Setting

A beautiful cliffside city, in the northwest area of the region. Its lands are covered in flowers with a giant variety of colors, and is often referred to as Arceus's Gardens. The people of the city are good to take care of the area the best they can, and the Pokémon Professor stationed there in her lab does much to help with that. Despite the city's constant chaos with tourism and other things, they still manage to keep the place in good shape.

To the south of Prunella lies Route One.

Pokémon Professor's lab located in Prunella City. It's completed with four floors, one basement, one floor level, and two upstairs. The floor level includes a welcoming desk, and a waiting area, usually for visitors. To the back, past the desk, is stairs up to the second floor, which includes several rooms, one research, another to hold Pokémon (like starters), and one filled with computers for researching the region, like weather and other things. The top floor is where Wisteria and her family stay, as their home. The basement is a storage type area for all of Wisteria's research. Professor Wisteria researches and studies things there, but for the most part, she's actually known for traveling around the region instead. She's pretty bad at staying in one spot for too long unless there's something important going on.

Located in the northeast area of Prunella City.

No, Augustus hadn't slept well last night at all. He'd tossed and turned, unable to even get a hint of rest for the what he would consider one of his biggest days. He'd stared at the ceiling, gotten on his computer and looked through things he should expect, prepare for, and know for probably the fiftieth time, talked with a couple of his old friends online, went through all of his notebooks with the notes and notes and notes of information and other tips he'd received from several of the neighbors he had here in Prunella, as well as a couple from the Professor herself...at least, when she had time. He'd even gone through his bag a couple times to be sure everything he needed was there. By five in the morning, Leo had come upstairs to his room, half asleep.

"What...what are you doing?" The doctor questioned, rubbing his eyes as he tried to wake up so he could get ready for work earlier than usual, due to the fact that he was being allowed a two hour leave to let his brother off on his new journey. "It's five in the morning..." He let out a yawn, before walking over to the side of August's bed and sitting down, though he flopped back and started dozing off again

"Oh! Uh, couldn't sleep, I'm kind of nervous." August said, looking down at the ground in embarrassment. "I've waited a really long time for this...and it's finally here, yet now I'm starting to get cold feet." He gave a quiet laugh that drifted off after a moment, leaving a heavy silence in the room as the two both thought for a moment.

Leo was the one who broke the silence, "you aren't letting everything that happened in our family and in Asphodel Town get to you now, are you?" He sat up, looking over at his younger brother, though August gave a small shrug.

"I don't want to think I am, but...it's finally here and it just feels too good to be true." He brushed a hand over his eyes, blocking off the tears that were starting to form before his face went red at the idea of crying over it. "I feel like I'm going to wake up any minute and be back..."

Leo let out a sigh beside him and shook his head, before patting him on the back, swinging an arm around his shoulders and leaning forward. "Don't worry so much. You've made it this far anyways, you can't turn back now. I mean, god, you've put so much work into this. You can't actually want to just give up now!"

A smile formed on August's face, and he let out a weak laugh. "You're right, you're right." He said, shaking his head.

Leo ruffled the teen's hair and grinned. "I'm always right, you know that." He replied, standing up from the bed and looking back at him. "Try to get some rest, will ya? I'll be home in a couple hours so that we can send you off. See you soon."

That left August alone in his room again, but this time, he was relaxed, and it didn't take him long to fall asleep on his bed with a calmed mind.

Leo was home not much later, and was quick to wake him up, shaking him a couple times and then pulling August out of his bed, before dragging him downstairs to have a breakfast while his brother went through all of his things to make sure as his guardian, that he really was set for the days ahead of himself. Once he was finished with that, and August had managed to get food into his nervous stomach, Leo handed him money that would last him quite some time, for sure. He was hesitant to accept the large sum, but his older brother wasn't about to let him go out without some kind of way to buy food and new supplies when they ran out.

"Be sure to keep in touch, call me occasionally when you get the chance, all of that stuff, okay? If you ever need anything, let me know, and I'll have it coming your way in no time." He let out a laugh. "I feel like a proud mom."

August let out a laugh at that comment, before heading for the door, with Leo behind him. As he opened the door, he tuned back around, and Leo, being the way he was, was quick to give him a firm hug. "Be safe, yeah?"

"I will. Thanks for everything."

