Basic Appearance
Jay stands at only about 5’ and has an athletic physique. She has mossy green eyes and reddish brown hair that reaches down to her waist with short, wispy bangs. Her skin is naturally olive; however, changes quickly to a paler shade when she is away from the sun. She wears her hair up in a ponytail with a large bow in it when she is in a situation that she feels requires her full concentration, but she likes to take it down whenever she can. She also has a rather long scar on her shoulder from a horrible day on the pier of Vermilion City [see Argos’ history].

Personality
Jay is often described as quirky yet passive. She has many small personality and physical traits about her that make Jay who she is; however, she resents showing much emotions. Generally, Jay can be described as the strong, silent type except for when she is angry or excited. She is the type of girl that keeps quiet when she is uninterested or when her opinion is unneeded; however, her voice is commanding enough so that when she wants to be heard, she will not be interrupted. Some would see her as lazy - which she might be - but in truth, she just rarely does things that she does not like.

Jay is very easily frustrated; however, she often refuses to show this. Some who are close to her like her father can tell when she is irritated by slight changes in her facial features; however, it is unlikely that other people would realize this. The downside to her bottled-up emotions is that she will sometimes burst at the seams and hurt everyone around her - emotionally, physically, or both.

Although Jay may be a brick wall in the sense of showing emotions, she is fiercely loyal to anyone whom she feels deserves it. Loyalty is one of the things that Jay values the most. If you get on her good side, she will stick with you until the day she dies. It takes a lot to break her loyalty and it seldom happens. This can sometimes turn out to be a bad thing when Jay allies herself with the wrong people, but she is normally a good judge of character.

Jay has also been seen as uninterested and a slacker. She often has an expression of uncaring on her face, but the truth is that she simply will not participate in a conversation or activity if she feels that she has nothing of importance to say. This is also the reason that Jay is often seen as a slacker. However, Jay is rather intelligent and chooses to only show it when absolutely necessary.

As for humor, Jay has a bitterly sarcastic sense of humor which is used as a sort of defense mechanism. She normally uses it when she is afraid that she is showing too much emotion. This is why her sarcastic humor often comes out at the most inappropriate times. In reality, she is just too scared that she will show too much of her true emotions.

Brief History
Jay was born in Vermilion, Kanto with her father and a mother who was uninterested in having a child. At the age of six, Jay's father was forced to move for a short period of time. Jay went with him, but her mother made some lousy excuse for staying behind. They had little communication with Jay's mother from that point on. A year later, Jay and her father moved back home to find that her mother was not there anymore. Apparently, she had been lying to them when they spoke over the phone. She had left only two months after Jay and her father moved. Jay was not necessarily heartbroken. She had never liked her mother much, but she still never expected her to be so cruel to her poor 7-year-old daughter. This was the beginning of Jay's stony exterior. She knew that her father was busy trying to make ends meet for both of them, so she kept in her anger and her intense need to scream at the top of her lungs. She did this because she did not want her father to have anything more to worry about other than what he absolutely had to. Without a mother figure, Jay grew up loving her father and looking up to him more than anyone else. He was a researcher for diseases - both Pokemon and human. Jay didn't truly want to go into to the business her father dealt with, but she looked up to him by means of morals and ways of living.

The day Jay turned ten, she begged her father to take her out to catch a Pokemon of her own. Although he made her wait a week after her birthday, Jay's father eventually gave her his Pidgey and a Pokeball and let her go out on her own to find a Pokemon. She set out, searching the fields for a good Pokemon. That's when she found a grey Eevee battling with a Rattata. Instead of capturing the Eevee, Jay battled the Rattata. After the battle, she scooped the Eevee up in her arms and took her to the nearest Pokecenter. That was the start of Jay's great friendship with Eona. [See Eona's history]. Although Eona has never been in a Pokeball, there is an unspoken promise between the two that they will be loyal to the other forever.

After that, Jay and her father moved a lot and her father traveled even more. Jay caught Argos when they moved back to Vermilion for a few months [see Argos' history]. About a year later, she caught Striker and then Empress [see their histories]. She spent a while with just those four Pokemon before finally deciding that a new teammate was in order. She decided on a flying-type and so she set out to catch another new teammate. She eventually caught the perfect Taillow and named her Ace. Ace was a sweet, beautiful bird who became a sort of mediator for the team. She could stop any ensuing argument between teammates and still come out with no one even the slightest bit angry with her. Everyone loved her and saw her as a little sister for whom they would have done anything to protect.

It had been a year with Ace on the team and Jay was considering catching another Pokemon. She had gone out to see what was near the new town her and her father were staying in. As they walked along the path, a malicious trainer jumped them with his Mightyena. The large dog Pokemon was about to attack Jay, but Ace heroically flew in to save her. Although Jay ended up winning the battle and the trainer and his Mightyena ran away with their tails between their legs, Ace had sustained multiple injuries. They rushed Jay to the PokeCenter and waited patiently to get the news. However, the nurse came out with the news that they were all hoping not to hear. Ace hadn't made it. They were all hit hard by the loss of one of their favorite teammates, but Jay was hit the hardest. She slipped into a depression that neither her father nor her Pokemon could seem to get her out of. She believed herself to be a horrible trainer and that Ace's death was completely her fault. At one point, she tried to release her four Pokemon, but they refused to leave her.

Oddly enough, the thing that brought her back from the depression was the return of her mother. Somehow, when Jay was about 17, her mother had found the city that Jay and her father were staying at the time. She came to their door and Jay knew her voice immediately from the last time she heard ever heard it at the age of six. Jay listened carefully to the words that her mother spoke and deducted that she had simply come to beg Jay's father for money. Jay's father being the kindest man anyone had ever known, invited her in. As she heard her mother's conniving, begging tone, she instantly snapped out of her depression and became furious. She stormed down the stairs and was met by her father's surprised expression and her mother angrily squinting at her. After a short exchange where Jay yelled at her mother for returning and Jay's mother attempting to act innocent, her mother finally snapped. She lashed out at Jay verbally. After a one-sided argument where Jay's mother basically told Jay that she was a mistake, Jay's father stepped in with the most angry expression that Jay had ever seen on his face. After a moment of since, Eona, Argos, Striker, and Empress also stepped up to Jay's mother with expressions of hatred. Her father told Jay's mother to leave the house immediately. His words were calm and his expression collected, but there was an edge to them that made a shiver run down Jay's spine. With a huff, Jay's mother left, never to be seen again. Seeing her father standing up for her alongside her loyal Pokemon, Jay broke down in tears of shear joy and realization. She would keep Ace in her memory, but she would keep going for the rest of them.

Jay finally got back into training, but did not find catch another Pokemon until Totem whom she was hesitant to catch at first. However, he has helped Jay immensely through the process of guilt over Ace's death. Later on she caught Venom and then Loa, making a full party of strong, faithful, amazing Pokemon. Although Jay has an extremely strong bond with all of her Pokemon, her first four - Eona, Argos, Striker, and Empress - share the strongest of bonds with her because they had been through her lowest points with her and shared that pain.

At the age of 20, Jay finally left home. Ironically, that was the year that her father finally settled down in Hearthome City. He continues to travel a lot, but he has finally found a place to call home and although she only lived there for about three months before leaving, Jay also considers Hearthome City her home. She mostly traveled, doing odd jobs in various cities. Most of these jobs have not been the most law-abiding or sound-of-mind job decisions. She mostly steals things for herself and other people and Pokemon in need. She is a sort of modern day Robin Hood in a sense. Whenever she comes back home, she makes sure to tell her father that she found a job in another Pokemart or as a museum clerk. For the most part, he believes her, but Jay knows that he suspects something else. She flies home at least once a week or goes to wherever her father is visiting at the time.

Name- Eona (sometimes just E, or Eo)
Species- Eevee (Shiny) ♀
Gender- Female
Ability- Adaptability
Nature- Quirky
History
Originally from the snowy regions of Sinnoh, Eona was born into a litter where she was a runt and an outcast. She was smaller than the average Eevee and a light grey color to her family’s typical brown. She was not given a name by her family because they believed that she would never be strong enough to fend for herself.

