Mysteries surround many things in the world, and no segment of the globe is free from this truth. Even the most seemingly unimportant places have history to them, sometimes these stories of a past are dark, while other times they are inspiring. The Lobelia Islands are no exception to this. Left untouched an uninhabited by people for many years, the islands were only rediscovered and populated again about a century ago, people took interest in the area due to is beauty, and for the fact that it seemed to have rather interesting ruins upon it; signs of an ancient people. However, as these ruins were explored, it came to be blatantly obvious that something was wrong with the places left behind by the people who lived there. This was the fact that there was no sign of those who once inhabited the islands, nothing to indicate that they even existed; no skeletons or anything. . . . It was just as if they did not exist.

Though this was questioned and investigated, no conclusions about this were ever reach, and, as such, the mysteries of the people who once lived upon the Lobelia Islands became of little thought as the islands came to be known only as a resort destination, and for its one metropolis, Bellflower City. . . .

It was only recently that the islands have come back to be known as a topic of general conversation, not due to the mysteries surrounding the ruins and what happened to the people who once lived there, but instead regarding the Pokémon which inhabit the area. There are many kinds of documented Pokémon on the islands, hailing from the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova respectively. Now, what makes these Pokémon so talked about, so special happens to be the fact that in some of them . . . things are different. They are colored different, or are of abnormal size, etc. . . . In the news of this, trainers had flocked to the islands from all over, looking for these unusual Pokémon.

While these people might just be looking into expanding their own collection of rare Pokémon, there may well be unintended consequences. With so many people coming to the islands, things are bound to happen, encounters are to be had here unlike other places, and the mysteries that once permeated the topic of the Lobelia Islands may well become known once more, and awaken from the darkness of their slumber. What happens from here is up to those who are brave enough to step into the unknown to unlock a lost truth. . . .

The Lobelia Islands

The Lobelia Islands by Jakuri-chan

A small collection of islands that are reputed to possess many stories and legends of the past, scattered along these islands are hidden ruins and relics of an era long since forgotten by the present. Hiding upon these seemingly cheerful and paradise-like masses of land are dark mysteries and mythos which are better left to the past. . . . [Look inside for more details and a map!]

Anemone Island

Anemone Island by RolePlayGateway

The largest island of the collection, it holds to it the most noteworthy sites and places, including the resort metropolis known as Bellflower City.

Begonia Island

Begonia Island by RolePlayGateway

The remnants of a once-very large volcano. Having collapsed into itself long ago during a past eruption, what now remains is a crescent shaped mass of land that still produces lava. Because of how it is the land reshaped itself following the large scale eruption, one is able to walk along the rim of the crater remnants to gaze down into the bowels of the earth to see it belching up magma.

Delphinium Island

Delphinium Island by RolePlayGateway

A reportedly dangerous island. Upon it are two freshwater lakes and a rather deep and foreboding jungle. Despite the fact that there are reports of rare Pokemon inhabiting the jungles of this place, many trainers are not courageous enough to brave the thick foliage in order to seek them out . . . and for that they cannot be blamed. There is not a single human soul who consistently inhabits this island, as such it is mostly untouched, with no traces of human life to be found but for a single, collapsing ruin housed deep within the jungle flora.

Mullein Island

Mullein Island by RolePlayGateway

The smallest island of the Lobelia group. Located upon it is not much of particular interest, other than the fact that the place is peaceful, calm and serene, it provides a nice change of pace for anyone who might be tired of Bellflower City's hustle and bustle. One particular thing of interest here, happens to be fact that a number of tropical wild flowers are known to bloom here year round, all over the island.

Heliotrope Island

Heliotrope Island by RolePlayGateway

An island that houses a very large, very clear freshwater lake. Nestled in the center of a rather thick jungle, it lies, home to an array of aquatic Pokemon. Beyond the fact that it possesses an unusually large lake, this island is also home to something of an unusual site as well in the way of a cavern that has to it a rather strange atmosphere.

Cypress Island

Cypress Island by RolePlayGateway

A small gathering of islands compiled together to form one; flat and barren by the standards of the other islands around it, this place is one which is known for the fact that it is otherwise uninhabited by people . . . and for its grasslands. However, lying upon the edge of the largest landmass in this little grouping happens to be a strange and discomforting place. Bearing rocks and strange formations that cannot be logically explained, this spot is eerie and unsettling, as opposed to the rather lax atmosphere of the rest of the area.

Bellflower City

Bellflower City by RolePlayGateway

A large metropolis considered by many to be sitting on the edge of paradise; it possesses all the things one needs to live in luxury, and all the modern conveniences of the world at large. Within its bounds, you wouldn't think you were on a small island that bears no other cities like it . . . it is also more or less considerably one large resort. This is located upon Anemone island, and it is the point in which all travelers to the Lobelia Islands arrive, whether by plane or by boat.

Amaryllis Village

Amaryllis Village by RolePlayGateway

A rather quaint settlement upon the side of Anemone island that could not be more opposite of its sister city of Bellflower. It is more or less lacking in modern day conveniences and most people here live rather peaceful and simplistic lifestyles, it can be harsh here, but the people make due. In itself, this place could be called a paradise of its own since it has everything one needs in order to survive. The people living here are reputed to have a wealth of stories and legends regarding the Lobelia Islands' past collected from generations of stories being passed down by tradition. Many people in this day and age though consider these stories to merely be legends, and fragmented bits of stories that came to be embellished upon as they were passed on.

Phlox Village

Phlox Village by RolePlayGateway

An abandoned settlement nestled on the side of Mt. Gelare. Nearly every building here has become dilapidated and hazardous. Why it was that people up and left this place suddenly is unknown, but there are stories of it being cursed, of people vanishing into the night to never be seen again . . . nowadays it's mostly an avoided site, but those few people who have decided to wander here sometimes have been known to disappear entirely, or to return from this place seemingly so anxious that they refuse to speak of what occurred.

The Iapetus Cliffs - Sanctuary of Coelus

The Iapetus Cliffs - Sanctuary of Coelus by RolePlayGateway

A series of sharp, steep cliff faces located rather close to Bellflower City. A dangerous place, this jagged and rather haphazard location was once a hub of interest for researchers and explorers. Located within its grasp is a ruined and desolate temple. Nothing but ruins now, this crumbling sanctuary is full of murals and hieroglyphs that no one has been able to decipher thanks to the language being one completely lost to time, and unique to the Lobelia Islands. From what people have been able to discern, however, the temple within the Cliffs was one dedicated to the Pokemon who was the embodiment of Space; Palkia. . . .

Marituma Cave

Marituma Cave by RolePlayGateway

A seaside cave where it is that people can come to simply watch the sea . . . it is notable for the fact that it provides an uninhibited viewing of the ocean and the waves which come rolling in onto the shore. Occasionally, abnormally large Pokemon have been known to show up here, whether caught by an angler or merely because of other reasons.

Temple of the Forgotten

Temple of the Forgotten by RolePlayGateway

A nearly forgotten ruin settled upon a small outcrop of land on the boundaries of Anemone Island. Known in the past for the fact that it was sealed up for reasons unknown, and that no matter what was attempted, the temple seal remained impenetrable. To this day it is unknown what lies within the walls of this place, the only clues are the fragmented bits of truth left to the people of Amaryllis Village, and those bits of truth regard the beginnings of a dark myth, which would be better to leave to mere memory. . . .

Florens Woods - Clearing of Grace

Florens Woods - Clearing of Grace by RolePlayGateway

The woods which surround Mt. Gelare, known to possess a worn and beaten pathway that happens to encircle the base of the mountain, this verdant patch of woodland also houses the easiest manner in which to ascend it. Branching off the main path is a nearly forgotten way into the deeper reaches of the forest, and into the stony grasp of Mt. Gelare. Traces of stone and ruins can be found scattered throughout the thick foliage of these woods, what they are and what they were is unknown as they are too damaged and lost to time to know. It is said that two legends can be found within this place.

Mt. Gelare - The Crystal Grounds

Mt. Gelare - The Crystal Grounds by RolePlayGateway

The snow-capped mountain which serves as the most notable eye catch for Anemone Island, it stretches high into the skies and sharply contrasts itself from dark, barren stone until it violently turns to a pure white. . . . Though there are few people who bother ascending to the peak of this mountain, it was climbed in the past to be investigated, as upon the top it lays a strange sort of altar. It appears to be carved of ice, but it is truly a strange sort of crystal that has yet to be found elsewhere in the world. Ancient stories and tales equate this place with the legendary Pokemon, Arceus.

Diamond Dust Trail

Diamond Dust Trail by RolePlayGateway

A path upon Mt. Gelare that is inaccessible from anywhere else upon the mountain but the peak. It does not lead back down to the base of the mountain, it instead leads to a dead end flat area that is still consumed by snow. Despite this fact, the misguided wanderings of a traveller would not have wasted their time in happening upon this place. There is a rather beauteous sight to behold here, in the way of the phenomenon known as diamond dust. It happens most often at night, when the moon is hanging high in the sky, all around it forms and falls to the ground for hours on end. This happening is best observed when there is a full moon.

The Vanishing Marsh

The Vanishing Marsh by RolePlayGateway

A strange bog that is often engulfed in a very thick mist. Called by its known name because of the fact that this mist seems to consume all who enter into it. This place is rather desolate, and is avoided by the few who choose not to heed the warnings and rumors about it. Just what may lie within this foggy place is unknown, even to those who have investigated it and managed to return. . . .

Mellko's BTC (Breeding and Training Centre)

Mellko's BTC (Breeding and Training Centre) by RolePlayGateway

A quaint place just north of Bellflower City, the Mellko Family runs the famous BTC of the island. It may not look like much, since the house sticks out on a hillside, but the yard behind it stretches all the way to the beach. It's range of landscapes help keep pokemon of all types happy, yet the property isn't too big that they have lost many pokemon. The Mellko family who reside there are very amiable folk, who strive to appeal to not only the pokemon they take care of, but the people who go through the area. However, business has been on a slow decrease for unknown reasons, and it doesn't help that their only heir to the property has left home...

Lichen Port - The Hot Springs

Lichen Port - The Hot Springs by RolePlayGateway

A rather simplistic port that serves as the point of arrival for most people intent on visiting Begonia Crater. There is not much of interest in this particular place, and there are not many people who actually call this place their home, but those few who do should be noted for their pride in carving out a living in such a hostile place. Along with the locals pride, one thing to note within this Port is the natural Hot Springs which can be accessed from inside the Pokemon Center here.

The Fiamme Plains

The Fiamme Plains by RolePlayGateway

A rather flat, desolate stretch of near flat rock that stretches on into the distance. . . . This place is too hot for plants to grow, and scattered throughout it are many geysers and other such things. As reported by tourists and locals, the blurred and shimmering figure of a large creature has been seen dashing across. These stories are believed by some, and are dismissed by others as mere illusion, as simple mirages caused by the intense heat put off by the volcano.

Begonia Crater

Begonia Crater by RolePlayGateway

The crater lodged within the remnants of this once large volcano; within it the ever-active earth can still be seen in action, churning and belching up more and more magma by the second. . . . Legends and stories speak of this place having a Heatran as its guardian; though people of the modern day have never seen it themselves. But, it is said that if one were to play a glass flute, made of the lava spewed up by the volcano itself, that Heatran would show itself before the player. . . .

Celandine Camp

Celandine Camp by RolePlayGateway

A small, somewhat overgrown campsite that seemed to have been used quite frequently in the past. It has not been kept up in the last years due to the fact that so few people actually travel to Delphinium Island, and as such when it is one wants to actually use this place for a reprieve from travelling, they themselves have to clean it up a bit. This place can come off rather creepy due to its rather desolate appearance.

The Shrouded Jungle - Altar of Aevum

The Shrouded Jungle - Altar of Aevum by RolePlayGateway

A rather deep and foreboding jungle. The foliage here is so thick that it's very hard to get through it at times, and it is very easy to get lost. . . . This place is known for the fact that it is home to a deal many Bug-Type Pokemon, and for the fact that it is very dangerous due to the unusually fierce natures present in these Pokemon. It is also rumored that one of the strangest Pokemon to ever exist, roams through the thick flora without worry. . . . Hiding in the heart of the jungle here too is another secret, a very strange and almost completely overgrown ruin of an altar. According to what little has been figured out about it, it was once a shrine and place dedicated to the Pokemon who is Time's embodiment--Dialga.

The Lucid Shores - Cave of Nobility

The Lucid Shores - Cave of Nobility by RolePlayGateway

A very strange place that feels rather . . . vacant. Seemingly devoid of anything but the lapping waves upon the coast, this place makes it seem as if you are one of the very last people alive. There is, however, something quite notable here. Hidden away by the area's natural environment is the mouth of a cave, an opening into an underground grotto right in the ground. It is in this cave that two rather obscure figured have been reported.