With that, they parted ways, August waving back at him for some time, before he turned around, and soon enough, found him at the gates to Professor Wisteria's Pokémon Lab. Truly, he couldn't believe he was only minutes away from starting his journey, and as he took the steps through the gate and towards the lab's door, he knew he was ready.

"Okay, okay, okay, so if I read this map right, and we're actually following the right trail, I'd say we're nearly there...?" Ivory looked at the map with a hard gaze, as if concentrating on it harder would magically make the map tell her which way to go. Of course, that doesn't happen, not on a paper map at least.

A small grunt to her side brought her attention to her partner, Amaya the Absol. Ivory tilted her head slightly in confusion as the Dark Type continued to stare on ahead.

"What is it Amaya? Do you want to rest? I mean, we have been hiking for a while now, it wouldn't be a surprise." She questioned, slowing down her pace a bit before the Pokémon rolled her eyes and gestured ahead with her head. Ivory frowned slightly before looking up from the Absol and the map, only to see what she was trying to say. "Ah! We've finally made it!"

Ahead of the pair sat the entrance to Prunella City, with a nice, overhead arch, the color of white, along with flowers, all different colors, shapes, sizes, wound around the white gateway. Spread around the outer areas of the entrance and pathway, giant spaces filled with even more flowers sat, each one swaying gently with the breeze. Really, it was one of the most colorful sights she'd ever seen. The pictures in books and on the internet definitely didn't do justice for this place, and she'd only just seen the beginning of it.

"Wow...isn't this place just amazing Absol?" Ivory asked, turning down the the Pokémon who seemed just as invested in the view. "I definitely wasn't expecting this."

"Sol..." A quiet sound of agreement came from the Pokémon, before she began to move forward, ahead of Ivory, sniffing the flowers along the way. Ivory smiled, before folding up the map and sticking it into her bag for later, and soon enough catching up with Absol.

"Let's see, should we ask someone if they know the directions to the Pokémon Lab?" She thought out loud, looking around the area in search for anyone who might be open to helping her find the way or even guiding her there themselves. She'd never been very good at directions, really.

And so, the pair began to wander around, losing confidence more and more as they continued walking, obviously hopelessly lost with their expressions and the way they were looking at every single street, building, and sign.

Location || Prunella City

The journey to Atlea had taken almost two weeks, although they had been travelling on a cruise ship that opted to take its time rather than go directly to the region. Still, the quartet had found it to be a nice change of pace from their usually rapid travels from place to place. It gave them a chance to relax and spend time with their pokémon.

Although half of the trip was spent rounding up Skyler's rowdy pair, Voltage and Bandit had seemed determined to cause as much chaos as possible. As the brunette had chased after his pokémon, the other three had silently prayed to Arceus that they wouldn't sink the ship in the process.

Still, they had made it to Atlea roughly on schedule and it hadn't taken long for Skyler to start plotting out their trip to Prunella City, Theodore hovering over his shoulder while the two girls gathered fresh supplies for the coming trip. They would need to restock once they actually reached Prunella City, but it would last the four until then.

Pogonia City was beautiful and bustling with the tourists who had gotten off the ship with them rather than wait until Cacalia City, from overhearing the conversations of a few people, they found that this was because of the rain in the next city along.

The architecture here was something that Alethea especially enjoyed looking at, although the other three found it interesting as well. Still, they decided between themselves that they could return for another look later. If the rest of the region turned out to be as lovely, then they would likely be spending longer here than they had in Johto and Sinnoh.

Their trek to the city that was home to the Pokémon Professor of the region went fairly smoothly, and soon enough the quartet were stood in front of the flower-covered archway that was the city's entrance. Alethea took a minute to smell the flowers growing nearby, sighing happily at their pleasant scent while Skyler checked his map for directions.

"So, Mr. Guide, where to?" Celeste spoke up, the shortest member of the quartet tapping her umbrella on the ground as she waited for the tallest to figure out just what their route was going to be. The blonde pouted as her brother silently patted her on the head before peering down at the map, the pale-haired teen's finger tracing a route along the map as a suggestion.

Skyler shook his head. "Nah, this way is quicker." He ran his finger along the map to to show Theodore, smiling brightly as the shorter male nodded in acceptance. "Right off we go! The quicker we drop off this stuff to the Professor, the quicker we can get to exploring, right?"

He received three nods in reply, Alethea the only one to respond verbally. "Right. I'm looking forward to seeing what this region has to offer."