When winter came and it was time for all the Eevee to hunker down or to go somewhere warmer, Eona was abandon in the cold to fend for herself. Her family had moved on and she was no longer allowed to be a part of them. So, she set off to prove them wrong. Her grey fur enabled her to be able to blend into the snow rather well and she was eventually able to make it to a town where she was fed and housed by a loving elderly couple who gave her the name Eve.

Eona lived happily for about a year until she was run out when a majority of the town was destroyed by a fire. She escaped and traveled south into the Kanto region. There, she continued traveling south until she reached Vermilion City where a young girl, Jay, had just turned 10 and was ready for her first Pokemon.

Eona has recently suffered an attack from a rattata and weak and beaten when Jay found her. Jay took her to the Pokecenter and cared for her for weeks while Eona healed. Although, by this time Eona had trust and commitment issues, she could not help herself from getting attached to the girl whose mother had also left her behind at a young age. Jay spent a month trying to pick out a name for the Eevee, hoping that she would decide to stay. She finally decided on Eona and, feeling such a deep connection, Eona decided to become Jay’s first Pokemon without any questions or the use of a Pokeball. Eona and Jay formed a fantastic bound which can never and will never be broken. Neither Jay nor Eona are really sure what Eona should be evolved into, but they are both sure that they will know when the time comes.

Eona is the only one of Jay’s Pokemon that has never been put into a Pokeball. Due to Eona being smaller than the average Eevee, she can often ride on Jay’s shoulder or head and sometimes sleeps on her chest or stomach.

Name- Argos
Species- Arcanine ♂
Gender- Male
Ability- Intimidate
Nature- Brave
History
Unlike Eona and Jay, Argos was born into a loving litter of other Growlithe and was one of the biggest in his litter. He was, by far, the most powerful as well. He learned at an astounding rate and was Despite his joyful upbringing, Argos was raised to be independent and when the time was right, Argos was sent off by his mother and father, with a tearful goodbye, to live on his own.

Argos loved being an independent Growlithe. Being rather large, powerful and intimidating for an average Growlithe, he was able to defeat any Pokemon that challenged him. In addition, when a trainer came along, he would either scare them away or knock out every one of their weak Pokemon. This is why when a small 10-year-old with only a tiny Eevee on her shoulder can strolling through his territory, he expected it to be a piece of cake. However, this girl was different. She was resilient and her Eevee was stronger than Argos had expected. When he finally thought he had the Eevee beat, he was caught off guard when the Eevee bit into his leg and held on for dear life. The girl threw a Pokeball and Argos tried to fight it, but he couldn’t escape.

At first Argos hated being with Jay. At the time, he stood only about a head shorter than she was and was angry that he was the one following her. He thought she was weak and would have much rather been independent and live on his own. It was not until the day when they were on the pier of Vermilion City and Argos was about to be shocked by a rampaging Electabuzz that Argos began to see Jay differently. She had seen the bolt of thunder before him and had pushed him away, taking the hit to the back herself before being flung into the rocks near the pier. Luckily, she was saved, but the scar on her back still serves as Argos’ reminder of what happened.

From that day on, he vowed to be faithful to Jay no matter what. For her 15th birthday, Jay’s father gave her a Fire Stone which she enthusiastically used to evolve Argos. He now stands just above Jay’s chest. Besides serving as a powerful guardian, Argos also often serves as either a pillow or a couch for Jay as well as Eona.

Name- Striker (usually just Strike)
Species- Luxray ♂
Gender- Male
Ability- Rivalry
Nature- Impish
History
Striker's history is by no means very sad or very interesting for that matter. He was just an average Shinx with a good mother, father, older brother, and two younger sisters. Shinx are normally known for their hatred of being captured by trainers. Striker's family was no different than a majority of the Shinx population. Being willingly captured by a trainer was to be viewed as weak. This was were Striker differed from the Shinx. He genuinely wanted to be part of a trainer's team. He dreamed of working alongside humans and Pokemon alike. However, he hid these feelings from his family and pretended to hate human trainers.

Too many times did Striker and his family send a trainer away, crying over their failure to win a battle. However, when 12-year-old Jay came along with her Eevee and her Growlithe at her side, Striker simply could not defeat her. This 12-year-old was the metaphorical straw that broke the Numel's back. She was so determined to capture a third Pokemon and she wanted Striker to be that Pokemon. And, honestly, Sriker wanted to be that Pokemon as well. He allowed himself to get captured by Jay and quickly became an integral part of her team, training with her from a small Shinx into a Luxio, and finally into a noble Luxray standing just about Jay's hip.

While he guesses that he has been permanently shunned by them, Striker has never seen a single member of his family since. He does not mind that though. He enjoys the entire team and is proud that he was caught by a trainer like Jay. Striker's personality is much like Argos' in the loyalty aspect. However, he differs from the Arcanine by being much more playful and less serious than Argos.

Name- Empress
Species- Flygon ♀
Gender- Female
Ability- Levitate
Nature- Docile
History
It's difficult to say that Empress was definitively royalty amongst the Trapinch, Vibrava, and Flygons; however, she was definitely seen as a thing of beauty and as something to be revered. Many people don't think of Trapinch as beautiful, but there is definitely a hierarchy amongst them. In the region she was born, she was daughter to one of the most powerful Flygon "kings" and one of the most beautiful Trapinch "queens". She loved her father and mother dearly; however, her father had planned on having her mate one of the male Flygons as soon as she was of age. Empress had always had a motherly instinct and was the normally loved caring for the younger Trapinch. This only made it harder when Empress's father announced that Empress was finally of age and Empress decided that it was time for her to leave. So, with a heavy heart, Empress left her home, leaving behind her jeweled necklace as a sign of apology for her family and companions.

Empress had roamed for only a few days in the hot, desert sun when a young girl and her Eevee came through, struggling against the winds of the brewing sandstorm. Although she did not want to approach Jay directly for fear of being captured, Empress followed behind the girl, prepared to jump in if she ended up needing her help. After about a half an hour of persistent walking, the girl finally tripped and fell in the sand. She gave several feeble attempts to stand again, but she could not gain her footing again in the strong desert winds. This was when Empress's motherly instinct finally pushed through her fear and she stepped in, encircling herself, Jay, and Eona in a tomb of rocks. When the storm finally passed, Jay was still weak from the storm and was wobbling with every step she took. With her motherly instinct in full gear now, she accompanied Jay to a small town where she rested with Empress sticking by her side to make sure she was alright.

After Jay had recovered fully, she thanked Empress and asked if she would be on her team. She was not so persistent in this, giving Empress the choice unlike many trainers would do. Empress had an odd feeling that she had to stay with the girl and keep her from doing something stupid like trying to whether a sandstorm. She allowed herself to be captured easily and has played a key role in Jay's team ever since. When Jay caught her as a Trapinch, Jay had no idea that she would become a beautiful and giant Flygon. Currently, Empress is about a foot and a half taller than Jay when sitting. She serves at the mother figure and the voice of reason on the team. She is also occasionally used for transportation, but only in emergencies.

Name- Totem (normally called Tote)
Species- Xatu ♂
Gender- Male
Ability- Syncronize
Nature- Quiet
History
Not unlike many Xatu tribes, Totem's was very spiritual and in-tune with nature and the world itself. As a Natu, Totem was nothing special. Like many Natu, he was told legends and believed in the great spirits of the world. He was told all about how he had to be one with the world and he had to follow his heart wherever it took him. Totem was also able to see glimpses of the future, as many Natu and Xatu are, but for him, his future was constantly changing. One minute he saw himself as the highest Xatu of his tribe, the next he saw himself being the companion of an old woman. Being so exhausted from all his different visions, Totem began to get easily angered.

One day, Totem simply could not take it. He got so frustrated that he lashed out and hurt one of his companions. His tribe was understanding, but they sent him out to take a journey in finding himself. They told him not to come back until he was able to control himself and find peace in his visions. No one really knows what happened to Totem on his journey, but when he can back he was completely silent. He would not speak and only communicated telepathically when it was absolutely necessary.