Lake Kalliope

Lake Kalliope by RolePlayGateway

A rather sizable freshwater lake located deep within the Shrouded Jungle. Given the untouched nature of the island in particular, this lake is very clean, and clear, and possesses a rather high mineral content to its waters. Because of its purity, it is believed that a beautiful and graceful Pokemon lives here upon its shores, away from the taint of human world.

Chrysanthemum Town

Chrysanthemum Town by RolePlayGateway

A rather picturesque little place . . . although it is rather quiet and uneventful, it is beautiful nonetheless. The whole town is full of ever-blossoming wild flowers that have seemed to engulf the whole town--even the homes are encased by crawling plants and flowers. This place is particularly inhabited by Bellossom and Lilligant, as well as their evolution lines.

Coast of Tranquillity

Coast of Tranquillity by RolePlayGateway

A very peaceful beach which is quiet and relaxing to anyone seeking out such a place. Mostly untouched by people, save a sparse few tourists and perhaps a couple of visitors from Chrysanthemum Town, this coastline sometimes finds itself visited by a legend.

Protea Town

Protea Town by RolePlayGateway

Something of a tourist trap; it once was a traditional little place like Amaryllis Village, but time has changed it greatly. Now it exists only as a way station for anyone who might be seeking to visit the large lake located in the heart of the island. . . . The atmosphere here is fake and shallow, entirely created for people seeking cheap thrills and fun based off the Lobelia Islands' past and mythos.

The Capricious Waters - The Fishing Spot

The Capricious Waters - The Fishing Spot by RolePlayGateway

The large and rather lovely lake located within Heliotrope Island. The main point of interest for anyone who decides to come to the island--it is often visited by tourists. This is also home to a rather reputed fishing spot, aptly named that. . . . Rumors float around of people having reeled in rather unexpected catches.

The Shimmering Edge

The Shimmering Edge by RolePlayGateway

Named for the fact that when the sun is coming to set, it can be viewed perfectly from this beach, and at times, Krabby and other such Pokemon will wander out from their homes to blow bubbles, which are known to refract the rays of light from the sun. In effect, the glittering waters and the glistening bubbles make the whole horizon look as if it is shimmering as the sun sinks below the sea.

Shockstone Cavern

Shockstone Cavern by RolePlayGateway

A cavern that is filled with strange stones which seem to gather electricity and stores them away until they are touched. Heavily populated by Joltik and Galvantula, there are still other sorts of Electric-Type Pokemon which inhabit this place, and most noteworthy and rumored of these Pokemon is a certain beast believed to be of the element itself.

Peony Camp

Peony Camp by RolePlayGateway

Yet another overgrown campsite. Similar in atmosphere to Celandine Camp, this place is unkempt and slightly on the unsettling side. If any misplaced traveler were to try to stay here, it would require them to tidy the place up more than a bit. Seeing the condition of this place makes it pretty blatant that no one actually inhabits this little cluster of islands.

Laetitia Grasslands

Laetitia Grasslands by RolePlayGateway

A flat and rather plain stretch of land that encompasses most of the main part of the island. Due to its rather simple appearance, this part of the island is actually rather relaxing in atmosphere, and time seems to pass relatively slowly here. There are many Grass-Type Pokemon scattered throughout this place.

Ends of Green - The Twisted Rim

Ends of Green - The Twisted Rim by RolePlayGateway

Located upon the very edge of the Laetitia Grasslands is this place. It is where the grasslands come to an end and slowly turn into barren, lifeless rock along the edge of the island. As this change happens, and if one goes ahead and ventures further into it, they would soon find themselves surrounded by distorted and misshapen rocks that seem to have been made that way by forces that cannot be explained of this world, it is for this reason that this area is known as 'The Twisted Rim.' It is said too, that upon wandering too far into the Rim, one can find themselves with a constant feeling of being watched and anxiety.

Land of Stone - Refuge of Integrity

Land of Stone - Refuge of Integrity by RolePlayGateway

A stony patch of land; it is rather flat and simplistic in appearance. Upon this place there are several Rock, Ground and Steel-Type Pokemon found wandering freely, it is also here that one can find themselves wandering into a rather hidden cave. Dwelling within this cave is a supposed myth.

[Evande Sterling]

Dark and near-silent, the lobby of the Pokémon Center remained desolate. However, that was to be expected given the time of night…even the Nurse Joy who minded this particular Center had called it a night some hours ago, leaving those nocturnal sorts of trainers to their own. And, even many of those trainers had gone to bed. Within the building, there seemed to remain only one awake Trainer. Moreover, she was not awake by her own choice; rather, she remained so thanks to the inability to sleep. Having tried for some time, finally giving up on the idea of getting any shut-eye, she wandered from her room things in tow, and headed down to the lobby of the Center, resigning to a night of watching television while lying on a worn, overly used couch that had probably seen the seated asses of many tourists and Pokémon trainers. That was a thought she did not want to have wander into her head. While she came to, mostly, shake that thought from her mind, she found that even watching television grew rather tiresome after an hour of flipping through station after station of late night shows. Eventually, she came to one conclusion about what was put on television late at night, and that was the fact that all of it blatantly sucked.

Regardless though, she still remained to watch the programs on, flipping between channels so often that eventually her mind managed to blur many of the shows together into something strange, it came to be that she didn’t even know what she’d been watching before.

“I’m not sure, Maris…since when did Murray Mudkip go from learning his ABC’s to solving homicides…?” a soft, albeit confused, voice spoke up. “Wait—when was I watching Murder: Castelia City…?”

“Miloooooo….” Was the answer she got. The Pokémon who answered her trainer did not know what television shows had been watched since the channel flipping had commenced.

Not quite alone on the old couch, the pink-haired trainer was lying with one of her Pokémon, a rather unusual sight to see; a Milotic. Having sensed the anxiety felt by her trainer for the coming day, the Pokémon had decided that she too would go without sleep so long as her dear human friend. Though aware of the fact that she could easily induce calm upon the pink-haired human, Maris chose to not compel her trainer, Evande, to sleep through a forced manner.

“Ah, I guess you wouldn’t know either….” she sighed, before a yawn came to her. Though she did indeed feel some level of fatigue, a sense of apprehension lingered within, strong enough to keep rest from soothing her. It had been like this for some hours now; time had marched forward, toward the 3AM marker. Making matters worse, her body remained on Hoenn Standard Time…meaning it felt as if she were three hours ahead of the Lobelia Islands. Having only arrived on Anemone Island that same afternoon, of course she wouldn’t yet find herself properly adjusted to the change in time zones.

At the very least, she was comfortable. Maris, her Milotic, after seeing fit to pop out of the confines of her Poké Ball, resigned to allowing her trainer lay on her, partly. While it was Maris did indeed have herself lying upon the couch, only a small portion of her serpentine body managed to actually fit the length of the thing, the rest of her form lazily found itself draped to the side, resting upon the floor. Though a bit uncomfortable herself, Maris did not mind it so long as she could provide some solace to Evande. The trainer’s upper body was rested upon her Pokémon’s, an arm around her body, sandwiched between it and the back of the couch while it was she had her head placed upon the Milotic’s diaphragm, turned to see the television, glasses upon her face, hair drawn back into a ponytail.

Though there was an air of femininity to this girl, between her and her Pokémon, there remained the fact that at the same time, there was an undeniable air of androgyny to her and her features in the dim light provided by the television. Which is how she wanted it. She’d lasted six years with her gender disguised, by the age of seventeen, making herself appear genderless came simple enough now…. Even if she were lying upon a couch with her Milotic, watching terrible television shows that did little more than just blend into one blotch, maintaining herself as appearing in-between male and female had become a standard in her life. One both necessary and habit.

Maybe it really wasn’t necessary to keep this up anymore…but, it was better that she not risk it. Six years of searching, of wandering the world, moving wherever bits of news and fragmented rumors would take her—if she were to release hold of her seemingly genderless status and be taken back, then all of it would’ve been for naught. She would have spent six years looking for her brother, only to have it be in vain if someone were to care enough to see her returned to her parents. And, even if she were about to begin a new leg of her journey now, she was in no way ready to give up, not when she felt herself so close to finding Ulric.

Of course though, a new beginning was still a ‘beginning,’ whether she’d set out to travel through new lands and territories several times before in her short lifetime, Evande swore that no matter how many times she’d do it that it would always leave her anxious. New sights to see, new places to explore, and the chance that she really might at last find her brother…. Even if the latter seemed unlikely, with how large the world was, the slim possibility remained, and if she did find him…Evande had no idea what she would say to him or anything. Six years had passed, after all. She was no longer the same person as she was years ago—Ulric knew her as sickly, helpless and frail, when she was anything but now.

The notion of it, and the fact that she knew not what was to come always left Evande feeling a sense of trepidation, and a bit of excitement. However, this time, what she mostly felt was the former. She felt anxious beyond belief for the new beginning ahead of her when the sun rose. Enough was it to have kept her awake, watching five minutes of nearly every program being broadcast that night as she went through the channels. Starting out her adventures on the Lobelia Islands without sleep was a bad way to go, but if she could not help it, she could not help it. For the time being, all she could do was remain comfortable on an overly used couch, with the company of her oldest and dearest Pokémon as television shows melded and mixed together to form the oddest of things in her head.

There were no people around to bother her then, to spoil her secret or to risk it, meaning that she could be as she wanted, she didn’t have to worry. Of course, when the sun wound rise, she would have to watch everyone and thing, make sure she did not fall into trouble or in with anyone. Evande knew that she needed to stick to herself in order to go on as quick without a problem.

From the last she’d heard, there had been sightings of a Pokémon trainer who matched Ulric’s description across the Islands within the last months, pink hair, and two rather unusual Pokémon to him, one red and one blue. Her brother who she had not seen in so many years…where had he been? What had he been doing that kept him away? Evande remembered that he had promised her before he left on his initial journey to become the Champion of the Johto League that he’d find a way to make her better from her illness. But so many years had passed….

Thinking about Ulric, it elicited a long sigh from Evande’s lungs. Sensing the melancholy from her trainer, Maris gazed down at the girl. Feeling the eyes upon her, the girl looked up back at the Milotic, remaining quiet a moment before she offered a contented sort of smile to her. “I’m okay Maris, just thinking about Ulric and La again….” she murmured, “Wondering where they are, and what they’re up to. Hoping to find them soon….”

Remaining quiet, Maris regarded her trainer’s wishes with a nod. Understanding her desires—knowing that Ulric had been the most important person within Evande’s life at one point, and that La had been very significant to her too. If she had arms, Maris would’ve given her trainer a hug for comfort.

“Tomorrow starts the beginning of a new part of our search….” She spoke softly, “It has me as nervous as usual. I know things will be all right, but I’m still worried.”

An exhale slipped from her as she relaxed her body, turning her gaze away from her Pokémon, as she set her eyes back upon the television and the show that was playing on the channel she’d turned to. “Mm, it’s nothing to over think, I can’t sleep yet, so the best I can do is relax, and watch television.”

Evande remained quiet a moment, “….well, maybe if I knew what was on, and it didn’t look like Murray Mudkip was about to bust an illegal Herdier fighting ring….” A shake of her head, and her hand was up, flipping the channel again.

It was 3AM, and she had a few hours till sunrise, Evande knew she needed to remain careful about herself till then, but a part of her was at ease, thinking that all would be fine, and that she would remain alone for the time being, before she went and began her search for Ulric.

"How long must I live in this waking nightmare?"

A Vaporeon padded her way around the dark Pokemon Center, as restless as the girl on the couch watching TV was. Her Milotic regarded Rain with a baleful stare, and then ignored her. Rain did the same to the Milotic as well, as she padded back to where her trainer lay sleeping. Well, thrashing, was more the word. Her ears dropped as she watched him mutter and sweat in his sleep. She knew he was having the same dream he'd been having. About his youngest sibling, the one he called Kitten, and the one whom her own daughters ran with.

She curled up next to him, as remembering her own daughters only made her depressed as well, since the two of them were missing along with Kitten. A particularly loud moan from the orange-haired boy woke another of the six Pokemon around him, a Raichu, who sleepily looked around, and then gave a huff of annoyance at his trainer who had awoken him. However, this huff also evaporated when the electric Pokemon saw how disturbed his trainer's sleep was. "Rai....?" The Pokemon asked softly, and when the boy didn't respond, Sparky gave his trainer a mild shock.

Morgan awoke with a start, his green eye wide with fear, apprehension, distress, and pain. He sat up gasping, drenched in a cold sweat, and felt a curious tingling sensation all over his body. He closed his eye, taking a deep breath, and then glanced at his watch. 3:00 AM He sighed, and then glanced down at Sparky, who was gazing at his trainer with concern. Morgan gave him a tired smile. "I'm okay, Sparky, really. Thanks boy. Go back to sleep." The Raichu gave his trainer a disbelieving look, but curled back up next to Flare, Morgan's Arcanine, anyway. Rain poked her nose at Morgan's left hand, and the male absent-mindedly petted her. He gazed or his other Pokemon, Flare, the Arcanine, who was fast asleep. Sparky, a Raichu, who was currently trying to get back to sleep. Sora, his Venusaur, who was snoring. Jet, his Fearow, was far above him, roosting in the rafters over their heads. Rain, his Vaporeon, was beside him and obviously awake, and last that left Trickster, his Alakazam.