The brunette flashed another grin as he tucked the map into his pocket for the time being in case he needed it again. Skyler adjusted the straps on his backpack before taking his first steps into Prunella City, Theodore hovering close to him with the two girls following on behind.

Outside of a cafe, sitting under an umbrella shaded table, Chai yawned deeply after every sip of his coffee. He wasn't exactly sure what he would be doing that day, or but he wanted to wake up before actually going with his plans that he had already made. His tired eyes watched two of his companions. Jewel (a Lucario) bent over to pick up and cradle Rumi (a lively Darumaka) in her arms. Jewel held the smaller Pokemon protectively while their trainer finished his drink. It seemed as though she didn't want Rumi wandering off and causing trouble as she is known to, but Chai never really liked to keep his pokemon in their balls and neither did they.

"I think I can hold her from here," The trainer stated as he groggily sat up from his place and pushed the metal chair in. Motioning his body towards the trashcan, Chai threw away his empty cup before receiving Rumi from Jewel. He held Rumi as they walked down the sidewalk without a clue to where they would be heading to next. With a big bright smile, Rumi looked at everyone who passed them. The scenery was beautiful. Perhaps today they would only be sight seeing, and to be perfectly honest, Chai didn't mind if that was all they chose to do. After completing this region's Pokedex, countless battles, and acquiring all the badges he can earn, his pokemon have become strong. They might have a shot at taking on the league at some point in the future, but for now all he wants to do was work on improvement yet there's something else on his mind...

"Ack! I alomost forgot. We got to talk to her."Chai thought out loud with a palm bumping his crown; how could I forget about something so important?

After navigating his way by a foggy and far away memory, he eventually stopped and stared at the same corner he had turned before receiving his first pokemon. The memories flooded in the back of his mind, but little did he think much of it. Professor Wisteria's lab was down that road.
For the first time in seven years he has come back to Prunella City to speak to the Professor in person. Recently Chai has run into some fairly interesting (and dangerous) people and he's been meaning to get to the bottom of it all. “Maybe she knows something about what has been going on?” He said somewhat nervously to Jewel who only gave a small forward-faced nod in return as if to say "get going slow-poke" before they would move ahead to the lab they faced once turning the street.

Outsirts of Prunella

The morning sun trickled faintly through the leaves above. It would be pleasant, if Selna hadn't gone to bed only a few hours before. Right now it was like the faint twinkling of the stars, only magnified to needles piercing through her eyelids. Beside her, Dean was curled up in the nest of grass they had gathered the night before. As she watched him pull a larger leaf over his head, she considered solving her problem with her hoodie. "Oh, but the professor..." She thought.

It was at the behest of her parents that she went to the professor. They barely asked anything of her, so she tried to fulfill at least this reasonable request. The moon was most of the way though the sky as she had stood at the gate. The lights were out, and they probably weren't at the Lab now anyway. She had forgotten; most people didn't wander about at night. There was nothing to be done about it, so she set out with Dean to make camp out among the flowers; taking care to go far enough that no one would be bothered. But that was last night, and now the sun was making it's way through the sky; searing only to Selna's eyes.

With a sigh she pulled herself up, brushing blades of grass off her clothes. Taking a moment to pad the hood with some of the grass, she gently lifted Dean up and placed him inside. "Eyaannn?" He muttered. "Shhhh..." Came her response, soothing him back into slumber. She stood, more grass falling to the roots of the tree. Before her was as sea of flowers, the path they walked last night was already gone; petals turning to the sun, and brushed away by the breeze. Beyond was the city, sprawling out into the distance. The ground fell off the the left, the sea crashing far below on the cliff-side, wingull circling the spray. It was almost enough to take the edge from the sun's rays.

Slowly she walked back into town, the lack of sleep evident by the steps she took, and the more-blank-than-usual expression the occasional passerby saw. Eventually, she arrived at the Lab once again; a song on repeat, but much more groggy the second time around.

Elodie had woken up early. She made her way to her small vanity, sighing excited and also nervous! She gast a cheery glance over her shoulder at Flaafy, still sleeping. Ugh, such a lazy butt, Sometimes I wonder if I have a Snorlax! She finished getting ready and getting dressed as she poked Flaafy's stomach.
"Up an' at 'em buddy! We gotta blast out of here to find that lab!" She cheered punching the air overflowing with triumph. She had stayed overnight here in Prunella City, called her mother and let her know she had made it safe. She grabbed Eevee's pokeball with a warm regard as they set off toward the lab.

