a character in “Project ALPHA”, as played by FunnyGuy

Description

Image
Codename: Ares
Name: Tyson Smith
Age: 19
Height: 6’2
Weight: 240 lbs
Description: Tyson usually dresses pretty plain since his clothes don’t last too long. His eyes are a light brown, almost being considered an amber color.
Personality: Tyson is a very overconfident guy, that just loves to push things to the edge. Though he’s a few months younger than Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon, he usually tries to put himself right up in there standings. He’s known to even fabricate some of his accomplishments. Other than that, you can say that Tyson is emotion driven. He says what’s on his mind, and it’s not hard to read how he’s feeling through his actions and expressions. He usually sports a smile that just radiates his pride, either during fights or just for show. His loyalty to Kronos is very shaky as he seems very easily swayed if you have silver tongue.
Power: Super Strength and Durability
Achilles Heel: Tyson is gullible and easily distracted. Even mild and random things can completely pull his attention or deceive him.
History: Tyson was born and raised in New York City for most of his life. His mother raised him by herself, having no support from either family or Tyson’s father. While attending school, Michael never excelled to well in class, but in sports he was just a natural born athlete. He was such a great defensive football player, that he was offered a free ride into Syracuse. He only attended there for a while before developing a heart condition that stopped him from playing.

All hope seemed lost until he was contacted by a modeling agency in Washington D.C. He accepted the offer and moved into the district where he now currently resides.

So begins...

Tyson Smith~Ares

A loud cackle escaped a small clothing store in the mall as young man walked out of a changing room holding a torn jacket. The dark complexioned teen seemed to find the predicament he was in rather humorous when presenting the jacket to the nearest store clerk. Not known to the clerk, this type of thing happened a lot to this guy. The teenager couldn’t count how many times he had to pay for clothing he’d ruin when trying them on.

“Um… Sir, are you alright?” The woman asked with a worried look. She couldn’t understand why he found this funny. That hadn’t been the cheapest jacket, and he’d have to pay for it now.

“Yeah, it’s all good. I just need a larger size.” He replied rather calmly as he handed over the jacket. The woman paused for a second as she stared at the nice physique of the teen just wearing a wife-beater and jeans. “Is there a larger size?” he asked as he noticed her staring.

“Oh! Yeah, I’ll be back with a new jacket. You’re going to have to pay for this one though.”

“Yup.” The young man answered calmly before waiting in front of his changing room. It wasn’t long until the teen was pulling out his credit card and purchasing everything he had bought.

“So your name is Tyson Smith?” The clerk said trying to make small talk. Tyson found it a bit funny before joking with her.

“Nah, it’s Ares, the god of war.” He said with a laugh before entering the pin for his card. The woman smiled at his sarcasm, though she wasn’t too fond of it. That didn’t stop her from quickly writing her number down on his receipt and handing it to him. Tyson just chuckled though, just before pushing her hand back. “Sorry, you’re cute and all, but you might be too fragile for me.” Tyson said with a smirk before walking out of the store.

That had to be one thing he hated doing. Being a Quasigod was great and all, but it was like being an alien or something. No matter how hard Tyson thought he could try, he knew he’d never really fit in with the rest of society; even with his powers being more subtle than most of the other Quasigods. Of course he was like a walking tank in most situations; he loved that a lot, but it would be nice to not ruin everything that was too delicate for him, which would include other people. Tyson could remember back to a time where he put a kid in the hospital when playing a pickup game of touch football. That’s when Kronos basically told him that physical interaction with others was limited and prohibited in some cases. The only great things about his fake life, was his occupation as a model and the fact that he wasn’t held up somewhere like those freak experiments in movies. He never considered himself a freak though. He actually thought highly of himself.

Tyson was heading for the exit of the mall, but he let his eyes wander. There could be a chance he’d catch a familiar face, or perhaps something really eye catching in a store window.

Shisuri Sensura - Disonyus

Shisuri leaned against a wall on the street opposite the Mall. He was wondering if anyone thought he was suspicious, in his strange getup. Although, it was to be expected of one of the more.. Stealthy Quasigods. Shisuri too was a Quasigod. A gifted mutation that was often referred to as the "Mutt" of the group. Or the runt. Take your pick. This didn't bother him though. So long as he had his "Siblings" he was alright.

He suddenly felt a shiver run down his spine, when he saw Ares. "Oi. War God, get your butt over here. I thought it was you making that ruckus in there!" He shouted, a small grin creeping onto his face. "If you're going clothes shopping again, you should tell some of us. Cell Phone numbers aren't to be forgotten, Ares." He laughed, folding his arms and proceeding to approach him. "Why did you of all people have to be a Model?" He grunted.

Tyson Smith~Ares

Tyson had been exiting the mall with his signature grin on his face, before hearing a familiar voice call out to him. His eyes shot toward Dionysus, a Quasigod he knew he could always get along with. He had made his way over to his “sibling” with a smile. It had been some time since Tyson saw him, or any of the other Quasigods for that matter. His pride might have kept him from actually dialing their numbers if he ever needed assistance with anything, and Tyson was the type of guy that always needed watching.

“I guess people just recognize how much of a work of art I am.” Tyson said as he playfully flexed his muscles. He chuckled a bit and stopped before talking again. “And cell phones work both ways, last I heard. So what brings you to the… mall?” Tyson had paused when his attention was taken by the arrival of both Hera and Hestia. Those were two Quasigods he had never gotten the time to know. He did know enough about them to know that they announced as failed. That might have been the reason he never really tried to get to know the two. Of course it was a shallow reason, but that didn’t seem to bother the teen at all.

