Introduction
She greets you and says you fainted on your mission. What mission? She calls you by the name " Charles ". Who the hell is Charles? You state at her with a confused look. " Oh dear, you might have a bit of amnesia." she says. " Umm .. am I dreaming?" you ask her. She looks at you puzzled. " I am not Charles, and I am not a pokemon. " Wigglytuff laughs. " If you weren't a pokemon, how did you arrive in the pokemon world?" " I don't know..." She gives you a glass of water. Then she takes tests on you to see if you have any amnesia. She discovers you don't and you used to be a human. " Oh my!" she stutters. " This has never happened before!" " Is there a way I can get back home?" " Not that I know of." You start to panick. " What do I do?! Where do I stay? Where do I go?! Is this a dream?!" " Ill, tell you what, you can stay here at the center unroll you recover from your faint. Then, you're on your own." " Deal..?" you mummble. She drags you to a corridor. " Here is your bedroom." she states.
You see a meowth sleeping. " Here is James, he cleans the rooms. Huh? Oh hes sleeping on the job... JAMES WAKKKE UPP!" she shrieks. James wakes up surprised. " Get your butt to the next room!" James dashes to the room next door. Then you hop in your bed. You start having nightmares that you'll never go home. Finally, it is morning. A loud bell chimes through the halls that wakes you up. You dash to the lunch hall. They are serving breakfeast. You only take a tiny bit, since you don't really eat pokemon food. Another pokemon sits next to you. He/she and you chat for a while. " Wanna start a team?" he/she asks. You nod your head in confusion. You're tired, so you say yes anyway. The bell suddenly rings again, he/she drags you to the meeting room. A chatot flies to the speaker. Suddenly, he starts rehearsing a stupid song oath. The other pokemon join in. So,you do too. Then, he dismisses us to do missions. You're little friend drags you to the bulliten board. He selects a mission and then you 2 dash outside. This is where your adventure begins.

Crimson then added a bit about training and rest. Nothing major... did he mention dungeon? That right there caught Growls's attention. "How long till the dungeon?" Growls asked, following Crimson and Noko.
"Wait! N-no, Crimson, you've got this all wrong," he protested while he was dragged along, "I'm not a human! I was egg-born, like everyone else! And... you guys weren't?" He paused. "And we're going into another dungeon?" Another frightened pause, as Growls fell into step behind them. "And he's coming too?!"
Crimson could only smile. He may not realize it, but Crimson could easily tell that he was not Pokemon born. There was a certain unique trait humans turned into pokemon could not hide. Noko's timidness was his proof. Crimson's was intelligence. Growls was a little harder, but his intelligence as well as a little help from his far too obvious name had clued him in. He decided to drop the subject on humans because he knew Noko would just deny it constantly. He didn't remember and it could've happened while he was extremely young.
"Yes, we are going into another dungeon. That's why I suggest we get some rest and train some more before deciding to jump in to the next huge adventure. Don't worry about it. We will go when we're ready." That last sentence was directed to both Noko and Growls. He turned to Noko and whispered in his ears. "And you should be a little more polite to Growls. I'm not ordering you or anything, I'm just suggesting. I plan for you and Growls to be sparring partners until I get my situation under control and I'd rather you be helping each other rather than hurting." He stepped back a pace. "So, where's this hideout of yours, Noko?" he asked.
Out of nowhere, Crimson began to speak in a normal tone again, catching Growls completely off guard. It was something of a hideout. With Crimson's condition of type instability, that would be quite the good idea.
"Oh, well, it's not really a hideout. More like a hovel a little distance from the edge of town. It's pretty modest, but I think that it could accommodate..." he turned to look at Growls with his best peace-making face "...three?"
Well, I hope so," Crimson replied, jokingly. "I mean we don't want to leave me or Growls in the cold of the night, right?"
He chuckled before turning to Growls. "So are you a part of the Guardians or no?" he asked smiling, to show friendship.
((OOC: Short post is short...lol))
Well, that was a change in tone...Crimson thought. It must suck having someone betray you like that. That was the way he looked at the situation. Either way, Growls seemed to be handling it well. We just learn and move on...good philosophy to live by. Nobody was perfect, not him, or Noko, or Growls, and definately not the Shinx. And no one criticized another for their mistakes because we all are human.