A town map in her hands as Flaafy trundled beside her, Eevee held contained on Elodie's hip as she pursed her llips to the side of her face. Now... Where is Wisteria's lab? They walked on, admiring the city as they made their way. Flaafy then sniffed the air as they rounded a corner and his wool bristled with static from excitement. The gates of her lab! Elodie beamed brightly and let Eevee out, catching her tight in her arms.
"We did it you two! We made it all the way to Wisteria's lab!" Her and her companions all celebrated before she hurried across the street spotting a green-haired boy. Obviously, from that she knew this was the place. She too passed the gates, her pokemon by her side as she inhaled to contain her squeals as she too made ready to begin her new life.

Groggy and lost. Why did this always happen? He sighed, resigned to his fate. I'll always be lost, never again to find society. . . Now that's no way to think Hadley! Chin up and focus. He nodded re-motivated and fired up as he jogged slightly down the streets of Prunella. He scratched his head after he had turned three more corners, Cleffa in his backpack peeked her head out whimpering. Hadley sighed a bit lowering his head.
Awh, yeah I'm sorry sweetie. . . We're uh, lost. But! Never fear, I think our luck is turning around-" He said as he cut himself off running ahead as he had spotted a woman just as lost with long red hair. As he caught up to her he panted a bit out of breath with a wide smile. Cleffa wriggled in his bag happily.
"'Ffa!" She exclaimed as they had found help at last! Hadley cleared his throat a bit tapping her on the shoulder.

"Ah, excuse me? I noticed you and thought perhaps you'd be willing to help us out in finding. . ." It was then he realized, both of them were lost. He laughed heartily and waved his hand to fan his slight tears. "Dear me! We're both lost, that's alright, two heads are better than one. Oh! I'm Hadley by the way." He cooed slightly as he rubbed his neck.

Looking around the lab in silence for a moment after he had stepped in, Augustus wondered if the Professor was even here. It was nearly completely silent, other than a Dewgong that was sleeping underneath a desk, which had papers spread all over the top, and a computer that looked as if it was watching over some kind of indoor, manmade habitat. Everything looked rather unorganized, but really, he could judge. She was a professor, there was a lot of work to follow that. But...had she forgotten that there were trainers arriving here today?

Awkwardly, he stood by himself in silence, unsure of what to do while he waited, though he did notice that there were others entering now...thank goodness he hadn't gotten the day wrong.

Before he could turn to maybe say hello, a voice cut through the air. It was loud, but in an excitable way rather than angry or startled. He quickly looked over, and recognized the woman who was quickly moving down the steps as Professor Wisteria, who he'd met just two days ago to pick up his Oshawatt, so he could begin "bonding" before he left.

"I'm so sorry everyone!" She called out, before stopping in front of them, letting out several heavy breaths. "We were having some troubles with the Pokémon being kept here...but that doesn't matter to you! You're here to begin your journey, so," she looked around the room, "It doesn't look like all of you have made it...yet. That's okay. Why don't we begin by introducing ourselves?" She smiled at all those who had arrived at this point. "It's always good to get to know the trainers you could very well end up traveling with or at least coming across while passing through different areas."

August glanced back at the others for a moment, before Wisteria smiled, and gestured towards him, "since I already know you, August, why don't you go ahead and introduce yourself?"

August paused for a moment, rubbing his arm awkwardly and then nodding, before turning towards the others. "Er...hello, my name's August, I just received my first Pokémon two days ago. I live here with my brother...um...it's nice to meet you all." He said, short and obviously uncomfortable with the whole "ordeal." Wisteria smiled and nodded, patting him on the head a couple times before turning to the others. "Alright...I don't know the rest of you other than from you making your appointments today! So, who would like to go next? Don't be shy, we're all strangers here!"

"Oh Amaya, what if we miss the meeting with the Professor!?" Ivory's panicked voice came, and she frowned, starting to look around with distress. "Maybe they should have made signs or something to guide the trainers to the lab...oh...oh oh oh, we've never even been here before! What're we going to do!? I-"

A sudden headbutt on her leg made her look down to the Absol, who looked back up at her with a slight frown. Ivory bit the inside of her cheek for a moment, before sighing. "Ah geez, sorry Absol, I shouldn't worry so much..." She replied to the dark type, crossing her arms for a moment and then looking around herself at the gardens of colorful flowers and buildings that stood with them all.

