      Name:
      Ashley Stoke, normally called Ashes.
      Age:
      Seventeen
      Gender:
      Female
      Appearance:
Height: 4'11" ; Weight: 115 lbs ; Hair: Dark brown, almost black ; Eyes: Caramel coloured
She has an infinity symbol on her thumb and the Deathly Hallows symbol on her wrist. She used to love her boyfriend running his thumb or lips over her wrist tattoo.

      Personality:
Her primary mode of living is focused internally, where she deals with things rationally and logically. Her secondary mode is external, where she take things in via her five senses in a literal, concrete fashion. She has a compelling drive to understand the way things work. Good at logical analysis, she likes to use it on practical concerns. Typically having strong powers of reasoning, although she's not interested in theories or concepts unless she can see a practical application. She likes to take things apart and see the way they work. Lights is fiercely independent, needing to have the space to make her own decisions about her next step. She does not believe in or follow rules and regulations, as this would prohibit her ability to "do her own thing". Her sense of adventure and desire for constant action makes her prone to becoming bored rather quickly. Although she does not respect the rules of the "System", she follows her own rules and guidelines for behavior faithfully. She will not take part in something which violates her personal laws.

She likes and needs to spend time alone, because this is when she can sort things out in their minds most clearly. She absorbs large quantities of impersonal facts from the external world, and sort through those facts, making judgments, when she is alone. Lights is an action-oriented person. She likes to be up and about, doing thing, which means she won't sit behind a desk all day and do long-range planning. Adaptable and spontaneous, she responds to what is immediately before her. She usually has strong technical skills, and can be a effective technical leader. She does not pay attention to her own feelings, and even distrust them and try to ignore them, because she has difficulty distinguishing between emotional reactions and value judgments. This may be a problem area for her.

When over-stressed, she may exhibit rash emotional outbursts of anger, or on the other extreme may be overwhelmed by emotions and feelings which she feels compelled to share with people (often inappropriately). When down on herself she will foray into the world of value judgments - a place which is not natural for the her - and judge herself by the inability to perform some task. Lights will then approach the task in a grim emotional state, expecting the worst.

      Sexual Orientation:
      Straight

Two years ago...
Sophomore slump. That was what they called it, right? Ashley was understanding the term more than anyone right then. Except it wasn't even because of grades, she knew she would probably graduate with a 4.0 with the way her academics were looking. It was because of the way they were circled around her, grabbing her, pushing her. She knew what they wanted, and thought for a moment that maybe if she just gave them it, they might not hurt her. Instead she pulled her coat closer to her, wishing someone would come along and save her. That was silly though, no one wandered around in dark alleys on rainy nights.

And then someone was there, pushing them away from her, using their body as a barrier between her and the senior guys. Right then is where she should have run, but she couldn't do anything other than stand there and stare. It was easy to figure out who it was that had saved her, there weren't a lot of kids around there with dreads. She didn't like the whole dreadlocked look, she decided then, but it looked good on him. Sort of fit, with how he acted and all. It was then that one of the guys broke free and came at her again.

Ashes woke up in a cold sweat, just barely holding back a scream. Her hand had shot up to cover her mouth, though even if she had screamed it wouldn't have made a difference. No one else was in the house, the maids left at eleven and her father hadn't been around since she was little. It was a large enough house that the sound probably would have echoed back to her, but also far enough away from the next house over that they wouldn't be able to hear it. Maybe that wasn't such a good thing, she thought. No one would be able to hear her if she screamed for help. She always thought about those sorts of things.

Getting up from her huge, plush bed, she found a pair of thin sweatpants to pull on before heading out of her room. That left her in the grey sweats and a black tank, so she grabbed a hoodie before leaving her house. Not many people were out at this time of night anyways, so she didn't have to worry about dressing up or anything. Her mascara and eyeliner were still on from the previous day, just messy from sleeping, so even though she wasn't worried about running into anyone she knew, she at least knew she looked okay.

It was when she ran into the man that she had been having a dream about earlier that she knew she was screwed.

He was yelling at random people it seemed. At first it appeared he was just feuding with someone, then she followed him for a bit and realized that he was just yelling at anyone. It was also pretty obvious that he was high, or at least not in his right mind. Sighing loudly, she trotted out of the shadows and over to him, easily slipping under his arm which she hoped would surprise him enough to shut him up. "Babe! I've been looking everywhere for you." She played the role of a concerned girlfriend, worrying over him first before looking over to the couple he had been shouting at. "I'm so sorry... he gets a little cranky after he's been drinking." Shrugging, she started to try and tug him away, hoping he would either remember her or realize she was trying to help. "Come on babe, let's get back home."

If it wasn't ashley that approached him, Glenn would've probably lashed out at her. It was then when he realized it wasn't a stranger, and you could see him smiling, though, it still seemed off in every way. The fact that Ashley had him seen when he drugged himself brought the dissapointment, but he couldn't care less as he was unable to recognize that emotion. However, he was happy it was her, and as if he was a protective mother, he rubbed his thumbs over her shoulder and dragged her close for a moment.
"Lately the ways turned around, didn't they?" Glenn muttered, being guided home by the girl he saved those two years ago. It indeed was true. She picking him up, instead of him going about and flailing about her safety, it was strange that things changed like this. He chuckled to himself as he got reminded of that, but didn't take the effort to explain. She wouldn't understand his ranting, anyway.
Quite thankful, Glenn let himself collapse on the couch. His head was spinning for a moment because of the sudden temperature change, but that would soon vanish as the warmth was way better than the sharp wind outside. When Ashley entered the room where he was settled in, he couldn't help it but smile at her for a moment, having the thought of standing up and leap at her, kissing her and just hold her close, but it would be out of the scene and therefore, Glenn was high.
"I missed you, where the hell have you been?" He asked her instead, with a boyish grin, and his hands clutched together. He indeed missed her, but the answer that he could expect probably was directed to that she always had been here, and he had to explain himself again. He would, but only if he had a proper explanation, and he didn't have one.

From the way Glenn was acting, it was pretty obvious to her that he hadn't noticed they were at her house. Though she was sort of counting on that, otherwise he probably would have made some big deal about it, being high and all. She had no idea where he lived though, and she figured he wasn't in the right mind to tell her, so it was simpler to just continue on and bring him back to her place. Mostly she just assumed he would crash on the couch, maybe sleep off some of his hangover or whatever the next day, and be gone again. After he had graduated high school, the seventeen year old hadn't seen very much of him.

After leaving him in the living room, she headed into the kitchen, where she rummaged through the cabinets until she found a little bottle of Advil. There was always some sort of headache reliever in the house, whether it was Advil or Tylenol or even Aspirin, because when she was little she used to get headaches all the time. Now they only came every once in awhile though, which she was very happy about. When she did get them though, they were bad, and lasted a long time.

A few minutes later she was back in the living room, offering Glenn a bottle of water and two of the pills before standing back. "I've been around." Was her answer, short and simple, like her(literally, she was only 4'11"). Ashes never was very complicated, not one to talk much, always seeming to be hiding something. At least that was how it was if you actually thought about it, paid attention. Most people just left her alone, figuring she just wasn't very social. And she wasn't, really. Horrible at parties because of her negativity on everything, though she was great at mingling with the adults at her father's "parties". "What about you, Glenny?" Though she didn't expect much of an answer.