Who wasn't around. Noticing this, Morgan sighed. Trickster hardly ever slept, which Morgan supposed it was due to all the time he slept when he was an Abra. Still, Morgan didn't like it when he wandered off. He stood up and stretched, clicking his tongue against his teeth to call Rain, who stood up with him, following him through the dark Pokemon Center. Morgan found his mind wandering to Kari, and to his nightmare. His little sister Kari, whom he fondly called Kitten, had gone missing seven months before-hand, along with his Leafeon and Glaceon, Terra and Icis. He'd spent the last six searching for her, and had turned up absolutely nothing as to her whereabouts, until he'd finally received a tip that someone had spied a young girl with a Leafeon and Glaceon in the Lobelia Islands, in tow of a male with pink hair and a Latias. But then, he'd also heard that someone saw a whole herd of Lugia on the islands as well. Seven years as the world-renowned "Tracker" had taught him not to trust much of the common word. Still, with no leads, he had to try something. It was his sister after all.

Lost in his thoughts, he didn't notice Rain had left his side. The Vaporeon had caught Tricksters' scent, and had followed it, leaving her trainer behind. She came upon the Alakazam standing behind the couch where the trainer with the Milotic were watching TV. "Vay...? Vaporeon..." She nudged the Alakazam gently, who glanced down at her, and then resumed his staring at the trainer. Vaporeon cocked her head at him, and then padded around the couch to look at the pink-haired girl as well. It was then that Rain sensed it, and she froze, her blue eyes gazing at the girl with the Milotic with a curious expression. "Ala..." Trickster said, moving to stand next to Rain. Both of the Pokemon could sense it. The girl had the touch of Entei.

Morgan turned a corner, and realized he was alone. He looked around, but Rain was nowhere in sight. Groaning to himself, he turned around and backtracked his way to her, finding both her, and Trickster, standing at the end of a couch in front of a TV, regarding a girl with pink hair and a Milotic curiously. Morgan himself only glanced at the girl before turning to his Pokemon. "C'mon you two, what are you doing? Let's leave the girl to her shitty TV programs." It suddenly seemed to dawn on him what he said, and he glanced down at her, looking at her a bit closely, and suddenly wondered if he'd misjudged the gender on the trainer, but let it slip his mind as he continued. "No offense to you, sorry. Sorry if Rain and Trickster bothered you. Not exactly sure what they were thinking." He regarded the two of them with a mild one-eyed glare, and it suddenly hit him that he didn't have his eye patch on. Even with only the light of the TV to illuminate his face, the scar still wasn't a perfect painting one would choose to lay their gaze on. He dug the patch out of his pocket and slapped it on. He coughed once. "Right, sorry about this, again, really. I didn't mean to bother you."

[Evande Sterling]

A few minutes had probably passed by with only silence between her and Maris, the only noise that slipped through the dark came from the constantly changing television as Evande continued to flip through the stations, unable to find a decent thing to watch the whole while. Shows still were managing to blur together in her mind if she kept on one for more than a few minutes and turned to another. The last thing she needed at nearly 3:30AM the night before she was suppose to start a new leg of her journey was to keep thinking Murray Mudkip was about to go and do something that didn’t involve learning colors or letters…. The things her mind did when tired….

Only when it was that Evande heard Maris utter a very soft, very cautioning, “Milo….” did she turn her gaze away from the television, peeking up to see that the Pokémon had her eyes set upon another. Though Milotic were renowned for being peaceful, serene creatures—Maris was no exception—there was no denying that when Maris knew that she herself weren’t in the best of spirits, she became quite the protective thing. The stare being given by the water serpent was a menacing one that was just as quickly revoked, as she came to ignore the other Pokémon—a Vaporeon who seemed to be wandering about the Center, restless itself. Maris turned her attention back to the television as the Eeveelution paid some heed to the threat directed toward it, before it went about its business. Whatever that entailed.

Evande watched it trod off, disappearing toward the back of the building where trainers were offered free rooms for nightly lodging before she sighed quietly. This earned a glance from the Milotic. A shake of her head, and Eva was looking again at the television too. “Y’know, Maris, even if I’m not in the best of states right now emotionally, you don’t have to go and almost pick fights with other trainer’s Pokémon.”

“Milo…tic.” Was the answer she got, a regretful sort. To this, the pink-haired girl went ahead and reach up, patting Maris on her neck, more or less informing the Water-type she got what she meant.

I know, she just wants to protect me. She’s always been this way since she hatched, even when she was a Feebas who couldn’t do much of anything but flop around. she gave a small smile to her Pokémon. Evande understood the sentiment that slipped from her Pokémon, but at the same time, she knew it unnecessary. Showing unneeded aggression toward others’ Pokémon could, and would eventually, only end in some sort of trouble she didn’t need to get herself involved with. People and such would only bring with them the potentiality of her secret being exposed, of everything she’d been doing, and planned on doing, being in vain.

If she were discovered and returned home…she didn’t know what would be the end result, but her parents, how they’d regard her, how they would act to seeing her again after so long…. There was always the chance of anger, which she wouldn’t blame them for given that she’d run away from home with an illness that bore the chance of being fatal, a high chance at that. But then, there was also a chance that they would be relieved to see her, happy, because it was possible that Chariton and Myrrh thought her dead. I am sorry that I left them like I did, I know they must’ve been really worried about me since I was so sick. Despite the fact that she was so intent on seeking out Ulric since she’d made her choice to go, Evande always did feel a sense of guilt for having…run away.

Regardless of that, she still couldn’t go home yet, not without finding some trace of Ulric.

Her hand remaining upon her Pokémon’s neck, Evande seemed to be staring off into space a moment, as she’d gone still and silent, her eyes were half-open. She really did miss her parents, she missed her brother and she missed La. … She’d gone on the last six years alone, save for her Pokémon, but she’d rejected people from her life so that she wouldn’t risk her secret being exposed. And that was something she had to become more adamant about as she’d gotten older, as with growing up, it became much harder for her to keep herself looking the part of a boy due to certain endowments she’d seemed to have inherited from her mother…. I guess I can thank Arceus for the advent of breast bindings…and duct tape.

With her mind entirely off the terrible television shows still playing out in front of her, her thought pattern entirely within its own realm, when it was the call of Pokémon broke through the otherwise quiet Center lobby, Evande nearly bolted up where she lay. “Vay...? Vaporeon...” It came from behind the couch, Is that the Vaporeon from a bit ago…? More than likely the answer to that was yes, since it wasn’t the most likely of things to find two trainers in the same Pokémon Center who happened to each have a Vaporeon. Quickly, Evande turned her head to look over the back of the couch, only to have a jolt run through her, as her eyes went wide, and her heart skipped a beat in her chest when it was she saw an Alakazam looming right overtop her, looking at her. How long had it been there…?

By this point, the culprit responsible for knocking her from her thoughts had made its way around the couch, indeed a Vaporeon, and was staring at her seemingly inquisitive? Maris had her gaze between the Psychic and Water-types too, a little edgy by the fact that the two strange Pokémon were staring now at her trainer. “Ala…”

Evande looked between the two, now sitting up with a slightly nervous expression upon her features. Why are they looking at me so weirdly? I mean, I’m used to that from people since they can’t tell my gender so easy, but Pokémon….

About the time that she was ready to break the silence there, as the Alakazam moved from its place behind the couch, to standing next to the Vaporeon—seemed they belonged to the same group—there came a groan from within the lobby, this time from a human. Just what she wanted to deal with…another person at this ungodly hour. As if feeling anxious and weird about beginning anew at daybreak wasn’t enough before, now, she had to worry about a Pokémon with their weird Pokémon who seemed to have an affinity for staring. She turned her head back to look at this person, seeing, even in the dim light of the television, that it was a male. He treaded toward the Alakazam and Vaporeon, paying to her a glance—which caused her to take note of the fact that this guy was missing an eye….

Seeing the scar that was taking the place of his right eye caused Evande’s own to widen a bit, something of a shocked expression took root on her features at that before it just as quickly receded back as a look of disinterest played over her face. Still, she couldn’t help the, Wonder how that happened…. that slipped through her brain. Maris too, looked upon both the man and the Pokémon, as she remained on the couch, quiet. Whatever it was she was thinking would be a mystery.

The trainer’s attention on his Pokémon, Evande was ready to remain quiet, and to pay no more notice to the three…. Until it was she heard him speak, “C'mon you two, what are you doing? Let's leave the girl to her shitty TV programs.” It wasn’t the fact that the guy had said she was watching ‘shitty TV programs,’ because he couldn’t have been more right about that. He’d said…‘girl.’ Hearing that, Evande went completely still, and she had her eyes turned back up at the one-eyed man, wide behind her glasses. Her face had lost any and all color it had at that point in time, she even stopped breathing. He’d called her a ‘girl.’

However, he was suddenly looking back at her again, as if he were second-guessing himself on the gender he had referred to her as. In return, she just looked back at him, Maris doing much the same, though she felt the anxiety Evande was undergoing as well. Maris knew how desperate her trainer was to maintain her secret. Even now, though the risk had been low of encountering another person at such an hour, the reverse trap of a trainer had herself fully ready, she had her breasts bound up tightly, a red-shirt far too large for her frame that hung on her shoulders, sleeves half down her fingers, big enough to keep from showing the thin waistline maintained by Eva…. And she worn on her legs rather baggy pants, shoes off due to being inside.

He’s…not sure if he got my gender right, even if he doesn’t try to correct himself on that, I can still slip out of this…. she told herself, forcing something of a disconnected sort of look take over her features.

“No offense to you, sorry. Sorry if Rain and Trickster bothered you. Not exactly sure what they were thinking.” he went on, not stopping to apologize for the sake maybe getting her apparent sex wrong.... That was fine, all she had to do was play it off as if it were no big deal, even if he thought she really was a girl, it would be fine, he didn’t have her name after all. Even if he did inquire about it, she still had her alias to fall back on.... Keep calm about it for now Evande, it’ll be okay. To both of his Pokémon, the Vaporeon and the Alakazam, the man gave them what looked to be something of a weak glare.

A moment passed before it was the guy seemed to be rummaging through his pocket for something though, pulling out an eye-patch. Seemed he’d forgotten he didn’t have it on. Though, it really wasn’t like it mattered if he wore the thing or not, scarred eye or whatever, Evande didn’t really care. Scars were scars, she had a few nasty ones of her own, so, his was nothing special nor was it too terrible to behold, even if it did slightly peak her curiosity. For now, though, she just had to play off the fact that he had called her a ‘girl.’

Coughing once, he went on, apologizing again. “Right, sorry about this, again, really. I didn't mean to bother you.”

Forcing a long exhale from her lungs, calming her heart, which had seemed to have sped up to an ungodly pace, Evande shrugged to the man’s words. This earned attention from Maris, who looked to her trainer again. Okay, just act as your usual self, passive enough to be left to your own again, but here enough….

She looked at him with a lazy expression, “….you can’t exactly bother someone who’s doing nothing, can you?” Evande asked him, her voice monotonous. “Believe me, this little instance has been far more interesting and entertaining than the poor excuses for television that they have on at this hour.” Her mind went back to the fact that she was managing to meld everything she was watching together, like Murray Mudkip and Murder: Castelia City…. A shrug came from her again before she about turned her gaze back to the still-on television, remote still in hand. Yet, Evande stopped herself as it seemed she had a secondary though slip through her mind.

“….by the way, you really didn’t need to bother with the eye-patch.” she looked back at him as she changed hands with the remote, flipping it between her right hand to her left. Laxly, she brought her right arm upward, hand open, and completely visible on it was the rather unpleasant scar present. The palm of the hand, the side of the thumb and the pads of her fingers remained a rather odd reddish-pink, the skin almost completely smooth, as the creases within the flesh were lost along with her fingerprints. “I’ve got my share of scars, so your missing eye really isn’t a nuisance for me to see.” Evande lowered her hand back to her side with that.

"Yes, we all have our share of scars. Both physical and mental."

Morgan regarded her scar with almost no interest playing across his face, save for a slight flicker in his green eye. Several different memories passed before his eyes, unbidden. Just like his nightmare.

"I don't like the scar, Mo-mo.......but I don't like the eye patch either."

Morgan's eye widened slightly at the memory of Kari's voice, and he hung his head slightly. A smile played on his face, but it was a false one. And when he next spoke, there was an underlying sadness to his voice. "Yeah, well....it's not really for your benefit. Someone I care about doesn't like seeing it. Or, she didn't like seeing it before. And she didn't really like the eye patch either...but I keep it as a reminder of my resolve. I have to find her. And I swore I would....and if anything has happened to her...well. It won't be good for whoever harmed her." There was an icy coldness to his voice as he said the last part.