Oh...but we're so lost... Her words continued inside her head, and she did her best to not let it show on her face, though that changed after a stranger approached her.

"H-help in finding...?" She muttered the words under her breath, before he suddenly stopped, and realized that yes, she too, was lost in the city of Prunella. Her face went a bit red at that, and she gave a quiet, awkward laugh.

"Ah, Hadley, it's nice to meet you." She said, offering a smile to him. "My name's Ivory, and this is my partner, Amaya..." Looking at him for a moment, a worried look came to her face, and she tilted her head slightly in confusion and concern. "Ah dear, are you crying? Is everything okay? Did I say something? You aren't hurt, are you?" It was a rather sudden burst of questions, and likely a shock to those who didn't know her, but this was normal for her to do. She was a worrywart, and it looked like he had began to cry? Or was she just imagining it? She almost hoped she was, making a stranger cry wasn't exactly how she wanted to start off her Pokémon journey...but at the same time, if she did, then she should try and make up for it, if not at least apologize and try and clear things up.

Wisteria's Lab

Almost in a daze, Selna wandered into the Lab. The quiet, cool breeze that flew by her as she opened the front door invited her in, The morning sun now catching in the air near the windows. She let her eyes close more with every step, counting the patches of warmth as she passed. One... Two... Three... After a bit, she practically stumbled into a door frame, pushing herself back off of it and into the room. She nearly jumped when a sudden voice sounded from behind her, sluggish reactions saving a stack of papers from spilling off their perch. Her hood spouting blades of grass as Dean woke, startled into a vastly different place.

"...The pokemon kept here?" Her thoughts echoed the Professor's words after a delay; Brain working hard to get back up to speed. After a moment, she realized that the Tangela wearing clothes was actually a person... August? "Huh, with a name like August, you'd expect brown hair." He finished speaking, her brow furrowing as Wisteria mentioned appointments. She spoke up, "I'm Selna Rivers, and I didn't make an appointment." She stared into the Professor's eyes as she said this, her own face now back to the usual blank expression. "Oh, wait... My parents might have made one. That sounds like something they'd do." She didn't explain this though, instead walking to the wall, leaning against it, and waiting until this meeting was over.

By this point, Dean had fully awakened, and climbed atop Selna's head. He had heard and understood most of this, but still wanted to sleep. He lodged more grass into her hair, sitting, well supported by it's bouncy softness.

Walking inside silently, Chai noticed that many of the people among him must have been new trainers. He felt as though he stood out a little, but that didn’t bother him really. After all these years he wondered if Professor Wisteria would recognize him. Chai wasn’t at all who he used to be looks-wise. Once upon a time Chai was small, scrawny, and had a head that seemed to be too big in proportion to his body. Now as an adult he evened out, got taller and much more muscular compared to when his journey started. Time and travel sure did that.

Patiently he would wait his turn to talk to the professor. Only after she finished with the rookies would he ask for a conversation. He didn’t want to think it was urgent. Matters regarding this Team Abyss probably weren’t serious as far as Chai knew, but not really knowing much about them he was curious to know what their intentions may be. Although, if Professor Wisteria didn’t have an answer Chai would probably drop his interest in the punks he had run into entirely as he had no other people in mind that might know something.

The three of them looked at everyone who entered the lab with wonder before settling down on a couch. Glancing at a coffee table in front of his legs, Lyou picked up a magazine which seemed to be outdated. This is just as bad as the Doctor’s office... Rumi wriggles herself out of Jewel’s hold which she had been in for only two seconds before running away to play on the floor. Jewel watched the Darumaka intently as to make sure she kept to herself. Rumi was known to be a bit of a trouble maker, and it was too early for any nonsense. After some hesitation Jewel then began to play with the younger pokemon as Chai read the articles.

Location || Prunella City

Their pace through Prunella City was rather leisurely, it wasn't as if they were in a major hurry, there was still a fair amount of time left in the day after all. If it came to it they could stop somewhere else overnight and visit the Professor in the morning. Either way, they weren't planning to leave the city until late the next afternoon, which would give them plenty of time to look around and see some of the things this place had to offer.

A fair distance ahead of them, three of the four of them - Theodore being too short to see over Skyler's head and not really interested in looking around at that point in time - could see a couple of other people heading in the same sort of direction, although the details of what they looked like were tricky to make out. Still, hopefully that meant that they were headed in the right direction.

