must expedite our plans while having a whole cast of problems. You are going to have to destroy them if Mr. Threshield is to actually have that tournament. Hana merely nodded her head as both her and Kai walked out the door and back to their speed boat. They both got in the speed boat, Hana covered her ears as Kai started it and sped back toward Haven.

Neve waited in silence for a few minutes after Keiko and Nanami took their leave. "Well, that was something." Shifting Nyx into her arms, she stood up and took a hold of her luggage before following the assistant to her room also.

She walked in silence, preferring the quiet to conversation and she took her time going over what had happened so far. Nanami and Keiko seemed like nice enough people, though honestly she was quite certain how she found the others yet. Meeting so many people at once was... Exhausting.

Neve was deep enough into her thoughts that she didn't notice they had arrived at her room until a timid "Uhh, miss?" snapped her from her thoughts.

Blinking a couple of times, she gave a slight bow along with a polite "Thank you." before slipping into the room and closing the door behind her. Slumping against the door slightly, Neve dropped her case on floor and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath before sighing. "I guess this is home for a while, huh Nyx?" The Zorua gave a quiet bark of agreement before wriggling out of Neve's arms and heading over to the bed, quickly making a nest out of the blankets and pillows before falling asleep.

Smiling in amusement at her friend's antics, Neve glanced down at her stuff before deciding she might as well make a start with unpacking.

~*~*~*~

Returning to the lobby a short while later, having left Nyx to nap in her nest, Neve found that Nanami and Keiko had arrived already. "My apologies, were you waiting long?" Giving a slight bow as well, she then straightened up and fixed a small smile onto her face. She was looking forward to exploring this place some.

Jewel Gem (Felicity Ono)

Felicity looked up as a yacht pulled over to the pier she and the trainers stood on. A jovial seeming old man welcomed them aboard, onto the fairly lavish ship. Carpeted floors, a fridge and wide floor to ceiling windows. Felicity just barely stopped herself from gasping, and moved to look out the window with carefully measured steps. She wouldn't admit to it, but yes, she agreed with Sophie on how impressive the yacht was. As she peered, she noticed the captain side eyeing her from the ship's wheel. She turned to face him with a raised eyebrow.
"Any opinions on her, Miss Gem? I hear you're something of a sea dog yourself." He said. Darnit, Felicity really needed to get around to learning more about ships, if people who actually worked with ships were going to ask about it. Reporters she could usually fool, but an actual sailor? Not easily.
"Dog?" She echoed back at the sailor with a slightly sour expression. The sailor back-pedalled awkwardly.
"Ah, apologies, Miss Gem, I meant no insult." He said.
"Don't worry about it, but I'd prefer not to be referred to as a dog in future, thank you." She said in clipped tones. There was a moment of awkward silence.
"You know, my daughter's a fan of yours. D'you think I could get her your autograph, Miss Gem?" Success. Bullet handily dodged, Jewel Gem put on her best winning smile.
"Oh, of course." She replied. She took a scrap of blank paper sitting nearby, and put down the quick scribble and small star that served as her official signature. A fast signature served her well, given the number of times she'd been asked for one like this, on the spot.

A thought occurred to her as she handed the autograph to the captain.
"Say, Captain, do you know a girl who works here called Ruth Ono?" She asked. She lowered her voice slightly, to avoid the notice of the trainers. The captain blinked in confusion at the unexpected question, and scratched at his greying beard.
"Ruth Ono? The tall lass with the lairon? Aye, she works here." He answered.
"Does she only work on the main island?"
"No, no, she has a tropius that carries her between them all. Usually volunteers to be the ranger's taxi service." The captain shrugged. "Derek's absol might be able to smell a storm coming ten miles off, but she can't really get him there on her own."
"Derek?"
"Derek Franco, Threshield's hired on ranger. Looks after the reserve." Felicity hummed in acknowledgement. Someone else to ask at least, in regards to her sister's lifestyle. On a whim, she removed her sunhat and perched it on the panel the wheel protruded from.
"For your daughter. I have more." She stated. He thanked her, and she turned away, satisfied with her conversation.