Scratch that, we all are pokemon...he corrected himself mentally, smiling inwardly.
"If you don't mind me asking, what was the mission?" Crimson politely asked, his curiosity burning a hole in his pocket faster than a liquor addict with a twenty.
Ah, so that's why the rescue team didn't come...
Now he was answered that question and it made him feel better that they weren't just ignoring them and abandoning. He would've accused Growls of doing the same thing, but the fact that he was here helping out proved otherwise.
"Huh, interesting..." and that was all he said. He'd explain his little adventure with Noko later, when they could talk alone. It was then that he'd lay upon him what they were after when they went into the other dungeons.
If my calculations are correct...there should be six other dungeons we need to go into...all of them epically dangerous...YOLO...
He chuckled inwardly. "Lead the way, Noko," he called up to encourage him.
He nodded. "It's not far from here. In a little while it should be in sight." He hoped that they wouldn't be too disappointed when they finally saw the state of his "shelter". After a few minutes of trudging through light forest, Noko showed them to it: hardly more than a dull wooden shed with a chimney, backing onto a steep hill. Inside was a single chair, small table and a bit of brown rug. The fireplace looked makeshift, and nearly unused. "I know it's not very spacious, but I wasn't really expecting to have guests over," Noko murmured as he showed Crimson and Growls inside. "I'm sure we can all fit if I push aside some of the, er, furnishings." He looked deeply embarrassed.
FInally, they arrived. It was about the size of a shed with a chimney. It was definately, not the largest house on the block, but Crimson didn't care. Inside was some furniture: a chair, a table, and a rug, all about the size to match the house.
"I know it's not very spacious, but I wasn't really expecting to have guests over. I'm sure we can all fit if I push aside some of the, er, furnishings." It was clear from the tone and the look on his face that he was embarrased.
"There's nothing to be ashamed of, Noko," Crimson shrugged, honestly. "It nice, it's clean, it's tidy, it's cozy, and, best of all, it's small. No one is going to think anything of a small hut in the woods. It's the perfect hideout. I like it. Nice job." he smiled before moving the chair to a corner of the room, then conjured an ember and threw it into the unused fireplace. It ignited immediately, but he knew it wouldn't stay for long. "We need get some wood," Crimson annouced. "Growls, you and I can go take care of that. Noko, you can re-arrange the room to the way you see fit for it to be cozier. He walked out the front door, motioning for Growls to follow.
Growls then turned to follow Crimson out into the forest. Withing moments, Growls had picked up a large pile of branches from a tree that had said limbs torn off for one reason or another. "What do you want me to do with this pile of sticks?" Growls asked Crimson.
A few minutes in, Growls and Crimson had already grabbed a bunch of branches, ready to be put on the fire. "What do you want me to do with this pile of sticks?" he asked. Crimson thought for a moment before responding. "Let's work on your shelter first." He carried the sticks over to where the chimney was on the outside of the hut. He dumped the sticks to the side and began to arrange the sticks to make the house. "The trigger to my condition are those stones you find in dungeons. It's like an old car rusted out that needs a jump start. My jump start is the stones. I'd activated my Water power when I touched the Moonstone earlier today. No one feels a power surge like I did when touching a Moonstone for the first time. After that, I think it's some trigger with my brain that I have yet to figure out, but that's why we're here. Once I get it under control, we're going to head to where the next dungeon is: the one by the mountains. I believe I've heard rumors of a Rockstone being hidden there. I want to test my theory that I have more than just Fire and Water. I believe I can control more." He told this to Growls alone so that Noko wouldn't freak out about where they were going. Noko still had a lot of confidence building to go. He would tell him when the time was right."
Growls picked out a good pile of longer sticks that varied in length and weved them together into a small, makeshift shelter that caused Growls to stand back and look at it with a smile. It stood about as tall as Growls, and as wide and long as Growls, Crimson, and Noko standing side by side, with an entrance way about half the size of the shelter. The structure stood using about 8 supporting sticks in a half circle around the chimney, upon which are covered in a weave of varing sized branches. Inside the structure, it was dug slightly into the ground, about half a foot down, with a small spot in the back that was about the size of Growls that stood about a full foot above the floor of the structure. Growls had also managed to make a shelf next to the sleeping area.