The formation they were walking in had changed since entering the city, Skyler was still in the lead, with Theodore close behind him. But instead of trailing behind, Alethea and Celeste had taken up positions on either side of the blue-haired teen. Theo's lips twitched up into a smile as he looked fondly down at Celeste, although the expression vanished after just a few seconds, in response, the short blonde-haired girl stubbornly pressed in close to him, barely an inch between the two siblings.

Around half an hour later and they finally arrived at the Professor's lab, Skyler and Alethea swapping places so that the girl was at the front of the group. A quick glance between the four of them silently confirmed that they were ready, and so the blonde stepped up to the door, knocking three times before opening it and peering round to see inside.

She could see a few other people around, a younger boy and girl seemed to be getting to know one another, just starting their journey's she assumed. And off to the side, a young man was sat reading something with a Lucario nearby keeping an eye on a little Darumaka.

Alethea softly cleared her throat before speaking up. "Excuse me, we're not interrupting anything, are we?"

As the professor walked out she bounced slightly on her toes! How exciting, she gazed down to Flaafy quickly as he shared her joy. It felt like this was so long coming. As the little green haired boy introduced himself Elodie made a mental reminder. August, green hair, very shy. Then the others went, a blue haired girl, Selina. Interesting. Then Flaafy hopped up onto her bag as it became her turn for introductions. She struck a bold pose with her head high and her legs locked in a over-confident posture.
"It's so nice to finally be here! I'm Elodie, Elodie Davenport and this is my partner Flaafy. We're super stoked to meet you all!" She beamed as Flaafy pumped a little hoof into the air with an agreeing sound. Elodie's bright eyes scanned over her new peers gladly, this was going to be fantastic, my family is going to be so proud of me!

Hadley tilted his head a bit with a sigh as he held up his hand to stay the worried woman, Ivory's barrage of questions. He smiled wiping one or two stray tears, they hadn't been tears of sorrow more of in irony of finding the only other lost person, then again the lost surely would find the other lost things before finding their goal he supposed.
"Ah dear, are you crying? Is everything okay? Did I say something? You aren't hurt, are you?" Hadley rubbed his neck and chuckled slightly waving his hand.
"No no, it wasn't you I swear, besides it was just from my frustration I guess. It's just our luck that we'd find another lost soul in this city. . . Not that I'm unhappy to meet you, quite the opposite. Do we have a map? Maybe we could ask someone where the lab is?" He offered as he slid his hands in his pockets and Cleffa chimed softly from in his bag, she too, was sick of being lost.

The professor didn't really seem all too surprised or showing a possibly negative emotion in the slightest at Selna's words of not making an appointment. "Oh, well there's no worry. I have people coming in at random times almost everyday."

August took note of the next two who introduced themselves: Elodie Davenport, who seemed more than enthusiastic to meet everyone and be here, and Selna Rivers (with a Pokémon sitting atop her head), who was quite the opposite, with her simple introduction and the comment of not having made an appointment, and her blank and bored looking expression...

There was also a man who had entered shortly after the professor had made her entrance, only to settle down silently on a couch and pick up a magazine while what seemed like two of his partners sat on the ground next to him. August found himself distracted by him for a moment, with his rather serious expression, as well as the Darumaku and Lucario on the ground, but his attention was brought away as the door opened, and a girl spoke up from the doorway, "excuse me, we're not interrupting anything, are we?"

The voice belonged to a blonde haired, green eyed girl, who stood in front of three others: another blonde haired girl, though she looked much younger and held an umbrella, a light blue haired boy with a cold gaze, and the final one, a brunette male with cuffs and feathers dangling from the top of his ears.

Wisteria was quick to respond, quickly shaking her head. "Oh, not at all! You've made it just in time. We've just started by introducing ourselves." She looked around, before gesturing to August, and then moving on and pointing to the person who she named next, "This is Augustus Maes," he gave a small wave to the group as he was introduced by her, "Selna Rivers, and Elodie Davenport. Would you four mind introducing yourselves as well? Then once we've finished, we can move on to what you're all really here for." The professor's smile was bright and energetic, and Augustus couldn't help but crack a smile. He'd gotten to know her well enough in the time he'd spent here in Prunella with his brother, and the amount of energy the woman carried with her had never stopped to rub off some on him. There was some kind of encouragement he felt from her, whenever she spoke, so passionate about the things she did.