Rain's ears dropped as she sensed her trainers' sadness and then his fury. "Vay..." She said softly, nudging Morgan's hand. He jerked his hand back, surprised, and then looked down at her sadly. "I'm doing it again, aren't I girl?" He rubbed her head gently. "I'm sorry. I'll try to stop losing myself."

He regarded the girl in front of him with a slightly curious expression. "I lost my eye saving my little sister from an Arbok back home. The thing stuck it's fang right into my eye. I've been spending the last seven months trying to find her. My latest information is that she's been sighted in the company of a man with pink hair and a Latias on these islands. Though, I really doubt the truth of it. A Latias....but then, I don't have any other leads. And I can't go home again until I find her." He wasn't sure why he had divulged all of that information to the girl in front of him. But it was out now. "My name is Morgan. Morgan Alistair." It was the alias he usually went by. "And what about you, girl? Calling you 'girl' isn't very polite, now is it?"

" 'I'm going home, to the place where I belong.' Yeah right. More like, I'm going home, but I sure as hell ain't staying."

{Zachary Mellko}

The cool sea wind had been constantly smashing against his face for the past few hours now, so it was a relief for once to see land: no matter what kind. The fact that the waters were calm was good, but the fact that he had to take a massively unnecessary trip all the way back home wasn't. Since Gyro caught some nasty bug, he wasn't able to surf for very long without getting tired. Nothing seemed to be working, so Zack was hoping that it was just over-exhaustion. Now, Zachary would have gone to a Poke-Center if he had the chance, but Gyro was acting up while they were en route to Unova - and P.Cs didn't float very well. So, begrudgingly, Zack turned his beloved Red Gyarados towards his homeland, which was closer than any other continent, and headed for home.

By the time he reached the port, however, Gyro was feeling much too sick to continue, so he switched him out for Larry halfway home. Zachary had to admit, it was a pretty smart idea to have a back up swimmer, even if he was a massive hunk of metal that shouldn't float. Larry, though, had been a massive trooper, and Zachary knew that he would be repaying the big guy when the got to land. The Lobelia Islands. The idea of going back home nearly made him nauseous, but he suspected that it was merely the waves. Sure, Zack really hated dealing with most populated areas, but the Lobelia Islands were full of 'touristy' people that couldn't give two shits about anything but themselves. Besides, his parents were there, and that alone was a good enough reason for not going home.

However, Zachary Mellko soon pulled up to the docking bay aboard his Aggron, giving a sigh. At least at the ungodly hours that he travelled, nobody was up to greet him. Yeah, ever since leaving home, Zachary's idea of waking hours took a shift for the odd. Going to bed at around 6 pm and waking up around 2 in the morning seemed to be the best way to avoid the most people while he was travelling, so that became his schedule. He would travel most of his distances in the dark portions of the day, get his battling and shopping out of the way int he morning, and then do his training and vegging until he slept. While this schedule was great for a vulgar guy like him, it wasn't perfect - no, perfect was to become a nocturnal deity and just do everything at night. However, Zachary knew he couldn't do that after being on New Moon Island. Twilight hours of the day were the ones he kept himself asleep and secure, making sure that a certain Pokemon didn't jump him. Instinctfully, Zack's hand reached to the back of his neck to feel the rough, overlapping tattoos. Those weren't ones he wanted to add to his collection, but they served as paranoid reminders.

Stepping onto the dock of the bay, Larry made a little noise. "Agg." Zachary turned back to his Pokemon and gave him a mock scowl. Aggron was mocking him for being too heavy and that he was being overworked again, and Zachary wasn't having any of it. As he returned him to his pokeball, he laughed. "You're just being a little shit today, aren't ya Larry. Always gotta complain about everything." Absol had refused a ride in a pokeball, so she jumped off just as Larry was returned and stood beside Zack gracefully. Zack gave Absol a smirk, and turned towards the bright, annoying city of Bellflower.

The city, if it was being looked upon by a normal stranger, would look quite exquisite. It was always lit up quite nicely at night, but the lights were softer than most cities: Bellflower City valued its beautiful night sky, and would often boast about having great views from anywhere. To keep it that way, the city didn't light up very much, and the people loved it. Of course, these people were normally tourists and not at all with the mindset of a pissed off Aggron. In essense, none of these people were Zachary Mellko.

Zack looked upon the city with the same disdain he always did. It's lights were a constant reminder that people lived there, and the people that he had to put up with while growing up. He could live with other cities just for the fact that they were inhabited by just people - ignorant, annoying, foolish, completely douchebag-like, but still just people. Here in Bellflower city, if you weren't a tourist, you were probably in some form of fight with Zachary Mellko during his stay on the islands. He suspected that most people didn't want to see him about as much as he didn't want to see them.

He was now stuck at a crossroads. He could either take Gyro to the nearest Pokemon Centre, heal him up and attempt to be on his way - hoping that whatever was ailing him would be just gone - or take him back home with a little note to pick up one of his other numerous pokemon. Against his better judgement, he decided the latter.

A few minutes of recalling old memories - most of them quite lame - he came across the crappy little house once again. The lights were on, as always, and invited him in. When invited, Zack meant that he was sneaking in the back door. However, upon opening the front door, a low growl came from the ground.

"Raaaay." Zack could help but smile as his little RayRay was standing her ground, fiercely defending her Master's old house. He knelt down, tickled her under her chin and whispered softly. "Hey there RayRay, miss me? I'm just here to drop Gyro off, you remember him." RayRay cocked her head a little in understanding as he stood up and snuck to the pokemon chambers. There, he grabbed a seemingly random pokeball and replaced Gyro's with it, a note stuck to the ball.

Taking Eve. Present for you. The note was that damn short, since Zack couldn't find anything nice to say, and he really didn't want to leave a rude note on Gyro's ball - it might hurt his feelings. Nevertheless, he turned around to see Absol and RayRay somewhat sizing each other up, as they always did, and he rolled his eyes. With a quick pat on the head, Zack made his quick escape out of the door and left the dingy house once again.

Zack was now unsure of what to do. At around 3 in the morning, there wasn't much else he could do besides surf on over to Unova and leave these stupid islands. He would normally fly, but Sally didn't know where she was going, and Zachary always found that his stomach was more upset in the air than on the sea. So, without much else to do, Zack decided that the best thing to do was probably head into the PC center and get Eve and the rest of his Pokemon checked up. Sure, Absol was alright - even if she had been beating up some stupid Wingull on the way here - but Zachary was unsure about the rest, especially Larry. He didn't need his other Surfing Pokemon injuring himself too.

Noticing the one he was looking for, Zachary admitted himself through the doors at some time after 3 AM, to which he was wide awake. While he was expecting it to be empty at this time - or with a couple passed out people laying on the ground - it wasn't. There were two people sitting on the chairs nearest the television set. One had long pink hair, the other with orange and a stupid jacket that said 'TRACKER'. Now, Zack was going on a limb by saying that either both were girls, or at least one was, but that was just from seeing the back and sides of their heads. After seeing the sides, he presumed Tracker here was a dude, but Pinky here could have been anyone. Regardless, none of this mattered to Zack.

Instead of doing what a normal person would do at a Pokemon Center during the night - sit down and wait for the morning, leave or be obnoxious and wait for Nurse Joy to wake up and help them - Zack just walked towards the desk. He didn't really care if either of those two decided to speak to him, but judging by the stupid ass commercial they were watching, he wasn't expecting anything intelligent. On a side note, there was a Milotic with Pinky (which threw Absol and Zach off a little) along with a Vaporeon and an Alakazam.

[Miles Calvin}

It was three in the morning.

Three in the morning and Miles was sound asleep in the nice, cozy little place he'd managed to snag for a cheap price. He planned on waking up some time around noon, bright and early, to start his journey into the unknown wilderness. Well, first he planned on finding someone to go with him. He wasn't sure how long he would be gone and the last person he'd dragged around with him couldn't follow him to the Islands. Something about their grandma dying or...their Houndoom's grandma dying...or someone's grandmother dying, he didn't really catch the details, but it sounded like a good enough excuse to go back to wherever they needed to be. Miles wasn't that concerned about it, though. He'd always been good at picking people up along the way and traveling with them. Sometimes they didn't even know it!

Still, somehow, someway, no matter how hard Miles tried, he always ended up alone like this. Sure, he had his Pokemon with him, but what good did they do? ...Okay, so if he had to admit, in all honesty, they weren't terrible traveling partners, especially Burn. Burn was his favorite. Burn was smart and strong and loyal and brave and everything that he needed to be to be a good Pokemon. The others weren't terrible either considering they were good enough for him to consider having in his party, but they weren't as good as Burn. They weren't as good as they should be. Regardless of the company his Pokemon brought, Miles would still rather have people. Pokemon understand human talk, but they still weren't very good to have conversations with. They didn't speak the same language. It was just...lonely.

"Griiiiiiim."

A ghastly illuminated face with a blood-thirsty grin flashed across the vision of his mind all of a sudden. Miles woke with a start, shouting in surprise and gripping his chest as if it would keep his heart from jumping out of it. He looked around the dark room, breathing heavily, looking desperately for the face that infected his dreams and turned them into nightmares. After a few startled seconds, the real world settled down around him and he realized that he was awake and that there was no giant, glowing, scary face out to get him. "Right. I'm stupid." And tired. It was three in the morning and he needed to get back to sleep. It was just a...

"Grrriiiiiiiiimmm."

"Shit!"

Miles was out of that bed faster than he would of been if someone pricked him with a needle. He was out of the bed and out of the room, down the hall, and right past the--"Griiiiiim." Okay, not the back door. The back door was blocked. Bad idea. Abort mission, spin around, abort abort abort, jeezus I am going to die. I am going to die in this building and I am going to pee on myself and the world is going to melt into oblivion and--oh my god am I dreaming? Why is this happening to me?! Miles was able to successfully make his way back through the building and out through the front door. He was yards down the road before he realized he was out in the middle of the street in his pajamas at three in the morning being chased by...nothing. There wasn't anything there. He was...being...paranoid. He was...being stupid. There wasn't anything there.

And just like that, there it was. The face was back, but it was worse than it'd ever been before. Miles stared on as the face blocked his path from getting into the building, back into safety. He could see it more clearly now. It definitely had a faint purple glow with large, narrowed red eyes and a glasglow smile that had blood dripping from its fangs. He took a step back as the face levitated just slightly closer to him. It was as if it were waiting for him to make a move. It was staring him down. It was going to eat his heart out if he didn't go anywhere right this very instant, but Miles found himself too scared to move. Then the face opened its huge, gaping mouth and chomped down again and he swore he could hear his own bones crunching between them. But maybe that was just his imagination getting away from him. Was this a Pokemon?? Why was this happening to him? He didn't even do anything! He was sleeping! It's three in the morning! He just wanted to go back in his nice, warm, comfy bed and go back to sleep. He didn't have any of his Pokemon on him. He was barefoot and in his pajamas. Nobody was even awa...

There was a flickering light not too far away that he caught from the corner of his eye. Not too far down the street, through the clear windows of the PokeCenter, Miles could see a television flickering away. He couldn't make out much more than that considering the darkness and the distance, but where a tv was playing, somebody had to be up watching it. Right? Of course. Yeah. Right!

"GRIIIIIIM!"

Nearly jumping out of his skin, Miles didn't wait for the face to get any closer. He turned on his heel and ran straight for the building, panting as he burst inside only a short minute later. He was so glad it was left unlocked. Once inside, he slammed the double doors shut and slid to the floor to catch his breath, closing his eyes to concentrate on not having a total panic attack. Gone. It was gone. Whatever it was was gone now and he was going to be okay. Miles opened his eyes and...met the face eye-to-eye. He screamed, but instead of devouring his face whole like he swore it was going to do, the face started laughing. It was a dark, gurgly sound that didn't so much as unnerve him as it did confuse him. As the face bounced with laughter, a body grew around it, short, stubby, and purple. And--

Oh, no, you're kidding. "You little..." He couldn't even think of an insult great enough to express how angry he was. "Freak. You stupid, no good, creepy little freak!" Miles got to his feet, hardly acknowledging the others in the room, and made a grab for the Gengar that was rolling on the floor laughing. The Gengar disappeared in time to save itself, however, sending its trainer to the ground. Miles was so mad that he didn't even know what to do with himself. "I hate you! I'm going to kill you, you little creep!" How did it get out of its Pokeball?! He thought he had that stupid freak locked up to avoid situations like these! This wasn't the first time the mischievous prick scared him out of his dreams and out of his bed at a god-awful time in the night.

With a loud, frustrated sigh, Miles picked himself up and looked over at the others in the room, just now acknowledging their existences. God, he probably looked like such a stupid idiot. He was in his pajamas for Arceus' sake. He didn't even have shoes on. Or any of his Pokemon. Well, besides Freak. Wherever he was. Probably watching him from the darkness and laughing. If he thought releasing Freak would do him any good, then Miles would have done it ages ago, but he knew that it'd just follow him anyway. "What're you all looking at? It's three in the morning, go to sleep or something like normal people." He noticed the Gengar floating above the red-haired boy's head and went up to the guy, ignoring him to glare up at the violet Pokemon. "I will kill you, so help me. It's three in the morning."