Although Totem had come to terms with his many visions, he still wanted desperately to find his true path. He had never seen Jay in one of his visions, but when he saw her sitting under a tree with her four Pokemon sitting around her, he knew that she was the path he was meant to take. When he presented himself to her, she was startled and her Pokemon immediately took a fighting stance. However, he explained his situation to her telepathically. She calmed her team down, but did not capture Totem immediately. Totem could already see the great tragedy [see Jay's history] that she had gone through and he understood her hesitation to capture him. They compromised and agreed that she would not definitively capture Totem yet. He stayed with her for a while, giving her spiritual advice - mostly from what he had learned in his tribe - and consoling her on what had happened. Although he only spoke telepathically when he had to, he communicated through different means such as items or gifts.

When Jay was finally ready, she captured Totem and trained him to evolve into a Xatu. Totem still sees glimpses of the future - albite they are fewer and farther between now - and he is still a spiritual and emotional guide for Jay. He has slowly begun to lose his vow of silence considering that he has finally found his path in life. However, he still only communicates by means of telepathy and he is still the quietest Pokemon on Jay's team.

Name- Venom (usually just Ven)
Species- Toxicroak ♂
Gender- Male
Ability- Anticipation
Nature- Rash
History
The place where Venom grew up was a very harsh place where hardly anyone ever took pity on another Croagunk or Toxicroak. The normal custom where he was born was for the parents to stay with the children for several months, teaching them the basics of fighting, poisoning, and other crucial skills, and then leave them behind and move to another area. Venom's parents did just that. They left him when he was only a few months old, as custom, and Venom never saw them again.

He was quick to learn fighting techniques and basic poison moves. He grew thick skin and was able to handle almost anything that was thrown at him. Another custom where he was from was fighting matches between two-four Croagunks. In his time there, Venom never lost a match. After a while, other Croagunks would lose on purpose because they did not want to be hurt. He later moved on the fight Toxicroaks where he also beat every match.

He was feared and loved at the same time. Female Croagunks and even female Toxicroaks loved him and the males wanted to be him. Venom was strong and fast and revered, but he had one problem: his temper. When he got angry, he would rampage for hours and then be fuming for days. And no one wanted to be around him. This carried over to everyday life as well. Venom did not have or have want for many friends. He had acquaintances, but no close friends.

Venom was having another rampage when he met Jay. They got into a battle and Venom was so angry that he accidentally used his lethal poison on her Eevee instead of the diluted poison which he normally used in battles. By the time he realized what had happened, Jay was already running in the direction of the Pokecenter with Eona cradled in her arms. Suddenly feeling horrible for his actions, Venom followed Jay to make sure the Eevee would be okay. As he finally caught up to her, he realized that she was being swarmed by wild Pokemon. She was trying to run away from all of them, but she kept tripping and would be bombarded by them again. Wanting to help Jay and Eona and also wanting to apologize, Venom stepped in and downed every single wild Pokemon.

Jay was astounded and thanked Venom quickly before running off again. He hopped after her, still wanting to make sure that she got her Eevee to the Pokecenter in time. Luckily, Eona had gotten to the Pokecenter in time and she ended up recovering. Although Jay's Pokemon had a bit of a harder time, Jay forgave Venom quickly and offered him a spot of her team. Not really able to say no after what he had done, Venom agreed and let Jay catch him.

It took a while for the other Pokemon to warm up to him and vice versa, but he is now part of Jay's family. He still has outbreaks occasionally, but Jay knows how to calm him down. He is much happier and light-hearted on Jay's team than he ever was in the wild and he enjoys that.

Name- Loa
Species- Lapras ♀
Gender- Female
Ability- Shell Armor
Nature- Sassy
History
Loa was born for the sole purpose of being a show Lapras. From birth, she was trained to do tricks and look pretty. At a young age, Loa was put in a large pool to show off and do tricks for people to come and watch. She had a great keeper and she loved having people watch her. She believed that she was the most beautiful creature out that and the most talented.

It was not until the show that Loa was part of shut down that Loa actually got a taste of reality. With a tearful goodbye, her keeper was forced to release Loa into the ocean. At first Loa was scared, but she soon found her way in the water. She was still rather vain and commanded the attention of the creatures of the water. However, she soon became able to fend for herself and found ways to get food or to get other sea creatures - more than often male creatures - to find food for her.

Although she was alright with her life, she still swam by the shores, looking for her old keeper or for a new keeper that would show her off to everyone. On one particularly sunny day, she was swimming by the shores when she accidentally hit Jay who had been surfing skillfully through the waves. Although Jay was fine, her surfboard had been cut in half by the force of the hit. Because of her proud, arrogant nature, Loa was initially angered that Jay had hit her and possibly tarnished her shell. However, upon seeing the girl, Loa noticed how much Jay reminded her of her old keeper.

Jay was frustrated that she would have to get a new board, but she did not blame Loa and instead chose to capture her. Loa is very full of herself and rather ditzy, but provides a bit of comic relief for the team. She is often overly emotional and overreacts to nearly everything - mostly when Striker, or Venom poke fun at her - but she is a strong and valued member of the team.

Jay stepped off of Empress, her Flygon, and patted the large green bug's nose lovingly. "You wanna rest, girl?" Empress gave her a tired look and nodded. Jay simply smiles, patted her once more and proceeded to place her back in her Pokeball. Jay herself was exhausted from a long day of flying, but she knew that she had to get home to see her father.

Eona, Jay's Eevee, who had been sleeping the last half of the flight on Jay's shoulder, yawned and blinked herself awake as Jay began to scratch her soft, grey ears. "C'mon Eo, we can sleep when we get home." The Eevee nodded, stretched her hind legs out on Jay's shoulder and then hopped down gracefully. Eona looked back up at her trainer and Jay chuckled at the sleepy expression on the creature's face. It was nighttime, not too late, but the moon still shined so bright that Jay decided there was no need to wake Argos or Striker to light the way. They had landed just outside of Hearthome City and it was only a short walk into the city from there. As Eona had done, Jay proceeded to stretch her cramping legs and arms before heading off in the direction of Hearthome with Eona plodding next to her.

As the took their first steps into the city, Jay's father's home came into view and she grinned to herself. Despite the many different homes that her and her father had inhabited, this one was definitely her second favorite, seconded only to their first home in Vermilion City. As they approached the door, Eona bounced back up onto Jay's shoulder. Jay rolled her eyes at the Eevee. "You really couldn't even walk through the door?"

Eona glared daggers at her as Jay proceeded to knock on the door. As if he had been waiting for her, Jay's father answered the door with a large, lopsided grin plastered on his face. No matter how many times Jay came back home, she would never get tired of seeing her father so genuinely happy to have her home.

A beam of moonlight glinted off his too-big, geeky, bug glasses as he spoke excitedly. "Birdy! How are you? You're in late tonight. Ain't you?"

Jay chuckled and stepped into the house, giving her father a tight squeeze. "Yeah, I got caught up in Sunnyshore and it took longer than expected to get here." Her father held onto her for a moment as he normally did and then closed the door after her. Jay shuffled to the living room section of the house while her father went to the kitchen and came back with a tray of iced tea, fresh apple slices, and berries for her Pokemon - a sort of tradition between them, no matter how late or early she got in. And, as tradition called for, Jay produced her Pokeballs out of her satchel. As Eona got a head start on the berries, Jay released Striker, Argo, Venom, Totem, and Loa. They each stretched their limbs, but had to cram into the small living area as they did so. However, they were so used to it by now that they were not too uncomfortable as they began to eat the assorted berries.

"Where's Empress got to?" Jay's father asked as he began to sip his tea while simultaneously pushing his scraggly, dark brown hair out of his face.

Jay thirstily took a swig of iced tea before answering her father, "I hope you don't mind, she's exhausted from the flight. I told her she could rest." Jay gave him a small smile of apology for breaking their tradition.