AS the ship made contact with the dock Alex breathed a sigh of relief and wasted no time to board the vessel. Though he was of course stopped in his tracks as Sophie approached him and whispered in his ear. [b]"You know that you and Lock are more similar than you two would agree on. There is no fault in getting help from a much more experienced trainer.""

Alex could only blink in astonishment as the girl made her way to the ship the Lucario right on her heels. Him similar to Lock? The very thought, the very nerve of such a notion was enough to turn his stomach inside out and sideways."Ridiculous." He shook his head slightly trying to push the thought from his mind though he couldn't ignore the subtle, though smugly teasing grin Thomas was sporting.

He spoke audibly to the pokemon with an upturned chin and a teasingly friendly tone."Oh. I bet you heard that. Don't look at me like that." This was one order the pokemon could not obey and indeed even let out a small laugh at his trainer's expense. "Come on you have to admit she does have a point. You both have your pride and a terrible attitude.."

"Stop saying ridiculous things. Maybe I should put you back in your ball. You must be tired running your mouth like that." Despite his words he couldn't resist a slight chuckle at his friends expense and together they made their way to the boat. Once they were on the vessel they took a spot near the railing and gazed out as they sailed. The ocean seemed vast and Aria was closely on the horizon. They watched as the boat set sail, and the island they were currently on got slightly smaller. Alex wondered briefly what the ranch would be like and hoped at least that all of his pokemon would at least enjoy it there.

The Johto champion Nanami Sadamatsu was the first person to return back at the lobby where Kei waited. "Hey there! Sorry if I took some time, but at least I managed to find out that Blazikens help a lot with moving stuff around."

"No trouble Miss Sadamatsu." Kei answered back with a nod. Hearing about Nanami's Pokemon made her wonder what these Trainers have that she doesn't. They seem to befriend theirs easy enough to the point that they can assign them very trivial tasks like unpacking.

"My apologies, were you waiting long?" Neve Bennett arrived shortly afterwards. That makes their whole group complete.

"Not at all, Miss Bennett." Kei answered back. "Well, shall we get going?"

First on the stop was Haven. According to the guide Kei picked up in the lobby, it was primarily the "resort" part of the island. Weather here was rather mild and clear, making it suitable for rest and relaxation.

"So how do you handle managing a monotype team, Miss Bennett? I imagine it isn't very easy having to raise a team of Pokemon with shared weaknesses?" Keiko asks the Dark-type specialist as she looked around the resort. It didn't seem to have any special modifications of any sort, given the absence of heavy machinery around the area. Then again, any private business island worth its salt needed to have places like these, if only to garner interest in the non-battling public and to placate any activists or environmental groups.

"Which means, this area's probably the closest we can get to the original state of the island before Threshield franchised it." Kei noted the inference down in her head.

Lock Everett & Sophie Valentine

Sophie watched as they sped through the water, waves crashing around them. A few water Pokemon jumped in and out of the water, Gyarados, Mantine, Dewgong, and Sharpedo could be seen jumping and following the yacht. A herd of Lapras could be seen in the distance. Sophie looked as Azure was flying next to the boat as Aura sat next to Lock as they waited to arrive at the island. Lock seemed to be deep in thought as he sat there, he looked at Aura Well it is going to be fun to see everyone again, I haven't stopped home in quite some time and without you there I am sure some of the more wild guys are making Sophie's work harder. Lock made a small chuckle as Aura smiled back at him. She really has made things easier for me, having someone that all of you trust and listened makes it easier for me to travel the world. I mean even Azure and Scarlet like her, and all the other rather difficult Pokemon as well. The fact that Landorous and Terrakion like her so much is a big surprise me, since those two were difficult for even me.