[Evande Sterling]

She kept her gaze upon him, remote still within the grasp of her left hand. Maris had laid her head back down upon the arm of the couch, returning to being just about as comfortable as she could be laying half on and half off an old worn down piece of seating. It was to be expected of him, a stranger, to observe the scars she possessed with little interest. Evande didn’t expect anything from him with that, simply she’d been stating a fact. Why she even bothered, she wasn’t sure. By even commenting on the fact that he’d not needed to put his eye-patch on, all she had done was manage to give the guy a reason to stick around her longer than necessary—longer than she really was comfortable having another person around her. Although, it really wasn’t like it mattered if he stuck around for some more time, mister one-eye had already called her ‘girl,’ figured her gender, so the main reason she kept people at bay was out the window….

Even if being around people was something she preferred to not do, if partly due to habit and partly because that was really how she liked it…she really didn’t have much of a reason to shoo him away at the moment. If she exchanged idle words with him for a bit, it wouldn’t hurt anything more than not since he knew.

He kept quiet, and in the silence, Evande raised her right hand up in a rather bored manner, and pushed on the bridge of her glasses, poking them up her nose a bit. A sort of melancholy seemed to possess the man as he kept hushed, before it was he suddenly gave a smile—one she recognized as somewhat forced. “Yeah, well....it's not really for your benefit. Someone I care about doesn't like seeing it. Or, she didn't like seeing it before. And she didn't really like the eye patch either...but I keep it as a reminder of my resolve. I have to find her. And I swore I would....and if anything has happened to her...well. It won't be good for whoever harmed her.” Hearing what it was he had to say…Evande raised an eyebrow, questioningly. So, the whole bit about the eye patch not being for her or whatever, that didn’t matter. The edge his voice had been laced with too at the end there…. So, he’s missing someone in his life as well? Now, of that isn’t something I can’t relate to. Tch, what are the chances of two people meeting in a Pokémon Center on some random little island at 3AM who are both looking for people…?

Leaning backward, Evande placed her arm on the back of the couch as she positioned herself to be partly supported on Maris’ middle, while it was she placed her head upon her arm, still looking at Pokémon trainer, television flickering still. There was no denying it, she was now officially curious, though the wariness persisted in conversing with him too long, natural enough given her life and situation.

“Vay…” the man’s Vaporeon nudged at his hand, seeming to sense the change in attitude her trainer had undergone.

“I’m doing it again, aren’t I girl? I’m sorry. I’ll try to stop losing myself.” He spoke to the Eeveelution, petting the Water-type on her head. Well, nice to see that the relationship he keeps with his Pokémon is decent. But getting from what he said before, sounds like this girl he’s seeking out…vanished without warning. Evande blinked, somewhat lazily before the guy turned his eye back at her…was that inquisitiveness?

Maris had her attention turned back to the Vaporeon and the Alakazam again; she was staring at the two with mild interest—partly because whatever it was that had popped up on the television was so very weird.

[b]“I lost my eye saving my little sister from an Arbok back home. The thing stuck it’s fang right into my eye.”
Ah…where was this suddenly coming from? He was revealing to her the story behind his missing eye all of a sudden? Why? She’d only showed him her own burned up hand as a means of saying that seeing the scar over his eye was of no inconvenience, not to give him the signal to suddenly spill his guts. Evande simply wound up staring at him with a weird sort of look, mind having gone blank for the fact she didn’t know how to react to him going on about how he’d lost his eye. He’s not even given me a name or asked for mine….

“I’ve been spending the last seven months trying to find her. My latest information is that she’s been sighted in the company of a man with pink hair and a Latias on these islands.” At those words, Evande stopped breathing, all sense of being weirded out gone. Ulric…? Of course, she’d heard the rumors of someone who matched her brother’s description… But to hear what she’d just heard, this guy was seeking his sister who was reportedly seen with a guy with pink hair in the company of Latias. The chances…. How is this…with Ulric? Evande stared with wide-eyes at him, brain having ceased almost all activity. “Though, I really doubt the truth of it. A Latias….but then, I don’t have any other leads. And I can’t go home again until I find her.”

Why it was this guy had so suddenly gone and told her all he had, all about his situation, she didn’t know…and though it was true that she didn’t want to wind up involved with other people, even if her biggest secret was bypassed already, from what she’d just been told…. He was looking for his sister, who had been supposedly sighted with Ulric? Evande simply kept right on staring at the trainer, who seemed unsure of why he’d told her so much too. Maris had her head up and was looking at her trainer now, she understood what the man had said, that he seemed to have been talking about Ulric and La, the news of him being in the company of this man’s sister too. It had unnerved her trainer.

“My name is Morgan. Morgan Alistair.” he spoke again, giving his name this time. That made her force herself back into reality, deciding to ruminate over this little bit of information later when perhaps alone. Shaking her head a couple of times, clearing her throat a tad before she glanced back to him, “And what about you, girl? Calling you ‘girl’ isn’t very polite, now is it?”

And so…there it was, the inevitable introductions, with chatter and conversation always came this part. Her gender was already known to him, so her name would obviously be next, but giving him her name might not be the worst thing in the world. Given what he had told her, though why he had, she didn’t know, getting his name and giving hers might not have been the worst move she could make. Reluctant was not the word to describe how she felt now though, to give even her alias to him was something she felt uncomfortable with, people, she didn’t like being around them, even if they held apparent connections with her goals too. Why Ulric would be with this guy’s sister…. At least half a minute must’ve passed by in quiet before Evande took a deep inhale, mulling over what to do.

Okay, gender known, this guy’s evidently after Ulric since his sis is apparently with him…. What do I say to him, and do I give the real name…? If he were also after Ulric, it seemed as if she and he had a commonality. But, even if that were true, did that mean she should go and divulge everything to this guy as he did for her all of a sudden? What if she did do that? Would that do her any good, would be beneficial…? Like her, he sought out the same person if only to find his sister. Why would Ulric even be with…? Ugh, seven years, I wouldn’t know the first thing about what he might be thinking now.

She chewed on her lower lip for a moment before, exhaling deeply, coming to a decision—one she was very uncomfortable with. “….my name is Evande…Sterling.” She spoke quietly, drawing her eyes downward and away, a look of anxiety played over her features as she spoke her last name. “Why it is that you up and told me all you did, I don’t know, but…it might actually be a good thing you went and spilled it.”

Hope that I don’t regret this, damn it, if only to find you Ulric. Slowly she turned and looked up at him again, “My name and gender, I’m gonna ask that you not tell them to anyone, that’s a story in itself though, it can wait. But, that bit of info you’d picked up on with your sis, the Latias with the guy is sometimes rumored as a Latios instead, y’know, and I can tell you that both versions of the story are true…. The guy with the pink hair, his name is Ulric, and I’ve been trying to find his ass for the last six years. ….he’s my older brother, and he’s been missing for the last six and a half years. What your sister would be doing with him, or vice-versa, I don’t know.”

Evande felt her heart nearly beat into her throat, “I don’t know what you’ll make of this, but I don’t either.”

However, when it was the automatic doors of the lobby suddenly slid open, and in walked a stranger—another guy who walked past the sitting area, toward the unoccupied front desk. He paid both herself and Morgan a glance before going about his business. ….whatever that was. Evande kept her crystalline eyes on him a moment before looking back up at Morgan; there was no way she was going to keep going on about this whole situation while another person was within hearing range of the conversation. The only reason she’d opened her yap about it to mister-one eye was because he held a connection to her situation. If it were true that Ulric was with his sister…. The chances of this happening, of her and him meeting like this was beyond astronomical.

A passive expression over her features, she looked back at Morgan before speaking again. “Please, as I asked before about certain matters, keep quiet, and we’ll continue this a bit later…?” she asked him, being about as vague as she could manage. Maris was staring between her trainer and this Morgan again, a sense of surprise settling in upon the serpentine Pokémon at the exchange that’d taken place between them.

The lobby was again quiet a moment, though the atmosphere rather tense due to the little talk Evande had with Morgan, it was just as suddenly shattered when yet another boy barreled through the front doors, seemingly in a panic. Forcing the automatic doors shut, the pajama-clad kid ultimately slid to the floor, back against the doors, as he seemed rather winded. Eyes drawn to him, Eva stared, a questioningly look on her features. Kid looked like he’d just bolted from bed, he had bedhead, his pajamas were a tad disheveled, and…he had no shoes. Whatever he’d been trying to get away from, Evande found herself without the need to ask as something appeared before the blonde. Is that a Ghost-type?

A scream came from him, obviously he was terrified. Hearing that shriek caused something of a laugh to slip from her, as she did her best to resist the urge to succumb to a fit of giggles, Arceus, I think that kid just managed to scream at a higher pitch than what I can manage.

The blotchy figure before the kid began to bounce about in the air, laughter coming from it. Yep, definite Ghost-type having its fun. “You little… Freak. You stupid, no good, creepy little freak!” he shouted, scrambling up to his feet. It was a Gengar, now rolling about on the floor while unable to stop from its fit. The blondie made a dive for the Pokémon, only for it to vanish away, leaving him to just hit the floor. “I hate you! I’m going to kill you, you little creep!” he went on, paying no heed to the fact that he had an audience. At least, she was watching him. Ah…Ghost-types and their trainers, those who couldn’t keep reigns over them, always such a bit of entertainment.

As he sighed, loudly, Eva watched the boy pick himself up off the floor, looking over at herself and the others, seeming to just realize that he had some onlookers…. [b]“What’re you all looking at? It’s three in the morning, go to sleep like normal people.”
he snapped, before it was he gaze seemed to travel to Morgan—or above him at least. She turned her own eyes upward as well, seeing that above the man’s head was the Gengar, floating there. [b]“I will kill you, so help me. It’s three in the morning.” Blondie glared at the Pokémon, going up to Morgan. Though he was trying to get across a warning to the violet blob of a Pokémon, Evande couldn’t help herself in thinking that even with the attempted glare, the kid was anything but threatening.

Shaking her head, and rolling her eyes, a sigh slipped from Evande. And her eyes were drawn downward as she felt movement, Maris was slinking from underneath her, moving from the couch toward Evande’s backpack. I guess she’s had enough for one night. Without a word, the Milotic had her tail slipped inside of the bag, before she was reduced to a pale blue flash of light, vanishing into the depths of her Dive Ball. It was a moment later though when there came from the pack another burst of light, which formed into a rather unusual form—an egg-shaped body took shape, before the light wore away and standing there, perched upon the tips of her feet was a Togekiss. Change of guards…?

“Evangeline…why did you pop out? You should be sleeping you know….” Evande spoke to the Flying-type, who only answered back by the call of her name before she hopped on over toward her trainer, jumping onto the couch next to her.

“Kiss, Toge~” she went on, smiling while she took a look at the Center lobby, and those people within it. She’d gotten curious about all the noise, so she’d wanted out.

Shaking her head, Evande turned her gaze back to everyone as well, before looking at the blond kid caught in his pajamas. “Y’know something kid, you told us that we should be sleeping…but of the lot, you look to be the one most ready for that since you’re still in your sleepwear.”

"Wow...busy place at three in the morning..."

Simply put, Morgan was stunned. He wanted to say something. He felt like he needed to say something. But nothing would come out.

Sterling.

Sterling.

His sister was with the Johto Leauge Champion. Or former champion, since he had disappeared and was unable to defend his title because of it. And now he was standing in front of the guy's sister, of all people. They were both searching for a lost sibling. But what would Ulric Sterling want with his youngest sister?

"Under normal circumstances, I'd say you were crazy. But...I know you're not. Because I've battled your brother, a long time ago. Five years, in fact. And I know he's in the company of a Latios. It's how he beat me. I didn't see the Latias, and I can't believe I never put two and two together, I mean really...how many people in the world have pink hair of all colors?" He scratched at his eye patch. It would seem taht he would be stuck with this girl for a while. Well, perhaps stuck was an unkind word. "But Ulric Sterling, of all people...what the hell would he want with Kari? And why here?"

He sighed, and sat down in the faded armchair angled to the couch, Rain and Trickster coming up to stand on either side of him. He glanced at Evande when she spoke again, giving a curt, simple nod. "I suppose it's only fair, but my last name is Makota, not Alistair. Alistair is my middle name, and my alias for the most part. Other people call me the Tracker. Whatever you feel like calling me, I can't say I care any which way." He sat, silent then, brooding. While it made no sense, there was no denying it either.

"Ala....kazam." The psychic-type turned his gae to the door as a rather shifty-looking kid came through them, who seemed to give both Morgan and Evande a passing glance and then ignored them. Morgan didn't even look. Why should he? He had no business with this guy. Well, unless this guy was looking for the Tracker, which by his ignorance of them, he wasn't. Which was all the better for Morgan. He had to focus on finding Kari anyway.