Her father nodded with sympathy and waved a hand dismissively. "Don't mind it. I assume I'd be tired too if I flew halfway across Sinnoh." Jay chuckled, glad that her father didn't mind and bit into a strawberry before settling back into the lounger chair. A moment of silence passed between them before Jay's father spoke again. "So, Sunnyshore, what're you up to there?"

Jay finished off her strawberry and wiped her fingers on a napkin. "Oh, well I'm working at the Sunnyshore Market. Ya know those Seals they have there? I'm selling those." This was the part of the conversation that Jay always hated. This was the part where she had to lie to her father about what she had been doing since the last time he saw her. In reality, Jay had been stealing a cargo of Potions in the Sunnyshore port which she had then given to various wild Pokemon and trainers alike and had sold a few back to the Sunnyshore Pokemart. She hated having to lie to her father about things like this, but she knew that he simply could not know the truth about her deceitful occupation.

Her father seemed to accept that answer and they continued to speak about mundane things, her father's research. As per usual, Jay's father cracked more than one bad joke which Jay could never stop herself from laughing at. As the clock struck midnight, her father realized that he had to get up early the next morning for a meeting and he kissed her goodnight before going upstairs. Jay sighed as she watched her father's retreating figure. As soon as he was out of earshot, Jay put her head in her hands and sighed. Her team looked at her with sympathy. Even if they all didn't have telepath like Totem, they all knew what was going through her head. Eona nudged her cheek and licked at the tip of her nose affectionately. Jay smiled at the small Eevee and scratched behind her ears. "I don't know how much longer I can keep lying to him like this guys," she whispered partially to herself and partially to her team. After that, there was about ten minutes of complete silence before Jay whipped her eyes with the sleeve of her black sweatshirt and stood up. She brought Venom, Loa, and Empress out to the backyard where there was a pond that they could sleep comfortably in. She hugged them each tightly before saying goodnight and heading back inside to to to sleep herself.

In her first floor room, Jay felt a need to be close to her Pokemon that night, so she placed two blankets on the ground. Each of them knew exactly what that meant without Jay having to say it. Argos curled up on the quilts, leaving a space for Jay to sleep. Striker curled up near Argo's head and Totem fell stood at Argo's hind legs. The last thing Jay did was open the window so that she could effectively hear the sound of her other three Pokemon breathing. As she plopped down at Argo's side, Eona snuggled up next to her while giving a low purr of affection. Jay smiled at the Eevee as the small creature closed her eyes and was soon out like a light. Jay looked over at Totem, her Xatu, and noticed the bird looking at her. The bird obviously knew Jay's thoughts and knew that Jay wanted to talk to him.

You're still distraught over lying to your father. Totem spoke to her telepathically.

I've done it so many times and I never gets easier. I don't know what to do, Tote. Jay thought back to the bird.

You have good intentions, Jay. You do it because you love him and nothing else. Jay nodded as the Xatu spoke wisely. When he needs to know, you will be the one to tell him. Trust your heart, Jay.

Jay furrowed her brow at the bird, but knew better that to question the wise, future-seeing Pokemon. [i]I know better than to second guess you. Thanks Tote. 'Night, bud.[/i}

Totem said nothing more to Jay as he wrapped his wings tighter around himself and closed his eyes. As Jay nestled tighter into the side of her Arcanine, she tried to keep her thoughts going. However, her eyelids and her brain were so weighed down from her long day of thievery and flying and emotions that she found it hard to keep her mind from wandering. Eventually, she accepted the peace of darkness and fell into a deep sleep with the sound of the breathes of her seven closest friends in her ears.

So begins...

Castron Jacruze

Castron sat on the deck of a small ferry he had "borrowed" by the act of possession. It was a broken down old ship on it's way to be destroyed before he and Necro came upon it a few years back. It always helped to have a ghost ship, even if it was half destroyed, wood rotting away from the deck, the interior smelling faintly and water logged books, and rusted walls. It made Castron at peace for a strange sense of how it never seemed to be coherent in any sense.

Though he loved it the cabin was very elegant and well kept compared to the rest of the small ship. Inside slept his companion for this trip, Jay. She was one of his past associates who seemed to have a knack for being quiet and following orders. She was cool in his opinion and he needed to have someone from the look of the letter he had received.

"I still don't get this..." he muttered silently to himself before he was interrupted by his companion poking his head through the deck. "Duuussskkk" he groaned and Castron nodded "Alright, we can stop for a bit, I think we're close." he said with a smirk as he held out his hand, the ghost grabbing it with his giant right hand and pulling himself up, hovering around the ship happily before finding the roof and laying down ontop of it, his energy drained.

Castron smiled as his pokemon flew from sight though he couldn't shake the feeling that something was going extremely wrong with the island. It was the same feeling he would get when he would sneak out and have to walk home, knowing his mother was angry at him and would let out her anger at him. The ominous feeling shook his body as he leaned on the rails of the now still boat, a small speck on land on the horizon. "There she is." he said silently before going quiet as he thought about the island and the sender of the mysterious letter he had acquired.

Jyo Chuzunya

Jyo had chosen a pale orchid dress this day, shorter than her usual fare, which danced in the sea air as she stood on the head of the monstrous sea snake she called her friend. Her opal hued hair was tied back, but it still streamed behind her as well. Normally a ride on Aria's back was a time for fun and splashing, but this time was different. A little ahead of the massive gyarados swam a vaporeon, which broke the waves with his surf ability allowing Aria to carry Jyo easily. She supposed that she could have taken a boat, but she preferred to travel with those she trusted the most. She didn't know who sent the message, but she suspected a trap. It wouldn't have been the first time that someone tried to take advantage of her family's money, and it wasn't likely be the last. These thoughts on her mind, Jyo's face was set in a serious expression her eyes on the horizon.

The sudden appearance of Cronus and Antonio, a shiny kingdra and a corsola, with calls for Jyo's attention, pulled her from her thoughts and down to the pair that swam along Aria's side. They pointed at a dark shape nearby seeming highly worried about whatever it was. Jyo frowned slightly at the dark shape, and pulled out a camera which she used as a telescope to see what it was. The color drained from the young lady's face as she laid eyes on the ghost ship, suddenly understanding why her pokemon were so worried. She returned the pair that noticed the ferry as well as the gyarados, allowing herself to fall into the water with Zeik. The vaporeon voiced his concern, quickly coming to his trainer's aid.

"I'll dry out later, I want to check out that ghost ship! I bet a ghost ship would have some frillish or jellicent for sure! Especially some female ones, they're so pretty and pink. Don't be such a wet blanket, Zeik, its just a haunted boat." The vaporeon groaned in protest, but was quick to swim up to the boat in question as it sailed along. It seemed that there were voices as the pair got closer, so Jyo climbed up carefully and only peeked over the side, hoping to spot some sort of ghost pokemon.

Jack Robin

Jack sat on the edge of the deck, his legs dangling over the edge, Ricardo sitting beside him doing the same. He had remembered the letter and the foretelling of this there island and meeting up with others. Him and his human companion for the trip, DJ, had arrived earlier than Jack himself wished to. And it wasn't only that. The small ship that gave them a ride here was full of gypsies who all had psychic Pokemon. Jack was okay with it as most of his own Pokemon are psychic, but it was still odd as it was like the Pokemon didn't have 'a owner' or 'a master' but were there because they were. Interesting at least, Jack hardly said a word the whole trip. And now he awaits the arrival of the others on a small old deck.

After a while of sitting, Ricardo started pestering Jack. Jack just brushed it off and continued staring at the water below him. Ricardo kept pestering. "Ricardo, I ask you, please stop." He kept pestering, now making Jack's silver hair messier than it usually is, yet still falling down into his face. "Ricardo, stop it." Still, the lucario doesn't stop, now going crazy and poking Jack's arms and back in a fast motion. "Ricardo, please stop. I'm not in the mood for playing at the moment." Jack stares hims reflection in the water in the eyes, his blue-purple eyes slightly reflecting the color back up at him, though darkened slightly due to the murky water coming from under the deck.