The boat pulled up to the dock on Aria Well, this is it kids. Here is the relaxing island of Aria, if I had to say this is my favorite island of them all. Relaxing and comfortable. The old man laughed as he threw a Pokeball onto the dock and a Machamp popped out, the Machamp grabbed a rope off the side of the Yacht and pulled it in and wrapped it onto the dock. Ms. Valentine, I believe the luggage and such you left had already been placed in the largest ranch, I mean how many Pokemon to you two own to need all that room? Sophie smiled at the old man, as a small bridge was placed between the dock and the yacht, Ms. Gem and Mr. Rhodes they should be putting the finishing touched on your places as we speak. At the end of the dock, there were 3 people standing there each had a sign for the guest going to different houses. Well those three will be bringing you to where you will be staying, there will be an option on your computer to call me if you want a boat ride to one of the other island. Though you all would probably prefer to use your Pokemon to travel. The old man waved and smiled as the group left the yacht.

Sophie waved to the old sailor as she left the boat, Azure flying above and Lock and Aura in the back of the line. Lock also immediately walked toward the person with his and Sophie's name on the sign. Sophie stayed back in order to say goodbye to their short travel companions. Well, I guess this goodbye, for now, Mr. Rhodes, Sophie said to Alex, before looking over at Jewel. Ms. Gem, I hope we can all stay amicable while staying here. I'll do my best to keep Lock in line. Sophie said with a smile as in the background King's worker were taking pictures of Azure and Aura, and Lock was giving autographs. I mean at least he is nice to his fans, right? Sophie said as she began to run to Lock waving at Alex and Jewel. Sophie ran up to the Lock and three guides, Well, let's get going to our new home, I want to let everyone out as soon as possible. Hello, I'm Sophie. Sophie placed her hand out to the small girl holding the sign with Sophie and Lock's name on it. Hello, I am Natalia. I will be at your service while on this island if you need anything don't be afraid to ask. Let us head to the main ranch. Natalia lead Sophie and Lock to the ranch, the main house was rather big, much too big for the two of them at the least. This is usually used as our quarters for those who live on this island. At Mr. Threshield's request though we have all moved to small cabins elsewhere. Please don't think you put us out, the privacy is welcomed. Natalia was leading them around the house showing them where everything was. Ms. Blackwell is fond of staying here, which we were told you won't be seen as a problem. So you won't be the only two staying here if you were intimidated by the size of the house. The PCs are set up and connected to your server, it will be easy to transfer over all the Pokemon. Unless you need me for something I am going to head to my cabin and finish my unpacking. Sophie and Lock both nodded their heads. Natalia walked out of the house and down a small road.

Well, I guess I'll get everything set up and get everyone here. You should start to unpack I brought you some things so you aren't just buying new clothes and wearing them forever at a time. I am going to be getting everyone out here soon I mean over 50 Pokemon is going to take some time. I'll make some food after this for us and the Pokemon. Lock smiled as he walked upstairs and began to unpack. After sometime Lock finished unpacking his room, taking a shower, changing his clothes he walked downstair with a large collection of Luxury Balls on the table Sophie walked away from the transfer device with 3 more Luxury Balls, Well all done why don't we let everyone out, I am sure they are all excited to see you as much as you are to see them. Sophie and Lock started to throw the Luxury Balls outside on the field, the Myriad of Pokemon began to appear in the field ranging in rarity, size, and stage from some of Lock's most experienced Pokemon to some he caught mere weeks ago. It has been awhile since I have seen many of you, some we have only started to bond, but let's enjoy ourselves. Lock said to his Pokemon before him as his on hand team was behind him. The Pokemon joined the large group quickly, meeting of old friends and allies. Sophie let her Pokemon out as well, Sky, Stardust, and Taru quickly joined Lock's Pokemon in the field while Aoi stayed by her feet. Finally the vacation they came here for was about to truly start.

Seems like their first destination was Haven- the resort island. In other words, it was what Nanami would call the main island of some sort. And it did really seem like it.