The doors burst open once more, admitting a rather rumpled trainer, who seemed afraid. Deathly afraid, or something at least. Once again, Morgan didn't even glance in his direction, didn't even move. At least not until the guy shreiked. Morgan jumped up out of the chair, looking around for the source of the discontent, to which he was greeted byt he sight of a ghost-type -a Gengar- having its' fun with either a random boy, or his trainer.

"Freak. You stupid, no good, creepy little freak! I hate you! I'm going to kill you, you little creep! What're you all looking at? It's three in the morning, go to sleep or something like normal people. I will kill you, so help me. It's three in the morning."

While normaly, Morgan would have left the boy and his Pokemon alone, he really didn't have a choice in the matter. The unknown boy had marched right up to him, or at him, at least, which triggered the protective natures of Morgan's own Pokemon. Trickster stepped in between Morgan and the new boy, placing a hand on him to prevent him from coming any further, while Flare cme bounding across the room, the fur on the back of his neck bristling, a growl slipping from his throat. Sora simply got up, regarding the boy with a glare, while Sparky litteraly began to spark. Jet flew down from the rafters above them to land next to Trickster, spreading his wings to their full extent. While none of them actually made a move on the guy, their intentions were clear:

Do not threaten our trainer.

Morgan sighed. "Guys, look...I really don't think he's going to hurt me. C'mon, all of you, back down." Slowly, all six of the Pokemon did so, thought reluctantly. Flare flanked Morgan's right, with Sora, Rain, and Trickter on his left. Jet perched himself on top of Flare, and Spark came running up, jumping up ontp Morgan's shoulders, still glaring at the new boy.

Morgan regarded the boy in front of him with a mild interest, but didn't actually say anything to him directly. What he did end up saying was, "Huh. Busy place for three in the morning, when normal people are supposed to sleep. Guess none of us are normal." He glanced down at the boy still glaring at the Gengar. "Well, save for pajama-boy here."

" It seems that my old home has been infested with more shallow people than when I left."

{Zachary Mellko}

Zachary had no idea that this many people were active at such an hour. He may have to rethink of his scheduled walking time, if more people were now being awake at the same time he was: hell, he might have to break his little taboo and become completely nocturnal. The idea made him shutter a little, and he made a glance down to see what his Absol was doing. To his somewhat surprise, she wasn't along side him, as she normally was. Now, Absol was known for wandering off on her own sometimes - they were fairly solitary creatures by nature - but it wasn't like Absol to leave him until daytime. Zachary stopped in his tracks, and turned around. It was then that he saw an annoying sounding child enter and start running his mouth off.

You little... Freak. You stupid, no good, creepy little freak! I hate you! I'm going to kill you, you little creep! Zachary didn't even know what to make of the child, it sounded so bizarre. For starters, the cute, puffy little Gengar was having a fit in the hilarity it saw in the situation, which didn't help Annoying child's situation at all. Well, the kid had it coming for wearing his pajamas while hunting for his pokemon - honestly, he looked like the biggest dork alive. It took everything Zach had not to laugh hysterically at how stupid the kid was, along with the Gengar's adorableness. Many thought Zachary to be weird for thinking that a Gengar was cute, but let's be honest with ourselves: to Zach, the thing just looked like a demented Jigglypuff, not an intimidating, scary object like his Phantom.

"What're you all looking at? It's three in the morning, go to sleep or something like normal people. I will kill you, so help me. It's three in the morning." Zachary didn't bother even acknowledging the question asked, for he didn't need to answer some brat in his pajamas about his travelling habits. They were put in place so things like this could be avoided, not run into to head on. With this, Zachary nearly turned his body away from the three weirdo when out of the corner of his eye he saw Absol just standing outside the door. It did this sometimes, refusing to go into buildings for some reason. Most of the time it was because there was a Castform that would possibly screw up the weather, or a storm on the way. Sometimes it was because of the people. Zack didn't know, but today he assumed it to be the three oddballs, so he shook his head and made a low whistle. The Absol seemingly nodded its head, and entered without another sound, striving gracefully towards Zack.

Zack smiled when it arrived, and bent down a little to whisper in its ear. "Looks like we got ourselves into a stupid mess here, Absol. Looks like we won't be staying long. But that little puff ball is why Phantom stays the same." He pointed towards the little Gengar, now on top of the Tracker's head, and made a little snicker before standing back up. He was done with his amusement for the day, and knew that it was time to start getting a move on. So he turned towards the counter and continued his descent on the white table.

When he finally reached there, he did something unexpected if you weren't from around the area - he hopped the table. Now, many people would freak out if they were from some big city of the mainland, or were really strict about rules and such. But in Bellflower City, there was an unwritten code between the Mellkos and the PokeCentres of the city: the Nurses didn't mind if the Zack borrowed the Pokemon Machines or medicine, as long as he didn't break anything. In return, the Nurses would get some free benefits from the BTC. But, as stated before, many people wouldn't really understand this pact if they didn't live in the area. He didn't really care about those other people, so he let the idea slip his mind that they may freak out.

In all honesty, when the thought occured to him he nearly didn't press the button to start up the machine - Zach really didn't need a bunch of losers freaking out at three in the morning. Instead, though, he pressed the button, and began to place his pokeballs in the slots. The machine purred quietly as it did so, until he soon placed all five pokeballs in the slots (Absol wasn't in its pokeball, after all). When he pressed the next button, that familiar jingle started up, the jingle that was heard throughout all Pokemon Centres across the region. It had a little bit of catchiness to it, but after hearing it a thousand times Zack swore it made his ears bleed after a while. It finally ended, and he went to grab the little red spheres and hop over the counter once again, where Absol stood waiting. Hopefully he wouldn't come across any opposition, but you never knew with weirdo foreigners.

[Miles Calvin}

Oh, he was going to get that little ghostly prick if it was the last thing he ever did; and knowing Freak, it just might be. At this point, after countless nights of sleep throughout their time together, Miles wouldn't be all too surprised if his stupid little ghost drove him to his death someday. Maybe he'd run right off a cliff or right into the wilderness where he'd be lost and alone forever, or maybe he'd snap and lose sight of the line between reality and nightmares and end up wasting away in a closet like some sort of mental case. He was small and unimportant and without caring friends or family. Nobody would go looking for him. He would be stuck in that closet tearing at his hair, rocking back and fourth for the rest of the life and the last thing he'd see is that stupid fucking Gengar.

Miles was too busy trying to grow an extra foot in the span of a second so he could reach that stupid Freak floating over Patchy's head to really acknowledge any of the people or Pokemon specifically. He eventually grew tired standing on his tip-toes, however, and was forced to face them all equally, eyes landing on them all, but lingering on Pinky. S'that a girl or a guy? Jeezus, we've got more weirdos in this area than I even thought. Not to mention the people running the shabby hotel he'd been staying in. It was some really old couple that he swore were going to die any given moment. It should be illegal to be that old and still alive. And their minds were gone with their bodies. All the old guy ever talked about was stuff from his childhood that Miles was almost a hundred percent sure didn't actually happen and the old lady came up to his room six times in an hour asking him if he needed anything because she apparently forgot that she was just there two seconds ago.

He felt something press against him and he glared down at the hand of an Alakazam. Strong Pokemon, but not entirely unique. No interest. "Guys, look...I really don't think he's going to hurt me. C'mon, all of you, back down." Miles rolled his eyes. As if he was scared of some lame group of Pokemon anyway. Who was this guy anyway? Nobody famous. Was he? Hm, that could be pretty cool. He guessed he was just being kind of cranky since it was past three in the morning and he'd been forcibly woken up on the wrong side of the bed. "Huh. Busy place for three in the morning, when normal people are supposed to sleep. Guess none of us are normal." Who're you calling not normal, Patchy the Pirate? "Well, save for pajama-boy here." Miles blew out his cheeks, glaring at the guy, but not bothering to shoot out a comeback.

“Y’know something kid, you told us that we should be sleeping…but of the lot, you look to be the one most ready for that since you’re still in your sleepwear.” Pinky spoke up and Miles barked out a bitter laugh, rolling his eyes and waving her off with a scoff. He looked back up above Patchy's head and realized Freak was no longer floating there. He started looking around the area, but couldn't find the little prick, so he stayed on his guard. Now that he knew it was just Freak and not some monster formed from his nightmares, Miles wasn't afraid of it. Right now, all he really wanted to do was go back to the hotel, pack all his stuff, and leave early. Who cared? It was the next day anyway and now that he was all wired up, he wasn't really tired enough to sleep anymore. He wouldn't trust sleeping again after all this anyway.

"Oh! Hah! Ha. Ha. Ha. I get it! Because I'm wearing pajamas and it's night time! Great jokes, people! Did the parents that abandoned you people tell you what great comedians you are?" Oh, wow, yeah, he was definitely cranky. Okay, maybe he could tone it down a little but he certainly wasn't going to apologize. They started it. He jumped at the sudden sound of the medical equipment starting up and he looked over his shoulder to see who was using it. If it was a Nurse Joy, he was going to leave Freak with her. Forever. Let the little prick be her problem. He wanted to ask the guy what he was doing, but that was probably obvious. He was healing his Pokemon. But he was healing them without the assistance of a nurse. Just who appointed him Mr. High and Mighty rulebreaker of the PokeCenter?

What really kept Miles from saying anything was seeing Freak waiting for the guy above the absol when the guy hopped back to the right side of the counter. He scowled at it, shooting Pinky and Patchy a quick look before going over to it and grabbing it. Freak yelped and disappeared from his arms and Miles stomped childishly on the ground. "Okay, all three of you. I will give you sweet cash if you can catch me that stupid freak of a Pokemon." He snapped his fingers. "Come on, snap snap, get to it. Winner wins all. We don't have all night, ladies."

[Evande Sterling]

So, Morgan’s Pokémon went protective over him while the silent guy near the counter went ahead and healed up his own Pokémon without the attendance of the Nurse Joy as Shortie-pajama boy went cranky. Evande simply stared at the three men, expression relatively dull. Three o’clock in the morning, and this is what was happening…so much for getting her journey off to a calm start when dawn approached. From quietly watching horrible early-morning television while dreading this new part of her travels, to finding that her brother was being sought out by someone she just so happened to meet by pure chance. And from that, to this little scene. Really, she couldn’t blame Maris for slinking back into her Poké Ball, in truth, if she had one herself, she would’ve probably done the same. Maris was never much one for being around more than a few people; she preferred her solitude unless the human company kept was that of her trainer.

And as Evande was, the only company she really liked to keep was of her Pokémon, people were usually rejected and kept at bay, if anything else…though that usually was due to the safety and sanctity of her secret. Which had been spoiled already, in Morgan’s case. Even if she were uncomfortable still with the notion of him knowing that she really was a she, he knew, and knew her circumstances and full name. Though, she knew of his background too.

He knew of her brother, and for whatever the reason, was looking for him as well, as it seemed his younger sister was with him. She didn’t know why Ulric would have with him this guy’s little sis…but then again, she hadn’t seen her brother for years, so, she knew nothing of him anymore. The fact that Morgan had met her brother—and the fact that Ulric had bested him…. What irony this seemed to be. No matter how it was she felt about keeping human company, it was something she’d have to endure for the time being, given that it appeared as if Morgan and she shared a commonality.

The other two guys though, Shortie and the one with the Absol, yeah…they were really of no interest or concern to her since they seemed to have nothing to do with all this. For now, they were just a part of the night, the prelude of this new chapter in her journey. Meanwhile, Evangeline was curiously and eagerly looking back and forth between the people. The Flying-type Pokémon was always so happy and so enjoyed observing others. Evande’s eyes were set upon the Pokémon; a tiny smile crept over her features. The Togekiss had been with her since she’d just been a Togepi, after certain tragic circumstances, and she was still the same as ever, kind, sweet…extremely protective over her trainer if she was threatened.

For as insane as this was at the moment, with the strangers and all the activity at three AM, Evande was feeling abnormally calm—the sense of dread she’d felt before about starting anew again seemed to have died away a bit. Perhaps finding someone who had a common goal in mind as her, finding a sibling, had done her some good.

A small sigh slipped from her lips as she reach out and patted the Togekiss on her head, making her look back at her trainer. “Toge?”

Evangeline was greeted with a smile, “Inquisitive as ever, aren’t we?”

“Kiss, Togekiss~”

When it was that Shortie pajama boy began to go at it again, both Evande and Evangeline turned their gazes back at him. “Okay, all three of you. I will give you sweet cash if you can catch me that stupid freak of a Pokemon.” He started snapping his fingers, “ Come on, snap snap, get to it. Winner wins all. We don't have all night, ladies.” Kid had some guts, no doubt about that...some attitude too.

Evande simply continued to stare at him rather blankly; he had issues with his Gengar and wanted help from strangers in order to wrangle it up. She could only shake her head with a sigh at him, as it was that Evangeline tilted her head to the side questioningly. “Sorry pajama-boy, not interested in money. If you’ve got issues with your Pokémon, it’s your job as their trainer to sort it out.” She spoke, voice rather blunt.