Ricardo doesn't stop, becoming very agitated. He stops for a moment, then pushes Jack off the deck and into the water. Jack, luckily, is able to stop himself by grabbing a hold of the deck, his shoes and calves dipping into the water below. Jack pulls himself up and stands over Ricardo - standing a good three feet above the 3 foot tall being - with a scold on his face. "What's wrong with you, man!" Jack yells. Ricardo scolds back and points out to the distance. Turning, Jack can see it. A ghost ship and is that a gyarados? Jack guessed it was the third one. He walked to the end of the deck and waited for the Ship to port. Ricardo stood beside him and, simultaneously, they crossed their arms over their chests. Ricardo kept glancing up at Jack ever so often to make sure he's still doing the same thing.

D.J. was currently enjoying the pier on which she found herself on. This island was supposedly connected to great things, and that was something she could learn to love. She found herself with a rather odd boy named Jack, who in the time has known him, has yet to see him actually laugh. It was a little off-putting to be honest, but she didn't really care at this point. She was far too focused on dancing with wool to care.

See, on the boat ride over to the island, which Harmony had to be put in her Pokeball, due to trying to pick a fight with a Kadabra, Wool had come out to hug D.J. for the tenth time that day. When she saw all of the new faces, she freaked and hid behind her, but once she saw some of the gypsy’s dancing, she grew open to them. Most of the ride was spent with D.J. and Wool trying to copy their movements, to which they helped them. D.J. was thankful, and found this dance pretty fun actually.

On the pier, Wool was spinning in circles while D.J. held her hand above her head, and some strange clapping gesture. She knew she had to be serious, but a little fun couldn’t hurt. This stopped when Wool suddenly jumped up and tried to bury herself in D.J. chest. D.J. looked forward and saw Jack with his Lucario mimicking each other, which she found adorable, looking out into the ocean. “It’s ok Wool, it’s just the other arriving.” She said to calm the Pokémon, and then started to walk to the end of the pier to see them. She could understand why Wool would be scared, a haunted looking ship along with a gyarados is odd. She ended up standing beside Jack with Wool now facing the ship, but still trying to hide within her trainer.

“I hope this trip goes smoothly, can’t have another one of my parent’s children dying soon.” She said slightly glibly, and smiled a little bit, and hoped a little bit that Jack at least wasn’t freaked by her humor, unlike Wool who onely moved her head in a ‘I-can’t-believe-you-say-that’ way, letting out a sighed, “Cott..”

Jyo Chuzunya

Jyo found herself being picked up by a dusknoir, and did the natural thing that anyone finding themselves in a ghost's hands would do: she screamed. Zeik launched himself from the water, joining his trainer on board the ship, an hissing a warning at the dusknoir. Luckily the ghost's trainer was quick to defuse the situation, and Jyo brushed off her dress, as if that would be enough to dry her off. She then corrected her stance, looking more like a proper lady, albeit a bit damp. Jyo would have looked the elegant socialite if not for the fact that she had gone for a swim in a dress, in both her mannerism and polite tone of voice. Now in front of her sat a vaporeon, flicking his tail in open irritation, after all he had tried to warn his trainer, but noooo, she had to go climb up on a ghost ship.

"Well, I saw your boat, and I thought that maybe there would be some ghost types to catch. I suppose I was half correct, as there is in fact at least one ghost on board." She smiled warmly and gave a little curtsy toward the group,"I suppose that means you're heading toward the island, then? I'm Jyo Chuzunya. Since we're heading the same way, I could have one of my friends give you a push?"

Zeik didn't seem to share his trainer's friendliness, opting instead to give the lot a stern glare, as if daring them to try anything. He didn't care, he'd surf the whole ship and sink it. Not that it looked like it would take a lot. Jyo, meanwhile merely gave the grumpy vaporeon a pat on the head,"Excuse my bodyguard, Zeik. He's actually very nice when you get to know him."

Jay Kelavi

Jay's eyes fluttered open and she let out a loud yawn, accidentally waking several of the sleeping Pokemon around her. While Jay wanted nothing more than to flip over an curl back up into Argos' soft fur, she knew that she had to wake up and go meet Castron up on the deck of the ghost ship. So, with a heavy sigh of regret, she sat up and placed the disgruntled Eona, who had been curled up next to Jay's chest, on the ground. Jay looked around the room, making sure that all of her Pokemon that were currently out of the Pokeballs were awake.

Venom, Jay's Toxicroak, had of course woken up at the first sign of movement. He gave a low grumble of acknowledgment and then nodded his head toward Jay. She smiled at him and then looked over to Striker, the Luxray, who was also awake albite a bit groggy and who gave purr as he bowed down like a cat to stretch out his legs. Totem, Jay's Xatu, who seemed to never sleep, sent Jay a quiet, telepathic 'Good morning' before she even had the chance to turn to him. Jay thought back to her Xatu, [i]'Morning, Tote.' With that, Jay stretched her arms out a bit and then began to stand up. Argos did so as well and Jay gave him a loving pat on the neck as he yawned, whilst unintentionally emitting a low growl from his throat.

Seeing that her team was all awake, Jay ushered them out of the room in order for her to get dressed. The last one to pass her on the way out the door was Eona who looked up at Jay with a sleepy expression. Jay bent down and gave the Eevee a scratch behind her fluffy grey ears and then nudged her out the door. Once everyone was out the door, Jay proceeded to get dressed. When she finally emerged from the small room, she was wearing a black tank top, denim shorts, and a flannel shirt that seemed one or two sizes too big for her. As she stepped out to meet her Pokemon who appeared to be waiting for her behind the door, Jay pulled and tugged her long red-brown hair into a messy braid, securing it with a ribbon at the end. As per usual, Eona quickly hopped onto Jay's shoulder as she slowly ascended the stairs of the ship.

Stepping onto the deck, Jay blinked and smiled in the sunshine. Oh how she wished that she could go surfing right now. It was perfect weather for it, after all. Jay looked around the deck of the ship and noticed that at one end of the boat, Castron stood with his back facing her, speaking to a girl whom Jay had never seen before. Although she was curious, Jay ignored this for a moment and went to the other end of the ship. She took out the Pokeballs of her two team members whom she had not released on the ship and proceeded to let Loa, the Lapras, and Empress, the Flygon, out of their Pokeballs. They both said their good morning to Jay in their own way - a flip out of the water from Loa and a large grin and flutter of her wings from Empress. After saying good morning, Loa swam next to the boat while Empress flew alongside the Lapras, keeping each other company. Jay stood there for a moment, watching the two and basking in the sunshine before turned away from the rail. Out of her flannel pocket, she drew a box of toothpicks, stuck one in between her teeth, and began to chew lethargically on it.

Jay looked across the boat and ,seeing Castron and the stranger, remembered her curiosity and began to stroll over to them. While Totem, Venom and Striker stayed near the other end of the deck, Argos felt the need to go meet this stranger, and Eona simply had no desire to jump off of Jay's shoulder. Even with Argos who could most likely rip the girl's head off, Eona still shook slightly on Jay's shoulder. Perhaps it was the intimidating looking male Vaporeon at the girls side, but whatever the case, the fluffy, grey Eevee on Jay's shoulder seemed intrigued and nervous at the same time.

As she came upon the pair, Jay heard Castron ask the girl, "Do you know the sender of the letter?" before she finally came from behind him to stand on his right side. Hearing this, Jay immediately realized what they were talking about and knew that the girl must not be a thief of any other type of threat. Argos came to stand to Jay's right and stayed slightly in front of her out of protective habit as Jay continued to chew carefully on her toothpick. She looked the girl up and down, noticing her elegant but drenched dress. "Who're you?" Jay asked, not give the girl a chance to answer the question Castron had asked. She kept her expression blank and uninterested while speaking, as she normally did, even though she was a bit curious as to who the girl was and why she looked like a drowned princess.

Jyo Chuzunya

"Well, if he gets tired," Jyo indicated Necro,"I'm sure my Aria would be more than happy to play tugboat for a while. We're pretty close, so its not a big deal. She normally only has me to carry."