Clear weather, and a nice breeze. Unlike any other areas, this place could almost remind the Dual Champion of home. Just walking with the two made her remember the days back at New Bark, rough-housing with the other neighborhood kids. Surprisingly, first to initiate conversation was Keiko, though she had asked Neve about how to manage a monotype team. Nanami hadn't asked a lot of her opponents that question, so she figured she would listen in before asking her own questions later on.

While waiting for the Dark-type specialist's reply, Nanami glanced around the area. Right now she kind of wished she had Yamato or Ayato or maybe even Karasu. She hadn't walked around in a while without her Pokemon. It kind of became a habit of her, no thanks to Professor Elm. The only people she had walked around this naturally with back at home was her traveling companions Raito and Magenta after all.

Still, this was looking more and more like a vacation. The breeze of the wind, the clear weather- she'd worry about the fighting tomorrow, she guessed. For now, she just had to relax.

Speech #4E277F || Thoughts #875BBF
Neve gave a small nod at Keiko's response before trailing after her and Nanami as they started their exploration of the islands. Haven was their first destination it would seem, the weather was nice enough and the lack of machinery meant it was likely quieter than some of the other islands. Honestly, Neve could see herself spending a lot more time here than on the other islands.

"So how do you handle managing a monotype team, Miss Bennett? I imagine it isn't very easy having to raise a team of Pokemon with shared weaknesses?" It was Keiko who asked the question and Neve mulled it over as she figured out the appropriate response to give.

"It has it's challenges, but it would be rather boring without them, no? Managing a monotype team means that I have to be aware of their weaknesses and come up with a strategy to handle them. Of course, we've lost a fair amount of times due to type disadvantage, but I believe I've learned something from each one."

Neve waited for another minute or so before continuing, a bemused smile lingering on her lips as she recalled some of their antics, and the chaos Ares usually sowed while trying to protect her. "Honestly when I started I was catching Pokémon for their personality, it just happened that they all turned out to be dark types. Still, I wouldn't trade them for anything."

Sweeping her gaze across the scenery once more, Neve idly wondered if Nyx was still asleep in her little nest or not before deciding to change the topic. "What sort of Pokémon do the two of you raise?" She knew a little about Nanami's team, having seen the Feraligatr earlier and from listening to Karen recount their battle, though whether she had any of those Pokémon on her team or not was something she didn't know.

Of course, by this point Neve was perhaps getting a little bored of Haven for now, although she wouldn't say such out loud.

Of course, we've lost a fair amount of times due to type disadvantage, but I believe I've learned something from each one."

"I see." Even though she was more preoccupied with looking around the island, Kei listened to Neve attentively. From what she can infer, even notable prodigies like Neve and Nanami experience difficulties when training. But that is to be expected after all. Aside from her skill, which is rather self-explanatory, Kei was more intrigued when Neve mentioned choosing her Pokemon based on their personality first and foremost.

"That's interesting. I suppose you've also ran into your fair share of troublemakers then? Haha, just kidding~" Kei let out a little laugh before turning her attention back on the surroundings, glancing at the two girls she's invited every now and then. Surprisingly, Nanami Sadamatsu was keeping quiet. Maybe a little too quiet.

"What sort of Pokémon do the two of you raise?" Neve suddenly asked the two as they were strolling around Haven.

"I've usually gone with ones that aren't too demanding to raise, Miss Bennett." As she spoke, Kei took out a Poke Ball to let Venusaur out for some fresh air, allowing the two other Trainers a glimpse of him. "Never really became a proper Trainer myself since I got some other things I wanted to do with my life. So I didn't really have the chance to interact with a diverse lot. Of course, I've already experienced issues with some of them in the past. Mostly with unruly ones we were required to raise or rescue." Kei almost smiled when she remembered training her Gyarados.

With her cursory check around Haven complete, Kei thought it best if they move on. She thought the two might be getting bored with the idyllic resort already plus, they could always come back anytime. She checked the guide again and saw that in addition to Aria and Haven, there were three more places to check out. Recalling Venusaur back to his ball, Kei turns to the other two.