Growls walked out to the remaining pile of sticks. It looked to be about enough to last 1 or 2 nights, but no more than that. "Ok, I'm done." Growls announced.
After a couple of difficult minutes spent trying to rearrange the table and chair neatly into one corner, he stopped and took a second to rest. His eyes fell on the fire that Crimson had lit with his embers. He didn't get a proper chance to teach me how to do it, but maybe I could use fire if I really tried. I've got to get him to practise with me again.
The sound of sticks clattering against the wall told him that Growls and Crimson had returned. He cleared as much floor space as he could and left the hut to see the new shelter. It was remarkably well built for such a quick job. "That's really impressive," Noko said honestly, "but are you really sure you don't want to sleep inside? I made some space by the fire and everything."
Indeed, it would be. But there was only one way to find out who was right: to get ready for the dungeon to encounter. "That's really impressive," Noko commented. "But are you really sure you don't want to sleep inside?" It was clear he still was focusing on the condition of his house, but it really wasn't bad at all in Crimson's opinion. He didn't need a sprawling mansion equipped with unlimited food and people to wait on him. He preferred the simple life.
"I think it's just a growlithe thing, but I like to build where I sleep," Growls responded, politely.
"Noko, it really isn't a bad hut. I know you're worried on the condition of it, but don't worry about it. I honestly appreciate the house." Crimson added in, sincere and honest. He clapped his hands together. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I think we should go to bed. The sun's already down and I don't know about you two, but I'm beat. It's been a long day. G'nite!" he cheerfully said, then walked over to the rug where the fire was at, curled up, yawned with the comfort of the fire in front of him, and went to sleep.
He turned and headed back inside the hut. Crimson had already settled down on the rug, enjoying the fire and apparently already starting to drift off. "Hey, that's my spot," Noko complained. "Maybe I should've got you to sleep outside with Growls," he added when he was sure the Chimchar was asleep. He shrugged off his gathering rucksack and squeezed himself between Crimson and the fire, curling up with a yawn. The combined warmth of Crimson's tail and the fireplace lulled him into sleep within a minute.
Crimson opened his eyes, blinking, taking in his surroundings, that earworm of a litanty swirlng inside his head. He was still at the hut. It was cooler, meaning that the fire had burned out. He quietly sat up and re-lit the fire, making sure that he didn't wake up Noko, who was still sleeping. Growls was probably doing the same thing.
A surprising typical morning for an un-typical life Crimson was beginning to lead...
He looked around for breakfast and wasn't surprised to find no food in the small house. No matter. He would go get some. He left the house, the sun shining into his eyes as he silently closed the door, careful not to wake up Noko and Growls. He then snuck off, following the prints they had left the day before to get here. He left a more noticeable trail of sticks that pointed the way. From there, he made his way to the clearing and then to the marketplace.
Even at eight o' clock, the place was alive and bustling. People were buying food and equipment to use for their day's journey. Crimson bought a bunch of varieties of fruit: Mangos, Bananas, Pineapple, Apples, Oranges, Papayas, and much more. It used up all his currency, but it would last the group of three for about a week. He then followed the newly created trail back to the house. He placed all the food on the table and sat down in the chair, waiting for Noko and Growls to wake up.
Growls then rolled the mud ball up to his hut and spread the mud all over the hut, then hitting it with fire to bake it into place.
"You know it!" Crimson called back, throwing a sweet peach at Growls to catch before taking one himself. He took a bite. Sweet...as expected, he thought. "So you waterproofing your house?" he asked, curiously.
((OOC: Extremely short post. I guess we wait for Noko...))
Noko's awakening was slow; the events of yesterday had been exhausting, and the hut didn't have any windows to let the morning sunlight in. After blinking his bleary eyes a few times, he saw that the fireplace was empty save for the last dying embers in its corners. He rolled onto his side and stretched slowly. The hard floor had made his back stiff.
An assortment of smells drifted to his nose and gave Noko all the encouragement he needed to face the day. He pushed himself up and spotted Crimson sitting at the table in the corner, with a hoard of food spread in front of him. "Good morning," Noko piped up, surprising himself with his own enthusiasm. Bouncing over to the table, he grabbed an apple and tucked into it. Through the slightly open door, he caught a glimpse of Growls with what looked like mud on his paws. Don't ask, it's too early in the morning, he told himself. "So, what are we doing today?" he asked brightly.