The vaporeon didn't seem all that crazy about the mareep hiding under him, but rather than chasing her off or leaving her on her own, Zeik curled his tail around Pillow protectively. He didn't seemed bothered by any static that may have collected on the sheep's wool, but he did see fit to chuff his disapproval at Castron in general. He didn't like the guy, looked shifty.

Jyo couldn't help but giggle at the two, especially at Zeik's grumpy expression as he protected the mareep from the terrors of a moving boat. The young woman hadn't had any issue keeping her own footing, apparently used to sailing. Her attention moved back to Castron, trying to read him as he tried to read her, but he didn't really seem like a thief or a thug. In fact, he seemed very polite, though Jyo doubted that Castron had come from a wealthy background like herself. Then again, most people didn't. She started to answer Castron, when another girl stepped up to the conversation, demanding an identity from the 'drowned princess'.

Jyo did her best to not seem offended, though her previous smile had faded,"I am Jyo Chuzunya, only daughter of the Chuzunya estate. I don't know who sent the letter, and to be quite honest, I had hoped that perhaps you did. I only came over here in hopes that this was a real ghost ship, but I suppose finding that I'm not the only one summoned here is just as good." She wasn't so sure about this second person, but then again, not everyone could be polite, right? Still, it rubbed Jyo the wrong way, and her opinion of the girl was already low...though she did have the cutest little eevee on her shoulder...

Castron leaned on the rails of the ship as he talked, a questioning look as neither his partner nor new girl could tell anything of who sent the mysterious letter they were. "Well it seems as if we may be walking into a trap.... Though I'm near certain a lady of your caliber doesn't have a police record. " he said with a small chuckle as he spotted a flame from a nearby ship before it stopped again. "Must be battling. " he muttered to where Necro moved a bit faster towards the island.

"I suggest we go on the island together with you, me, and princess. " he said with the smallest of chortles. Where as the ship calming down Pullow slowly started to move from the comfort of her new friend, laying beside him and knuckling her head into his neck, his wet body letting out a bit of static from the wool on her tiny body. "Meeeep" she exclaimed as she jumped back, wanting to play with her "new friend".

Jack Robin

Jack raised an eyebrow slightly at D.J. He honestly had no idea how to respond, and he hardly had time when she took out her chandelure. He was so beautiful. And then the flamethrower. Gosh. Amazing. Jack watched the flames rise into the air, the slightest gleam of amazement in his eyes though the rest was neutral. He was cut from his amazement at D.J. talking again. It took a moment for it to sink in what she had said. "That would be quite horrid indeed." Jack said, his eyes on the flames before they stopped.

Jack was quiet for a moment, watching the ship ahead and trying to see as to what it shall do. Then it donned. They either didn't notice it or just passed it off as a battle or something. Jack then went back to the last thing and said something else. "Let's hope neither of us die this journey." He then thought and thought about how they could possibly get the boats attention.

"Ooh! Have Meme use thunderbolt on the ship! Yeah! That will defiantly get their attention!" Ricardo said, obviously getting a little excited. "No, we can't do that." Jack replied. "But maybe you can do whatever you do to talk to me to talk to them?" What an idea. What an idea. It's so crazy it may just work. Ricardo nodded and stepped forward, focusing on one of the auras above the ship. As he focused, his eyes closed and he began speaking to the holder of the aura. "Greetings, holder. I am Ricardo. Look over to shore and you shall see the others who were to embark on this journey together with you." Short and sweet introduction and direction to whomever was the holder of the aura. Ricardo was sure the holder was a human, but it was possible it could be a Pokemon.

Jyo Chuzunya

Zeik shook himself off once Pillow left his side, resetting his stance to look a little more like a bodyguard again. He seemed mildly confused by the mareep's playfulness, but only for a moment before he decided to hop around the other pokemon with a playfulness of his own. This of course completely shattered the serious nature he was trying to portray, showing that he actually preferred to be a little bit silly.

The rich girl chuckled at the pair's antics for a moment, with a light shrug. She was just glad they were getting along. It was then Jyo seemed to notice the other ship for the first time as a plume of violet fire was shot into the sky, while Castron spoke,"I was thinking the same thing about the trap, but I'm not sure what they have in mind. If its our pokemon they want, I'm sure that you're willing to fight as hard as I will." She shot a smile back at the other trainers before sending her gyarados out again,"Princess, huh? Actually I think its a sig-"

Jyo cut off, her eyes wide as she heard a voice in her mind, her attention jerking back to the other ship,"....Aria, shoot a fire blast into the sky, please. I think I was right about the signal thing...."

The gyarados looked a little worried about her trainer's expression, but obliged, firing a kanji-shaped blast of flame into the sky so that the other ship would be able to see it as they neared the shore.

Jay Kelavi

Jay gave the girl a discreet once over as she spoke, "I am Jyo Chuzunya, only daughter of the Chuzunya estate." Although Jay didn't really like the girl's tone, she kept any annoyed emotion off of her face as the girl continued, "I don't know who sent the letter, and to be quite honest, I had hoped that perhaps you did. I only came over here in hopes that this was a real ghost ship, but I suppose finding that I'm not the only one summoned here is just as good."

Jay chuckled quietly and then spoke in a quiet voice, "But this is a real ghost ship, ain't it?"

However, Jay's sarcastic comment was lost as Castron "Well it seems as if we may be walking into a trap.... Though I'm near certain a lady of your caliber doesn't have a police record." Jay could have snorted in exasperation at her traveling partner's politeness toward the girl, but she kept to herself and settled for a small upward twitch of her mouth.

It was at this moment, Jay noticed a little ways off, a burst of flame coming from another ship. Although he showed no sign of emotion, Jay could feel Argos' muscles tense at the sight. Whether it was from excitement of a battle - which Jay doubted - or worry that there might be some danger, Jay didn't know, but she felt the ship push on a bit faster and Argos' muscles began to relax a bit.

At this time, Jay heard Totem speak to her telepathically, 'I sense that those trainers are trying to get our attention-' This mental message had clearly also been sent to Argos, seeing as the huge dog-like Pokemon turned to glare at the psychic bird and gave a low, rumbling growl, cutting off his message. Jay also turned to the Xatu who still stood on the other end of the ship, and sent him back a quick mental message 'Sorry, but that's their problem, Tote. We're better off not getting involved'

After that the bird fell silent and Jay felt bad for completely dismissing the Xatu. However, Jay's attention was quickly turned back to Castron as he suggested that the three of them travel together to the island. Jay did not miss Castron calling the girl a 'princess' as Jay had in her mind only moments ago. Again, she wanted to chortle alongside Castron, but instead she simply continued gnawing on the bit of wood between her teeth.

Jay suddenly realized that Eona was hopping from shoulder to shoulder, watching the Vaporeon and the Mareep playing. Jay looked at the grey Eevee and furrowed her brow. Eona seemed to have more of a calculating expression rather than a playful one. As Eona jumped to Jay's right shoulder, Jay quickly brought her shoulder up to get the Eevee's attention. "What's the matter, E?" Jay whispered so that only Eona could hear.

Eona looked at Jay with a furrowed brow and then pointed one small paw to the Vaporeon who had stopped playing for only a moment. Jay nodded solemnly, understanding what her tiny partner was saying. "I know, E. We'll figure it out someday though. Don't worry," Jay whispered back to her. Eona looked at Jay and nodded with a small, sad smile on her tiny face. Eona was always jealous whenever she saw one of her evolutions. They were all so happy and comfortable in their own skin and yet, after all this time, neither Eona nor Jay knew what she should be evolved into.

Their bonding moment was abruptly cut off as the new girl - Jyo was it? - told her Gyarados to send up a signal with his flamethrower. Jay felt Argos tense again at her side. The Arcanine was already nervous from being on a boat for so long, all these added flamethrowers and possible battles only had him rigid. Jay looked over at Jyo with a questioning look. The girl's eyes where wide and she was staring directly at the other boat. Maybe, Jay thought, this girl was a little bit on the crazy side. However, Jay gave a quick glance over at Castron and quickly realized that she was already traveling with a crazy person. What harm would one more crazy person be? Hey, maybe the person on the other boat was crazy as well.