His eyes flickered from Hera to Hestia, as if he was sizing them up. The grin on his face soon became a smile that was followed by lively words. “Hey… I actually just got out of there, but we big strong men wouldn’t mind being your escorts through the mall. We can keep the pervs away.” Tyson suggested before leaning back toward Dionysus and whispering. “I thought they were twins… One is tiny and one is… hot.”

Bridget smiled and slightly rolled her eye at the "Hot" comment, did he really think that if he whispered to Dionysus that she and Lucy wouldn't hear.

"Yes, we're twins but no one said we were "identical twins", it was true her and her sister looked very different and similar at the same time, the dark hair and green eyes. Either way she didn't really care it was nice to know that at least she was considered attractive, especially from someone who's career was a modeling. She looked over at Lucy, she thought her sister was gorgeous in her own way, she was more petite and quiet but she also had nice curves and beautiful hair and eyes.

"Well I don't know if we would need protecting but, it would be nice to have someone to talk to while we shop" said Bridget. "My names Bridget and this is my sister Lucy, now I'm not familiar with either one of your "real" names" she said with a smile.

Tyson Smith~Ares

Tyson listened to Hera speak and introduce herself with his smile meant to charm. He was too ignorant to see that Hestia didn’t want him there and it would soon be apparent that he’d be ignorant to her words as well. Doing all the talking as usual, he put his hand behind his head in a relaxed stance while he basically showed off his physique. He did these things on purpose sometimes, just to show off.

“Of course! Tyson Smith would be glad to escort the pretty ladies through the mall! Talking is cool too.” Tyson said with a chuckle. His laughter was cut short however with Lucy’s words. He gave her a perplexed look at first. It appeared what she had said had really gotten to him. At least that’s what anyone would think as he scowled. “Are you serious?! Who’s the asshole that’s picking on you? Is it Poseidon? Or maybe it’s Hephaestus. Yeah, he’d do something like that. Well, whoever it is, I’m more than enough to keep you feeling safe. I’m ready when you are, ladies.” Tyson said with his smile returning.

"Ouch low blow sis, but I think he's too dumb to realize you were talking about him", Bridget said in her head to Lucy. Tyson was cute, and Bridget was definitely attracted to him physically. But Bridget wasn't the type to care what the guy looked like, yeah it was nice if they were attractive but if they were going to be inconsiderate and unfaithful what was the point. But she would give Tyson a chance, thats when she heard a voice she hadn't heard for awhile. She swallowed hard and turned to see... Zeus. His smiling face, a happy disposition, he hadn't changed a bit other then being more handsome.

Kronos had introduced them to each other at a young age, she had been seven and he was ten at the time. She never understood the insistence they had on trying to pair her with him. Just because their "namesakes" had been coupled together didn't mean they had to be right...

"Hello Zach" she said quietly. "No reunion but we were going to go shopping, why are here?", she asked.

Tyson couldn’t help but give full attention to his brother Zeus. He didn’t know what it was about his three eldest brothers that did this to him, but it was as if everything that uttered from his mouth was important enough to listen to. Zach could have been talking about how had eaten a sandwich, and it would take Tyson away from his own thoughts. It wasn’t until Zach finished speaking that Tyson went forth and said something.

“Yeah, let’s head inside before the family guy gets the silent treatment from Gabby. I’ll lead the way!” Tyson said with a bit of excitement as he pointed to the glass doors of the mall entrance. He nearly marched off before turning back to look at both Lucile and Bridget. His eyes then darted toward Zach. Tyson glared at the latter before looking forward again. “Pssst! Zach… I need to ask you something.” Tyson asked in a whisper. He had something very important to ask him. Well, it was at least important to Tyson, which might be something that didn’t matter at all to anyone else, even if his face was the epitome of all seriousness.

"Yeah, let’s head inside before the family guy gets the silent treatment from Gabby. I’ll lead the way!" Zach heard Tyson say. He laughed, and, agreeing that being late (Well, later) to Gabby's birthday party would only lead to a harsh scolding from the nine-year-old.

Zach smiled as they began walking. In truth, he wanted to run into the building at full speed and get out of the girls' toy section as soon as possible. But with his fellow Quasigods he felt he just couldn't hurry away. It had been too long since they'd seen each other in a non-mission setting. He had to admit the others looked pretty good in casual, day-to-day outfits, and attitudes. He sometimes wondered what it would be like if he was really the person he pretended to be. He tried to live a normal life, but it all seemed so... unreal. It was all a cover-identity after all. And yet, he didn't really feel like he was 'Zues' either. He wondered what it was like for people to know exactly what their part in the world was. Even if it was something simple, like a librarian, or a fast-food chef. Just to know who you were... It was something that nagged at the back of his mind. Just to know what his part in the world was. Besides random missions for Kronos.

"Pssst! Zach… I need to ask you something." He heard out to the side. He turned, and saw Tyson, just outside the glass door that lead into the mall. Zach walked over, wondering what the matter was. He looked like he had something bugging him. But that was just Zach's first impression.

He stuffed his hands in his pockets, and walked over. "What is it?" He asked quietly so no one else would hear. "Something on your mind?" He asked, coming to a stop. He raised an eyebrow over one of his ice-blue eyes, and wondered what was up. He couldn't help but notice his glance over at Bridget and Lucile. He wondered if this had to do with the girls. The thought almost made him chuckle, but he held it back.