Oh...I can hardly wait to get started now...there's so much I'm going to be able to do!

Ivory gave a small sigh of relief as Hadley seemed to brush away her worries of perhaps having done something wrong. She placed her hand gently on her chest for a moment, closing her eyes, and Amaya gave a quick nudge against her leg, as if to break her from her sudden stress, finally.

"Well, I can't help but feel as though two lost travelers finding each other is rather comical...not that that matters! With the two of us, we'll be much better with eyes and ears, and double the luck!" She said, grinning over at him as her motivation and energy suddenly returned, a much different vibe from her than merely seconds ago.

"A map! Yes, I have one, I just...am not very good at reading them, so I figured I'd only become more lost if I tried to navigate it." She replied, reaching back and pulling her bag up in front of herself. Reaching in, she blindly groped the inside of her bag before her hand closed around the familiar feel of the map, and she pulled it out.

"Here we are! I'm glad I didn't toss this thing, even though I didn't think I'd have much use for it." She shrugged, unfolding it carefully and then looking around before placing her hand on Prunella City's area. "Okay, um...this is about as far as I can get with a map." Her tone seemed embarrassed, and she rubbing the back of her head sheepishly. "I hope...I guess, that you at least know how to read a map?"

Amaya simply stayed at Ivory's side, sitting silently as she watched the new acquaintance with her cold gaze. She wasn't sure about the teen, and while the Pokémon didn't sense anything necessarily bad from him, she still worried about her partner...a quality the dark type gained through their time traveling so far, not to mention all the time they'd seen each other and she'd kept watch over the red head.

The four of them remained quiet as the Professor introduced the three she had been speaking with. Augustus was the only boy of the group, with green hair and equally green eyes. Then Selna was an older teen girl with blue hair. The final person they were introduced to was Elodie, who was the second girl of the trio, and the last one the Professor introduced to them. While the three were being introduced, Celeste's gaze flickered briefly to the, as of yet, only one in the room who hadn't been introduced.

"It's very nice to meet you," Alethea gave a smile before sweeping into a graceful bow. "I'm Alethea Bennett, and these are my friends." She gestured to the smaller blonde first, who suddenly seemed to glare at everyone else in the room.

"I can introduce myself, thanks." The blue-eyed girl's grip on her umbrella tightened slightly, although she made no effort to actually say anything more, instead linking her arm with Theodore's.

Skyler laughed from his position on the other side of the blue-haired male. "The grumpy one is Celeste Frost. And I'm Skyler Hale, nice to meet you all." That done, the three who had already had their names mentioned turned to the last member of their group who simply stared back at them with cold eyes.

Sighing, the brunette threw an arm around the purple-eyed teen's shoulders, earning a glare from Celeste in the process. "And this one here is Celeste's brother and my husband. Theodore Hale-Frost." He smiled fondly here, and Theo's gaze seemed to soften for a moment as he looked up at Skyler.

Nodding, Alethea took over the speaking for the group for the time being. "We have something to deliver, but we can wait until you're all finished."

Wisteria's Lab

The professor's words were welcome; now Selna didn't need to regret coming all the way out here. She didn't bother to put those thoughts on her face, though. The lack of sleep was much more pressing; even now, gravity pulled her eyelids ever closer to the ground. Atop her head, Dean had been waking up. Now though, he sat attentively, listening to a blonde haired girl practically announce herself. "It's so nice to finally be here! I'm Elo-"
The world shook for a moment, sliding forward, then back. Or, rather, Dean's world did so. He panicked for half a moment, grasping tufts of pale blue hair. "Eeep!" a nearly inaudible gasp escaped him. Selna had succumbed to her drowsiness, head nodding. Dean knew this to be a matter of heroics; her parents had asked him, personally, to look after her, after all. As several more people joined the gathering people in this room, Dean was busy carefully reaching down.
Bap! Bap!
His tiny fist lightly smacked her nose, bringing her jolting awake. As jolting as she ever was. Just a light shake, but she was up again. "Oh, thanks Dean... Though I would have liked to sleep instead." She thought to herself, eyes focusing again on the professor. She now addressed even more people, much to Selna's suprise. She gave a cursory glance over them. "The blue haired fellow seems nice..." In reality however, Selna was terrible at first impressions, and only thought this because his hair was also a shade of blue.