Jay chuckled at her own thoughts, but then heard Totem say in her head, 'JDo not judge these people. Maybe their seeming insanity is the reason you have come to this island.

Jay's snorted and rolled her eyes at her wisest Pokemon. However, she then remembered what Castron had said about the invitation possibly being a trap. She looked over at her traveling partner and cocked her head slightly to one side. "Hey, Cast, if you think this is a trap, why're we going in the first place?" Jay asked. Her question made Argos tense even more at her side. Although the loyal Arcanine would never leave his trainer's side, that did not mean that he had to like the idea of going to some strange island with all of these strange people.

Castron smirked as the fire rose from the mouth of the beast, followed by a question from his companion. "Hey, Cast, if you think this is a trap, why're we going in the first place?" A small chuckle emptied his gullet and he adjusted his coat. "Because my dear, if it truly is a trap then we can defeat them and be done with the people looking for us. Even so I'm more powerful with two lovely women around me." he said with a toothy grin of sarcasm to his traveling buddy.

He tossed out a pokeball which unleashed his chatot. His shiny red feathers glinting against the sunlight as he adjusted his eye-patch, perched on the railing. "Pirate, go over there and tell whoever's sending the signal to come over here, and ask them why they're here. Then, report to me. Now what will you tell them?" "Follow our ship, why are you here, report back to Castron." "Good boy" he said before shooing his bird away, who took flight immediately.

Pirate soared the small distance to the ship, enjoying the salty waves under him before landing on the boat. "Follow our ship, why are you here, report back to Castron." he said to the boy and girl, chirping a small song before starting back to the ghost ship, leaving a small black feather on the head of the boy, twirling and rolling mid air.

D.J. sat on Shiva, resting her head onto the Pokémon’s head, and talking to her in a whisper. While doing that, she rubbed her fat some, and if D.J. wasn’t on her, she’d roll over like a dog and want her stomach rubbed. “I don’t know Shiv, I mean this trip is cool and all, but I guess I am just wondering what I’ll find.” ‘Rien…’ She said moaning into the rub, “Of course, I know I like to explore, but I guess I am a little homesick, odd right Shiv?” ‘Wal.’ “Yea, and of course there is Jack, I mean he is kinda weird with his emotions, but who am I to talk, although he does have some goo-“ She was caught off when she heard him put Ricardo back in his ball, and she straightened up.

When he got behind her and grabbed behind her, she knew this was probably a bad idea. But she couldn’t wuss out now, that would bring more awkwardness later. So instead, she said, “Alright, welcome to the SS Shiva, in the event we fall off, she will only save me, sorry.” She said with a sad voice, but then kicked at her sides to get a move on, and Shiva began to trot to the ocean.

The first minute was alright with Shiva just getting out into the current, although her feet got wet, as did her shoes, but she was wearing shorts, so only her legs got wet. “Hope you don’t have anything valuable in your pants.” She said, and then realized the double meaning of that, and mentally slapped herself. The next leg of the trip, Shiva started to buck in the current to go faster, causing them to rub awkwardly against one another and to bounce slightly. “Cool it Shiva, you aren’t a rodeo bull!” She said, and she did calm, but they still bucked, which didn’t help the situation AT ALL.

When they started to get close to the ship, she noticed the Gyarados was looking at them. She didn’t know too much about this kind, but she knew they were a force to be reckoned with. She kicked Shiva’s sides again, ordering her to stop, and they floated around twenty feet away from the boat. “Ahoy!” She yelled at the ship, and then twisted her neck slightly to face the wet boy. “Ok, Jack. These are your people, hopefully. Use some of that charm to get us aboard. Oh yea, I was kidding about her only saving me, just in case this goes badly.” She said happily, and then leaned down to put her face back on Shiva’s head, giving him a full view of the ship.

Castron smirked as his bird returned, perching himself on his shoulder and biting at his ear. "Stop it Scallywag" he said lightly to where the chatot began to yell avast while taking off and flying around the ship. "I swear that bird has some kind of problem...maybe I should get him checked...again" He then was stopped in his tracks by as he saw a pokemon near the water. "Ah, hello down there lady and gentleman!" he said cheerfully as Necro slowly faded in behind him, trying to appear as menacing as possible.

Castron grabbed his pokeballs to throw out duchess but found his remaining balls were empty except for his Golem who has almost always in, where he preferred to be on a tiny ship like this. "DOZER" he shouted, knowing the behemoth of a pokemon slept on the bottom floor. The beast simply rammed at the wall, making a large hole in the side of the ship though above the water enough to not let any in on him or the steel bird before going back to sleep. "Just walk in there if you wouldn't mind." he said before turning to Necro, motioning him with a smiple nod to fix the hole once they were in.

Jack Robin

Jack stayed quiet the whole trip to the ghost ship. Things were awkward enough without talking. And the second thing D.J. says makes things a hell of a lot more awkward. It caught Jack off guard, causing his eyes to widen slightly and nearly fall off the damn whale! Okay, it's nat a whale, it's a walrus Pokemon, but same difference. Upon almost falling, Jack held tighter to D.J., his arms wrapped around her middle. He kept a blank calm look on his face, but inside he was thinking 'too damn close, too damn close...'. After a while, it wasn't so bad.

Until the damned bucking started. Oh, the bucking! Jack's never held anyone so tight. The only emotion shown kn his face was his wide eyes. He actually found himself hoping to fall into the water. At least he wouldn't have the embarishment of needed to face D.J. until after they were on solid land and not all grinding each other like this. It did make him feel better though when she asked Shiva to stop being a rodeo bull. That was funny and she calmed down. When they drew close to the ship, Jack was happy. He felt like how the Israelites would have felt if they ever made it to the promised lands.

Jack was all about letting D.J. do the talking. He'd think she'd have an easier time getting them on the ship than himself. But, alas, she left it for him. How noble. With a sigh, he was about to yell up but before he could some guy with yellow hair yelled down to them then to a Pokemon who had made a gaping hole in the side of the ship. Odd. Jack raised an eyebrow at the guy who then told them to walk in the hole. Jack nodded. Once closed enough for the hole, the stepped in first, taking a look around. He didn't want D.J. to get hurt of caught if the crew above had any ideas. He then proceeded to help D.J. "Here, let me help you, take my hand." He said, holding a hand out to her.

Jyo Chuzunya

Jyo stifled the urge to roll her eyes at Castron and his sarcasm, her attention remaining on the other ship as she was contacted again. It seemed like the word of thanks was cut short, likely thanks to the chatot that was sent that way. Soon after the noisy bird's return, it seemed like there was movement on the other ship and soon someone approached though it seemed like they were having a hard ride. Jyo had never realized that the waves were so harsh in the area, as she had always ridden on Aria's head. She guessed there was something to be said for a large pokemon. It probably helped that this was always with Zeik leading the way and breaking the waves too.

The massive gyarados known as Aria growled at the approaching group, only to calm only a moment later when Jyo gave an indignant "Hush!" in the sea monster's direction. Aria merely huffed and did her best impression of a sad puppy toward her trainer, which probably looked hilarious to anyone who didn't know the gyarados. Zeik broke off his game with the mareep in order to eye the new arrivals as well, though he didn't get the chance to begin hissing and growling, as Jyo patted him on the head with a word of,"Easy."

A hole was made for the two in the water to climb aboard, so Jyo decided to offer a little help,"Aria, be a dear and help out guests aboard, please."

As requested, the gyarados lowered her head, becoming a stable pathway to the ghost ship.

"So, I take it one of you is a psychic?" Jyo looked between the two, but neither of them looked like anyone she had met in Lavender Town, or anywhere else for that matter.