At her speaking though, Evangeline moved away from her trainer’s hand, and hopped over the back of the couch, heading over toward the blonde boy. The Togekiss stopped near his feet, staring up at him, “Togekiss?”

"This kid...is asking for it."

Morgan had just about had it with this kid. It was easy to see that the trainer was upset. The veins in his forehead had begun to bulge out, and his Pokémon were shifting uneasily in response to his annoyance. This kid wanted them to help him find his Pokémon...for cash?! Morgan grit his teeth, his hands balled into fists.

“Sorry pajama-boy, not interested in money. If you've got issues with your Pokémon, it’s your job as their trainer to sort it out.”

Morgan clenched his teeth in an effort to keep his mouth shut. He didn't need to lose his temper right now. He had to worry about having Evande tagging along with him now, seeing as the siblings they were both looking for seemed to be together. With that thought, Morgan forced his body to relax, and stuck his left hand in his pocket, grabbing the dog tag around his neck, lifting it up. "Look kid, I don't take money as payment for my services as the Tracker, and besides that, I don't find Pokémon that aren't actually missing. You find your own Pokémon, it's your issues with it, not mine. You don't know how to control him, then you're not very fit to be a trainer, let alone demand help from complete strangers. Money doesn't solve everything."

He called back five of his Pokémon, while Flare stayed put by his trainers' side. The Arcanine usually stayed out, especially when something was bothering Morgan. Without another word, he sat down again, Flare laying next to the chair. He went back to his original musings, trying to figure out just what the connection was between Evande's brother Ulric and Kari. Nothing came to mind. But the battle that he had had with the former Johto League Champion did. It had been one of Morgan's more notable losses, as both he and Ulric had been down to their last Pokémon, Morgan had Rain left, and Ulric had let out his Latios. It had been Morgans' first sighting of the Legendary Dragon-type.

Morgan sighed. Remembering an old battle wasn't going to help him now. Until of course he remembered what Ulric had said to him.

"I will help my little sister, and no novice like you is going to stop me. Though I will admit, you do have some skill. People have begun to call you the Tracker, it seems you're good at finding things. When you've gotten stronger, come find me, maybe then you can beat me, Morgan Makota."

It had been awhile since he had thought about what Ulric had said to him. Morgan glanced over at Evande. What did he mean, when he said he was going to help her? She looked well off to Morgan. But then, what was on the surface was never the whole story, Morgan knew that from experience.

Aqua Camilla Summers

Even for a girl living in the wild Aqua was dirty. From head to toe she was covered in dirt. The pokemon whom traveled with the girl sneered at her uncleanliness. What Aqua really needed was a nice bath. Not seeing a clean water source like a pond around, Aqua headed to the “Inn.” She was unsure what an inn really was or how they worked, but she knew they weren’t houses (which she feared) and there was, according to a woman on the street, a way to get clean.

When Aqua reached the front desk and saw the innkeeper, she set a bill up. “Will this cover a shower?” She asked the woman.

However, the woman seemed puzzled. It was as though she couldn’t tell whether Aqua was joking or not.

Then, Aqua threw a wad of money on the desk. “How about this?” She asked, rubbing her nose.

The woman seemed rather disgusted, but took a portion of the money and responded with obvious distaste, “This will be plenty. Your room is the third on your left. Enjoy your night.” She pointed Aqua in the right direction.

Aqua nodded as she headed to the room. When she saw that the numbers on the door matched her key, she fiddled with it simply trying to figure out how to get it. She was like a baby fiddling with a toy she had never seen before.

Eventually, the wild child made it into her room. Her pokemon seemed to love the soft beds, for that’s where they plopped. Aqua was ready to get clean. Unfortunately, she didn’t see a pond in her room either… Unless one were to count the thing in a tile room that whirled when the handle had been pushed down. All in all, Aqua had no idea what to think. She headed back to the front desk.

Instead of a lady being there, she saw a man… She wondered where the woman went, but ran as far away from the desk as possible. There was no way in heck she would go anywhere near a man! They were so scary… Aqua had never been around one before!

Back in her room, Aqua continued to fiddle with things in the tile room. She found a pipe that poured down from a pipe when she turned a sphere… It was like a man-made waterfall. Was that how she was to get clean? And what were the bottles beside the porcelain box of the fake waterfall? Aqua shrugged and rubbed them on her as she stood in the water. Not knowing the dangers, she inserted it into her eyes and screamed from the agony. Immediately, she rinsed them out with water.

When finished, the soaked girl laid on the bed. When she did, she realized that she grew more an more dry as the bed became more wet. Was that the true purpose of a bed? To absorb water from oneself and their clothes? Aqua rolled until she was only damp. Then she went on the patio with her pokemon and laid down to rest up a bit. Concrete wasn’t as comforting as grass though… Apollo hid in his shell against Aqua as they rested together.

On the concrete, Aqua could not sleep. So, she merely laid there with her friends and watched the sky as the clouds were pushed away by the wind.

" And this, ladies and gentlelosers, is why I stay the hell away from people. "

{Zachary Mellko}

Zach didn't believe that karma loved him, but there were times that it was keen on slapping him in the face.

So far, Zach had come across two things he hated: The Lobelia Islands, and lots of people. Zach had always used his schedule to avoid people, not run into the stupid, weird ones. Shutting out all the damn noise they were making, Zacky focused on the stupidity of the situation: so far, an annoying bitchy kid showed up in pajamas and was getting pissed because his pokemon gave him no respect. Pretty damn obvious to Zack what the kid's problem was, but he kept that to himself. Now, the Patchy dude and the Pinky s/he person seemed to be wanting to discuss something and keep that their own business, which Zack was happy to oblige: he didn't need to but into the conversations and priorities of losers, that was for certain. If he did, Zack might be forced to do something or even help! That instantly left a bitter taste in his mouth, and he seriously realized that he needed to get the hell out of there before something like that occurred.

Too late. Apparently, the annoying blonde kid had a pair of working ears - so rare nowadays... - and was picking up on all the little jokes being made about his clothing. Oh! Hah! Ha. Ha. Ha. I get it! Because I'm wearing pajamas and it's night time! Great jokes, people! Did the parents that abandoned you people tell you what great comedians you are? Zack had just jumped over the counter at the time, so the kid couldn't see the muscles tense of Zack's body, or the teeth clench. This was NOT the place for a fight, Zack had to remind himself, but the little bitch kid was seriously going to get hurt if he continued along this topic. Zack's parents were not something he liked to bring up with anyone, not even his pokemon. Ever. End of story, nothing else was wrote. Even if the comment made no sense to Zack in this situation, it still pissed him right off.

Coming back to the present, Zack realized that the cute little Gengar was seemingly waiting for him on Absol, who only seemed mildly amused. He was only a few steps away from the counter, and looked down to see the little thing floating around in its hilarity and cuteness - he should really stop calling it cute, but it was! Out of the corner of his eye, which was unhindered by his sunglasses as they were in his pocket, he saw a little Togekiss with Pinky, which was another adorable one. What is it with these people and carrying around freaking adorable pokemon?! Honestly, it might make me do some unnecessary outreaching, and then shit would hit the fan. Zack shook his head, which caused him to miss the little blonde rush over and attempt to grab it. That too was even more hilarious, but this time he couldn't keep it in. A few snickers were let out of his mouth as he turned his head away, and Absol was in seeming agreement - Zack swore it could cackle sometimes.

Okay, all three of you. I will give you sweet cash if you can catch me that stupid freak of a Pokemon. Come on, snap snap, get to it. Winner wins all. We don't have all night, ladies." Another snicker and it was all over. Zack had lost the humor in the situation after that moment, with the reminder of why he hated people, especially this kid's kind. Here was the kind of uselessness that Zack didn't mind beating up whatsoever, the kind of uselessness that made Zack want to abandon the sliver of hope he had for humanity - it was given to him by Lance - and just shoot somebody. Zack turned back to the kid, his piercing green eyes hard and stoney as he listened to the responses of the other two wannabes.

Sorry pajama-boy, not interested in money. If you’ve got issues with your Pokémon, it’s your job as their trainer to sort it out. At least Pinky was to the point and honest. It was basically what that loser needed to hear.

Money doesn't solve everything. Zack could actually argue that last point, but who the hell wanted to argue with people? Waste of time.

Now that Tracker and Pinky were out of the way, it seemed that Zack had to say something to, as a finisher or some bullshit like that. Instead, Zack did the opposite of what probably everybody was expecting: he gave a small, sinister smirk and made a single whistle. Out of his ball, Phantom was revitalized, and completely himself by coming out laughing that cackle he would. As a Haunter, even though he was the lower evolution of that ball-like Gengar, Zack hadn't a doubt that it could probably kick that little thing's ass before sunrise. However, that wasn't why he was called out. Zack gave a sideways glace towards Phantom, and the Haunter flew on over for a little whisper from Zack.

"Find me that fuzzball." Phantom seemingly understood, and it gave a sinister smile towards the annoying kid, as if to mark him as his next victim. Then the Haunter simply flew around to the shadow that Zack was making, and stuck his tongue out at it. Zachary merely turned around, and noticed that there was a little bit of a temperature drop - the sign that a Gengar was hiding behind him. All Zack did, however, was pull out a special treat from his coat pocket - a grey pokeblock, specially made during his travels. Now, he knew that Gengar really didn't eat much besides dreams and souls - you know, normal eating habits - but not many could resist a grey pokeblock. Zack also knew that Gengar loved practical jokes, as his Phantom did, so this would play right into his hand. He looked down, bent his knees some, began to whisper. "Alrighty Fuzzy, here is how this is gunna go down. I give you this block here, and you scare the shit out of your trainer for me."

The block must have been tempting enough, because as soon as he dropped it onto his shadow the block disappeared. Zack gave a smirk, and stood back up straight to turn around and wait for the magic to appear. Already he could see the Gengar appearing behind his own trainer, and Zack's malicious little smirk stayed throughout the entire show.

After it was done, Zack lost the smirk and spoke in his normal fashion - rude. "There you go, prickstick, your pokemon is back. And keep your money - dumbasses like you are need something to be able to hold on to."

[Miles Calvin}

Miles was in no mood for this crap. It was too early in the morning and he'd gone to bed much too late last night to be dealing with any of this. He'd gotten a whole two hours of sleep and he could feel the beauty draining out of him. He hated ghost Pokemon. He hated them with such a burning, fiery passion that if he had the chance to eliminate them all completely from the face of the Earth, he would do so in a heartbeat, laughing maniacally as he did so. And for god's sake, these people were just as useless as a newborn Caterpie. They were either ignoring him completely--rude--or doing their own thing, or, he swore, doing everything in their powers to go against him. He was going to burst a blood vessel. He just wanted someone to catch his stupid Pokemon for him. It wasn't like he was asking them for the crown off Liberty's head or anything. Was it that hard to help a guy out? He'd even pay. But noooo. Everything had to be difficult!

Well screw these people! “Sorry pajama-boy, not interested in money. If you’ve got issues with your Pokémon, it’s your job as their trainer to sort it out.” Ohhh and especially you, Miss Mister Whatever You Are. Pajama-boy. Pinky had hair down to his butt and he had the nerve to call him, Miles, pajama-boy. What kind of ludicrous statement was that. He was so done. He was two hundred percent done. A thousand percent done. He was so far done, that he was ready to abandon ship and storm the hell out of this stupid place to go back to catching up on his precious beauty sleep. “Togekiss?” Oh and what, exactly, was this supposed to be?

Miles had half a mind to take his frustration out on this pitiful looking Pokemon by kicking it clear across the room, but he resisted when Patchy the no-good Pirate spoke up from across the room. Money doesn't solve everything." Miles responded to that little speech by promptly mocking him, mouthing the words and making faces as he did it before scoffing and stomping his foot like a child having a temper tantrum. He was the probably the same age as this guy. He didn't need to be given some sort of lame little speech of honor from a guy in an eye patch. He didn't caaaare.

He wondered. If these people were so absolutely annoyed by his presence--a fact that even Miles was able to pick up on after long enough--then all they had to do was give him what he wanted and he would leave them all alone, probably never see them again. And what he wanted, all he wanted, was for one of them to catch his no good Gengar and he'd be on his way. He heard the guy behind the counter mumbling about something, but ignored him to focus on the Togekiss at his feet. He picked it up despite its wings and studied it, turning it side to side. Boring. Kind of ugly. Small. Weak. Annoying. He wanted nothing more to do with it. His mother used to remind him that just because a Pokemon appeared weak and average, that it could be so much more. And he was aware that Togekiss was a moderately rare Pokemon to come across, but he still wasn't interested. He didn't know much about them, but he knew he didn't really care either way. "There you go, prickstick, your pokemon is back. And keep your money - dumbasses like you are need something to be able to hold on to."

