Personality: Though Marcus hasn't had the easiest of lives, but he's better for it. He is mysterious to most but friendly to all who approach. He often walks through towns just to meet new people, but he likes to remain vague with people unless they recognize him.

Personal History/Background: Marcus received his first Pokemon at age ten, a Mudkip, in his home town of Lilycove City. He didn't set off on his Journey for another five years however. He remained in Lilycove to assist his parrents in running the Department Store. During that time he met many trainers and his Mudkip evolved twice.
On his fifteenth birthday Marcus set off on his journey, easily toppling gym leaders with his partner Swampert. When he got to the Elite Four a man gave him a gift. A Golett, a Pokemon from Unova. Just as Marcus was about to challenge the Elite Four, the Champion, Wallace, made an announcement. The next trainer to beat him would become champion. His victory was swift and decisive. Marcus was now the Champion of Hoenn. Marcus has been champion for years, and recently has decided to take a vacation and leave the Four to hold their own.

History: Blue was given to Marcus by his Mother. Blue evolved into Marshstomp during a battle against a trainer from Sinnoh and his Chimchar. He then evolved into Swampert when he was almost defeated by a Machoke in a heated battle between Marcus and a trainer from Kanto.