Jay Kelavi

Unlike the new girl, Jay did not attempt to stifle an eye roll. Although, nor could she stifle a small exasperated grin that appeared on her face at Castron's comment. Jay leaned to her side and whispered so that only Argos could hear, "We'll see how far beauty'll go for this chick, eh?" Jay straightened herself as her Arcanine gave a huffed laugh and she couldn't help herself from doing the same.

Jay leaned over the rail and looked down at the ocean to see that Loa was now swimming on this side of the boat alongside Jyo's Gyarados while Empress flew slightly ahead of Loa. Jay offhandedly heard Castron telling his Chatot to fly over to the other boat, but she was too caught up with the warm ocean breeze to really pay the bird mind as it flew off over the ocean.

Jay only snapped back to reality as the small bird came swooping back to perch on Castron's shoulder. She chuckled as the bird pestered him a bit before flapping away from his trainer. With that, Argos suddenly put his paws up on the railing, puffed his chest fur out, and was growling lowly at an approaching figure. Jay nearly jumped at his menace before she looked out over the ocean, finally catching sight of the Walrein and its two riders.

As the two humans and the Pokemon continued to move closer to the ghost ship, Jay began to stroke Argo's puffed fur. He was clearly not in the mood for these strangers or the possible danger they could bring, but after a moment, Jay was able to calm his nerves a bit despite the fact that he still looked displeased. The two riders stopped near the boat and Jay was finally able to see that it was a girl and a boy aboard the Walrein. The girl yelled up to the three of them who were on board and Castron immediately answered, ordering his Aagron below deck to rip a hole in the side of the boat. Loa leaped with surprise at the sudden action and began to swim a bit faster. Jay rolled her eyes at this, thinking the whole ordeal was both strange and unnecessary, but she opted to keep her mouth shut.

As Jyo ordered her Gyarados to make a pathway for the two strangers, Empress, the Flygon, finally noticed the fiasco happening behind her. Realizing that she was about to miss the arrival of two stranger to the ship, Empress fell back and began to circle several yards above the head of the Gyarados, keeping an eye on the two humans just in case they were not as friendly as they had claimed.

As the two boarded the ship, Argos began to growl once more. He was not happy with the first stranger whom they had come upon -Jyo- and was much less happy about two more strangers. Jay understood this and smoothed his fluffed fur once more; however, this time, the Arcanine continued to give a deep, throaty growl as the two boarded.

The had that Jay kept a Argos neck vibrated from his rumbling as she spoke to him in a low voice, "Fine. You win. Just don't do anything rash, okay?" However, Argos did not nod or even acknowledge his trainers words. Jay gave a deep sigh and shook her head. On her shoulder, Eona gave a quiet mew and Jay looked over to see that the Eevee was also vibrating slightly from Jay's shaking shoulder. Jay gave a dry chuckle and moved Eona to the other shoulder where she seemed a bit happier - although she was still unhappy with the fact that Argos seemed so unfriendly to the new strangers.

Jay gave a quick look around at Castron, Jyo, and the strange yet powerful multitude of Pokemon around the ship and shook her head, mentally preparing herself for the pair of new faces and strange personalities.

D.J. was once again sighing as they got closer to the ship. It seems her plan to let him do the talking wasn’t going to go anywhere, ‘Scared the turtle into his shell.’ She thought to herself, while glaring at Shiva, who was actually wearing a smirk. She knew Shiva had planned on bumping more than needed, and she wanted to drown the Walrus, but loved her too much.

When the Captain(?) said hello back to them, and yelled for something below, D.J. raised her head. However, that didn’t stop her from jumping back when some Pokémon punched a hole in the side of the ship. She saw an Aagron, who looked somewhat pleased with itself before Jack jumped off of Shiva like a bat out of hell. ‘Another great interaction with a man.’ She thought, and then somehow didn’t freak out when the Gyarados lowered itself downward, acting as some type of bridge from Shiva to the boat. Then some woman, probably its trainer, yelled/ asked if one of them was a psychic. D.J. yelled back, “Nope! Just a big-ass Walrus rider!” And then stood up on Shiva, her feet now used to standing on her from the past.

When Jack offered his hand, D.J. felt a memory rush back up. It was her 18th birthday, usually the time royalty can pick a spouse, and many men asked her for her hand that night, in dancing and in marriage. Of course, she managed to scare them off or at the very least let them down gently with Buzzly behind her. It was a fun night, indeed. She smirked, and then walked onto the Gyarados’s head, which was awesome, and then took his hand before returning Shiva to her ball. Once clasped, she jumped off, still holding his hand, and landed beside him. She didn’t let go as she spoke, “’Take my hand’ has an entirely different meaning where I am from. Last guy who asked ended up wetting himself.” She smiled and then gently released her hand from his before returning her hands to the ‘royal’ position in front of her. She looked around, and saw it did look like a ghost ship, minus the odd assortment of Pokémon. She didn’t know these Pokémon trainers, so she stood close to Jack.

“So, do you think our host will offer us some wine before he sacrifices us to Kyogre, or just off the plank?"

Jack Robin

You hear someone above ask if either of you were psychic. You thought to yourself it was funny in a way that someone would think such a thing. And what an odd question it was at that. He'll have Ricardo meet the one he had communicated with earlier, but there was something else at hand for the moment. D.J. and the looming awkwardness. Once she was aboard, it was another odd and strange awkward moment. Jack had expected her, of all people, to drop his hand once in sturdy...boat. But she hadn't, holding it longer than necessary as she went about collecting the damned proud walrus and explaining that 'take my hand' had a different meaning where she came from then proceeding to mention a poor full wetting himself.

How embarrassing that would have been for the ol' fool. Of course, Jack knew exactly what D.J. meant by the statement. For a short moment, Jack was sorry for the fool, but it quickly subsided as none other than Ricardo came popping out of his Pokeball. He looked around the cabin of the ship, clearly looking old and weathered, then looked at Jack. Ricardo had a look that said he just wanted to meet these people, he didn't even have to say a word.

Jack was taken aback by the feeling of D.J. letting his hand go, but still standing close. He listened closely as she asked her odd question, his eyebrow lifting slightly. Her outbursts were always so odd, but had a slight point to the matter. "It's a possibility. But it's also a possibility that these are the others. We'll know once we talk to them a little more." He paused his mono-toned speech-of-sorts and looked at Ricardo who was patiently waiting to get moving and meet these people. Jack nodded and started up to the top deck where it seemed ever one else was.

He stepped out onto the deck first, taking a glance around at the three trainers and the odd assortment of Pokemon before, ever so mono-tonely, introducing himself and the others. "Hello. I'm Jack, this is D.J. and that's Ricardo." He said as he gestured to D.J. then Ricardo. "Your bird that had flown over had asked us why we were here and hadn't given us the chance to answer. To answer the question, I should explain that we had gotten a letter, from an unacknowledgeable source, with directions to come here." He ended his little statement here, his face ever so emotionless and his tone of voice mono.

Castron Jacruze

Castron smirked as the large gyrados made a pathway for the others, he turned to Jyo and smirked slightly. "So, I take it you like to take the safe way, not the fun way?" he said before laughing lightly to himself and turning to the new guests on his ship, the boards below now repaired as the Dusknoir floated beside his trainer, glaring at the lucario, not liking the look of him or the way he felt to the ghost.

"Hello there Jack, Ricardio. I am Castron Jacruze, this is my friend Necro..." he pokemon offered a small wave but no smile. "...Pirate...and Pillow" he said as almost on cue Pillow reappeared and made her way to the feet of the boy, curious of him though it seemed as if it was just a natural liking to the newcomer. "We are heading to the island according to letters me and Miss Jyo received, I perceive you two are of the same nature as we are?" he said with a small whisp in his voice as he spoke, as to the point of if fog came from his mouth he would have been the near in vision of death himself.

Distro slowly made his way from the bottom of the deck, seeing the fighting pokemon and growling lowly, with a distinct anger towards fighting types he had grown with for most of his life. He looked up to his trainer behind the newcomers and shook his head making a slashing motion with his horn as to get rid of them, which was responded with from a small shake of his head and a chickle from Castron.