Miles turned around, glaring at the guy. "What do you mean 'there you go.' Where's the Freak at?" As if on cue, the shadow that he should have realized never moved with him, flew up and into his face, way too close and way too intimidating. Miles dropped any of his bearing and tripped over his own feet, hitting the floor with a resounding thunk that followed a girlish shriek. His Gengar was laughing at him before he even hit the ground. The guy too. And all his stupid Pokemon. God dammit. He was so pissed off. Miles realized he was practically squeezing the life out of the poor Togekiss in his arms and promptly let it go altogether, dropping it to the ground and letting it hover back to its owner. When he got to his feet, Miles glared again at the dark-haired guy, resisting the urge to jab him in the chest only for the fact that he was bigger than him. "You did that on purpose! You told him to do that, didn't you? Jerk!"

He let out a sigh of aggravation, once again stomping on the ground. He turned his icy glare to Freak, who was hovering around him in casual circles, still enjoying himself. "Are you coming with me now?" Freak's grin grew and he nodded, causing a smaller sigh to slip from Miles' lips. "Whatever." When he looked up, he noticed the sight of the sun rising in the distance and felt like crying. There was no way he was getting anymore sleep today. He knew it was impossible. "I'm leaving. Forget it." And with that, he was heading out the door with his Gengar close in tow.

[Evande Sterling]

Evande kept her gaze upon the pajama-clad boy when it was he picked Evangeline up off the ground and promptly proceeded to exam her, as if she were a specimen of sorts. Well…Togekiss were rather unusual Pokémon to come across, rare really.... Usually one would only ever see one in the presence of its trainer, finding one in the wild would only occur under freak circumstances. Such as how I met Eva.... Even Togepi alone, the base form of a Togekiss, were extremely rare to come across in the wild as well. Though not as rare to find as a Togekiss. The seemingly bed-bound boy looked over the Flying-type Pokémon after it was he’d gotten some words from Morgan, and some ‘assistance’ it would seem, from the other man in retrieving his ill-behaved Gengar.

Evangeline herself turned her head so that she could stare quizzically at the boy holding her too, she didn’t quite get why it was that he’d gone and hoisted her upward as he had. There was no reason for it really. Even if she had been curious about him....

While it was he was still holding onto Evangeline, the boy turned around, and rather rudely addressed the trainer with the Absol. “What do you mean 'there you go.' Where's the Freak at?” he gave a glare, sounding as snippy as ever. Evande felt herself tense up a bit, the boy was holding onto her Pokémon still—and she knew better than anyone that Evangeline, while normally very sweet and gentle, had to her a temperament which was subject to change at the drop of a hat if she got upset or were startle…and bellying that unassuming appearance of hers, the Togekiss was actually quite the powerful thing.... I have a feeling this isn’t gonna end so well.

She had no business with the boy, had he not been holding onto Eva, she’d have gone back to minding her own business and her own situation regarding the whole matter of her and Morgan evidently having both their missing siblings rumored to be traveling together now. Until it was he actually released the Togekiss though, she was going to keep her bespectacled gaze on him.

Suddenly enough though, even startling her a bit, the boy’s Gengar flew up from what had appeared to be his shadow, and flew right into the boy’s face, causing him to stumble over his own two feet, yelping at a pitch higher than what she herself could manage. Topping that off…he was squeezing Evangeline about as hard as he could manage, Evande could see the distress upon the Pokémon’s face, and hear her utter something of a squeak, “Toge!!” She squirmed about in pajama boy’s arms, trying to get free of his death grip. Quickly enough the Togekiss did get released from it…and she quickly headed back toward Evande, but…her freedom wasn’t enough to keep it from happening. Eva remained airborne while the boy was talking to his Gengar, her gaze set upon him—a rather unhappy look gracing the usually serene Pokémon’s features.

“Kiss....” Evande heard her somewhat seethe, which caused her to look up and over at the Togekiss, a tentative expression upon the trainer’s face. The boy had stunned Evangeline, and possibly hurt her as well…whenever that sort of thing happened, the bird-esque Pokémon often wound up fuming. Oh, Arceus,

Quietly, Evande spoke to her Pokémon; tone of voice a careful and cautioning one. “Evangeline…stay calm now please.”

She turned her gaze back upon her trainer at hearing herself addressed, but still, she was definitely mad.

“I’m leaving. Forget it.” the boy spoke, headed for the front door of the Center. The sun was beginning to rise…the dawn that marked the new leg of her journey had arrived and she was on no sleep, surrounded by those who were otherwise strangers, one of whom who was aware of her secret and had a connection to her as well. Evande was still looking at her Pokémon who had looked at the blonde boy when she heard he was ‘leaving,’ though her trainer had cautioned her....

Quicker than Evande could register, or even blink, the Flying-type was on the move, jetting straight for the boy who’d nearly squeezed the life out of her. As soon as she realized it, Evande was on her feet, a clear glower over her features, knowing well enough what it was the Pokémon intended on doing. Evangeline was on her way to Headbutt the pajama-clad boy to get back at him for how he’d treated her. “Eva! No!

Of course, she didn’t listen…and Evande knew well enough that she was powerless to stop her Pokémon given that her Poké Ball was out of reach. The Togekiss would hit her mark, if the boy didn’t dodge or if his Pokémon didn’t do something.

A small gathering of islands compiled together to form one; flat and barren by the standards of the other islands around it, this place is one which is known for the fact that it is otherwise uninhabited by people . . . and for its grasslands. However, lying upon the edge of the largest landmass in this little grouping happens to be a strange and discomforting place. Bearing rocks and strange formations that cannot be logically explained, this spot is eerie and unsettling, as opposed to the rather lax atmosphere of the rest of the area.

Amaryllis Village

Mullein Island

The smallest island of the Lobelia group. Located upon it is not much of particular interest, other than the fact that the place is peaceful, calm and serene, it provides a nice change of pace for anyone who might be tired of Bellflower City's hustle and bustle. One particular thing of interest here, happens to be fact that a number of tropical wild flowers are known to bloom here year round, all over the island.

Delphinium Island

A reportedly dangerous island. Upon it are two freshwater lakes and a rather deep and foreboding jungle. Despite the fact that there are reports of rare Pokemon inhabiting the jungles of this place, many trainers are not courageous enough to brave the thick foliage in order to seek them out . . . and for that they cannot be blamed. There is not a single human soul who consistently inhabits this island, as such it is mostly untouched, with no traces of human life to be found but for a single, collapsing ruin housed deep within the jungle flora.

Anemone Island

The largest island of the collection, it holds to it the most noteworthy sites and places, including the resort metropolis known as Bellflower City.

Begonia Island

The remnants of a once-very large volcano. Having collapsed into itself long ago during a past eruption, what now remains is a crescent shaped mass of land that still produces lava. Because of how it is the land reshaped itself following the large scale eruption, one is able to walk along the rim of the crater remnants to gaze down into the bowels of the earth to see it belching up magma.

Phlox Village

An abandoned settlement nestled on the side of Mt. Gelare. Nearly every building here has become dilapidated and hazardous. Why it was that people up and left this place suddenly is unknown, but there are stories of it being cursed, of people vanishing into the night to never be seen again . . . nowadays it's mostly an avoided site, but those few people who have decided to wander here sometimes have been known to disappear entirely, or to return from this place seemingly so anxious that they refuse to speak of what occurred.

The Iapetus Cliffs - Sanctuary of Coelus

A series of sharp, steep cliff faces located rather close to Bellflower City. A dangerous place, this jagged and rather haphazard location was once a hub of interest for researchers and explorers. Located within its grasp is a ruined and desolate temple. Nothing but ruins now, this crumbling sanctuary is full of murals and hieroglyphs that no one has been able to decipher thanks to the language being one completely lost to time, and unique to the Lobelia Islands. From what people have been able to discern, however, the temple within the Cliffs was one dedicated to the Pokemon who was the embodiment of Space; Palkia. . . .

Diamond Dust Trail

A strange bog that is often engulfed in a very thick mist. Called by its known name because of the fact that this mist seems to consume all who enter into it. This place is rather desolate, and is avoided by the few who choose not to heed the warnings and rumors about it. Just what may lie within this foggy place is unknown, even to those who have investigated it and managed to return. . . .

Mt. Gelare - The Crystal Grounds

Florens Woods - Clearing of Grace

The woods which surround Mt. Gelare, known to possess a worn and beaten pathway that happens to encircle the base of the mountain, this verdant patch of woodland also houses the easiest manner in which to ascend it. Branching off the main path is a nearly forgotten way into the deeper reaches of the forest, and into the stony grasp of Mt. Gelare. Traces of stone and ruins can be found scattered throughout the thick foliage of these woods, what they are and what they were is unknown as they are too damaged and lost to time to know. It is said that two legends can be found within this place.

Marituma Cave

Anemone Island Marituma Cave Owner: RolePlayGateway

A seaside cave where it is that people can come to simply watch the sea . . . it is notable for the fact that it provides an uninhibited viewing of the ocean and the waves which come rolling in onto the shore. Occasionally, abnormally large Pokemon have been known to show up here, whether caught by an angler or merely because of other reasons.

Temple of the Forgotten

A nearly forgotten ruin settled upon a small outcrop of land on the boundaries of Anemone Island. Known in the past for the fact that it was sealed up for reasons unknown, and that no matter what was attempted, the temple seal remained impenetrable. To this day it is unknown what lies within the walls of this place, the only clues are the fragmented bits of truth left to the people of Amaryllis Village, and those bits of truth regard the beginnings of a dark myth, which would be better to leave to mere memory. . . .

Lichen Port - The Hot Springs

A rather simplistic port that serves as the point of arrival for most people intent on visiting Begonia Crater. There is not much of interest in this particular place, and there are not many people who actually call this place their home, but those few who do should be noted for their pride in carving out a living in such a hostile place. Along with the locals pride, one thing to note within this Port is the natural Hot Springs which can be accessed from inside the Pokemon Center here.

I don't know, but I'm sad about it D:

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

Where did everyone go?!?!?!?!?!

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

I love Chrome...it's never given me any problems at all.

Can I expect some posts in this soon?

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

Given my luck, it didn't come as that much of a surprise to me, I've had a lot of very odd stuff happen to me that shouldn't like that. XD As soon as I rebooted my computer, I deleted Chrome and went back to IE.

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

O.o That is probably the weirdest story I have ever heard - an internet browser creating the BSoD xD

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

....I use Internet Explorer, though I recently faced an upgrade to IE 10 due to changing computers, and I've never had many problems out of Internet stuff. I tried Google Chrome once and it didn't end well, my computer did a blue screen of death.

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

Well, it seems i just need to use another browser :p (curse you Firefox, you are letting me down!! D: )
Anywho... yeah...

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

Geez, I'm sorry to hear that Joker. >.<

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

it seems the new format is messing with my internet or something, as i am unable to stay on the site for very long without it kicking me off, stating that this page 'could not be found' -.-

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

Ahah...I'll be posting tomorrow, don't expect Evangeline to have taken getting the life half-squeezed out of her in peace. XD She is something of a gentle peaceful Pokemon, but she has her limits....

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

Ohgosh Twi, if Morgan ever hit Miles, I would probably reward you xD He deserves it. That poor little Togekiss..!

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

Pfffftt, I love how immature Miles is...and how oblivious he is to his own immaturity. XD He's quite the hilarious character...and one that will annoy the pure hell out of Morgan. Morgan really just wants to punch him in the face right now. And probably will, at some point. ^^

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

And Zack's response is now up! A little less vulgar then I had imagined, but whatever.
I shall apologize in advance now if, for some reason, the Gengar objects to being told what to do. :P

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

Thanks ^_^

Yeah, I rescue cats all the time... Since the start of college I have rescued 5 cats and that one would make six... But I have to get him/her to trust me first. He/she seems to have been abused so it'll take time... Mom says if anyone can gain this cat's trust, it would be me. I don't know about that... but if he/she is still there Monday and I fail again, I'm going to contact an animal rescue and hope they can get him/her. D: Poor little one stuck outside in the snow...

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

Don't worry Laz, I would have totally gone after that cat - I'm pretty sure it is in my nature :P

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

Aaaaaand posted, but it is really rough and bad... I'm really sorry... -_- I'll do better next time...

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

I WILL post before I go to sleep, but most of my day was spent trying to rescue a kitty outside a theater... As soon as I was an inch away, I lost balance and scared him/her away... That's why I have yet to post and I am really, really sorry... D: I just felt that the kitty needed a warm place to stay and even though we didn't get him/her today, we're going to try again Monday... Sorry... D: I'm a huge animal person...

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

My post will be up tomorrow - I was trying to finish another RPs post, and couldn't even get that done - random guests showing up at my house and all ._.

Re: Pokemon: Stories of a Slumbering Sun

I'll be posting tonight or tomorrow.. Sorry for taking so long to jump in. Mir knows why, but I should have talked to everyone else here too... D: I plan on posting tonight, but today hasn't been so great so I might have to wait until tomorrow depending on what my creative flow says... Sorry T_T