"I think the remaining areas are the battle centers our host told us about. Onna, Taurn and Pandora. Basically cold, dusty and industrialized respectively. Which one do you guys want to check out first? I'm kind of leaning on checking Taurn, the sandstorm island first myself."

Jewel Gem (Felicity Ono)

Felicity smiled as she looked around at Aria, standing at the top of the gangplank. Rolling hills and a picturesque beach just down the way. She looked back down at the dock, to find a small assembly of workers, each holding a sign with the name of one of the guests on it. Felicity tossed her hair and strode over to a cheerful looking young man (more a boy really) holding a sign marked 'Gem'. Felicity noted that a camera hung around his neck, as well. A photographer, how handy.
"Ah, Miss Gem!" He greeted, with a nervous salute. "I'm Jacob, I'm going to be your aide while you're on the island!" Pearl moved to circle the boy, looking him up and down. Felicity, in turn, smiled so that the boy would be more focused on her than her aurorus.
"How thoughtful of Mr Threshield, to provide a photographer." She said.
"My dad takes the photos in his majesty's brochures." The smiled proudly, but then shook his head. "Anyway, it's this way to the lakefront house, Miss Gem."
"His majesty?" Felicity echoed, as she returned Pearl and started to follow the boy down the road.
"Oh, yeah, the workers all call Mr Threshield that as a joke."

The lakefront house was certainly very pretty indeed. Designed as though it were a hundred years old, and set behind a small, but impeccably maintained garden, with a small jetty stretching over the sparkling water of the calm lake. A gorgeous setting, befitting a girl raised in old money, that somehow felt both secluded and somewhat ostentatious. A classy old world show of wealth and power that was experienced by invitation only. Felicity could appreciate Threshield's flair, having this here.

Ruth Ono

Ruth laughed heavily at a crack Derek had made, as she moved ahead a little way to reach the slab for the goldeen statue to stand on. He looked like he was about to say something else when a sharp, professional looking woman approached with a clipboard. His mouth shut so fast it clicked.
"Ah, Ono, there you are!" Wait. Wasn't that... What on Earth was the HR manager doing here? Ruth set aside the goldeen abruptly and raised her hands, palms out.
"Umm, ma'am, I'm not sure what I did but I'm very sorry, I meant no harm..." Ruth started, but the HR lady cut her off.
"You're not in trouble. Three of Threshield's guests are staying on Haven, and somebody needs to keep them out of trouble." She stated in clipped, professional tones.
"I thought fishing people outta trees was my job?" Derek cut in.
"We've decided someone they've met might be better for looking out for these three. The problem children are all headed out for Aria, so we can just have one person following these three without a problem. Plus, Ruth has a flying pokemon. Are you amenable to that Ono?" She explained. Ruth shuffled awkwardly, but finally set the goldeen down on it's slab.
"I expect a very nice christmas card for this." She said. She started moving away, and waved over her shoulder at Derek with a smile. He waved back until the HR lady informed him of something and he made an odd squawking noise before bolting off into the woods. Ruth shrugged. Ranger business, she supposed.

She unhooked one pokeball from her belt and released Clover in front of her. The HR lady had given her no real indication of a rush, but she figured there was no time like the present. Clover made a happy sound upon seeing her trainer, and belt to nudge at her head. Ruth giggled and pushed her friend away.
"Now, now, we've got somewhere to be, Clover." She said. Clover's wings made the search for Threshield's guests the work of a moment. The group headed to Aria were easy to spot from the air, unloading off the ferry. The other three were a little harder, but still possible to find. Ruth nodded to herself, and nudged Clover to land nearby to them. On terra firma once more, Ruth approached. She slouched a little to make herself seem shorter. Clover pushed her head against the back of Ruth's shoulder, encouraging her to approach.
"Umm, hello again, I'm... Well, I'm Ruth Ono, as you'll recall. HR's asked me to come help you guys take a look around, if none of you mind." Ruth scratched at the back of her neck.
